Not worth the price... It works but im not really happy for the price. this app should be $1 or free.. It should been great if they have access to the photos too..

Broken app.. Connected to two different bridges but not responsive, doesn’t change the colours along with the tv, but it does change the color when you press on the light button in the setting, only one colour. Step up developers. The app used to be working fine last year.

Stay away. Won't connect to network and nothing in options to make it connect.uses only front camera which doesn't work for iPad with a case as it only tilts Down

Works but missing key feature. Compared to the rest of the apps that are supposed to do the same thing, this app actually works (Make sure your lights are on and sync to the bridge). What would make this a killer app is if you could designate the corners of the tv to separate lights (like zones), in order to have a more accurate ambient light at each corner of the tv.

Stupid. Cannot connect to bridge. Like this app is just designed to take your money. No effort is put in even.

Expensive app but it works. Great experience I wish I didn't have to buy the app to do it (come on Phillips) but glad it's available and it works.

DON'T BUY THIS APP. The developer bailed on it 11 months ago. It'll work once then never again. Had to delete and redownload it to get it to connect again.

Well designed. Easy to use and has good brightness, colour shift speed and saturation adjustment options. Keeps up with fast paced shows no problem.

Simple, quick to set up, works well. Great little app. Does exactly what it claims with no fuss. I'm not sure how practical it is to keep my phone pointed at the TV but it'a fun to be able to just sample a colour e.g. point the phone at a sunset etc.

Eh. No refocusing on tap for the camera, and the lights appear unsaturated and washed out for some bizarre reason...

$4 Scam. I should have paid attention to other reviewers. App won’t find my bridge (which works just fine with hue app and HomeKit BTW). Even the support can’t seem to find a connection on my 400mb down Eero WiFi network. I wish zero stars was an option.

Horrible. If you like watching movies while pointing your phone at your TV the whole time then this is the app for you. If you stop pointing your camera at the TV it just stays one color. Waste of money and time.

Looks nice, can’t find bridge so it does not work. App cycles through searching for bridge and connecting to bridge but does neither. Try to use the feedback and support link, which is also broken (won’t connect). Is this abandoned?

Camera app stopped after bridge update!. Hue camera has not been keeping up with the Philips hue Bridge updates. After the last bridge update to the bridge this app stopped working.

kennydyno. I can not even add lights. There is no option to add bridge and when i tap the bridge button nothing happens. A total waste of money.

Doesnt work properly. The lights have a huge delay, and sometimes it seems like its just showing random colors. Don't recommend, I would like a refund.

Terrible!. Don't waste your money. When the app worked it was very inconsistent and due to the latest bridge update it doesn't work at all.

It's broken. The effect is very nice, when it works. Frankly, the app is broken. It regularly forgets the bridge and requires a reinstall with no option to locate the bridge. Stay away until fixed, not worth the trouble at this time.

I want to watch on the tv not the app. Screen should go to sleep - I don’t want to watch the app screen and the tv

Waste of money. This app does a horrible job identifying colors. I had it aimed at a TV and it only showed different intensities of white light. It was slow to change and lagged a second behind what was on the camera.

Doesn’t work. Doesn’t find any hue bridge, just says connecting and searching over and over. Also your feedback link is not working. Please help.

Doesn’t work!. App doesn’t link to hub and seller/developer Erwin Zwart doesn’t respond to email, Twitter or instagram. I hope nothing bad has happy to him! Apple will not refund the cost! No surprise there. They allow anyone to post an app without inspection. Caveat Emptor.

Mostly Great but no longer works at all. The app used to work. But then the phone, hue, everything got updated. And this app did not. So now it does not work, at all. It was great when it did work.

love it!!!. to get the best out of the app make sure, when you have your phone pointed at the tv, to use pinching the screen to adjust the zoom, so that the tv fills the whole screen on your phone! awesome show, great job!!!! 👌😜

So close but needs work. Should be free for a variety of reasons. One being that the app does really work unless your pointing the phone at the tv. I repeat, your phone has to aim at the tv. This app should be free for this joke of a process to work.

Doesn’t find bridge. The app will not find my Hue bridge. I have the bridge on a static IP address, but this app will not let you enter a static address fro the Hue app, so it is just looking, but not finding. Same with the shortcut to feedback support for this app, it just thanks for my patience while it is connecting, but it never does connect. Not worth it, just a waste of time.

DO NOT BUY - Doesn’t work. Purchased app, it keeps saying searching for bridge while I have many lights and plenty of other apps which all work just fine. I’ve reached out to their support and through Facebook but have received 0 response. Save yourself and don’t buy this useless app.

There's a better option now. This app hasn't been updated in a year. It could be better. Another app out there called hue TV allows you to focus in and draw a square around the TV you want to watch. It also gets updates. Don't waste your money on this old app.

Huge Let Down!. Very disappointed with this app. The lights change quickly with the tv but the colors are not even close to what's on the screen. Dark Screen=Bright White Light? Wasted money on this one. Hopefully something functional is out there.

App won’t discover my bridge. I have numerous other hue apps that discover and work with my bridge just fine, but this app does not find it. Just endless “searching” and no way to manually enter the IP.

Needs to be reinstalled before every use. Works great. Disconnects from bridge on second startup. I have to uninstall and reinstall then connect every time. Annoying. Running on iPad mini

Not working with my iPhone X or 11 pro. Bought this app after getting some hue play lights and looking forward to movie night. The app does not connect to my hub. I’ve been trying for about five days to get it right. Can I get some suggestions on how to make this work? Thanks Chandler

Does not connect to bridge. I bought the app last December and used it only a couple times. After the hue bridge update, it stopped working and says can not find network. I'm not alone in this problem. When will you fix it?

Not as advertised. I've emailed the developer about how bad the app is with no reply thus far. I didn't realize it only works in portrait orientation and there's no option to zoom in on the TV. I'm very disappointed and want a refund!

Can't use front camera??. Makes it very difficult to line it up with your tv on IPads.

Wow is this really just a scam?. Don’t waste your time or money. There’s no customer support and it won’t even connect to my hub. I don’t know how this has so many positive reviews when it’s just a garbage app.

Camera Orientation. The camera orientation on my iPad Air 2 is very buggy, they definitely need to fix that! But I do like how you can change the brightness of the lights now!

Doesn't Work After Update. I used this app successfully for at least six months. Unfortunately, after the most recent bridge update, the app no longer works. It will not connect to the bridge. If your Hue bridge software is up-to-date do not purchase this app.

Doesnt connect to the hub. The app just says searching for hub but never connects. The Hue app has no problems controlling the lights from the application so there are no issues with the hub.

Great App. Pretty awesome, only rec would be to also have a dimmer switch to control brightness of the lights. That would take this app from great to prefect

Really bad. Messed up every setting I had in hue. Do not launch this app you will have to reset your entire hue system from scratch as it will disable your lights

Can’t find bridge. :-( I would like my money back. You would think for a paid app past issues would have been fixed.

If it would connect to the bridge this would be cool.. I tried just about everything I know to get it to connect to the bridge. iPhone 11 . I would like a refund . If you had a support page or a note that states what os and bridge rev it works with. Good luck getting it fixed.

Love it. I just deleted the app and reinstalled it and it works great now. I think this works well with my new Hue bridge and use it a lot when I'm gaming. No complaints, I'd just like to see more bells and whistles.
