How to sign up for the pro membership?. I love this app and use it all the time, however I can’t find an option to upgrade to the pro membership for more sounds within the app.

Needs an update. I like the sounds this includes, but the app needs some updates. Being able to start/stop them via the button on my headphones would be great.

Needs “Mix with other apps” feature. Would have given a five star but I really expected a simple feature as this one to be available. An update with this feature included would be appreciated. For ref. check the app called Binaural on the App Store, I can play music and use the binaural beats app at the same time.

Pretty good, not great. This app is very user friendly, I love that you can make your own combos, its cute and simple, However, the sample tracks are just ok, I wish there were a few more and some need to be improved. Saving a combo is not super clear and I accidentally deleted a few before I figured it out. Also I love the timer, I wish there was an alarm option at the end of the timer, to wake up after or simply dift into silence.

Use it all the time. Especially in the office and on airplanes. Also my wife uses it to sleep sometimes. Great app!

Timer modification. I was introduced to Noisli as a (free) Chrome extension and love it primarily for the ability to set the timer to any amount of time I want. I was excited to find this iOS counterpart and didn't hesitate to pay $1.99 because my iPhone is where I would use the timer most, whereas my laptop is where I would use the white noise most. I expected this pay version to have at least the same features I got from the free app. BUYER BEWARE! It turns out this iOS app does not have a customizable timer and now I have paid for an app that doesn't do as much as its free version.

What I needed. This is the most beautiful app, and had everything I need when I was looking for an app with natural sounds.

App crashes. Edit: After deleting and reinstalling the app, Noisli regained its functionality. I’ve also changed my rating from one to five stars. Since updating my iOS, the app no longer functions as others have said. I enjoyed the app on an almost nightly basis, in order to help me fall asleep, for 5 years. I hope there’s an update soon. If there’s an update, I’ll change my rating to reflect the app’s current functionality.

Wonderful. I am so grateful for this app. The fact that it is ad free and so simple to use is such a breathe of fresh air. I love making sound combos. Noisli allows you to become a soundscaper. I can transport myself to the autumn sounds near my childhood home, camping, or a laying around in a hot apartment with a loved one with a few simple taps. Thank you Noisli for bringing me better sleep and endless nostalgia!

Hands down the best. Love this app have used it for years nothing comes close not even the newer ones.

Tinnitus life saver!. This is by far the best sound app I’ve ever tried. Based on the fact that I can now sit and read without a tv or some other sound on to drown out my ears ringing, this is well worth the couple bucks it costs

I wouldn’t have graduated without this. This drowns out noise without being distracting. I think I got this for free through Starbucks about four years ago, and I’ve installed it on all my phones since. I love you, Noisli.

Crashes with iOS 14.2. App hasn’t been updated in three years and now it’s crashing on launch 100% of the time on my iPhone XS since upgrading to iOS 14.2. I don’t expect it to be fixed. Before that, app worked just fine. I could hear the seams in the loops now and then, but loops were long enough that it wasn’t a huge issue. The white/pink/blue noise worked well to help with my tinnitus.

Excellent ! Needs more sound packs. Use it to sleep every night via a Bluetooth speaker system - perhaps add more sounds & sound variations 😉 P.S. THANK YOU for finally adding the ability for, it to play with other audio apps to mix things up more ! Now, I'll use it every single night 👍

Please keep going. This is one of my favorite apps and the quality of the sounds as well as the mixer/combo functions are amazing. I would love to see more sounds added over time to make more combos and to keep a good variety going as my mood for sounds changes quite a bit. As a number of friends also use this app it would be great to have a function that allows the sharing an syncing of combos to other accounts. Keep up the great work!

great, easy app. Had this app A few years ago and somehow lost it, tried multiple other apps in that time, but nothing else really compared. Re-downloaded, and still loving it! Only thing that helps me sleep, and i love the save custom sounds feature.

Almost there. I’m quite pleased with this well designed app and it’s meditative nature sounds except for the thunder sound which is not realistic sounding and the fact that the app stops playing if you try to add some background music from iTunes, Pandora or other music player apps. Simultaneously playing two separate sound apps together technically IS possible on an iOS device as other ambiance apps can do it or they have an “add background music” feature (the Coffitivity coffee shop app can do both) — so it somewhat disappointed me to discover that Noisli could do neither. Add that feature guys and improve the thunder sounds and I’ll give you 5 stars!

Helpful, with audio issues. A very helpful app for drowning out the noise from an open office format. There seem to be a few audio tracks that have other noises in them. I believe the rain or thunder tracks have violin (or something) notes in the background. Just an example, but fixing this would be helpful. This issue snaps me out of focus every time, which seems to be about every 15 minutes or so.

Surpassed my expectations. I find this app to have a functional simplicity that’s refreshing. The sound is clear and realistic, to me, and I hear neither a break nor jump in each sound loop cycle.

Not consistent. The worst part about this app is that it does not resume after anything else happens on my iPhone. Apple Music always does but this does not. It’s super annoying to have to go back into this app and restart over and over. Developers need to change this. Otherwise the app is great.

Air Pod Incompatible?. I didn’t think this was even possible, but Noisli just refuses to work with my Air Pods. I have an iPhone 6s+ and have been using Noisli for years and loving it but for some reason I get no audio output when using my Air Pods. I’d love to rate higher, and other headphones work well, but for some reason Noisli just doesn’t want to output to my Air Pods.

Calming rain. I got this app free from a Starbucks promotion many years ago. My favorite is the gentle rain sound (without the thunder). It’s so calming that I use it when reading, or doing art, or meditating.

Needs Landscape.. It’s ok, does what it does pretty well, but an app that has put work into an aesthetically pleasing experience shouldn’t make me flip my iPad whenever I want to use it. It’s actually getting pretty frustrating.

Well designed app that lacks updates and active development. My ideal app would provide me a passive soundscape I can easily work to. If I could mix this app’s design with Coffitivity’s function, that would be what I’m looking for. The app is beautiful and wonderfully designed. However, there is little development on this app with no updates or new version in over a year. But for 1.99, most people will be satisfied with the app as is.

It’s ok.. Looks very nice. That said, I’ll keep using an “ugly but more functional” white noise app until at least a couple of things are changed. Most importantly, allow for other audio to play (eg. Audible) while the white noise is on. I’d also like to see landscape on the iPad. Doesn’t seem like a big deal but when all your other apps are landscape and then you have to flip for this...it’s frustrating.

Needs improvement. The app is easy to use. The sounds are great and definitely relaxing. The background changes color on its own to pale colors meanwhile the text is white. This makes it very hard to see. The app uses very thin fonts that don’t adhere to Apple accessibility standards so the text is hard to read. I would prefer that we are able to select a static background color instead of it changing all the time. Pale mint color on white text basically makes the text disappear.

Love It!. It’s very simple but for $1.99, well worth it! I have tinnitus and when I don’t consciously try to ignore it, it can really be irritating. Using this app while reading, internet searching, before I go to sleep, whatever, really helps.

Works great, except.... I've tried many apps to help me fall asleep and this is by far the best. The sounds are not repetitive and making combonations is fantastic. My only reason for not giving this five stars is that as the background changes colors (which is really well done) the font and icons are *really* hard to see. That change would make this app perfect.

Almost. Only needs an update for the X. I had trouble figuring out how to set a custom timer until I realized it is programmed like a scroll wheel. Slide up or down on the time and set to your liking.

Amazing app yet this app needs app blocker. I am impressed how simple this app to use. Not like other applications this is far more simpler to use, you do not need an account to sign up, all you need is to pay for the app which is not too expensive. I’m not big fan of subscriptions because other developers is making others pay per month. Why not per year? People has to continue working to make money. Also as for your extension, I was kind of feeling disappointed because you’re doing subscriptions too, as long you are not demanding for money. For the rational reason I think your doing this to keep your applications from having any problems, especially from us customers using your app. As customer of these applications, instead of pressuring the developers to push themselves to work hard. Work smart than hard because it will be difficult to tackle onto difficult tasks, although I suggest breaking down the difficult tasks into steps to complete a harder task to improve this application. One more thing before I go. Do you mind adding an app blocker to keep myself and others from being distracted? Since social media, and the internet is source of my distractions I’m mostly on my iPad than my laptop. I think it would be smart if you add an app blocker, since I already paid for this when I got the app. Could you add the app blocker for people who already paid for the app?

Great for not being aware of your neighbors. By far the best background noise app, especially when coupled with noise canceling headphones and earplugs. Very useful for not hearing your lovely neighbors who love partying 24/7 and who love training their dogs to bark at nothing by giving them treats when they bark at nothing.

Needs music support. This app is great, but it would be perfect if you could play music at the same time as listening to the white noise.

Love this app!. I see a lot of people complaining about the simplicity of this app but I think that’s part of the reason why it’s so great! Transitioning from a fan in the summer to no noise is always hard for me so I found this app and now I fall asleep to a crackling fire and wind blowing. I’ve even recommended it to all my friends. Love it!

Great for focus, no shortcut to play on secondary devices. Love this app! I had used the chrome extension and liked that but think it is worth the small fee to have this available when I’m not connected to WiFi and have chrome open. I do wish it had a shortcut to play on external Bluetooth speakers, like google home/Sonos/etc.

Please adjust app size for iPhone 12 Pro Max. The app does what it says, but the user interface is not adjusted for the big screen of my iPhone 12 Pro Max and it looks like if it’s running on a smaller screen.

No tricks. It’s just … peaceful.. I love this app. I leave reviews all the time. Good, bad, indifferent and most of the bad reviews revolve around the app not living up to what it promised or, hidden fees. There are some sound elements that could be enhanced, but that doesn’t throw a speck of dust on the fact that Noisli is simple, easy to use and surprisingly spontaneously awesome. It’s playing in the background as I write this review. To the Devs: Thank you! Future Update Suggestions: please improve the ocean sounds / the ocean seems frenetic and it is anything but frenetic. Good ocean = 😍

Great app! But I’m curious.. I love this app. It’s perfect for when I need to focus or relax by blocking things out. But I am curious... sometimes I feel like I hear very, very, very faint string music behind the sounds. Is that there? Am I hearing things?

Creative Solution!. After seeing this app featured in an article, I decided to try it. I’ve used it consistently for 2 weeks now, and I have seen a noticeable difference in how easy it is to fall asleep to the soothing sounds. I feel like the app is basic, and it could have some more sounds and features. It has room to grow, but it is still very usable.

Please allow landscape orientation. I love this app and I use it for hours everyday while studying. I wouldn’t change anything about it except for the fact that it always locks in the portrait orientation, even when my iPad is in the Keyboard folio. It’s annoying because then all my apps are stuck into that orientation as well, so I need to flip them around.

Almost perfect. I use the app every night. It’s is calming and I love the sound combos. My only complaint is when the colors change on the screen sometimes it is impossible to see the timer etc.

More sounds please. I’ve used this app nightly for over a year. My husband and I love it! I wish there were some new sounds added. I would love a heartbeat/baby uterine heartbeat sound. Those are such comfy and loving sounds to me. But even still I’ll continue to use this app.

Not bad but a bit dated. Love the sounds and the simple interface. However the app hasn't been updated since 2015 and doesn't feature as many sounds I hoped for. Plus there is no landscape mode for the iPad, which is a big let down.

Overpriced. It is a great concept but not a whole lot of bang for your buck. The app simply combines sounds to make a soothing experience to help you work or sleep. It would be nice if there was an alarm function in addition to the off timer

Good but Old. New user of Noisli. I think this app has great use, sounds are good, simple design (which not a lot of sleep sound apps have a clean design). The only thing is that I wish they would update the platform. It does not fit the newer models of iPhones. I hope they update this.

Good but shoulda saved the $2. App is nice but I should have saved the two dollars and instead used the desktop web version which offers additional features and is entirely free.

Free apps that do the same thing. Didn’t see the big deal. There are plenty of free apps out there that offer sounds. I paid for the app and was given a few sounds. However, you have to subscribe to get features and full accessibility. Not worth it. Regret paying for the app.

Please Please Please. Please release an update accommodating to users with larger phones, i have an iphone x and i love the look and design of this app but it doesn’t fit my screen, not a problem as i don’t stay on the app, but cmon

Best Sleep App I’ve Used!. The sound quality is GREAT! When hooked up to a good speaker, the sounds REALLY come alive! Definitely worth buying!

Is this app still supported?. App works as intended, but is still not updated for the new screen format of the iPhone X and beyond. Is this app still supported? The last update was years ago. I can’t make a recommendation to get this app unless it will be maintained at the very minimum to support new screen formats.

Air pod functionality. Great little app, but feels a little dated now as the air pod functionality (paused when remove an ear bud) would be useful in a work environment (how I use the app).

Good but could be great. Love the app but a few things would make it perfect. It needs the sound to fade in/out so that it starts/stops more gently rather than the sudden start/stop that it does now. Also needs to not stop when you receive phone calls/messages, or be able to cast to a speaker to overcome this.

iPhone XS. Great app! But you need to do an update for iPhone XS interface.

It’s great.. Really handy app. I like using it when I work. I love it’s flexibility, I just with there were more sounds.

Beautiful app, great audio, few bugs. I work in an open plan office and can't concentrate if listening to music while working, so ambient noise is great for me. This app has so many things going for it: beautifully recorded audio, great design, and the ability to mix different types of ambient noise in different ratios to create a unique 'mix' for any given work session. I especially love the cafe noises, where the low burble of voices is good at blocking out external conversations without itself being distracting. However there are a few minor bugs: returning to the app after using another app makes the sliders freeze; sometimes the app is unresponsive to swiping between pages unless you swipe right along the bottom of the screen; and when I pull my headphones out, the sound doesn't pause (like the native iphone music and podcast apps do) but instead starts blaring out the speaker into the office around me. Oops, sorry coworkers. (It's also hard to see from the icon when the mute has been engaged.) If I had another request it'd be to add a few more different types of rain (I love the rain). But really I'm pretty happy with this app, and look forward to the bugs being fixed!

Love it. Maybe add a few extra sounds. A cat purring perhaps? Maybe backyard noise during daytime like a lawn mower in distance? Love the simplicity though. Don't ever make it more complicated than it needs to be.

Cars driving by. I love it! Helps me focus, yet it also helps me sleep. I have one request: add the sound of singular cars driving by at night and/or in the rain - works a treat!

Tranquil Forest Stream. Great execution and design. Really love that I can combine sounds and adjust the volume for each one to create my desired ambience.

.. Perfect app for falling asleep to. Love the recordings and the availability to have more than one recording go at a time and to save selected recordings.

Basic. It has 16 sounds and you can save your combos. For the price compared to similar apps I think it is the bare basics and a bit rich for what it is. Disappointed.

One of the few apps I kept. I moved to a new device, and this is one of the few apps I was emotional about, I was actually missing it, I was so looking forward to downloading it again. It is super simple, it is free and it lets me mix and match sounds of nature to my mood. I feel so much better working with it, it helps maintain my own favorite ambience wherever I go. Great but.... Great app/idea, but it would be 5 stars if you could also set a start time for it. I want to set it to start before my alarms go off in the morning to get me in the mood or even wake up with it. Would love you guys if you gave us that option.

Timer function not working. How on earth do you adjust the timer function? I have an iPhone X... I've downloaded the app twice now and there's no way I can change the timer duration. It pops up either 25 minutes or 59 minutes and no way to tap in the box or any other way to change the timer duration. I'm trying to use the app with children and the maximum time they can meditate is 15 minutes. At the moment the app is not really of use. Please advise? I don't have a Twitter account so can't use that app support area...

Needs random or preset. Just downloaded, good, but would really like some recommended presets or a random button.

The gold standard for white noise apps. I've tried a bunch of white noise apps and keep sticking with Noisli. The samples seem like they have a higher noise density than other apps', and do a better job of blocking outside sounds. Some days it's the only thing that makes trying to work in an open plan office bearable. Or trying to read while taking public transit. I'm writing this review now because I read of another noise app recommendation, gave it a try, found it lacking, and realized just how excellent Noisli is. If there were a subscription option to pay receive periodically receive new sounds, that might be cool. (Ideas: different rainstorms, pitter-patter, the warp core of a starship definitely not called The Enterprise 😏) Also, maybe the option to ⭐️ favourites and have them displayed on the front page of sounds. Thanks!

Does not work. I have to delete the app EVERY EVENING and re-download it in order for it to work.

My go-to for work. I work in an open concept office with lots of chatter. The ‘coffee shop’ sounds on Noisili are the only way I can concentrate on my tasks. This app is a godsend.

so thankful. this app helps me focus on my studying and is extremely helpful to make me fall asleep! it is so soothing and different combinations help me with different things :)

Great but somewhat offensive. Great app that has the aesthetics, UI, and features you'd expect from a paid app. The sounds are great... for the most part. It would be nice if the white, pink and black noises were lower pitched. They're really rough on the ears which stands out from the other sound that are all pretty much perfect! If the colour noises go down in pitch (significantly) then i would definitely give five stars

Love It, But Missing One Little Thing. I use this app all the time to help me focus in my busy office. BUT... Any chance we'll get landscape support for the app? I use my iPad in a keyboard dock and it would be handy to not have to flip the iPad when I want to tun on my sounds. Great job!

Perfect app. Super basic background noise application that is very easy to use. Also comes with a timer so it doesn't have to be on all night, if you're using it for sleep. 5 star for sure.

Easy to use but not a lot of sounds available. Much easier to use than some of the other similar apps I have tried. It takes only a few minutes to figure out how to make and save combos. On the downside, I find the choice of sounds rather limited.

Great, but can't pause if I'm interrupted. Would be amazing if only it actually tapped into the audio system of the phone so I could pause it and play it with my microphone controls. The only way to stop it is to fumble through my phone and hit the tiny pause icon in the app, or rip my headphones out of my ears if someone tries to talk me at work. Please make use of the audio APIs for iOS!

Great app but way too big in size. I use the desktop app all the time and this is pretty great as well but 255mb download is insane. Trim it down.

Good App, some annoying bugs though. I like this app, I use it for studying all the time, but there are some annoying bugs that prevent me from giving it a 5 star rating. The volume sliders don’t usually do any thing for one, the tracks make a jarring click when they loop, and when I take out the headphones, it plays the sounds on speaker, no matter if my phone is on mute and do not disturb, very annoying in the library!

Great concept. Well done.. Neat concept. Allows you to blend sounds and create and environmental soundscape. Would love to have this as a CARPLAY app so they I could use it during my commute. I would be so happy.

Cool little app. Works good. Only wish some sounds could go louder, such as the fan sound.

Not worth the price. Glitchy, incomplete , not many sounds at all. Better off going to YouTube than buying this piece of junk. Tries to make you forget you are being ripped off by changing the background color. If this could have actually been developed with a semblance of creativity i would recommend but the creators could have just recorded the noises outside and tried to make a buck. I could fart out a better app than this and add it to the noises.

Does not have background support. I bought this for the single reason of playing over top of my music. It claims it can do this but it can’t.

Good app!. Great app, just an FYI to people complaining about how the website is free and how they shouldn’t pay for the app. Please keep in mind that it takes time and resources for individuals to get compensate for the work that they do to keep the website running so paying for the app means that you are supporting the people behind providing this service.

FYI Website: FREE App: $2.79. Had I known the website is free, wouldn’t have wasted my time. Also, the app doesn’t have a feature to work in sessions. Considering people purchased the app, why not add this feature?

Love it-some bugs. I really like this app, great concept, sounds and look are cool too- except sometimes I find the sound and sliders break. Either the sound doesn't start or the sliders don't do anything.

Best white noise app out there. But am I the only one who wants a windshield wiper noise?

Awesome app!. I got this app for free from a Starbucks coupon card and I absolutely love it! I use it to study, fall asleep, while I'm reading, relaxing, and much more. There's noting wrong with it!

Great app! Needs apple health integration. It's great for relaxing, focusing, drowning out other sounds and for meditation. Would be great if it integrated with apple health mindfulness tracking.

Good UI. Best UI I’ve seen of any white noise app, but it’d be greatly improved with Shortcuts support.

good app, needs more. this is a very good app in that it actually works! most background noise apps are hard to use or annoying but i really like the layout, functionality and general use of this app. i would like to see more sounds though. as well as a landscape supported version. I don’t understand why it costs money for the app when there’s a free website... i’ve had some issues where it’ll stop playing if a sound occurs on my device and then not resume playing.

Holy Grail. Layered sounds to stay asleep … no need for WiFi or cell connection when in a pinch. I love this app so much.

WHERE IS THE WRITING FEATURE. I bought this app $2.00+! with the intention to increase me productivity when writing. I saw this app catered to both needs so I took the risk and bought it. In mobile view, and on Safari, there is NO writing icon. I googled where I can access this feature; nowhere. I'm not sure if writing is limited to just desktop.. I sincerely hope not as this app is likely used for one the go use. Either I get my money back or they update. A pitiful app at best, don't say there is a writing feature if there isn't. Do NOT buy.

Great but HUGE app. I love Noisli but if you don't have much space on your phone, skip this app. It's much larger than I expected it to be.

Love it!. This is now my go to bedtime program. It used to be my iPod or Internet radio, but this is so much nicer to fall asleep to. My suggestion would be to add a Vacumn cleaner sound & a hair dryer. But also add a means of changing the 'pitch' or sound frequency of the noise to suit each individual. Some stock sounds would be a bit too high or low. Chane the pitch to that sweet spot where the brain goes "ahh"! That would make this damn near perfect! Thanks again.

Great for relaxing. I've been enjoying this app for years! It's great for sleep, meditation or just relaxing. Only wish there were more sounds to add but you do have plenty of great sound options that come with the app.

No Developer Support. Paid for the premium approx. five years ago - logged in today and there aren’t any new sounds or features :( No ads or interruptions, I love that. The app was last updated six years ago in 2017. Hope the developer’s okay.

Sounds = Imagery. I just got this app yesterday, and started mixing some sounds. It was so awesome to just hear calming birds chirping and a stream running that I decided right away that I'd use it to fall asleep. I had no idea I'd actually like just listening to sounds, but it is so relaxing to. Mixing the sounds in certain ways surprisingly makes it so easy to paint a picture in your head. I used chirping birds, wind, a stream and leaves rustling to make it sound like I am on a mountain, perhaps sitting on a chair by a cabin. It is so easy to see yourself somewhere else when there is sound and you close your eyes, I had no idea. I find it to be the perfect way to take your mind away from everything before you sleep. The app does keep making sounds even when you exit, meaning you can listen to it while on Facebook, reading, browsing the Internet, etc. (maybe even when writing App Store reviews...) It also has a timer so that you can set how long the sounds play for, meaning you can sleep without caring about battery (the sounds will fade out one by one when the timer ends, which actually makes you feel like you are falling asleep, it's crazy). I do agree with some earlier reviews though that you should be able to set these sounds as an alarm, because that would be awesome.

Abandonware. Almost always have to force quit the app because it doesn’t play any sound. Once I force quit, it starts working again, but it’s really annoying to have it to do every time. The developer seems to have abandoned this app. There hasn’t been any bug fixes for 2 years.

Wonderful. This app is great! I used it on a long bus ride with loud people and just put on the rain and thunder and read a book. Blocked out everything and put me in a wonderful mood!

Very Useful, A+. This app does exactly what I need it to setting the sounds for whatever setting - studying/reading, being productive, relaxing. Perfect for me!

It's ideal for studying and sleeping!. The option to create your own "white noise" is awesome. I have a relaxing one for sleeping and a more vibrant one to block out unwanted noises while studying (and not put me to sleep).

Great app. This is the best noise app I've used to date. I love the timer, the variety of sounds, and the customizable combination of sounds. Would love to have new sounds every once in a while though, like a more distinct pitter patter rain sound, city traffic, or large/low-tone wind chimes.

Well designed, with one big flaw. A fantastic, cleanly designed app in every way but one huge one: it needs to pause/stop the noise when the headphone jack is unplugged. Compared to most iPhone audio that stops automatically when you (purposely or accidentally) unplug, Noisli keeps playing loudly until you go through the clumsy steps of unlocking your phone, opening the app, and stopping the sound manually. At best it's inconvenient, at worst it can be very embarassing to unplug and blast a quiet room or train car with loud noise from your phone.

Please fix iOS 14.2 bug/crash!. After updating to iOS 14.2, the app immediately crashes within a second of opening each time. Please fix and push an update, I rely on this app for my sanity so much! 💙

Good option for customizable ambient noise.. Noisli provides an array of 16 decent-quality audio samples of nature, generated noise, and a couple of other choices to suit specific tastes (including a travelling train, a traditional electric fan, a coffee shop, and a fireplace). The good: multiple sounds can be activated at once and individually balanced. (A little wind with your gentle stream?) Once that's done, you can switch apps and let that carry on. If you don't, the clean interface phases gently between hues. Customizations can be saved and recalled. A couple of complaints: no landscape mode – an inconvenience for those who use an iPhone or iPad stand. More than once, I've had a second volume slider appear (at a different displayed level) directly on top of the already visible one. In short, the interface isn't polished to a shine.

Thank you. Just wanted to say thanks for real sounds and adjustable volume for each sound. The preset combos are just a bonus really. I have to point out that other apps sub in the pink noise for a fan or short loops for a bubbling brook.. This app uses long loops and genuine sounds. I'm working on spreadsheets but my mind is in a forrest listening to birds chirping. Better than listening to my neighbors typing their report! Thank you thank you!!

Sorry, false advertising!. Just bought this app specifically because the description claims it supports background audio. It does not. Booooo.

It could be better.. I like the simplicity of user interface of the app. I use this app on a daily basis. I use the white noise sound(s) to put my 6 month old baby to sleep. It works great, except for one issue that I have been having. I think it might be a looping issue or something. But basically when I use the app for a long period of time (sometimes for an hour) to put my baby to sleep. The white noise would skip or the looping of the sound isn't in sync or something. It basically makes a skipping noise and continues playing. This is a problem for me because as my baby falls asleep that skipping noise sometimes wakes him up.

Beautiful. I love this app! I have looked at the website many times before and am glad that I downloaded the app. I have a lot of relaxing sound apps but I really love this one because the layout is so beautiful and minimal. I love the choice of sounds too. I would love to be able to choose a color as a set background and be able to control the amount of birds on the forest sound. This is a premium app at a great price and I highly recommend it. Thank you for making a great app!!! ^^*

I love it!!. I’m the primary babysitter for my month old nephew and he LOVES the noises on this app! And I love them too! We go to sleep to this app every time TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY!

Timer Issues. Love the app, but the timer needs to be customizable! Sometimes it says 25 min, sometimes it says 1. I’d like to set it myself!

Great and simple but..... I love everything about this app, but it seems to interfere with my morning Alarms if it happens to still be playing when my alarm is set to go off.

Absolutely amazing. I rarely spend money on apps, but this one is so well executed with a very practical (yet beautiful) use that getting it was no brainer. I use this for creative writing and relaxing mostly. Two things I'd love to see as a user...I noticed that in certain situations two knobs will appear on one sound and the second won't go away till I restart the app. The second thought is that a true fan sound (for cooling down) would be helpful for people who are used to sleeping with a fan. I know, ideas are a dime a dozen ;). But this is definitely the best and most useful app I have seen in awhile! Thanks!

Needs External Audio Compatibility. This is such a great white noise app! All it needs is to be compatible with external audio (i.e. Listen to music with a noisili combo in the background)

Great, just a couple nitpicks. Wish there was landscape on iPad and it was updated for iPhone X dimensions.

Needs to be louder. The max volume should be raised, I can barely hear it when I’m just using my phone’s speakers.

Will not allow other audio to play simultaneously. I was looking for white noise to play along with podcasts to block out noisy neighbors. When you open this app it turns off other audio

Frog sounds. It’s an awesome app but they could improve by adding frog sounds at night. If they did it would be a solid 5 stars!

Wowza. I've only been using this for about 5 minutes and this is by far one of the coolest apps ever!! This was Starbucks' "app of the week" so when I saw it, I picked one up bc it reminded me of something my dad would like. I ended up dling it first to see how I'd like it myself and it's awesome. The sounds are so high def. that I almost forget the thunder is only fake. Best part of it all is that it was free!! Still, I'd probably pay for it if I'd discovered this sooner. Definitely recommend for those nature lovers!

Fix the rain track!!. I’m a super light sleeper and white noise is what I need to sleep. The rain track is perfect but only for a few minutes. Then a random violin track starts playing in the background??! Get RID OF THE VIOLIN. It’s maddening! Make it just rain and this app would be great! Ugh.

Simplistic and Elegant. I just downloaded this app from the Starbucks pick of the week and I love the design along with the transition of the colors. It's simple to navigate the app and quickly understand how to use the app. This will be great for when I'm studying and don't want utter silence or want to fall asleep. On a side note the timer and fade out feature are a great addition as well. Thank you for such a great product and hope to see more ambient noises in the future :)

I never write reviews, but.... This app seriously has changed my life. That might sound dramatic for a simple noise-maker app, but it's true. I'm a CIT student and I have to study pretty much every free second of every day, and I live in a loud environment that doesn't always lend itself well to that. This app is amazing for creating a soothing environment when you're trying to drown out the noise. I used to listen to instrumental music when I studied because lyrics can be distracting, but if you truly want to zone out to what you're doing Noisli is so much better for that. I find myself totally in my own world to this app and coming back to myself after a nice long study session and realizing Noisli is still going, pretty much forgetting about it because it was working so well, is really what it's designed for. As odd as it sounds, you won't even realize it's doing it's job. Just recently, too, I started sleeping with the fan/wind combo going instead of keeping my ceiling fan on all night (because it's getting cold) and it works very well for that too. Totally keeps the dogs from waking me up across the house. I can't recommend this app enough, you HAVE to try it to understand.

Great App But Want Ocean Sounds. I’ll add a fifth star when ocean sounds are added. Otherwise, I still use it all the time.

Casting/Streaming. Being able to cast to smart devices would be nice.

No longer works. Broken, don’t bother downloading. This hasn’t been update to the latest iOS (v12), and now has a consistent lag when using. About every 30s or so audio drops out, making it unusable.

Baby Tested and Approved. I downloaded this app before for some ambient noise of myself to relax. Last week, my little nephew who is only three months came over and was getting fussy. I turned on the computer and used the online app. My sis-in-law was amazed because it knocked out my nephew within minutes. She downloaded it herself and says it works like a charm when my nephew needs to take a nap and it’s better than the white noise machine they bought to calm him. I also say it’s a better buy because you can take it with you when you go to a place where you can’t take a white noise machine. So, thanks for making such a great app that gives my nephew sweet dreams.

Unimpressed. For an app I paid for, I expected a lot more sound options. The brightly colored background is jarring , I would prefer a dark mode. I don’t think I’ll use the app much.

Love it but would love Sonos support!. This is my favorite white noise app, but having just got Sonos speakers, I would love if I could play Noisli over them.

Great for relaxation. Thank you to Starbucks for making the app of the week otherwise I never would have known about it! Realistic sounds that you can mix & match & at different volumes is fantastic as you can tailor it to the mood that you want. It assists in relaxation, also for when you need to concentrate. I am using it in my natural therapy clinic to create the right ambiance.

Great App. I really enjoy this app! My one request is to add generative ambient tone/pads that can be mixed with the field recordings. As others have mentioned the app is a honker in terms of storage usage. Perhaps you could offer a preview in the app and then users could download the full sound if they like it. I know this may not be financially viable for you since you will need a server so maybe some in app purchases to get sound bundles would help with the server costs?

Great app! But slightly outdated. Support for new devices such as iPhone X and newer would be great!

Please update. Very nice looking app, that gets the job done. Please update this app to fit the screens of the X style notched phones. It’s not great paying for an app that is not kept up to date.

No HomePod Support. Thoroughly disappointing to have paid for this and afterwards learn it does not have wifi output support. Perhaps it’s more difficult than I think to build in that functionality, but come on!

needs a bit more work. this is a nice simple app. so why can’t it display in landscape mode on the ipad? it does change its layout for the bigger screen but rotates to portrait mode. hopefully the developer will fix this.

App crashes on launch every time. What a bummer. This app just crashes on launch every time.

Great noise generator, glitchy app.. I love the sound that the app produces and the ability to easily mix sounds. Unlike some other generators I’ve tried, it doesn’t obviously loop within a few seconds. The UI would be clean and good if it worked well. -2 stars for all the UI glitches. Volume sliders frequently don’t disappear when toggling sounds off. Sometimes multiple sliders are rendered under a sound that isn’t playing. Multiple lines of text are rendered on top of one another when adding a preset. It’s not a complete deal breaker but feels very sloppy. I often find myself killing it and restarting it to get it into the state I want.

Basic but neat. Simple functional app. Wish it had airplay support, though...

Loved it on web, great to have it on iPhone!. ---update--- I used noisli on a trip to Korea recently. Paired with Bose QC headphones it made the flight really easy to get through (12 hours in economy at 6'5" tall doesn't usually feel easy!). Then we had a 5 hour middle-of-the-night bus journey which noisli helped me sleep through most of. Finally, it was great for jetlag sleep. Thank you! ---Old review---- I use the website at work to drown out the AC hum and the louder desk meetings that happen often. I'm really happy I can now plug in to my iPhone to get the same effect and can't wait to have this paired with my noise canceling headphones on long flights. The sounds are high quality and you rarely hear a loop restart or skip. The only negative I have is the size of the app. At around 240MB it would have been too much for my 16GB iPhones. Glad I got a 32GB one this time so I can keep this app without worry :-)

Great for productivity. Started using this in my home office to give me a little bit of ambient noise. I have found it much easier to concentrate and quite enjoy the ability to change up the noise, add in different sounds etc. Super easy app to use. One improvement would be the ability to pause the sounds through the native iOS sound controls. For example you cannot pause the sounds by sliding up from the bottom of your home screen. IOS does not recognize that the app is actually playing sounds. So you cannot pause from here.

Simple and delightful. My new go-to app for comforting background sounds while I work. Good job developers

Great App for shift workers. I have worked many years that I have to sleep during the day. I have used many ambient sound machines to help sleep. This app is terrific. After a while on other apps I would memorize the sounds and it became distracting thinking of the sound patterns before they play. On this app you are able to make certain sounds louder or softer. Sometimes I like to hear just rain or a full rain shower with wind and breeze. I definitely will recommend to others.

A suggestion. Please add an airplane cabin noise! That would be awesome!

Everything I could hope for. I have been using the actual Noisli site for a good while now and as soon as I found out about the app, I downloaded is right away on both my iPad and iphone. I was not let down as the app is exactly like the site. The ability to travel to a coffee shop and sit next to a fireplace while sitting in my desk at work, on my commute, or at a random location is the most beautiful thing i could ask for. I hope to see a desktop app in the future where I don’t need to use my internet browser and can control the volume from the control bar ;) just a future thought to the developers… anyways thanks for creating a beautiful app that works perfectly :)
