Where are my purchases?. I purchased chapter 1 and it’s not showing up in my app. I paid for it twice and I can’t play.

Awesome!. The artwork and characters in this are fantastic! Leaving the voice actors is an extra bonus. But the way the characters interact and the way the artwork is done is fantastic! So yes I upgraded to the full price version. And to the person who complained about not having enough memory and for the company to accommodate you I recommend you to upgrade your machine or remove things from your machine.

Black Screen and Crashing. I honestly would like to play this game, however the game always gives me a black screen after the introduction and then crashed about 6 seconds later. I simply can't give it a good review if I can't play the game.

Best Otome game in ipad. If you can get the premium

Game crashes. So I really wanted to play this game and also Amnesia but the game crashes right after the intro song. It just goes to black screen without sound or anything. And this happens to both games. Can you pls fix it? I really wanna play it looks really fun..

Can't play. After downloading the game, I was able to watch the intro song with now issues, however once that was over, the game loaded to a black screen with only a border at the top and bottom visible. There was nowhere for me to click to start the game. I even uninstalled and reinstalled to make sure. Really bums me out since I was really excited to try the game - especially after all of the great reviews. Maybe it's because I have the latest iOS?

Uwaaaaaaah~!. This is probably one of the best dating game apps I've ever played. The artwork, beautiful. The voices--I'm actually just glad I get to hear them (I love the Japanese language <3). The one thing that made me utterly depressed was when I was done with the prologue. It offered the in-app purchase, and I was like, "Oh..." and because I can't pay for it myself, I guess I'll just wait or something. It's a bit awkward asking your parents to buy you more chapters on a dating game. Oh well, overall, this game is beautiful, and I hope it stays that way if I'm able to buy the next few chapters or so. If you're ready to pay to get more chapters, it's worth it, even though I haven't even seen it myself.

The Art is Amazing. I really love the artwork. The story line is engaging. The only down side...most of the romances are very slow to start. That and for some reason I seem to cry a lot. ;) I hope to see more. Wouldn't mind seeing a line for Shiranui. Great game!

Not cool. When I downloaded it it wouldn't it said I didn't have enough storage I had 2 GB. of data and it wouldn't do anything I hope you'll fix it I'm a very respected gamer and I wanted to play very badly

Great. Idea factory has some of the best otome norn 9 diabolik amnesia and hako will always have a special place in my heart the anime was good but i still love the original game with the beautiful art.

Useless in my case. The story is good and the graphics are excellent, but the game fails to save my progress. Does that mean I have to play it all in one sitting? I'd prefer not. Please fix the glitch.

One of my Favorites! Don't miss out!. I have this story on my PSP and it is excellent. The story is rich and complex and the characters are engaging. The Japanese voice acting is well done and adds a nice added depth to the story. I HIGHLY recommend this story both to Otome and to Visual Novel fans. Amnesia:Memories is by the same company and I would highly recommend that story as well!

Can't play???. First of all the game took forever to download (like 45 minutes), on top of that when it finally did download the game would black out right after the intro... I closed the game, waited and even shut off my phone but immediately after the intro the game just black screens and does not go back to normal. I can't even play this game how am I supposed to give it a good review??

It costs money every chapter. its good but theres not that much character development and you have to pay money every chapter, and for what in the first chapter I barely saw Saito( I chose Saito's route). Don't get me wrong its good but I thought it would be a faster development. And seriously paying moneh every chapter is ridiculous.

I messed up. I accidentally bought this game while hooked up to my mothers credit card.... I live in fear every day, I should have confessed. It really was an accident, I’ve always tried to buy games just hoping it would go through with no money.... it worked, and then I remembered that my mom accidentally hooked up her account to my phone... I’ve been too scared to play the game... I’m sure it’s great, so 5 stars.

They have this on Hulu!!!. I just found out they have this whole thing on HuluPlus!! It's exactly like how it's written in this! I can't believe this I didn't want to buy the game I'm so glad I can watch this anime instead it's 3 seasons long omg I'm overjoyed

A must play for any otome fan. I've been dying to play this game ever since it was officially released in America. When I saw that it had been made into an app for the iPhone I knew I had to buy it. So far it's a good game. I love the voice actors and the characters. The reason I didn't give it five stars is because sometimes I feel like it can be too drug out and too heavy on the history at times. I've also noticed that there was some liberty taken with some of the translations, which I guess isn't that bad, but it still bothers me a little. Overall it's a good game that I think otome fans should play if they can. I highly recommend buying the premium version instead of paying for each individual route. You'll end up saving a lot of money in the long run. I also recommend playing Harada's route. He's a sweetheart and he has a ton of squeal worth scenes.

Completely unexpected. I went in the game with skepticism but I'm absolutely in love with these guys! I'd never thought I'd love Harada but he's just so adorable! I love it!

App Won’t Load. I downloaded this game over a year ago, played through much of it, and loved it. I redownloaded it a few days ago to play it again and nothing happens. The screen goes black after the initial loading screen with Toshizo. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading but it still isn’t working. Just sad I can’t play.

Awesome. Okay, Hakuoki has to be my favorite anime of all time, I've always loved all the characters, the plot, the artwork, the series, everything. It makes me sad that you have to pay so much to read the stories, but honestly to me it was worth it, although I only bought a small amount of stories, the main ones and Kazama's main chapter. It had very nice music in it, an introduction, and a really nice interface when playing. It had a dictionary to learn more about the time period it was set in and a picture collection you could earn while playing. It stuck to the main story (movie/episode series) while still involving different parts that weren't in the movies or episode series. I would definitely recommend this if you're willing to pay the money. It is pricey, but it is a really nice anime to get into and read.

TheMonths. I have no words....Hakuoki has left me utterly speechless. This is by far the best otome I've ever played by far. If you have any doubts about spending money, don't, this game is entirely worth the money and will keep you entertained for weeks. The art work, the very fabric of the story line is just...amazing.

FINALLY!!! 😍😘. I've seen the anime for this, the 3 seasons, and planning on checking out the movie. But it has always made me sad that the game was only available in Japan or in Japanese! Being a HUGE otome geek, the release of this has been the BEST thing so far in 2015! I cannot be any happier. - they actually kept the voices! - translation is on point and flows wonderfully. - interface is smooth. - Storyline is exactly what you expect it to be. But I've only finished the prologue for now so this review is to be continued! Regardless, thank you for releasing this!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Praise. This game is perfect. One of the best ports I have ever seen to iPad for Otome. The audio is grand and the visuals are crisp and vibrant. It holds up to its PS3 counterpart in terms of story and quality, and is well worth the premium price for playtime and quality. Replay value is high for the different men and options and all romances are interesting. So in short 10/5 it's the Otome everyone is looking for when they want beauty, character, and story.

Buy the Premium version!. Best otome game I've played yet! And if you like it too, you will want to continue after the free demo. It may be tempting since each chapter is only $2.99, but just just buy and install the premium version. It is cheaper to play all characters, which you need to get the full story, and it comes with an extra side story. Unfortunately this app does not have the option to purchase the full version.

Beautiful game BUT!. DO NOT WATCH THE ANIME IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY. It's BEYOND depressing and the ending actually made me regret watching it. Play the game forever, don't.. DON'T watch the anime. Heartbreak awaits.

I've loved Hakuouki for so long!. I was SO STOKED to see this pop up on my Facebook! I didn't even hesitate to get it, and I have already completed Saito and Okita's routes. I don't even care how expensive it is... They can have my money. 😭😭😭 I watched the anime probably two or three years ago and it still is one of my favorites. I appreciate how while it's a love story, it is NOT the main focus of it all. In my opinion this game has a really good ratio of romance and action/story. It has a lot to offer, and I do not regret spending my money on this. Lol. One thing I'd like to address is that I didn't get the Premium package at first because I wasn't sure if I'd really play all of the routes... I want to purchase it now, and it seems I can't figure out how. The link in the app redirects you to a browser page and then that redirects you to the App Store to get the Hakuoki app... It put me in a complete circle lol. I already spent about $20 and I wish I could get the option for the premium package again 😓

I own it on 3DS. It's a pretty good game. I own it on 3DS though, so paying for content here vs already owning it...I prefer to own.

Loved it! BUUUUUT.... I was completely enthralled from the beginning trailer. The detail and voices are phenomenal--the only problem I had was that after Ch1, we have to pay UP-FRONT $2.99 for the next three or four chapters...this is totally wrong for me. I don't accustom to put my personal card info for any Apple apps for justified fears and the fact that the Premium Version costs what...? $27.99--I think--is ridiculous. I love this anime--but no way would I pay that much for an app. Sorry. I give it 4 stars.

Who owns the rights?. I was just wondering who owns the rights to this story and characters - as Voltage Inc. has just published 'Era of Samurai: Code of Love' with the same characters, setting, and near identical story. I've not read the manga, but have watched the anime, and this app is certainly the more faithful recreation, it just seemed odd that a rival company would launch such a clear copy.

Love it!. This is probably the best otome game I have ever played the artwork, story, voices and soundtrack are 100% perfect. It will captivate you so much you won't ever want to put down your device. However the mouths don't move when the characters speak like they should in all the console versions of this app ( PS3: Hakuoki stories of the shinsengumi,Nintendo3ds: Hakuoki memories of the shinsengumi, and PSP: Hakuoki demon of the fleeting blossom)

Worth it. A playable version of the Hakuouki PS3 game, it's worth to play on the go. Also nice story, artwork, music, plot and characters

another "NIFTY" app that's complete garbage. just like their Amnesia app, it plays the intro song...then nothing. literally just a black screen
