Ambetter Health App Reviews

Shows Incorrect Plan. Currently shows incorrect plan information (which I’ve had for several months) on ID card in app, while the desktop site reflects the correct plan. This renders the app useless for me until the issue is fixed, as the coverage information is not correct. Feedback submitted to Ambetter 7/9/24. Will consider using if this is resolved in future updates.

App not working. Then had this app for almost 3 weeks now and every time I go into it, it says member data cannot be displayed at this time. Please try again later. Not sure if the app works or not I even deleted it and re downloaded and it still says the same thing

Scam… Lying Scam. Clicked on an ad for a “$6400” subsidy. Actually was able to qualify this time as I just lost my job and health coverage. Was told I was being enrolled in a marketplace insurance program. Ad says the day after sign up my debit card would be mailed to me. Oh and I only get $340/month not the $6400/month advertised. Then on subsequent follow up calls, I get told that nothing happens until after the first of the month when my coverage takes effect. The. Told I have to create an account, login complete tasks for rewards… still waiting on my “subsidy” to show up but that isn’t happening anytime soon… no customer service answers no response with truthful facts…

Fix the SSO. This app is terrible please fix it. I cannot login with my credentials on this app it is stuck on an ever ending loop for sso. Yes, I’ve tried countless times.

Worse than the site, how?. I didn’t think it was possible, but they did it, made an app that performs worse than their site. To view covered service, claims history, or activity & usage, it just funnels you to the site. What’s the point of the app? I don’t need a digital card, but if you do, yay. I tried to view my current invoice and the pdf was from Aug 2023. To view your billing history, you guessed it, it sends you to the website. Oh, but don’t worry, they seem to have worked out the actual payment section, they ain’t gonna miss getting paid. The one and only good thing I can say is about the provider search. Since it can use your location, it makes it easier to find the provider you’re looking for. There are also helpful categories already laid out for you. Other than that, skip this app, it’s garbage.

Can’t even start. I’ve tried to create my membership account on 3 separate occasions with Ambetter. It’s been a month and it still doesn’t recognize my info as valid despite typing it verbatim from the health insurance card. Doesn’t work on their website, nor this app… which is a non starter. Looks like I’m not missing much in the app tho based on other reviews. I will be dropping you as an insurance provider unless you all do a 360 fast. 🫡

App and website. Their app and website needs a lot of improvement specially for members who needs to access their account. Both method required a lot of information even though the member already have a login. They also offer basic information so the member always ends calling a representative.

Worse app EVER. I rarely write reviews but this has to be the worst app ever. I can no longer view my dependents cards and sharing the card via email with anyone is pretty impossible and it never sends. The app is constantly stuck in loading and when you truly need to be able to access the app, it just loads. The only thing you can ALWAYS do is make a payment. Weird huh ? I truly despise the app so much that it makes me dislike the insurance provider because the app is not useful and I clearly need to app. Please don’t respond to this review with “ we understand your frustration or we are sorry to hear that…” you are not. Just fix it or don’t reply. Thank you. Signed a person with adhd and medical problems who relies on the app to do what it’s allegedly designed to do.

Do better!. Realizing you guys are finally trying to do the “right thing” after 5 months of constant back & forth with no response while I continued to pay YOU guys. Thank you for finally updating the Provider list how about we focus on the Customers THAT ARE PATIENTS from now on. I need to be able to make an appointment within a week not months later when my health has worsened.

Wrong info shown. Under Billing, when I tap on View Invoice (PDF), it shows an invoice from 4/30/2024. Today is 8/1/2024. Other than that, it seems to be ok so far.

Good App. Very convenient and easy to use. very useful features like Provider search, Id card and usage information.

Won’t log me in. I have changed my password 3 times it keeps taking me back to the verification email code page. IF then you can get in, there is nothing you can do change or manage it’s a worthless app, unfortunately. So I will continue to call customer service.

Login problems. This app doesn’t let me log in or create an account even though I am a member already.

Unable to access rewards. I am unable to change my points into dollars on my card. I am also unable to access the rewards. Considering they have to get used in a calendar year it would be nice if this worked.

Bad search results. 75% of the doctors listed do not take this insurance! Why even have a list? When searching for Urgent Care, I got a list for an eye doctor, hearing aids, nursing homes, and dentist. Not one urgent care center.

Worst app and insurance hands down. Their app is ridiculous. Made me reset my password three times within a matter of two minutes then they kept sending me verification codes. Every screen I went to they tell me one email address isn’t correct so I use the other one and they tell me that there’s no account for that email address but then I find out that the email address that I use for my account is the second one they don’t cover anything, they literally make you build up $8000 worth of dr bills before your insurance will do anything

What is the purpose of this app?. Let's see, I can view my ID card. Oh, I can do that in the native Wallet app. I already know my primary care provider's name. Anything about the plan or coverage takes me to their glacially slow website, but, hey, everything about how I pay them is right here. For the record, it's much, much more important to have information about what you do for me available in the app than it is to have information about what I do for you. It's not so much that it's a bad app as it is that the app doesn't do ANYTHING useful for me. Let me know when it actually helps me rather than you, eh? Right now it's useless and half-baked. The fact that it was released when it’s sole focus is on what I do for you tells me that your product managers and developers need a refresher on who is the customer here.

Not super user friendly. I have such a hard time maneuvering this app.I always try to do something and it doesn’t work so I’ll go to the info part to see if it’ll give me some insight on how to do it right and I’ll do what it says and that doesn’t even work.Nothing works.Thats just one of the issues.Its really hard for me to learn new things and this definitely doesn’t help any especially with recent turn of events for me.

Terrible. Ambetter is the WORST insurance there is. I advise everyone, choose any other Insurance coverage before this one. I would choose self pay before I choose Ambetter again!!

Can’t sign in. This app is no good I have been trying to sign in and it is telling me that something is wrong Yeah something is wrong with the app

design issues/bugs. the form to report an issue with the app has bo field to enter an email, and if you fill it out but dont have the standard apple MAIL app installed, it stops you to ask if you want to reinstall it, and if not, it automatically scraps your whole message and says it cant send it. also, you cant update your mailing address within the app, ut will not ever save.

Ambetter insurance. This is the best insurance I’ve had. The lady who helped me was amazing. Thank yall so much
