Completely Useless. The update to this otherwise absolutely efficient and reliable app turned out to be another example of inefficient government at its best. Navigation used to be simple, you would add your favorites, and you could see both passenger and pedestrian port crossings at a glance. With the new app, you have to switch from the settings from passenger to pedestrian, quite the hassle. As of August 22, 2019, it works fine on iPhone 8 but it crashes continuously for iPhone 7. Way to go!

Inaccurate useless garbage. App said 30m wait time… it took almost 3 hours to cross, sitting in the desert with a toddler. Garbage.

Times are always Wrong. Terrible app. The wait times are never correct. Walking or Crossing in El Paso. Dear Feds please Fix this app to help us cross. Come on man. Its crap

Not accurate. Several times I have used this and each time all the information has been incorrect. Waiting in line for 4 hours because it said 20 minutes instead of going to another port. Was told the other one was over 5 hours, yet, my family crossed in25 minutes! Deleting this app now. I quit.

Really disappointed in update. I used this app on an almost daily basis as I live in Mexico. Yes, accuracy was not 100% but most days it was close. But this update is useless. First, I lost all of my favorites. When I click on a port of entry to add it back, the entire app shuts down. Next, because I cross so frequently, I liked having the passenger and pedestrian data available on one page. Now I have to go back to the settings to switch it to see the different times. Maybe someday I will be able to add both to my favorites, but that is waiting on the ability to keep the app open long enough to do anything with it.

Nonfunctional. Selecting a crossing will flash the screen of wait times then CRASH. in Tijuana, 0.5 mi from San Ysidro crossing, using “Nearest” function brings up Tecate as #1, am inabulity to get any info beyond high level view, and in case of San Ysidro, only shows east pedestrian crossing with no option to get west. Can get more selecting from whole list but then CRASH. typing into search the keyboard obscures. Part of info presented. Prior versions were at least usable. 2.0.0 is not.

Useless. This app is useless, not current, or estimated

Crashes. The app crashes when trying to add favorites. The app works ok but it lags at time. Going to give it a few more chances. I’ll update if improved or I’ll delete it.

Doesn’t work and times aren’t accurate. Horrible and useless. App collapses when you select a specific port of entry and not one of the 3 ports ever have accurate wait times. Useless.

not even close to accurate times. this app is useless they show 50 minutes waiting line, So I trust it got to the border line with my family and we were there for 3 and half hours from 10pm to 1:30am as we were waiting I was checking the app and every hr was updating showing 49 min to 50 min waiting line. do not trust this app at all it was a nightmare specially when you are siting down for more than 3 hrs with young kids and they need to go to the restroom

Wait Time Accuracy. Hello All, this is a good app to use when traveling back and forth from Mexico monthly like we do. Lukeville border. The wait time is not accurate as others have stated. I’ve tracked the wait time for the past six months and it’s triple. If you see a wait time of 15 minutes, it will be 45, etc. this is very accurate information coming from a frequent travel.

Horrible app..... Dont download or trust this app. There’s a margin of error of about 3/4 hours. It updates every 3 or so hours but the times are always off. Today 9/27 app said 90 minutes. It took 4 hours 10 minutes to cross????

Very Helpful and Accurate. I just downloaded and used this application for the first time. We’re always concerned about how long the wait is at the border when we return home to the United States. After I opened the application I found it very easy to navigate. It’s really simple and the wait times very accurate. CBP updates the wait times hourly. Thanks CBP!

Nice App. I really like this app because it is easier to use than their border wait times website on my phone. One suggestion would be to straight out display vehicle and pedestrian crossing times instead of having to click on the box to reveal. That extra step is unnecessary and gets annoying after a while.

Seems useless. Crossing between Canada and USA at Peace Arch revealed that the wait times are updated every hour, and the estimated wait times are way off

Useless for Pedestrians. As a pedestrian, this app is less than useless. It gives inaccurate information all around.

Handy. Web version has more info and more timely.. BWT -APP- has current wait times and historic usage wait graphs (still showing non-covid wait times). BWT -WEB- has current wait times, near term historic wait times (showed covid times), summary of crossing waits near each other (eg Niagara), some real-time camera views, and a bit more location info. Both are geared toward frequent crossers. If you are an infrequent crosser, both are really lacking in location info. Except in a few cases, you cant even tell what state the crossing is in or its location. Look up the name beforehand - warning: it may have multiple names, but BWT only uses one. Even a general map would be useful, the ability to list by state, or just the state listed near the name. Being able to quickly choose alternatives crossings would help. Even without that, the data is accurate and not hard, but not quick if the crossings are new to you. Just a bit too much unnecessary goofing around when tiny changes would help.

NOT RELIABLE!!!. Times are inaccurate!!! Says 30 mins and turns out to be a 2 hour wait.

Very inaccurate app. Very inaccurate app. You can add at least 45 minutes to an hour to the numbers. I would never depend on planning anything with this app. You definitely will be late! Especially in busy ports of entry.

Completely inaccurate. This app is just another example of how badly mismanaged borders ports with Mexico are. I don’t even know how they estimate the wait times but it’s never been accurate except maybe once. Even the Sentri lane is 3x to 4x as long as it usually estimates it. They could actually have times as fast as this app calculates but the traffic flow at the San Ysidro border is awfully mismanaged and the agents are always creating unnecessary bottlenecks.

Eh…. Time is inaccurate and this app should Have directions to the borders not everyone knows how to get some them.

Incorrect border crossing. The 3 border crossings in Nogales, Sonora are incorrect. One shows in Sasabe which is not Nogales and the other 2 are not labeled correct. Therefore this app is useless.

Great App. It’s great for seeing what the shortest wait time is. Brownsville TX has four bridges. The latest update only allows you to see vehicle wait times. If you want to see pedestrian wait times you have to change the settings. It should allow you to see both passenger and pedestrian wait times so you can decide if you want to drive or walk across into the US.

Complete lie. I think this whole app is driven by fake data. It seems to have no relation to actual border wait times in San Ysidro.

Crashes!!!!!!. Have rebooted phone, removed and installed app. Continues to crash as soon as you click on any port. Can’t add favorites. Please fix this app!!!

Fake. Don’t believe this app, showed 80 minutes and it was more than 4 hours

Your tax dollars not at work. Times are only for wait on American side, not other side. They close the gates to keep times low, to make the bureaucrats look good. Often lines of 4 hours or more while wait times, say 20 minutes

Works fine for Sentri. If you are going on the regular lane, please expect to be in your car for at least 2 hours! As a Sentri user, the times have been precise. I would give this 5 stars, but the fact that it shows incorrect times for the other modes of crossing I am giving it 3. If you're someone who uses Sentri, I would recommend that you get the app! But as for the others, you are better without the app and expect a long wait time, period.

Update every 30 minutes. I like the app with going across but I would love it if they updated the wait time every 30 minutes. Sometimes there is no delay like 30 minutes after the hourly update but people don’t know because why would we leave the house to waste gas and see how long the line is instead of waiting till the next hour only to have it get bigger or smaller.

NOT ACCURATE!!!!!. This app is so inaccurate that it is absurd. It say borders are open when they are closed. And borders are closed when they are open. It showed 30 min wait San Ysidro so we went there and waited 3.5 hrs!!!!! THIS APP IS RIDICULOUS!!! Don’t waist your time with this one

Better than the website. This is a convenient app and translates the information from the website into an easy to use app.

Totally inaccurate reporting times. As I write this review, I'm sitting in the queue to cross the border south from Canada back to the US. The app stated that the wait time was 40 minutes when I entered the queue. I've now been in line for exactly 1 hour and I've moved through one stop light and I'm still 1/4 mile from the border check! The app does not give an indication of whether the wait time is from the USA > Canada or from Canada > USA, so the wait time could have been 49 minutes if I was traveling "TO" Canada instead of "TO" the USA, but I'll never know. The app faq also states that the times may be updated manually by line of site calculations OR automated. I'm guessing neither, since the guy who is supposed to update the times must have taken off early today. In theory, this app would seem useful. While approaching the border crossing, I made my decision where to cross based on the wait times posted in the app, but it was useless.

The worst of the worst. This app is meets just about every negative stereotype of poor government handling. Have been in Baja 4 months and made multiple trips back to San Diego via San Ysidro and this app has never ever been even close to accurate wait times for drivers. The expats of Baja don’t even bother keeping it on their phones because it’s that unreliable, according to their Facebook group. I’m sure they start counting the wait time at some arbitrary point, but who knows where that is. All I know is when it says 90 minutes it actually means somewhere around 4 hours. Trusting this app was a grave error, I didn’t think it could possibly be THAT wrong. But oh it was, and it was the closest I have come to peeing my pants since I was a toddler. The pedestrian crossing seemed accurate. I added one star for that and the decent user interface. It could benefit enormously from a map view guiding you to the correct lane and explanations as to which lane to use (shortcuts/links to Ready Lane requirements, Sentri, RTC)

This is garbage that caused me so much lost time. I’m literally writing this review while waiting in line at the Ysleta border crossing in Juarez and I’ve been looking up the the wait times before and during my wait but it was totally inaccurate! It said wait time would be 25 minutes and I’ve literally been waiting here over 1 and a half hours and i estimate another 35 minutes!!! I’m so livid right now and i just hope i will make it over the bridge with less than 1/8 tank of gas! I will never rely on this app again. I don’t think they have any sort of mechanism to confirm the wait times from the beginning of the line to the end as I don’t think they have the technology in place. You would be better off looking at Google maps and looking at the traffic patterns there!

Needs alot of work. Works half the time, you can’t view the details or add favorites. Can’t recommend it to anyone needing something reliable. Easier to use safari than the app

Wrong info and times. This app is not accurate. I wonder where they get their information from. I cross thru san ysidro and otay and its never accurate. App days 90 minutes but more like 490 minutes. lol what a waste of space

Works a few times, crashes mostly. I open the app, search for the border crossing I am interested in, it displays for a Second and then the app crashes.

INACCURATE. If I could give this App a negative rating number I would. Wait times are no way near accurate! Both times I used this App the wait time was off by 5 HOURS! INFURIATING.....WILL NEVER USE THIS APP AGAIN😡

Why even have an app for this?. Terrible app. Wait times are not even close to reality. The app said 120 minutes, reality 5.5 hours. I would love to find a realistic app somewhere with real wait times.

The worst of the worst. App constantly crashes at random times, can’t believe a developer actually put such a bug-ridden app into use. And when it’s not crashing, it shows ridiculously inaccurate wait times. But, that being said, the app is more reliable than DHS itself. 🤷🏻‍♂️

CBP is the worse at keeping this updated. CBP as always are just lazy they are terrible at updating this app and when you ask them about it when crossing they show little to no consideration. I cross the border everyday and have just not relied on this app anymore CBP really needs to get their crap together or not have this app at all! Is it really that hard to input the information for all crossers to have an easier commute?

Inaccurate. Got to the border at 5:15pm. App said the wait for passenger general line was 240, 4 hours. Didn’t cross until 2:15am, a total of 9 hours. Horrible. Might as well turn the app off since it is unreliable. This is not the first time the app is inaccurate. Frustrating.

Constantly Crashes. Enough said, can barely use before it crashes. Tried on several devices, restarts and resets. A whole mess of other things that normal people cannot even do, tried those too. Thanks Trump

complete disservice. This app is a complete disservice and I would be much better off not using it. All border wait times are GROSS lies. 45 minutes is actually 3 hours. At other times 45 minutes is actually no wait at all. Completely USELESS app that will mislead you and make for bad decisions

Constany crashes. Loaded the latest version. Select the crossing and the app immediately crashes.

Not accurate. Gives you a certain time on border waits and not accurate at all. The app gave me a wait time of 20 minutes and I've been in line for 2 hours already. I can understand it's not going to be exact but that's over doing it.

Wait times are not even close to the accurate wait time.. I was at the Otay border on the Ready lane and the app showed 1h 5m of wait time and I ended up waiting 3h 56m to cross. This is not even close to the actual time. Do not download this app. You will be very disappointed. This is not the first time that this happens.

Better before...don’t update. Why did they take away ability to see passenger and pedestrian times in the same place. Switching at settings is a waste of time...so inefficient. Was much better before update.

DON’T TRUST THE APP!!!!. We decided to go to Otay Mesa instead of San Ysidro since the app said 45 min for the former and 200 min for the later. We ended up waiting 6 hours!!!!! Don’t use the app! Use your best judgement!

Never accurate!. This app is never accurate, doesn’t refresh hourly as it claims...is anyone investing time here? I have and wasted much, trusting accuracy but have been let down time & time again. Uggh!

Inaccurate wait times. App seems simple and easy to use. The Data doesn’t seem accurate. The app shows the same data as the CBP’s websites. All afternoon, the wait was advertised as 110 minutes in standard lane. We, and many others along side us, spent just over 4 hours in line. Need to consider GIGO - “Garbage In, Garbage Out”

Mexico - Lukeville border. Contrary to all the bad reviews, this app was very accurate for us coming from Mexico through the border at Lukeville

Terrible app!. It keep saying 10 minutes wait times, all the time!! You are better off to try guessing the wait times than using this horrible app.

Not accurate wait times. Do not rely on this app for accurate wait times. The wait times are usually 2-3 times the listed times.

Useless - Misleading information. Most of times, the estimate crossing times are wrong. Right now, with a recent update, the app says “60 mins”... I have been in line for 90 mins and I estimate at least one more hour to go. Also, I went to a bridge that was supposed to have a 10 mins line; but the bridge as closed!! Not worth to have this app taking your phone’s memory space.

Crashes when selecting port of entry. The newest update deleted all of my favorites (no big deal), but the biggest issue is the app crashing when you select a port of entry to see further details. The app is still usable if all you need to see are the wait times while scrolling through the list of ports.

Used to be good.. Whoever developed this app did not check it or used it. It closes when you choose a border to verify wait times. Get it fixed!

Good app. Have used this app the last few times I’ve crossed the US/Mex borders in Mexicali, Tecate and Tijuana and it has been fairly accurate on the wait times.

Good design, unreliable data. I find the app easy to use compared to others I have used. Unfortunately it relies on data that is often inaccurate. There is also no place for users to report actual times which can be very helpful.

Not reliable wait time. Doesn’t tell you where they gauge their wait times from so it is way off. Said 45 min passenger car wait time and it took 2.5 hours waiting

Hidalgo Bridge. Says a 55 minute wait time and we were there for at least 2-3 hours. This app is a waste, I do not recommend. If I could, I would give a 0 star rating,

Grossly inaccurate wait times!. Drove across the Peace Bridge (Buffalo) and back on same day. Planned our trip around rush hour. Both times the App was showing under 10 minute delays. Was 50 over and 45 back. Updates to the app were over 5 hours old. This day in age updates should be instantaneous and pushed to the apps. We have the technology!

Not as accurate as before. Like the title says this app was accurate when first launched, but now it shows 45 min wait time and you have to wait twice that time or even more

Inaccurate, by far. Memorial Day 2018, cross Otay Mesa from Mexico to San Diego. App estimate at 2pm says 70 minutes. Took us just over 9 hours. Checking back in with app, estimate never went over 90 minutes during the 9 hours we waited.

Appreciate the app but never accurate. The times are hardly ever accurate. It's just a general idea of how busy the borders are.

Very poor app. I downloaded the app and the fist time I went to use it the app froze and I had to delete it as nothing works. Not worth the trouble !

Do you like darts?. You would have a better chance predicting the wait time by throwing a dart at a dart board while blindfolded. Don’t get it but find this app ridiculously inaccurate.

Inaccurate timing.. Horrible app. Pointless to use. Went to Tijuana to pick up family at the airport. Used the app to see which was quicker, San Ysidro or Otay. One said 55min wait the other 75min. I sat at the San Ysidro border for 3 1/2 hours or in other words over 210minutes not no 55 minutes. If I could give it no stars I would.

Not showing the right time. It’s not current update

Not very accurate. It is now saying a 65 minute wait. I’ve been In line over 250 minutes with at least 30 minutes more. Great idea but if not posting correct times then is useless.

Deceptive - worse than useless. 35 minute estimated wait time at San Ysidro per the app - actual time: 3.1 hours with no delays. As far as I can tell, this app exists only to lie to people.

Inaccurate wait times. Not sure where wait times come from. Posted wait time at Tecate noted as 40 minutes when we got in line. Changed to 55 minutes then 90 minutes. We have just passed two hours and look to be at least 30 minutes out.

Extremely inaccurate times. I’ve had this all for about a month and cross the Tijuana border frequently. It’s incredibly inaccurate. The app was showing 40 min estimated time to cross, I’ve been waiting in line for 4 hours now and have yet to cross. Will be deleting.

Worthless!. The app told me it would take 15 minutes to cross the border at San Ysidro. It took 4 hours! At no time has it ever taken me less than 2 hrs to cross.
