*Walkr uses a design that consumes the least amount of power. If you use a mobile phone below iPhone 5, running GPS in the background can record your walking more accurately. However, it may still reduce the battery life. You can go to "Settings"> "Walkr" on your phone to stop the "Location" function of Walkr.

A little confusing but fun, interactive, and engaging. It’s taking time to get used to the different screens and functions, especially since they don’t have a lot of navigational pointers / reminders after the tutorial, which had a lot of information for something it’s hard to find again. Found the FAQ in Support and re-read the guide. Had to read it a couple of times and switch between the app to understand. If it were a bit friendlier to those trying to learn the functions, it might keep them coming back.

Favourite game ever. This is the only review I’ve ever written, but this is also the only game/app that I’ve consistently used for 7+ years now. I download games pretty frequently, and usually delete them within a month. Some, I’ll keep for several months or even a year. But this is the only game I’ve stuck with since I got it. A big piece, I think, is because it is so cute!! I adore the little planets and aliens and how unique and creative and detailed everything is. But the other major great thing about this game is that it’s not static—the developers are continually updating and adding more planets and features, and THAT is what makes it continually enjoyable. I won’t feel like I’m “done” until I hit the top of the world leaderboard. Another thing: I like that it takes some time to do everything—collecting, feeding, lab donations, etc. But it doesn’t take forever, and once I’m done, there’s nothing to do but leave it be for a few hours or a day. So it doesn’t consume all my waking hours, but it keeps me coming back consistently. Anyway, I love this game, it’s super fun and I doubt I’ll be getting rid of it for a while yet. :)

Really fun but... I really have been enjoy this app, probably a bit too much!! But considering I hardly ever carry my phone on me, I use a Bluetooth earpiece, I just wish there was a way to get all my activity actually logged. And the ONLY reason I gave it just 3 stars is I also agree with other reviews on here that it takes way to many days to get to another planet! But I will say that you can ignore the person that wrote that the “Green Garden” is the last planet and that you have to download another app just to get it.. It was my 15th planet. Lastly, I truly hate to say this but the developer’s really need to have sales more often, the last 7 day sale of cubes... I went a little overboard but “instant gratification” was worth it because some of the “Wonders” are really neat!! Great for you but not so much on my wallet.. lol. Thanks and please do add more planets just the thought of running out of them is unpleasant. 👍🏻

Step up for the stars!. Before this app I wouldn’t know or care how many steps I take but now I look at my steps everyday. I love the cute themed planets and it makes me want to explore them all. I can now monitor the difference in steps when I’m at work vs a day off. It is such a great incentive especially when I need more steps so I go clean something in the house instead of watching Netflix and it isn’t boring because it is proceeding this game. I highly encourage you to check out other fourdesire games as well (plant nanny, fortune city).

I like it too much but. I rarely write reviews but I am really enjoying this app and I adore it so far. I think it’s super cute, and a really great idea. However, I think I’m enjoying it a bit too much 😂 It is a little more time consuming than I expected, but luckily I recently made a goal to spend more time enjoying myself. One huge downside for me is the inability to use the steps counted by my smartwatch. The thing about being a woman is our pants often don’t have pockets, and on top of that, steps aren’t counted while the phone is charging. Consequently, I’m missing out on a WHOLE LOT of steps that aren’t being counted. Overall, I think it’s a cool concept and a fun app, but I’m retracting a star for my wasted steps. I’m hopeful the developers are able to receive an opportunity for adding the ability to read from other step counting apps, because that would make this app just perfect 👌🏼

One of the best games out there!!!. I absolutely love this sweet little game. I’ve been playing it on and off for over five years now and something keeps me coming back almost every single day. I’m by no means top rated or even nearly one of the best, but I will always come back to check on my planets. I love that it’s not incredibly time consuming but there’s enough to do to entertain me for a while and pass time. It motivates me to get up and out walking on days I might not have otherwise. This game is so lovely, I don’t think I’ll ever stop playing!

I don’t play games BUT...... I have to admit I’m pretty hooked on this one. It actually motivates me to walk because I refuse to purchase anything for games and for this one the currency is me walking! It also really keeps me interested because there is so much creativity. I doubt I’ll ever get board. My only complaints are the lack of instruction and explanation, I’m sure there are strategies that may be obvious to gamers but Im kinda list sometimes. The other thing I’m not thrilled about is the requirement to invite friends to reach certain goals. But I know that’s just required marketing. Mostly I love it.

Definitely helps me focus!. I love how this app keeps me in tune with how much I am walking and I don’t normally play games on my phone but I come back to this app every day multiple times to make sure that my planets are being fed and I’m gaining the energy that I should be. The only thing I don’t like about it is when you are in a challenge with others and the other people don’t do their part. That can be frustrating but that has nothing to do with the app itself. I’m so glad Plant Nanny made me download it! LOL! Added... I have been getting WAY over 10,000 steps each day due to this game! Win win!

Fun game but it’s getting expensive. Super fun game. I’ve been playing for several years now. I love the epic missions. A couple of downsides, for me... I wish it was able to capture steps from Apple Watch as opposed to just by phone, but that’s minor. Also, I can’t believe you charge so much for the spaceships. I would totally get a penguin if I could pay with my cubes or something. But not for $30 cash. That’s a lot of money. Plus the asteroid belts can only be purchased with cash. It’s starting to feel like you’re only trying to make money off of people. Give us a chance to earn things through other ways. I enjoy the game overall, but a few changes would make it even better. :)

Fun game. Ive been playing this game for years and i only have two complaints the first would be the way the step system works. I feel that sometimes the step count isn't accurate as its in mu purse or sometimes i forget to put it in my pocket, i wish they had a way to share information with my fit bit. Second complaint is the epics. I wish they would let you solo the epics after a while as upgrading planets gets more costly so id like to get the rewards on my own without having to take 3 people. Other than that the game is quite fun and i enjoy discovering planets and having my steps converted to energy.

Doesn’t not synchronize with iWatch. I’ve used this app for years. Loved it. Suddenly last night the lab I belong to disappeared. So no challenges left for me. I collected all planets, and all are at the highest level. New planets are released slowly. I started travel as an energy fairy to different labs and wish that travelers were able to leave links from there labs for a thank you visit. Otherwise it’s hard t know which lab is which given that most of them are named in non-Latin alphabet. Another big issue is that in order to have my steps recorded and transformed into energy, I have to drag my phone with me all the time. The steps recorded by iWatch are not synchronized in this app. This needs to be fixed.

Super great!! But currently glitchy..... I love this game, and honestly it is one of the very few apps that I use daily. However, after downloading their most recent update, the game has become glitchy to a point that it has become nearly impossible to play. It freezes within a few moments of opening, and doesn't unlock unless you reboot it. At that point, the cycle begins again, with mere seconds to get things accomplished before the game freezes yet again. It hasn't always been this bad, so I look forward to a speedy solution from the developers to make this game fun--rather than laborious--once again in the near future!! (Also, it'd be cool if there were somewhere within the app or elsewhere to report issues like this, rather than for the world to see in an app store rating. Or if there is a place, make it not so hard to find! I searched the website AND the app.) (Also, you can delete my rating after the issue is fixed please, thanks!)

Not Sold On It. The app is cute, simple but not too simple, engaging and well built. My only complaint is I am no more motivated to what I downloaded the app for- walk. If you are patient, you could never walk and still get by in this game. I’m sure once you get to higher numbers of planets that wait would get to be unreasonable and you would be more motivated. However, I have ~13 planets and 1 astroid belt, have reached level 6 and made numerous upgrades to my ship, but I’m no more motivates than ever to wall. The closest I have come to walk to build currency in the game is with the astroid belt, but only the first is free. I wish that the astroids were the ones you bought with coins and time, while the planets were the ones you discovered with walking energy.

Can be confusing. I like it. Was going to stop messing with it but it is really fun. Not much of a “game” as much as just fun. There are a lot of aspects I am not really sure how to use. I downloaded it initially to get a specific planter on Plant Nanny about a year ago, now I just have fun with it but I still don’t understand a lot of how it works. The labs are super confusing and I only last week learned how to get in on the Epics. I am enjoying the major coin haul from that and I just started doing the daily exercises to learn how the teleporter works. Also, I am walking more, even if only in place while watching TV to increase my energy for the Epics. The FAQ’s answer a lot of questions but I still don’t know how much of the app works. I wish there was a web page I could go to and learn all about how it all works.

**Fun Game**. This is a fun way to track your steps in a day. My wife and I do it together and basically we can turn walking into a visual representation that we can see. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because sometimes it doesn’t accurately track my steps. It will say I got x amount of steps, but when I look at my energy log it is less. Also the cubes are expensive and you need a massive amount of real cash to purchase anything. In my opinion this game is not as sophisticated as say “clash of clans” and the cost to purchase cubes should not be as high as it is. Most of the ships are worthless and they have too many ships with low stats. Upgrades are also expensive and don’t really give you anything more that extra food storage. The company sent out notices that more ships are coming, I’m hoping they are reasonable to obtain and actually can be upgraded. It’s a fun game to play with friends and definitely a fun way to track your steps in a day. You can play the game for free and not make cash purchases and still have fun with it. I recommend it to anyone who is tracking steps. The only other thing is that the game has trouble tracking mega walking days. I’ve had days of almost 20,000 steps and the game seems to malfunction when this happens and does not track them. It will reserve some of the steps and credit them the next day and eventually not give them to me at all. That is disappointing.

Looks amazing, needs Apple Watch support. I’ve downloaded and redownloaded this app many times in the past. Particularly bc it looks so nice and at least feels like there’s a lot to do in the early stages. I don’t know if it’s in development or not, but apple watch compatibility/shared health data should absolutely happen. I bought a watch specifically for running bc I don’t want to bring my phone along. A smaller thing that mildly bugs me is the fact that I have to wait for the spaceship to come back to the planet that I’m viewing before I can interact with the planet. Not sure what the point of this feature was, maybe to increase in-app time? Idk, but it just feels clunky.

Two Years of Entertainment - 5 Stars. I have been playing Walkr for the last two years. As other reviewers have noted, there is something about this game that keeps me coming back every day. I don't play many games on my phone and when I do I get bored after a few days. But Walkr is different. It uses your phone's built in step tracker and adds energy to your pool to use in the game. This energy is a sort of currency, so you're rewarded for being more active. Such a simple idea but I can't think of another app like it. I love this app and will continue to play as long as I can. That being said I do feel it necessary to call for more updates from the developer--specifically more updates that add planets. I know there are many loyal users who are stuck and out of things to do in the app besides the daily chores. I truly enjoy this app and hope it gets the attention it deserves. While I have made purchases in the app I have not yet subscribed to the new monthly subscription service. I hope that the additional revenue can fund the much needed development required to keep older users engaged. edited for spelling.

Addictive and helps change behavior. I absolutely love this game and have not found anything remotely as engaging and with such long term potential as Walkr. I have been running less in recent months due to an injury and decided to re-download this game and was happy to see quite a few nice updates. I’ve been encouraged by this game to get up and move significantly than I do on my own, and I can attribute that behavior change to partially being motivated to earn energy to contribute to the social aspects of the game and accelerate game progress. The only thing that really disappoints me about this game is the lack of device integration. I just got a Fitbit to track my activity when I don’t have my phone on me (which are my most active times of the day usually!) and I feel kind of cheated out of my effort. Being able to use my Fitbit to gain energy would for sure keep me much more invested in this game.

Something new around every corner. The whole point of this game is to help you get out and walk more. I was skeptical that it wouldn’t accomplish this, because my assumption was that you got more fuel to power your little ship to find new planets. So what is your motivation, if not exploration? I’ll tell you! It’s pure, unadulterated greed for imaginary internet points. And that is the smartest thing they could have done. Yes, you do get to explore new planets. Yes, there are several ways to connect with friends and teams. Yes, you can beat little missions and get coins. BUT, the real power of this game is the epics. You get exactly the slice of pie you earn, which has made me get out of bed to get another hundred steps in to get to the next challenge. I’ve started walking in the morning just to be able to have a bit of a reserve throughout the day. So, overall, mission accomplished. Furthermore, finding little mental things, like IDing the right satellites and the interconnectivity with their other games, truly makes Walkr a thing of beauty. I unequivocally LOVE this app! My one and only gripe is that it won’t use the steps I get from my Fitbit. I have to have the phone’s accelerometer, pedometer. :( Still, this is a 5-Star app like Dennis.

Fine. A bit of a nice combo for fitness and game. The game is a bit child-like, and maybe just ok for an adult Looking for a fitness app. It is unfortunate that it won't link to fitness devices and requires up to use your phone. For example, my Fitbit logged >11,000 steps for me, but my phone only captured 1,200. Since this game is played in teams, that makes it really tough because others want people on their "bridge" who log more steps. Big downside... It is a cool concept and can be a good way to motivate yourself to get up off that chair, but some of the fun team aspects are lost due to the poor interface with other apps.

Absolutely obsessed. I have been playing this game every DAY for a year. At first, I was super confused as to what to do. I was going to take a star off for the lack of direction/help they give on certain things but I love this game too much to not give it 5 stars. I first downloaded it as a fun way to encourage myself to walk more and now I can’t stop lol. This game is far more intellectual than it may appear at first and it’s also very strategic. I think it’s bounds above other mindless games with no point or physical reward (walking imo seems to be a great physical reward) so I’m very very pleased with this game.

New edition new bug. To be honest I really like this, both my friends and I enjoy it, but after I bought the new product that can boost the planet to finish, it turns to a real annoyance. As soon as I success, the whole app stoped working and it just freezed there. Every time I opened it again, it jumped to the new product and freeze again. I restart my phone to see if it got better, and it seems to work, but it forgot I have bought it product. After I bought it for the second time to see if it's working, it freeze again. My friend, on the otherside, doesn't have this problem, even though we have the same iPhone 6. So if you haven't try the new product, don't, unless you don't mind experience this app annoyed you to death and waste 1 dollar for you.

Perfect if you’re just getting started and unexpectedly great for major surgery. Despite having step goals there isn’t as much pressure or reminders, this is great. I had a spine fusion last week, so I can’t go fast or far but it’s been helpful preop and recovery. The motivation to go out daily can’t be overstated either, it’s easy to get discouraged when you’re younger. Since the data is from activity it’s simpler to explain to medical professionals and focus on improving. Not requiring you to look at the screen is great if you’re a fall risk, and the app gives you something to look forward to breaks.

Best Movement Motivation Game. I’ve had Walkr for a while now and even when I’m not as active or ‘don’t feel like checking in’ with other games or apps, I still go into Walkr. Unlike other apps, especially game based motivational apps, Walkr really does let you move at your own pace. You don’t have to log a ton of steps or distance to be able to advance. It still keeps walking fresh in your mind though because you see how many steps you made when it rewards with that energy first thing. Also, if you like Walkr, or you’re looking for other motivation based games then definitely check out Plant Nanny as well! Same developers, gives me a fun incentive to track my water intake.

Great game!. ***update*** Taking the rating down because I tried to do the special fairytale epic, and accidentally forgot to switch the invite back to private before launching, and I’m a little mad that since the epic takes so long to finish (not something that I could control) that we didn’t end up getting the blueprint for the fairytale planet. If you’re going to do specials like this, you should at least let the people that started it on time get the reward. You know...given that the particular epic you had us do takes an excessive amount of resources and energy 😡 The only reasons I'm giving 3 stars are basically the same reasons everyone else has given. Please, please make it to where I can sync my Fitbit to accurately record my steps/activity as I (like most people) don't always carry my phone everywhere with me! The second reason is that I do think it takes far too long to get to new planets, which, in turn makes it harder to find resources to do missions that are required to get into the higher level Epic adventures.

Real cute. I love the idea of the planets. I’m not happy that my watch steps don’t count. I am a hairstylist. I walk and move all day long but am not allowed to have my phone on me to count the steps. Would love to see this fixed. Either by syncing with the watch or allowing me to add my watch steps. I know you mentioned you don’t want people cheating. Check the internet cause they are sitting and bouncing the phone or making gadgets to move the phone to add up steps. If they don’t want to be honest that’s there problem and you’re making it my problem. Please find a way to fix this. Pretty please!!!

Fun Once You Figure It Out!. There is a steep learning curve at the beginning, but once you get it, it is a fun little game to encourage you to walk more. There are cute little details, some entertaining side games and a nice social aspect once you make some Walkr buddies. You can interact with folks through the lab you join and people all over the world play. So, in my lab, there are players from Thailand, China, the US and Australia. I do wish it would connect to my Fitbit as I don't always carry my phone (which is how it measures your steps.) I'd love to be able to earn those Fitbit steps in the game! Otherwise, I love it!

Good concept but!. I love the concept of this game, however it’s very frustrating if you actually have a Fitbit and no way to sync it with the game. The phone’s pedometer is nowhere near as accurate, and not only that but I’m sure there are many people who don’t take their phones literally every time they walk around. Many times I leave my phone put away while I am up and about. My Fitbit stays on all day, logging several thousand more steps than my phone. Even when I take my phone with me on long walks it only logs about 75% of my steps compared to the Fitbit. So I miss out on all that energy I could be using in this game. I would also like to have more use for the energy I do earn. You can use it to boost production but not to upgrade or explore more planets. So it’s not as useful as it sounds. It would be more motivating if our steps directly helped discover and upgrade planets instead of having to use it to get coins faster to then purchase upgrades with, as you can generate coins without doing anything at all as long as you come back to collect them. That’s not as motivating as if you *had* to expend energy to discover new planets. Overall it’s a cute little game and a great concept but not as helpful/motivating as it could be.

4 years of playing, still love this game!. Walkr is a 2 in 1 gaming experience. It’s a great motivator to be more active, as it uses your steps to let you donate to epics or donations to other members to upgrade their planets. There’s plenty of incentives to play the game, like upgrading your ship to carry more energy or food, and earning more planets so you can play more epics where you earn coins and cubes based on your contribution to the group. I recommend this game to anyone who has an active lifestyle or is working to become more active and need some extra motivation!

Pretty good. **Walkr my app with 60 planets has been crashing if I try to scroll through every planet for feeding or happy time bonuses** Review: I was looking for a game that would encourage me to walk more, and I liked the sound of this one and never looked back. Have been playing for five months and have explored almost half the planets. Each planet explored takes a little longer than before; it takes five days now. Energy/steps is not the only currency in the game, so you are not penalized for not walking as much. More energy gives you a boost for coins or food or time depending on how you use it. There is also group missions to earn special planets or cubes which keep you engaged in addition to feeding planets. There are daily gifts, and daily ads now which eventually get you gifts. There’s more too. If you want details during gameplay, look at the FourDesire FAQ/help for general questions, and look at walkr wiki for more complete and up to date lists. There’s also a sub reddit that has a lot of fan Q&A, and the walkr Facebook page describes major updates.

Incredibly Engaging Fun!. Let me just say, I’m 52 years old and started using this app about a year and half ago. I am not a big app or social media person, but this game is so fun, so fascinating, and so engaging, that I upgraded to an iPhone that would work with the activity tracker in the app! Then I just learned as I went along (the FAQs are really helpful!) and now have lab partners I communicate with regularly. It’s just an experience you have to delve into to understand. The graphics are brilliant...what else can I say? Oh, and boy, does it motivate me to MOVE to create energy for myself AND my lab friends! Give it a try!

Cute and fun but no Apple Watch steps?. I adore this app! It’s better than Pokémon go and Jurassic park live! It’s so cute and engaging it makes you WANT to go walking... I may not be able to walk the 10k steps yet, but it’s nice it’s fun! Even the ads to get free cubes is great! Thanks for such a great game! HOWEVER: It’d be nice if this counted the steps of APPLE WATCH or FITBIT... it’s hard to remember to carry my phone every time I walk around, or just go to the bathroom. I’m kinda disappointed, but it doesn’t take away from the game much. If y’all could get it connected to count the Apple Watch steps then I will make it a 5/5 star rating!!! Please?!

Love this game. Everything about this is super cute. There are barely any ads (they pop up once in the beginning when you open the app) and the graphics are literally adorable. You get energy for walking and it encourages you to exercise more and be more active even for the laziest people like myself. I literally play this game because I want to unlock all the adorable planets and hear their stories and find the cool stuff that comes with them when you level them up. I’ve had this app for a year and I never get tired of it.

Brilliant mechanics, inspirational resource collection game. I’ve been playing Walkr nonstop since July 2017, and I have logged in every single day to play it. I’m an active person, so getting fit wasn’t the motivator for me. I got ahead quite easily in the early stages of the game by enjoying my normal lifestyle. The game is family-friendly and takes a simple concept to new depths. The premise of the game established early on is that, in the dreams of this young child, he and his dog explore the universe with a spaceship powered by a treadmill. That’s the only plot device. It’s not elaborated on much and that’s fine; it’s a nice touch for a Fitness-oriented app. The game works as your typical resource-collection game, however, energy (gained from walking) is used to expedite the processes, advance in Epics (social missions where you’re matchmade with multiple players) and, when eligible, assist Lab (in-game guilds) members with free upgrades to their planets to harvest more resources. The grind is endless, but such is Fitness in general. The pride I can show from being a long-term veteran of Walkr was surprisingly awesome and still is (shoutout to my fellow Captains). There is still strategy in spending resources wisely, and as such I’m engaged constantly. 5 Stars. 10/10. Would (and have) recommend to anyone.

Genius. I’ve used Walkr for a few years now. Something about the app still keeps me checking it every single day. They’ve made it so that feeling of accomplishment when I hit 10k steps never gets old. They’ve also continually added updates—the pedometer function works great, every now and then we’ll get new adorable planets, and they’ve added interesting activities like epics and labs. The little additions that make you feel heard and show you that they keep on trying :) I love the app and I really don’t have any complaints, BUT if I could request one thing, I would absolutely advocate for fitbit compatibility...! :D (Hi! I know you guys take our reviews pretty seriously! Pretty please??) This has seriously been the only reason I have not gotten a fitbit and for a half second even considered getting an Apple watch. I love the fitbit features more though and am really hoping fitbit compatibility will be incorporated soon! Until then, here’s to holding my phone while walking and running :) Please and thanks!!

Needs improvement. I have had this on my phone for months & I was really enjoying it but the latest update caused it to continuously freeze whenever I opened the app and from the start I’ve been unable to connect my in game account to any external accounts. I had to reset my phone recently & after reinstalling this app I lost everything. I had over 3 million in game coins & 40+ planets but now I have to start from scratch. I’ve tried to recover my account via Apple but it says that my email is linked to a different users account & fb & google both tell me there’s no “legacy account data” when I try to select either account. I was in the middle of an epics quest too and now I have no way to communicate with my former teammates to tell them I lost my account.

So useful and fun!. I love this app because it really does encourage me to walk! I don’t know what it is about keeping those planets fed and that galaxy growing that’s super incentivizing, but it works! I like the social aspect of it as well, helping people out through labs and getting free energy from your bridge mates is a huge plus. And the epics make it so that it’s not hard to attain the spaceship of your dreams—if you just keep at it long enough, that is. Overall it’s a great game and I can’t really think of anything that might make it better, but hopefully the developers can surprise us!

Questionable App. While this app is cute and exploring new planets is fun, I have some concerns about it. One is that it is supposed to promote exercise but doesn’t. No exercise is really needed for the app to work. My kids use it while sitting. It doesn’t count walking steps accurately and the steps produce energy that can be a boost in the game but are not essential. Also, it would be nice for it to log steps from using a treadmill but does not. More concerning are the ads. They started off innocently with some ads for games and shopping stores but have begun to deteriorate alarmingly. First there was a fashion app ad that starts off with models without clothes though only vague body parts shown. Now there is an ad for a dating service that is VERY suggestive of intimate relations with scantily clad figures. Is this move toward pornographic ads an attempt to force a purchase of the no adds option? None of our other apps have shown these types of ads. Major concern is these are NOT appropriate ads for children!

So fun it will make you addicted. Hey it’s me Eva I write reviews on App Store and a lot of people listen to them so listen up to this one this one will keep you playing for days in a row it’s so fun you get to see new planets that aren’t real but the amazing to look at because they’re so cool now The bad part is the bad part some people are just busy or they forget to check up on the planets but they can’t die they also have another app called Plant Nanny it’s great you get to see plants that don’t really exist but the really cute and stuff so I suggest that up to you and this app get it

I truly love this game.. I've been playing walkr for 4 years now, and I still love it dearly. I open it almost every day. It is so soft, calming, and sweet. You're even rewarded for your daily steps! I genuinely enjoy seeing each new planet I discover, completing the little missions, and seeing the new satilites and creatures. Walkr feels like sinking my brain into memory foam during a stressful day. I rarely play for more than 5-10 minutes at a time, but the little break from my work is lovely. It is a little frustrating that the planets take -so- long to discover (2.5-3 days), but in a way it makes it more rewarding when it finally is ready. I am so glad Walkr exists.

Great walking app/game!. I found Walkr through Plant Nanny (same company) and figured I'd give it a try. I'm pleasantly surprised! It's an engaging game, and the fact it uses the iPhone's built-in pedometer is an added bonus. The more you walk, the more you can do in the game, so it really is good motivation! I ended up dropping Plant Nanny after a few weeks but I’ve used Walkr pretty much every day for more than two years. It took that long for me to discover all the planets, and the newer Lab feature makes it easy to interact with more Walkrs around the world!

An Interesting Game. The game itself has a very steep learning curve at the beginning, which I would say is due to no advanced system to guide the player. I only learned leveling was even a thing when I reached my DFR limit. It's a fun game to pick up at the end of the day so that you can quicken your progress with the in-game step counter, which functions as a sort of alternative to the game's premium currency, cubes. The game itself is very cute and I would recommend picking it up. The only thing that I've found negative so far is it's lack of guide, which isn't very prominent. (I'll return to this review later)

Seems cool. I’ve only had this app for a week, and I do find myself checking back in with it pretty often and it’s amusing. It’s not really deep but it does kind of make me wanna get some more steps in to make some processes faster. I kind of wish more things in the game relied on your steps, or that your steps (“energy” production) had more application in the game — just so it motivated me MORE to get to my 10,000 steps each day. At this time I’m finding that I can get along pretty easily in the game without any added walking. Oh, and yes I didn’t even realize the steps are only tracked through the phone and not from my Apple Watch, but I saw other people point that out in reviews and I agree!! Collecting step data from the Health Kit should be standard.

Where’s the support?. The game is great. I’m having fun, I keep coming back, etc. When I last opened it, I got a little popup telling me about the anniversary event, which is great! But I noticed some problem with the coding of the popup (it looks like a problem within the HTML; perhaps a bracket didn’t get closed) and I have no way of reporting it. There’s no direct support through the app, just FAQ. The support link on the app store here just leads to their website, not an email or anything actually helpful. Thankfully this time it was more of a temporary cosmetic issue, but I’d hate to imagine what would happen if I had something actually wrong with the game.

If you get this game, you’re in for the long run. Honestly, I’m gonna keep this short. This game is an extremely fun game to explore. Discovering a new planet and trying to upgrade hen to their final level is rewarding and fun, but it takes a very long time. It can take a week to just discover a new planet (when you’re later in the game), and getting the money to upgrade one would take a while too. This is in no way a negative, it’s just not for everyone. If you want a fast paced game this isn’t it, but if you want a game you can invest yourself in, this may be it. The only negatives I have is that I think there are some very simple and easy fixes that could be done to make very tedious tasks simpler, such as having a collect all money button instead of having to swipe through all your planets and collecting the money manually. With very simple fixes like the one above I would consider this a perfect game for what it’s trying to achieve

New favorite app. I got the Walkr app because of the plant nanny app that has offers that unlock if you download the app and continue discovering more planets. I didn’t think it would stick, but I keep coming back to the app every day to check up on my progress and to collect coins! It’s not hard to maintain your progress on the app since it doesn't require much effort really. It’s an easy app to use and it makes it fun to unlock more planets just by my phone tracking my steps and giving me coins! I really like this app! Keep up the good work!

Years of fun. I have been playing Walkr for quite a few years now and I really enjoy it. I like that it takes the amount of time to play that I want to put into it. If I just gave a couple of minutes I can do a couple of my daily activities in the app but if I want to play for a longer time I can stay busy with rearranging my satellites and spaceships to optimize my settings. It’s very versatile and encourages me to get up and exercise. The one thing that would improve my experience would be the ability to sync to my Fitbit.

Neat but confusing. It is very cute and nicely done, though at first it is a bit confusing and overwhelming since it keeps directing you left and right constantly for the first few minutes. Though the most confusing part for me was that it doesn’t seem to count your steps nor does it mention how it tracks your activity and as such I haven’t been able to gain any energy and have nearly none due to it pressing me to use it to speed stuff up at the beginning. It also is a bit over reactive when trying to swipe from one planet to the next and can be confusing in that to exit the menu so as to return to the main screen you have to press on the void border rather than a simple exit button in a corner. Otherwise the graphics are cute and once it slows down it begins to be easier to understand. Being a program design student, I’m currently going through user interface design, and found it rather unintuitive but too instruction heavy.

Needs Wearable Technology syncing!!!!!. I have had this app for over three years. I enjoy so many aspects of this app. Unfortunately this app has one MASSIVE FLAW... it doesn’t support participants who are not tethered to their phones. I don’t take my phone with me everywhere. Most of my clothing for work and my home loungewear do not have pockets. Practically all of my running tights are without pockets. My Apple Watch is what logs all of my runs and daily activity, which is what I need for my Epics. For an app designed towards being active, utilizing the info from wearable technology should be at the foundation of its design. Without it, this app is increasingly becoming antiquated, therefore deserving no more than 1 Star. Remedying this major shortcoming would make it an app worthwhile of 5 stars. Please fix this.

Very cute game, needs to make “promotions” less annoying. I’ve been playing two weeks and I love the cute planets. I absolutely love that there’s an option to make a one-time, $1.99 purchase to ditch involuntary ads! Huge complaint though on the current BOGO promotion. I got the notice when it started and actually decided to go for it. But instead of being satisfied, the app has popped up with a notice trying to get me to buy.... every time I open the app. Not just daily, not just every time the app has to restart itself, but literally every time my phone opens to the app. It is so tedious and apparently it is going to be happening for at least three more days. This pushiness definitely makes me feel less inclined to support the app financially in the future, and sadly makes me wonder if I’ll be keeping this app around long term!

Bleah.. Way too many ads, and didn’t see a lot behind it.

too many ads but lovely APP. It's a good game with much fun. But the ads r annoying...

Awesome, but needs some improvement. Walkr is a really fun way to motivate yourself to get moving everyday. I’ve been playing for almost 3 months and have noted a few things that need improvement: - apple watch compatibility: I think it would be great if the steps gained on your apple watch can be transferred straight to the app; this isn’t too big of a problem if you have your phone with you while wearing the apple watch, but when you have the cellular version and decide to take the watch only for a run, the steps don’t count towards walkr... - wait times: I’m up to my 52nd planet now and it takes almost 4 days to finish construction... I think it would be beneficial to either reduce the wait times or make it easier to reduce wait times without having to pay. Overall, great job on the game! It’s the only game that I’ve been checking everyday for the past 3 months.

Tech support needs to lift. Fun game! But am REALLY disappointed with their tech help. Logged tickets get closed before resolved & automatic replies & with long delays in between messages from them.

Educational and entertaining game. Tricks me into exercising

Motivation of everyday walking outside. Just Love it! And regret for not knowing this earlier!

Okay. Love the art style and concept but... I can’t seem to get it to record my walking? And the random ads that pop up without warning are quite annoying

Good game but I'll give a low rate for the annoying ads.. The ads will pop out every time when I launch the app, and i accidentally click that every single time to give me a new page that I have to close it.

Ads r my new favourite thing. Ads r my new favourite thing

Great encouragement to go for a walk. Never walked so much before

oops. Can’t load the game in a sudden. Hope the bug can be fixed soon.

Awesome. It got me walking

Love this game. Love it!i like how it encourages users to walk make in earning emerge points!

Really cool. This actually makes me get out and walk, great way to encourage other people as well.

BALLSAQ lab is recruiting. Purged inactive regularly, lab exists for many years and still going, all welcome

good. Can't stop playing this

Well intentioned, but ultimately sexist Mother’s Day tribute. I’ve been playing this game for a while and really been enjoying it, but the addition of a “Housework Factory” planet for Mother’s Day was very disappointing.

Wonderful game!!!. This game is an absolute exercise motivator. One thing that can be improved is, many feature in the game don’t have a description so it can be struggled sometimes.

Awesome App. Highly recommended!!

7/10. Everything was fine works well but ads do get annoying

Good Motivation. It’s so cute it makes me want to walk just for more energy! The premise is great, it’s easy to use and to get the hang of.

Needs Apple Watch. Needs to be able to count steps from Applewatch by connecting with a Health App.

Nice game but too many ad annoying. Like the game and enjoy it very much but the ad just keep popping out so annoying

Feedback. Good game with a special health design.

Love it!. Little ads are annoying but understandable, Wish I could put the planets in the order I want and put the food production in a whole other area. Extremely addictive game!

fun. it is really fun health game. I have been a while didnt play mobile game. But this one can literally encourage you to excise.

Ok. The apps is great and creative, but the ads is annoying.

Incredible app. Motivates you to do exercise while having a fun game to play while your not. Recommend to everyone

I hope it also works with apple watch. I really enjoy this app a lot and is now playing with hubby. I thought having an apple watch would help but sadly it doesn’t work with apple watch. I hope the developers could work on getting steps data from smart watches soon.

So creative!. Really addictive game, a really creative way to keep track of how many steps I take each day, and the game helps motivate more excercise.

Lovely game. Don't cost time to focus on level and food.

Good game but too many ads. Show ads every time I open the app..,.

Needs Fitbit compatibility. This game is great and all but the phones pedometer isn’t always accurate when counting steps. If this app could sync with the Fitbit app it would be so much better. In conclusion this game is very well polished and entertaining.

Cute, relaxing, pushes exercise. The game and the music puts a smile on my face! When i activated it somehow my past steps weren’t inputted, but the game really surprised me, you not only see he planets, you also feed the people and get income from them! It’s more fun than the average fitness app, kinda like pokemon go, but you can just walk around in circles The game has many ads, but i can endure it because it’s free and high quality... if you like his maybe you’ll like plant nanny by same dev Also can we ever visit the surface of the planets? I want to meet the aliens 😂 Ah also the daily goal is 10k steps... idk how to change it lol i’ve never reached 10k/day in my life but can manage 3k...

I love cats. Great game, keeps you motivated to walk. Doesn’t really explain how to play but it is addictive. 👏🏼👏🏼

nice game. Ask you to walk much everyday, nice for your health

Great but.... Played for a year and it was great, stopped for two years but playing again- Makes you want to go out and exercise which is good. Overall game is good but imo it’s too long to wait for a planet in late game - 22 days?

Great game. I often play after my morning walk and enjoy reading the little messages from the planet inhabitants, they can be quite funny

Great but needs personalised step goal. Really great app in so many ways but need to be able to set own step goal so those with disabilities or those undergoing rehab from illness can use it too. Current goal of 10,000 steps per day far too high for these groups. Please allow user to set own daily step goal and then they can increase goal by 10-20% each week. Could be so much better with this one easy change.

top game. highly recommended

Good but would be better with Apple Watch sync. This app is such a fun reward for walking and staying fit but I WISH the creators would make it sync to Apple Watch! I don’t carry my phone around with me all the time whereas I ALWAYS wear my watch. Please, please, please update the app to sync to Apple Watch.

Movement tracker?. I’m a high school student and I have my phone on me everyday, I walk to school, at school and home but even with the movement tracker on it’s not picking it up but other than that I love the game tho it’s not really explained how to play it’s fun and addictive

4⭐️. Actually addictive...annoying that ads do pop up every time you open the app, even if it’s a minute later and can play several adds in a row as well.

Motivational. Motivates me to walk more. It’s fun. I recommend it.

Great motivator. Super cute game that encourages you to walk to earn energies

Good game. so addictive

fun and creative. creative way of getting you to walk more

Very cute. Love the game and the graphics

Great app for free. Had this app for years now and have played it almost every single day. Cute art, reasonable times to unlock things and great walking app. Only issue is how expensive in-app purchases are.

Remember me. This game brought me and two of my high school besties back together.... after 20 years!

Can’t play anymore. I just update to version 6.3.0 and now the game crash every time I try to play it.

Good game. Easy to play, can be as competitive as you want.

Amazing, Cute, awesome, etc. Walkr has to be THE most adorable planet game there is! If you're like me, and you like 'collecting' things, and adorable graphics, I definitely reccommend this game-! It deserved it's award, to be honest! I don't usually write reviews unless the app is super bad or super good, and this is one of those super good apps!

Opinion. I first never understood how the game was a walking game because it never counted my step but I deleted and brought back the app and it worked. One problem is that you don’t workout with your phone in your pocket so your missing thousands of steps.

Love it. So fun!

One of the only two games I have on my phone. I like how this game doesn’t take over too much of your time.

Unique & Fun!. This app is so creative. There is always something more to look at because it is so detailed. Every little alien on every little planet. So fun! It genuinely does make me want to walk more. :) There is a Walkr Wiki that helps a lot!!

Good but has problems. It's fun to collect planets but it's impossible to get support if something goes wrong. The chat support just does not reply.

AMAZING. But please make it compatible to apple watch or any smart watch too

Good but missing Apple Watch data. Really need an update to give the choice to sync Apple Watch data instead of phone. I don't carry my phone around with me all the time, I'm just not that kind of person, please please please add Apple Watch support!

Cute app, broken promises. I really do enjoy this app. The concept is simple but there is enough game element to keep it fun. The only reason I don’t give it better stars is they claim it supports Apple Watch. It doesn’t. They have been promising that Apple Watch will work “soon” for over two years(updates a year later. One more year gone by one more star lost). Most of my steps are counted on my watch, yet I can’t use them.

Fun but not link to Apple Watch. The game is fun and encourage players to walk to gain energy. It will be better if it can link the steps with Apple Watch or Fitbit so steps are still counted when the phone is not on the person.

Back to game after changing new phone. Updated the game and after sign in to my account, all my planet is gone.

bzbs. bshs

It’s fun but…. why no apple watch comparability? really missing a huge selling point for the game.

Fun. I enjoy collecting the planets more then checking my steps. I do find the prices for the extras to be crazy expensive…

Fun game!. This is a fun game once you start to understand it. The tutorial isn’t great and the game is complex so I had to spend a lot of time poking around to figure it out. Good motivation to walk!

Fun and motivating. This game is really cute with all the different planets and space ships. I always liked space and because it tracks steps it motivates me yo be more active and healthy. Only issue is it crashes every now and then but thats because older phone but still fun.

Fun! Needs a bit more customization imo. The app is great! It’s cute and all, but I’d love to be able to personalize my goal, 10k steps is just unrealistic to me. Smart watch integration would be lovely too! Other than that, the app is amazing at keeping track of your steps :)

Walkr. I wish it connected with apple watch to track steps more accurately and I am a little distraught that it takes so long to enjoy the game, I am up to waiting 3 days to find more planets

Cool. The art is beautiful. But the tutorial is woefully lacking.

Fun and good for you!. It’s been a great time

ADS. The ads are getting OUT of control loooong. Really losing interest in opening this app.

Just updated and it crashes immediately upon opening. Had to delete and re-install. Otherwise a great game.

Crazy Addictive. Absolutely love the game. We’ve been playing it for over 2 years now. Simple and easy way to reward yourself for steps.

It's cool. Its fun stuff

Fun and addictive way to track steps!. Great app for keeping track of your steps. Very easy to use and fun app experience. Would be great if it could connect to the Health app or Fitbit for a more accurate tracking of steps.

Ads make it unusable. Love the idea, but it’s become so riddled with ads that it totally interferes with usability. I’m spending money on data that is all ads. Finally gave up and deleted.

Good. Good

Awesome. My favourite, cutest little game. I’ve had it for years and still haven’t gotten half the planets there are. Super exciting to explore new planets and to receive bonuses form walking which is a good motivator. Definitely would recommend. :)

Apple Watch steps don’t count?. Awwww! Was so disappointed to find out that there was no option to use my step count from my Apple Watch steps! I rarely bring all kinds of stuff when I go for walks or walk my dog, and that includes my phone. Also don’t just walk around holding it either, so I’m hardly generating any steps! Guess this game is only really worth it for people who are inseparable from their phones.

You need a manual for this game. So complicated... confusing... no idea how u get to another planet... u press boost then i dont get it... too complicated for a simple walking game. Deleted

Great app!!. Super fun I love it!!

Cute, a fun adaptation for step counting. Kinda addictive!. Fun to have something to play with the family! We go out for walks and trade energy. A fun thing to do!

Fun App. Love how they’ve gamefied healthy habits. Love it! I would give 5 starts but it won’t read my steps from my Apple Watch.

Very cool game !!. Great game! Keeps me busy.

Fun but the ads are a killer. They seem to have increased ads to the point where it’s barely worth opening the app to play. Watching ads for coins and cubes doesn’t seem to work well anymore.

There’s a lot to it. It’s pretty confusing for a pedometer app but it makes me excited to walk

Great. Actually recommend

very unclear but pretty. not really sure yet tbh

Was amazing. Until now when it Demands I sign in but I can’t. Now the most useless app

good. good

Not Apple Watch Compatible. It needs to be Apple Watch compatible or sync to health

Awesome. Love how many planets there are and all so unique, I would really like if it would be able to connect to fitbit or Apple Watch for steps because you can’t always have your phone on you or it doesn’t record your steps as well as the smart watches.

nice. nice

廣告多到不可思議. 以前每次打開都有廣告很煩人,現在越更新廣告越多、而且都是影片版的廣告!三不五時就會跳出來,超級惱人!再加上探索星球時間過長,實在越來越不想玩了...

Walkr. Makes you walk more !

Ok. Fun game

Doggii. Sorry it won’t let leave a message on the doggii page at the App Store. I can see it but it says the developer need to fix something on the iOS version I have. I have a iPhone Xs max software version 14.4 (18D52). All the iPhone users that want to get your app can’t get it. Please fix the problem. Thank you

Fun game!. This is a fun game that uses your step count as a means of generating energy in the game that you use to travel to planets and harvest their output. Lots of elements unrelated to that as well, overall a fun universe to discover!

Great app unique motivation to exercise well done. I love this app first off it’s a awkward to motivate someone to walk and has such great features I have a question I joined an epic all the other ones I did were great but have a captain that kicks every one out after they donate what prevents me from losing out on the quest when I have been top members that have donated seems a little unfair need to have a protocol to stop this or to at least refund my efforts but otherwise love this app

Cute! But requires fusion with phone. Above the lowest possible stars because this is truly one of the most stunning visual apps I’ve ever seen. It didn’t last long, however, because after years it’s still impossible to sync with a smart wrist device. DONT invest in sync solver for this, as it will still only pull data recorded by your phone even if your Fitbit or Apple watch has successfully synced with Apple health (trust me, I tried). Refusal to implement this feature renders this adorable and fantastic idea of an app to be an obsolete battery drain.

Excellent but doesn’t pull data from smart watch. Just downloaded this a few days ago and I love it so far. It’s really fun, motivating to talk a few extra laps around the office or a walk around the neighborhood after dinner. The music is fun and catchy, and the detailed planets and life forms you can discover is cool too. The huge problem is that you have to have your phone on you. I got a smart watch specifically so I wouldn’t need my phone on my person at all times, so this is almost a deal breaker. The game is essentially registered a fraction of my daily activity. If this can be fixed, it’s a 5 star app for sure.

love it but i have a few suggestions!!. i used it for so long!! have been using it for years but i just got a new phone and transferred all my storage as you do when you get a new device, only to find that all my walkr data has disappeared!! i’m pretty saddened but i really only got the game to make a habit out of walking regularly and i’ve done that so i’m satisfied with the results! however.. i think it would be great if the developers came up with some sort of food game? like reminders for people with eating disorders to remind them to eat in a way that’s fun. i don’t have plant nanny but i know it helps one of my friends stay hydrated so i think it’d be a great idea to make a game that has the same vibe but for food !! like a meal a day is a huge thing for me nowadays but whenever it happens i feel like there’s no reward? no advantage to it so i bump into my usual schedule of not eating full meals.. anyway just an idea to look into.. hope someone makes use of it :)

Cute, simple, and effective. I love this developer’s games and this one is no different! I like that you can just wait for stuff to unlock, but that walking lets you boost it. So many resource style games with time gates make boosts feel like something you have to pay for. But this game, it’s just part of walking! It actually makes me want to walk, so that I can do the boost that I don’t normally get to do on other games!

Great for getting out doors. I find it hard sometimes to get myself outside and walking around this game has definitely helped get me going around and having fun exploring an alternative universe. In addition it keeps better track while your phone is in your pocket or simply not in your hands so it’s a great way to get active and separate yourself from your phone.

Please update so we can use Apple Watch counting steps. I love this app so much, I love the constant updates. The creativity in the planets amazes me and I love the boost feature. However, it would have been rated a 5 star if there was a way to use my Apple Watch counting steps. I work from home so it’s hard for me to get much energy on most days. When I’m out and about I get energy but it would be nice if It would count my steps from Apple Watch. Please add this feature!

Easily 5* … once ads are fixed. 3 days now, fully updated app on iOS, and 90% of the daily ads don’t reward food or gems. Watch entire ad, press x, but no food or gems..no +1 toward unlocking the next satellite..nothing. Watched at least 40 ads trying to get them to work but no luck. Force closed…deleted and reinstalled app…still 90% of daily ads don’t work. PLEASE FIX - and when you do I’ll absolutely change rating to 5*

Very enjoyable and creative.. I love this game. I honestly don’t know why I downloaded it but it was just on my phone one day. And when I started playing i didn’t really understand but I can’t keep myself from playing. I love how you have to walk in order to gain energy and how you can have a team that everyone helps each other. Well thought out and put together. I haven't had any real issues with anything as far as glitches and such. So much fun!

Surprisingly Fun!. I found this app through its sister app, Plant Nanny. At first I thought it seemed too complicated to comfortably get into. It only took ten minutes to figure out what was going on, and now that I do know what's up, I'm addicted! I use a Fitbit so I'm already motivated to walk, but this makes me want to get out there even more. The design, both visually and audibly, is gorgeous and super pleasing. I see myself continuing to use this app for a long time.

Great app but a few bugs. This is a really fun app and it encourages me to keep moving. Most of the ships are not helpful to store energy and food. I also had the misfortune of being double charged when purchasing the 3600 cubes and was unable to get a refund. I think there is a problem with the game recording your steps and applying it to the energy storage. Many times I have to close out of the app and reload it so it updates my steps and energy.

Fun and easy. I play a lot of games, but this is only one that I’ve kept on my phone for the past 4+ years. There’s no real competition, no pay to win, you can access and play offline, and you don’t feel obligated to log in and do dailies/grind. I log in a few times a day, spend a few minutes each time collecting, upgrading, or contributing to an epic and that’s it. It keeps track of your steps even if you don’t log in for a few days.

I keep returning. I took a break from it and I am so happy to return!! The friends and community is very supportive, this is the dose of positivity I look forward to every day. I’ve plays for about 2 years and I look forward to the new planets. The personality in citizens is so adorable. I super hope this becomes supportive with Apple Watch ⌚️. I follow Walker’s Facebook and I happened to participate in a fun event and got a lovely postcard! Beautiful art 🖼️

Walkr. I love the idea and the whimsical style. I’m having fun so far, But the point of these types of games is to encourage people to exercise more and I am not feeling motivated by the game to walk more. At this point it just feels like a idle game. I suggest you make the energy log the first page a player sees each time they open the app. And add some rewards for exercise achievements such as walking at least 5000 steps 7 days in a row. Also, bug report, the game crashes when I click FAQ/ support.

Buggy and Needs Improvements. Good app with great graphics. The concept is really nice but I wish that there’s an option to communicate with your bridgemates. Also, it’s been more than 4 yrs and this app still can’t get data from apple watch, fitbit or other wearable ergometers? I don’t carry my phone in my pocket as much as possible and running with a phone messes up with your gait so you probably end up with bad form. But at least we have 100 planets and new epics... Would’ve given this app 5 stars if those items and bugs get fixed. Some bug after the update caused the app to not log steps.

Addicting. When I first got this app it was so confusing. After awhile, I got the hang of it and now it's a part of my everyday routine. I check it several times a day for my lab and if I'm doing an epic. I just hate that the more planets you get the longer it takes before they're ready. I think I'm at a little over 6 days right now. I'm about to explore for a new one and it'll be about 6 days and 20min or so until I get to see it.

Wish they’d offer asteroids afterwards. I missed out on some asteroid belts, and they don’t offer them outside of the month they are released. This is really a bummer for completionists like me, and it doesn’t make much sense since they charge for the asteroids. It would be nice if they’d continue offering old asteroid belts. My enjoyment of the app has declined because I can’t access these previous belts. It would be very disappointing to be a new user, too.

Phenomenal; few flaws. This game is so amazing! I absolutely love it, except there are a few flaws (PLEASE DON’T LET THIS DETER YOU FROM THIS GAME! IT IS TOO AMAZING TO NOT GET!!!). 1. It is kinda annoying that the energy bar thing only goes to 10,000 I would prefer if maybe there was some sort of upgrade maybe because if I get more than 10,000 the energy ‘disappears’ and I loose it. 2. The “message” feature is personally annoying for me, I would enjoy if maybe there was a mute button of sorts.... Overall this game is one of my favorites, just a little room for improvement!

Minuscule Glitch in an Otherwise Stellar Game. Been playing over a year. Awesome game... until yesterday. I chose to be part of a Sealed Monster challenge... and horribly there’s a glitch that sets your daily reward back at day 1. I was at 400- something! So this is heartbreaking. Also, today I noticed it first said day 2 when launching the app, but the second time going into it, it said day 1 again. Every launch yesterday was the same glitch: it kept saying day 1. Please try to resolve this!!

Addicted!. I love this game, and I am addicted. I also appreciate the option to remove ads for $1.99. I will pay that gladly! There are just a few suggestions I have for improvement: 1) Make the "energy" gained from walking a bigger part of the game. 2) Provide tutorials for those of us who don't want to have to click around for hours to figure stuff out. 3) Provide more interaction with the planets.

Super addictive.. This game is incredibly addictive and fun. I have had this game for almost a year now and I still check it multiple times a day. They only thing that I would change if I could would for it to track steps via apple watch. I work in a place where my phone can’t be on my person which makes getting steps a bit more challenging. Hopefully they will make this available soon! Super great game.

Great Game! Also Advertisements!. The game is very enjoyable and is a great way to start walking! I really love the concept of the planets. With this app, i’ve been motivated to walk more. The only thing that bothers me are the advertisements. I mean, if there were a few short ones I would be totally fine with it. But, every few minutes an advertisement pops up and I can’t exit out of it until it finished. So, I end up waiting 40 seconds for an advertisement. It’s gotten pretty annoying since I play it everyday. When I open the app, a 40 second advertisement greets me.

Good app. I got this app after downloading Plant Nanny to unlock some of the pot designs, but I kept it because it’s such a cute little app that’s good at motivating me to get out and walk more. My only complaint is the overwhelming number of ads that have started popping up lately. When I first downloaded the app, I would only get ads occasionally, which was fine, but now every single time I open up the app I have to sit through the same 30 second ad, which freezes and forces me to restart the app half the time.

Awesome game. I really love this game so far. I was getting annoyed by the ads, but then realized I could opt out by paying $2! Definitely worth it! This game is colorful and fun and I love the premise. My one HUGE complaint is that it won’t count my Apple watch steps, only my actual phone steps. So I am getting very little “energy” despite walking over 8K steps every day. Please fix this! I would have given 5 stars if this was not a problem. (I will change my rating if this gets fixed!)

An experiment in walking. This used to be my everyday app for checking how active I was in a day. Whether I was working out or stuck at the office I would constantly check on my planets making sure that they were fed and happy. Somewhere along the way it just lost all of its pizazz. Not sure if it’s the constant stream of ads or the fact that there’s a steep incline in costs for activities (upgrading planets, exploring, upgrading your ships) vs how quickly you actually accumulate said gold (not fast). It used to be a lot more fun.

Fun, but provides no real incentive to exercise. I like this game. Unfortunately, that has proved to be more of a negative than a positive, since I spent a lot more time playing it than actually exercising. Exercise lets you boost things, but after the first few planets you can’t possibly exercise enough to make a real difference and I’m just not that impressed by it taking 20 hours instead of 21 to get to a new planet. I’d love it if you could buy things with energy, like cubes or ships, or if it were actually necessary to get to other planets. As it is, I’m not sure how long I’ll keep playing. It’s proving distracting and not achieving its purpose.

Updated Review. Old review: “This is a fun little walking space game. Cute graphics and simple design.” Five stars Updated review: I used to love this app. But now every time I open it I can’t even play the game, I have to wait while a ridiculous ad plays that also has forced interaction. So every time I want to play this game and check on how much I’ve walked I have to play some stupid ad just to get through it. I would gladly buy this app so that I could have it ad free again, but they don’t give you that option. At least other apps give you the option to buy it so that you don’t have to sit through the intolerable ads. This made what was a fun game that I played three times a day, into something I barely check anymore and will delete.

Great game!. Update:Thank you for fixing it!! I enjoy the incentive to walk and my group of walkers on the app. I have been playing this game for years. Today when I tried to access the epics, bridge, and social area; I get the error message that I don’t have internet connection. I DO have a connection and it is set up to use cellular data. The game refuses to connect. Please fix this! I enjoy playing this game and connecting with my group.

Step goal motivation just got a whole lot easier. This app is super motivational if you have a step count goal that you want to reach everyday. The more you walk the faster you can upgrade and go on different epics! My one suggestion is to let the app read step data from your watch or phone. I don’t always carry my phone on walks or sometimes it doesn’t pick up my steps just around my house. Otherwise 10/10

Fun game, but . . .. The game is fun and slow, but the lack of integration with Apple Watch is baffling, I can't be expected to lug around my phone all the time, and when the game has it's own Apple Watch app yet unable to convert my steps from the watch directly or apple health when synced it makes no sense. I hope the developers are working on a fix/solution for this since the longer you play, the more important those few thousands of steps are, so older players might just stop playing when the curve gets insanely high

Very wholesome and relaxing. I’ve played this on and off for quite a few years now, and it’s just delightful. Great way to motivate myself to be more active, because I want to see what cute planets await! I’m disappointed that there is no Apple Watch support, even though that has activity tracking. I’d like to be able to leave my phone at my desk and do things around the house while still having my steps count.

I like it!. I haven't had it long but so far I'm really enjoying it. It doesn't connect to my Fitbit, which is sad because I often leave my phone on my desk when I'm walking around my house and doing chores. It does take a while to figure out and I'm not entirely there yet (I can't find answers to things like why I should upgrade a thing, I made a second food thing when I didn't need it yet and wasted a lot of food, that kind of thing) I do really enjoy it right now though!

Fully developed players left behind. Players that have achieved level 100 (the max) and have developed all available planets fully are left without enough resources to play. Programmers should change the hangar food boost slots from 2% to 20 and 10. There is no availability to store enough food to play competitively. Time to retire this app from my phone.

Cute Game. I don’t play many phone games, because I tend to lose interest quickly. This is my go-to zone out for a few minutes game. After several years, I still play it, because I like all the cute planets, and it tracks how much I walk (which is a lot). It doesn’t take up much headspace; it’s just an all around nice game to pop in on here and there to “discover” new planets.

I Enjoy the Daily Check-in. This simple app is a fun and entertaining way to “use” your walking workouts to explore the galaxy. I like it and it’s one of the few apps that has survived multiple switches to new devices. Also, even though it’s a simple interface, I have enjoyed “competing” with other players. The in-app “messaging” feature could be suspended, though. It’s repetitive and the annoying “alerts” should have a way to be turned off or silenced. Also, the “scale-up” style where each successive planet requires more time to discover and upgrade is tedious. I used to be excited to discover what the next planet would be; now it’s 9+ days of waiting...and waiting...and waiting... And contributing energy doesn’t help much at all. And forget about upgrading...

I’ve been playing less and less. Recently this app has been causing more irritation than enjoyment. I don’t understand why they don’t allow you to link up with your Apple Watch or wearable technology. Being forced to carry your phone around everywhere in order to get steps seems quite ridiculous to me and is causing this game to be too difficult to be worth my time or money. In addition the last six times my event ship has given me nothing. I don’t understand how this is decided or why all of a sudden I stopped getting any rewards but it’s yet another reason why I’m about to delete this game.

Doesn’t work with Apple Watch?. This gamified walking app would be 5 stars plus if only it worked with my Apple Watch or other such devices. I’ve only had the app for a day but it only seems to work with carrying your cell phone around and I don’t normally do that. So where most my other apps say I’ve done 1,000 steps… this app thinks I’ve only done 19. Major bummer. Please please please change this in your next update! The app is amazing.. just needs to be able to link with Apple Watches or Apple health or something.

Amazing game between friends. After stopped playing this game for 3 years, i jump back in with several of my friends recently and we all loved it! One thing i hope to have more is a goal that my entire friend group can work towards together. Maybe a guild system that we can build a hideout together, something we can do to help new friends other than the lab system, or epics that specifically for guild members only.

Please?!

Cute but confusing. The graphics are adorable and so well done. I've only been playing this for 3 days and I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. There are so many facets to this game and so many things to unlock, but there aren't any directions on how to play or what the lighting bolts or energy cubes or spaceship upgrades are for. I have no idea how to do a mission because it says I don't have the required planet- but also doesn't tell you which planet is needed. I really just don't know what's happening. Maybe if I get a full 10K steps, something will happen/unlock and it'll make sense?

Please. Awesome game but the messages are really annoying. It’s the same rotation and not even new ones. We don’t get anything for clicking or interacting unless we do an ad. Please remove the messages or do something that keeps us going back to the messages. I would give it a one star it’s that annoying but I won’t judge the whole game off that.

Love It. This is the only game I play several times a day, every day. Every time I get all the planets they release new planets which gives me more to go for. I’m constantly making new goals for myself with leveling up planets, donating to lab and galaxy leaderboard. I do subscribe to the 80% bridge increase monthly and it’s helped me jump wayyyy farther ahead. It might seem silly to some, but it’s fun to explore and unlock new things as well as motivate me to move more daily.

Makes Day to Day Life Fun!. I’ve enjoyed using this app daily. There’s something so different about it and it makes you want to return to see what fun little surprises are going to pop up next. I’ve noticed myself wanting to get up and do more just to collect energy points. I recommend this app to anyone struggling for ways to make getting up and moving fun again!

Fleets. I love this game. The launch fleet options really need to be fixed. If the captain doesn’t launch and you aren’t at the maximum number of players (to auto launch after 6 hours), you can’t join another epic without leaving and loosing your money/food. It should launch after 6 hours with the minimum number of members. Who wants to join a group that group wont launch? Why should I loose my work bc someone else isn’t playing?

Needs a notification. This app is absolutely wonderful. It turned fitness from a hassle into something fun! There is only one thing that I really have a problem with. There is no notification for when you reach 10,000 steps. I find it annoying to have to check manually as I’m walking. It would be a really simple change that would make the app so much better.

Ok but really.. Why haven’t y’all synced this app with the Apple Watch yet? Obviously people want it, and it seems like you’re losing customers over this. If you want more people to play the game you need to actually read the reviews people leave, and follow the feedback when so many people ask for something that’s fairly reasonable

Actually something I use!. A friend online suggested I download this to help motivate me to walk for a challenge this summer. I'm not a big fan of games on my phone (too distracting), but I'm really glad I tried this one! The planets are funny and I find myself finding ways to get in extra steps to build more planets. So I guess it had the intended outcome. 🤷🏻‍♀️
