WHERE’S THE APP?!?. I’ve re-enrolled and have yet to have the Workday app install! It tells me my request has been received, that it’s processing. When I go to the App Store, NOTHING’S happening! I tap on the install circle and it does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! AND I’m even in the store on the network and VPN! WORKDAY and WORK chat Facebook are two of the others having the same issue. Walmart wants their employees to “Own MyWalmart.” Tools that work would be most helpful AND appreciated!

Not a real replacement for an Intranet. Facebook is more concerned with adding features like pronouns and diversity emojis than adding real intranet functionality like static pages for fixed information. Not to mention as others have already, app updates are very buggy and tend to ruin the experience.

It’s getting worse.. I have been using this app the last 3 years and every feature like searching in chats for messages i might have missed. Setting the do not disturb ON or Off and many more have been removed. This is very disappointing and making me think of switching to a Alternative.

Worst upgrade in the history of software. It is just a terrible upgrade. Multiple devices - they will all keep ringing even when you pick on the other. Integration with LinkedIn is broken. How can you put out a product like this? Did you not even test it?

Pictures don’t send. Last update now pictures won’t send. Not super compatible with IOS15

Speed issue. Something has gone wrong with this version. It seems to slow down quite significantly

Bugs. Unable to view chats on phone app, only able to access on laptop. No support, no self help available. Bugs need fixing.

Stay connected. Incredible way to keep the association in communication and have a tight knit circle with everybody on the same page!

Good when it works. Since my upgrade to iPhone 13, the app doesn’t download messages and freezes. Constant delete and add app, but functionality stops eventually again.

WorkChat. Amazing platform for communicating with groups of people. I love that you can see the photo of the person you are interacting with, it creates a personal experience.

Love Workplace Chat!. I like that it’s separate from the regular Workplace app because it allows me to prioritize my messages over other notifications. It’s easy to use and access to my messages is quick and easy.

Kid Los. Every time I want to load group chat or see messages from previous hours this app glitches and shows a blank screen.

Since the last update this is a problem.. For iphone users for sure. The sound notifications don’t stay on, the “schedule” doesn’t stay enabled when you go through it, and notifications in general are spotty and not reliable. With eXp Realty, this is critical for our referrals. Our tech support won’t help and Facebook says to contact our tech. It’s very frustrating because our company uses this for main communication and lead sharing. Not sure what happened after the last update but it’s a mess.

Update took away features. I WAS LOVING THIS APP...! I enjoy using workplace and workplace chat. But I am so disappointed that after the update I can no longer send audio messages. I use these a lot to clarify things with my employee. They load much quicker than video and they are a quick way to communicate effectively. I use this to keep business and personal communications separate and now I have to resort to using regular fb chat to be able to send audio messages. I am so frustrated. PLEASE BRING BACK AUDIO MESSAGE.

Better filter please!!. This app is a life saver to send messages or a quick call away, but I hate having to cycle through all the ‘Joe’ and ‘Doe’ that work at Walmart. Maybe a filter that I can set for my store to make it time efficient?

Inline replies is a urgent need. App is great, but need updates. This app needs an update asap to make it easy to reply for particular messages (similar to what whatsapp has). It is very difficult to respond to specific messages in group conversations and leads chaos.

Newest Update May 2020 is Terrible for a Great App. This app was one of my favorites for our office communication. It was already simple enough but removing key features like audio messages in the name of simplicity makes this chat less & less useful. Notifications don’t work right anymore either. I feel this was a step backwards in the design and user interface. I NEVER had issues with crashing or the app just spinning upon opening until the newest update was released. I wish I could go back to the older version because I really enjoyed it.

Worked for 5 days. The app worked great for 5 days but now I can’t see my chats on my iPhone.

Voice notes crashing. Since 2020 voice notes are unreliable, very frequently I record a voice note and after sending it, the total time of the recording shows huge numbers like 14 hours and this is when we know the voic emote is not working again

Keep Work and Personal seperate. Love this app. As long as updates are continually pushed I will continue to support. I haven't found any validity to the reviews that hate on this app. It's pretty fantastic.

So buggy and painful. This platform is so flawed. If someone new messages you, you can’t write them back without figuring out how to clear the cache and reload all your data, and the process is different on mobile vs desktop. On top of that, some users show up as themselves, and others as an anonymous “Workplace User” with no indication how to fix it. This platform adds so much friction to work compared to Slack, Teams etc.

Love it. I use the app pretty heavily for work, basically it’s the key tool to communicate with my peers. I find the fact that it’s similar to messenger super helpful because it makes the experience very intuitive. The app doesn’t feel too business-y, but it does provide everything you need (group chats, video calling, document sharing, etc).

Great service, chat app can use work. - audio quality is somewhat poor when compared to other business messengers - more collaboration tools would be handy for screen sharing, a pointer, pencil to circle objects etc. - adding an attachment to chats natively in the app, use the iOS Share feature is a good option. - dark mode for the app - color themes

Review. To many bugs and glitches. Lots of workarounds for most of them. But they should have been fixed rather than developed a workaround.

Notifications. I would like to have an unusual tone on my work chat to let me know that there’s a message DIRECTED TO ME so i don’t have to stop my work to check with work chat, only to find out that it doesn’t apply to me. Otherwise i love that it allows me to communicate more effectively without running all over to look for someone

Voice chat option gone 👎🏻. I loved being able to send quick voice messages in chat. Why would that be take off?!? Thinking of going to another app to chat. Please bring it back!!

Very BAD. Previous year we loved this app there were a lot of features that help our communication. Since last year with the new update, after they increased the price, this app is worthless. What is bad: Calls are impossible to make. Sometimes you can’t see if other saw your message We can’t sketch on the pictures anymore In order to see a picture you need to open and close one by one so frustrating Impossible to download pictures from PC, you need to download pictures by pictures. Etc. etc We are definitely moving to “teams”

Do not disturb. With the update the option to not receive any notification when you are not working has disappeared. That needs to be brought back so the app doesn’t blow up phone with banners and notifications when you are trying to enjoy a day off

Please stop. Please stop making it impossible to use the chat function without downloading a new app. It absolutely kills the functionality for business purposes. Maybe you can justify the messenger app for the market of people who are using the app to keep up with their friends and are using it constantly (still unlikely), but for the professionals using your app we want simplicity and ease that doesn’t waste our time. A new app, with constant pointless notifications, wastes time, space and is not necessary as it worked just fine to chat using the mobile web browser. Please undo this change.

Features are gone.. Hello! I am very annoyed with the new update, it was perfect the way it was before, now there are no stickers, can only send one photo at a time, can’t edit the chats. And so many other features that made this app functional and nice to use. Now it is a constant battle of finding all the changes and inconveniences. I really hope in the next update they bring back key features that made this better and less “simple” as they state it.

Communication. Nice to be able to communicate with others on my team. Very convenient 😊

Smh If it isn’t broken don’t fix it. It was cool to be in a group chat and was able to turn the group chat off two your time preference without going into your phone settings and turning the entire notifications off. “I don’t know who’s idea was that but congratulations you played yourself”

Removed extremely useful features. No more searching the chat? That’s a deal breaker. Our organization needs to be able to search for previous diecuesions, and now we can’t due to the most recent update. Beyond that, the interface has gotten more clunky. Replying to a specific message requires us to swipe up from the bottom instead of just tapping the message and having the interface pop up right there. This is now barely functional for our organization. Please roll back these downgrades.

Lost confidence in purple logo. Does a color mark a difference in how we work and interact on an app. What if Uber was pink? What if the Red Cross, green? It seriously messed with my mind, kept confusing myself with Viber or a spam notification. Why this madness?!!

From Workplace Chat to Workplace Trash with one single update. I’ve been a big fan of workplace by Facebook for years. My entire team of 60 plus uses it every day. Well, they have just massively RUINED IT! The new update is absolute GARBAGE and it’s almost like they went back in a Time Machine to 12 years ago when apps where barely developing. This is horrible Facebook. We expect way more from you. They took away voice messages. I can’t send a short 10 second video recorded on my phone. Voice calls dont work well. It doesn’t even ring. Phone calls don’t work. I mean, the list is EXTENSIVE. Let me count the number of times that I’ve left negative reviews on the App Store.... 1,2,3,4,5. ZERO! So you get the idea. I’m furious. It has slowed down my speed of production and communication with my team by easily 80%. I figured out that if you delete the app and re-install you can get the old version back. I did that and I also stopped automatic updates from happening to avoid getting the same trash put back in my phone (It happened twice until I figured out I had to stop automatic updates). Hopefully Facebook fixes this horrible update soon.

Always a error. Every time open a chat there is the previous conversation in the type bar. I always have to go back and delete it to type something new. This is annoying has has been doing this for years.

Locked out. The app constantly kicks me off, which up until recently wasn’t too much of issue other having to log back in. Now , I am locked out everytime I click accept it states something is wrong with my Internet connection. I even tried connecting with my work Internet, my home Internet and my personal data. The only way I can access it now is to login through one login, then work place then click on chat. So having the actual app for work chat is completely useless.

Unable to Load Chats. Workplace Chat was working with no issues for over a year and out of nowhere is stopped loading chats. I am still able to still get notifications, but I’m unable to respond. I have restarted my phone and uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still doesn’t work. Very frustrating!

Can’t use. Latley the app asks for me to accept then says check internet connection and stuck in loop

Rendered useless since latest iOS update. Since update to iOS 15.0.1 in October 2021: Workplace Chat App does not pull messages over from desktop version. Messages are grayed out and/or disappear. Banner alerts show messages but when you click on the banner the message is not in WP Chat. Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, no change. Big thumbs down here. Facebook is free but my company pays for Workplace?

CALL BUG. When someone calls me within workplace chat, the notication and call screen will get stuck even if I answer it on another device and drain my battery on my ipad causing it to get really hot. For instance, I answer the call on my computer workplace chat app, but I come to my ipad HOURS later and that call will appear as it is still ringing, my ipad will be really hot and sometimes in my backpack, battery drained down from 100% to 1-10% remaining. For now I have shut off notifications on my ipad for this app, hoping it will be updated.

The next best Social Media Platform. Absolutely fantastic modifications to a standard FaceBook page and the communities you can grow are just spectacular!!!! Number one recommend!

Every other update renders the app unusable. Every other update I can’t access my chats because it thinks I have no internet. I have cellular internet on, full bars and it won’t connect. This happens every other update and as one of my only ways to contact my coworkers this means I lose days or weeks worth of information. If I was allowed personal phone numbers instead of this I’d never use it again.

Said I had a message, forced to download, it was Workplace -_-. Okay, so the workplace app is great. I kept having a notification that said I have 1 new message. However, it won’t let you see your chat messages without installing another app (this one), which is plain dumb. I finally decided to download it and it turns out the message was from Workplace saying “Hi _____, welcome to work chat. Reach any worker instantly by sending a message.” Take this one star, you freaking deserve it.

Does this app work for iPhone 11?. I loved using this until I got my iPhone 11. All of the sudden I didn’t have the option to record & send voice messages or send pictures easily. There’s no information on how to fix and now it’s been taking more time to get my work done which is the reverse effect of the app...

Really efficient and easy to use. Work chat is an awesome tool for workplaces to be able to communicate. It’s quick, simple and really effective.

Always let’s calls through. I have my Notifications OFF and I have Do Not Disturb ON and it always lets calls come through. I have to delete the App in order to have some down time. Other than that the app does its job.

Needs an Apple Watch app. This app is good however is lacking an Apple Watch app to fully tie in it’s functionality.

Work chat review. It is amazing,with lots of topics such as photos,gifs,replying and others.However,when I tried to video call my friend on work chat it suddenly started glitching and lagging badly,my video froze and I couldn’t hear my friend properly,she would often cut off in the middle of her sentence.But other than that everything was/worked brilliantly.

Give an option to remove a reaction to a message. Sometimes I accidentally touch a message and a reaction goes selected for it. It is very frustrating when you can’t un-react which helps making things less awkward. PLEASE MAKE THAT FIX ASAP.

Logging in repetition. It’s not a problem with the app in a way, but it always makes me sign in over and over whenever I try to access it.

SSO issue. Latest version does login to SSO but stays inside browser window - does not pass credentials to app itself. Please fix!

Workplace Rating. This is the best app for employers to add there employees to, you can use it for showing schedules, proof of work ect.

One request. When posting a photo to a chat, you can only scroll and select it from the default camera roll. Please if possible allow us to select a folder- between the job I use workchat for and my other responsibilities I have a lot of pictures I need to take and keep, and it’s not practical to be able to keep all the ones I need at the top of my camera roll. On a related note, it would be handy to be able to post pictures and the related comment together to minimise confusion if there’s delays while it loads to the chat (quality photos can take a while)

Extremely Good. This app is very useful for companies big or small. There are minimal to no bugs and it’s very efficient to communicate with colleagues within the barrier of professionalism. Highly recommend!

Unstable. The app stops working after a few weeks and has to be reinstalled.

How do I change my email address?. It does not give me the option to change my email address...

Doesn’t work on Mobile network. The app shows no connection, when connected to Mobile network. Works fine with wifi. Also on mobile network all other apps like youtube, whatsapp work fine.

No Notification. Mine most times doesn’t notify me that messages have been sent. I’ve deleted the app several times and redownloaded it but still happens.

Casuals. Casuals sometimes do one shift a week. There should be a billboard to see major store changes that affect them in a summarised form. Eg. Saturday greeter’s shift on the door. There has been a week of changes. A customer asks for a product that was in aisle 29.

honestly it’s terrible.. i had to download this app for work which is pretty pointless when we already use facebook. not to mention it has a seperate app that allows you to message people? it’s ridiculous! 2 facebook products but 4 apps? makes no sense to me. just stick to facebook - it's the same thing but better developed. literally never works this app.

App is easy to use. I love the efficiency of both the Workplace app and the Workplace chat app because it’s based on the technology from Facebook. It’s very user-friendly and easy to learn.

Constant bugs. This app constantly has errors - at least a couple of times a week causing me to redownload the app. Sometimes messages flow through but I can’t reply Other times nothing updates at all. It seems as though Facebook created then refuse to throw any money at it to fix it. And now they want us to have Facebook currency - hilarious.

Won’t let me select photo albums. I’m prevented from choosing a different album (on my phone) to send photos - meaning I can only send photos from iPhone’s ‘recent’ album.

Just another annoying app I’m forced to use by my employer. If I were to use company equipment for my own use, I’d be fired. Yet I’m expected to use my personal equipment for company use without any compensation. Helping to make them more profit whilst costing me in the process.

Voice messages. When sending a voice recording, it never works! Even you send a 30sec recording it only sends 1 second of the recording! Please fix this!

Application Hangs on Loading. The last version 208 worked fine. 210 simply hangs upon loading despite multiple resets and reinstalls. iOS 10.3.3 - the latest that this phone supports.

Works great. If you are familiar with FB and even if you aren’t it’s easy to use.

Trouble Opening the App. Keep popping up that I needed to check my connection when I have my wifi or mobile data.

Highlights on unread. I like to see the new or unread msg to be either highlighted or on the top of the list Is there a way to set this up

The best tool for a company. We have over 35,000 people using the app in works amazing

Works really well but no Out-of-office feature. This app is great to collaborate with colleagues across various locations. It’s quick to learn and helps reducing email load but misses an important option for work settings: an out-of-office feature. The current Do Not Disturb functionally is not clear enough for others and doesn’t allow for instant replies.

App integration. I also find it frustrating that there are two separate chats. As is a lot of us have fb and fb messenger, and now an additional 2 app to essentially do the same things. Seems the two should be integrated for workplace!

changes need to be made ASAP. Last time I visited the workplace app online via my computer, I recall searching for tips and help for; “How To Delete A Group?”, and then it says, I have to have an app called “Workplace Premium”. What’s the purpose of having Workplace premium or following the littlest of requirements? This has to change for everyone’s benefit, and for the sake of safety, PLEASE give everyone using the Workplace Facebook App the options to block co-workers!!!

WIFI Glitch. It would be nice if the app stopped using my data. I use an Iphone and have set it to only work on WIFI, but when I turn my WIFI off I still get notifications.

Great app. All I can say is that I have been very satisfied with this app since I started using it a few months ago ! It has most of the Messenger app's features and is very easy to use and work with.

No Integration, Useless. The hallmark of a good app is multi-functionality and usefulness. This app is has a one note future and showcases the lack of foresight by its creators for not including it as part of Workplace. The fact that Workplace itself keeps prompting you to download this app makes it clear that they are trying to generate two revenue streams out of one idea. Deleting this and Workplace and taking my business elsewhere.

Annoying. Super annoying having two apps for one platform

Not working properly. The app signs me out after sometime saying error or session expired. When I sign back in it won’t allow me. It keeps going between accept and error in network. I have wifi and data. Sign.

No reason for separate app. This is a work application. There’s no reason to separate the chat from the newsfeed. Cut it out.

Newest update falls short. Hey so the newest update of this app has notifications either appearing multiple times even once it’s complete or not at all. Has become increasingly annoying amongst myself and my peers

Logs out too often. I understand trying to keep things secure. I have to log back in to the app allllll the time. Add Touch ID if you need the log in so often please.

Frustrating. Something isn’t working. It’s not loading my newsfeed fully. It stops after about 6 stories and ends.

Work chat. I like the app think it’s be better if we are able to access outside of work not just when we on the clock does no good especially if it’s important message we need to see

Never stays logged in. STOP LOGGING EVERYONE OUT WHEN THEY CLOCK OUT. Make it so you can’t send messages off the clock, that’s fine. But I shouldn’t have to log in to another work device multiple times a day.

Chat is not showing. Chat is not showing and I have to keep deleting and download the app

Just Corporate Propaganda. This platform has so much potential as a way to quickly disseminate valuable information and receive timely feedback from employees. Instead it seems to be used only for corporate propaganda. Very disappointing.

Scammed by persistent notification to download. So I downloaded workplace, and it had this notification that wouldn’t clear, saying I had received a message, I must download workplace chat to view it. I downloaded the app, and it was just a notification from workplace saying “Hi”. That’s a pretty sucky tactic. Take your 1 star!!!

Notification issues. Keep getting notifications even after setting do not disturb and setting a schedule.

Why. I don’t understand the purpose of the chat app. Why can’t you just chat within workplace. Everything is doubled because of the chat.

The latest update is terrible. This latest update took away so many usable features. Wish I could go back.

Ugh, seriously!. Put the chat I to the one app for workplace. Make it more simple or whatever you need to do. There is no reason we should be switching apps to communicate for work...
