Shows strums too. This app has many songs, tutorials, a tuner, chord instruction, strum instruction and the best part is learning the songs in this app. As you play the lyrics and chords are shown. The fingering dots for the chords give you a little preview. You can set the speed and really see where each change is and what it is. Very good. Excellent.

Great app - good song selection - varying levels. This is a great app. It has an extensive catalog of songs with achievable chord progressions. Some are easy, some are more difficult and help improve your playing and skills. I like the video segments that assist with more difficult chords. This app forced me to tackle bar chords in order to play some songs that I really wanted to learn to play and that is the magic of this app. It really helps make you a stronger player.

Having Fun!!!. Really enjoy playing along with a “back up band”. Having the melody is awesome as I am not a very good singer. The thing I would like for more playing enjoyment is more oldies but goodies. So many of the songs are done by artists 40 years younger than. I know a lot of seniors that play the uke and we would like more songs for our generation. Thanks.

I’m Capt. Picard but w/ a Uku. Just like Capt. Picard in ST:TNG played his favorite songs w/ the Enterprise computer, i get to recreate the experience but w/ a more enjoyable instrument. Helps learning chords & strumming visually better than a book a tab book could for me

Expensive Subscription. Amazing app. Fun to play along with the background music. They charge a lot for full access because they have to pay licensing sees for some of the songs... Thankfully they make available lots of non-copyright songs.

I love this app!! Few flaws though. I absolutely love this app, I just got one and it’s helping me learn, there should be a couple changes to make it easier for beginners. You should add levels and once you complete a song you can level up and unlock new songs and so on. I am having trouble learning all of the notes like this. I love the tuning feature, and the ability to change the speed, but it’s just hard for people starting out like me. But other then that, I love this app!

so much fun!. This seemingly simple app is helpful to learn about timing and when to change chords at the right time, etc. Strumming patterns and playing in different keys are also great for beginner to play actual music. New songs are added each time I log on. Great for the price, too

Educational. I teach elementary music and use this app with 4th and 5th graders. They love the choice of music new and old. It also simplified everything to make it possible for almost anyone to play along.

Uke oke. It was really easy to use and to learn. They have links to yt videos so it is easier to learn the strumming pattern and stuff. The subscription is a bit over priced, but I’m still glad I have it because I think I have really improved from the app!

Nifty app!. This is such a nifty app! I've only used it for a short time, but it has such an easy way of learning songs! It has a tuner and a whole bunch of free songs, plus you can buy a subscription for many more songs.

Can’t tune. I am trying to tune and my C sounds too low and with my A when it is to high it say too low, and the other way around. I have a soprano uke and I don’t know what is wrong.

Great variety. I love this app! I have had it for four years now and It has a great selection of songs. It makes Learning how to play easy and has taught me everything I know about the ukulele.

Horrible, pointless and flawed. The integrity of the song is completely compromised. The bpm is off and too slow on most songs. There is not indication of single strums and the striking patterns are completely off. If you want your music to sound like the original you must look up the bpm and strumming pattern on the internet or have it previously put in your head. This takes away the use of having this app. It is horrible and I wouldn’t have used if I knew it was this bad

Great little app!!!. I’m new to the ukulele, I enjoy this app! Has tons of sings I can play that I like, unlike some apps that have “free” songs that I have never heard of. It has a free trail period which gives you time to enjoy if you decide to get the subscription. I liked and have used it everyday of the trial period, I have subscribed. I find it very useful. You have options to change vocal sound, to have simple strums, or the strumming pattern for that song; I really like this part. It’s shows the strumming pattern as well as the chords for the song.

I have a problem. I think that you shouldn’t have to pay for songs to play! I think it’s absolutely stupid and idiotic!😡

Great Ukulele teaching product - help me learn much faster than I would’ve without this. Top notch, great music choices, great for tuning, love how the songs work giving you feedback and that you can have options for background music whether you know this song or not it will help. Completely worth the money I would buy it again! New and old songs and a way to be able to save your song list of your favorites. This is the app to buy for ukulele. I’ve been a guitarist for 40 years and just started 10 months ago on the ukulele with their programs.

Great app to learn how to play familiar songs. I’ve never been somebody who can learn an Instrument by learning notes. Learning tabs has been the only way for me. I love to sing so this has become a fun sometimes hobby for me. The fact that the songs are familiar makes learning a bit easier since you have an idea wth it should sound like. I love playing the cure, joy division, the strokes, Amy winehouse, daft punk, Interpol. It’s really great. I have submitted a handful of choice suggestions but I’ve never seen one get added but I’d love to see a Herman’s Hermits song get added. I’m about to renew my annual subscription for a second time. The price is a bit on the high side though.

Too buggy to use on iPhone X :(. I love this app. I’ve used it exclusively to learn the uke and use it every day. However, ever since I’ve gotten an iPhone X, it rarely works. It freezes and shuts down. Very disappointed. I hope the glitches get fixed soon.

Loving it. Uninstalled other uke apps!. Love that they teach you strumming patterns for a lot of songs. The level of feedback and huge selection is exactly what I wanted for daily practice. Plenty of customization options and pictures of hand positions, links to instructional videos, etc. Thanks for a great app!

Enjoyable little app!. Overall I have enjoyed the app and found the $35 a suitable investment. I come to the ukulele as a trained classical musician so I don’t need music theory training, just a song book so I can practice chords and strumming. The format is a little hoaky, but that’s part of the charm. I don’t particularly care for the way the vocals sound, but again it’s in the spirit of karaoke. It would be nice if the Justin Guitar tutorials would play within the app - which they do on the guitar version. The song book is pretty comprehensive, with mostly pop songs, a decent amount of classic rock songs and traditional songs. Overall, this app is a very fun way to learn songs with simple chord progressions.

AppleTV version not the same. There’s a version of this app for AppleTV, which you’d think would be the same but it isn’t. The phone app is great; easy to navigate and search for songs. Songs aren’t categorized as you’d think sometimes, and there are some hilarious typos (“woid” instead of “void”), but this has been a fantastic way to practice our ukes and have a lot of fun. If you liked Rock Band, you’ll love this.

It’s great! But just one thing..... While this is a great app and I recommend getting it, I do have one thing. They should put the multiple ways of strumming a song and playing the chords just so that it gives some more comfortable options for different people, still love this app though!

Worth the purchase. If you want to learn ukulele use this as lessons it has so many songs and if you can’t find one you can request it. The app is wonderful it makes it so easy to learn.

Membership nonsense. I’ve had this before this stupid membership 40$ crap and believe me it was amazing. I could play anything from Adele to Zedd. But it required a ukulele obviously which I got for eighty bucks just for a non garbage ukulele. Now I have to pay $40 to play anything. I don’t know about you but HAPPY BIRTHDAY and TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR dont jump out to me. Unless this update gets fixed I HIGHLY do not recommend this app.

Good app, would like enhancements. This is a good app. I have the paid version. With it, you can download all the songs they have. You can slow the tempo down for the songs and for strum patterns. The chord guide is super helpful. Improvements The interface for asking for new songs is cludgy. Ability to enter a list of songs in a table or text field when asking for new songs. Add an upright viewing mode, only one right now is turned on the side. Nice to have: An area to practice chord progressions A visual representation of how to fit a strum pattern into a song A way to delete songs you accidentally downloaded A way to practice a chord to make sure it’s making the right sound These are all minor improvements. I use the app everyday.

It’s soooo amazing!!!. Everything about Ukeoke is amazing! Even though you have to buy some of the songs, the free songs are songs that you are familiar with! It makes perfect sense! I only gave it four stars because when it says tips for the song, it says the same thing every time. Like you know the F chord but changing from it to another is something you need to practice on. Ukeoke should fix that so the app gives you literal tips. It doesn’t really make sense but I still love the app! 🤗💖

Love it!. A lot of it is not “my kind” of music but I’m still learning and can always find something new and challenging even if I’m not going to add it to my cover collection. Works great and always adding new songs!

Great app, but no Family Sharing!. For $35, it would be great for my girlfriend to have her own access. It says that it can be shared, but it won’t. She can access every other app that I have that is Family Sharing. ☹️

Love it!!!!. As long as you learn the notes first, practice on the slowest tempo in the beginning and slowly speed it up, you'll love it! I try not to put a lot of pressure on myself to get it and and I just play on this A LOT! ^_^

I LEARNED IN 6 DAYS. So I got the app thinking it was worthless then after two day I was VERY impressed then four days my four day subscription was over yesterday I asked my mom if I could get it and she got it then came today I could play and I saw there was a tuner so I compared it to a snark tuner and it had the SAME so I highly recommend

Like it. I play percussion, some guitar, a little piano and sometimes a big one 😇. This app was easy to use and was playing along almost immediately. Fun stuff. Can’t wait until the concert tour!

Seriously Impressive. This app combines the simplicity of playing a game like guitar hero with the concept of playing an actual instrument. It trains rhythm like a metronome and works out the placement of melody and lyrics for you, rapidly speeding up the learning curve for songs. It has an impressive database of available songs and has even taught me a new strum pattern or two. Headphones or Bluetooth speaker are currently a must to use it like it’s intended. This app makes ukulele practice a blast!

Best app I’ve ever had!. This app has really made me a better player! I absolutely love it!!! It’s the only app for which I am willing to pay for a subscription. Please continue to add new songs for use with Apple TV. 🙏🏼 I have been entertained for hours by this app. Hope you produce similar apps for other instruments. 😁

I do really love this app... but. Started learning the uke a year ago, and. Let me tell, this app is great. Very intuitive and if you used it for a few minutes everyday you will easily learn basic chords and strumming which will allow yo to play sheet music. I have 2 complaints 1: why do I have to pay each year... at least after the first year there should be discount 2: I wish you would add some finger picking songs. The songs are basic and I wish the were some more advanced options. But over all totally worth the money

This really works!. I’m 51 and had never played an instrument instrument until I bought my daughter a ukulele for Christmas last year. This app totally taught me and now I can play almost any song! I recommend learning basic cords with the free songs until you get bored.

Worth the subscription. Best app to learn with, for less than 10 cents a day you have a full accompaniment to play with!!! Beginners will learn how to keep tempo and not ruin the song by stopping to fix a sloppy chord. Experts will love that constant stream of new arrangements. Get yourself an irig to plug into amp and work off the subscription doing gigs at the senior center

I love playing songs I know.. I am not a good Ukeoke player. But I play my heart out. And this app is not only fun to say Uke-o-ke, but is super well designed, it flows, and I can alter the tempo, or just play along. And the words are there so Sometimes I accompany my mediocre playing with slightly more mediocre singing. And it makes me…happy. I’ve had this app for at least 6 years. I intend to keep it forever. The tuning bit’s useful as well. Use it all the time. I like this app. A lot.

Best. I like this one the best because it has more songs for free then any other app. Of course you got cord tuning on the app, ALL FOR FREE! The free songs are good. This app also lets you play a demo-version of songs you have to pay for which is a nice thing for them to do, I really, really, really recommend this app. Best app 5/5-stars!

Great app, cheese electronic music, great otherwise!. I don’t use this app as often as I use Yousician, which is more of a teaching app, but it’s still fun. More contemporary songs, easier to search and just an easier experience. My only complaint is the cheesy electronic synth accompaniment music we play along to. Yousician actually has your play along with real studio musicians and singers. BUT, it’s okay, they’re both different apps for different purposes.

Amazing App. I learned a bunch of new and amazing songs because of this app it’s amazing the only problem is I will have to pay to see and learn the full songs but everything else is great

The app is great!!. I was looking for an app to tune my ukulele and I came across this one, I downloaded it, and I don’t regret it! The tuner can actually make comments on how it sounds, I find that awesome, but it doesn’t only have a tuner, it also has some song to play to.

Used to be great, until it wasn’t. This app WAS excellent. Then it just quit working one day, getting frozen on “updating songlist” or loading a song. It’s unusable now. And yes, I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, turning iPhone off and on, etc., all to no avail. And of course, I already paid the yearly subscription. What a waste.

Very Annoying. It worked very well for the first 4 days during my “free trial” but as soon as the 4 days ended, a lot of the songs i was learning weren’t able to be accessed unless i paid for subscription. The songs i was still able to use always stopped after about 30 seconds unless i paid for premium. The only good thing was the tuning tool

Ukeoke. I have recently purchased Ukeoke and it is a great learning app for both beginners, advanced and in between. As I teach ukulele at a primary school it is good to have some contemporary songs at my fingertips as well as the classics.

Top marks.. Top marks,,,,,, wish it was a bit cheaper.

Excellent!. This app really helped my skills develop quickly. Great for practicing chord changes as you can slow it down until you get it, then speed it up again. Lots of really good songs too.

Great for getting started. I downloaded the app after being directed to it by my Uke's manufacturers webpage. Initial download is free, but only gives you 4 days access, and to a limited (about 50ish) number of songs. Really easy to use, includes chord pics and strumming patterns, and is genuinely good fun to use while playing. Yearly subscription fee has me debating whether or not to get the full app. I think it will be worth the $, but can't bring myself to pay that much for an app.

Very good. I love the app for ease of use. It is great for teaching strumming patterns. My only problem is that I don't know how to download the full lyrics. Is this possible, I have looked for support online, but have had no success. If I could get the full lyrics, I would probably have given 5 stars.

Awesome with a catch. This app is amazing for my kids, they love playing together and are getting quite good in my opinion!! They are having fun and this is a good way to tear them from their screens, however, they cannot access all of the songs as $54 a year is too much for a few songs when they can just look up a tutorial for (Elise Eckland is great.)

Difficult to use. Tutorial queued from sections of a YouTube video and is slow to load. Song plays to fast and doesn't show the fingering while song is playing.

Very Good. This app helped me learn my chords a lot more fluently and play some of my favourite songs.

Horrible. In the 3 day trial they give you i found out that most of the songs dont even use the right chords, afterwards you have to buy every individual song to access it and they dont give you a strum pattern. A terrible app that doesnt even deserve the one star!

Perfect. Look no further than this app. I teach Music and the ukulele has become immensely popular at my school. My kids and I are getting a lot of this app, great song database and easy to pick up and play. Spend the $40!

Fantastic app. I love this app, the strumming techniques are invaluable to a new player, the catalogue of songs is fantastic. I just wish it was possible to slow the songs a little as your first trying to learn and keep up. Otherwise this is the best app I have found thank you

Doesn't Work!. I paid for a full year's subscription. Big Mistake!! It will NOT give me anything but the previews despite trying to "Restore Purchases" numerous times. The company has not responded to my many messages and, guess what, Apple will offer you No Help either!! I know I'm not the only one, either, as others have complained on the site's Facebook page. Do NOT pay for this app!!!

Good app. It’s a good app but if you’re like me and are only 11 or 12 you probably can’t afford the subscription but it works so if you can afford it i would suggest you get it

Great app to boost your learning speed. I am a guitar teacher and recently picked up the ukulele. I picked up this app to try it out. It is simple in its design and really great for learning rhythm, chords and strum patterns in a way that is both visual and audible. Combined with the accurate tuner and other learning tools it has everything you need for a fantastic and fun self learning app for the uke. The library of songs is both affordable and comprehensive and even has free songs you can use if you don’t want to pay. Well worth downloading.

Beginner ukelele player. Started playing ukelele in January 2019 with zero experience and I do not read music. This app has really been helpful for me to advance to an intermediate level in no time! Worth the investment.

Really disappointed:(. I loved this app until it deleted all the songs in my songbook that I just downloaded and it doesn't give me the whole song just 30 seconds.... Free songs are great for beginners but for the experienced players... Fix this please....

Ukulele app. This the best app I ever got for my kids they are 8 years and would love to learn ukulele.

This app was awesome when I was on the four day trial.. After the trial it not good there practically no good songs you can play. Even if you downloaded them. Please creators I know you need money but it’s really fun after the trial. Please fix that or at least cut down the price. I say get this app just for the four day trial.

Great app but expensive subscription. This is a great app that's very well organized and helps you with absolutely everything a uke player needs. The subscription is ridiculous though for an app. I'd rather just pay for an app one time then be subscribed. Quite annoying

Luv it!. I found this ap when I was first starting to play and learned to play lots of songs. Even though the songs are pretty dumbed down it is a great ap for a beginner who wants to start playing songs quickly. It’s been a few years and I still like using it. My favorite tuner too. I live in Toronto but am of Finnish background and when I found out if was a Finnish ap I loved it even more because they had Hanoi rocks songs and happy birthday in Finnish

Really fun and easy to learn with. I highly recomend this app if you want to learn to play fun songs on the uke and pick up a little music theory too! In no time you’ll be playing chords and strumming along to great little tunes!

Learned a new instrument. Try out the app for the free trial and then ask yourself this question: is my enjoyment and relaxation not worth $50?

Great app!. I'm only just starting out learning ukulele but this has been the best tool I've found to help me! Not only is it fun but I'm actually learning and improving. It reminds me of guitar hero in a way lol. I like how I can set it to play the strumming in a ukulele sound so as I'm just starting a song I can follow along easier. The tutorials are great also. I just think it's a well done app. I think I will work on the basic free songs before I pay the monthly cost to get full access but I can see myself doing that eventually

Beginner uke player. I love this app as I can play the simple children’s songs that I learnt as a child to which I can sing along. As I am a grandmother this works well for me as I would like to impress my five grandchildren.

Can't turn off auto renew!. While this app was helpful, I wanted to try unlocking all the songs so started the month trial. Now my month is almost up but I long ago deleted the app because lyrics to the songs still didn't show up. Now it's going to start charging me $5/month and there is no way to turn it off!! I'm going to have to make calls which is ridiculous.

Great, besides the fact that you don’t have certain songs.... Honestly, it’s a great app. I just started ukulele, and because of this app, I’ve improved so much!! Unless I haven’t looked hard enough, I was a little upset that they don’t have “Somewhere over the Rainbow”, but besides that, I love it!! 😁😁

Where is my subscription?. I loved the free trial so I paid for a one year subscription. it worked fine initially, I didn't use it for a while and now it doesn't seem to be there even though when I look at my in app purchases it clearly shows that I have paid for the year. I thought there might be a bug so I deleted the app and reloaded it, however it's still not there. I'm really disappointed and wondering what I can do about this? Is it possible to get a refund?

Tuner. This is the best app tuner I’ve used. I’ve tried a lot of different ones and they never quite get it right so this one really does help a lot!

Ukeoke. I love this app. I wish there were more hip hop, r&b, or some more classic rock...by it’s great to get started, and learn key changes smoothly, and your chords.

Good for beginners!. My only criticism is that sometimes the chords simply don't sound right with the songs, but it's spot on for most of them!

Ridiculous. Subscription model is ridiculous. Just charge a one time fee for the damn app and leave it at that.

Wow ! Bought for my daughter but using it for me !!. Rellay nice app, convenient and it helps you learn at your rythme!! Must have even without paying you can use it really well.

:). Great app, I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn a) chords, b)easy songs, or c) a few challenging songs as well. I've only gotten it yesterday, and can already play a song! :) and my mum has only just bought me the ukelele... Hopefully this helps! P.s. the part I find the most fantastic, is that this is one of the only apps that has not been made ONLY for iOS 7. Apple has not let me get that update, so many apps are challenging to buy.

Fun. I like it. It would be even better if it would transpose keys and an easy way to order songs. I also would like more jazz standards and 70 s music. Overall I would recommend it.

No experience needed. I knew absolutely nothing up about playing the ukulele and now I can play full songs and sing along with them. The app is great about breaking down the cords and you can speed up or slow down the music based on how you want to play it or how good you are. It also has a great variety of music to choose from and they're always adding new songs. I recommend this app all the time to friends that are interested in learning a new instrument, it's worth every penny. I may get professional lessons later but this is a very inexpensive tool to really learn to play the uke!

It’s great???. I only use this for a tuner now. Only because you now only get 30 secs to play a song without a subscription. What happened to 7 day free trial?

Could improve but overall a good app. So far, I'm really really enjoying this app. I have several others and have done a few you tube tutorials yet I continue to come back to this one.. However, there's always room for improvement and I believe I personally gain from this app even more if the songs were sorted by difficulty. That way I could gradually improve versus selecting a song only to realize it's too challenging at this time and wasting a lot of time just trying to find a song I'm competent enough to play.

App. Love the app. I like that it shows me the strum pattern and that I am able to adjust the temp so h can learn better.

Can’t get past the loading screen. I was looking forward to using this app, but I only make it past the developer’s screen and to the app’s loading screen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled three times to no avail.

Worth the purchase. I purchased this app while I was in the South Pacific aboard a fishing vessel and finally found a ukulele in Kolonia Pohnpei in FSM. This app taught me how to play and enjoy the ukulele. Big thanks to the creators of the app!

Amazing to help learn. I used to be terrible, and I am a master! It helps me tune my ukulele, and the strumming pattern tutorials help a lot with creating songs!

Off key. Most of the tunes are off key. When playing without the app, the off key tunes sound horrible. Do not bother with any of these apps. Just teach yourself or hire a music teacher. You will be better off.

Ukeoke. I have been playing for about a year. What is cool is that I can really tell how much I have improved regarding chord changes. Much faster and smoother. Richard

Good app but worth the money?. This app is great I spent hours on it but I think the subscription is too expensive. It tunes my Uke great and has good songs but after the free trial it’s $5 monthly. Personally, I think this is wayyyy too expensive and something like $1 or $2 dollars is more reasonable.

BAD. i downloaded this to help me learn my ukulele because the books weren’t helping me at first it was good but after 4 days it says i need to pay. Why do i need to pay to learn songs on the ukulele?

Good app but could be great. Just what I was looking for, so I thought. The best part is that a beginner can practice a song like House of the Rising Sun pretty easily, even though it's hard at first, because the beat is there and there is no strum pattern. That is until you realize that the lyrics aren't accurate. The major drawback is when you get to a song with a strum pattern. For a beginner, it's impossible to even learn a song because they don't give you the strum pattern while you practice the song. You'd have to go back and forth between the pattern and the song. Or just have real experience learning to play already. I also wish I could search songs by the chords and strum patterns I already know, since I only know a few and want to practice those in songs.

it’s great except for a few flaws. you don’t get access to the full song on a lot of the songs, because you have to pay for them. i understand the need for the money but it’s a little bit expensive for my taste. it’s a good app for beginners to learn on familiar songs, just don’t get your hopes up for how long you’ll be able to play each day.

Exactly what you need to learn an instrument!. So many musicians swear by how easy and fun the Ukulele is to play. This app makes it as easy as a kazoo!

Ukulele. I got a Ukulele for Christmas and I love it so much and this helped me learn so much faster

I don’t recommend 😡. So I have been using this for my daughter for a while now. She loves it Because you can do manual tuning! and she can practice her favorite songs! Until we realized she had a free trial... it’s really expensive to get a monthly or yearly subscription 😒 now she can’t practice her favorite songs. So we’re really disappointed. I highly don’t recommend.
