Great adventurer management game. Reminds me of the old Majesty pc games and more recently, Little King Story. Wouldn’t really say Stardew valley in the least, so if you are thinking of plonking the money down looking for a croptending, relationship building focused game, this ain’t it. If you are looking to run a small town and the adventurers that protect it, it’s pocket money well spent.

Good game. I would really like for devs to make a DV 2 and I would definitely buy it. Or make more content to this one. Game is so freaking addictive that once you accomplish everything you are left with the desire for the game to be infinite like those ascending games where everything get reset but you get an extra benefit every time you ascend. This game worth every penny and would love to see more 🙄🙄🙄😁😁😁

Engaging game, too short. Maybe it's a testament to how fun and engaging this game is, but my major complaint is that it's too short! I do admit that I played pretty much nonstop for a good several days, which makes it clear that I really enjoyed it. Some reviewers were disappointed in not being able to micromanage all the actions of the characters, but I think that's approaching the app in the wrong way--if you think about it more like a SimCity, where you build and let the city go about its day in accelerated time, it will be much more satisfying. As I mentioned, the game is too short, which I think makes it not as desirable for replay to me. I already put so much time into the village I have--I don't want to abandon it now! I know you can just keep playing--which I did for a good many more 'years' in the game--but the lack of goals makes the satisfaction in experience limited. But overall, the fun I had playing was more than worth the sale price at the time.

Can't stop playing.... This game has surpassed my expectations in so many ways! I love it! Love all the little Easter eggs like giving your facilities bras increases the appeal level haha. Only things that can be fixed are 1: you can't just rotate a facility and place it back down in the same spot, you have to move it to another spot then move it back if you just want to rotate it. 2: you can't later change your adventurer's job if you decide not to when you're initially prompted. Other than those two things I LOVE this game. I wish it would just keep on going! Definitely worth every penny!!!

Sequel?. Definitely my favorite of all the kairo games. Wish there were a direct sequel.

Solid Play. I’ve literally written a game review one other time, (for the Kingdom Rush Series - Great games as well) but this game is truly a very solid game. Great value if you like a challenge. Reminiscent of Stardew Valley, but building the town is much more fun to me than living in it.

Great Game. I was looking for a game like this, and after some research I found this game kept coming up online. I tried it and currently love it. Would love to see a part 2 down the line with some new stuff added to it.

Hooked so fast!. This is the kind of game I love. Simple, rewarding, charming, fun. What more could I ask for? Awesome game!

Hits the formula on the head. Like other Kairosoft titles (I love GameDevStory) this follows a very recognisable formula, with minor tweaks to suit its theme. It's very addictive, and consumes time like few other mobile games. If you like the others, you'll like this. You need only question whether you want to spend the money for what amounts largely to a different theme on your existing game. There are a few odd things, and a few requests I'd make to take it even further. One is that it allows pinch zooming, but doesn't look very good at any zoom levels other than the standard. Along the same lines, the graphics are a bit fuzzy, generally - obviously pixel-art is the intended style, but there's a general softeness to the rendering that is a little hard on the eyes. It certainly doesn't show off what a Retina display can do. It also suffers from the same issues as their other titles, where pseudo-random events have disproportionately large impacts, given the compressed time of the game's tasks (quests). For example, having a couple of heroes decide to go shopping instead of questing can lose you half the time of a quest, costing you a big penalty to extend the time, or forcing you to abandon it. Having a way to more directly control your minions might help alleviate this, or else don't count their time spent e.g. shopping against other deadlines.

Love this game.. Love this game, owned it since the beginning and it moves from one device to the next as i update. Now i see a part 2 and sheesh i will have to buy that one now. Hopefully it is also offline play.

Aspect Ratio Broke Itself. Whenever I turn my phone on its side I get about 2 inch black bars in each side and the buttons are all messed up and when it’s normal vertical all the buttons are extremely small and at the edge of my screen like the size of a couple hairs it completely ruins my experience I was having such a great time too now it just won’t go back to normal

Can't get your income high enough??. For those with issues getting their income high enough to advance- that amount is not your total cash at hand, and it is not a total of what you make per month - what they are asking is to have one month where you've made that much after expenses. So to get that it's easiest if you wait until just after a quest, let your adventures go shop like crazy, and don't buy anything. My only complaint is I suddenly reached a point where the mobs are much stronger than my adventurers and it's really difficult to beat quests. I have too much money and still can't beat quest without waiting and extending the length even with updating their items and things so it is getting very tedious.

Awesome game needs more updates. It's a sweet game but needs some stuff added please don't ignore what everyone has been saying in reviews The updates needed are: 1. Speed gets really slow when u get higher up in the game..please make it so it runs at normal speed like at the start of the game 2. When u beat the game u should make more places to make towns at with new things for ur ppl to kill and new items and stuff. Would be huge if u did that :3 3. Like others have said..make it so u can control ur person and when u don't want to use him cuz u wanna work on your town just have a simple button and u exit that and he will do things freely. 4. New things to build if u make new maps to play on also new weapons :). 5. Make the AI alittle better..they should try to run if they are bout to die and also make a item shop where they can buy hp items to use while fighting so they can have a better chance when the strong monsters start coming out. And the AI's r kinda dumb around town..wish they would buy better armor and swords buy themselves so I wouldn't have to and I'll make new stores but they will never go to some of them no matter what I do. This is all I have :3 hope u look at this makers and do updates like this little by little to make the game one of the best

Amazing, addictive, awesome. There's only two reasons I gave this game five stars instead of eight... Number one: Because it's impossible, the AppStore just won't let it happen. Number two: Because I think it should be illegal, how incredibly, amazingly, horrifyingly, all consuming, and ultimately mind-numbingly addictive this game is. I missed several homework assignments because I could not stop playing! The creators have outdone themselves, everything about this game makes it totally worth two dollars. This is possibly the most fun a man can have for two dollars, since, like, the eighteen hundreds. I have no regrets! Beautifully done game!

Good but.... ... it could use a bit more documentation on how things work and an update on how the controls work when moving in menus by swiping. For example, every character has a thing saving Level: 8 next to their job no matter the level until they get to max. I'm also a bit confused by how the shops work. I've seen characters buy items they already have and don't buy things if a slot is empty. Do you have to give them armor, weapons, etc. and then they'll randomly buy that item from time to time? It'd be nice to be able to see a characters current/max HP on the same screen along with other things to make the UI more user friendly. When in landscape or not using buttons, scrolling to different menu items is a bit wonky. You'll end up making the next screen pop up and pressing back when scrolling through characters and items which can be a bit time consuming. The final thing is merely cosmetic. It seems all Kairosoft games do this but it seems odd to have as big of an unused black space around the edges of the game area as there is. Why not use the whole screen? Doesn't affect gameplay at all, just seems kinda strange.

Great !!!!! But...... It's way to short you need to make it so I can get a 10 star town not just 5 also make the place biger so u can upgrade your town again and also new armor and weponds would be cool some new people !!!! LOVE THIS COMPONY. I don't care what people say this is great I am a big fan of all your games I have 7 out of 12 of your games and I am trying to get all of them I am never bored and after hours I do but I have 7 so get to go to another one. I thought I would never say this about a company but I am your biggest fan I love this I have been looking so long for a game like this then found more after more I am hooked can't stop have stayed hours and hours playing all the games but 5. Anybody who wants to get any of the games you should and need to it is great because they are never the same when u start over you can do different thinks.

Great game, but needs improvement. Overall I'm having a lot of fun. However, there are many things that need to be improved from modifications to glitches. The fireball that the magician attacks with often doesn't damage monsters. The info page for each character always says the character is lvl 8. Monster introduction pages come up long after monsters appear. The difficulty of quests fluctuates constantly; one quest is way to easy and the next one is impossible. It is too easy to go into negative funds. Make the improvements and the game will be amazing.

Great game! Worth the purchase!. I really enjoy playing this game. This is the second game I have bought from the App Store in all of the 7 years I have owned iPhones, that is saying a lot about this game. I think it is great that you get an entire game without in app purchases, so you can have the same content as everyone else. You advance based on skills and playing time instead of how deep your wallet is. The village management is fun plus the side quests are great. Try the lite version first like I did then buy if you like it.

Has the potential to be an essential. PLEASE NOTE: I AM ONLY GIVING THREE STARS BECAUSE I WANT THE DEVELOPERS TO CONTEMPLATE ON A LEGITIMATE REVIEW DEVELOPERS CAN GROW OFF OF. First off, i would like to say how thoroughly impressed with how this game turned out to be. This game to me is still better than those garbage free to play multiplayer army city builder games that require IAPs (in app purchases) like Clash of Clans that have been over washed to the point of no more fun out of that genre anymore. Anyways, enough of me rambling and time to get in the nitty gritty of this game review. Alright i'm gonna ahead and talk about how i felt going through my first play-through. Yes i had a blast playing this game while it lasted, but it was also very short lived because of the leniency this game had. No city disasters like fires or anything of that kind to make you rethink how you're gonna layout your city and so forth. Additionally the villager system is also much like fallout shelter with more of them coming in upon upgrading your base/ town. Now i'm gonna move onto what i would love to see from this game in the future. FAIR WARNING: some of my ideas might not make sense to integrate, but would totally make this game that much more fun to play in the long run. Like i have said previously, this game was way too lenient for me personally. Put in some natural disaster's or something to make it more of a challenge. Maybe villagers actually dying when they go down if a difficulty system is added, or something that has some major consequences if you don't pay attention to the small things. You know? Maybe actually having to go restock your stores from somewhere after a while to make you spend your excess money on. Trust me, you get a lot of that. Never allow a game to be played through like i am walking through a daisy field on a 70 degree sunny day IMHO. Another thing i would like to see is way more customization options in the game. Whether it be the way paths look or building/ villager customization. Would give you the feel as if no could ever have the same town as you. Making you wanna grow and change up your city even more. There's also a sense of what is their left to do after you get to 5 stars for your town. Honestly, the only way i can see this being counter-acted is if you allow cities to have different ways of getting things done. Like, instead of having villagers quest. Have an option for what kind town you what yours to make money off of. Put in a mining town option or something like that because there have been cities in the world like Dubai who have profited majorly off mining. Just having small customization options like that can completely change the way the game is. Lastly, what i would personally love to see out of single-player games like these is being able to interact between saves you have to maximize strategy. Going back to what i send about being able to choose the way you make your money from, wouldn't it be cool to be able trade imports/ exports between your towns? Needs fixing. It’s a fun game but it should show the armor they have on but I still recommend you play it.

Great game, gets really hard. Dungeon Village was a very fun game to play, however, later on (for me especially) it got extremely hard with dealing with monsters outside the village. It got to the point where I can only kill that one monster when a group of adventurers just happen to leave the village at the same time. I get the idea that teamwork amongst your villagers is trying to be developed here, but there's no real way for you to specifically make them work together. A very good idea to fix this is if you add some sort of "squad" or "guild" where they make a group and go out all together instead of heading out one by one to their dooms. This would be especially useful since there are some adventurers that are starting as support classes, such as priests with healing capabilities (and really why would they go out on their own?). Maybe even make tactics (or better ai) in the game since sometimes warriors will do magic when their regular attacks are far more powerful because of their fast attack time and combo possibility.

So much freaking fun!. In a system dominated by in-app purchases and secondary currencies, one company managed to change the rules forever... but enough with an action-movie trailer! This game's incredible, for it doesn't only manage to create an addicting iOS experience (we're talking Civilization V levels, to those who played it), but aside from the $5 dollar price tag, it doesn't charge you a DIME for any additional content. Everything else is free! The games ridiculously seductive; I must've played for over 10 hours with this game. It's quite a challenge to play, and you have to adapt fast to the situation around you, but it's oh-so rewarding. My only complaint is that the game slows down at the end, and those raggin'-fraggin' 3-star requirements! Other than that, it's solid, and it does much to test how good you are at management. I highly recommend it!

Amazing. I love this game as much as or even more than other Kairosoft games. It does need a few tweaks though. For example, the cauldron should be better explained, I have no idea what I am doing with that. Second, adventurers should be able to change their jobs as an option, not a yes now or no never type of deal. Also, the requirements for the star ratings should be put somewhere, I don't know what's stopping me from 4 stars. But these are minor problems with an excellent game. Congratulations on another one out of the park.

Good, but needs more end-game stuff.. The game is great until you get the fifth star for the village, but after that it gets pretty dull. I would like there to be challenges after the fifth star- maybe things like "get your income to $150,000" or "defeat 1,000,000 monsters". I would also love special monster attacks after the town gets the fifth star- maybe the dragon family can show up at once, or there could be huge mega-versions of monsters that are very difficult to defeat. I have faith that the designers will implement these in time though, and I look forward to giving the game a fifth star.

Great, but could use improvements. I love this game, but it needs a few more things. Maybe more bosses, a better story, and a longer game. Also, there is a glitch where the houses and double-tapping an adventurer always say the adventurer is lvl 8. I do love the game, I just think it needs improvement. However, it is still a must buy. Along with the above changes, I think you should add more late-game. You can just buy all the best equipment for all of you're kairobots and princess prins, and try will be ridiculously op but the STILL cant beat packs of mobs by themselves. The late mobs are worse than the bosses even! just add more and take everyone's suggestions, they're good suggestions.

Amazing concept / mediocre execution. I was very excited about the concept of this game. I found myself rather disappointed. The stat bonus system is absolutely tedious! The game has MAJOR balance issues - toward the end equipment doesn’t even matter since your character stats are enormous in comparison. All my characters get 1 shot killed and only win by mobbing enemies. The jobs are ... bad. Most of these (like merchant, Carpenter etc) should just be aspects of town building. I don’t want to fight dragons with merchants, carpenters and ... clowns??? The endgame character class (no need for diversity because it dominates everything) is literally a blockhead. The present / medal system also silly and tedious. I wanted to build a town, attract character classes based on how I developed my town (which would five replay value) instead of “collect them all.” I was looking forward to the passive nature of this game but found myself constantly sucked into tedious tasks. Worth a play through but ZERO replay value. The concept is amazing. If the developer had consulted to implement better and more traditional rpg mechanics for the characters this could have been such an amazing game. Turned out kinda mediocre.

Dungeon Village 2. I will happily hand you my monies for a sequel, or for additional content for this one. Great game

Unique idea, good enough execution. 4-stars for the game and gameplay, an extra star (or two) for putting a city building game in the app store that takes a risk and does something different. If i have to gripe, I wish the touch component was a little more accurate but that might just be the product of a big game on a small screen. I also wouldnt mind having a little more depth in the characters or the items, maybe a stat or two more, to feel like I have some more choices to make. All in all a game that provides what it advertises. Nothing too flashy, but it's entertaining and scratches the RPG/City-Building itch.

Wonderful game. This game killed a lot of time for me at work. It is nicely paced, not too hard but not too easy, never frustrating and has lovely little graphics. It's sort of like those time management (farmville) games except way more fun, you never pay extra for anything in game and you don't have to wait hours to play it. The combination of a turn based fighting game along with city management is quite ingenious and I wholeheartedly recommend this game to any avid iPhone game player. Great for all ages. Thank you for the lovely game!!

10 years and going. I’ve been playing this game on and off since high school, and I love it all the same! It’s super addicting and adorable. I’m playing through the game again before going on to DV2. :)

Best App Ever. This is the best app I've ever played. It is so addicting and has infinite length. All it needs is an update where you buy a new and way bigger town area and everyone moves in. No ads. No bugging you to rate it or buy content. It is so worth the 4 dollars. Plus the game size is only 11 megabytes. For those of you who are stuck because you need more income. It's the total amount of money gotten from your shops in one month. What you need to do is upgrade all of your shops with items. I would first max out the inn because its the most used. The game length is nearly infinite because to "beat" the game you have to max out all of your shops, all of your people with every job, and unlock every item. Get it and you'll have loads of fun.

Be wary.... When you buy this game and play it for a little while to understand how everything works, before you even have a chance to realize it, you'll be sucked into an addictive whirlpool that will keep dragging you back into it if you try to get out. In all seriousness, this is an enjoyable game and I highly recommend it; even at the price they are charging to play it. You start by building your town and then a villager will show up that will buy armor, accessories, etc. and then he will go fight monsters and level up and come back to your town to stock up on supplies or rest...and then another will show up and do the same thing and before you know it, you'll have a entire army fighting for you. They level up and get new classes, too. All and all, I recommend it for those who like building games combined with RPG elements. Good luck out there in dem dare fields. It can be brutal.

Fun, but very short.. For $4, I was honestly not expecting to finish the entire game in 8 hours. I had a lot of fun playing, but once you reach the maximum star rating, there's not much left to do. You generate so much money that you can pretty much max out everyone without a second thought at least 20 times over. The buildings, though different, serve the same purposes. There are only four boss monsters and the rest of the quests are all handled by artificial intelligence so you don't control your village. Regardless, I enjoyed this game, I just wish there was more to it rather than starting over again with a new village each time.

Fun and No Extra Purchasing. Love this game! Essentially you build a cute town where, depending on how great you make it, Heros show up to spend their money and live. You can send them out on quests or watch them go out and battle area monsters on their own. Tons of stuff to do and upgrade but there is nothing to pay for with cash after initial game purchase. There are 2 save spots so you can play more than one town at a time or have one for a family member, which I wish more games would do. Well worth the price in my opinion. P.S. Kairosoft never does content updates on Pay Once and Play games so stop asking. You buy it as a full and final product. Their games are well worth the money and I replay them frequently.

One of their best. I keep coming back to this every few months to play through again. I really wish that they would make a bigger badder sequel! Highly recommend this one. The paraplegic is also a very fun Kairo soft game to check out as well as ninja village.

Another Great Game!!!. Kairosoft never lets me down when they put out a new game. I always check to see if they have put out a new game yet because these games are so great! My only complaint is that they should put out more of these games! I would seriously buy their next game if it came out tomorrow! For those people who think the price point is a little high you are wrong. The value you get from the game is worth it. I have already played the game for at least ten hours, and I will probably play it for ten more!

Great. Hi this was one of the best games I have ever played. However I must disagree with people on a couple things. 1.the monsters are only harder if you don't have a knight and an archer. Also better armor and weapons help. I can take down the numerous spawning dragons near my city with merchants. 2. the carryover effect IS helpful. with only two medals you could have a knight trampling all monsters in you path and have people pay more for your high level inns ( the carryovers are keeping level of building and any unlocked classes). A very good game, however.... I'm not sure if it was just me making poor choices, but all of my adventurers are totally useless. Most of them can only survive one or two hits from monsters in the late game, and those that can survive more have been in the village since day one, and thus exposed to the most training. Also, any classes that use magic can't seem to kill anything, as when tax day rolls around, they always seem to be exempt. One last gripe I have is that the stores are only able to be rotated facing towards you, not away. I realize that this for aesthetic purposes, but on a practical level, it creates many problems involving building placement. If these gripes were fixed, it would make the game great, instead of merely good.

Amazing game. Been playing this game for years! It’s always a great game to come back to and beat again!

Good concept, poor execution. I really wanted to like this game, and did up until about 10 adventurers. After that, the game fell apart. 1. Too many useless classes. Every class should be combat oriented with a role. 2. Adventurer AI is awful. It held together fine at first, but now every time I look outside of town I can usually find a group of 5 downed adventurers (usually low level) being camped by monsters who will inevitably kill them once they revive. Nearby adventurers will just ignore this and continue to stand still and await new spawns instead of saving the others. At any one time, expect around half of your adventurers to be down, usually more. Adventurers also refuse to group up, and will always feed themselves into groups of enemies one at a time. At one point, I had 19 people down right outside of town due to a monster mob challenge I had started. Just 5 of them alone could have killed the group of monsters, but because all 19 chose to fight one at a time, they all went down and were re killed every time they revived. I had to wait until the respawn timers happened to match up for the mob to be cleared, which took over a month in game time. 3. The monster scaling is awful. The monsters seem to scale off of your best adventurer, which means new adventures are going to be one shot by every monster. Not only that, but because the adventurers only gain xp if they survive a monster encounter, they will remain a low level. This cycle will continue unless you manage to get lucky and the noob hides in the back and lets max level adventurers take the hits. I have level 1-2s that have been around longer than max levels, purely because they keep dying and getting no xp. 4. Adventurers do not buy equipment. In my town of 4000~ pop and nearly $1,000,000 in the bank, my weapons, armor and accessory stores all run less than $2000 profit. If you want adventurers to have equipment, expect to micromanage every one of them. Otherwise, you can just expect that this (relatively important) game mechanic won’t work.

Good game for 5 hours. The game is fun for a while but once you get all the upgrades, all the expensive items, and like 15 villagers, it gets pretty boring as there isn't much to do after. The game is also pretty weird since you need to upgrade your buildings with blankets, cheese, meatballs, women's bras, and other strange items to end up giving you more money when the villagers go into those shops. If you have played, you would understand. One last thing is the whole present thing. If you want to beat it quick, be sure to give all your villagers the most expensive presents because after a couple battles, they go into those shops and buy the exact same item over and over. Keep them updated with the most expensive items, and you're good to go. Also, you don't need paths connecting to anything, but it adds appeal. I suggest you build your buildings all together, and your houses all together. That way, you can get the price and appeal bonus from the buildings being so close. All in all, the game was alright. I wouldn't say it's my favorite, since it feels very limited after a certain point. I give it a 6/10. Take it as you will from someone who has had the game for only a day and has already accomplished everything.

Those little finishing touches.... Dungeon Village is a fairly straightforward and deeply engrossing management RPG. Though it lacks true depth, it makes up for it with deviously perfected advancement and reward mechanics that have eaten up more of my free time than I care to mention. It does have two serious flaws, however. One, once you have reached the 5-star rating plateau for your village, there isn't much else left to do. Two, the game is currently afflicted with a bug that will not allow late-game characters to advance past level 8, which means that your other characters will never have access to the job types they bring with them. I guess it's not all bad. At least it'll give you a reason to put the game down.

Best app on the App Store. It's an RPG and a Mayor-Town Builder all in one app!!! And the best part is it has no in app purchases! In a world were in app purchases are so common you can see them lying out on your doorstep, not having to pay money to PLAY THE GAME (aside from the price to buy the app. (Which is totally worth it by the way)) it's nice to see that there are some innovative new ideas around this in app purchase economy. This game is an underrated masterpiece and should be shared and played for years to come. 5/5 would replay again

Not bad, but could be improved. I highly doubt a content update will be come to this game, but I might as well leave my feedback. I’ve been playing this game along with numerous other Kairosoft games on and off for six years. Dungeon village was my very first Kairosoft game, so it definitely holds a place in my heart. Looking back on it now, I do have some comments to make on it. The monster sprites are original and captivating. The monster expeditions are also very reminiscent of the RPG like gameplay the team was shooting for. While the art is great...the gameplay is mediocre. There isn’t necessarily a story, which is usually ok for a Kairosoft game, just not this one. RPG stands for role playing game so there needs to be a story to actually role play. This lacks any story or purpose for the village and fighting monsters. While I say this, I also know that Dungeon village is one of the earlier Kairosoft games, so I keep this in mind given the fact that they’ve improved a lot on the quality of games they’ve been putting out. All in all, great game, worth a play BUT if you don’t want to get your hopes up or still want an RPG like Dungeon Village I’d recommend Magician’s Saga. It’s also a Kairosoft game and I really enjoyed the execution of it.

Brilliant game. I love the game. Feels like stardew valley but better. The graphics give a great feeling like I’m playing Super Nintendo. Look forward to updates and possibly a part two 💰💯🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷

Finally.. Finally a game I can stick to on my iPhone. I've never been one to play games on my phone solely because I feel like they aren't worth it or are boring but this game caught my attention. I'm into the "fantasy MMO" idea that many games have and I also find it cooler that I can be the guy running the show and making these adventurers become legendary warriors of time. Theres so much to do and you don't have to deal with the "This task will be complete in 3 days and 4 hours" aspect that many games have. I highly recommend this guy but I recommend trying the lite version first as a small test. If you were as hooked as I was after the first (in-game) year then you should definitely buy it.

So Addicting but short. I tried out this game after playing the lite version and I loved it. The game is so amusing, the town building + rpg elements are things I loved. Kinda like the ___craft games + secret of mana series (minus control of the fighting, it's all automated) The downside of this fun little rpg is length. It's over before you know it. Once you upgrade your town to 5 stars, that's the ceiling. You can add a few more houses and the game comes to an abrupt ending. The game just tells you it's over and gives you an arbitrary score on how you did. Which means nothing. I'd estimate the length to be 5-8 hrs. There were some things I would add or change. Maybe few more bosses. (Currently its just a few dragons recycled twice). Some story. Stuff added after you upgrade your town to 5 stars (Move to a new location). Characters actually buying stuff more often from weapon/armor/accessory shops. I still say its a buy. One of my favorite/addicting games I've played in a while. If you're on the fence play the lite version and you will likely buy the full like me.

Fix this bug. Love all the kairosoft games and this one is no different. Brilliant design and fun as ever. Small bug has halted my play though. After reaching 2 stars my profit earnings freeze and I can't rank up to 3 stars. Fix this and it's easily a 5 star winner

Great! We want more!. Totally addicting game! I love the variety of characters, classes and weapons available, and the simple yet addicting gameplay. We need more though. Once the town is fully upgraded, there is still some, but limited, content remaining. More content needs to be added to the late game to keep people playing for longer. I am enjoying leveling all y characters anyway. This is a MUST buy at $0.99

I love all Kairosoft games!. As stated above, but for some reason no matter how many times I play I cannot reach level 5... The money level but hovers below the 70,000$. But other then that I really enjoy playing this game. Thanks very much for all your fun games.

Addictive n fun!!. Fun and addictive game, game finishes within a day could make game story line longer or add extra levels n missions. To reach maximum 5star i had to block entrance to field otherwise cant get income to past 70,000!! Anyways was fun until run out of goals to get.

Excellent. This game is awesome. Keep up the good work. But in my opinion, it needs more. Because after you finish it, playing it more just seems pointless.

Great game!!. Is a little too short but has high replay value if you wanna beat your old score. Unlike other reviewers I found it relatively easy to get 5 star level. The trick is to buy the right buildings not all of them. Buy the one that give the most benefits to the adventurers and upgrade them by using items on them. Great fun enjoy! 😃

Another awesome game. Great game. Can't wait for more Kairosoft games. There is a little bug but it doesn't affect the game at all. When you look at the individual adventurer info. their level is always shown as 8 instead of their actual level.

Fun time absorber. About time another kairosoft game came out. Definately better than eas but I don't think it has the replay value of some of the older games

Awesome!. This is 100% better than anything using new graphics technology the big company's boast about. Playing this more than diablo3 at the moment.

Not bad. I had a blast playing... while it lasted. However once u r near the end of the game things get rediculously easy and all the fun stops there and brings u back to reality that u have been wasting so much time the last couple of days only to come to the point where there really is nothing to do except watch the gold and population go up and up endlessly ... both of which are worthless at this stage of the game. If you hate being compulsively addicted to a game only to find that in a couple of days time it all becomes pointless in the end, then by all means, avoid this game. However, if you realise that u will come to the stage where all the fun is gone and u don't mind just enjoying the game while it lasts, then the game is definately for u.

Love this Game!!!. Love making my little town of my dungeon exploring adventurers can't really falter anything, BUT I would reallyyyyyyyy love for it to be updated and possibly add neighbouring towns, more expansions, new people, special raids, etc... it would really make going back to it even better for me!

There is a bug.. My income stuck at 30,323 for a long time no matter how much I earned. So I can't level up my town. Plz fix this issue and I'll raise up the review.

Great. I love the game although i think you nedd to make it abit more interchangeable 1 add a button to chane jobs when ever 2 add a black smith armor place where you can make your own armor with items and to make quest button where you can create a quest

Never fails to amaze me.... Very fun,I completed it in 6 hours straight and got 5 star at year 11, after that it got boring but I kept on playing again and again like 6 times! It would be fun if you could get higher then 5 star because not much to do after.

Not just another sim. Anyone who loved Majesty the kingdom sim would love this. Heroes have their own minds, lead their own lives. Too bad there aren’t enough games like this, so I’ve had to play this repeatedly

Great game. Really fun, would be great if you could see how many medals that your adventures have when awarding them so you know how many they need to be able to change roles, also need to be able to change adventurers roles whenever you want

Losing time. Every time kairosoft release a new game I know what's going to happen. I sit down to play for 5 minutes and by the time I look at the clock 3 hours have flown by. Another excellent game! Well worth buying

!!. Addictive!! I love it to bits. Great for those small minutes where you're bored to bits. Finishes a little quickly but I continued past the 'end' and am now trying to get all my villagers to the best they can!

Dali boo. Nice little game but have never finished it in time. Closest I got was 25 years. Cannot work out the money part of it. Sometimes sits on same level for 2-3 or more years. Music tracks are a bit monotonous but u tune out after a while. Other than that it's the ideal lazy persons RPG. You have a few decisions to make but it doesn't demand a lot. Ideal after a day at work. Cute little characters,it is a bit sexist i.e. no female mercenaries, king but no queen (only a princess) but don't sweat the small stuff - life's too short. my one aim is to complete it within the Time limit.

Favourite game on iOS. Dungeon village is and amazing game that I can never get enough of. It is the one game that I can also come back to and play and is easily called my favourite game on the iOS!!

Quests. I love this this game, but In one of the updates you should add the ability to do more then one quest at a time, and the ability to chose what adventurers go on quests, but only the ones that live in the village. 10/5 if only I could give a higher rating.

Fantastic. I love this game very much. I take my hat of to the developers. It's unique, addictive and simple. And for the first time in a while there is zero in app purchases, which is wonderful to see.

Most Played and Loved App that I play. This is the first app that made me want to right a review. It is worth it for the price; long enough story to keep you going for a long time and once you do finish you can continue playing in free mode. I just reached 100 years in game and I am still playing.

cool. it's a great game but there are a few things that may need abit of a touch up like I believe that the months go way to fast and your always paying the damages or whatever they so you only have money for well...not very long BUT I really like this game and it will keep me playing for a while so keep up the good work 

Fun. I finished it in 2 full day playing but the end was too easy for me. It took only 3 seconds to kill the boss dragons so I sat there waiting for the years to end. Great game though! One of my fave. Plz release another one now!

Great game, but really needs more. Having a ton of fun watching 25 hero class adventurers storm the plains and money skyrocket through the millions... But I confess, I wanted a bit more... Perhaps being able to visit other towns and villages and more areas for your heroes to run amuck in. Graphics are clean and lovely, and while some of the names are new, there are nostalgic names that will get you remembering other classic games. Music gets repetitive however. Town gets ungodly cramped late game. And my god, the dragons don't get stronger by much when they get back, becoming rather disappointing, There's much that can be done for this game, but for the fun I had, it is well worth it the way it is.

YAY!. I have been waiting impatiently for the next 'Kairosoft' game. No matter the large price for they are worth every cent, except maybe the Astro one. I haven't even played this one yet but I know it will be good!

It's not... Horrible.... But it's not good either. Not only is it too damned easy - you barely have to do anything at all, and none of the in any way challenging or engaging, and there is too much waiting for the chance to do something between the parts in which you actually do things. The city building aspect is so basic it seems almost redundant- place anything, anywhere and it will function almost identically to anywhere else. The adventuring partnof the game is completely pointless, as questing is regulated to a menu (two different pages) and a progress bar out of 100%. The presentation is nice, it's cute and clean, while the Menus and text are large enough to fulfill their purpose, but there is a sum total of three music tracks, and one of those tracks plays 95% of the time. Unfortunately this track only lasts about 15 seconds and almost immediate dove me insane. I would recommend not going into this expecting anything amazing, but expecting a mediocre, if nicely designed game.

Awesome. This is a great game and i was recently playing it, then i thought 'how could this game be even more better?' Well, i thought that it would be cool if the old monsters would still pop up instead of always being the hard ones, and that you could rename the heroes if ya know what i mean. Also this is a bit far but if you could marry your heroes to make have kids the have the cross between their skills maybe.

Great as always.. New titles from Kairosoft are the only iOS games I download (and pay for) without even a second thought! Always great games.

Bug?. Whenever I try to play it on the iPad, it always glitches out and can't tell where your hand is.

perfect games. all these games from kariosoft are the best. keep bringing them out and ill keep paying for them. maybe now a one where you start a bussiness up like a trucking company or something and you have to pay for things and its a bit difficult and you have some hard choices to make in where your compainies going. stuff like that great game keep it up. graphics are great and the story lines are superb

no endless mode. its really fun but after 3 days of gametime the game ends on its own and u cant upgrade it you have to start a new game, at this point you will be more likely to delete the app because who wants to redo all they have just done? there should be a endless mode for a 6$ game!! 3 stars

Great Game!. This game is really good! It is in second place for all of your games: 1. Cafeteria Nipponica 2. Dungeon Village 3. Pocket Clothier 4. Beastie Bay There should be a game where you're the head of pumpkin products and you have to buy things and sell them for more, but still at a reasonable price. The point of the game is to get $10,000,000 but to have more things in storage (up for sale) you have to buy new buildings, or expand one of the ones you have (like Cafeteria Nipponica).

Game review. Sound needs to be turned on every time I open the game. Running on an I pad air2. No combat sounds at all. Be Cautious. once you update from previous version to 2.0, your save data will be reset.

Lacked direction. Game got old real fast, was fun at first but really quickly I found my heroes were getting instagibbed even with the best armor/weapons available. The only way to do well in this game is to NOT do objectives and remove buildings rather than add them, space is limited but really you just need 10-15 buildings and just max upgrade appeal and price.

Really people?. Was this game designed by a ten year old? This game is repetitive and dull, with a cast of shallow meaningless characters. Combat and questing are totally automated and absolutely without imagination. Equipment is limited and monsters are even more so. Buildings are uninspiring, and the upgrade system is actually ridiculous. The only reason I played as long as I did was because I thought I must be missing something, and that it would get better. It didn't. I don't write reviews often, but this game is so bad, especially compared to the positive reviews (did the developers friends and moms write the positive reviews????), that I felt morally responsible to do so. I'd pay $20 for a good game on iOS, but $3.99 is far too much for this game- .99 would be a rip off. Spend your money elsewhere. You've been warned.

Needs a new structuring. Game has some great qualities, but lacking more for the rpg, its a basic idle game which needs to be played.. if you could introduce a way to interact with the characters, do groups, raids stretch the content more. I beat the game in two days over a weekend. Please update and upgrade and I’ll change my rating, but as of now don’t waste your money I’m disappointed with replay aspect.

Unusually Bad. This game wasn't the best, the balancing was off so the game was way too easy but took too long. Not typical of Kairosoft, very disappointing.

Way overpowered!!!. The monsters are extremely overpowered. My whole town gets wiped out but a small mob of them. I have also been in debt for a year and a half now I'm barely keeping up its a very fun game just wish it was easier!

I love this game!. Can play for hours and hours, so much fun, so relaxing and cool to imagine classic RPG adventurers visiting your town! Love it!! If you like classic JRPGs but are also into city builders then this game is for you !

Great mobile take on a rare type of game. For a mobile version of My Life as a King, this is pretty awesome. When I played that game I had never played a game like it and it was really cool. What a surprise when I tried this out and discovered it was the same sim RPG city builder that MLaaK was and almost as fun. There are definitely some improvements that could be made, but otherwise it is an entertaining game for the few people like me who find these kind of games really fun!

Great addictive game, but freezes often on iPad mini. Love this game, got over one hundred hours of game play! Super cute, easy to learn but lots to explore! But it freezes arbitrarily sometimes and it's quite annoying if u have not saved.

Great Game. This is my favourite Kairosoft game! It has a very charming and calming aesthetic. My only gripe is that there isn’t a ton of replay value. The villagers come into your town in the same order every time which is a bit repetitive!

Epic. This is truly an epic game. It's a great way to have fun. I know that some of the other comment might say that you can't rotate the houses but really you can. It's a combination of an adventurous quest game with challenges at every corner, and a fun relaxing village game where you build you village piece by piece. I recommend this game for everyone.

probably the best. this is by far my best similation game i have ever played. mostly becuz it hits the word SIMILATION down to the definition. almost like playing an rpg game, but with 35 guys all at once under ur main control. other than that the 2x speed makes it fun to watch them get hyper XD and after awhile ur main goal is mastery of trades. one down side: bad guys lvl up per human they kill SO beware of ur suicide prone characters. ( make a lvl 2 enemy into a lvl 38 enemy very fast) =) solution: cheap advance gear b4 it gets out of hand

A great iOS game. This game can be time consuming, but in a good way. There is a lot to do to build up the village and plenty to see. The best part, aside from the humor and great pixel art, is the lack of microtransactions. No energy meters, no paid upgrades. Everything you need to have fun with the game is included in the purchase price. More iOS games should follow Kairosoft and offer a great deal to their customers like this game has.

5 Stars well earned. This game is definitely my favorite rpg app on the App Store. It has endless gameplay, great graphics, great mechanics and lots of quests and new enimies. the only thing this game would need is to be updated more frequently. This is the greatest game I have so far but some of my friends are complaining that "you don't get to battle monsters yourself" but my opinion it'll be exactly like skyrim on the xbox 360 but I don't want it to be skyrim keep it the way it is. Love this company!!!. I love this company so much!! Their games are always so fun to play. I usually don't review games but these developers do so well with the pixel graphics, amazing replay value and the different amount of games they bring out. I can't wait for them to continue to bring out these type of games.

Better than it looks!. This game is great. I'm not one to pay for any games but I was curious about this one and it was well worth it. Think of Sim City combined with an RPG and you'll have this game. Everything is easy to understand and learn. Watching the heroes do thing is fun and entertaining. If you have time to kill I highly recommend this game. It's addicting how fun yet simple it is. Great game. Deserves all 5 stars.

Game is by one what I thought. This game is fun with its town creation, gear finding and creating, random heros, The dungeons are cool. Though I would like to be able to do more then one quest at a time. Also the money is weird when I get profit on the announcement in the top left corner says positive I still end up in negative some how. But all in all amazing game with the money

Exactly perfect!. I wish more ipad games were like this. You pay a couple dollars and get a real, full game. No annoying extras to buy. It's ad free, graphics are adorable, and has rpg style leveling and upgrading to both characters and buildings. There are quests to complete and your town to develop - always something to do. No waiting for things to cook or construct! I have not stopped playing since I started! Completely worth the money paid.

Great, fun app. Absolutely a fun and very enjoyable app for your phone or iPad. If there were ads in the paid version they're gone now. Very glad they had a free version to try, well worth the few dollars. Hope they introduce more content even if it costs a little. Much better then dumping endless cash into games that try to force you to purchase in game items to progress. Easily 5 star game for almost any rpg and/or builder fan.

One of the best games, period. This is an amazing game. Utterly unique, deep gameplay which brings to mind the best from maxis and bullfrog. This game delivers the fun and promise which you never quite get from the jillion "FarmVille" clones while being much more sophisticated and allowing players to play continuously, no greedy IAPs or tricks to get you to pay more. It's an honest, marvelous game and one of the best games on the iPad, despite remaining relatively undiscovered.

Awesome. I got this game this morning when I realized it was on the app store. :) This game is a lot more fun than the rest for me because the music and setting of the game. There is one thing though, small but still; it's that whenever I double tap a character it shows their level as level 8 no matter what the actual level is. But when I look at the list of adventurers it shows the actual level. Just letting you guys know. Awesome game though for sure :)

very fun game, worth every penny. First i would like to thank the developers. so many games out there do the"99cents" ,then 10-15 dollar iap's. I would much rather spend the extra couple bucks on the intitial buy for a quality game with no iap's. That being said, the game itself is a fun sim with a classic rpg theme, and old school graphics. the game is straightforward, easy to pick up, and provides a pretty good challenge.

Very fun game. I thought this was ganna be another game where you had to wait real time in order to get things done. I found out it wasn't and this game became amazing. There is a large cast of Heroes that come to your city. Many different ways to get their strength up while you make money. Very rewarding and addicting game.

🙂. This is a great game. I reached max rank in about 20 some (in game year). I think there should be an update tho. Not on the basic controls but maybe the groups of high level monsters & more gear, more space, more chars. Max, more to do with your money; I have almost 2million I think and idk what to spend money on other then shop supplies for the cauldron. In All. Very good. Well I had to play it till completion before review time kids. And here's my story. The beginning was a bit complicated to get used to but it's when you get the hang of it is when it gets good. You build a town from scratch that attracts adventurers who are looking for a place to stay and you set them up. You can give these guys 2 types of quests... Dungeon treasure hunting or monster slaying. You take on enough of these and you'll unlock better equipment and buildings. The buildings range from restaurants to a circus to a huge castle. There are job types like Final Fantasy... From farmer to ninja to wrestler and so on. It's addicting. The monsters get difficult and can beat you down but unlock the hero job will give you an edge. No game is 5 stars but believe me my 4 star rating is very high up there. Enjoy. I hope this gives you enough reason to spend your cash.

Good game with some issues. I always start by giving 5 stars and then taking off stars for issues that are large enough. This is a fun time killer and a good sim all around. I took one star off because of crashing issues. There are even times when both my manual and auto saves crash right after loading so I need to start a new game. I took off another star because I believe this app is a bit over priced. To make it worth the money, add some Game Center achievements along with some sort of online capability. Fix those issue and it could easily be 5 star!

okay. this is a great game and I absolutly love it, but there needs to be more people, more weapons and armor, and expecially more things to do, and just small things too, like to be able to see the armor that you equipped onto your villager, that's a big need, and most definantly, like I said, more things to do, it make the game adventuring and exploring and finding things, let's make it bigger, and better

Would give 5 stars except for income bug. The income number has a tendency to get stuck at just below upgrade level and nothing will make it change. This makes the game incredibly frustrating, if something is required to level up it needs to be something the player can control. Otherwise it's a fantastic game and well worth the money. It is so much better to pay the value of the game up front and not get bombarded with in app purchase options while trying to play.

Great game, needs to be a tad harder. Couldn't stop playing it on my iPad and I beat it pretty quick. The game has a ton of depth, but you really don't need to explore all of it to beat the game (like the cauldron). The game is a must play if you enjoy simulation games and/or RPGs in the slightest. Lets hope they make a sequel! P.s: only complaint is the looping, awful music.

I didn't play it much at first. but when I got into it, it started to get really fun. It's kinda strange that you don't control the characters, but running the village is awesome. You go on quests, have events and fight monsters. You have to pay to rearrange things though and some quests you lose even when it says you should win. Overall fun and addicting.

Addictive. I love this game. If you have played My Life As King on the Wii then you will be familiar with this formula. My ONLY GRIPE is that there is no way to change jobs if you select cancel or back, whether on purpose or accidental. So if you unlock other classes many of you adventurers cannot be changed, they are just stuck that way from now on. Other than that there is depth and rewards for building up your town by unlocking new buildings and weapons. I hope they make a sequel thats more advanced and with HD graphics, I would buy that in a second :D

Love this game. I like that the comments say you continue to update the game and so far this is one of my favorite games! I love the concept and played it for 3 hours straight, but I was able to get a level 4 city in those 3 hours. I wish there was additional content and more to do beyond get a 5 star city, restart and then try to beat your high score. Regardless, this is a wonderful game to grab. 5/5 for what it's worth

Excellent. There are a lot of bad games in the app store. This isn't one of them. Totally novel idea, and executed to near perfection. You are going to want to pick this up, even if it is a bit more expensive than other games. In-app purchases aren't needed, and aren't even present. Give this a go, and thank me later.

A great RPG Town Simulator. I've spent all night and morning playing this game. The gameplay mechanics are very intuitive and the pop up help windows tell you exactly what to do. I haven't played any other games like this but I enjoy this one a lot. There's no Pay to Play features, it's just a straight forward game with no advertisements or gimmicks. If you're a fan of 8-bit rpg's and town simulators/management, definitely pick this one up, you won't be disappointed.

Fun for a while. Just beat the game and I had a good time with it however I had some gripes. 1) new adventurers are useless late game. Even in the best gear possible they can't kill anything. Even season adventurers can no longer kill mob packs anymore. 2) useless stores. I understand I'm building a town but honestly it just seems I'm building just have that building. It doesn't unlock or add anything to the town. 3) repetitive. Once you get three stars, it's not worth going anymore, you've seen it all. 4) lack of a challenge. Is it possible to lose this game? Honestly it was way to easy even with my heroes dieing non stop. There really isn't a sense of challenge and because of that the in game milestones feel worthless and annoying. Overall it was fun for a while. Definately 5 stars if the game added more content.

Great game, for a while.... This is one of my all-time favorite games, but as you get further in the game the enemies obviously get tougher. Now, I'm not mad that there are enemies that take 5-7 of my adventurers at a time to kill, but I am mad that those monsters appear in groups of 4-8 at a time, successfully incapacitating almost all of my adventurers at a time. Otherwise this game is perfect in my eyes.

Love it!!!. Hello! Girl gamer here :) love this game! Very addictive rpg game where you run your own little village! Very customizable game. I get the biggest kick out of the names of the villagers!! XD Voldy Moore, Harly Potler, Stumblemore - Harry Potter inspired. Sam Ganges, Frod Bigguns, Harry Gorn - LotR inspired. And I believe these are FF7 inspired: Clown Stripe (Cloud Strife) and Seffy Roth (Sephiroth). Props to the game developers for this sneaky add-in for the geek inside us all! Hope you'll continue to expand and update this game!! Thanks!!

Great game for RPG lovers. A must have for anybody why loves RPG. I was a bit skeptical because it was also a town maker, but it is surprisingly fun and addicting. My one complaint is the background song gets pretty annoying after a while. Other than that, it's a charming, addicting, and overall fun game to get into.

Da boss. This game is probably the best game I have ever played. The ONLY thing that could make this game better is if you could choose to run a village or be a adventurer. Because then your friend could make a village and you could go to it whenever you wanted to. But, overall this game is amazin and you should totally use 4 dollars on it.

Buy it!!. At first I was very skeptical about buying this game but after reading the reviews i decided to give it a shot. This game is great and very unique.. I bought the game 3 days ago and I've probably already put over 15-20 hours into it. This is also the first time I have ever reviewed an app. If the game description interests you, I highly recommend you give it a try!

I question why your not playing it!!!!. I read all of the reviews people posted, before I bought dungeon village. They are all right!!! This is the best game I have played on my iPhone, there's nothing better! I loved it and I already played three play throughs, and I keep playing it over and over. I already got a few of my friends playing, and we all agree 4 bucks is more then worth over 30 hours of game play, keep it up we want more!!!!!

Best Game in Months (Opinion). Amazing. Fun. Time Consuming. I loved the game and I am still playing. I beat it a month before I got 5 stars. It's so hard to raise income for the fifth star, but I kept using items on the buildings. Now I am on year 26, bringing each person from adventurer to the top class. In order. It will take much longer but it's so fun. Thanks for such an amazing game.

Dat Asian Gamers Review. I love this game butit has a couple minor problems. Its too short , their needs to be an enhance storyline , maybe their these ultimate villians. Their also needs to be more things that happen after the end. Since their a fast setting the game goes by too quick. their need to be more characters , more stars maybe a 10 star limit. Furthermore their a melee characters , so they should get melee skills , only wizards and a few number of characters have the natural magic to make a dent. While others should really only use healing magic if any magic , and the armor they wear should make a difference in their appearance.

Wonderful Game and Experience. I have to say, I did acquire my $4.99 worth. Everyone has different taste but this game's style matched one I've been looking for in OS games. However, I'll simply provide a list of my pros and cons. Pros • Hours of gameplay • Goal Oriented • Visually Pleasing • Easy To Use Interface Cons • Can Be Repetitive My review isn't comprehensive, but from a gamer to gamer, if you apply the time and attention required to place this title you will see it's worth it and fun ! My only true complaint is that then end has become rather difficult, but it's made up for by the fact that we can't ever truly lose ! All in all, a well made game !

Dungeon Village. I defiantly think that this game deserves more credit. It is a very good, well balanced game. The only thin I could ask for, is maybe a bigger area in which you could find other civilizations, and convince them to join your civilization. This is only a question. It is not necessary, but I defiantly believe it would help this game get a better rating.

Can't put this down!. I've never played a game like this or from this company, this style of light city management and rpg features is just the perfect mix for hours of enjoyment. I gave been playing for six hours now and I cant seem to put down! For once your the shopkeeper and the npcs are the adventures.

Great game!. This game is absolutely perfect with a lot of content. This game is just the one for you if you want a game that will last a while. There is TONS of things to do such as building structures, upgrading they're appeal; quality; and price, as well as your adventurers giving them deadly weapons and many forms of protection. Thats not even half of it! If you don't have this game i highly recommend it.

Addictive. It's fun to keep track of everyone coming in and questing. Making money is pretty hard at first, but be smart and it'll become easy. The rewards sort of keeps one going until everything is maxed out, then there's little else to do however. Being able to settle new locations, like some ice town or beach, would be fun. I would definitely like to see the world expanded but would recommend the game as-is.

Great game. Such a fun and addicting game. I was a huge fun of game dev story, and this has a similar vibe. As other reviewers have said, I think the menu navigation could be improved a bit. A bit more documentation or more tutorial could be helpful, as some of the presents and such seem a bit vague as to how they improve various structures/adventurers. The game is definitely worth the purchase. Keep up the good work guys!

iPhone game done right. This game is fantastic! It reminds me of all the computer games or GameBoy games I used to buy but for a fraction of the cost. Game play is so in depth and diverse. It's more well rounded than any app I've ever seen. And there are no annoying in app purchases to increase the price along the way. The creators really struck gold with this one. Lovelovelove it!

I love the game but.... There's just a few things I wish would get fixed. 1) The Mage class feels just a little underpowered. They tend to get not as viable later on in the game just because of how long it takes them to cast and the fact that they miss 90% of the time. 2) The monster toughness scaling seems to be fair until mid/late game where the random monsters that pop up like the machine gorilla and the mole guy end up being tougher than the dragon bosses. 3) I agree that the other posts about maintenance cost being absurd; it always tends to be ridiculously high and it's hard to tell what building costs what for maintenance. Unless I missed it, it'd be nice if we could tell what the buildings cost for maintenance.

Great Game. Fun game but some people can't reach higher than lvl 8 or 7 and the maintenance costs are unknown until you buy the building. Even though you guys don't update games cause your company is in Japan, and the American version of your games are in English, you should at least try to give your games updates. I have six of your games so please try updating.

Just what I was looking for!. I've been sorely missing rpg-type games, and while this one doesn't exactly have some of the features I'd been wanting for in particular, it's still been a great fix for my craving. It's quick to play but sometimes I spend hours on it without even realizing, the graphics are cute, the gameplay is moderately relaxed, there are things to obsessively upgrade, and some of the puns that turn up are pretty rad. A+

Addictive, silly fun.... A great game for ppl new to RPGs. Very addictive and slightly challenging. I'd love a sequel! Only a few negatives... I agree with a previous reviewer about the classes/ranks. I think that it should matter whether or not a mage has a magic weapon and a knight a sword, etc. None of the roles were set apart or clearly defined. Also, it was hard to tap on a specific building, person, etc. and I even bulldozed a house once by accident. It needs to be more precise.

Favorite Kairosoft Game. I've played most of the iOS Kairosoft games and this one is by far my favorite. I like buying a game and having access to basically all of its content without inapp purchases. I hope they make a sequel and give the character classes special abilities or class specific equipment.

Great Game!. This game is very fun and from what I can tell it never officially ends which is great because you can play it forever. There is 1 very minor visual bug though. When you go to Menu->Info->Adventurers and click on an adventurers page there is a green box that lists "current job, level, and exp till level up." However the level that is listed is always "lvl8" no matter what level the adventurer actually is.

Good. I like this app but I am writing this because there is a glitch where it says every character is level 8, PLEASE fix it, it is annoying when I have to go to the adventurer menu just to see the levels, and can you change a job if you denied it once already, I really can not find out how

Ryrygoodgame. Love the game couldn't put it down until I upgraded my town to a 5 star rating. Only problem is it always says on the adventurer list that all of my adventurers are level 8 even when they aren't... but can be easily resolved by looking at their individual page. Overall amazing game

I love this game!. Would you consider putting people in groups? When they fight monsters most of the time they are creamed. I thought that putting them of in groups of 4 would increase the chance of killing the monster instead of getting creamed. This is a great game currently I am at rank 3, but keep getting creamed because of the monsters. This is just a suggestion for the harder monsters that come up.

10 hours straight!. I can't put this game down. I will say there are a few mods to be made; like the income requirement for the 3rd star, by the time I got it, I was able to jump straight to 4 stars. And sometimes the quest battles are a bit hard, even with a fully geared crew(( for what lvl I was at)). I only stopped playing to give it a review and eat, now back to the game!
