In Chinese still?. HUGE fan of the Kairosoft games - I have all except the soccer one. Loved this one too - except....the screens for the "Clear Points" at the end are not-translated to English. Other than not knowing what I earned points for, the game was wonderfully designed! :)

It's good, but.... It is like game dev story, but there are no auras except by using an item. Also your readers increase by advertising only, and they don't seem to affect actual sales? In game dev story you had to save money to build your own console but there is no high end goal in this game. Still worth the money, but inferior to previous titles.

Clone of game dev story. Complete and total clone with different art. Don't bit, not interesting. Shame on you guys kairosoft. I buy every single one of your games.

Pretty much like game dev. Fun and back to the roots of the company. No right combination, you have to connect topics with the target customer. Interesting twist that you help run the city council, adds to the fun. And there are boosts to give your employees, so there isn't necessarily 'best' employees; i didn't hire any new employees after the last branch expansion. So fun, even though it kinda runs out of steam at the end. Worth the money to help independent game companies.

Unofficial sequel the game dev story. Unlike kairosofts other games, this one plays like an enhanced version of game dev story. It's awesome, get it!

Very replayable. I love this company so much! Great game to play if you are bored and is very addicting.

Not worth it.. I'm pretty sure the other reviews are the game developers or bots. But I would not recommend this game to anyone for the price. It is not as good as it looks.

Feels like game dev story. This game shares a lot of aspects with game dev story yet it gives you a fresh take on a kairosoft classic, I have enjoyed this game very much as it gives game dev story the needed polish and updated graphics of current kairosoft titles.

Yesssss!!!!. Finally another Kairo game similar to Game Dev story with some fun new changes! I am in love! Only stopped playing to write this review,happy gaming everyone! I am however going to put my review at 4 stars. Game can only be played in portrait mode. Also this app MUST have rotation added. I hate playing games with home button and power cord only at the bottom, it bends the cord if you're resting it while playing for long periods. This game truly is fun but screen rotation really needs to be added to at least allow the power cord to be up top.

Great Game!. Liked it a lot, liked the details and the simplicity of the game,no bugs or problems. Do wish they could make it more challenging though, but I like it.

Fun Tycoon Game!. I love time management and tycoon games so much. This game offers several layers of tycoon management with hours of gameplay. I do wish it had more material but I understand it's just a $5 app. Hopefully they can add new cities to merge with, office upgrades etc because I love this game.

First kairosoft game I regret buying. Took a few hours to finish even though the pace was so slow that drove me crazy at times. Totally unbalanced game, no skill required to win, just patience till things happen... Kairosoft you did much better with so many other games. Figure out how the end game should be too.

Love this game!. I am so happy to see this new game. It is slightly similar to the game dev. But there are something new which make it more interesting than the game dev! Highly recommend it!

Love kairosoft. Love your games, but please fix the bugs with this one on the iPad. The screen will not rotate, and the lower buttons do not work. Can't wait for the update. I'm sure I'll update the review to 5 stars once I can play the game.

Great Game from Kairosoft (again). I'm a huge fan of all of Kairosoft's games, and this one really took me back to the beginning. The game is essentially a port of their flagship Game Dev Story, but it takes the concept and makes it original and unique. Definitely worth $5 in my book!

AMAZING!!!!. This game is awesome it plays just like game dev story, ad that was just as good if not better! I have a request for the next game though could you guys do an Olympics sim game.-

Good fun from Kairosoft. As expected this game provides a lot of combinations in the newspaper design options. There are some funny moments here and there. The game is slow to start but we are given 19 yrs instead of the usual 16 yrs to calculate score. Overall a memorable title with good replay value. I found it quite compelling to play. I was hoping for more character art variety and I missed the usual funny character names. It is a bit difficult to earn Knowledge points but that does add a level of challenge. I prefer to pay for games and this was worth it. Money well spent.

Good... BUT. You should be able to upgrade your facility like Game Dev Story (great you should buy) Also you should be able to see your town (sort of like a map mode) so you can chose where to scout or ask for advertisement

Not quite ready. This game could be awesome, but it has some pretty major bugs. The back button does not work at all, so depending on where you go in the menu you get stuck and can no longer play. The app also does not handle switching from portrait to landscape and back. It just freezes. I would wait until the next update to purchase the game.

Need improvement. Another fun game from kairosoft! there are only two things that I want them to improve on in this game. 1st is that it sometimes crashes and puts me back into the home screen (save often to prevent loss of game play), 2nd is at the end of the game when theh calculate your clear points, the words are still in japanese. Those are the only two things that they need to fix, in my opinion. Other than that another entertaining game!

The same as the others. This game is exactly the same as game dev story, which isn't even that entertaining. Kaitosoft is only making these games to get more money off of people who are to stupid to realize that they are the same thing. DO NOT BUY THIS, USE YOUR MONEY FOR SOMETHING ELSE

Amazing!. This is a great game! It gets repetitive over a few magazines but it is still a great game!

Finally another good one. This game is as complex and entertaining as pocket academy and game developer. For once I was actually wanting to play past the time frame compared to my normal reaction of " thank god it's over".

A must for Game Dev Story fans. If you're reading this you're probably in the same position I was in. You played Game Dev Story, and you want another game like it. Stop reading this and buy this game. It's easily my second favorite Kairosoft game, and I'm a total nerd who has played them all multiple times. It's Game Dev Story with magazines.

Happy to see another game!!. Kairosoft is my favorite game creator on the App Store and I am happy to support all their games because they are great. I'll admit that I was bummed out to see this game on the Google play store market but not on the App Store but I really excited I can play it on my iPad. Keep up the good work

Button mapping. I love that you guys put out a new game. I've bought all your games and never had any problems. But this this when I started playing on my iPad the button mapping was way off. I couldn't press menu or save. I had to press the buttons like 3 inches above the actual buttons. Please fix!!!

Fun game, but Kairosoft's best. I've played almost every Kairosoft game out there, and this one is fun, but doesn't quite stand up to the best of them.

Fixed!. Hello again I just wanted to say that the game has been fixed and I'm quite happy with it! I love this just like game dev story. Great game! Keep it up KAIROSOFT! I recommended this to my friend by the way. She said she'll get it soon. Also one thing, can u make ur games free? My mom doesn't like it when I get games that cost money. Anyway, love it!

Broken!. Game is completely broken on the newest iPad. Love Kairosoft games though!

Perfect for Older Devices. It's hard to find games that work on my iPhone 3GS without crashing, but Kairosoft always delivers! I've had none of the glitches reported on newer devices. (If you're familiar with iPhone games in general and Kairosoft in specific, not all of them support rotation, so that hardly counts as a "glitch".) Gameplay is a cross between GameDev and some of their "adventure" style games where you send your people on missions to gather resources and ideas. Quite engaging, but rather short compared to Ninja or Beastie. My favorite part is having a penguin, a polar bear, a chimp, and a robot on my staff. :D

Disappointed. I was very excited when a new kairo soft game is released but this one is full of glitches. Which wouldn't even let me rotate with my screen. And the back button doesn't work so I'm just sit there stuck doing nothing at all. Pretty much just looking at the screen after that. Don't get until glitches are fixed.

Fantastic!. I was hesitant to buy this since there wasn't a free trial, but it's the best Kairosoft game since Game Dev. story! I've played so many of their games and it's been a while since I've been this pleased. I hope Kairosoft continues making even better games!

Glitches!. Love Kairosoft games, but this one isn't working at all on my IPad. Menu and Back buttons don't function at all, and no rotation. Like the other reviewers, I can stare at the opening screen and that's it.

This was so fun!. People are saying this is like game dev- I totally agree. It has the same concept of game dev, but just with magazines. I had so much fun playing this game . It took me a week and a few days to complete it. Waiting patiently for the next game :)

When are you going to fix this?!. I have bought pretty much every game from the developer. this game was long waited. However, this one is a major let down due to the aforementioned bugs. Cannot even play for five minutes without getting stuck. If you do not fix fast, I may never buy your $5 game again.

Not sure if you want to buy this? Look. Hey guys. Unfortunately this is the first 3 stars I have given for a kairosoft game. I'm just not so big on horse races (especially after playing Grand Prix story). This wasn't that exciting, but regardless it is a very well made game with a great story line just like the other games. If you know you will have fun with horse racing I would get it. If you aren't that fond of horses, save the money. Still love you kairosoft <3

Wish it worked on the iPad. I have a iPad third gen and it won't work. The title comes up but the back button and save at the bottom doesn't do anything. You can't back out of anything. So sad to cause I love these games and wanted to play it on a bigger screen. Please fix!

Expected better. Buttons are buggy, can't press back because it doesn't register. What happened kairosoft? Your games are always perfect - except for this one. I can't play it.

Another Hit. This is Game Dev with a small twist. Def need to fix the bugs with the buttons and the final score being in Japanese. Other than that, couldn't be happier.

Excellent game! Love it! :). I love all my Kairosoft games, but this is definitely one of my very favourites. :) A bug fix was needed in the original version for the iPad and they addressed it promptly. Thank you! I look forward to many future play throughs.

Awsome game!. Like always kairosoft games are so addicting. One thing I'll point out since no one has said it is that this version of the game works fine on ipod touches. I use a 5th gen. So the problem might only reside with ipads.

Bugs. I always love playing Kairosoft games but this one doesn't allow you to tap the buttons like Back Menu Save This needs to be fixed asap as I really want to play this game.
