Amazing game! Been waiting years for this!. Crashlands one was an amazing game Among the top games I’ve played on mobile! Truth I put the line of Butterscotch Shenanigans games at the top of my list! I’m so glad that this has been released! This is a great upgrade to the original and it looks so much better! Great work on the game hopefully you guys keep up the work and thank you so much for this amazing game! Much live and appreciation for you work!

Worth $1,000. Honestly i usually dont spend money on phone games, but the reviews on this game had me ok with spending the $10. Started playing the game this morning around 7 am, it is 6:30 pm now. I have spent 7 hours and 33 minutes playing the game just today. It is fun. Lots if things to do, create/build, fight. Graphics are unique to this game. If you have $10 and you like games sorta like animal crossing this is a good one.

Seems like a nice remake, but plagued by poor touchscreen controls and lack of guidance. I really loved the first one. This one does not have any tap/touch controls and the virtual controls leave much to be desired, resulting in frustrating combat and crafting. Also, the lack of guidance has me spending more time, looking up stuff online, even though I am very familiar with the genre and the first game, than actually playing the game. I had my hopes up high, but this is just a mediocre sophomore effort ‘phoning it in’ on mobile. I guess I could try it on PC but I don’t wanna pay three times the price just to try it again. The writing, however, is still quite fun, thus I’m giving it two stars.

Great Changes!!!. I played the original Crashlands on release and loved it. I played through it several times over the years and have been waiting anxiously for Crashlands 2. I’ve been playing the new release for a few hours now and I love it! Definitely some changes to the original, but I find myself really enjoying it!!!

Price is MINIMAL for time. Look, i don’t do reviews.. I thought just a rating for most things is good enough, but someone may read this and make up their minds. This game is pure joy. The art, the humor, the gameplay, its firing on all cylinders. The progression in the game makes you feel like there is always something to do, or just farm some supplies and build a rad base. Just being able to get off work, wife watches some tv, and i can still chat with her and play. For me that’s what im looking for. I’ve put so many hours and still haven’t left the first area, there are many secrets and surprises hidden. You know those games where you want to explore and get to that one corner where you expect something to be there.. ITS THERE in this game. Buy it, just do it. NO REGURTS

Fantastic sequel!. The amount of time and care the devs put into every aspect of this game is insane. The mechanics and artwork are amazing the controls and music fit perfectly. It feels like Flux and I both returned to something truly special. Thank you!

IGNORE THE HATE!!. This game is truly amazing. Has the same feel of the original but with improvements. Are the controls different? Yes. But they are far better. The crafting system, pets system and fast travel are all better too. If you loved the first game, you will love this one too. Don’t wait, get it today!

Seems to be a game except the controls make it unplayable for me…. I loved the first game for hours and hours. After finishing a few time I started speed running just for fun. I waited in anticipation for the second. I was so happy when it came out. I played for a few hours and I really liked the story and dialog and quest and gameplay. The graphics are great and it is so interesting to see the ’HD’ version of all the things from the first game. It is too dark and everything blends together which makes it a bit hard on the eyes but that is most likely because I only play on my smartphone and the screen is very small. Unfortunately, I stopped playing and it will be uninstalled soon. Without touch control it just is too frustrating to play. The controls take up half the screen and I’m misclicking half of the time, dying over and over. It just isn’t fun because I’m forced to use these controls. I don’t want a console game. I don’t want a controller. I want a game designed for a smartphone because that is the only place I have time to play. Amazing game guys. Just not for me I guess…

Solid harvest/builder game. I have been playing for about 15 hours now and this is a worthy successor to the original. It is quite polished, Gameplay is straightforward, there is good use of humor in the dialogue, and provides the right amount of challenge for me. If you enjoyed the first one you are sure to enjoy this one as well!

Fantastic. A wonderful improvement on the first game. I was a little worried about how the touchscreen controls would handle based on some videos I watched of gameplay, but I can tell anyone wondering the same thing that the controls are great.

It’s Crashlands - but sequel is even better!. I loved Crashlands when it released years ago. The humor, the creatures you’d meet and befriend, the freedom to build where and how you like. Crashlands 2 is even better! Same art style and humor, but even more crafting recipes, more to do and the game looks gorgeous! Vibrant, gorgeous world and all sorts of neat materials to build with. I love it! Highly recommended!

Love this game!. I played Crashlands a TON when it released and have been eagerly waiting for Crashlands 2. I’m really enjoying all the improvements I have seen so far. I haven’t even been playing very long and I’m pretty dang sure I will be putting a VERY LARGE AMOUNT of my time into exploring, leveling, collecting, crafting, taming, etc. Thanks Butterscotch Shenanigans!

I call shenanigans! Yay!. Even better than the first one, which was as close to perfect as things get. The combat in this one is much less forgiving, but that just means you need to learn new strategies and tricks, which I am thoroughly enjoying. I must be bad, because I die a lot, but there’s no long term loss which also makes the game fun and chill to play. Brilliant title, well worth your time and money. Give it a whirl,

The Perfect Sequel! Didn’t think Crashlands could improve but it did!. I can’t put this game down. No matter how much I get done there is always so much more to do. They have improved everything from the original. Better music, mood, characters, animation, dialogue, and style and so much more. The Perfect iOS time waster for me. My new favorite game to play while in lunch duty at school. AMAZING.

Must buy!. Love this game. Worth every dollar spent. Huge improvement from the first, and the first is already really good! Personality in every character, a blast with every quest, and a gripping story that has you playing more to see what happens next! It’s clear a lot of love went into this game. 10/10!

An amazing Part 2. Loved the first game, can say the same about the second game. Same gameplay you know and love with great twists and different flavors. Optimized controls for mobile devices (some of the best equipment UI ive seen on mobile) and hilarious dialogue as always. 5/5, would recommend to anyone who loves adventure games in a mobile format, and is tired of ad-filled, pay-to-win filler game.

So worth it!!. The perfect game to brew up a cozy drink and unwind with. You can tell the devs put so much care into every little detail. For something this good, it’s well worth it to spend some money upfront to play something that’s pure relaxing fun instead of something that’s trying to get you to spend money around every corner. You won’t regret it, I promise!

Awesome, actual game. I hate mobile games that constantly make you wait or pay to do things, this is not that at all! It’s a real full fledged adventure/crafting game. I played it for about 4h straight in my first sitting and I’ve barely scratched the surface.

Best $9.99 you’ll ever spend!. First of all, the devs are GREAT. Their community is outstanding on discord. That all makes the whole gaming experience even better. Moving onto the actual game, it’s amazing. It’s a lot different than Crashlands 1 but expands on what made Crashlands 1 superb in the first place. The constant jokes keeps you wanting the read the dialogue, the various weapons and armor leave you wanting more, building most importantly has heavily been improved. Honestly…. Honestly, the Crashlands games have been my favorite ways to pass time and actually have fun without spending money to get better gear or be stronger in the game (unlike many other games out there). The story feels immersive, and with the addition of the expressions from each character during dialogue, it adds another layer of depth to the game. The gameplay itself is fun and rewarding, and completing quests or grinding for new gear, or stronger pets, doesn’t feel tedious at all. Highly recommend.

The best game on the App Store. Full stop.. Listen, these butterscotch guys don’t mess around. If you value your time, get another game. You’ll run out of lives or energy or whatever candy crush bollocks and be forced to reckon with your own fragile human existence. But if you want to experience something a little… Juicier? Well look it’s 3 am, the game’s only been out 17 hours and I just lost the last 12. I don’t know what happened temporally in the outside world, all I know is the loop is gooooood. The design is the bomb-diggity. And I think I’ve scratched the surface, but heck I still haven’t even touched whole systems. Between the gorgeous art, immersive systems, just downright funny writing, and stellar music, this is the first game in I don’t know how long that I’ve put down all other media, tv, podcasts, music, and just immersed myself in a singular game. And you can have it on your phone! Progress/saves sync back and forth between my phone, iPad, and steamdeck seamlessly too.

I LOVE THIS GAME. Ok so I played crashlands 1 back when I came out and it was pretty good. Usually sequels are pretty bad but this one is PEAK. The humor is still awesome. I love the character redesigns. It’s got a pretty good plot. Pretty much everything you can want out of an Rpg such as this one. The 10 year wait was worth it!!

Great, but needs a creature/item index index. Loved the first, loving the sequel so far. The only glaring flaw is that many quests involve specific creatures and items, but there is no reference guide for identifying them (there is for items in the worktable, but would be better if always available while out in the field).

GREAT GAME but Bugs. When I go in my inventory sometimes I cannot equip certain tools or things in my equipment section and they won’t go in until I restart my game Also I think we should be able to see how much of a resource we have in our inventory without having to be at a crafting station

My favorite game. The amount of love, thought, and creativity that has gone into this game is out of this world. I especially love the mixed biomes and observing the ecosystems right before I jump in with my knuckles and gadgets. Crashlands 2 is bigger, better, and more powtastic than ever!

Launch day. Looking forward to playing! Seeing some “bugs” -I can’t say if the loading screens are due to first launch or if it will happen every time. After hitting “Enter world” there’s a loading screen, the audio track restarts when the load hits various phases -as soon as Flux lands and it’s about to let me start, it crashes to my iPad Home Screen System: iPad 6th gen. Stuck on 17.3.1

Rough start. The first zone is too dark. I still have problems seeing at max brightness being inside on an overcast day. Having to dodge every attack & having a progress bar on every attack feels terrible. Why not have big windups for really powerful attacks only? The telegraphs need to be simplified. They aren’t supposed to be art, they are supposed to be easy to read. Visually it looks like the enemies are hitting me, but because I wasn’t inside the weird shape, I don’t get hit. Why have telegraphs all over the ground for enemies who are doing very simple attacks? Instead of focusing on enemies and their animations, I’m playing avoid the shapes, it’s lame. Not gonna continue playing after an hour but I enjoy their podcast so I hope this does well!

Crashlands got a glow up. I’ve been anticipating this for so long and now it’s finally here. This is quite a visual upgrade from the first Crashlands. Almost every mechanic has been upgraded to be even better. The handcrafted world is just beautiful and feels so alive. The small amount of graininess from the first game has 100% been fixed in this new version. Everything you have to do feels meaningful and important. Fantastic job guys.

Masterpiece. I’ve been waiting on this one since I finished the last one. It’s absolutely the best game. I’ve played on my iPad ever. I play Hearth Stone a lot, but I would play this all day long as long as the contents there. The attention to detail the multitude of things that you can do. It’s just awesome!

Super Awesome Sauce! 😋🍹. Butterscotch has really set the bar high with what a crafting, open world, base building ,game should be. I was a fan of the the 1st one, and the funny thing is, I was just wondering why I sequel was never released. Here it is! And wow. I have no complaints. The storyline is just the right amount of humor, but with a touch of intrigue to keep you questing to unravel the mystery behind the cooperation interest in Wonopae. Worth the money and some! Excellent job Devs!

AMAZING AND ADDICTIVE. This game is literally my favorite game OF ALL TIME!!! Ten bucks for this is definitely worth it! I play for HOURS nonstop!!! The atmosphere is so beautiful, you can BUILD A HOUSE (with FURNITURE, of course!), and you can even get a PET. My Sluggabun is named Buddy, and I LOVE HIM. There are even FIVE different game modes, and you can choose to focus more on the adventure, or just build a house and get a pet. Fun but…. I feel they made a huge mistake in ditching the old building stations that each had its own items you can craft from a certain monster. I also really enjoyed being able to craft a certain weapon or armor piece several times in hopes of getting a purple roll. They also got rid of the old fishing mechanic that I really enjoyed. Plus the map is better but does not show npcs on the map and really makes completing quests hard. Also the gadgets are not as fun and original as the first game. I feel in upgrading so many things they lost the passion and originality the first game had in spades. They also made upgrading pets far too wat this time around and I really loved the challenge of having to kill those hard enemies to get their souls to be able to upgrade your pet fully. So many good things they ditched in order to make the game easier. No more tough enemies and also your pet is on a cool down that’s not what the first game was about. Also more important they got rid of all mini bosses and bosses. I’ve been playing over 10 hours and haven’t fought a single boss. They map is one giant world but all biomes feel the same. That said I’m sure if you enjoyed the first you will love this one but you will miss so much of the first game sadly.

Don’t wanna stop!!. I love this game. I love the first one, and now I love the second. It has everything I like in a game. Crafting, combat, cozy/intense??? I play everything from Diablo to Animal Crossings and in between, so try this game if that sounds like you or even if it doesn’t. The graphics are beautiful and I find myself actually wanting to read the dialogue. Thank you to the developers for this lovely gift. I’m a fan. Also a great game to play on the Backbone. 😍

First did it better. TLDR-If you enjoyed the first you’ll just keep getting let down. Removed all the fun and exciting features that made the first replayable. Everything carried forward is a watered down version that was turn in at 11:59 the day before it was due. Completed story and every side quest and I’m done. Spent hundreds of hours replaying the first and this one is just a “one and done” kind of game.

Crashlands 2 Crashing at Intro – Request for Support. Hi Crashlands 2 Team, I’m reaching out because I’ve been experiencing a consistent crash right at the intro of Crashlands 2, and despite several days of troubleshooting on my end, the issue still persists. I’ve tried all the usual steps, reinstalling the game, checking for updates, restarting my device -but nothing has resolved the problem. I’ve been a big fan of your work and was genuinely excited to dive into Crashlands 2. The art style, the humor, and the gameplay you create really resonate with me. But after days of trying and failing to get past the intro, I’m honestly starting to lose the excitement I felt waiting for the game to drop. At this point, I really need some professional help figuring out what’s going wrong. I’d love nothing more than to fully enjoy what you’ve built, so any support or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for your time and for making such a creative world. I’m just hoping I get to actually experience it soon. E.D

A few things aren't working. 3 hours in so far on CL2 (a) The story is so much thinner – besides the old folded photo and a guess that I'm back at the original planet, I have no sense of the Why of this game, world, and story – I'm burned out and hope to see old faces? Except none of the in-game dialogue has pointed to this. I can't recall any initial direction once the game starts, other than "oops we ruined this guy's cabin" – What else am I here for? This actually just rolls along like an expansion pack. (b) I get that the character sounds are inspired by Wall-E, but they are several levels below that in terms of cuteness, appropriateness – really there's nothing yet that's sold itself as a reason to use headphones (c) Gripes aside, I still like the game mechanics, and will continue for that reason – but the charm level so far is way lower than CL1

Incredible. I had never finished the first game and as soon as I heard this one was coming I played it for 40+ hours from start to absolute finish to be able to play this one. This one is faaar better and funnier. Amazing game.

Sequel Doesn’t disappoint!!!. Amazing game!!! I played the original and I have been following development of this game for years and am sooooo excited to be playing it! I love the gameplay and story so far, my only complaint is that there is no way to change your respawn point to a different teleporter pad. If I am just missing how, someone please let me know! 5 star game highly recommend!

Amazing Sequal. Definitely worth the 10 bucks in my opinion. I’ve spent quite a bit of time on the game so far and there is still soooo much to do, but also doesn’t feel overwhelming. Enjoying every aspect of the game and it’s definitely a great sequel to the OG. Can’t wait to keep playing 🙌🏽

Great game!. I played the first Crashlands and loved it! When I found out that Crashlands 2 was coming out I was super excited and I’ll tell u what it’s a great game! New game. This game feels like a completely new game. You carried over all the aspects from the first game and turned them into something completely new! If you liked the first game you’d love this one! If you guys could, when it comes to some missions I get pretty lost sometimes(because I skip through all the speech). You should add a feature that helps u with missions, like gives u a hint, I see there is an (!) on the map. But some missions don’t have that, for example with the first let, I don’t remember where I got the egg so idk where to go! Other than that the game is amazing! Maybe also adding a feature where I can switch from 1,2,3,4 equipment sets easily

THIS! GAME!. You GOTTA play it. It cleared my skin, watered my crops, walked my dog (even if my dog was kind of bunny-looking). But for real, the narrative is killer, the game play is clear for a casual gamer like me, and it transitions between platforms wonderfully. Time is the only finite resource, so use it wisely by playing this game. You won’t regret it.

Good but repetitive. Loved the first game. Bought this as soon as it was out. Initial feeling was positive. After a while it is now more mixed. The game seems to be essentially linear unlike the first one. Find juice factories. Kill bots. Find key cards. Kill more bots. Turn back on a building for a blink, bots are back. Kill them. Go to the next building. Kill bots. Return to the first one. Bots respawned. Try to find the next building. Respawned bots everywhere. Kill them. Try to find the key card. All bots respawned. Kill them. Turn around the corner. More respawned bots. Etc. Ad nauseam. After 30+ attempts to kill guy-d I am essentially stuck. Nothing to do. Nothing new to craft. Enter factory. Kill bots and spend half of healing items. Give a go at guy-d. Get killed after making a tiny dent on its health. Build more healing items. Fight bots. Use healing items. Fight bots. Another go at guy-d. I have played the first one through many many times. It is feel-good and relaxing. This leaves me just anxious and I seem to be taking longer and longer now between even coming back to it. I see no point in the endless bot killing. They don’t drop items. They don’t give you anything. Fighting them over and over in same locations is just waste of time. This could be great but balance is off.

Best game series. I’ve played this game ever since the first came out and waited for the second now it’s finally here and I enjoy every minute of it i’m barely even halfway through part 2 probably not even lol keep up the good work maybe a part 3 next to keep this awesome game series going

A fantastic job!. I’m quite a fan of the first Crashlands. It was well done with a very small team, but still had quite a lot of replay value. They’ve done a fantastic job with rebuilding it from the ground up. I played several sessions at this point and I’m getting used to the new interface. The world is beautiful and I’m having a great time settling in and exploring.

Love the game but I hate the controls! Update. I’ve been playing the first Crashlands for many years, and yes I am more used to the old controls for iPads, I really don’t like the new controls. My thumbs slip off and I turn around or quit running or change out of my weapon and on to something else while in the middle of a fight!!! Always love Crashlands but I really really ………..….really hate the controls! Also the right controls cover the right side of the screen. I know you can move it around and resize it a little but it sometimes still covers very important stuff 5 stars if it wasn’t for the controls!!! Update: I have to change my rating to 5 because I absolutely love this game! I’ve been waiting for years and it was worth the wait! It’s like Crashlands 1 but different with puzzles within puzzles Sorry for bad rating the first time I’m old and slow and was very frustrated because I was dying quite frequently I will learn to love the controls It’s really fun and I love it!

Woayup. If you played Crashlands and want more, this is an evolved sequel in every way. Great with a controller and great without. The audio atmosphere is actually enough to get me to turn off my background podcast. Humor in the writing?! Yup. Challenging combat?! Yup. Crossplay?! Yup. Endless inventory?! Yup. I’m diving back in. If you never played Crashlands, I envy the discoveries in front of you.

Great music soundtrack. Unique gameplay overall I say this game is a buy . A refreshing break from all the other cookie cutter ad based games .the resolution is great it would be better if you could zoom in though. And I say that playing in a pro max iPhone so if you had a smaller phone it would be requiring a magnifying glass to see things .

Worth the wait!!. This game is just better. The style, the writing, the progression, the better. Not just better than Crashlands. Better than any other game you have played. I am 50yo and I have played games since Pong and Intellivision and this is next gen gaming. Just play it. I won’t bore you with spoilers because any gameplay would be as every piece is a delight. I am off to buy the plushies, because I will need something to hold onto when I finish this masterpiece.

Great game!. Really enjoying this so far!

Love it so far but….. I really like it from what I’ve been able to play. Unfortunately it keeps crashing with the lowest settings on my iPad Pro that has 16.7.11 iOS. I understand it’s an old iPad but was really looking forward to this game. Unfortunately I need to get a refund. I’ll keep watching for more updates and get it on pc when I can get one.

Fantastic Sequel. Such a perfect upgrade over the first game - which was already excellent - on every metric. The art is gorgeous, the gameplay is smooth and snappy, and the dialogue is consistently charming. You can really tell that this is the version of Crashlands the devs always wanted to make. And now, they’ve shown they had what it took to make their vision real.

Goat as always but need some bug fixes. Everything about this game is perfect so far. Just a bug that I found that when you equip a weapon or something, you need to tap the button many times to actually equip. It just keeps getting unequipped.(iphone 15 pro max) The other suggestion would be to not give recipes far ahead of the actual gear that you have acquired. Confuses a bit. Other than that Goat game just as its predecessor.

Love all the games. Butterscotch shenanigans has put out. Played every game, had been checking every once in a while to see if any new games and was so excited to see there finally was. Love and nostalgia. I loved the first crashlands game as a child and I will continue to love it in my teenage years now. I wish the UI was a little bit easier to pick and choose certain items but otherwise it is much better graphic wise and I love all the references to the old game

Good but needs some improvement. During multiple cutscenes I have experienced random crashes and lags when I am walking around I did prefer the old art style and don’t really like the walking animation but combat and difficulty is rock solid, You’re doing great.

Crashlands 2. Very big and pleasant upgrade to Crashlands, love it!!!

Absolutely the best. Loved the first one and thought it was the best mobile game ever made, but this second one is somehow so much better. Absolutely love this and the team who made it!

Legendary. Goes through my battery more rapidly than Juicebox throws out snappy one-liners, but I cannot put it down. It is fantastically engrossing.

Truly Amazing!!. The first game was something completely original with addictive gameplay and a funny story. Crashlands 2 is all of that with a fresh coat of paint and awesome quality of life features that make this a must play game. Well worth the price and it’s also available on PC! I hope they bring it to Xbox eventually because I would love to play this on my big screen.

It’s too bloody dark. This is not as much fun as the original. It’s just not. I can’t get into it.

Nice game. I like the game, but I don’t like how you have to do research to make new gear. This game is Polished with great music, better graphics, mechanics and gameplay. Well worth the price. I’ve been waiting for a second game since high school , so I’m happy it’s finally here.

Just better. I love this franchise. The sequel doesn’t disappoint and is an improvement on the original. Super addicting. Tons of fun! I’m super excited for the Compendium coming back. My only suggestion is for a sandbox co-op mode. I would love to just run around with my son, base build and fight baddies together. That would make an already amazing game more amazinger!

PS4/ps5 controller support?. I really love the game, but I noticed I couldn’t connect my controller from PlayStation, overall not a big deal since it’s overall super playable but i feel like it makes the combat slightly more challenging without the easier control :)

The Great Successor. Crafting, Item Collecting, challenging combat. It’s all back. Really wish the IOS market had more solid games like this at this price point.

Fantastic!!!. The Bscotch team continues to outdo themselves! Mechanics are super satisfying and the visual overhaul iterates on one of the best mobile gaming experiences I’ve had. If you’re a fan of the original, this improves on every design aspect and is a must play.

Perfect. Crashlands 2 is a wonderful follow-up to the first game. Delightful characters, writing, and a hand made map make for a fantastic experience. Flux and Juicebox are all time classics at this point and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

10/10. I’ve barely touched the surface of this game and I’m yet again, in love I loved the first and am loving the second, hands down one of the greatest mobile games I’ve played ever.

Great feel and story. I love the look and feel of the game along with the quest system that helps your progress through the game. Movement feels great and the BScotch bros do a great job creating fun and lighthearted dialogue that is unique to the brand.

Love it.. This is the game I always wanted the first one to be. I think it actually is easier to play with touch controls than with my Backbone controller.

It’s pretty fun. The only thing stopping me from giving this game a 5 is the fact I think it’s better on the computer. It’s still pretty good on phone though. It’s kinda like the first one but from what people are saying it’s just better.

Pretty fun and cozy game!. Having a lot of fun with the game. I enjoy the gathering and crafting system. Might not be for everyone who doesn’t like the grinding aspect. Well worth the $10 in my eyes. Really enjoying it.

Peak Game. I’ve played the first one as a kid and i really liked it, so seeing that this game was coming out i HAD to preorder it. I’ve put a good amount of hours in already and i can happily say that i’m enjoying this game. So if you’re seeing this review YES it’s a must.

Great game. Lots of fun. Over all love the gameplay. The navigation system is a little archaic and you do drop your stuff when you die which is annoying. But overall I’ve been enjoying it and no adds!

The most nostalgic game got a reinventing sequel. I grew up on this game and the sequel absolutely blew me away. The way it completely reformed Woanope shocked me by how creative it was and by how natural it felt. It now truly feels like flux is trapped on an alien planet

Great game but something off. Crashlands 2 is becoming an absolute blast but sometimes the frame rate starts to become a bit buggy and slow. The rest of the game is great is just that I hope the devs will make this frame rate problem for us iOS users.

10/10. After almost a 10 year, Crashlands has still remained special to me. The release of the sequel did not disappoint. This has got to be one of my favourite games of all time.
