Truly the worst update ever. I used to love this game. The mechanics were perfect, fun and quick to play, you could make some pretty cool shots. Then they updated the game and it’s unplayable. The flicking mechanic is totally different, mainly the sensitivity being way too high. You can’t control your shots at all, so there’s no nuance and the ball doesn’t always follow the direction you flicked. Every few weeks I check back hoping they’ve reverted to the original version, but for some reason they’ve kept the game in a worse state.

3 more days.... This is a fun and simple game that I really enjoy with upgrades and customizations that make it even more fun. I was just 3 days away from upgrading to the pro ball when I missed playing by 30 minutes and now I have to start the 30-day cycle over. So when you’re really only playing for the upgrades, having to restart the cycle makes it not worth the time.

Update ruined physics. Like many have said, developers completely ruined this game with the update. Not fun when you have no control over where your shot goes. Deleting.

Terrible Update Ruined Game. This used to be a fun time killer. You could precisely flick the ball between defenders and into the goal. They changed it so you no longer have any control of the ball and it wildly flies off the screen or over the goal post. Disappointing.

Fun. Good way to waste time at the office

Buggy. Around the 80th kick there are a handful of levels that are bugged. Swiping the screen to the right has no effect and the ball will only kick if you swipe towards the left, making the goal basically impossible

This used to be my favorite game. They updated it and literally broke it. The shooting physics are ruined. Almost unplayable, every aspect of the game that made it good, has been changed for some unbeknown reason

Was awesome. Until reboot last week. Now no control of the ball. Totally blows. Don’t waste your time.

Bad control. I have it still on my iPhone 5s. Such a nice game with easy kick control. Now after installing it on my iPhone 13 Pro, the game is awful. The kick control is out of control. The developer never replied to my emails regarding that problem. It’s a shame, you can’t even kick the ball straight, it will go to any direction. You don’t have control like before.

Purchases Don’t Remove Ads. I purchased an in-game item to remove ads but they are still displayed. Would refund the purchase if I could, app should be updated to remove them for paying customers or to let people know that the ads will still exist after purchase so they can choose whether or not it’s worth it.

They changed a great game. Me and my brother used to play this game all the time and compete for a better score. All of that changed today when we tried to play and the ball was curving uncontrollably and going way higher and wider than normal. The old game was way better.

You ruined the game with the changes. With the new changes it’s harder to control where the ball goes and in some of the modes the new view movement almost makes me nauseous. Before I loved the game but now it’s ruined. Please put it back the way it was.

The best one. Had fullfat’s soccer game, which is similar to this one. Decided to give this one a try. Glad I did - it’s way better and more fun. Fullfat gone, Pik Pok in.

The update ruined my favorite game 😭. This used to be my favorite iPhone game, the update ruined the handling. The flick-to-shoot calibration used to be perfectly sensitive to shoot an intuitive shot. Now it’s more of a generic preset reaction to straight and curved shots, which takes out all the fun of the skill. So disappointing, I hope they change it back.

What happened. Gameplay is now clunky and inaccurate. Change back please.

GOAT. I used to play this game all the time years ago and finally found it again. So glad it is still on the App Store!! Love it so much. 10/10 would recommend!

Remove Ads?. I used to play this all the time back in the day. Recently redownloaded it only to find ads being thrown in my face. Is there not a way to remove these? Even through paid means? Quickest way to have me uninstall your app is to handle it like this.

Update is bad. It used to be a great game because it curved as much as you wanted it to. But now after the update it curves so unbelievably much with a tiny little flick and there’s no in between from that to kicking it absolutely straight. Bad mechanics. Please put it back.

Flick Kick. It should let you accumulate more than 3 lifes. Other than that excellent game.

Ruined. This new update completely ruined this game. Probably the only game I actually played on my iPhone and you can’t even kick the ball into a skill zone anymore, probably worth deleting now unless a new update comes and brings back the old version.

New update.... What the hell is this new update?? The ball never goes where I want it to... the screen moves up and down... the ball moves extremely slow... don’t like it anymore.

Fun for a while. It’s an easy mindless game, which is fine if that’s what you’re going for. Main reason I stopped playing was the extremely annoying slow motion parts you have to watch on successful shots and misses.

Broken physics. This used to me a fantastic game for years but at some point the last months the developers changed/broke the ball physics completely. I can’t even describe how bad they are now. If a single person of their team had tested these new physics they would have noticed it’s unplayable now. It’s a joke compared to the old physics. They’re so bad, you feel like some intern wanted to troll and messed up all the math in the codebase und secret. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD PHYSICS

Used to be good. The original version of this game years ago was great. Somewhere along the line they messed with the physics of the ball and killed all the fun. Now the ball just slices all over the place. Too bad

From Best to Worst 😪. This game was one of the greatest games on the App Store tbh. But they randomly updated it, changing the physics of the ball. And the update saying they tweaked it to be like the original again is a lie. The physics used to be so smooth and consistent but now it’s butchered. You can swipe the exact same motion and the ball will not make the same maneuver. One of the greatest games on here, but it’s trash now.

Horrible. What the heck did they do the game? There is no way to control the ball, it just goes flying. It’s not even playable anymore.

Awesome. I know this an oldie at this point, but I’ve had this game on multiple iPhones over the years and absolutely love it! Arcade, Skill Zone, and Bullseye modes are all unique challenges. I constantly find myself playing this game whenever I have time to kill. It would be cool to have an update now that Game Center is disabled, but overall game play and responsiveness is above average. Well done whoever made this game! One of my all time favorites!

GO BACK TO THE ILD UPDATE. This was the only game on my phone and now it’s ruined because the update makes the flick 20X more sensitive and doesn’t play anything like it did before

Update ruined the game!. Used to be my favorite iphone game but is now ruined! Had not played in over a year and just re downloaded the game to bring back the memories! The shots are completely uncalibrated. The most simple of shots are now misses. Flicking from long distance and aiming at the corners used to be fun and tactical, and now is just a mess all throughout. I hope they bring back the game we all fell in love with. Will not be playing again anytime soon. I’ll try again in another year.

Was great now 🤮. Update 2: August 8. They say they fixed the game, but it’s still not right. The ball just flies too wide and too high a lot easier, is the only difference I see. It’s still nothing like before the big change. Update: the update of 7/2 didn’t fix the game play. Ugh. Will delete if the next update doesn’t fix this, but not holding my breath. What in the world did you devs do to the game? It’s ruined. Kicking doesn’t work and the graphics look worse. Ugh. If you had to add more ads, I get it, even if I don’t like it, but why cripple the mechanics of the actual game play? In the immortal words of Regina Belle, “Make It Like It Was”! (In the meantime, I’m glad I didn’t update on my iPad yet. I wish I had read the reviews first on my iPhone.)

Fun game, bad IT. Played arcade got up to around 413 beat my highscore of 260 paused the game to take a break open it again crashed and my high score is now again 260. Completely lost the will to play.

New update is trash. I’m not sure what you guys did to the ball mechanics in the latest update, but it feels nearly impossible to curve a ball now. The feeling of flicking the ball is now almost entirely unpredictable and has ultimately ruined the satisfaction and ease of playing this game. Revert back to the old mechanics and I think a lot of your oldest fans will keep coming back to this game.

Adds cause lag!. The game is highly addictive, and yes I am all for adds if it is a free version. However, the adds cause lag to the point that it affects your kicks and makes every 3rd or so shot a waste whenever the adds show!! If the adds didn't disrupt the game, 5 stars. Otherwise consider the app deleted

CRASHING!!. This game is unbelievably good but, it keeps on crashing, making is absolutely useless to download, once this bug is fixed it's a definite top 25 game!!

Same fundamental game. Not much has changed since the previous game Flick Kick. Lack of iPhone 5 support is pretty disappointing for a "new" game as well. All the devs have done is repackage the game with microtransactions and insert a permanent ad at the top of the screen.

Flick kick football. The recent update has lagged the game. The ball will often jitter through the air & hard to steer thus hitting the objects or posts to lose lives or time in the various gaming modes.

The Soccer Ball. Hello Flick Kick something concerns me that every time I exit, close it running and reopening it my ball switches back to the default ball. I had the Italian ball and switches back to default. I hope you fix it, my regards to you.

Ads are ridiculous. I don't mind ads, I get to play for free because they are there. But to have full screen ads popping up mid game whilst I'm playing, interrupting said game... it's a bit much.

Arcade. Not as good as used to be. Ball naturally wants to curl right when i shoot straight and has significantly more power than what I used

Rubbish game. Probably one of the poorer flick sports games. It feels sluggish, it has poor accuracy with regards to touch tracking, and it has full video adverts in it. Don't bother with it.

Completely Ruined..... I want to preface this review by saying that I rarely ever write a review for anything. I’ve been playing this game regularly ever since I bought my first iPhone (4). Even when I would get away from it for a while, it was one of the only few games I knew I would always eventually come back to; even if it was just to play one or two rounds of Skillshot. It had such an addictive and enjoyable quality to it. Controls were tight and intuitive and challenging myself to top my high score was always a blast. This game hadn’t seen any significant update in years, and honestly that was fine. Yes, the visuals were a little dated, game modes were basic and the resolution was not optimized for newer screens, but the foundation was solid! Always great to just pick up and play. Now what I’m about to say comes from a place of love for all the joy this game has given me over the years. This new update absolutely ruined this game. It is completely broken. The ball now feels like it’s made of lead, the controls feel like old Tiger handhelds, and the curving mechanic has plummeted off a cliff; it’s overtly sensitive, to the point of it making the game unplayable. The graphical updates are great, and the game looks a lot more polished with a better resolution and smoother animations. But what good is the new look if the game is just so bad now?? I don’t know what the devs were going for here, but this can’t be it. If anyone associated with this game is reading this, I implore you to revert back to the old mechanics. Do right by the people who have loved this game for years! -Long Time Fan

Good game. Good game but opponents on multiplayer often quit a lot. you wait sometimes 2 to 3 minutes for an auto match and if your winning they quit. lots of poor sports I guess.

Game Crashes. On Arcade mode, the game crashes at around round 84. Usually the corner kick shot.

Was Good, Now Unplayable on iPad. Eliminated controlled bending, removed control of rise. Now an unplayable game on iPad. A big loss!

Achievements not updating. The game is fun and takes a while to master. There are a few achievements in gamecenter that do not update even after reaching the milestone multiple times. there are a bunch with 0 points ?? And yes the number of ads each session do get annoying

It's ok. The flick to transition between menus is an absolute mess. I also understand why you would have those speech bubbles for your first game, but when they pop up every single time you play it, it gets really annoying. And why would you want to put a speech bubble that's supposed to help you OVER the ball so you can't even see what you're doing. It's dumb. Really dumb.

Arcade idea. I live this game, however I wish their was an option besides customize and play agin after you loose on arcade. I wish their was a tab titled practice and once you click it it takes you to the level you lost in.

Used to love this game. Latest update all but destroyed this game for me on ipad2 running ios6. This has been my GoTo time waster game for a couple of months now but this last update stinks. Flick motion is roughly 1/2 as sensitive as it used to be and the graphics are approaching flickering. Definitely not nearly as responsive as it used to be. After playing a couple of games after the update, I am now unlikely to open this game again. Horrible update for ipad2. Do not download until they fix.

The Game is Okay. Everytime I curve the Ball it only goes in the second direction I swipe in so I usually lose lives because of that... Just fix that and it'll be better already.

Great Game; Bug Fixes. I Love this game, but when I exit a game mode—for example Practice Mode—I'll press the "Exit to Menu" button, and the game quits. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but it needs to be fixed. Otherwise, a very addicting game!

Incompetent. I love the original FKF, yet this game is a huge letdown. This wholly-separate game hasn't been resized to fit the iPhone 5 screen, so you're given black bars and iAds at the top and bottom instead. It claims to be for retina screens, but you'd be hard-pressed to see any appreciable increase in graphical quality. This revision is most certainly inferior to previous releases.

Can't close ads. Shows full screen ads for other apps such as candy crush which have an x to close but doesn't work. They want you to click the ads every 30 seconds to keep playing because... eff you, that's why.

Fun game but too many ads. The game is fun and challenging at first until you've become familiar with the swipe sensitivity on ball direction. BUT there are just too many pop up ads that interrupt the play. Hard to practice when ads come up after every round. All considered I enjoy the game.
