Four Letters Five Stars. More challenging than I thought it would be. Good food for the brain. Doesn’t require large amounts of time. Great game!

Fun, challenging. You’d think having to spell words with four letters would be extremely easy, and at first it is, but then you have to go faster to beat the time. Really fun and a good mental exercise for your brain. The one thing I would incorporate into the game with a future update is a recall button to remove a misplaced letter from board.

So far, I see a new addiction!. I just started playing and I think that once my fingers defrost, I will be obsessed with this game! Right now, it’s great, but I believe that I am going to want to make the time goals and then on to filling in the secret section categories. Great game! Thanks...

It's good to play but maybe a little too hard. The Time gets faster and faster you're already struggling in the first few 😂 you can barely see what letters you'll need to put together with the time going so fast.

Mind Exercise!. Love it. You may seem to think Oh it is Easy and then your mind will go blank next. Nice way to exercise our vocabulary.

Awesome with one major flaw. I love this game. Put so many hours into it. Competing with my wife has been fun (and a little dangerous). But then it just failed to open no matter what I did. Restarts. Resets. Nothin. Had to delete and redownload. Since they do not use Gamcenter all of my data was gone too. 94 was my top score. Now it’s 56. :( Response to developer response: Nope. No they did not.

Harder than you’d think!. Love this game! Challenging, yet simple, it really makes you use your brain. There are also in-game challenges to complete that adds another layer of mind-bending fun! My husband and I are currently trying to see who can get the highest score.

Challenging, fast, fun. Unlike some games where you have tp play a lot ( and watch ads) before it gets hard, thus game is challenging immediately. And it has few or only short ads!

Abbreviations? Really?. I like this game a lot. It’s engaging to the mind. However, I was displeased when I was stumped by an abbreviation. I do not consider an abbreviation a true word, the way Scrabble does not. Therefore, abbreviations should not be a part of four letter words.

Quick interim game w kid. I appreciate the quick start to this game (quick ads) and being able to play w my 6 year old. It buys us time when we are in between activities. I help him find the words and he spells them

Unfair to use foreign and proper names. Not cool. This game uses proper names- like Ohio and foreign words like nada or kerb. This game is not typical of most word games where you are not allowed to use proper names or foreign words, like scrabble. I feel it is unfair to use both and I will probably delete this soon. Nada and kerb...really?! I have a few choice four letter words for the creators of four letters trying to gyp and trick us.

Keep you on your feet. Just started playing txt my kids we are always competing we love word games, I think they will really enjoy this one!!!

Be careful!. Once you get the hang of it,,, it becomes more addictive. It’s worth paying to get rid of the ads!

Great game. Very fun—a great premise and fun, endless time to improve one’s skills. However it is a little more difficult to select the letters for each word in this app than it is in other apps with the same premise. In other apps, I drag my finger to draw a line formation to “connect the dots” between each chronological letter to spell a word. If I want to start over spelling the word, I simply lift my fingers. It’s easier than picking one letter a time is, so that’s what I do, and it’s also what I’m used to. But when I make a mistake in spelling, I pause because I have to either tap each individual letter I’ve already spelled to erase it or I have to finish spelling a four letter attempt that I know won’t be correct, simply so I can more quickly start over, before time runs out.

Need a skip. This is a fun game, but I wanted more of the Wheel of Fortune tournament word games. There should be a way to play rivals, a way to skip, a way to re scramble and overall be more interactive.

Love the concept - Watch version response needs to be fixed. I love this game as an "easy" time killer. The concept is great and it's a lot of fun to play on the phone. The problem is that the response time on the watch is horrible. If you go slow to ensure your letters are selected correctly, you hit a letter - wait and nothing happens. Try again. No response. Try a third time, your letter is selected and boom - your time is up. If you go fast and just hit all the letters in order, sometimes it works and all the letters pop up all of a sudden after a couple of seconds and sometimes they don't. Sometimes, the timer doesn't even start by the time I've entered a word. The responsiveness is fine on the phone, but horrible on the app. I go fom a high score of 43 on the phone to a high of 20 on the watch. Needs some work in this area.

Anyone Elses App Auto Closing?. I have the most current version of 'Four' (and my Apple X Is current also) and when I open this app it seems like it'll load but after a few seconds, it makes an audible crackle noise and then appears to close completely but it runs in the background. When attempting to re access it happens again as above.

Quick and fun.. It doesn't take long to lose, but it is a fun, quick game to play.

If have a slow brain good luck !. It is the most funnest game if your looking for a hard games that would keep you occupied! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Perfect Mind Enchanting. I like games with some speed helps you to think fast especially when your considered by the young folks has being old. Sight words should always be easy to think of at any age! Take that generation x🐵🙈🙉

Think quickly. This game is quick and challenging. Makes your brain up.

Missing words. Pretty cool, but the game is missing common Scrabble words like “eath” and “kish”. Yes it’s easy to make “hate” and “sikh” instead, but it would be nice to make legit words when I’m going fast and have the game recognize them.

Great, could be a series?. Very addictive, maybe add a frenzy mode or something. Where you increase and decrease the number or letters for each solve you get. So it could go from 4 letters to 5 to 7 back to 4 then to six or whatever.

Good Game For Children.. Wish there were versions with in the game that has no time limit and also other kind of word games.

Fast, fun, engaging. Play a round or two before you run off the school or work, play it when you get home and you’re relaxing, play it on your day off... I play all the time! Very fun game with a very easy-to-grasp premise. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Super fun but a few quirks. This is such a fun game that is easy to get the hang of! However, it is frustrating when actual words do not count (ex. exon) but places or acronyms do (ex, utah, asap).

Fun and addictive. I can't get enough of this game. It seems simple enough—four-letter words are easy, right?—but the time limit keeps it challenging. Be warned, though, that this game doesn't follow the typical word game rules: some of the words you're searching for are proper nouns (Iowa, for example).

Easy but always presents an addictive challenge. A really easy game to play and and enjoy. Constantly challenges you to improve but is fun at the same time.

Suggestion & Most Recent Update Issue. I have a suggestion for a new game mode: Instead of time, you go until you get a word wrong. The timer speeds up the more points you earn, eventually it gets so fast that you don't have time to select all of the letters, even if the timer is a full circle. I am not sure, but it seems faster than it was in the previous version. Update Issue, Please Fix: After the most recent update, new words you discover don't show up at the top, you have to go through all of the pages to find them. It would be nice to have them show up at the top again.

Seems great. I only just got this game do it seems premature to ask me to review it, but so far it seems great. I’m hoping to find a pause button so I can interrupt play when needed, but so far I haven’t. That’s the only thing I can think of for now.

Disappointed. Got it today and after one go on the watch and another one on the phone it keeps shutting down on my iPhone... too bad

Ad free should mean ad free. I paid to remove the ads mostly due to the fact I found this game incredibly engrossing and wanted to reward the developers for that. However, I find it incredibly annoying that I get asked to either like them on FB or turn notifications on between every turn. It might not be external advertising but it is still advertising. So I am not happy with that aspect of their business model!

It doesn’t work on iPhone X.... but still works on Watch, though a bit glitchy after playing a couple rounds.

Playing for ten minutes- no ads 😃yay!. As advertised, easy to learn, hard to master. Very addictive - just tap four letters in order to make a word, do as many as you can before times up. I have yet to see an in game purchase or an ad. Reminds me of that blissful time when apps were new and such things didn't exist. My only complaint- my arm hurts!

Nerve racking. The pressure! Fun, but I get nervous trying to beat my best score. Some of the letters seem repetitive, appearing in each new game you start after you have bombed out. Definitely worth downloading and having a few attempts a day - then you just get annoyed that you can't beat your personal best, and give up until the next day.

Addictive and fun. This is a nice fun little game based on a very simple premise. It's a good time waster but it would be better if we could see the possible words after the timer runs out instead of just one of them.

Moai: enormous statue on Easter island???. How is that a frikken word? My highest is 169 because they will always throw out some stupid name (not word) of something you’re unfamiliar with stopping you from progressing it’s whack

Horrible ads!. This was my favourite game for the pass few months. However today I found out that they have incorporated ads which automatically plays video even while in game which does not pauses the game thus when the ads finishes, the game is over. And it does not stop at once. The video ads keeps reappearing. Very very disappointing

Facebook. A great game overall and addictive however there are some issues with facebook connectivity and i am unable to see my friends high score's. Please fix this!!

Better.. This version is far better than the last. The swipe function makes for a much smoother game experience. However, my main concern is still with the dictionary. Being as fast paced as this game is you don't have much time to bounce back from making an error. I just lost a game because it wouldn't accept IRES. And prior to that KINS/CINE. They are both perfectly fine and playable English words. Perhaps the implementation of a 'suggest' or 'report word' function would be handy for this kind of thing. Look forward to seeing future updates.

Fun. This game is sooooo addictive and fun. I haven't had this long and I'm already addicted, and I recommend this game to someone who needs something to get their brain out of lazy mode 😉

Addictive. Yet another PikPok game that grabs you swiftly and does not let go. My only concern is the amount of American words in the game dictionary that I have missed so far. And a couple I just guessed which turned out to be correct. I thought my vocabulary was pretty good previously. Maybe not. Anyway, it's free, the games go swiftly and it is enjoyable to play. Excellent app that has that "one more go" itch that just has to scratched.

Brilliant!. This game is well-made, simplistic and challenging. Testing one's reflexes and sharpening vocabulary recall [is that phrase right?] – Four Letters is a must. Even if you find it a bit too difficult at first, you can keep playing over and over again, tapping the words out ever faster.

Bad update. I love this game and been playing it for a while but I don't like the new update. It freezes all the time. I'm with the latest iOS 8.3. Had no problem with it before it was smooth when you tap on the letters but not anymore for now. I tried to turn off my phone and on again but it seems like that's not the solution. Appreciate much if you could fix it and I still love this game.

Addictive. Fun, simple and addictive. Areas for improvement: Add a global leaderboard Fix the sometimes laggy behaviour when going to the next word, this is irritating when you're trying to be quick.

Words!!!!. This is a good game so far as I haven't played that many games,I like word games this may be my 2nd favourite,if you don't like this game check out Wordly! or check out my review and everyone else's and you will see what I mean.

My new addiction. I think I'm going to be wasting a lot more time! This is simple but brilliant and playing against yourself provides all the excitement you need. You just have to keep playing until you beat your personal best. I'd prefer it if they had different backgrounds because it's not the best if you're visually impaired and I hope they see this and take it into account. It's still awesome!

Addictives. Very fun! The timer keeps you going!

Built to frustrate. It’s a fun game you can get hooked on. However, it’s made to frustrate. There is a depleting bar that serves as a timer. When it hits zero it’s game over. You have around 15 seconds to start. Every word made adds time to the bar, roughly 4 seconds to start. As the game progresses you have less and less time to form a word and the words you form add fewer seconds. The bar itself represents the full timer, so, as you advance you end up having fewer than 3 sec. to finish a word as the words you make full the bar for less than 3 seconds. To make matters worst, an algorithm feeds you words you haven’t completed towards the end of the timer and remixes those you have seen at the beginning meaning you will fail no matter what and your longer play times will be at a fresh install. I’ve had fun, but will delete and not play again.

Am I an idiot?. Played 5 games and got a high score of 53, my youngest brother played once and got 97. I am an idiot. 11/10 would play again.

Game is fun, ads are horrible. This game is really fun but the ads are super obnoxious and annoying. I understand you have to have them in order to get people to pay for the ad free version but they don't have to be so in your face and long.

Intelligent speed game. This is one of the few word games which challenges your vocabulary and your ability to recognize words quickly. I love that it speeds up as you go along. - even a great round only takes a few minutes to play, instead of just dragging on at a pace to still include the slowest of players.

Mispelled words.... I like this game. But I hate the misspelled and foreign words in it!! This last one though really got to me. KERB- it's supposed to be CURB! If this area could be corrected it would be great. Then I would LOVE it!
