Poorly designed app. I have been poking around on this app for the last 10 minutes and I cannot figure out how to actually register to get personalized content. I think the app design can use some improvement.Such tool is badly needed at this time.. it needs more intuitive design
Crashes. The app would be super helpful, if only it didn't freeze or crash! Every time I try to view a contraindication it freezes! Please fix!
Travel. Map of world has different colors for different countries-but there’s no map legend to explain the meaning of the different colors!
Knightlysportdoc. Updated to the new OS and the app no longer loads. I use it with patients to show what vaccines are needed. However, All the good value this app provides disappears when the app no longer loads on my iPad. Please fix this app
Can't believe they don't proofread their publications. Coming from a government institution like CDC it's unacceptable to find typos like "recommendedation" and it's repeated in every table! Unbelievable....
Thank you. Just makes things so much easier for us with 3 young kids. It's one less thing to worry about and easy one touch access can't be beat.
Great for NPs. Excellent resource for family or pediatric nurse practitioners!
Thank you. I wrote a review of this at DrSocial. Website where every free website results in. One dollar donation to medical research. Best regards.
Great start, Needs a little work. This app does a great job of simplifying the master chart that can be intimidating and confusing to the lay person. Other reviewers mention erroneous information, I saw none. My guess is they don’t quite understand how and where to start reading the recommendations based on their own health status. If you have NO chronic or acute medical conditions you look at the schedules organized by age, make sure you understand the color key. If you HAVE a chronic or acute medical condition, look at the “Adult Conditions,” or “Contraindications” recommendations FIRST, then use the schedule based on YOUR health status recommendations. The age schedules are written with the assumption there is NO underlying health conditions, so you have to keep that in mind. Suggestions for optimizing the app: -Disclaim upon opening the app, that the age schedules assume a “normal” health status -Instructions on how to use app -Option to customize a health profile that then populates a customized schedule
Ok. Could be so much more. This app could be better if it included less common vaccines. -or an option to add vaccines by date to inform the user the next vaccine due.
App stopped working. The app won’t open anymore.
Useless. Does not provide data on adverse effects from vaccines. Does not have a section dedicated to adverse effects and package inserts with prescribing information on vaccines.
Needs work. The app is a great idea for sending information to the CDC so they can track individual reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine. However, as each days progresses, symptoms may or may not change or increase. On day one after receiving the first vaccine one I was feeling fine, my only ailment being some mild nausea that went away after taking a Zolfran tablet. I was able to eat lunch and play with the puppy for a little while. But... that only lasted a couple of hours. About 7-8 hours later the nausea came back with a vengeance and I had some vomiting. I drank some Picot and went to sleep. About two hours later I was on a virtual call with Urgent Care after midnight due to more vomiting. I went to pick up more nausea meds and after taking, lied back down. 20 mins after that, my face is once again in my bedside trash can. Now this morning, I have a low-grade fever, chills, a slight headache, and abdominal cramps. I said all that to say, just because a person may do the initial health check, regardless of how they feel, good, fair or bad, there should be a way to continue to monitor and send their reactions to this vaccine continually. In my opinion, this is the ONLY way the CDC will be able to ACCURATELY monitor one’s symptoms and how long those symptoms do last. PLEASE UPGRADE Thank you
Great App, but needs update. Excellent app. Quick and easy to navigate. I hope they will update it soon to show the Meningococcal B recommendation for adults, along with the other recommendations the cdc recently published.
Not worth it. Not worth it
TD. Needs update to 2015 ACIP Vaccination Schedules Love & use this App,
App does not work with iPhone 6. It freezes, you can not press the home button
Please add travel Med to main screen. Recently downloaded the app so still in process of forming an opinion but so far I like it. Easy to use and like the function to click on vaccine for more info without having to go to separate page. One feedback/suggestion- please put a link to travel medicine on the main page. I use cdc website a lot for travel Med and initially was disappointed thinking the app didn’t have this info, but it does, just buried and hard to find. Would love to see this brought to the main page.
Needs work!. Great concept but doesn't work. Crashes constantly. Cannot push the back arrow so app has to be closed and reopened. Also cannot scroll the page to view all the vaccination schedules. Please fix!!
Terrible. Come on, this app is so bad. It looks bad and feels like something I would have made on my Commodore 64 about 45 years ago
Non intuitive - unusable. I have no clue what selection should i make for my J&J shot.
Not user friendly - very poor app. This app could not be less user friendly. Uses abbreviations that are unfamiliar to the layman for disease names. No separate guide for 65+. It is like a maze to figure out what vaccine you need. Also not iPhone friendly. The CDC needs an overhaul - they have made it increasingly difficult the last few years for one to figure out what vaccines you need.
Scary!. Two of the recommended vaccines for my age also show under “contraindications”. How is one to trust any of this information when it includes such gross error? It fails to indicate the frequency needed for most vaccines. Also, it would be best to incorporate a way of tracking your vaccinations record.
Errors abound. Great looking resource but unfortunately it won't let you go back after reviewing an item. This forces you to close the app and restart.
Not Working. App keeps crashing. Now it won't even update or redownload back on my iPhone. This app needs to be fixed. It was useful then all of a sudden it just stopped working.
Looking for vaccine information. Hi. Great app!! Have you created an app where we can find and schedule covid vaccination? That would be very helpful. Tha k you for this app and for your time!
Good app to review vaccine schedules. I’m a retail pharmacist, but I tend to forget the dosing schedule for vaccines. This is a good app for that, even if the reviews are bad for people looking for other features other than this. My only critique is that it doesn’t include COVID or travel vaccines.
Very imformative. Super helpful
A must for MDs. Good to have. All parents need this as well so they can keep up.
Perfect app. Exactly what I was looking for
Would vaccinate again. I love being able to read about the vaccines before each of my baby’s check-ups. By staying up to date on his vaccines we worry less that he’ll contract preventable diseases like measles that are really dangerous for babies, and when he’s older he won’t be able to transmit those diseases to others.
Perfect. Perfect reference for health professionals ...😷thanks❤️
