GOP2. Overall a fun way to play offline hold 'em. The visuals are much improved over the first, but I preferred the old play. GOP2 players always raising the pot before the flop doesn't feel too realistic and forces a different strategy to win tournaments.

Great game. The only improvement would be to have another way to get chips other than to buy them or buy houses

Awesome!. I used to play this all the time on pc when i was younger and now i can play it on my mobile phone. ^^ Brings back good memories. Fun game to play, pretty challenging as you progress further in, but i think that's what makes it a good pasttime.

When it doesn't cheat . .. I really enjoy the game when it doesn't cheat. I also would like a tutorial for what to do with the wild cards, diamonds, etc.

Game is a ripoff. I loved the first game, was very excited to get the second version. Very disappointed because they make it so hard to win any hands. In order to advance you have to buy more chips and diamonds. What a ripoff.

Love this game but... I love this game but it just randomly started crashing on start up so I can't open it anymore I hope they push an updated to fix this issue. And I'm using an iPhone 6. Please fix this issue!!

Constant glitches. I paid for this app and every time I am up a ton in a tournament the game glitches! It freezes and the cards go on an endless deal or everyone’s cards disappear and then when I go back into the app the app resets but it takes the money from the tournament when I was about to win and have to pay to enter again. Please update this game because I love playing but every 3 tournaments I play the game constantly freezes and it’s getting very frustrating! I will update my review once this is fixed

A classic!. Just like the old game but with some innovative twists. The one game per day rule takes some fun out of it but otherwise the game is just as fun as the first.

Too greedy. I agree the AI is set aggressively. I have played a lot of this game on MAC. I have almost beaten the game, but the Mobile version would be expensive to play. I bought the "whole game" but I am not going to pay more to play the basic game. I would need to keep paying. Skip this game unless you like to pay.

Enjoy but a little glitchy. I enjoy the game, experience amd overall theory of the game. It’s cute. You go from town to town playing poker to win chips and buy up towns. But I’ve had to go back and look at hands knowing full well that the pot wasn’t split correctly or that I won but somehow didn’t get my chips. I actually think it’s a glitch and not a cheat issue as others have suggested. Needs a little work but it’s still a cute game.

Too greedy and AI cheats. Potentially fun game for offline poker, BUT it's basically a Chinese finger trap that forces you to pay money for chips if you want to continue. Also, it's pretty obvious that the AI makes decisions based on knowing what cards will be dealt ahead of time. AI players won't fold when they should because they know a pair is coming. Still it's decent fun. And if they weren't trying to trap me into paying more, I may have actually bought some chips. As is, I'll probably just play something else.

Nice Fun Game. I like playing against the computer. I'm just learning and playing against others is not what I wanted. This is more fun for me!

Not realistic. Tournaments start with a chip count of 10x the big blind. CPU players will play hyper aggressive/loose, and the card distributions are no way statistically random (I’ve seen so many quads in a single table it’s ridiculous). This all creates excessively fast outcomes; it’s really not much fun.

Fun. Good game but sometimes you have a better hand but computer wins

Will no longer open on iPhone 6. Updated 5 star review to 1 star until crash bug is fixed. Crashes on open every time, restarted phone and reinstalled app to no effect. Good offline poker with a western-style plot to give you something to play for.

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Great time killer during work. Plus runs quick. Only downside is you have to play a game of poker before skipping to the next day.

Would be 5 star but.... The fact that you buy the full version (which is fine) but drop the in app purchases when you already ask customers to buy the game. So with the $2.99 price tag and the inclusion of in app purchases I cannot give a five star rating. Take those out and you have a perfect game though :) very fun and addicting.

Poker. The game is fun to play, somewhat intense at times, like when you have a big pot going, a winning hand(?), and you're almost out of chips. My only minor complaint is the winning cards layout could be just a bit slower...these old eyes aren't as quick as they could be!

Rigged. Often times when you have a better hand than the computer the pot gets split, sometimes the computer even gets more than you. I just played a round where I had a straight and the computer had absolutely nothing and he got 400 chips and I got 200! That doesn't happen in real poker. Also I just won twice against the governor but because of the way this game is set up I lost the overall match. There were two separate times where both myself and the computer went all in and I won both times. If two people go all in one of them loses, period end of story!!!

Best App Game. Truly one of the best games on the App Store. The color and design is beautiful and the game play is really fun. I wish there were more than two levels of game play, but that's not a big enough deal to not get a 5 star.

I like the game. Even though I don’t know a lot about poker this games gives me an chance to get familiar with the rules for playing.

Favorite poker app. I’ve played this app since I was in high school. Still enjoy the simple, fun poker layout.

Great game. Great poker play, although sometimes the computer player seems to get just the right card.

Why the in app purchases?. Do developers realize the point of paying for a game in to avoid micro transactions? Glad this is offline otherwise its pay to win.

Cheat. When your in the first town it is fun and a little challenging to decide to fold or bet, but when you open the next two towns you don't get anything better than pair of 9s King and queen different suits. The luck always falls toward the cpu players and the would be winning hands start off so bad you don't want to bet the kind of money that it gets to before the flop. Just another money grab. I did enjoy the pc version.

Played this online since 8 yrs ago. This game is an excellent teaching tool for those wanting to learn

Bad poker. AI shoves with the knowledge a pair is coming. The AI almost never folds and somehow chops the pot with a pair when you have a straight. Since I started playing this game, I’ve been dealt one pocket pair. And it was threes. AI goes all in pre flop with a 7 and a 2 and hits a full house. Find a different offline poker. This one forces you to either stay stagnant and win little pots here and there or pay money to try to advance. Great idea that had tons of potential, poorly executed.

Fantastic entertainment. Only gripe I have is that the accents of the players sound Arabic, not Texan. I'd be happy to do the correct VOs for you if you'd like.

I should be able to make $ off property. So the games a little different than the original. In the first hand I could buy all the properties and make money. If I lost a hand it was no big deal. I could earn the money in the next couple of days and be able to play a new game. Now they make you play a hand every day. They are designing the game to make you continuously buy chips with actual money. If I paid $3.00 for a full version I shouldn't be haggled to spend more money. I'll continue playing for a little while but I might just delete the app.

Cards/luck not random. Other players always get better hands consistently. Regardless of you raising or trying to bluff, you're financially drained way too soon/fast. Ergo; No inclination at the earlier levels to start throwing my money at "in app purchases". Stop draining my chips and I'll be more apt to purchase them if left with choosing to buy or no I would just as soon delete the game.

too many microtransactions. really love this game but I can't rely on internet access to keep watching ads when i run out of chips.

One minor change. I love this app and I loved it on the computer but could you make it where it shows a pile of chips in front of the your character and the other characters and it gets bigger as your amount of chips increase and it gets smaller if your amount of chips get smaller. But believe me I love this game but I love the computer version more because of that feature.

Fun but table graphics are tough. Fun game, but after playing your World of Poker the table graphics here are hard to use. Very small, and the winner is shown and removed so quickly you can’t keep up. Update this game with the World of Poker table graphics and you’ve got a 5 star game.

Great classic but.... The game is a classic and you guys had a chance to make app history but you fell short with the in app purchases. I had no problem paying $3 for a game I truly enjoy, but you guys ruined the gameplay and practically make you either pay out of pocket or keep restarting. Please update the gameplay if you expect us to buy Governor of Poker 3 if you plan on making one.

Cool but seriously flawed!. I can't purchase any in game content. I even had to delete the free version and then buy and install the paid version. I have an S7 and have never had this issue even in the play store. After the first town, it takes everything short of an actual miracle to get a winning hand.

The program does not open. I was playing this game and then after some days it was only showing loading. I love this game. Pl fix the bug. I tried to download again on another iPad but it just showing loading and froze

Please Fix. Since the new update, I can't open the game. The governor of poker screen comes on but then the screen goes grey and won't load anymore. Please fix this because this is a great game

Don’t buy.. This game cheats, it also goes out of its way to punish the player. If your dealt a rubbish hand and fold before the river the game punishes you by showing you three of a kind, straights, flushes. But when you play these awful hands your destined to lose. But it also goes the opposite, odds are not a factor, the number of times I have had been dealt two aces or kings only to be beaten by a flush or straight, happens 8 times out of 10. The last two left at the table, I was dealt two aces, the river is revealed, ace, 8,5. He goes all in, of course I go all in, next two cards are dealt being a 8,5. He reveals his cards and yep...8 and a 5. I would not recommend this game nor would I buy another game from these clowns. Why punish someone who buys your product? Why because it’s a way of making the game difficult because they can’t program it to be that from real odds. The AI players bet like they know what cards are coming out. Betting huge amounts and win on the very last card.

Too many options in App Store. One of the options took my $3.50 but like all of the other varietals I can’t get past round two. I push next day, it goes to the reputation screen and when I hit its exit button the game drops to my Home Screen.IPhone 15 Pro Max. Rebooting doesn’t help. The same thing happens on my iPad.

Constant Badgering To Buy Chips. I thought by paying $2.99 for the app it would give me a break. Nope! It is constantly trying to sell "virtual" chips. Save your money and play the free versions.

Good Time Waster. If you have time to waste this is a good game to play. It's not something I would spend a lot of money on but it's a good game.

Color confusion. There is no app support and I can't figure out how to change my hat color to something other than blue. Good game but not 5-star with these issues.

Fold and Skip. I feel like this is the game once you are passed the yellow towns. Very few decent hands dealt and odds are against you nearly every time. However, I keep going back to try.
