Sky Force. Really like where you’re going with your project here. The variety of flight patterns do get a little to obvious after a few rounds. So the more you mix it up, the better. But overall think is the best game of its type and do take your time getting it right as you have up to now, engaging with the player; it makes it appear as if you are not playing alone, which is totally brilliant😎♥️😎. Congrats on a great game😎😃😎 “Jumpmaster” would be a good nickname for me.

Amazing!. I'm. It the type to review games, mostly cause I think it is pointless because c'mon, who reads this crap anyway. This game deserves a review because it is amazing and is a success in so many ways. First of all, there is IAP but it's definitely it pay to win. I made it through much of he game without spending a cent but ended up buying IAP to avoid ads because I truest feel this dev deserves my support and I want to give it to them. This game is easy to play but takes time to master. Yeah you have to replay the levels in order to get the stars you need to fully upgrade your ship but he levels are lots of fun. There is lots of content and lots more to the game besides playing the easy difficulty on all the levels. Get all the medals for a real challenge. Download this game, you won't be disappointed. Thank you so much to the deva for putting the time in to make sometime true my enjoyable. This game will never be deleted from my phone.

Awesome game! Fair reward system!. So this is a great arcade style game, lots of fun! You can earn stars in game to buy upgrades to many parts of your ship. There are different ships, technicians that give you bonuses, and there are power ups! I like this game even more because it doesn't require you to buy in app purchases to actually make progress, unlike so many lame games these days. I play this game so much that I did pay the couple dollars to remove ads. I suggest doing that right off the bat, you'll enjoy the game so much more without waiting for 30 seconds after every run. You don't HAVE to but you'll love playing so much, you'll probably end up doing it anyway!

Absolute best arcade game I’ve ever played!. Everything in this game is amazing. The visuals are spectacular, the audio is unbelievable, the progression through the game is totally fair but I would HIGHLY recommend the one time payment of $1.99 (I think) to double the stars. I also get the $1.99 to remove ads. But I occasionally spend money on stars just to send a bone or two to the creators (it is absolutely superfluous to spend money on stars after the star doubler. I just want more games like this)

Fantastic game, one wish though.... ... I wish it had some form of landscape mode for my 12.9 ipad. Would be perfection if it did. I know the benefit of portrait mode is undeniable in a bullet shooter, but still :) Just my one wish :) I actually wish all portrait mode games could be played in landscape mode on the 12.9 ipad. Like even with black bars on side. The screen is sooo tall even in landscape that it would be like a really really big phone heh. Oh imagine split screen ... -drools-

My favorite game right now. Kudos to the developer! This game is like Groundhog Day and the Matrix in tiny servings. Let me explain. So you start off as a capable but weak ship able to make it through a level. You destroy baddies and collect stars and it feels good. But then there are the achievements you want to get so you play the same level over and over and you begin to memorize them. This is where you start to feel like Neo (Matrix) and Phil (Groundhog Day). You know there will be a barrage of planes on the left, there are two humans who need rescue on the right and there is a tank launching projectiles at you. Right now you’re too weak to complete all your objectives but each time you make it thru you get a little bit stronger. You upgrade, you run again, you upgrade and then you DO IT!!! And that feeling is so awesome!! I’m only on level 4 and I’m enjoying this game so much! If you like intense, challenging but rewarding gameplay in short bursts then this is the game for you!!

Great shooter with great graphics. When I was a kid playing in the arcade I was dreaming of a game that looked and played like this. The gameplay graphics and action is phenomenal. I love the attitude of the game and the characters. It adds that extra level of reality. The only drawback to the game is you have to play the same missions over and over again to build enough stars to progress. I’m only giving four stars because I’m stuck on level five for a week now and it’s extremely obnoxious. Great addictive game recommend

One of the top games in the App Store. I have been following this game series since the first one came out and loving every minute! Make no mistake this is a tough as nails SHMUP that is certainly not for the faint of heart. Difficulty is perfectly balanced to be frustratingly gratifying. There's no room for error once you reach the third difficult the level. The graphics are crisp and clean and the controls are better than any old Nintendo SHMUP. It is very satisfying to collect the stars too. I'm not a huge fan of waiting for upgrades but in a way it adds a satisfying element to the game too because you notice a difference each day when you login and your upgrades have completed. I greatly appreciate that this game is developers allows us to purchase as well instead of squeezing us for every drop. I will be playing this game for many years to come and still go back to the old one as well because they are both great

I..can’t...stop.... Dude. THIS game. I have been hooked ever since it downloaded about a month ago. GREAT time killer or just when you’re laying in bed. It’s probably the best free game I’ve ever gotten. So many upgrades available and you don’t have to buy anything to have a good time and be successful. The in game purchases are also cheap (.99 to 1.99) and are totally worth the few bucks to have no ads, 2x star earning, and accelerated plane recovery. Quick tip: If you’re low on planes, play easier levels so you don’t lose your last plane and are then forced to wait for your planes to regenerate (1 plane per hour give or take). Overall, this is an amazing arcade style plane shooter.

Not “fair”. While I’m sure some people like ever-increasing challenges, when it’s tied to in-app purchases, I still believe there’s an expectation that your purchased firepower is going to be able to defeat the enemies more easily. This isn’t the case with SFR. Instead, as you get more powerful, so do your enemies - some more than others. The result is that whether you play the game for enough hours to earn your firepower, or the $50+ that it takes to buy it all, the net is the same - levels that get so hard to do that the fun of the shooter is diminished. I also think that for $50, I should be able to kill almost anything... perhaps not with ease, but not at the same difficulty I had killing things at the first level with no purchases at all.

Excellent but needs more (please read developers). Seriously, it’s the best game I have on my iPad. But, it needs more. I completed and unlocked all levels less than a year. I would love more levels or new chapters like, this one, Scarlet’s breach, and the next one, The Machine Attack. Also, it needs more upgrades. I have everything maxed out, but nightmare mode on some levels feel impossible. Another idea is a building editor. You can make and share levels with your friends or public. More upgrades, more enemies, maybe a versus mode, which you have to complete a level first or do more tasks. Anyway, I would love these things if they were added. I hope you read this.

Classic arcade style shooter!. This game is infinitely replaceable. Even when you finish a level and you get all of the rewards, the stakes get higher and the difficulty will increase on that particular level. Collect stars to buy upgrades so that your ship becomes stronger and better and faster. Really great graphics super easy play ability one of my current favoriteGame for my iPad. The only downside that I can see is there isn’t a clear definition of how to use my mega bomb or some of the other bonus features. If anyone has any information on how to trigger the laser or the mega bomb on my iPad Pro, by all means do let me know. thanks again for a great game and I look forward to playing this for many hours more.

Longest Kept title on my IPad Pro. This game is simply awesome, graphics are sweet, sound is good. Ads are often but short (5sec’s, or about 25secs for another turn if our of turns or doubling your stars) $2 to remove the ads is a small price to pay for a developer that deserves the support. You can easily go the free to play route, if your willing to do a real life job for free yourself… High replay value, good for both killing a hour or 3 mins. Lastly, it will wake your under used brain up and build hand eye coordination, there gets to be ALOT happening on the screen at times, but that’s partly what makes it fun and a challenge. I know that all sounds to flowery, but I haven’t come across anything to complain about. Look, I’m 60yrs old and finishing this game (getting all medals) is gonna be rough, so I don’t know anything about end game on this. But, if I still had kids this would be one of a few games I wouldn’t stop them from playing (for reasonable amounts of time). There could be a development payoff that would benefit them later in life.

Nice looking and addictive, but.... I died tapping all over the screen trying to find the invisible power up buttons. Now I have to wait 30 min to try again, might as well write a review... I would give this 5 stars, but I can’t even play 5 levels. How can you possibly progress when you can only play once every 25 min?? Oops you were killed in three seconds that time? Sorry you have to wait 30 min to try again unless you use up all your money (if you were good enough in previous levels to get enough stars in the first place). Want to upgrade your ship? Great, but have fun figuring out how to actually use those power ups... there is literally nothing else on the screen and no info found on how to use them. Only what they do. Tips on loading screens keep telling me to use them, but they don’t tell me how.

Compared to console version it’s lacking.. Pretty identical to console version except for “pay to win” micro transactions. Lifting your thumb/finger slows gameplay and is the only way to activate laser, shield, and mega bomb...very annoying. If pause and power ups were on the screen to the side or in the corners or maybe even update the settings to where you can actually customize the game to your liking it would improve quality of life. I also feel as though movement speed should be adjusted since you drag your finger instead of move a thumb stick. One control scheme your thumb/finger gets in the way of visuals causing untouched challenge to be frustrating at times. The other control scheme doesn’t work well with the slowdown upon lifted thumb. Overall great time killer as most mobile games are but also lacking as most mobile games are.

Great game. Like Gallaga, space invaders , tank battle and more all rolled into one , I’m playing it on iPad 7 , and so far, it’s funnest I’ve played , most are a one play delete, but so far it’s challenging, ads aren’t to bad for amount of time you get to play and at least there just x off ads which I understand, and I’m sure I’ll try a new game if it appeals to me. Worth trying if you like fast moving , just work on one challenge at a time, get to end , then go back and do next challenge, save men , then , you’ll get idea

Best Game On Apple TV!. Sky Force Reloaded is by far the best game on Apple TV. It offers console level of entertainment & attention to detail. I love how each level presents additional difficulty modes that would appear once I clear the objectives of the last available mode. And the 3rd party game controller support is a nice cherry on top. This game has kept me entertained for years. The developers have done a really great job making & fine tuning this game. I’ll continue making in-app purchases from time to time just to support the development of this game & the awesome team behind it.

Packed with content!. For an iOS game, the graphics are stunning. The Reloaded version comes with several ways to progress through the game. There are multiple "technicians" to collect, which alter the way your plane behaves in the game; there are several achievements to earn which lead to new technicians; new planes - each with their own abilities; and there are new levels to enjoy. The tournament will keep you busy competing with friends, too. If you haven't played this game before give it a shot. It has everything to keep you entertained for months. I would've paid for this game in a heartbeat. I can't believe it's free! Please, keep new levels/planes/technicians/achievements coming. I would like to see this game bridge the gap between console games and traditional iOS games. If the developers would introduce new content every few months, they could easily keep devoted fans entertained, while also getting new players on board. I imagine "map packs" with one or two new planes, a new technician, and a new level coming out every three months or so. I would certainly pay $1.99 for a season pass to access this content for a year.

Great scrolling shooter for killing a few minutes (or hours) at a time!. Years ago I downloaded 2 of the xFighter games which were great mobile games, but unfortunately the developer never updated them for 64 bit iOS 11 support, so they have been missed. However, those games only had 4 levels each and were not nearly as challenging as the levels in this game, so they had far less replayability. Couple that with greatly improved graphics for the modern iPhone hardware, and (at times) much more fast-paced gameplay, and you get a slam dunk. Bravo!

Fantastic Space Shooter. I don’t write many reviews but this game is great. I’ve played many of the Space Shooter games offered on iOS but this one is definitely one of the best. Its well balanced for difficulty and reward. New ships are obtainable from collecting in game. You can also get one from having played Sky Force: 2014. Ships are upgraded via star collection from blowing things up. There are objectives to complete for each level that keep you coming back. All in all this is a very solid game and I hope the next one is better, if that’s possible.

Perfect Game!!!. This is coming from a 50 year old dude who usually does not play too many games: This is one of the best games I have ever played in my life!! I know it sounds like hyperbole, but this game is addictive as heck, the creators have made it easy to pass the time while I wait for my daughter to finish piano practice, etc. This is just a really good and engaging game. I was addicted to the 2014 version, and didn't know about the 2017 version; my daughter discovered by accident and told me right away because she knew how I enjoyed the 'old' version. Anyway, sorry for the rambling; keep up the excellent work idreams!!!

Loyalist. Since I might be one of the only people who’s kept this game till 2020 since I like it so much, can you please retool some of the pilots? Like the one who’s supposed to randomly strike thunder on enemies, he doesn’t do it at all. I’ve made this request before by the way. Also, it’s not helpful that the helper planes only show up once every 4 tries and then dies almost immediately because you can’t really control where they go, with the exception of one plane (don’t remember which one) that said, by far top 3 favorite games since the day I got it, which is a long time ago. 👏🏾👍🏾

Super fun...but super grindy...however.... Great graphics. Great gameplay. Good enemies. Fun bosses. Good music. But super grindy meaning you have to play the same missions over and over and over and over again. You get these stars the better you do. You roll those stars into upgrades which help you do better. Rinse and repeat until you’ve beaten the game years later. And there you have it. It’s a fun break when you are left with nothing but your phone and time to kill. One of the good things about this game that separates it from others is that it can be played entirely in airplane mode. On a plane, in a train underground, out in the boonies with no signal...NO PROBLEM.

Game Progress Synchronization Issue. Don’t take me wrong, this is a great game, but there is an ongoing issue with the game progress being synchronized across iCloud devices that has been going on for a really long time and the developer has yet to address it. I have this game on both my Apple TV and iPhone and my progress will not synchronize across devices no matter what. I have tried logging out and back into my iCloud on both devices without luck, and if you google the issue, you’ll see I’m not the only one. Also, there is no way to add friends through the Apple TV app. You must download the iPhone app to add friends. They should add that option to the Apple TV as well.

Everything you could want in an old school scrolling shooter!. (I have no connection to the developer. I’m just a supportive fan) This developer is doing everything right: 1. Make a great little platform-style game that you can play for as little as 2-3 min to hours at a time with an ever increasing progression of weapons, enemies, bosses, power-ups, etc. 2. Make it free to try... Get paid by running ads for the cheapskates and troglodytes who take pride in never paying a cent for a game they spend hundreds of hours playing. (We all know that person...🤨) 3. Allow reasonable people to pay a very reasonable fee to remove the annoying ads. (Note to Dev: I’d not have blinked at $5 to remove ads after 10 min of playing the game) 4. Make the game challenging and difficult without *requiring* the use of power-ups or costly upgrades just to make progress. 5. For those who wish to advance faster, upgrades can be purchased, but there is no thing that cannot be earned as opposed to purchased (so far) Please support this developer by making a few purchases that are actually micro. Remove the ads. Buy a few upgrades. I’m not talking about $50 or a hundred or more, I’m talking about $5-$10 so the developer can keep working on great games like this.

Brilliant game but where to next?. I absolutely love this game, by starting off very basic and levelling up as you play it creates an awesome want and need to be continuously improving your abilities and replaying levels. The nightmare difficulty setting that unlocks once you complete all the missions is brilliant! The only problem now is I have all my planes and all of them on maximum level, so I am kind of losing interest as there is no motivation besides finishing all the nightmare levels to continue. Please tell me you've got a lovely update cooking in your basement that will address this I can't wait to get back into sky force reloaded again!

Awesome time killler. Best game I’ve played that doesn’t exaggerate with the ads. Yes they are annoying but they’re 5 second shippable ads. Smooth graphics and controls. Nice 3D elements in the game for what’s suppose to be a 2D game. Stage 5 is your go to stage to collect stars to upgrade your planes. There is an option to remove ads, X2 stars and speed up for plane upgrades which are a couple dollars each which isn’t a lot compared to other games that’ll charge $10. If you’re looking to play this game all day you might have to consider spending stars to replenish your attempts that refresh 1 every hour. Or you can use stars to speed up the process. If you don’t have enough you can buy more but the attempts you have to play is more than enough in my opinion haha

Awesome Flashback!. This game pays perfect homage to the arcade shooters that were so prevalent in the late 80’s. Fast paced fun that is brilliant in its simplicity, you can jump right in to the beautifully rendered levels and immerse yourself in the frenzy of action from the word “go”! While higher levels require a bit of a grind to unlock its not something that feels like an insurmountable task. No cash necessary but the fee for removing ads and doubling your star reward are more than reasonable to help support the creators of this excellent endeavor.

The best in a long time. This game is the best by far so far.. I am 51 years old, my generation was the first to discover and play video games, from Atari, pong to pac man. So Skyforce R has all of the fun, excitement, humor and killer graphics that it is an awesome game.. I would recommend it to everyone at every age. It doesn’t have the blood and guts splattering all over the place which makes it great for every age in my opinion. Now I don’t write reviews unless it is absolutely astonishing to me, so far this is my 4th one out off 200 apps, or so. So to the developers, keep it up, this is exactly what my friends and I look for in a game, job well done.. of course you will always have negative reviews, can’t make everyone happy, but I think you made something that actually got my attention, which is hard. I own 4 companies, I do well, and of course I always give what is given to me ( money to unsuspecting people, in public) without anyone knowing my name, which is returning what is given.. So iam also very intelligent, so I have high standards and this game has it all . Very impressive.. Thank you Developers, and all who had a hand in making this game.....

Love it but needs more. I finished the game and love it but it needs more levels like could you make chapter 2? Or more bonus levels and different upgrades like side upgrade for example the main canon can penetrate through enemy's and objects, max health can be increased with faster regeneration (if you have the card), wing cannon shoots faster, missiles explode in a radius damaging nearby enemy's or objects, magnet has larger range and with negative force can slow down enemy bullets, laser is wider and last longer, shield can deflect enemy projectiles including lasers and increases the shield resistance and it will not break, and mega bob it is more destructive and instead of one bomb it explodes more one after another and please please please change the card radar and add more cards! I'm not maxed out on upgrades but I need more cards and please send me stars please like tons because I'm in a difficult situation that my upgrades are high but impossible for nightmare

One of the best mobile games. This game keeps your attention when you play it extremely well. Each level is beautiful, well designed gameplay wise, and a unique challenge. Upgrades to your ship multiple difficulties for each level and different challenges for each level as well as a scoring system add so much longevity for the game. Did I mention the graphics are incredibly beautiful? With a well thought out, beautiful UI to top it off. I can’t recommend this game enough, and if you do get it, PLEASE buy the “remove ads” in-app-purchase to support the devs! They’ve done a great job of bringing a stellar game to a mobile device.

Really awesome SHMUP!. I’ve been deeply absorbed in HAWK: Freedom Squadron for a long time, but this game, Sky Force R., may actually knock it from its pedestal. I played the original version of Sky Force for a long time. This version is much prettier, deeper, and more absorbing. I like the replayability of the various levels, the power up system, and the difficulty curve, which I think is just about perfect. I also like the fact that the game doesn’t force you to make in app purchases – if you get impatient, you can get them, but the game doesn’t force you to do so. Anyway, really, really wonderful game. Highly recommended!

Phenomenal. This game has surprising depth of content, challenging and fun missions, great graphics, and does not require you to spend more than a few dollars to fully enjoy it (buying ad removal and fast ship rebuilding are cheap and all you need to get full value, and they’re very reasonably priced). Multiple challenge types for each stage with diverse sets of enemies. Cannot recommend this enough, especially if you enjoy old arcade style shooters. Devs, any chance of content expansion for a few more dollars? Would love to see continued sets of upgrades, new levels, etc. Love it and thanks!

Giving Up !. I meant that I want to increase the levels of Health, Main Cannon, Wing Cannons, Magnet, Missiles, Laser, Energy Shield, and Mega Bomb, which are by my standards very low. I will increase the stars in my review, but I still would like to be able to increase the Ships levels, not just continuing the levels in the game. It doesn’t seem like it would be that hard to do. If everything could be raised to like 100. I would appreciate it very much. Really, still no updates, I would like to increase the levels of everything that I mentioned above a long time ago, you are risking getting removed from Apple’s store. Give us more to do !!!

Not so pay to play like every other game. With all the stupid games out there nowadays, you'll be lucky to find a game that keeps you entertained without having to pay lots of money for temporary buffs, I have spent maybe $8.00 on this game but you really only need to spend $4.00 to get the edge you need to not have an unbearable grind through this game like you do with some other games even after you've spent money on them, You don't even need to spend money to play this game but it makes it easier. We need more games of this type of dying breed of video games, keeps the player well entertained without the need for spending unrealistic amounts of money to get an edge.

Great arcade shooter. I love these sorts of games (Galaga, 1944, etc) and this is a great example. Your power increases incrementally, so you get a sense of progress while still being challenged on higher levels. It can get a little grindy—the easiest way to make it past some challenges is just to play previous stages over and over again to earn credits to power up your ship — but I continue to put a lot of time into it because it just hasn’t gotten stale.

Great fun levels and upgrades. I have enjoying the game. Can play for 10-15 mins and get some upgrades put it down and come back to play. It’s what’s an mobile shooting game should be. I would ask for just one option please. A way to turn off vibration please? I play at night while trying to calm down for the day in bed. The vibration when you get hit is a bit jarring. Would be nice to be able to turn it off sometimes. Thanks!

I need a third one. I love this game so much I’ve played it since It came out but I was only like 9 years old when it came out so I played it a few times over the years but now that I’m 15 I’m much better at the game and I was able to beat it and I played all the bonus levels and I really really want a third one to come out I’m just hear left with a giant cliff hanger. So please please infinite dreams I beg please make a third one even if I’m the only person that still plays sky force, please make a third one I bet lots of people would play a third one

Excellent shooter w a few minor adjustments needed. This game is gorgeous on the ipad. I really like this game and have spent a few bucks to remove ads. Very responsive and generally an enjoyable game. Just a couple of things I'd like tweaked for more enjoyment. First, it's difficult to activate power ups in the middle of a battle. Taking your finger off the screen slows down the game but doesnt completely pause it, so you can still get blown up trying to select something. Would prefer on screen buttons to tap. Also the charge shot should be engaged with a second finger anywhere on the screen instead of right next to your ship, since its difficult to do when holding an ipad. Those are just minor issues for me. This game is fun! Hours and hours already sunk in. Easy to recommend to anyone that likes shooters.

Even better than SkyForce 2014. As the headline states I have been playing this game since 2014, and it has only gotten better! It reminds me of the classic 1945 game which I think is also very fun, but it’s just so awesome how you can upgrade to so many different planes with different abilities, each suited perfectly for whatever you’re trying to achieve on any given stage! If you are a fan of airplane shooters then I suggest you give the original SkyForce and revamped a download!

A perfect sequel. This is pretty much exactly the same game as SF Anniversary, with some new maps, characters, etc, so if you enjoyed the first Sky Force, you will LOVE this game. The gameplay is superb, the sounds are amazing, the graphics are incredible, and it somehow still has the feel of older games like this where you would scroll a small plane across the screen blowing up the bad guys. And it’s compatible with old devices, so that’s pretty sweet. I hardly ever write reviews, but this game demanded one from me. 10/10.

Disappointed. How can you ruin such a well done game with poor shooting capabilities? While playing you collect a lot of “weapon upgrades” but they do absolutely nothing!!!??? I get the whole grind to build up your ship, but a good shooter gives you extra fire power then and there while playing (and uh... we collected them while flying????) (Look at Galaga Wars as an example!) Any game has to have a REWARD system in play, why have weapon upgrades you can collect that do nothing????? Fix!!! And I’ll purchase !!! I’ll change my review if I’m missing something here, but this games is a real let down in terms of fun-to-play. Yes it’s pretty! But pretty graphics is not enough.

Oops. Well, I was writing a long and detailed review of how many problems this beautiful game has in it, but it was deleted by dumb apple issues, so I'll just say this: simple gameplay, pretty graphics, crappy dialogue, entire level that is seemingly designed to be as unfun as possible, illogical defense systems, absurd amount of grinding for an ARCADE game, stupid "luck" mechanic, slow progression through uninteresting mechanics, some interesting ships, nothing that made me think "WOAH! THAT IS SO COOL!!" (like, for instance, the ENTIRE GAME portal 2, which all of you should definitely play even though it's over a decade old.) Would not play again.

The best mobile plane game. I like this game it is great for 13+ years old all the bosses is hard in insane mode except stage 1 the people that made this game should make more skyforce games like imagine if there was a skyforce reloaded 2 or 3 and the bosses will be harder then the ones in skyforce reloaded and skyforce 2014 and you will keep your planes and your upgrades for the planes and what if they add more upgrades the game will be so much better and that’s why I had give this game 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My addiction now has a name. I’d long since given up on phone games. Tired of angry birds, tiny wings and mindless repetitive grinding, I decided to just listen to music or read on the long train rides home. And then I downloaded this. It reminds me of some of my favorite plane shooters in the arcade and on Super Nintendo. The power up system is polished and seamless. The level of difficulty is perfect with enough challenge to keep me busy for hours. I also love how I am able to play this with one hand, a must for long train rides where I may be standing and holding onto a pole for balance. It’s great. I also like the option to turn down the in game volume so I can play while listening to my own music. This is an excellent game and I look forward to anything else from this stellar team. Amazing. Aaaaamazing.

Stunning!. Easily one of the best looking games in the App Store. The progression system is fantastic. Play for a couple minutes if that's all you have and you can easily collect stars, medals, ship parts and upgrades. The game ramps up difficulty to meet your upgraded capabilities in a wonderful way. As you learn the enemies and levels the challenge is always increasing but never seems unfair. If you can't meet a certain goal all you need to do is drop down a step, collect some stars, upgrade your capabilities and eventually you will be able to complete the challenge.

The best game I’ve ever played ( must read ). I’ve been playing this game for 4 years and it is not old or boring I haven’t seen or experienced 1 bug or glitch the game is fun entertaining and cool I haven’t beaten the game yet but there is a long way to go for me and that’s what makes it fun you go on adventures and explore there are so many things to do including ttournaments normal gameplay and different types of difficulty I would rate this game 10 out of 10 because it’s so good and thanks for making this game

The higher levels are so mind-numbingly difficult to beat that the game goes from being fun to maddening. Great arcade style plane shootin' game!. If you played Sky Force 2014, this is almost the exact same game, but with a lot of new features (and a new story and bosses). If you aren't familiar with SF2014, but are familiar with Galaga, you have found yourself a game that is similar, but with jets, planes, and tanks on Earth (or something Earthlike) rather than a ship flying around in outer space. Also iDreams just did an update on SF2014, so they're obviously still investing time in their old product, on top of this fantastic new "reloaded" game. Relating to SF2014: this also has Cards, but additionally there are "temporal" cards which give a 15 minute perk rather than a permanent upgrade. New features: a Trophy you can see of each boss you defeat, plus the attempts and date achieved for each difficulty; Technicians which stay with your ship and have different perks; 9 different ships to unlock (5 parts each, scattered around the Stages like Cards); a Prestige system that is akin to the Achievements, but are separate from that on GameCenter, and they unlock the Technicians; Sharing of several features (like the boss Trophies). Like I previously said, this is almost the same as SF2014 but with many new features. Imagine SF2014 was a 2 year Beta to figure out the basics, and this is the final product, where they tweaked existing features, and added a whole lot more!

Great game except…... Love the game, I highly recommend purchasing the star doubler to get rid of the ads and get upgrades much faster. The one issue I really have is that the progress does not sync across platforms, specifically from iPad to AppleTV and vice-versa. Really disappointing after you have a solid session of advancement on one platform and but the other is still where you left off last. Weirdly, purchases and Game Center data sync, but not the actual game advancement. I don’t really get it, I’m sure there’s some developer reason, but it’s just really too bad.

Awesome game. Second time I download it, this time in an iOS device, really good job. I’m only have a weird issue, as I’ve played a lot I no longer want to listen to the repetitive sound/music from the game I use to mute it and listen to some music instead, but when muting the game using headphones some sounds are not muted at all (pink plasma helicopters mainly and some bosses)

Can’t recommend this game enough. Sky force has always been one of my favourites, but this one trumps it all. I typically don’t like games with in app purchases. But this one does not break the game. I’ve purchased ad removal but I would happily pay more for this game. Such a solid package. Tons of replay value as you can play single map in 3 different difficulties. All I have to say to developers is keep doing what your doing. You clearly have found the sweet spot with this one.

Grinding In hell. I really enjoyed this game in the beginning, but then quickly found myself very addicted to getting all the upgrades. This sent me down a path of spending real money and wasting enormous amounts of time. It’s a great game IF you have a spare couple of years to complete it. I ended up buying it on steam also, it’s awesome.

Awesome. Best top down shooter!. If you like this type game than you will not be disappointed. Yes it looks good but that’s not why I rated it 5 stars, it’s the game play. It’s fun!. Upgrading is easy, all you need is stars that are easy to farm. The difficulty gradually gets harder with every level but you won’t hit any walls where you need to pay to progress. Higher levels are challenging but not impossible, just farm some stars and upgrade your weapons. Best thing is there are very few ads unlike many many many other games that are so called ‘free’. In app purchases are cheap compared to other games. I purchased the double stars earned for a few dollars because it speeds up upgrading and as a way of thanking the developers for not bombarding us with ads.

Not new but outstanding. Upgrading review now I have played this for a bit. This has become one of my favourite ever iOS games! I like these sort of shooters since arcade days. Best top down shooter I’ve played. Have been a fan of this game format for a long time and this game has continually impressed me in comparison to others. Easily the best looking one I’ve played. I make a point not to spend money on in-app purchases normally but after playing for a while I made some purchases and felt good about it as the developers certainly put the effort in and deserved every penny. Only second game I’ve ever spent money on.

Bit disappointed. I used to love this game and was stoked when I saw its already optimised for iPhone X. However, the speed / sensitivity or something just doesn’t feel the same?! Ship power maxes out way too early. One of the best things with this style of game is the building up of better and better weapons - you won’t get that in this game - even after you have all ships and all upgrades, you end up with a ship that just seems weak and gutless against the higher levels, and no further way to upgrade it. Was fun till it maxed out too early and then becomes sad.

The ultimate top down shmup!! 🙏. Skyforce has always been a great shooter. But this improves on everything they have ever done with the series. The rpg like upgrade system, multiple ships to collect and a card upgrade system that works across all ships all blend together perfectly 👌 there are in app purchases, but they really aren't necessary, as the levels are a blast to replay with 3 different levels of difficulty. I ended up purchasing the no-ads and double the stars to the tune of $6. Which in my humble opinion is a steal! This is my first review on the app store. I have never enjoyed a mobile game enough to write one. They all get old real quick. But this shall stay on my phone until I have unlocked and completed every single challenge! I have no doubt 👍👍

Best plane shooter game on the app store. Nothing compares to this game in its category. I have redownloaded it twice now on three different phones ober 9 years. It has always been a blast to play. I haven’t finished the game yet because i don’t play as often but I can say that the visuals are amazing and the visible upgrades to multiple features of the plane is incredible. Also, there are a lot of planes to unlock, each with its own advantage. I highly recommend getting this game.

Had fun with this game before, but with the stars required to upgrade stuff become ridiculous, and you will probably have to fly 10 times before you can upgrade the weapon, the game became essentially pay to play as its just crazy. For an old game, you should keep it light to let people actually finish the game easier, at least I’m not spending another dime to buy stars or anything, your game will be dead soon with this difficulty

Dissapointing. By all accounts this is a great game, excellent graphic, but, for some reaons, it rips you off. I start the game with 945 stars for example, then, i earn an additional 745 stars by defeating another level. You might think that i would find 1690 stars right! No, no ... no ... somehow my total number of stars is now 245 ... So, while it's a great game, getting my stars riped off really sucks!

Tweaks would be helpful.. Some good tweaks you should make possible for players to see stats during gameplay such as star collected and humans remaining/saved example 2/15. Also the tournaments shouldn’t require “friends” to access. Those tweaks would make this a 5 star game for sure.

Good game but…. Great game. Graphics are awesome. Soundtrack is awesome. But you get to a point in the game, right around level 7 that it’s hard to advance any further because you need so many medals. You end up spending hours and hours to get medals and eventually just throw in the towel. You still have 8 more levels to complete! My two cents anyways….

Solid. Let’s be real here. It’s a free game with ads. You can spend money, but they clearly designed the base game well enough that it’s very playable and fun. Is it perfect? No. The old arcade classics are a tough bar to climb to. But they do a good job here. Playing for a while and it has some great progression and fun elements that keep it playable.

Lasting Greatness. This is a highly polished game with an extremely FUN gameplay loop. It has an upgrade system that makes it rewarding each time you fly a mission. This game is definitely worth the price of the star doubler and ad removal IAPs. I also felt very comfortable purchasing the planes doubler IAP, which speeds up the little jet mechanics working to install the upgrades you buy with the collected star coins.

Just one problem. In the levels with the glowing boxes you have to get to the other side, there is no point to them it turns out. I spend a bunch of time trying to do it and then I get it to the other side. Nothing happened. Really annoying and weird. Also in the levels with the boxes, they shouldn’t have to go out the sides. If you coding this with JavaScript (probably not) you should maybe put in perimeters to the box’s X position. If it is at the position, it need to move away 10 X.

Awesome Game!. It’s totally worth it to spend the money and buy the upgrades! One of the few games left that allow you to get rid of the all of the adds. Also buying the upgrades in no way is unbalancing the game! Very challenging but not frustratingly so. Lots of satisfaction from achieving the goals. I highly recommend this game! Kudos for the developers!

New players can’t join tournament. The game is fun and has enough of a difficulty curve to keep it engaging. However, the app no longer supports Facebook connectivity, and tournaments require the app be linked to Facebook. So if you are new to this game, just understand that you won’t be playing in the tournament. Not a critique, but if the devs are reading this, it sure would be nice to have a means to find plane parts the same as we can search for cards!

My favorite game.. I really like this game because it offers a challenge without feeling that you can never win. There are not a lot of advertisements that pop up frequently making it difficult to enjoy. There are things that you can buy to enhance the game, but I would not say that the are essential. I have yet to run into a point where I cannot pass and continue along in the game as I gain skill and experience.

Very fun game, not a cash grab. Super fun vertical scrolling shooter with unique mechanics and upgrade system. It's very easy to farm the upgrades you need without spending any money, but I would at least suggest the 2x stars upgrade to cut farming in half and support the developers. The difficulty curve is excellent due to every level having 3 difficulty levels and 4 challenges per level. Overall a very fun free game that doesn't require and investment to play.

One of the most well-crafted games out there. Every detail of this game is so well done. The first time I played I thought it seemed a bit dull, but I stuck with it... very soon, the weapon upgrades and level of challenge made things much more interesting. Some of the later boss battles (the Omega!) are really intense. Great combination of upgrading plus real skill and practice are required to advance. The game has incredible depth and replay value. Kudos to these (Polish) developers!

This game has very good graphics for a mobile game pics are detailed and the game play is easy it’s addicting to play sometime an does get a little challenging that’s what makes it good because it’s easy to play but gets a little challenging some stages. Good balance. Fun game. Amazing graphics. Plan on spending $3-4 total off the bat. Get the star doubler and a 5000 to get a jump in weapon upgrades. Once I did that the progression was natural and I felt like spending even more $ would to upgrade weapons would be cheating. That said, the controls really need some refinement like a sensitivity adjust. I have to lift finger to move the plane across the screen and routinely fire off special powers when doing so...

Need more power options. Really interesting game and would love to play everyday. Only problem with the game is at some level in the game enemies are way more powerful than you ( fully loaded with all the options) and becomes impossible to complete mission at normal level so lost interest in playing this game. I have completed many game ( different ) in the past.

The only thing that I thing is wrong with this game is that there should be a button to turn off the voiceovers. They are kind of loud and distracting. Beautiful, simple, and increasingly challenging.... Very clean graphics and crisp responsive movement. A few little hiccups due to processing lag, but nothing critical. Increasingly challenging. You've got to work for your upgrades, but I think they balanced the progression well. BIG SMART PLUS = as soon as you take your finger off the screen, the game slows down to a crawl and you can completely pause it from there. Well done, developers and programmers!! =]

Best in series yet. Perfect old school shooter with modern additions make this the current greatest game of its genre on the App Store, period. If you haven't played it yet I also recommend the original, it's similar, with the difference being that this sequel has added various additions to this one, which make it undoubtably superior. Highly recommended for those who enjoy this type of game!

Sky force reload. The game is good but I shouldn't have to clean up all the other boards to continue 12 I have nothing but hardboard left that's not right I should be able to go to the next level 12 without finishing all the levels before level 12 it slow the game down The higher the level the harder the game more time anyway then I get a 10 time limit and you guys keep adding commercials on my time limit

Nice game but.... I like the game very much, but after recent update which opened level 13, game started crashing randomly losing stars earned also sometimes losing cards. Update : With latest version game has become worse. If game is paused and resume, plane disappears from the screen. Only remedy is to quit the game and will lose all your stars spent. Happened to lose so many stars with bugs like this. Wish I could attach screenshots.

As long as you have a Game Center account, once you run out of lives on your iPhone, go play on your iPad. Your lives will reset but all of your accomplishments will carry over to your iPad, and the same with Apple TV (the controls on the Apple TV are a little difficult, even with a controller). GET THIS GAME!!!

Fun challenge. I have already easily beat level 9 but it’s hard to get all the models for level 10 so I have been farming level 1 insane mode to get a ton of stars to buy a ton of upgrades I already have side shot for main cannon and it helped a lot, I also have only one plane left to unlock so I’m farming level 9 now.

Super Fun and Exciting!. This game is really a fun one and I can never stop playing! You don’t use real money, just the stuff you earn in the game. The only thing that I would change is that sometimes it can get super hard... but nothing you can’t handle if you upgrade your weapons. Then again, I am eleven. Even my mom asked if she could play the game, and got really good. 😝😀😍😉

Great concept, needs more balance. The game is fun but a little too difficult to progress especially when you lose at a level. I think the timer that makes a player wait an hour after losing screws both the player and developer. If monetization is wanted by the developer, make a person watch a video to continue or at least give more than one chance. This can make players discouraged easier and not play as much, thereby causing the developer to lose out on ad dollars. I'm just saying everyone could win with a different gave structure.

We’ll done. It’s a very difficult game, and we’ll put together. Sometimes it feels like a bit of a grind, but practicing a level many times to beat it is expected. Also, the prices are worth it, should you chose to spend money, you don’t have to spend much to make a big difference.

Great SHMUP!. While the mobile version will never play as well as the console and PC release of Sky Force, this is one solid shooter. I very much appreciate it’s gameplay that’s influenced by games like Raiden II/DX and Twin Cobra, instead of the over saturated number of bullet-hell titles. Simply put, Sky Force is tough, but certainly never feels impossible. Upgrades and bonuses become available so slowly, you’ll wish there were more maps or gameplay variants to explore. Fortunately, the content it has is quite polished and entertaining, allowing for easy memorization of each map layout. For everyone playing this on a mobile device, I highly recommend using a touch pen — removing that frustration of those unseen bullets sneaking behind your finger.

Broken with no 3D Touch. This game has been amazing. I am a high ranking player on the leaderboards and have beaten all levels on all difficulties. That being said, the game is just not playable at high levels without 3D Touch. The newer iPhones removed that functionality so there is no way to use the charge effects. These are essential on later levels. I would love to come back and play but with any newer iPhone it’s just not the same. There needs to be another way to activate the 3D Touch features without it. It’s really a shame because this was the only mobile game I played for years.

Needs some work. Hey all, It’s a fun game, but the rewards are pretty light. The upgrades are very pricey. Takes a lot of patience and the playing of the same levels over and over, to earn enough to get the upgrades. My opinion is this game is more worried about getting the players money, then the player having a good experience. I tend to delete games like this and move on. Other than that, it’s great!

Great value!!. I’ve played this game one two different devices and I can confidently say you don’t need to IAP to beat the game (although I highly recommend the start doubler for $2). So many games today punish FTP players or even players who spend money but aren’t whales. This game is a breath a fresh air and very well done. Keep an eye on this developers. They are one of the good ones.

Superlative shooter!!. Anyone who grew up playing shooters like 1942, Zaxxon or Xenon is going to love this game. If you didn’t, you’ll still love this game! The developers have taken an old game design and brought it kicking and screaming into the 21st century. Being a game developer myself I have to applaud with appreciation the visuals and the finely balanced game play. For me, this is the best game I’ve ever played on a mobile device.

Awesome game! Any updates?. Truly love this game. Love of my favorites, and very challenging, especially when they introduced the Nightmare levels. Just wish they were still updating it. Also, wish it was easier to add friends, because you can't do a tournament without other friends playing.

Wonderful game!. I am a fan of freemium games if I feel I COULD play without paying anything. That said I also have shelled out some coin on this one and felt just fine about it; I don’t feel the costs are exorbitant to make small improvements, and it is definitely increased my enjoyment of the game. This is a solid, well thought out game with lots of room for advancement; I love the fact that each level can be played in multiple difficulty levels with its own goals.

Great arcade style game. This is a really fun game, and has a nice balance of achievable progress without too many ads, and if you choose to pay for upgrades the prices are very reasonable and worthwhile but you don’t have to pay to win. It’s a pretty addictive game, lots to do in each level so it’s still fun to go back to competed levels to complete more goals. I like that this game is designed to be a fun game, rather than purely a revenue source for the developers.

Pretty good. I wanted to Really Really like this game, it’s actually very fun and challenging to upgrade your plane which is great. It has great replay ability. The reason I gave it three stars is because the plane moves too slow and it needs a “sensitivity option” to be able to move at your individual needs. And second reason is it doesn’t save your profile if you delete and the re-download the game, you have to start over. Those two fixed: it will be 5 star game.

Please do an update. I’ve been playing this game and SF14 since they came out. Hands down the best game of its kind I’ve ever played. I play it pretty much every day. I really would love a new update to these games. Hopefully idreams continues to either update these, or makes a new game similar. They’ve created a masterpiece.

LegitMichel777. Now first off I want to say, amazing game. The graphics are just stunning and the sounds are awesome. I like how the game is possible to complete without any IAP, and how certain cards can even do what the IAP does. I just got my ship maxed out and finished level 13. I did most of the nightmare ones and I'm in want of new levels. Will you add new levels? Because it'll be a bummer if there's no more levels to this amazing game.

So hooked. Gameplay is on point, tho a tiny bit choppy at times (even on the new iPhone 11). Graphics, sound design, and music are on point. I’m not a huge gamer but I’ve become mildly obsessed with this game. It’s great for just picking up your device, playing for a few minutes, then going back to what you were doing. Super fun!!

This is my favorite game on iPhone. Reminds me of the old arcade games but has really good graphics. Simple to learn and play ... unlike other so called “free games”, this one is totally free. You don’t need to get crazy upgrades (although you can buy stars and accelerate your progress). They have really put thought into the controls and the way the upgrades work . Sky force 2014 is also a great game ... love this game

Fun game nice graphics. I really enjoy this game and I have spent a few dollars because I feel it’s a game I will play for a long time. My only concern is that my weapons are nearing max level and I do not see the weapon improvements in relations to their cost. If it is taking 8500 stars for a upgrade it should not take 30 seconds of continuous firing for one tower. At this rate I am not sure I will be able to complete all levels and difficulties. Time will tell.

Thank you Infinite Dreams!!!. This is hands down the best scrolling shooter game on iOS, and possibly the best ever. I was a huge fan of SF 2014 and was delighted when I stumbled onto this sequel. Graphics are fantastic, gameplay is challenging yet fun (not so hard it discourages you from playing like some games), lots of plane/weapon upgrades and last but not least...the in-app purchases are VERY reasonably priced and not overwhelming. If you haven't downloaded this game yet DO IT NOW, and also get Sky Force 2014 too!

Best game in the store. Hawk freedom squadron brought me here, and am I glad it did. While hawk just ruined itself with that horrid update, sky force hits all the right spots with me, action, progression, depth. All well worth the price of admission. I refuse to spend money on developers that take advantage of its fan base like hawk did, so instead i help developers that are focused on gameplay. I already purchased all versions on all platforms, and got all iaps to support this awesomeness of a game!!

No New Updates & Still Way Too Punishing. Amazing game but it has been completely abandoned with no new updates in over a year. It’s a shame considering that the game is brutally hard. (Some new or enhanced power-ups would be a welcome addition.) IMO the developer needs to seriously provide additional firepower or defensive upgrades, even if it’s IAP content. I’m sure players would spend real money to upgrade a little further. I’ve read that the developer has gone out of business and that’s why there’s been no new upgrades and why they haven’t addressed the overly challenging play issues many players experience.

Best shooter game still in 2022. I downloaded a dozen of plane shooter games and tried all of them. This one is the only one keeps my interest to play and purchase stuff. I mean the money I spent is for my appreciation to the developers and I totally feel it worth. This game requires you practice and understand each map and makes you to push your limit in micro movement. It’s fun!

Super fun. I play at least once or twice a day. (This is my revised review.) This is the best arcade shooter on iOS. It takes full advantage of the power of my iPhone 7 plus hardware. And the result is a responsive, graphically charged, game that can be played in short burst, on a train plane or automobile, but also can get engaging for long sessions. I highly recommend this game. You don't need real money to advance but you will want to trust me. Very fun.

Amazing Game. The game is absolutely a banger, but your new advertisements are crashing the game and are 100% showing fake Instagram gameplay ads. As developers you should pay attention to that, those ads are so infuriating to players. So generated art and stolen videos of other games being attached to such an awesome product lumps you in with the dirtbags. But than that, this is a for sure download and play. 👍🏼👏🏼🔥good stuff, ty.

Great Game for Galaga Fans!!. This game is awesome. Great gameplay, and the graphics are great too for mobile. Plenty of content, and you don’t have to pay a dime if you don’t want to. Unobtrusive ads is a nice bonus, optionally you can pay a few dollars to remove them completely, but no big deal either way. I’ve put a pretty decent bit of time into the game and there’s still plenty to do!

Great game but difficult. The first game in this series was one of my all time favorite mobile games. It provided hours of entertainment. This, the sequel, is great too but even after buying the double star award it is very difficult to progress in the game. I had defeated every level at every difficulty (except the final level) last game but this game I can't even beat the easiest difficulty on the 10th level, or about halfway through the game. Thanks again for this game.

Quite possibly the best game ever made.. Bravo to you, developers! This game delivers hours of endless entertainment and wonderful challenge. When I’m done playing, I will have logged more hours into this than any AAA game I’ve played. I’ve beaten 1-12 on insane and just beat Omega on normal. The surprise to follow has me stunned!!! Level 1 has me begging for stars! I’ve invested maybe $7 into this game and would happily pay $60 for it. This game is that good. If you liked 1942 on the Nintendo or any games like it, this game will have you hooked! Every aspect is perfect; from building the planes to collecting the cards to upgrade your weapons, the content never ends. Bravo, and thank you!

What a great shmup. Graphics feel so real, yet the designs of the diverse cast of enemies make it feel like you’re battling a power unseen before by the modern world. A lot of thought was put into balancing the nine different ships and I can say that even in endgame each one serves an important purpose. I really recommend buying the star doubler IAP, it’s a good deal. The only complaint I have is that the music selection isn’t that large.

Awesome, even for a casual gamer. This a real cool app for a pass time, upgrades are reasonably priced, and don't take too long, even to speed up upgrade times isn't priced high. Love this game for once something that is super fun and not a pay to play, work done in the game is super rewarding with everything you can get, and even the optional in app purchases are a great price. Great game, a must have even for a casual gamer.

Amazing game but, please no lingerie ads!!!. The game is off the charts. Just the right amount of challenge, outstanding gameplay mechanics, and superb graphics. My only gripe is please lay off the lingerie ads, ok? I have a six year old daughter that plays the game with me. Thank you! Update: lowered my rating to four stars, not because of the game, but because of the lingerie ads. The age rating on this game is 9+. That means kids play this game. I’m absolutely sure you can dig up other advertisers that might be more appropriate. What do you guys think?

Paid for all content. I’d recommend buying all content. The pace at which things unlock at “double stars” seems about right, if not a little slow at that, so buying that and ad remover we’re worth it. Maybe not the planes generator. Either way, I’m happy to have spent 7 or 8 dollars on an extremely high quality and fun game. I’ve gotten 10 or so hours so far, looking for double that to beat it to the point where I’m happy.

Love it!!... justone little thing... Absolutely love this game I play it every day I do have one question though for the developer. I bought the upgrade that supposed to create new ships for me much faster than normal but I’m not noticing any difference at all in how quick I’m able to craft new ships.... Am I missing the bus on this? But like I said before fantastic game love this game

Best sequel ever. The first game was really good, but this game is even better. I like the option to choose different planes, and that they have different abilities and the such. The bosses and levels are just as cool and creative, and it is overall an extremely good game. Sure, there are a few ads, but it’s nothing like mobile games now. Highly recommend.
