I Loved this Synth. I’ve used this for only a little bit and I loved it, It’s easy to use, looks nice, great presents, and fun settings to play around with. But sadly, this app no longer works when I updates the OS, I’d love to mess with this fun app again.

no midi. the midi doesn’t work, and the help page is 404

Please Support Audio Unit. The developer has a nice selection of apps, but AUv3 support would be much appreciated.

Frustrating “Help” menu. Once you open the help menu there’s no way to close it other than shutting down the app. Pretty frustrating when you are trying to learn about the features and options. No way to try them without an app reboot. IPad mini 2 tested.

Won't record on to cubasis2. Can't get it to stay recorded unless running in background. I tried freezing the track and it crashes cubasis 2 ugh😫 I love the synth bout what's the use if I can't use it to record music. Update with audio bus3 !!!!!!

A lot of synths makes a happy boy. That is how I feel when quality synths are in my possession! Thanks Steinberg for your latest update to iOS Cubase and for this synth...they obviously realize the quiet storm that is an iPad for synth applications, if only the other big boys would pick up the pace and bring it big time! Cheers!

Do not download because you will constantly get errors. This app has been abandoned. If you download it, you will get incompatibility errors. The problem is even if you delete it, the errors will persist. I can’t figure out how to get it to stop. Please fix it!

Sounds great but having interface issues. This synth really sounds great. My only real gripe is that it does not rotate properly on my IPad 9.7. I need to already be in landscape mode before opening the app for the app to be in landscape mode. It also is always “ upside down “ when I open it in portrait or landscaping. Rotating the tablet causes the to rotate and remain upside down. So every time I want to play this app I need to gyrate the tablet a few times before getting the screen set right. No other apps do this so I can only assume it’s an issue with the app.

Not Working. Doesn’t boot up anymore since the last IOS update. States that developer needs to update app in order for it to work with current IOS……

THIS APP WILL NOT DELETE (UPDATED). and it gets more annoying everyday. first it just stopped working, total bummer cuz this was a great synth! so i delete it, and now everytime i install ANY new app, a message pops up saying that Nanologue is not compatible with the current version of iOS (im on 14.7) and then requires a Keep Or Delete answer. Then the app i am trying to download gets stuck in the download cycle and has to be tapped twice again to actually download. It doesnt matter what i do in this situation because IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME AND IT KEEPS COMING BACK. IT EVEN GETS ITS OWN ICON ON THE HOMESCREEN. i have no idea how to get rid of it. Im on a brand new 2021 11" iPad Pro, and ive done every form of reset, recovery and hard reset possible. how do i make it stop? (UPDATE: the developer fixed the app, it actually works now and for a super old app, its pretty nice if youre just getting started in synthesis. it may seem like there are better synth apps to spend the money on, but if a "straight forward true-to-the-real-thing experience that is also easy to use" synth app is all you want, this gets the job done perfectly) and the developers pay close attention to suggestions as of lately, so feel free to tell them when theres something you dont like about an app they make and they'll at least respond to you about it.

Instantly impressed!!!. Literally just opened this app and boom, cut off and lfo rate right there, exactly what I've been looking for to make some metalcore dubstep!!! Just absolutely awesome!!!! Thank you!!! Looking forward to buying cubasis! Of course as always I'm sure your looking into adding audioBus!

Helpful. I'm yet to be a professional;however, this is a wonderful app that is easy to learn and allows good sound to be created by you the Artist!

Update this app. The sounds are so hard I love it please update this modernize this classic

Auv3 please you pout out Cubase correct?. This won’t work in ios 14 not sure where it works but considering you make cubase you should update this so you look like hard working devs !

I Cannot Say Enough About this App. Nanologue is a full fledged-analogue-based synthesizer that is both simple and intuitive. It is a great application for experimentation with synthesis and playing around to music. The presets are varied and vast. The midi-in function just puts the icing on the cake. I love this synthesizer!

Fabulous app. Although basic, this is an excellent with great sounds right out of the box. I give this 5 stars.

Needs update. This app doesn’t work with the recent iOS version. You can’t even open it.

cool for a freebie but need some tweaks. Fun, but some of the parameters like the delay length are impossible to manipulate up and down values, seems you just have to click to cycle thru till you get what you want. Bigger buttons please. Cool for a freebie!

Cool sounds, good interface. It's a great sounding a FREE synth with inter-app audio and Audibus capabilities. What could you possibly complain about with that?

If you need more, go shell out $50 for a Korg synthesizer app.

If but for ONE thing.... I lucked up on this easy to use analog synth app just recently with my move to iOS-based mobile music production, but if ONLY the pitch bend could be adjusted to do a full octave, this woulda been a slam-dunk 5-star app for me. It's likely there'll be any updates to this, but hey...it's STILL a great freebie.

Great Synth App!!. I've tried a lot of apps trying to find one that would let me create a specific bass line for a song, and this is the only one that's been easy to use and featuring versatile tools. I'd gladly pay for this and any upgrades!!

Almost Great for me. I really like the interface, the options and tones .. the deal breaker for me is that it’s monophonic. Can’t even play a harmony, much less a chord. Give me that and I’ll give it 5 stars. Thanks Steinberg, keep ‘em coming ..

I enjoy using this app.. It is fascinating on how any one who uses it can create sounds. I learned that this is what sound editors uses to create weird sound effects. Like R2 D2. Maybe not with this version. But it is fun to use. I heard that playing a synthesizer is hard. I guess because it has all sorts of sounds.

I’d pay for an auv3 version. Nanologue is one of the best sounding iOS synths & I’ve tried a lot. Unfortunately it’s none too stable, as is usually the case with IAA...the amplitude dips weirdly sometimes, I often have to zoom in and normalize sections after recording it. Because IAA blows chunks what i do is tweakthe sound I want, make a few variations in BM3 then resample it as audiofiles. 5 stars tho bc it’s free, and sounds VERY RAW almost like a Nord Lead. Great for aggressive musik.

Really good sound!. Really good price! If the labels could be enlarged that would be a big improvement. As well as the menu buttons. 5th star after that. Small buttons and wasted space right now. Controls can be a little unintuitive with their placement and angles but... Great job and thank you steinberg!
