Awesome!. Seeing Kairosoft as the publisher of a new game means instant buy! Their games are awesome! As soon as i saw this game released i bought it. Addicted to all their other games. Highly recommended! Buy!

Kairosoft is a gem of the gaming industry. Seriously, buy this now. This is a delightful game with original gameplay which reminds me of the best days of gaming. It's engrossing, challenging and deep, with whimsical graphics and quality throughout. Some finer aspects of the game and ui could use more explanation but players will soon figure it all out. This is a good follow up to the frankly amazing "dungeon village" and I can't wait to see what these devs make next.

Fun but.... I like this game but its my least favorite from this developer. It's harder to figure out and difficult to get money. I don't mind a challenge but a lot of this game is waiting around to get money. I'd buy some of the others first that are more fast paced like the kingdom or mall themed. Not a terrible game just a little dull and difficult. Find an online tutorial to help get going.

Love the replayability!. Another satisfying release from Kairosoft, but with the incredible amount of recipes, the replay satisfaction of this game is better than most others!

Woo!. Everyday I search kairosoft on the app store to see if a new one comes out. These games have to be my favorite games on the iphone. I have a whole section on my iphone for all the kairosoft games. Keep them coming!

Worst Kairsoft game they make. It's just a dull game. It seems very cool, but you find out quickly it's just sit around and wait for days to end so you get money. There is very little you can do to promote your store or food to get more money. Everything is VERY expensive too. You wait days to build up money, only to spend 2-4 grand on a small promotion which only increases your customers for a few days. Directions don't explain what to do well, so you'll waste time trying to make a dish better, only to see the dish doesn't improve at all. It's so hard to build up your funds with employees getting raises, then things like moving a store will start reaching 35-45k! That takes weeks of turning on the game and staring, doing nothing. Very boring. Certainly the worst game in the library.

Great, wish it had different locals and levels. Very fun game! I’m 30 years in and wished there was more levels and different city locations. Then it would get 5 stars hands down!!!!!

The Wait Was Well Worth It!!!!. I have an almost full page of Kairosoft games on my iPod Touch. After almost 2 months of waiting, I can say that this one is probably my favorite. I bought it as soon as I saw it and started playing right away. It took forever to stop playing. But who would want to stop playing a Kairosoft game?! I'm gonna need a new iPod, I go through the battery so fast now....

Awesome. Ignore the bad reviews. This is the only Kairosoft game so far that let's you make three of your business on each file. You do have to just sit and watch every now and then. But it's not bad, it's GOOD. Watching your restaurants come to life is AWESOME. You see the waiter take the order, the chef cook, and the people eat. Whoever doesn't find that interesting is impatient and not imaginative at all. (Warning: Don't move your restaurants too quickly or else you will miss hidden surprises later on)

Not right for iPhone 5...yet. I had an iPhone 4 and I had this game, when I upgraded my phone I reinstalled the game and the game doesn't fit the screen just right. Other than that this is a really good game...keep it up Kairosoft!!!!

Hours of Fun. Plenty of fun to be had with Cafeteria Nipponica. Just as beautiful as all the rest. As a side note, Kairosoft games make excellent road trip companions. For $5.00 you can make that long, boring car ride go by and then some. The grip which Kairosoft can hold you with astounds me every time, whether I've played the particular game before or not.

Idea for new game. I love this game about the fact that you get to search for ingredients and hire people and critics and stuff! But here is something that will take the next game to the next level. You could make a game like that you could make a tower and manage people, jobs, floors, even elevators! And you could make a design for your tower like make it a bank, lawyer hiring office, things like that. Plus investing, designing how your tower looks, and how cramped or stylish the office spaces look. Once again Kairo, you have done it again with restaurant story! P.S., I would name the game TDS(Tower Development Story)

Help! I love this game, but..... I love this game. When I want an immersive challenge, I pull it out and play through, but I am having a problem. After I reinstalled it, some of my ingredients have too many stars which makes it impossible to make the low end recipes like veggie stir fry. My cabbage has three stars. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, but that didn’t seem to help.

On the contrary.... To what some might say, I think this is the easiest of games from this developer to figure out. I love the concept it's fairly easy to pick up and super addicting. 5 stars all around. They deserve it!

I'm hungry for more!. Kairosoft has done it AGAIN! As if I wasn't already impressed by their great games so far on iOS, I certainly am now. I recommend this to any simulation gamer.

It's fun, at first 👌. Dont get me wrong, the first time I started this game I didn't really get it , so I didn't like it much. However, over a day or two it got really fun! I couldn't stop playing, I think I played for 2-3 weeks in the same game save. Sadly, replaying the game isn't fun. It's the same thing and may get boring to those who get bored easily (starting over). But the game is worth getting because you can keep expanding your restaurants and open multiple ones.

Instructions not clear. From the start, i found myself guessing a lot on the consequences of purchases. The many intricacies of the game are very confusing, to the point where you don't have confidence in what your doing. Only 1 blog has enough insight into the games intricacies, and even that is frustratingly confusing. After a while this game became a burden to play, enough so that I haven't opened it in several days

Kairosoft. I own all their games. I am waiting for this one to download. Kairosoft deserves a award for best developer. The prices are very fair, especially since they have infinite replay value. They also have no "premium items" so there are no IAPs. Buy this and all their other games.

Another great game from Kairosoft. I was a big fan of Game Dev Story and now I'm a fan of Cafe Nippon. I gotta say it's a very different game mostly coming from the Develop Dish Feature which is what the player would use to create dishes to sell to their customer. This is pretty much random. I would say there is over 200+ permutations of ingredients you can mix and you don't know how it's going to make a new dish.

Amazing.. I have really gotten used to this game. I play this game on a daily basis, and I have really gotten used to every single of my workers. I really love this roleplay game, and I wish you can make more like this. I've gotten really far. Currently, I'm on the tenth year, and my money record is over 70,000. I'm almost the first cafe in all the areas, too ;3. I can't wait to see what happens when I get to the 3rd month of the 16th year.

Kairosoft at their best. This is definitely one of Kairosoft’s best games. If they started churning out games like this again, I would be a lot more likely to purchase it than their freemium stuff.

New idea. I doubt you will see this, as I've waited a year to write this review, but I think you guys should make a game where you run either a hospital or a police department. I feel like that sort of thing would provide a lengthy game-playing experience. Also, all of your games are very addicting, and I can't wait to see if my wish comes true 🙏

Awesome game!. I love this game, and it's been one of my favorite games as well :) it is fun and like all games it have a high replay value. its up there, but not as high as, game dev story, as well as hot springs story. Ik HSP isn't the most famous game but I love it. As well as all your other games :). Good job on this one and please keep the games coming on IOS. You have plenty of fans here even if it is slightly harder to get your games to us!

It was below average. It's a great game, as expected, but just seems to lack what all the other kairosoft games had. It's a tad confusing at times and takes a while to get into, but once you do, you'll find it was worth the money.

Play one of the others. I own all the games this company makes and this one is by far my least favorite. I'm all for time consuming games and I love replaying them! But this one gives no clear instructions, I feel like I'm just watching the game play out w no interaction from myself. My cafeterias keep going up in rank, but I have no idea why or how I can help it out. Making the food is just annoying as there is no instruction for how to make the dishes get the points they need, you just have to guess and wait 3 game months to learn that it didn't work. If you're new to this game maker, play the mall one first, or the hot springs, not this one.

New Idea. I love every kairosoft game that ive downloaded!!!! Heres an idea for whatever your developing now. Playable character!!!!!! Watching and caring for them is one thing but playing as them is completely different!!! Add this to the next game please!!!!!

Fun but. If they days were longer then it'll be better because you could make more money

Strange. Fun and odd little game. I'm enjoying it. If you like restaurant and time management games thus is great. It's more on the level of being a boss of your own restaurants. It's fun learning how to play. It's mysterious as of now. Creating new dishes and searching forests for treasure. Like I said. Strange. But I like it. Can't put it down for long!! I think the price has been lowered too. Last time I looked it was 6.99 I think. Now it's 3.99. Fine by me!! It's just a little hard to figure out or I would've given it 5 stars. :)

Love!. One of my favorite games, hours and hours of play. Best time management game company out there. No real money required besides opening purchase- worth it! So cute too!

Maybe a Seccond One. This game is just so good and time consuming. It even teaches people how to partially run a business. That is exactly why there should be a Seccond version of this game. Maybe there can be new workers, new destinations, and even some new food to serve. If you do in fact make a Seccond game, I would definitely buy it!

Fun game. This game is so addicting and frustrating at same time. There's just so much stuff I need to do in the game. Being a perfectionist like I am, I really want to max out all my staffs to kairo staff and all my dishes... To do that, I think I've spent at least 200 hours -_-" and I'm still not there yet.

Wonderful. Fantastic game! Lots of online walkthrough available for those who want to level up their recepies faster. I dont care for the "Special Chef's" and would like more events but i still love the game. I have played 3 times through and just started the 4th time. So much carries over. So fun!

Charming. Although I love every Kairosoft game I have played, there is something incredibly charming about running your own restaurant business and assigning staff, pleasing customers, and developing new dishes. While there isn't as much to do actively in this game as some others (obviously there's no battle system or anything, and you can't directly control your staff), this game has an excellent aesthetic that tops many of their other games. My only complaint is that some of the news text posts have two lines that run together--an oddly common bug in their games.

Extremely addicting. I just love this game. HSS is good but so is this and it made me want to play more even after I finished the story. It's a challenge but it's worth it! I wish there was a second part~

Amazing as always!. I love all kairosoft games. Please fix some glitches in this one though! People wait in line but step in before walking out. Or ppl walk by and say "let's go in" but don't. I had a line of 20 ppl and every single one went to walk in before turning around and leaving. I had lots of free seats. It ruins the game :( I have next to no customers come in anymore.

Epic in all standards. I've been playing Game Dev. Story for a while (which is heaps good as well) and have been waiting for a game like this for while. If you don't have it, get it. It's incredibly addictive.

Restaurant game just got real!. It is such as nice game that deviates from typical restaurant game where you wait for dishes to cook. This game you actually manage a restaurant! I love it! The price threw me off and had me thinking wether to buy it or not seeing there was no lite ver out. It was totally worth it! This has to be the best restaurant type of game ever!!

Not what you think. This game is so bad. They make peoples pay 4$ for a game that half of your command are bugged! You cannot remodel your restaurent twice. They use their trade mark caracters ( yellow bear ) way to much and make them the best caracter in all their games. They make things fast and cheap ( the time system is based on month instead of making a more real callendar based on day, month and years.). Each time I buyed a Kayrosoft game I had hope but now it was my last game with them. ( Sick of watching a toy shop in a medieval game based on adventurer, sick of watching this cheap industrie grow and charge people 4$ for each of their cheap games instead of buying a full 3D refined game ir w.e else awesome you could buy with it!) Same old same old. Addictive game, just like all the rest of the Ksoft titles. Good/bad?? The controls on this one could be better. For example, when switching out employees from break room to a restaurant, it's really difficult to choose the right one because I can't see the stats, energy and skills on the same slide. Overall, pretty fun. It's different from Dungeon Village in that it has so much more content/combinations, akin to GameDev.

Fun but slow to play. Felt the story moved by too slow! I want everything to happen faster. The recipe making feature is super fun!

its always pleasure to review kairo games. i'm very thrifty person and i dont usually buy paid games. but i dont hesitate to buy kairo games because theyre best of the best iphone games. i feel sorry paying only $1 for this game

A great simulation game. If your looking for a fun game them look no further in this kairosoft game you're put in to the role of a restaurant owner. The game has a nice pace you can even set the theme

A little slow. I played this game because I loved game dev story. The only thing I didn't like was that it took at least ten times longer to get better and upgrade things in the restaurant.

They Make Best Games. Every game they have made was a complete success. Everyone should get this game it is so much fun and it's addicting. I love this game and everyone else should tooooooo!!!!!!!!!

So-so...tutorial and instructions should be better. This game is really fun but it's hard to figure out certain things. For example, how do you give your employees energy? What's the purpose of developing new dishes? What do the indicators by ingredients mean when developing a dish?
