Cave worms !!!. This game had me hooked from the moment I saw the "get" button. It is fun and has a easy yet addictive theme this in addition to the upgrades makes it everything I love in a pocket game... however the "get" button is just a clever camouflage, you see there are 12 possible upgradable sections to your ship however only the 4 most basic and boring upgrades are available in the free version and frankly $3.00 is very expensive for what this game has to offer. If it was $.99 I would have paid for it in a heartbeat but everybody's different. I would have rated this game at 5 stars like it asked me to if it wasn't for the price.

Would have been 5 stars, but.... Normally, I would have rated 5 stars on this brilliant game. It is fun, addicting, and a great game all around, but it has committed an unforgivable monstrosity in my book. Now, obviously, it has ads. I'm fine with that, it's a free game. What is wrong with this is every once in a while, it will play a video where you have to watch 5 seconds of it before the X shows up to close it. 5 seconds is no big deal, right? Wrong. It makes you watch the whole video before the X does anything, which angers me so immensely I took the effort to write this review. I mean, at least don't lie about when you can close the ad and put the full time in there. None of the other BSS games do this, which makes this so much worse. And it happened twice so far, so it wasn't a one time glitch. Fix this problem, and I will come back and give the game 5 stars. But until then, this game doesn't deserve it.

Amazing. Just like every BScotch game, Flop Rocket is full of fun, rewarding gameplay coupled with detailed, smooth graphics and a cool atmosphere.

Fun but a few things..... I love this game except for one thing I don't want to pay $3 sorry I'm cheap ): besides that I love it especially the controls music is cool and the concept of it is very fun but getting to space without buttering up is in my opinion almost impossible I can't even make it to 1000 meters and I'm the best out of all of my friends at this and my buddy and I keep agreeing that not everyone can butter up its just not fair besides all that this is one of the best games ever and I still wonder why it's not top ten in the App Store But remember this is just my opinion😇😇😇 Wait this is pay to win? Deleting right now might as well make it cost $3 on the App Store I cry every time

Surprisingly fun. I first thought this was yet another flappy clone with the only gameplay being to control your squirrelly ship but the constant stream of upgrades keeps it interesting. You won't be able to actually shoot back until you buy the IAP however. Better than I initially thought upon first play. Give it a try

updated in game music. I'd give it 4 stars if not for the new music. I played this game before the update for a few reasons. 1: it's simple and entertaining 2: the music helped me relax and enjoy goofing off whilst careening into stalagmites. the new updated in game music is highly irritating and just throws everything off. I no longer enjoy even playing the game. please either make an option in the settings menu to switch between music, or simply change the music back to what it was before. thanks

Awesome game. Don't think this game is just about avoiding enemies as you struggle with the wonky controls. The controls become second nature and are fantastic. You can feel fully in control for the longest time and then... oops. Once you buy the game you get massive firepower for you ship and THEN you feel the mayhem and general design brilliance. Make no mistake... This is an awesome title.

Flop that ship to spaaaaaace!. This was my gateway game to the BS studio. I really enjoyed the simple challenge of the game. The controls take a moment to figure out but feel intuitive once you figure it out. As for game mechanics, it's pretty simple in the best way possible. Fly through the cavern and dodge everything. For a free game this is worth time spent on it.

Cant go wrong.. You can't go wrong with Butterscotch games, they do them the right way. try it then buy it, not try it then buy it, then buy it again (and again) till we have all your money. I recommend all of there games cause there flat out fun and 2.99 is the most you'll have to pay to ever get their full experience

Turned into a Flop on iPhone X. Resolution is no good on iPhoneX. You can’t see the fuel pads because the top and bottom of screen is hidden due to game Rez auto filling the screen. Pls fix.

Another great Butterscotch game!. I absolutely love this game! I normally don't review, but I think this game just deserves it. The game has good but hard to get used to controls, and is quite challenging at times. You have obstacles to dodge varying in all sizes and there's some enemies along with them. You can do mission to get "juice" which you can use to get power ups during a run. There's much more to the game, but I'll let you find out the rest!

Awesome game. This game is so addicting I hope they keep updating it I have only been playing for less then one hour and I think is great but you die ALOT! But you get used to it but if you don't like to die then don't download this app there is a lot of death also You might have to keep a thumb on the controls so I hope you get it

Finally an ending. I normally never play game apps since most of them are way to repetitive, i mean like they make me play the same thing over and over again for something like a high-score or purchasing new upgrades/ characters with in game money. This game however has an ending, i can beat the game, i can finally feel satisfied after playing it for so long and reach the ending. The game was also fun, funny, and had a nice soundtrack to boot.

You won't want to put it down. Butterscotch Shenanigans nailed it once again. This game will have you ripping your hair out for the first 50 plays, but then you'll get better and better at it until you're flopping into space! This game really has it all. It has humor, it has challenge, and it has only one single IAP. You can't really complain about the IAP. It's a single, $3 payment that gets you awesome stuff. And, if you love the game, you should buy the extra stuff. You're supporting 3 brothers who love what they do, and make awesome games like Quadropus Rampage, Flop Rocket, and the highly anticipated Crashlands!

EPIC!. This game is one of the best games I have played on a wireless device. Quite entertaining and challenging ! One of its strong points is the randomly generated obstacles. Because they aren't in a pattern, you must rely on your mastering the controls, which is unique in these types of games and adds an edge that other difficult games don't have. Amazingly fun and challenging! Flop on fellow rocketeers!

Great little game. If Flappy Bird and Gradius made babby by rubbing their love knuckles together until they had blisters and then they covered their open sores with petroleum jelly, it'd look something like this. Love the progression elements layed over the simple, addictive gameplay - I wish the end-game leveling felt a little more quickly paced (waiting several runs to be able to level up a piece of equipment felt a bit too grindy), but overall the game played great and I was glad to pay the couple of bucks to play ad-free, get 2x coins, etc.

Best endless runner yet!. What most endless runners lack is a purpose and an end goal. Having that constant hope of reaching the space destination keeps the gameplay riveting. If You are new to Butterscotch Shenanigans I would also recommend Crashlands. It is worth the money.

5/5 *****. This game definitely deserves 5/5 stars, the game plays incredibly well, the controls are smooth, a bit challenging me at first, but that makes it even more fun imo. The creators of this game really knew what they were doing, there is an in-app purchase that includes ad removal amongst other things, and I may get it later on, seeing as there is an ad every time you die. It's definitely challenging and a great time waster, I'm sure this game will be around for a long time. It feels like a new JetPack Joyride, and that's a good thing. It's actually a little better because of the controls. Overall: Graphics look great, Game plays well, Upgrades will have you playing over and over just save up the coin to get them. I recommend this game to anyone that's got the room for it on their phone. I will definitely check out other games by ButterScotch and look forward to anything new.

Awesome, but why?!. Great game, nothing wrong with pretty much anything. But, WHY do the ship bounce so much when you hit anything? The bounce is unreal! I can hit something, barely even tap it, and one chunk of armor is gone. Then it flings me away into another thing. I can't control it. Another chunk of armor gone. Then if you get unlucky, it flings you to the roof, and when you hit that, you cannot stop the ship from bouncing onto the ground. It's ridiculously fast, too much. Annoying game mechanic, please fix.

Amazing game but needs fixes for newer phones!. Hello! I love this game a ton but I cannot play it on my new phone because the game is cut off due to the newer iPhones having the smaller screens. Please update this game! Thank you! ❤️

Good game. Enjoying it so far like the control system, the story is funny!

Simple and fun. I find most games to be so easy that they're boring, but this game adds a challenge. I also like that there are a few attempts for each mission rather than having to do something in an order that isn't fun and sometimes too difficult. It's got rockets, upgrades, weird things and explosions. I can feel the competition already for who makes it the farthest. I see so much potential for this game.

Amazing game that no longer works.. I love this game, I’ve been playing off and on for years but unfortunately upgrading to an iPhone X means I can’t play it anymore. The game is zoomed in on the X and cuts off the edges of the game. If you don’t have an iPhone X then by all means it’s incredible but if you’re running the X you probably won’t be able to play it without some extra difficulty. If they ever fix it I’ll change my review to the easiest 5-star but I have to rate the game as is and it’s unfortunately all but unplayable at the moment.

I FREAKIN LOVE IT! But uhh.... The price on more upgrades is a bit much. I do understand the studio needs funds, but 2.99? Little overboard. But anyway, this is probably one if the best games I have right now. It's really hard for me to find a good game and have it not crash as soon as I open it. It did crash a few times, but I'm used to that. Seriously, if you liked flappy bird or helicopter thing, I don't know. Get this game. It truly a work of genius

Gave it a fair shot.. I immediately was turned off with how I couldn't go more than a few meters before blowing up. I don't know what exactly caused me to continue trying but I pushed on and made some of the upgrades and it made the game slightly bearable. If there were more games or content that buttering up unlocks, I'd have no problem going "butter up". I just don't see how $2.99 is worth it just to be able to unlock all of the upgrades in this game. Maybe $.99, not $2.99.

Awesome game!!. I don't write reviews a lot, but I really like this game and the developers seem really cool. They spent a bunch of time on the game and just want to make some money so they can feasibly continue to create awesome games. The game is beatable without buttering up, and seriously 3$ is not a lot of money, so I don't understand the complaints whatsoever. It's an awesome game, they did a great job, and in my opinion buttering up should be seen more of a way to send your thanks to the developers. If the developers wanted to make a lot of money, they could have just made it much harder to upgrade everything and just sold coin packs, which I'm sure would be bought. Awesome game, definitely recommend.

Another Must Have From Butterscotch Games!. Why are you wasting your time looking at reviews when you can just download the game for FREE! these devs know how to pop out awesome games and Flop Rocket is no exception. Gameplay is addictive with it's tight and possibly very original control scheme. Plenty of content to keep you hooked, and you just gotta love that ButterScotch theme they lay over all of their babies (mobile games). I never rate/review things cause it's usually a waste of time, but if it gets more people to hit that download button and support this awesome team to make more games for me then I'll do what I gotta do. Get it! And Heck make an account and ButterUp with only 3 bucks to support them even more. You won't regret it.

Simple greatness. This reminded me of Jetpack Joyride at first, but this is better. It may have slightly less personality, but here there is a goal, and you will find yourself getting better, improving your rocket, and making actual progress on each trip through these randomly-generated tunnels. It makes it that much more addictive, less frustrating, and more fun.. I highly recommend this game.

RIDICULOUS!!!. This game is just down right stupid but in my opinion but it captures everything great about gaming on iPhone and other devices like it. I have my consoles to keep me busy while at home. While waiting in line at a store, in the waiting room at doctors or while just doing whatever it is you do In between big gaming sessions, I want a game that makes me smile that I can play a few times and then put down. This game makes me smile but usually because I feel like a moron trying to steer my ship and usually putting my phone down implies throwing it up against the wall because I can't figure it out. Joking aside, the controls are hard at first but you do slowly get the hang of them. And for those of you who are like me and enjoy putting your hard earned coins into upgrades I advise you to Butter Up!!! It is just 3 dollars for double coins and a ton of other things to upgrade! Nice job devs, I am gonna get back to cussing at this game. 😜

This game is super cool. Ok, so I have reached space and I was very happy. The thing is that it’s so hard to reach space without buttering up. I have buttered up though, but many people haven’t. The thing that’s most important in this game are the research paths. They help you in game most of all, but the problem is if your not buttered up you barely get any research paths so for other people who have NOT buttered up then you really should. However, I hope Butterscotch adds more research paths for you guys. Anyway, Good luck reaching Space!

Fix rebound mechanics, please!. Big fan of the team at Butterscotch Shenanigans! Love to support... however I would have to agree that $2.99 might feel a touch too expensive for a lot of people, considering the nature of the game... but you'll get a lot of buys when it goes on sale! Otherwise... my biggest gripe would have to be over the rebound mechanics of the ship... I frequently die even with additional shields because I frenetically rebound between stalagmites/titles after I hit one... please ease off an the explosive rebound, so a single hit isn't a death sentence.

You could have had my money.. This is a fun game, after playing for a bit I decided it was worth what you ask for the full game. Unfortunately, I don't want to sign up for your website to buy your game. I feel this was a poor and unnecessary decision, and it should be optional. I understand it might be to stop people from pirating your game, but people who are going to pirate your game will pirate it no matter what you do. Don't hinder people that want to give you money. 5 stars once you make sign up opt-in

Really different. This game may look like your average runner but it really separates itself with the way the game controls it may take awhile to adjust but once you get the hang of it it's great and if you have the money you should definitely butter up it gives you way more upgrade paths and what's so great about it is I played the game for weeks and never felt the need to you should definitely give this game a try.

Why is it 5 stars?. The more I've played this game the more I love it. I've rage quit over that left sided scroll wheel. But I've stuck with it and honestly it's ingenious now. I can weave and bob and shoot through opening. The more I upgrade the ship the better the control scheme shines. I'm very happy I downloaded all of the BS games and have buttered them all up. I'm playing each one of their games now and I see why they are so successful. This really is a great game. What I love also is the fact that as you upgrade the ship, it's design visually changes. It's really cool. Well done Butterscotch Shenanigans.

Good game but. I love this game but the one thing that annoys me is that most of the upgrades you can't get because you have to pay for something in real money. There's no point in doing the missions because the stuff you get from the missions you can't use without paying for the same thing that you need for the upgrades. I understand that they are just trying to get money but some people don't have money to buy stuff. I download a free app just to play something for free not too go into the game and see that you need to use real money for half the stuff. So I just want something's to be free not everything to be payed for. And if you want people to pay for half the stuff in the game just make the game cost money.

Clever design, not much fun. If you like flappy bird and tons of repetition, you'll love this game. The dimension of tasks and fuel add a new dynamic. I was curious to see, but the repetitive gameplay beat my curiosity. The constant ads were the nail in the coffin.

Poorly designed. Cool story line and characters. Game idea of tapping to keep afloat we've all seen before. But the second control to determine in what direction you fly coupled with the array of obstacles makes this game almost impossible to play.

Good fun but. My kids and I play on my tablet where I buttered up and the games eventually were able to sync but now need to buy it here too. Mechanics are fun and easy to learn and the game is a good time user for waiting rooms n such.

I would have given 3.5 stars. First big thing: I would have preferred a joystick at the place of the current directional system. Second thing: I written that butter up cost 2.99 but when I click on it it say 3.99. Third thing: Sometime a stalagmite and a stalactite are way to close and I cannot pass. Last thing: Sometime when I collide one something I bounce very hard and crash my self on the celling or the floor. But the game still good, after some hour I managed to go to the caves worms. Also I am going to buy butter up because I hope that the game will be less hard with it.

Pretty addictive. Ok, once you pay the few bucks you need to unlock the game, it goes from not too bad to holy crap this is fun. Way more challenging and more missions and you make it a heck of a lot further too. It's worth spending the little bit of money. Goes a long way!

iPad Pro aspect ratio. Been playing for years now and still enjoying. Only thing is I just got an iPad Pro 2020 and the aspect ratio isn’t optimized for this device. An update would be nice.

Flippy Floppy Five Star Shenanigans. I got all the BS games at once, or rather, I got Crashlands and a few days later got all the rest. They've all got a "one more try" quality that makes them hard to put down, and Flop Rocket is no exception.

5 stars for sure. I don't know who made this game but they did good. At first The controls where sloppy and I couldn't get past the first obstacle, but once I got better at the game I played it non stop for 2 hours this deserves 5 stars for sure.

Total Disappointment. This game was a great game until I found out it wasn't completely free, you can only take two hits in the game before you die unless you pay $2.99 just to get armor and like two other upgrade paths that are essential to obtain victory in this game. Bottom line is I wish it was just a free to play game, if there is an update the does that this might be one of my favorite games.

Best Indie Game for IOS. For an indie game it is great and plays really well. I can never find good IOS games much less indie games but this one is just to unique that it stands out from all the others. You don't need to buy in app purchases to beat the game. You just need to be really good.

Phenomenal Game. I don't tend to write reviews, but I just had to for this game. Every aspect of this game is genius and it all works like a charm, never experienced any bugs or glitches period. I prefer this over jet pack joyride any day.

Why should I sign up to an unknown service for cloud saves?. The full game is meh. Don't bother spending the three bucks. It's mostly about luck here. The upgrades are horribly weak to make the game seem longer than it is. Obstacles are just cheap. The final straw is they want your personal information so that you can get cloud saves that most other games give you free through Apple. Sketchy and wrong. Not worth 3 bucks. Avoid this.

No reason to play unless you pay for it. All of the missions you complete reward you with gold and juice, but there's one problem with that, you can't unlock anything unless you pay 3 dollars; so collecting coins or completing missions is useless unless you"butter up". It might as well say 2.99 in the App Store rather than free. But other than that, the game was actually pretty fun.

Good game but.... I love playing games like these where the devs offer fun features you have to buy to get but the game is still playable without purchasing. However that is not the case in this game, I would argue it is near impossible to complete this game without paying the full price of this game which is kinda annoying

20% luck, 80% skill, 100% fun. Sometimes the random cave rocks are too close together, making the gap impassible by the rocket. But the quick restart has you trying again before you can put down the game. Smooth controls!

Great game but. This is one of the best games I have played but I buttered up a while ago and now that you don't have to butter up in order to use boosters I feel I miss used my money so butter me up for another of your games or something to make it fair for me and others that have the same issue

Another Butterscotch classic!. The game is fast and fun with tight, yet challenging, controls. While the iap stuff can get a little in your face, it plays well as a free title. I personally have no problem throwing a few bucks at these guys if it means they'll keep making great games like this. CAN'T WAIT TILL CRASHLANDS!!! , '

I just downloaded this again so I could play through it one more time. A little too easy to beat but the gameplay mechanic is refined and addictive. A+++ great seller would buy again

One of those games. It's that game you just can't delete and come back to when you have a few minutes here and there and play longer than you meant. Good game to have.

Good game but it got bugs. I love this game it is my favorite game but there is a bug where the screen won't let me tap on it and I die because of that so if you could fix that that would be awesome also if you could add some customizations to your rocket like color and other things

Pretty swell. Aside from the ads ( i have yet to actually buy the game) it runs pretty well, the interface could be tweaked a little with the direction side of it though

Challenging. Haven't been playing for very long, but so far it's proving to be difficult. The controls are kind of hard to get used to, but I believe it will be entertaining. Short rounds, short missions, quick reload (you can begin again immediately after dying). Reminiscent of jet pack joyride. Good for killing a little time.

A bit hard but you get used to it.. It's a great game although it takes some getting used too. Over all controls on point.

This game is great. And this review would be longer but I'm on break at work and want to maximize the amount of time I can play before having to go back so I will be short and say this game is great. I like every game made by butterscotch shenanigans

Cheap. This game is actually pretty fun, and would, in my mind, warrant at least 4 stars. That is, if it weren't for the fact that the game has way too much content that is locked without purchase. I understand that developers need money, but the amount of locked stuff is enough to effect the game, but not enough to make me willing to pay for it.

Rocket fuel burn. Tons a fun and a great app to kill time. It is a challenge to apply enough fuel to pass through the tight opening on the upper and lower cave walls. I love it when those little guys start to run when I apply the thruster for takeoff.

I've see thousands of games trying to emulate flappy birds , but this game is nothing like that if you were wondering ... It's like a space flappy birds /gravity man / ... It's a good download

Space is overrated anyway. This game is for not for the weak. It is ruthless and will keep punishing you until you can learn to fly like a real Caveonaut. Like most space ships, controls are sensitive and there's a learning curve in surviving the treacherous cave. Would crash for hours 5/5

Another game from one of my fav game producers. Although when I first started playing, I wanted to throw my phone across the room. Until I learned the controls and I unlocked the fun and enjoyable part of the game. Overall I love the whole game.

Good Game, but no tutorial. I like this game alot like it was flappy bird, but theres no tutorials or tips also I can't get the "butter up" because my family is too poor and we can't buy things that don't give a good reason unless it's Christmas or my birthday. So please give tutorials also I would recommend to make the "butter up" price to be lower or just make the items on it for sale for in game currency.

This game has balance. This game is a bit strange, but has fair, yet challenging mechanics. The game will keep you playing, always trying to reach space. Plus the upgrade system makes it easier for you to progress

finally some fun games for Apple.... these guys make some great games where you don't have to pay to get ahead, and you can't! finally some games that aren't huge ad based apps with in-ad game content. I'm gonna support all their games with my money.

Extremely addictive!. I've been playing this game for hours and have enjoyed every second! Absolutely would recommend! The butter up addition is additional but it changes the game from a lite version to a full game easily worth $3!

Just the game I was expecting from BS. For all the money in the world, nothing would make me get rid of this game. It is awesome and has all the fast paced action and physics that I appreciate. I'm hoping you could stop with the ads though. Overall it's a good game and I can't wait for Crashlands

Fun At First Sight. I wanted to be modest, but I couldn't help giving a five star rating. It's very original even in it's genre. I love the humor, the upgrading, and the progressive difficulty. I'll be playing it even after reaching space.

Addictive, quick fun. Lots of fun. Once once mastered the controls (in a couple of goes) you get quickly better at manoeuvring your vulnerable little ship around. Buy the full version, and support indie game development.

Well done. There are many games with awkward controls you cannot get used too. I found you have to get used to the controls, but you can and in a smooth way, which just makes the game more enjoyable

Great, but needs improvement. I honestly love this game because it is sooooo addicting and fun and challenging too, but the problem is 2.99 for a couple more upgrades just isn't gonna cut it. People want cheap in app purchases like .99 cents. Please take this into consideration and you will thrive 😊

Vote for Pedro.. Now that I have your attention, this game is awesome. It's gameplay is just fine, but when you add all the little details, it becomes one of the best Skinner box games I've seen. I will probably keep coming back to it every time, and I will enjoy coming back every time :)

Worth the 3 bucks. This game is everything you want in a game for your mobile device. You have a free option to see if you like it or not then the cash you would spend playing the game adds depth and even more fun. Games that make you pay to try and play a game with this quality is good a game that lets you try it out first is great.

Addictive, fun, hilarious. Something about this game just cracks me up! It's so fun and challenging yet I don't get frustrated when I die because the explosion is usually so bouncy and hilariously exaggerated that I can't help but laugh. Lots of fun, highly recommend it

Sooooo good. This game is a AMAZING game. It is addictive, fun, and a great time killer! Only one suggestion I bought the butter up purchase but now I got it on my phone. Maybe make the special butter up upgrades able to buy with coins in the game. But make them a ton of coins!

Whoever made this game.... can eat a bag of dingleberries. I have spent the last hour murdering my brain cells playing this game. Way too addictive. Way too angering. It's Flopping Scotchtastic!!. First off the game it hard and the only way to beat it is to be buttered up but even without doing so it's a lot of fun. The controls are real tight and the graphics looks very appealing. With each play session lasting less than a minute on average I can see myself playing this a lot.

Another winner!. Thus far all of their games have been pure gold! My favorite has been monocle but this is easily becoming my favorite. Controls were weird at first, but I kept at it until it felt true. Now... I can't get enough!

It would really help!. Amazing... Just I think they shouldn't make it so you have to buy the option to upgrade more stuff like your armor and health.. I mean it's 3 dollars and then u still have to actually upgrade them afterwards. Fix that and this game will be amazing

There is no space.. I bought the game to be able to go to space as the storyline suggests, but when I finally did make it I was utterly disappointed. A I wanted to do was to blast my ticket and fly around freely in open space and maybe dodge an asteroid or two. But you do not ever actually get to space, you just exit the cave. Wasted my time. How do you feel? Does anyone agree?
