Mmm kairosoft... ❤😘. Another fabulous addition! Game ends at year 15? I can easily play til year 30 and not be bored! Kairosoft games are never a let down. Although combos are almost entirely impossible to figure out alone... Everything keeps a steady pace. Get this app, you won't be sorry. :)

For the size, replay ability & price it's great! I've put in about 30 hours and I have 2 cities to go~ still fun as old city buildings keep their levels like franchise chains. Bug: build roads on hillsides for higher property value - villagers can travel across them as well /sploit. Please ad terrain items that go on hills instead.

Very glitchy. Do not buy. I am a huge fan of kairosoft games but ever since they updated this over a year ago it’s been glitchy and unplayable. Please fix.

Need to delete maps. You need to be able to delete worlds once your done with them

It's here!! Been Waiting For Zaibatsu Towns!. Thanks for making Zaibatsu Towns/Venture Towns to iOS. I love this game after playing the Japanese version, this one is just as good as the others released by Kairosoft. A must buy game and it's at 25% sale price for release! Here's to hoping for Game Dev Story 2, World Cruise Story, RPG Story, Pocket League Story and Wai Wai Game Dealer to iOS as well!

Fun but latest update is full of bugs. I have been a longtime fan of this game but I wish I hadn't updated it. Now I can't add new buildings and some just look like blue blank tiles. I can't seem to find new jobs either. I hope they fix it soon because it is otherwise very fun.

Whoa. It was kind of confusing at first but if you read all the pop ups It makes more sense. I loved it.

Surprising Depth, Complexity. This is probably the most complex Kairosoft title released on iPhone yet -- not in that it's difficult to play, but rather in that there are more layers of things going on at once, and it's more difficult to unlock all the special characters and other goodies. On the surface, the gameplay appears to be similar to the recently-released Oedo Town, but Venture Town requires more finesse and therefore would seem to also have more retail value. In an environment packed with freemium games that make players wait for energy to refill or constantly pester them to make in-game purchases with real cash, Kairosoft titles are a welcome change -- pay your coins up front and play offline by yourself for as long as you want. I applaud them.

Another reason why I love Kairosoft!. This is an awesome game! One of the reasons why I love this game and all of the other Kairosoft games is that it's compatible with my second gen iPod touch. A lot of game developers don't make games compatible with the second gen iPod, but Kairosoft does.

Wonderful Game. Ive been enjoying this far more than Edo Town, which was way too easy. This game is addictively fun, while adding a bit more difficulty to the standard Kairosoft formula, adding way more replayability to the game. I hope their next game keeps ramping up the difficultly because their formula is so familiar to fans now that it usually only takes 2 plays to unlock everything. Keep it up Kairo!

Grrrreat game! No in apps!. No in app purchases, great game, love these developers. I hope everybody was more like them, putting out quality games and not freakin' cutepetsalon 2 or some crap.

Another hit for Kairosoft. I disagree that this game is too difficult. It is more intuitive than Oh Edo Towns for U.S. players, as the combos make more sense. I also have fewer budgeting problems, and it's fun to be more hands-on, tinkering directly with the lives of your hapless citizens. Another solid game!

Now Updated for Newer Devices!. Another Kairosoft title has been silently updated to work with the larger screens of newer devices! 👍🏻 You wouldn't know it based on the update which just says 'bug fixes'. Hopefully the rest get updated soon a well. 🙇

Great. Love it! Too all haters- this game was made by a japanese company and released there for a console, then it is made into an ipod game after it is already finished. So there will be no updates. Also, some of the combos may not make sense to us but they do in japan, like the gourmet combo. Last, READ the instructions! They explain it pretty well.

So much detail!. If you enjoy a nice manage-your-own-business type game with plenty of things to do, this is a great game! Plus it's a Kairosoft game, so obviously worth a try if nothing else. 5-stars

My favorite but.... Please keep all the buildings available even the parks so that we can use them over again. The thing that’s really bad is when you invest in a new store and it never shows up to build. I keep losing so much money despite making numerous combos. Please update soon. I really love this game the best.

Now I have all 7. Yup these games are simple and fun. If you like wild crazy fast paced arcade style games this is not what you're looking for. It is a solid game system that has kept us all coming back. Keep it up I'd like to have a whole I phone folder of 12 of these games.

Needs something. I love these games but this game needs bigger land I ran out land so I started a new game it needs more land!

Ok but not as fun as other KS games I have.. I'm a big fan of both kairosoft games and city building games so I was excited to try this one. Several reviews mentioned the touch not responding appropriately and I was having the same problem. I'm playing on my 6s and I found that when I switched from graphics to performance in the game settings that it got much more responsive. It didn't fix it completely but made it much more playable. But in my opinion it's not worth $5 until they fix the problem.

Building and Strategy! 🗻🏢🏨🏡🏠. This game takes the city building formula and brakes it down to the core elements. Now apply some strategy by placing buildings where they need to be and within proximity of your residents. Where you place your building is key to building an ever expanding city. The tutorial will guide you and as you unlock new building it will become more challenging and Interesting. Thank You Kairosoft ... hey Kairosoft, just waiting on the English translation of your Train game "Miniature Garden City Railway". Or else I will have to learn Japanese

Best game yet. I started with Pocket Academy from Kairosoft and it was amazing! Game Dev.... Not so much. The racing one was pretty boring but not bad. I love this game though! I don't see why people think this game is hard. I would have to say it is easier than game dev and grand prix. As long as u have some sort of critical thinking skills, you will be fine.

Easy to learn, fun to master. With it's simple, easy-to-understand graphics, Venture Towns does something awesome: Gives you an intricate city planning game that doesn't look like a spreadsheet and happens to be fun. This game is definitely worth a look.

Good but too similar. I love kairosoft but this game is just way too much like edo towns. If they want to make minor improvements to one of their games it would be nice if they would do it as an an update rather then charging for a brand new game. They really need to take a risk with something new.

Everything I wanted it to be.. This game is more or less everything I expected and hoped for when I downloaded it. Aside from being a good city management sim, there are a number of fan-created "guides" online if you get into the game and need some help.

Great game!. I bought another game by the developer and thought I might try this one. It is by far the best game of theirs I own. It took awhile to get the hang of it, 5 hours of playing, but after that it's been all fun since. Truly a wonderful game with loads of replay.

I just don't get it. Played this game for a week now and I just don't understand this game. The interplay between research points and individual attributes seems complicated and they offer ZERO explanation of anything. And the combos are stupid and make no sense to me. How the hell does a Chinese restaurant, sushi bar and bar equal a gourmet combo? This game is dumb.

Disappointed. I love Edo towns so I thought this would be an upgrade, but I'm sorry to say that this game feels pointless and boring. In today's world, the idea of a game whose goal is to send people on shopping sprees just seems pointless and delusional. I fail to see where there is strategy. For a city sim it would be cool to have to deal with issues like power and cell service, not shopping sprees. Buy Edo towns instead or if you already have it then save your 3 dollars and go on your own shopping spree with it.

Challenge.... this is actually not as easy i thought it would have been. i am always in debt at the end of the year until i get rent, and it's more harder to get the netizens to go to the stores. But it's not easy so that makes it a good game i think :)....keep up the good work kairosoft! i'll be waiting for more great apps!

Really disappointed. I agree with everyone saying this is Kairo's least inspired game yet. Graphically it is nothing novel, and the goal of getting everyone to work and shop is depressing and feels almost evil. The mall game they made was a similar goal, obviously, but due to the graphics came across charming. This game soured me on Kairo. And it kind of irks me that all their games get worse after Game Dev and Hot Springs. Will they recover their creative spark? How ironic that the goal of Game Dev story was ultimately to just churn out sequels--that's all they're doing now.

Good and bad. The good: It's a fun and addicting game, and it gives you the idea that you can build a town of your choosing. The bad: Buggy. Basically, when the game was updated recently, they added a bug that makes it very hard to tap the screen. You can only get the "signal" of you tapping the screen in certain places, and those places change every time a dialogue box comes on. That's why this game only deserves 3 stars. I'm usually pretty happy about Kairosoft games. Yet, this was disappointing.

Awesome. Great game! If youre reading this i think you should get this game because: 1.)the system that uses research points is so easy 2.) its not an online game therefore meaning you dont have to buy anthing to add on 3.) you can choose from 5 unique maps 4.) each resident has their own job and you can unlock new jobs on the way The game is NOT hard at all i truely love it! My favorite part of the game is seeing the residents going to work and spending money at the store. I love it when they hit the lotto too haha  a must have for a gamer of any type

A charming little game. Charming little game that combines elements of city simulators and Japanese RPGs. If you happen to like both genres, you'll find plenty to like here. It wasn't quite clear to me right away how all of the parts affect each other, but that's par for the course and I pretty much figured it out by the end of my first game. Here's hoping that Kairosoft releases map packs for the game to add to the replay value.

Change the town and super town music 😒. Dear kairosoft: this game is awesome but The soundtracks of town and super town i dont like them. Kairosoft change these soundtracks to a nicer tone like the village and burg ones PLZ so I can think of some cool updates for this game.

So soon!. I wasn't expecting another game so soon after Edo Towns but I am STOKED! Bought it right when I saw it, no hesitation. I own every Kairosoft game and they are all addicting.

As much as I like kairo, this one bored me out.. Lets be blunt. Simulation job game scenario: Lack of hints in figuring out how to advance to endgame. A slow beginning, to a crawl to middle, then a speedy finish. Like most kairo games, same cuddly graphics (whom I adore.) Soft MiDi music. (but who plays sim games w/ sound anymore? I.e repetitive tunes) The gameplay has a strong learning curve to aquire, but just like pocket academy. If you don't layout the proper "combos", (unless you cheat and search interwebs. killing the fun in any discovery sim game) then its pretty tough to survive through normal gameplay. Just finished this week: Epic astro, Megamall and now Venture (also have game dev and hot springs). Venture was by far the biggest burnout to date. Sigh. Such a promising company.

Gotta catch em all!. I love you people, I really do. You make the coolest and best games for iOS. I have all your programs so far. I hope more is to come!

Kairosoft at its best. Venture Towns is simply perfection. Kairosoft is imo the best game developer on the App Store and my friend and I have logged a combined 2,500 hours between all of the various games. Venture Town is Kairosoft exemplified, and I highly suggest giving it a try.

Kairosoft has done it again!. I absolutely love Kariosoft games. And once again they have brought us a masterpiece. This game is similar to Oh! Edo Towns, but with a more modern twist. If you want a game that you will love, buy this one.

Kairosoft is addictive!!!. These games are better than other city games because you earn the "money" in game insyead of having to buy it with real money! All you have to do is buy the game up front!

Great simulation game. My favorite moment is when someone gets a 20K bonus at work, then strolls into the Chinese food place with his pet hawk and spends his entire paycheck on chow mein.

Great. Basically the same formula as all Kairosoft games. Very similar to Edo Towns. If you liked that then you'll like this. Same addicting gameplay as always.

Fun but hard......... This game is very addicting because its a very hard game, not like Oh! Edo Town, which was easy. Its graphics are okay, but thing I think that made up for it was the layers of depth. You have to manage well and money is usually tight, however if you understand the game and enjoy managing things or you just want a new game and have an extra 5 bucks, you should probably get this app.😃 Go Kairo!

So addicting!. I love Kairosoft's games, and this one is definitely one of the best ones yet. However, I would love to see some improvements like bridges, being able to move buildings, edit the terrain (add/remove water and mountains etc.), and some way to give people more incentive to move into your town. I find it's pretty slow getting new citizens, and it hinders your cities growth speed.

counting down the days!. I was counting down the days until this one came out. I was slightly disappointed with edo towns because I didn't like the theme, and building was too complicated. This is just like edo towns, but with a few minor additions and lots of changes. I wish they had come out with something completely different like cruise story, but I love all of the games anyway. Kairosoft does not get the recognition they deserve. Love you guys!

good game. good game. there's a glitch causing everything to cost 5000 more than the actual listed price. it's a bit more annoying than oh! edo towns because the buildings in a combo has to be right next to each other and the range of combo is really small otherwise a good, enjoyable game. i'm hoping for a fix for at least the price issue

Awesome. Kairosoft awesome game some people don't like the pixelated thing but i think it works great. Although I do have one suggestion. We I'm looking at my profits for my stores and it has losin money and making money but I want to know quickly so if you could put how much you are making minus what you are losing that would be great. But overall it's great.

Fun title. I think people who are saying it's identical to Edo Towns may not have played it very much. The concept behind the two is very similar, but it's not merely the different theme that sets them apart. It may be fitting to see it as a sequel to Edo, set in modern times, but with many new features. Fun things to look forward to: - Pets! Townsfolk with high appeal can buy pets at the pet store. Different pets will give their owners bonus stats, and encourage them to spend time at the park. - Development events. Spend research points to hold events in your town, giving temporary bonuses, such as increase to movement range. - Many different careers! Townsfolk discover new careers based on business near their office. Once a career is discovered, anyone in your town can try for it, provided you'll sponsor the attempt. I haven't been playing it terribly long, and while I see the similarity in style to Edo Towns, I was very quickly drawn in by the new things that make it all the more fun!

Good works. After finishing first map, I think the game itself is an improved version of eh do town. Lots of new features but basically same mechanics. I do hate the change of combo range tho. Used to be u can have different buildings making combo one box away from each other. Now it seems that it had to be strictly beside each other. Overall, lots of good improvements and changes, could use more money from government tho, the Rent percentage change is awesome but government bonus yearly is too low compare to the high cost of research fees the high tier building requires. Also, please get the whole town yield ranking system back. I think the single building evaluation is not good. Good work guys. Hope you make lots of money and more awesome games.

Decent but not innovative. Very similar to edo towns, I'd expect to see some innovations... To newcomers who have no experience of these types of game, they may find it too repetitive.

Disappointment. I've played every single Kairosoft game and as usual purchased this one as soon a I saw it. This time though I was disappointed in what I found. The idea itself is very cool but the implementation stinks. The biggest complaint is that the usuale feedback mechanism that exists in all kairo games whereby you know exactly why you got something is missing. You will randomly get new citizens and semi randomly get new buildings (some buildings are based on increasing your city size). While a bit of discovery is a part of every kairo game without this feedback you end up with a bunch of research projects unsure of what you'll get so you can't even learn over time. Here is hoping this was.a one game mistake and not a new design direction.

Disappointed. I am a big fan of kairosoft. In fact I have so far purchased every game which they have released. Unfortunately this new title is a direct replica of their last game - oh! Edo towns with little to no noticeable changes. I am not happy but I hope they come out with a better/ more innovative title soon if they wish to remain competitive. To new comers who have not played the previous game, you will enjoy this game. To anyone who has already played oh! Edo town there absolutely no point in buying this.

Fantastic. As usual. The concept is getting a bit old and I wish combos didn't exist, but it's a ridiculously deep and addictive game for 3$. More management games please !!! ( à la Game Dev, Grand Prix and Pocket League ) I'm not gonna lie, if you guys made an MMA or Boxing management sim, I would literally stop going to work.

Enough is enough. Hot springs, academy, edo towns & now this are all based off the same concept.. And you know what, it's not even an enjoyable concept. The combo system & build map are tiresome and non-rewarding. The progression has poor momentum and often stalls. At the higher cost of these games, I expect to see innovation - not carbon copies of the same game. Ive bought every Kairosoft game up to this point, but after the last two disappointments I'm re-considering my loyalty. We've seen some good releases from Kairosoft, and it would be nice to see more. 1 star for feeling cheated, with a game I feel I've played several times before

Nice Game But The Gameplay Is Getting Stale. I love basically all Kairosoft games and get them as soon as I have the time and money, and this one is no exception. But the idea and management is almost exactly like Edo Towns, and even Pocket Academy and Hot Springs Story also have the same building simulation style. I liked Video Game Story and MegaMall Story the best because they were completely unique ideas I never thought of before. My only suggestion to make your games better is to create more unique ideas of gameplay instead of just changing the theme of the gameplay. Other than this I hope you keep producing more awesome games!

Asking for a Refund.... The tapping in the game is very nonresponsive and absolutely ruins the game. An update is unlikely to the game so I would not reccomend buying it. Instead get a game like pocket arcade story or even better the game developer story game. If this were fixed it looks like it would be fun but for now I'm going to ask for a refund from Apple.

Kairosoft. It's a kairosoft game. Cult following and with good reason. All their games are true to the simulation genre that is pretty much nonexistent thanks to today's blockbuster games.

Not what I expected.... Usually when I think of Kairosoft, I think of amazing games and what not. But this game REALLY DISAPPOINTING. It's exciting at first but gets boring later in like a day. You're better off with the others ones..

Fun but not as good as others. A fun game by Kairosoft, but this game is not nearly as fun or UD as pocket academy or Edo towns. Hold your money for world cruise story when it is released!

Terrible!!. Although..... I'm a huge Kairosoft fan.... I own all their games I am extremely dissapointed with their lack of: 1) updating anything!!! they clearly use the same engine with a slight difference then they give it a new title an sell it.. 2) they don't read any of our post or comments 3) they dont fix anything on any of there games.... Last but not least give us the sequel to game dev story 2 already its the only reason every1 is here!! Tired of giving you 5 stars on the same games BE CREATIVE!!

Done it again!. Whenever I see a Kairosoft game, I just have to buy it (but grand prix story sucked).

Doesnt respond to taps very well. So every time I want to tap in this game be it their menu or trying to see the residents stats etc it takes me a good 4-5 taps instead of it being only 1!!

Another great game!. I really like this conglomerate game. Kairosoft never fails to delight. I really like how your residents can get pets and vehicles too.

Ups and Downs. + different maps + a lot cool buildings + random events + different jobs - hard - you will be in negative dollars if your not so good at economy games PLUS it's they're is soo much different buildings and jobs you can find

Great! However.... As much as I love Venture Towns, there is an error when I place a vacant bldg. When I press on the vacant bldg, it says a new resident has appeared, when really nobody moved in; please fix.

Love Kairosoft. Another great game from Kairosoft. This one is very similar to the Edo Town. Fun and addictive.
