don’t hesitate to invest in this!. I’m a tutor who specializes in working with kids who are having great trouble with math as it’s conventionally taught. This game charms kids into strengthening their math sense. I find most math apps to be clueless as to the learner’s point of view and a waste of hard drive space. This app is worth every penny!

Cute graphics, moves quickly. Doing parent trials to see if this game is a fit. Adorable character to follow. The game moves quickly through the concepts and it doesn’t even feel like its educational. It’s just fun. No complaints.

Kindergartener Learned to Add Fractions!. Fun, engaging app for introducing fractions! I was skeptical before purchase, but the reviews were so good that I gave it a try. My kindergartener tackled the app with relish. Within three days, she had completed all the levels and had a basic understanding of fractions. She doesn't know the mechanics of adding fractions with unlike denominators nor reducing fractions, but she does understand the basic concept of how 1/8 plus 1/8 equals 2/8 which is 1/4. She also understands 1/4 plus 1/8 equals 3/8. Amazing! Even after she completed all the levels, she happily went back to the beginning to work thru again!

Mr. And Mrs.. Our grandson loves this. We would love to see more levels. He was intrigued by all the apps. Our grandson was interested and challenged by 'Slice Fractions'.

Smart, fun game. A lot of math apps are little more than animated work sheets. Not this one. It's very well-done and successfully presents math itself as an actual game (with a little bit of "digital physics" thrown in for good measure).

Fun and educational. All the fun of cut the rope with way more educational value- I'm sure no one has ever had more fun learning fractions. Excellent work by these developers!

Great fractions game. My 7yo loves this game and has played the whole thing through several times. I doubt she knows the numerical process of adding fractions with different denominators but she understands the concepts of fractions being split into smaller fractions in order to do so, and has gained a firm understanding of what the fraction notations actually represent.

Great App. Introduced my five-year old to fractions. It gave him his solid intuitive understanding. He enjoyed the app and it was fun to watch him learn.

Absolutely wonderful game for gaining math skills organically. As a parent and grade school teacher I love this app. I personally used this with my son while he was in kinder. He loves math, I credit this app for a lot of that. In my classroom this is a fun way for my students to understand through engaging visuals how fractions work.

Great learning tool. We are a homeschooling family and this app is great for teaching fractions, from just the simple idea of what fractions are for my kindergartener, to more advanced math like adding mixed fractions and find common denominators.

Great leaning game. The best teaching game my sons and I have played. A terrific blend of strategy, fractions and fun. My 3-year-old loves the basic game an animation and my 5-year-old can't get enough of fractions. Great way to teach these guys!

Love learning math. Makes learning math fun. Love the different level that teaches different aspect of fraction. Characters are cute and engaging. My 6yr and 3yr love it. My 6 yr mastered the idea of fractions and he's come to love math further.

Best fractions game ever!. This game helped me learn fractions with many fun surprises! There’s no adds, which I think we can thank the game for that. But This game really helped me understand fractions. I really like this game and would like more! The physics are odd and somewhat satisfying! I’ve played the two game over and over and yet I still have the same joy of when I found out about it. So teachers, parents and children if you need yourself or any other person to learn fractions. This action packed game is perfect for your needs!

Fun and engaging - even for adults!. This is super cute with an adorable little woolly mammoth, and is a fun game to play, even for adults - I found myself challenged on a couple of them, to remember how to add different types of fractions together to make the amount requested! Highly recommend!!

Addictive way to make fractions fun. Wish I had this when learning fractions.

Brilliant. This is far and away the favorite app of my four-year-old son and seven-year-old daughter. They are talking about fractions all the time, they created a paper based version of slice fractions, and my son asked Santa for a hat with a flashlight : just like the elephant. So to say this app has been a major driving force in our house for the past few months is an understatement! Great job Ululab: this is great and your latest update is incredible.

Lots of “aha!!” Moments. This app is fun and educational at the same time. The game does not distract from the learning. End it actually gets pretty difficult when it gets to the comparing fractions area... although my son started playing this a few years ago at age 6 he would be challenged still - as the app continues on... going through all of the aspects of learning fractions. I secretly love to play it too!!!

The onLy app that truly teaches fractions!. I bought and tried many apps and found most were simply glorified flash games. But Slice Fractions actually teaches fraction concepts while the kids are engaged in play! Amazing app! My preschool grandchildren now speak of fractional parts as a matter of everyday life!

Wish there was more.... My daughter has loved this app. I love how it teaches her fraction concepts AND to use logic. I really wish there were other apps like this... To review math facts, money, time and more. Such a fun concept.

Excellent app. The app is fantastic. However I wished if you had included an explanation when a fraction gets subdivided or added ... Through a picture or an audio, as my daughter tried to go ahead with the levels by trying to randomly slice through and get past ...I doubt if she deeply understood the subdivisions or additions ... For eg .. 1/6+16 becoming 1/3rd... that should have been explained by an interval audio or picture... that’s it.

Cool!. My nephew liked this so much he didn’t stop working on it until he had passed all the levels. It’s challenging in a really fun, obstacle course type way.

Brilliant. A truly well designed, educational app that feels like an addictive game. Cute graphics to boot. It’s a joy to hand over 4 bucks for something so well made: I’ll take this over any number of mediocre free to play apps that spam my child with ads. My 5 yr old is transfixed, and for once I am having a hard time telling him to get off his tablet.

My six year old says, “Five Stars!”. I bought this for my 8 year old, but my six year old kind of took it over. I wish there was a way to run different sessions, but even so, they both really love it.

Great game. Compelling use of physics and game play to keep kids interested. My 5 year old learned more about fractions then I could imagine while adding and subtracting them in a great game interface. 5years later. My 10 year old still plays the game along with my 7 year old who loves the game just as much.

I really like this game. I like that the mammoth gets to wear funny hats. It’s tricky, and you have to start over sometimes.

Not enough levels / Pas assez de niveaux. The App is well done but my 10 yrs old daughter completed all the levels in one afternoon... we are then invited to buy part 2. I don’t think so! Très bien fait, mais ma petite de 10 ans a complété tous les niveaux en un après-midi... on reste sur sa faim et on est invité à acheter le niveau 2. Non merci!

Vraiment bien fait !. Amène le concept de fraction de façon subtile et ludique pour l’enfant mais évidente pour l’adulte. Les fractions son souvent une notion mathématique difficile pour les enfants et ici ils auront l’impression de jouer mais tout en apprenant et on l’espère, en assimilant la notion pour la retenir.

Je recommande cette application autant pour les enfants que pour les adultes qui souhaitent revenir aux bases sur les fractions pour mieux les comprendre. Ce jeu est testé et approuvé par les élèves en orthopédagogie. Il plait à différentes tranches d'âge et permet à l'enfant d'avoir de la rétroaction immédiate de la part du jeu et non de l'adulte. Je recommande sans hésiter !
