Late to the party!. So wow, I was playing this game with touch controls and really liked it, storyline, mechanics, the humor. Then I got a rotor riot controller for my phone! Now I’m absolutely in love! This team is off the charts talented, I also have Levelhead and the quality and polish of their games is absolutely amazing! No joke best game publishers I’ve played, move over blizzard 😉, the humor and care is truly birthed from a labor of love, this is more than a game. Well done guys I gladly will spend to buy your games, even better you don’t nickel and dime with micro transactions. I applaud you good sirs! Take my 5 stars and 7 bucks! My money delivered real gooooood!

Disappointed...lost pets, maps and buildings. I played Crashlands and enjoyed it a lot until this morning when playing the tundra level and warped back to savannah to find that all of my buildings and pets are completely gone and the map reset and all of my exploring is gone. I registered and have been saving my game often, to no avail apparently. So, I recommend the game if you want to play and suddenly have all of your progress disappear about 75% of the way through the game, but otherwise could not due to the disappointment.

Well worth the money absolutely amazing. Well worth the money this is like fall out meets ark and mine craft hours and hours of game play and amazing game to just play and grind hours and hours into like your playing a console I never write reviews but this game is so well written so detailed it’s hard not to fall in love with I highly recommend this had this for a few days now and don’t regret it at all absolutely love it I have put 20 plus hours into it and I still have barely even seen it yet... let me remind you guys THIS IS A GRIND/CRAFTING GAME so if you don’t enjoy those or find them to repetitive you won’t enjoy it... if you do enjoy that like me it is absolutely amamzing

Favorite mobile game. This game was simply amazing. Very well crafted and definitely worth the money. It took me 20 hours to beat it and I basically just did the story. It doesn't seem cheap or poorly made with hard to use controls like many mobile games, but instead has easy to use controls. Sometimes farming for resources can seem tedious but it is just part of the fun of the game. If you are hesitant to get this game, just get it. It will be $5 well spent.

Rare Gem. I’ve played this game from start to finish and this is probably the only game on iPhone I can say that about. I own MANY pay once and play games and this is literally the best game ever and since the new update I’m gonna play through again. This game is funny and grindy (but not grindy in a bad way). Quests are fun and not repetitive (there are a ton of quests) and armor/weapons all have a very different look and feel from each other. I wrote this review terribly but Butterscotch Shenanigans has wrote and developed an amazing game. Buy it and play it, it’s definitely worth the price. I would have paid $20 for sure as I’ve definitely put over a 100 hrs into this game. Oh and after you buy the game give it a sweet review so these people can keep making ad free freaking sweet games.

Play this game. Seriously.. Look at the other reviews...they aren’t your standard fare bot generated crap. They’re all from real people and this game still has a 4.8* rating, the vast majority of us love it. Read the low star reviews. Many of them are for fickle complaints that pale in comparison to the awesomeness of this game. I played it over a year ago and got more enjoyment from it and invested more time in it than I have $60+ AAA titles. You can’t go wrong here. Get the game, play it, love it. Seriously.

Best game on the App Store. I haven’t played a game as extensively as this one since I was a child. I’ve tried plenty of what’s available on the App Store and it never stays installed for more than a week because I tire of it. Crashlands has been on my phone for the better part of a month and I play it every day. Many of the paid games on the App Store are either poorly made mobile versions or cash grabs that aren’t very fun at all. I have no complaints about this game. My one suggestion would be to reformat the quest screen so it’s easier to see your objectives and needed items. It takes a lot longer to figure out what you need to do when you have to reread all the dialogue. Thank you butterscotch shenanigans for gracing my life with this amazing game.

The 1st iOS game I purchased & I couldn’t have picked a better one.... I bought Crashlands when it 1st came to the App Store as my 1st game ever for iOS & a few years & 20-30 games later, it still continues to be my all time favorite game EVER in it’s category of action/RPG. If you’re on the fence on whether you should buy this game, do it! You won’t regret it! This game is 💯% pure AWESOMENESS! 👁 give it 4 thumbs 👆🏻! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

A truly great production. I spent forever deciding whether I wanted this game and I should have just gone for it honestly. It’s such a fantastic experience, and I only have a few nitpicks. The spawn rate for things needs to be WAAAYYYY upped, especially in the final third of the game. It’s genuinely terrifying to have to hunt down so many depressurized larva. Please up the rate on that. Also some bosses are way overpowered. Especially the final boss was so difficult, but the strange thing is that some enemies can do far more damage than he can, in the final area you can take more damage from a regular mob than the final boss. That could use some tweaking, but in other places they could be huge deal breakers, here they are just minor blemishes on such a fun time.

Very Enjoyable. It's worth every penny of $5. Fun game - not worrying about tedious inventory management in a crafting / action RPG game is nice. Decided to buy it after playing other BS games like Flop Rocket and Roid Rampage, both of which are very fun free games. Crashlands is a full length game. It doesn't take itself too seriously and is quite humorous at times. Bravo, Butterscotch Shenanigans. Keep making fun games!

best mobile game i've played. this is a great game with great controls and a long life span. it runs great on my iPad and never got old. if you are on the fence about it do your self a HUGE favor and buy it. and to the people who say the story isn't that good, i see where your coming from but its not supposed to be taken seriously, its silly and humorous and I like that. easily gets 5/5 stars.

AMAZING. I usually don’t write reviews, but I have to for this. This game is a work of art. Way better that those paintings at art museums, including the solid blue one. This is a must have. Once I finish the game I will be so sad that it ended. The story is awesome, the jokes are awesome, and there are so many amazing ideas. 5 stars isn’t enough to express how much I love this game. I am so happy I don’t have to sort my inventory. This takes my mind off of all the bad things happening. The music is awesome. The different areas are very cool. Thank you Butterscotch Shenanigans for making Crashlands.

Best Mobile Game. Just mind boggling how good this game is. Not a fan of the recent trend of pay-to-win games that keep demanding your money in order to progress or be competitive. So, I took a chance and paid the one time fee for this game and it was the best $2 I've ever spent. I'd honestly pay more for it. I'm currently deployed overseas and have access to personal wifi so I was able to download this game and play it on my down time. I did every mission the game had to offer and did quite a bit of farming to build extra items to boost Flux, and it ended up being roughly 48 hours of play time by the time I killed the final boss. In my opinion, that amount of play time means money well spent, especially for a very much needed mental distraction from my day to day away from the comforts of home. Thank you BSS for making such an awesome product and gimme more!

Great update. This is a game I have had for maybe a year now. With the latest update, coming right before I beat the game, I loved it even more. However, after you beat the game and go into creative mode, you can’t fight anything. There are no quests, and you have literally everything. Please add a function to allow us to summon creatures with effects and stuff (such as a wompit with +50 million health or something like that.) this would add a very enjoyable experimental touch to the game, being able to mess around with different buffs. Also, please make a choice to control Juicemancy to some extent. It took me weeks to get damage reflect on a ludicrous chest peice.

Focusing on improvements. Great app, needs two simple improvements. 1. Hot bar tap detection. I don’t know what it is but the tap detection in the hot bar is noticing worse than the rest of the screen, everything else works fine but the hot bar for some reason has very poor detection. 2. Please please please have the box robot companion thing stay away from you while you’re in combat, seriously this app is super fun and I can find almost nothing wrong with it but that stupid robot thing stays as close to you as possible and during combat you’re going to click on him when you meant to do something else and I’m not kidding here, it’s happens so often and has been the cause of so many of my deaths that it’s made me uninstall the game a few times, seriously I don’t know why you can even tap on him in the first place he does nothing and the fact that he gets as close as possible to you honestly just play the game you’ll understand how incredibly infuriating he is please please fix this make him stay away from you during combat or make it so you can’t tap him please do something.

Spectacular. This game was positively stunning and hilarious this game is worth easily 15$. The storyline is amazing and it has hours worth of content...IN THE FIRST RUN THROUGH. if I was being super ?€£¥! Nit picky I would have to say that there isn’t a whole lot of stuff to do after beating the game’s main story and countless side quests/unlocking all the recipes. But that takes like 50 IRL hours to do so it’s not a big deal. Overall this game is was so amazing I cried when I finished it😢.

Excellent! Couple suggestions. Real DualShock support: The option to change controller input should be bound to left and right arrows. When you hit X to change controller layout from Xbox to “Shapes”, the bottom face button becomes the back button..so if you hit (on the DualShock) X again to try and change controller settings, it jets you back to the main menu. Very frustrating UI. Shapes seems like it’s setup for some non-DualShock controller. I REALLY appreciate the GUI size control option. However, even on my iPhone X, the camera has been pulled WAY too far back for mobile. I could understand the scaling for desktop. I REALLY wish there was a camera scaling for the game itself. I want to zoom in to actually be able to see the beautiful artwork. My eyesight isn’t poor, I just really think the zoom level is ridiculous. I think when I tried this game years ago it didn’t have this problem on mobile. Was this something that happened when the game became cross platform?

A Complete Masterpiece. I am currently on my third play through of the game and I love it so much! The jokes never get old I always find something new on every play through even though I’ve had this game since launch and it keeps getting better but just please don’t abandon the game. It has such potential but know that I’m done ranting I’ll actually give suggestions. Make it so that creatures can attack through walls even though it’s fun it’s to easy to whack things like glidopods through walls. Add a local multiplayer function and please not like the couch Co op sure it’s fun to play as juice box but it’s much more fun to play as flux and have the ability to be constantly getting stronger also add a utility slot so that you can put something like a harvest bomb in there and don’t have to switch it to a normal slot. Also please expand on pets in stead of just growing or evolving them make it so that you can make them gear. And that’s it thanks for making such amazing games and I hope that if you read this wich you probably didn’t you take some off the suggestions anyway that’s it.

Updates are a gargantuan bummer. Crashlands has brought me far too much enjoyment since it first launched for me to give it less than five stars. On the whole, it’s all love. But holy mother of God have they ruined this game. In a sloppy attempt to make it more challenging they made some enemies way too strong. I’m so bored having to do the final boss battle over that I’m done. All the hours put in improving armor and tracking down gadgets are quickly negated by the enemies who wipe you out with one or two close brushes. Other games work with this Sisyphus type stuff, but Crashlands doesn’t work this way. Love some new missions and enhancements, but the new difficulty makes me sad and bummed, and maybe even Covid-y.

Entertainment for a long time. Starting out can be a little confusing, yet the game is one of the best IOS games I have ever played. It gives you many missions we’re you experience all types of new creatures and objects. As you steadily built up your artillery, you start to fight many different bosses. Basically, the storyline I the game is this: you have packages you must deliver to the other side of the galaxy. However, Hewdokoo intercepts youand strands you on a planet. There you must build many items and eventually fight Hewdookoo to get off the planet. In final, this game was one of my favorite iOS games!

AWSOME GAME, one thing though. Hi, Moonjangsam here, (if you want to call me moon, that’s fine as well) this game is awesome and it makes me almost feel like it’s realistic, only thing that needs to be in the game is an inventory menu, not just for equipment, but for everything you gather as well. There is no rush here, take your time. (This isn’t very detailed, but I did my best to make it as detailed as possible). Other then the inventory and everyone else’s suggestions, the game is perfect in my opinion. This is probably in my top 5 games I like, even though I haven’t played it in so long. I’m impressed with your development skills. Thanks, Moonjangsam.

About the update. I just got the email today saying how to guys are getting the game on the switch and how your going to make it multiplayer! Is that update just going to be for the switch or all devices? Also thanks for this update! IK earlier in the game people ask about this and you guys said it probably wouldn't happen because you'd have to recode the entire game! Thanks for doing though!

Truly a 5 star BUT... Please add.... There’s a lack of something VITAL and simple... the game seriously has everything. It has a storyline that’s engaging. A crafting system that rivals and outdoes many! Crashlands is a game you can get lost and involved in. I love the battle system but it needs work. The enemies are balanced, but the serious issue here is just one update away. I beg, plead, ask, and long for the game devs to add a simple virtual joystick please. Fighting multiple enemies is not fun when the character decides to run straight into a preset path after you tap?! Please let me have control over the character!!! Other than that it’s seriously a 5 star game. The same was asked of Stardew Valley and a week later... BAM 5 star review and a loyal fan!

Uncomparable. After getting the game and playing it, it seemed a bit unusual and a little uncomfortable with the controls. But after playing the game for a longer time I eventually got used to the controls and found it addicting. The game brings creatures, people, tools, and more. Making you want to get the next best weapon or gear causing you to travel through the campaign and terrain.

What a beautiful game.. I first bought Crashlands the day it came out and from that moment I loved it. I have played a lot of rpg’s similar to Crashlands in a sense that it is in third person and you click where to go, etc.. and it COMPLETELY BLOWS AWAY all the other rpg games I have played. What really sets it apart is it’s never ending flow of things to do and devs who really care and put effort into their game. I have bought Crashlands on both iphone and pc and I can tell you that both saves take up a large amount of time, which is time I enjoy playing this game. So if you are looking for a low price rpg game with wonderful developers then buy Crashlands.

Just downloaded last night. I had reservations about buying this game, as I have bought other games and they sucked! I also hate when games constantly want you to buy gems. I looked up pay once and play games on google and found Crashlands. This game is seriously AWESOME!! I played for the first time last night, and I can say this is my all time favorite app game! So worth the $5 I spent on it.

Amazing game worth $7. This game has a balance of crafting, creativity, adventure, and action! You can build your base while exploring this creative world. Some games take a while to have all of the action. But when you play the game an alien blows up your ship real quick! You get crashed and you are stranded! I would pay $7 to get this game. This was probably the best game I played of 2019!

Awesome but shouldn’t have to sign up to get creator mode or perks.. It needs to have creator mode to unlock after you complete a “portion” of the story mode with all perks to unlock in it by completing certain levels or quests on story mode. I think that is the one thing that would make this game absolutely Perfect for all players to my opinion.

Best IOS RPG. This is one of the best games i have played on iOS. This is one of the very few games (on any platform) that I have played to the end, even other games that I consider very good. I still typically get bored once I get to powerful. I have replayed this game 4 times now over the last few years. The story is very entertaining and funny without being to wordy. The game play is extremely enjoyable, the crafting and fighting are balanced perfectly. I never felt like the search for material was boring or tedious. The changes in location, which changes the enemies and gear happen at just the right time to keep me engaged. I definitely consider this a AAA game. Very well made. The only other game that I have played only on IOS that I feel is comparable is Steamworld heist

ONE OF THE BEST GAMES MADE/PLAYED. I heard about this game through the Dev Diary documentary on Prime so I gave it a try and WOW. I was hooked right away. It's one of those rare games that no matter how long you play it, the second you put it down you want to pick it back up and play. Truly a rarity in games. The story behind it is awesome as well! I can't praise this one enough. Games are my life, so I feel am I am qualified to say, this is one of the best games I've ever played! GREAT JOB DEVS!!! Ok, enough typing, time to get back to playing some CRASHLANDS!!

One of my favorite games ever. The one thing is that even after something intense it still makes you laugh and my favorite character was Grandmammy if you are looking for a great story without requiring hours of play at a time look no further than guess where Crashlands my only complaint is that though it is fun to discover new quests it will be hard to know if you have done a 100% completion PS( if you developers are reading this untold millions (me) are screaming out for a Crashlands 2)

The best of the best. This studio consistently puts out quality but Crashlands is by far my favorite. Humorous an Wild, you can expect this from all their games. It's been years and I can still safely say this is my favorite iPhone game of all time. Gentlebros is another great phone game company and quite funny, but they still fall a bit short of Butterscotch Shenanigans. If phone gaming is something you do a lot, I highly recommend you get the other games from butterscotch. They're cheaper, if not free, provide bonuses in other games, and the best quality games I have ever seen in my years of phone gaming (since I phone 3 was new).

Something that could help people like me that get lost easily. So in the game you get loads of side quests and i usually like to do them all because they can be fun but my one problem is that sometimes idk what people are asking for or sometimes i have to close game mid mission then when i come back i leave the area and i don’t remember where the quest spot was and there isnt a big circle to tell me so i think it would be a good thing to add if u did a navigation system like you could click on a quest click navigate and under the mini map or in the top right it would show you the items that you need or the location the quest is. To be honest it would help me personally alot so i would appreciate if you guys could add something like that and if there is already something like that and i just didnt see it then in sorry for wasting ur time. This game overall is still really good though and i would recommend it

Crashlands Review: A truly hilarious masterpiece. When I had first seen the trailer for this game at a friends house, I was intrigued. A game that let me roam a 2d ish world where I could craft and smash my way through crazy looking aliens and laugh along the way? I got the game and I can tell you it doesn’t disappoint! Here are some pros and cons. Pros: -The combat aspect of the game is fantastic. -Crafting in the game is challenging, requiring you to do some exploring and in some cases, hunting. -Weapons are fun to use and are all around great and balanced. -The worlds you explore are colorful, creative, and massive. -The NPC’s that you interact with are funny and likable. Cons: -Movement can be cumbersome sometimes. I’m not sure if there is a joystick option, but the tapping around can be a tad inaccurate. -(this depends on how challenging you like your games to be) THIS GAME IS NOT A PICK UP AND PLAY. You might need a wiki. This can be a pro or a con for some people. Personally I like a challenge. Overall rating: 10/10 This is a game that will keep me coming back time and time again. I love everything about this game. And even though the movement can be cumbersome at times, it’s still an enjoyable, hilarious, and challenging game that will satisfy my mobile gaming hunger.

Please use standard keyboard entry for logon. Love the game. Hate the account logon. Why can’t you use the standard iOS interface? I use complex passwords stored in a vault for safety, and you make me hand type the long and tricky thing in instead of simply allowing me to copy and paste??? What on earth were you thinking??? Other than that the game is splendid with tons to do.

Enemies are too difficult. Hi so I really like this game but I don’t like how you’re forced to play survival first and that you have to beat survival first for the game. Another thing I hate I absolutely hate this part when you are fighting enemies and flux dies on you when you respawn and head back to the mission the enemies health is fully restored like seriously it just makes the mission even harder and worse like whey couldn’t there health stay the same as when I was attacking them. And fought them like why do they get a free heath boost like really I mean come on surely you might have seen that error before

Amazingly Awesome but... This game is amazing with lots of plants, animals, and crafting items I spent four hours on a car ride playing this and the only reason I stopped is cause my iPad died and so I had my phone with me and wanted to transfer the save via the cloud but I had some trouble with that when I got home and I’m requesting a way to move local save to the cloud cause mine won’t if you’d make that easier but other wise this is awesome! Also can we make the hot bar bigger and I’ve had trouble completing some missions like the one where you have to take down the bird dudes roost and a couple other ones.

To butterscotch shenanigans and it’s fans. I love this game in all its unholy raging glory And I was reading the reviews that people submitted and I saw that every complaint that they had was fixed, for example “I keep accidentally tapping on juice box in combat which was the cause of many deaths” so to fix it they made juice box teleport away when in combat, another player wanted the item tracking system so they added that too This is exactly what I love about certain game companies, they listen to the fans and they aren’t afraid to use the recommendations that people give them

One of my favorite games ever. Wow. This game is amazing. Just amazing. Like all the other Butterscotch games, this is just pure fun and funny. My friend told me about this game and said it was good. So I bought it for seven dollars. One of the most worth it purchases I've ever made. Some of the highlights of this game: -Funny story -Cool characters -Tons of hours of playtime -Just pure fun Many of the complaints about this game is how much grind there is and how repetitive it is. Yes, I agree, it can be a grind fest at times, but the other things make up for it. And about the repetitiveness, the amazingly-fun combat and quest make it worth it. I would gladly pay $30 for this game, worth every penny.

Good very good but. So it is a great game and I love it so bad. I think this game is so great that almost can not improve. The only thing bothering me is that the mode. When I finish the story mode and want to try a pure survival mode, the only choice is the hardcore. Not including creative cuz u got everything needed. I want a mode like story u can die with no penalty, but does not have any story line like hardcore. Is it possible? And also, multiplayer would be great

Creative mode :’(. When I heard that creative mode came out, I was super excited. I had stopped playing for a while because Barry was so hard, and I had been wanting creative for a LONG time. When I found out you had to complete the game to get creative, I was so disappointed to the point where I just deleted the game. If you could make creative accessible to everyone that would be great. For The Ever Searching Neurotic iPad Gamer. Crashlands was a game I had seen a thousand times in my search for the next “approximation” of a AAA title on the iPad. I never bought it. Fast forward to today as I’m writing this review I’ve played about 40 hours of it in two weeks. Something about the game other than its excellent gather/craft/battle mechanics is its depth. This is not a casual game though it still can be played as such. This is a full depth game with a very long, very comedic storyline (have I mentioned this game goes ON AND ON?). It is a great buy, even a steal, at $5.

Great Game but TRUE Multiplayer please. This game is amazing, the story, side missions, writing, weapons, pets and etc is articulate and diverse. I have a girlfriend who loves the game as well and while playing on the same screen it’s just not the most immersive thing right now considering we’re playing on a phone 😓. Either someone’s fingers are blocking the screen or you just lose track of yourself and your whereabouts. If localized or online (Maybe both if I’m not asking for too much) could happen then not only I would be happy with that but the community as well.

In my top 5 mobile games. I love the game, I bought it on a recommendation from a friend and it was everything she said it would be. However, the pathing is a bit clumsy. If I am on one side of a pond and click on the other side, the pathing should recognize that I want to go around, not have me walk to the edge and stop. Also during fights I find that the “box” on the mob is far to small, you have to tap just right or you just end up running at them and more times than not end up right on top of an attack (this happens a lot with ranged items). If I click anywhere on the body it should attack, not assume I didn’t mean to attack and just wanted to run right in. Overall I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys games like don’t starve, If you have played don’t starve and have said I just wish I could play without having to worry about eating every 30 seconds or lose everything I worked for for the last 15 hours, this game is exactly what you want.

Surprised/impressed. I really want to talk about something in this game. And that’s the combat system. Very smart and thought out, it just a back and forth attacking sequence. It contains the ability to dodge attacks and predict your opponent’s moves. Which, may seem simple, but tough to put into a mobile game. Good job. - Furthermore, fun and easy to use interface, has a lot of detail and can seem complex, but you get used to it quickly. - Allows for you to free roam and survive on your own, while upgrading your own equipment and creating goals for yourself. - I want to mention that I’m very picky when it comes to mobile games, and so far, this has blown me away. If you like “Don’t Starve” or any resource/survival game, this is for you. - And lastly, I’m very impressed. VERY impressed. You can see the developers put time into this game. Very good effort, thanks for the game.

Great, but a few suggestions. The game is very well made. The gameplay is fun, the grinding isn't too difficult, and the humor is on point. With all that, I still have some possible ideas. -needs more things on the stats page, like "quests completed: x/y" "epic pets x/y" and things like that -ability to set multiple waypoints -ability to check the amount of materials in inventory Everything else said, the game is amazing and definitely worth the money.

Fantastic Game. Best money I ever spent on a mobile game. So refreshing not to have endless grind vs paywalls. The game had a great pace, good story, and satisfying achievements. The gameplay mechanics were good too. I bought the steam game too. Money well spent. The cross save user registration needs some cleaning up. I know you’re implementing new system, and I was able to following the instructions to get cloud saves working, but this process should be cleaner. Some suggestions: Hot swap should do everything, not just gadgets and hot bar. Would love to hot swap weapon and armor. Load outs would be wonderful. The data reference should contain all discovered recipes and (most important) what workstations they are built on. Spent a lot of time recipe searching. I did enjoy the creature reference in game. That was good. Would *love* a bot or furniture that automatically harvested my potted plants when they ripened. (Edit: just found the Pot Slapper! Noice! Never mind) Would also love to have an aggressive feature to pets. It would be epic to have my pet automatically attack anything that takes a swipe at me. I think the creatures should have super weaknesses to some types of damage. That would encourage less of an endgame meta. Great game. Just finished it, but looking forward to tons of post finish gameplay. I have a lot of payback to dish out. :)

Great Game, Horrendous Sound. This game is a lot of fun to play. There is a ton of content and plenty to do. However, the sound design and music score for the game are both so horrendous that it makes me want to stop playing altogether. The opening sound is one of the most annoying noises in the world (“butterscotch shenanigans”) and the score will become fatiguing very quickly. It’s clear that very little thought went into the sound aspect of the game, which is very disappointing and really shows. As fun as the game is, this is one of few games that the sound design actually stood out due to how poorly constructed it is.

Super Fun Despite Flaws. This is an excellent mobile RPG with crafting elements. Great sense of humor, unique setting/characters, cool items. Lots of personality. I probably put 30+ hours into it so I definitely got my money’s worth. However! There are some significant problems with the design and depending on your temperament you may find the game frustrating. Very unbalanced combat can lead to annoying one-hit deaths, even when you are super powerful. Pets deal most of the damage, not your character! Quest system is a confusing mess and some materials are so reluctant to spawn that you will spend hours wandering the map. I wanted to toss my phone across the room more than once but I kept coming back to this game. The core gameplay is super fun and there is a real sense of progress. Plus you can tell the developers had fun making it. Nevertheless Crashlands can be SRSLY annoying. Purchase without hesitation but just know YMMV.

Favorite mobile game and high on favorite games ever. I have got to say that this game is AMAZING! The graphics are polished, the story is just the best, and who could forget the intro to the game along with the music. But, there are a few minor things that needs to be fixed One: when I try to eat I always accidentally switch my item set. I know this is not an issue on pc and is not really a annoyance for ipad users, but I am on my iPhone and it is just really bothering me. Two: Say there is a little pond in front of me and I tap on the other side to go around. When I tap on the other side, flux just goes towards the lake and is not going around. Please fix this for our convenience. I know your new game just came out and your going to put most of your attention on it, but please please please fix the issues I listed.

Great Game. With me new house at the start of the year, i don't have WiFi yet and i did not have any good games to play so i decided to play it and i spent just about all of my time with no WiFi in the game and even with WiFi i still play it, me and the game have a good bond. Keep the good work!

Masterpiece. Once you understand what your doing you realise how many items there are to craft and so many monsters to kill and lots of missions and no internet required so you can play on a plane or train or car good job butterscotch

The game is very good runs smoothly most of the time doesn't crash and has unique creatures and story line but When in the first boss battle with Hewdo , his names something like that and once I had finished the boss battle it crashed and I had to redo the boss fight could you plz fix this and so far the game has been worth it.

great game. if you are looking to play something worthwhile look no further. this is an amazing ios game and it gives you so much to do. it has a large story and so many side quests. you can build your own base with several materials to give it a unique look. the progression in the game is done really well so that even at the end there are still things that are able to kill you although if you go to the first world you can pretty much destroy the strongest creature in a couple of hits. it is sad that this game is not as big as it should be.

Needs multiplayer. It needs to have a multiplayer or you can go to friends maps.

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!. What an awesome game! I have waited a long time for the almost perfect RPG game for the iPad! I am so sick of all the games that keep spewing out that require you to spend BIG money to get anywhere. You pay only once with this one and you just play it away slowly but steadily improving your armor and weapons. There are plenty of quests to keep you going, creatures are varying with different levels of toughness and attack strengths to keep you on your toes. So much to thus game but still simple to pick up. I have played it for 20 hours now and still I want to get back to it but day-to-day life just keeps interrupting game play. 😁 Just buy the friggen play!!! Best RPG on the App Store. This game is one of my favorite games on the App Store and definitely the best RPG. Exploring the 3 different areas is fun and combat is great. But some missions are based on dumb luck like the one where you have to find Ziztic. He's really hard to find and since the world is randomly generated there's no way for someone else to tell you where he is. I still can't find him and I have completed the story! But this is just a small problem and you should definitely get the game. Thanks butterscotch for making such a awesome game. Would rate way more than five stars if I could.

Exceptional. I don't write many reviews for games but for crashlands I will make an exception. Quite simply one of the best games I've ever played mobile or otherwise. Awesome exploration and story beautiful graphics and sound. You can tell that lots of love has gone into this. In my opinion crashlands is a better game than either minecraft or terraria..try it and you will agree

'Freemium' companies take note.... ... make a great game, offer it for a fair price, dump any ideas about in game currency or trying to milk more money out of gamers for day 1 DLC. This is a GREAT game that has proven to be worth every cent. No bugs, no hands reaching into my wallet, just a wonderful concept and very well executed. It's like a sci-fi version of that other survival game, but this one has more character and is a lot more fun. Love it, five stars all the way.

MIND BLOWING!!!. Best RPG game there is in my opinion... So many quests and things to discover... Great graphics and a simple but super fun way to move around and fight swarming monsters that give you the items you need to craft the best armor and weapons possible.. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys games like Terraria, Minecraft Or Don't Starve... But this is better than them all 👍👍👍👏👏👏

Fantastic Game!. This game is so good! Almost everything about it is great: the story, the characters, the items, the environments. Butterscotch Shenanigans did a really good job making this game, and I think they're a great studio. Crashlands is also playable on any device using BScotch ID, and so is a cross-platform success. There aren't many things about this game which I don't like, but perhaps the progression of storyline is a bit too fast. Otherwise, Crashlands is a fantastic game, 5/5!

Blown Away. This is easily one of the best games on the App Store. Hen I first bought it, I wasn't expecting to be much, and almost complained about the price tag. Then I played for about half an hour and changed my mind and would still have bought it if they increased the price. Now I have spent 10+ hours on the game and don't regret any of it. Hunting down monsters, seemingly needless resource collecting, probably the largest randomly generated world (other than Minecraft) I have seen, and the best bit? The game has a story. Put it this way, if you like sandbox games, ARPGs, or action games, then this will be your piece of cake.

A True Gem. Crashlands is a game that you won't know is good until you play it for yourself. I first bought this game when it was 60% off for a holiday sale and at the time I didn't pay much thought to the purchase as I had recently purchased many applications but the reviews looked great so why not. When I first jumped into crashlands It already felt like a game I would spend hundreds of hours on. The game itself and it's whole ui and inventory took about 10 minutes to fluently use and understand. I wasn't expecting too much development nor quests but I was so so wrong. This game is a gem as it expands upon its characters and evolves upon them to make you want to go back and talk to them again. The controls are easy to use and the progression and scavenging systems are divine. This game reminded me of don't starve but I found it to be so much more. If you don't know wether to buy this game wether it be full price or discounted I say, buy this absolute gem 💎 of a game. If I could turn back time to buy this game full price I would. I honestly feel like just giving more money to the devs because I honestly feel like this is the only game I would need on my whole phone to keep me entertained. You don't need internet either so that's another + Love the work 😁😉😍

Very cool. Awesome game, my only complaint is that I keep looking for secrets, but there just doesn’t seem to be any. The map seems to be bigger than you could ever explore, so there could be stuff out there I haven’t seen, but would love a reason to keep exploring it. Looking forward to future updates, well done.

Amazing Game... But annoying bug.. I hope you read this and try to fix this. When I got up to around the "Bawg" mid game stage I started to notice that the music and audio was glitching out throughout every save and game and the only way to fix it was to delete the app and download it again but that only lasted for around a hour and it went back to the glitchy noise. I tried doing research on this and if you have a iPad Air 2 this will always happen. Please fix this. :c

Shocked. I got this game when it was released because I thought it would be a fun game just to play But when I started it was really addicting and all the quests were really fun especially the story line. I suggest this too anyone who likes making a house, fighting bosses and monsters, quests, and getting pets. Although even if you don't like those things you should give it a go it is really easy to get the hang of and sometimes quite a challenge if I could rate ten I would

Records of Sorrow BUG. The quest line called "Records of Sorrow" has a huge bug in it. The sub-quest of it called "The Final Trigger" which requires you to destroy the third trigger stone is bugged. I went to the quest area and found the stone. I couldn't talk to the characters so I decided to destroy the trigger stone as I assumed that's what I had to do. After I destroyed it, the characters started their dialogue and asked me to destroy the trigger stone which I had already done. The trigger stone is now gone and I cannot progress in the quest line. It is very frustrating and I'd appreciate if this bug could be fixed so I can continue playing this amazing game.

Absolutely Blown Away. I've played many mobile games in my life, they'll come and go in a matter of weeks because I'd grow bored of the same monotonous gameplay. This is hands down the best mobile game I have ever played. It's all the things I love packed into one awesome game. 1. Open world - It isn't linear, you can do whatever you want when you want to, which fits in hours of gameplay because there's no limits to what you can do. 2. The gameplay - There's no time limit, there's no screen lag, the combat is fun, movement is well implemented, storyline is great. 3. Unbeatable - I don't think I'm ever going to find a game as fun as this one. I make this review with 20 hours in the game, yet I still haven't discovered everything there is to find, as I learn new things every time I play. I do have to say if you don't like 'grind' types of games, then this one may not be for you. But I'd recommend this game for everyone, it has a bit of everything. If you don't like the crafting, do the combat instead, if you don't like the storyline, do the sidequests instead. This game truly deserves 5 stars, as the amount of effort put into this game cannot be appreciated by just 1 person.

Gets repetitive. The game is amazing the concept is cool, the only problem is, when you get to about the bawg, you get sent to find people, 80 percent of the time they give you blueprints to make new armour and swords not the actual story

Awesome. Awesome adventure style game. Crafting is easy and doesn't take much time at all. There is a lot to craft and progression is pretty rewarding. Some pretty cool bosses and the side missions keep you entertained. It's also awesome to have a pet that you can raise BUT it would be much better if you could take more than one pet at a time with you

Amazing... Get it. I've seen much worse games with 5x the download size, but this one is incredible. Simply stunning gameplay, crisp everything, and a great crafting and harvesting system. No IAP that I can see... And the whole thing is as smooth as butterscotch. I was not a massive fan of Flop Rockets, but this one they have nailed.

Greatest IOS Game Ever. I have followed this game since near the beginning. Took part in the beta. So I may be biased. However I don't like crafting games. This game is amazing well worth $8 and you can see the amount of labour that went in. In a time when few games have respect for the gamers, these three brothers do. Carry on the great work BS.

Amazing game. This game is truly amazing with all the quests and the areas to explore. The game although with a high price is worth every dollar. Many reviews describe this game well and hardly any give this game a bad review as the game gives laughs and joy to the player. The games bio already describes itself well and with more updates to come there is no doubt that this game will come to be one of the best games on IOS.

A game of higher caliber but.... The game is one of the best I have played of its kind and it is coming from someone who didn't really enjoy mine craft, terraria and don't starve game. I enjoyed the Quadropus Rampage game from the same developer and I'm glad to see the same characters implemented into this game. The countless hours spent on farming materials, fighting battles, building a house are addicting and worth it. I haven't encountered a single bug in the game thus far and I'm over 10 hrs in. I'm against multiplayer here as it might make the game messy, coop could be fun though. However, I do have 2 problems. One issue is that quest do not have clear explanation so some quests will confuse you and leave you stuck for a period of time while other quests have material names that you are not familiar with. Second issue is the crafting section in our workplace, a lot of them require different rare items to craft but they do not specify where to obtain any of the item, it made me frustrated at times and my best advice to counteract this is to check all workstations and pets you have, if they don't give the materials then it's most likely obtained in the open world. Overall, sensational game.

Amazing game. One of the best games I've played in a long time. Brought it on both PC and mobile being able to play the same save is amazing! The game itself is fun with simple mechanics but still manages to be challenging, about 12hours in and only just started out in the 2nd biome so the game is pretty big. Well worth the money. WOW.. When my friend told me to buy this game I thought 'eh sounds good, I'll try it.' BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? I STAYED UP FOR HOURS PLAYING THIS GAME. This has GOT TO BE one of THE BEST iPad games I have EVER PLAYED. Tiny glitches here and there but there is so much more to see than what the trailer shows. This game is a MUST HAVE for someone with a lot of time on their hands. (e.g. Flights, car trips, holidays). Just beautiful.

Love the different difficulties. The gameplay is smooth and for not so nimble fingers it's great to have easier settings. There is plenty to explore and do, love that there aren't any IAP. A really well rounded game that is fabulous value for the price, I've clocked up over 70 hours already, (I have no life 😊).

Good but combat is bugging me.. Love the game it's great but when I'm in a particularly challenging fight I feel like I'm dying a lot of the time because I can't move and tap my toolbar at the same time. Why can't I touch two places at once and why can't I customise the size and location of that tiny little thing? Anyway it's a fun game I wish The walls joined up like the ground does and I could get really minecrafty and make a great house with a ceiling and stuff but otherwise it's great.

Genius. This by far would have to be one of the greatest games I have ever played. As everything is simple and organised and the idea of going back to searching through the those annoying chest looking for that weapon haunt me, as with crash land everything is managed and organised. My favourite feature by far is the "finger painting" base building. This game is by far worth the 7.99$ price tag. Thank you for an amazing game.

A well made game!. One thing I love about Crashlands is the environment and all the creatures and plants on Woanope. Not just that, but the biomes themselves aren’t generic. Why start in the grasslands when you can start in the Savannah? My only real complaint with the game is that the egg drop rates for creature eggs are kinda low, and that I have trouble finding certain epic creatures. Other than that the game is great.

Server based multiplayer PLZ. this game is funny, stable, extensive, but whats the point of it all if i cant get some friends or randoms to join so that i can beat them senseless with a hammer??? Just an idea but over all great game:)

Most Impressive Mobile Game Ever. Literally the best mobile game ever. It doesn’t crash, it never glitches, and Its runs extremely well for such a big game. It’s a great game. This is an amazing game. I’ve spent many hours playing. I just don’t have the patience to go on. I’m stuck in tundra and so badly want to unlock creative mode but I don’t have the time or patience to go on. So, yea 4/5 for a game where you pay to get the first mode with money and it costs hours of time to get the rest of the game. Love the graphics and game play style, just can’t soak more time into it.

This game is great but.... I had created a save and accidentally created another but I didn’t realize for about 5 hours of gameplay. I deleted the extra save and it wiped both saves so now I’m back to square one, luckily I had a separate cloud save file but I was still set back a lot, as my local file was better. I don’t know what happened and I don’t think it’s a common glitch but it’s still frustrating

A few crashes. This game is great, it really is, but when ever i go into another biome like the tundra and try to open the map, it freezes and then crashes, this bug also occurs in the bawg, so it would be really nice if you could fix this bug. Still a really great game other than that, i really enjoy the story of the game and i highly recommend it to other people. If you tell me, this is definitely worth the price. Just to warn buyers, this game can be grindy at times and sometimes quests can be tedious, but from my perspective, its worth it.

Probably the best ARPG I’ve ever played..... This game is amazing, especially with a controller. I’m not entirely sure how many hours I’ve logged playing this game....but it’s a really high number. Hunting for parts/beasts, crating, fun quests, a silly sci-fi world... Amazing. Devs if you happen to see this: please release a sequel/dlc.....anything! I need more! 😆

Completely Amazing. I downloaded this game last night and I love it. I already have 4 hours of gameplay and still playing. The style of the game is very good. Worth the money. If you're not sure about buying this game, just buy it. You'll love it.

One problem. I adored this game and play it daily since it’s release. The problem is some of the very powerful creatures are far too overpowered, causing one hit deaths. Even though my weapon and armor are very strong. Please please fix this. Please lower their attack power a bit, I like a challenge, but this is ridiculous.

Great game, not perfect. This game knocks off a lot of elements of popular MMORPGs like WoW. Farming mobs and nodes, and crafting gear, is essentially the gameplay. The witty humor is really great. It's what's keeping me playing. The storyline is not compelling in any way. I'm not sure what's happening other than I have some vaguely defined powerful arch nemesis. The sandbox element is poorly done and honestly the game would be much better without it. There's no need to build anything so why would I bother? C'mon guys. This is not Minecraft. Quit trying to be what you're not. Next time, ditch the sandbox and get a good writer to develop an interesting plot. Then you'll get my fifth star.

Luckily gave this a second chance.... The first time I got stuck and couldn’t move forward in the game. Now things are more clear and I finally made it to the second Bawg! Great survival and story driven game.

Love this game. Please fix it ASAP. I’ve been playing this game for a long time and recently got addicted to it again, enough that I bought my kid this game, too.. now, it starts blacking out when you try to play it. I played 20 hours in the past month on this game, no problems. I even played it earlier today. But, as soon as I buy it for my son... now there’s errors! C’mon man!!!

My Pet. I love Crashlands, it’s been one of my favorite games for a while, but I just found out, the hard way, that if the game crashes while you are talking to an npc your pet has a chance to disappear. Now I have to grind for a mother max Lyff, so that cool, I guess.

Awesome. Hands down the best mobile game I have ever purchased. It’s obvious that a lot of love went into the art style, animations, and combat. If you’re a fan of open world crafty games at all I would highly suggest buying this.

Fun but needs a tiny update. I have had trouble in the past trying to find gassak plant for quests, and also straddlebark, so what I am asking is if you were asked if you could either pick up the gassak plants with the trowel and for the straddlebark could you add that you sometimes get seeds like logtrees and sawgrass so you can plant it

Great game. I really like this game and I have spent many hours playing it but there is one glitch I’ve noticed sometimes the map in the tundra resets but you can fix this by hitting the redraw icon in the upper right of the map hud

Doesn’t even load. The game doesn’t even load anymore just crashes on startup of the game needs to be fixed.

Audio issues iPhone X. Amazing game! One problem is the audio. On my iPhone X the audio starts stuttering bad at random times. I have to force close the app constantly to get it to stop. I'm using current version of iOS.

X, iOS 11.x. Utterly incomparable effort by an indie studio that has raised the bar for iOS development. Crashlands remains one of the most polished and intuitive titles on the platform, and the post-release support (ie, bug fixes, expansions, etc.) has been second to none. Few (if any) titles measure up to this mobile-friendly gem of a genre mashup.

WHY. This game could have been perfect. But WHY do you do difficulty settings. I can’t choose easy because it’s too easy, the game should be played on normal but then the whole time you’re wondering why you didn’t choose hard. This is my pet peeve in gaming. DONT GIVE ME THE OPTION. I chose hard out of pride but you can’t out gear the bosses!?? What is the point in weapon and gear farming when you can’t do that?? Just have ONE setting in between normal and hard. Take away the choice! It’s frustrating.

Love this game!. I absolutely love this game and have for years. But I just tried to launch it recently and it keeps crashing. I really hope that this is just an issue I can resolve myself and isn’t just something I’ll have to wait on. iPhone XS Max iOS 14.4

Best game ever. Ive beat the game and replayed it three times and its still not boring. I love it!! But if the devs see this i think it could need some improvements on the combat because the endgame combat is too easy and there isnt enough boss battles

Pay once, Endless content. This is the only thing I’ve ever not been too lazy to review. The up front cost trumps the hundred of dollars people pay for p2p apps. So much content. Can’t begin to describe this game. I love it, and the fact they aren’t robbing me to advance. Shouts to the BSS crew

Best mobile game I have ever played. This is truly a gem you guys. If you enjoy 1. Quirky, funny dialogue, 2. Crafting / exploration games and 3. Impressively engaging combat, then do yourself a favor and just buy this. There are no microtransactions that I have found, this is just a great game. I have 10+ hours in and I am far from bored, tons of other content to unlock. Loving it!

Wow. Probably the best game I’ve ever played on iOS. The one recommendation I’d say is to have at least 2 pets out at once instead of only 1. If you could have a small squad of 2 or even 3 pets, that’d be awesome and more enjoyable so you don’t leave cool pets stuck at your home

Very enjoyable game. I have spent several hours beating this game, it can seem a little repetitive but is entertaining the entire time. being able to build stuff adds a unique customized feel to the game and makes it fun. Despite the $5 cost, I would still recommend this game. it is worth it.

The epitome of mobile gaming!. This game is what mobile gaming could and should become. Phenomenal game play, great sound and music, challenging enemies, and hilarious dialogue. Minecraft meets Zelda. I loved every minute of it, and continue to keep playing hoping for another update!

Multiplayer. Love the game but I wish there was multiplayer so me and my friend or my brother or sister can play with me it would be greatly appreciated if you guys add multiplayer also add more to items to the savanna because so there’s more thing to do because bawg is like the only place for quests when you get there.

High Quality RPG. I bought this game a few years back and I immediately fell in love with it. From the witty tooltips to the challenging combat, the game overall feels very polished and well thought out. This game is definitely worth the money, and deserves the awards and titles it has. Buy it, and I promise you won’t regret it!

A good game Fix Keyboard issues please :). So I found myself buying and loving this game to death just have a single problem. Whenever I use my apple certified keyboard track pad to control movement of the game, I run into an awful bug that freezes the game instantly. The below is how the bug can be recreated... Tapping on a area with a trackpad on a body of water seemingly makes the game freeze. I am on a iPad Pro 11 inch. Let me know if theres anything that can be done :) All in all great game, please continue to keep this game up to date!

Godly game. In my opinion, this should be rated THE #1 survival game, but the story I think is awesome and has a reason, just being a package deliverer, you would have thought she’d already be dead, but no, you are crazy op outside of the insane mode, it’s so fun, I hope this game is updated for years to come.

Rating again. I had this on Apple+ but didn’t continue my subscription and instead bought this since it was the only game I was playing. Awesome.

Quality game. I don't like crafting but love Crashlands. There is no inventory so no more managing bag space! Great story, gameplay, and music. The combat is fun and at times difficult. However you will learn from your mistakes. (Don't stand in the fire!) Worth the purchase and having a BScotch ID has its perks.

best game i've played in a long time !!. personally i'm not a huge fan of games of any sort since i'm a girl, but buying this game was possibly one of the best decisions i've made this year. this game is very fun and addictive, not too difficult to play like don't starve, and not too easy either. it's hard to stop playing once you start. not taking up too much of your storage, and not requiring any sort of internet connection. the contents in the game are very creative and unique. i highly recommend getting this game, it's definitely worth the price !!

Almost perfect!. I LOVE the new update with the new game modes! I’ve played about a dozen hardcore run-throughs and it’s definitely a different feeling than the story mode. My only request for the devs is that they make a sandbox mode that isn’t hardcore. No story... Just me and Woanope without permadeath or the unlimited mats of the two new game modes. Perhaps a few optional settings like lose 30% of all mats on death or lose the gear you had equipped (have to go pick it up in a time limit). That would be perfection!

Great game but.... It’s a great game. However, the controls for fighting are not that great... is there anyway to change them? I’d rather tap some kind of pad than having to click on the monster than click outside its attack range than click back on the monster. It can be rather cumbersome.

Completely Unforgettable. I love this game so much. The characters I fell I ,love with even Hewwookoadoodoo or however you say that very long name. I have put at least 100 hours into the game doing 3 different saves and a brand new one with the awesome creative mode.

Masterpiece!. I've been looking for a survival game with almost infinite play time and guess what I've found! No other kind of games could make me play a mobile phone game for a whole day. Sure the game has some drawbacks, but overall, Crashland is a perfect game.

Can't get to the creeping rift. Just came by to give you guys a review so I can tell you how frustrated with this game! I will say I really enjoyed most of the first part of the game just before the bawg, but unfortunately I can no longer progress because I'm pretty sure there's a glitch with the map because it's not showing me where the creeping rift is so I have no idea where to go to progress, so I cannot finish the game which is sad because I really did enjoy this game, but really hate that I can no longer progress

Best Game. From the hilarious dialogues to the intense battles, this game is by far the BEST game that you will come across. Or at least my favorite. Devs please keep doing what you’re doing. If you don’t purchase this game you’ll regret it.

It’s good but needs to have.... It’s good and all but I think you make the ending where you get back to your ship and your freinds makeing the delivery in time and happily ever after instead of being stuck on wonaope.

Fun, but.... First of all, I really like this game. It has a fun atmosphere and solid gameplay mechanics. HOWEVER, it is also a huge battery hog. My phone is usually almost dead after I play it over a bus ride! I understand that this game is taxing, and while I can’t play it, I eagerly await a console release so I can. Epic 🏆. Almost 62 hours, almost 700 gravestones, all quests completed and all bosses defeated! All in Insane Mode! What a pleasure time spending game. Will buy also on steam, cause the developers deserve it. Wish they did an expansion or second installment! Thanks a lot for a great, entertaining, polished, simple yet genius game!

Great but 1 addition. The game is amazing so much content and great graphics 1 suggestion add online multiplayer so you could have 4 flux’s in 1 world they just land separate places in the savanna and if they find each other they could team up to build bases and more I know it would be awesome to play with my cousins and friends in this awesome single player game.

Love it, need bug fixes. I absolutely adore this game, the combat is fun, the quests are compelling, and every little bit of advancement makes me happy inside. However, there's one huge problem with it... I can't play it. Every time I try to open the app, teleport, or embiggen a pet, the game has a high chance of crashing. This is a serious problem and absolutely needs to be fixed.

Multiplayer?. I just finished the story mode and I was sad that I finished it. The game is so fun and entertaining. I wish we could have multiplayer and try to survive with more difficult creatures. It was fun playing the game. And I hope you guys add multiplayer.

Good Concept. This game has a good concept and good graphics and all of that BUT they force you to grind soooooooo much that eventually I just couldn't take it anymore. It's hard to be tired and get off work, start playing a game, then you have to go back to work with endless grinding to get the next big item you want! I know many games work like this but they should lower the grinding requirements so players do less work to get to the more enjoyable parts and better loot.

Minecraft & metroid had a baby named Crashlands.. The title doesnt even begin to cover how wonderful and fun this game really. Though just going by the title thats saying alot!!
