Highly RECOMMEND. I’m in awe of how well this app keeps my passwords secure & how impenetrable that security is. I’ve used other “notes” apps. MANY of them. This BY FAR exceeds in security, ease of use & makes it easier for the user to get in to unlock it if a password is forgotten. BRILLIANTLY DESIGNED. 5 stars? Pffft. Personally I’d be insulted. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️10 STARS!! (5 up top already) just sayin. ✌️P.S. These “morons” giving this app bad ratings must be EXACTLY that. Morons. It’s a NOTES APP. Not Fort Knox! Almost perfect. I love the privacy and simplicity of it. I make a lot of notes throughout the day and this is super easy. I wish it was easy adding photos. Unless I’m not aware of some feature. Either way I love the app. And color too

Great Program. Not only does it have a password remember question but it has facial I’d as well. When I got a new iPhone and did a transfer all info was recreated for my new iPhone. Unfortunately it doesn’t do it from a iPhone back up to a new iPod, or at least I haven’t figured out how to do it. It’s still a great program for keep your information safe.

Four Stars. This app is great! I literally write down so many things that I don’t feel comfortable sharing! But, I wish I could customize a little more, it would make things super cool! Otherwise, it’s a really grate place to share your inner most thoughts, and possibly secrets.

Secure Notepad. This is what I needed. I created a set of info that I needed on my iPad and am very happy with the results. BUT, I must say that I became extremely disappointed when I realized that the information I had entered in Secure Notepad did not transfer to my iPhone’s Secure Notepad. I need it in both iPad and iPhone for my use. Can you creat an update that would accomplish this to happen? All other apps’s information that is entered in either my iPad or iPhone transfers. Please correct this problem!

Very great. I like this game because I can put my personal feelings to we’re no one can enter this game with out knowing the passcode it’s a great way to express your feeling that you can’t really show thank you this

Not Secure. If your phone gets hacked, the app is worthless. Twice, my written down password didn’t work. The secret questions were changed to something bizarre that I couldn’t even relate to, let alone answer. Deleted and re-downloaded just now for the third time. Will update review in the near future. To be fair, if it’s due to an OS exploit, then none of the passwords I type in are secure. We’ll see if it’s more secure in iOS 11.1 Disappointed about the 3 messages only or $3.00. Overpriced...this is a very simple app that should be free or at most .99 cents. There are hundreds (conservatively) of Apps on the App Store that are immensely more comprehensive than this very simple app...that are FREE. It probably took less lines of codes to write it than are in this review.

Like it a lot. I have been stymied by this app for a year. I made my password so obscure to me that I couldn't remember it. I made my hint obscure as well. This was probably because I had sick for years and couldn't remember much of anything. I am jubilant now as I finally figured out my hint and was able to get back into the notepad. I found it both worthy of respect and frustrating. Am I glad I was finally able to figure it out? Yes. I had given the account up for lost. But it was an instructive lesson for me, on saving, recording and hiding passwords, hints, and security. Kudos.

NOT Secured!. Please people, wake up and smell the roses. The only thing this app has is a password to protect your notes from others. There is no mention in either the app’s description or or developer’s site on how the notes are secured. Unless the app uses ASE of a minimum of 128bits, preferably 256 bits, encryption and/or other technologies to keep your password and notes safe, anyone with a bit of know how can open and view them. To say that something os secure but not specify how it is secured, is like a doctor telling you that she needs to give you a shot but not tell you why and for what. It would be nothing more or less than blind trust. Can you trust someone that much? Not me! Unless the security type and level is specified and tested, this and any other app is completely useless. Similarly, even if the app had the strongest security possible, people using passwords that are considered strong, defeats the whole purpose. Sadly, that is exactly what people do the bast majority of the time.

Wonderful App. If it was not for this app, I think I would be lost. It has kept my information. I have not had a problem with it, and I highly, highly, highly recommend it.

I don’t know what the password. Love it but like the password isn’t working and that’s like the only reason why I download it there so like I don’t know why it’s not working like that. I only give it four stars but I love everything it’s super nice I love it just not the password like it didn’t work but like it’s not popping up on on the screen so like I can access my notes but it’s not doing it so like

Review. this is honestly such an amazing app and so creative on my apple notes I forgot my pass Wales so I was always scared that someone would go through my things but I have found this app and gave it a try and it was amazing I’ve tried to try other apps but you need a membership to lock notes so this was truly helpful 5/5 stars

Unacceptable. This is so ridiculous and unacceptable only 3 notes and and then you have to pay for unlimited is that really how you guys plan on making money there are so many other apps that we can use that are free and probably even better than this one I dont care if you hate on me for this but respectfully I just think it’s not worth it. This is just my opinion other people might have different opinions I just think that it is just not worth it.

Easy and Dependable.. I think this is one of the better secured notes app out there. I have not had it a long time but in the time that I have it has not given me any issues at all. It is very simple to use and it doesn’t have a bunch of extra fluff, which I like.

Private notes. This is a real good app for your privacy and only you can open it with a password so this is aSuggestion because it is a really good app and I would love for you to buy it or get it because it’s free because it’s a very good privacy app

Please Make an LOGIN!!!!. Please please make improvements on making a login so we can access our old notes!!! I hate how if I download this app in another phone and try to login to mine it doesn’t have that. It tells me new password and new security questions. There’s literally no option for an login to go to the one we already have in here. I hope you can fix this as soon as possible!

Does what it's supposed to. I am so amused by the complaints that there is a limit to capacity. There are no free rides, people!! (By the way, the number of notes is limited, before you have to buy the app for $2.99. But I haven't reached any limit to the length of each note🤔)

My Review. I love it I evwn like the passcode feature so you can have your notes protected this works really well if your trying to write notes as a life planner or just information you wont forget

Simple and easy. Set a password, security question, write notes. Simple as that. Works well, automatically locks whenever you leave. Might not be worth $3 for some people but you can just make a few categories and expand on each of those notes instead of lots of individual ones.

One wish. This app is great and I just started using it I love how it has a password but one thing I would change is to title your notebook so I can see which one I want to go into to write a note down I hope they can change this

I thought this was porn?. Just kidding. I'm kinda salty that I only get to write 3 notes until I have to pay, and I have already reached the limit. But I really don't care so I'm going to cram things into the same chapter, so hopefully my fanfic will be much organized. I love the lock feature along with the delay, so I can choose what ever, when ever. Also, one thing that I really wanted was a theme changer, so like you could have colors like gray instead of red.

Awesome!. I haven't had this app for that long, but it's pretty great! Kinda don't like how you have to pay $5 for more than 3 notes, but it's a one-time payment, so I guess it's not that bad.

It hinges on Markdown. I cannot believe how many notes app developers think any kind of rich text is unnecessary. Why‽ I’ve been using the native Apple Notes happily until a corrupted file started causing it to crash. I’m hoping to move my files over to something that works as well- manually, apparently- until I delete the corrupted file(s) and then find a way to export them en mass. Unfortunately a lot of things stand in my way: 1. surprisingly few notes apps use Markdown so whoops- there goes my formatting 2. My notes aren’t imported so *sigh*, I have to laboriously copy and paste every stinking URL and photo and video or audio clip 3. Nesting inside of nesting apparently doesn’t mean a basic outline 4. I can’t export my files from notes- sometimes the destination app won’t show up anywhere on any "save to" list no matter what 5. Security? Trust me. No one is trying get into my notes. I encrypt what’s necessary and even that’s probably overkill. Folks- have redundant systems for your passwords and security questions. I won’t tell you how but there’s a lot of ways to do it. Have redundant information and photo storage too- those can easily roll over and around each other. Storage is so cheap there’s no reason to have only one set of your photos, for example. Heck. Twitter is a mess- thank you Elon. Anything could be.

It’s cool. I have always liked stuff like this so I use it a lot. Nobody in my family knows the password so they can’t see what I write. The only bad thing is that you can only write three different notes and you would have to buy the rest

Frustrated, Disappointed, Upset. I have used this app for awhile now and I dropped my phone in water and had to get a new phone. When I downloaded the app again from all of the apps that I had purchased from the App Store all of my notes are gone. So upsetting and so frustrated. I don’t understand why everything, all my notes are gone. Be careful with this app. I just want my notes again.

No directions or functions work. I made one page of notes. Came back a couple months later to add another page but am unable to figure out how to do such a simple task. The red plus symbol seemed like that would have been the way to go but it doesn’t respond. No directions. I even selected the upgrade button to see if that is why it wouldn’t work, even that didn’t work. I am out!

Great but a few concerns…. Don’t get me wrong, this app has great potential! But there is a wait before it locks again. There should be an “instant” button added. Also, the app is just very simple, when I feel it could have more. Maybe like more detailed ways of taking notes?

Great, but could use more features. I very much enjoy the app and appreciate that it’s very simple to use. I also think that one lifetime payment of $2.99 for an unlimited amount of notes is hardly anything to fret over for those of us who will definitely need and use more than 3 notes. But the app could definitely do with more formatting features, like being able to put words in italics or bold, for example. Also, the ability to transfer notes onto another phone when you switch. You can export notes as of right now, but it’s not the same. It’d be nice if you could actually log in to the app on different phones and still be able to access your saved notes. But I have no complaints besides that. I still enjoy the simplicity of the app.

Very good. I downloaded two apps to see which one was better. I noticed the other app said “no ads” and had twice as many reviews so I was expecting I’d like that one better. That was not the case. The platform of this app is great and very user friendly

Doesn’t work properly!! DONT GET!. It wouldn’t even lock when I used it! Thats the whole point!? And If I just want 3 little notes Ill just put them somewhere else.I don’t understand y’alls system is flawed, Im not going to pay to add more notes when I can just find a better app..Don't get this app!!! Not recommend if your want your notes private.. So I got this app and I was excited because I finally found a app that makes you type a password to get in to your notes! Well... that didn’t work out... So I got the app typed in everything and was good then I wanted to test it, so I exited out of the app then got back in and it asked me my password so I was glad then I wanted to see if I got the password wrong then... it just let me in the notes without a password! I even hid the app on the bottom thing at the bottom of the screen! I was disappointed! I deleted it and wrote this review!

TomS. Good app but needs a search engine. When first opened, there is a “Search” option, but it only tells you which folder the “searched for” item resides in. It does not go to the item you have search for. For a folder with MANY items, a search that would take you directly to the item would be nice.

Deleted Notes. I was liking this app, just wished it let you add sub-folders. Then I logged in.....Extremely upset as I logged in to find all my were deleted. I hit restore deleted notes and it brought me to unlimited space storage. I purchased it as it showed my notes would be restored. They have not been!

Great App. This is a great app - Allows passcode and security question without buying premium upgrade. This is a great app precisely because of its simplicity. Easy to use quickly like you would jot down a note. As a user, the app allows you to sort by date or subject. Thanks to the app owner/designer for this simple-to-use great app. Appreciated!

Good app for the most part.. It’s a good app, but I have 2 complaints. I can only have 3 notes without being told that I have to get the full version which is dumb. Second, I want to be able to log in with finger print, not having to type my password every dang time.

Okay, few pros and few cons. I don’t have much experience with this app. However, for the amount of time I used it and had it, it seems to be going just fine. I mostly like how you can have a passcode so that no one sees what you are writing. But I do wish there were more features like make it look nice or something of that short. I have a friend who used her password but it didn’t work and her security question was bizarre and hard to answer. But as long as you don’t forget your password you will be fine.

Best secret note app. TBH honest I really enjoyed this app cuz ik I cant really remember some passwords of some important stuff, and so if I just put it on my normal notes someone will probably just read it and use unlike this app, you are able to make ur own password and a Security question. This iz one of the best apps I have on my phone

Perfect 👌. Everything is amazing! It has a working password that if you forget you can enter the answer to a question you make! The only down side is that you have to pay if you want more then 3 notes, but other than that it’s amazing!

I love this!. I NEVER write reviews but this app has been amazing! It’s simple to use and has not only a password, but also a security question in case you forget. They cherry on top is that it can all be accessed with Touch ID. This app is much easier to navigate than many other hidden notes apps such as calculator plus. This app is very deserving of its five star ratings and high reviews. 10/10 would recommend.

Perfect for private notes. Exactly what I was looking for as far as privately trying to secure my notes such as passwords and other private info. This is absolutely it. You have to constantly sign in which I like, also your notes are not shown just the title until clicked on, which a lot of apps do not do. All around great

Good.. Nice app and all, it works great.. but I think only 3 notes is a little off. I get I didn’t pay for it and if I did I’d get unlimited notes.. but come on, only three? Not even 5 or 10? But I know I can just get another app to get unlimited completely free but it’s a bit of a let down because I liked this one. But it’s just like the regular notes app so, doesn’t really differ.

I CAN’T DISABLE FACE ID. The app does allow Face ID to access my app even though I didn’t allow Face ID, I write my secret stuff about my life and I don’t want anybody whi has access to my phone to have access to these. Please add a button to sign out as well instead of waiting for 30 seconds to pass to logout automatically.

Note Limit. The free version comes with features like organization options, password protected, and a security question. But it only lets you have three notes before you have to pay for the full version. Since there are so many other notes apps, this seems like a really low number. I understand the need for a limit so they can make money without ads, but three is too low

Frustrated. I was happy to find and happy with this app initially. I moved an important file to me here after years in a regular notepad. Two months later it has vanished. I access it frequently and am dumbfounded. The developers have not responded to inquiries. I am deleting this app and would caution you all before relying on it, especially if you’ve been using something that already works.

Good & Simple For Privacy. Would be great to have a couple simple additions: 1.) A numeric password option on the large numeric native Apple screen for quicker input. 2.) Ability to emphasize words as is possible with Apple’s native notepad. (Bold, larger font, italics) This assists in droves with visual organization and content flow. It also helps for cutting and copying from the native notepad. Great, simple app which keeps private thoughts from people who have your password or access to your phone. Kids, spouses, etc.. I recommend.

help. I downloaded this app and forgot about it for a while but now I want to check back on it and I cant remember my password even with the help of my hint. I know it’s my fault, but is there any way at all that you could help me out with getting back in or do I have to just hope I remember the password at some point? Disappointed. It's very easy to use and password protected. But after only 3 notes you have to pay for the unlimited version. It wouldn't be so bad if these situations would be included in the instructions before downloading the app. Therefore I wouldn't have wasted my time because who only wants a notepad for only 3 notes. Any of the apps that are limited unless you buy the unlimited version tells you this in the description of the apps. I'm deleting this app!!!!

Perfect, if only I could sync it. I got this app, because it was highly rated and had just a small one time fee. I needed to replace Dashlane, which was about to change a monthly fee for secure notes, which was the only part of the app I used, so Secure Notepad fit the bill. I only wish I could sync my notes between iPad (where I entered all my notes) and my iPhone. Not sure what I will do to resolve that.

Not self locking anymore. I am using this app for my wedding vows and this morning after a long period of not using I opened it up to add something. It was completely unlocked. I do not have Face ID turned on and there’s 0% chance anyone knows the password. This app used to automatically lock the notes if you flicked between apps and I’ve fiddled with it this morning and it’s not doing that. There’s no “lock” or “sign out” option to lock it manually only a 30second or two minute timer - if that even works. I’ve lost confidence in this app.

Notepad. Great App. Having the additional layer of security to access App is reassuring when others use your phone. Easy to use. Would appreciate a couple more pages in the free App though but worth purchasing.

Awesome Stuff!. What a great app. I guess the code was relatively simple, but for what it can do it's excellent. I love the code and security question feature. The one thing that I would love is an ability to style your notes, perhaps? I myself do web programming and adding a styling system is difficult but not impossible. But yeah, epic app, love it, and I love the fact that I can actually hide stuff properly now is a great feeling!

Useful app. Very useful app! Found it handy for to-do-lists, work and business notes, job quotes, and anything else u like to keep secure! The only downside is that the free version only allows you to create 2 pages of notes until having to buy the full package! With that saying this is an app that may well be worth the dollars! Keeps me organized and stress free with everything i need all in 1 easy place to locate! I have never reviewed an app but this was impressive so i thought id share! Good download ;)

Misleading Advertising. I downloaded this app only to find, that it is limited to three(3) notes ..then you must pay. No where in the description did it state that in-app purchase was required.

Touch ID. Please get Touch ID!!! It’s make things so much easier!

Only 3 notes free. After 3, it requests to purchase, so can't add any new memos. If you happy with using one large note it would work well for you.

I often have people use my phone for Netflix or games and it's great to not have to worry about my notes going missing because of my younger brother or cousins! Testing 10.13.20. Testing found there is a problem with the password and question that does not think straight and some reason it was linked into a locked even if the password is right on and question is right but the reply say ( wrong password or answer the password and question was lock in another device password file and there were right but app say ( wrong ) if you want 5 ⭐️ fixed the error and not asking to set up the password right off the top if they new to user and password file fill afterwards set up.

Somewhat Amazing and Incredibly Awesome!!. This app keeps my notes private and out of sight from my parents. I have private things on this notepad that I don't want people reading them and thankfully their is a lock on it 👍👍👍👍👍👍. The weirdest thing is that it only keeps 2 private notes on it and you have to buy the pro to keep all your private notes: why couldn't the pro be for free, that's kinda like dumb. But I suppose it's pretty smart. Unless your very secretive. Anyways Great App, this is like my own digital diary to keep secret notes and stories. :)

Crashes now..lost everything... I've had this app for months, and loved it. Nothing too special, nothing complicated. It worked fine, until a couple weeks ago when it suddenly decided to stop working right when I need it. I went on the app, and it said that I needed to put in a new password, as if I just got the app. I put one in to check to see if my notes were still there, and they weren't. I tried to create a new note, but it crashed. Please, fix it. If you cared about your app users, you would at least try to fix it. This other app I tried, which was to create notes, crashed within a couple weeks. This app however, I thought was reliable. But I was wrong. Please, FIX. IT.

Decent. App is pretty good

Doesn’t work?. On the main page, top right, is a pen link, I’m guessing it’s the button to write a new note, but it doesn’t do anything, making this app the equivalent of a lockbox filled to the brim with lead.

Payment required. Requires payment to write more than three notes. I’m not spending any money on a notes app :)

Protection. This app is not bad since it’s a free app ,it just gives you a little peace of mind that your stuff is a little safer but remember this is not a encrypted app so can be hacked easily but to the average theft or person who finds your phone they can’t get into the information even if your phone is unlocked or left unlocked for some reason. They can’t open with Face ID or fingerprint ID so if your in deep sleep they can’t just use your face or finger to open need to know your pass word. But don’t trust for super super sensitive important information

Lacking lots of important features. When on password change page, user cannot come back or close the page (if doesn’t want to change the password). The only possibility is that user needs to close the application. Also the notes created on this app, doesn’t show that they are saved on cloud. I would suggest an icon on top of app to show the notes are saved on cloud or not.

Background Color. Give me an option to change background color and I will buy this junk and rate it higher..for me any app with bright white background theme is peace of junk

3 Notes. You get 3 notes in the free part. For more than 3 notes, you have to purchase. It’s not a huge purchase price, but I make do with 3 notes.

This app is awesomeness!. This app is everything and has everything I was looking for. After trying and downloading and even paying for apps that just plain disappointed me....I finally found this one!!! Just in time too! Love this app!!!!!!!!

It's ok bc if u forget ur passcode u put in a question and answer it's and then u get logged in and then u can change your passcode but I wouldn't recommend using the app bc is has some bugs and glitches ur other apps so yah I don't recommend it's for u bc it takes ur info and if do get its don't put any personal info

Not Useful. I wanted to get the app because in my normal notes I like to write songs in and people always end up seeing them, I don’t like that so then I got this app. I was hoping that I would be able to put all of my songs on the notes but I ended up only aloud to put 3 on. Then it says if I want to put more notes I have to buy this other app. Here I am now.

Consistently Impressive. This app does what it is supposed to do and keeps doing it. No random loss of data and not freezing. Thank you for such a good password protected app!!!

It’s ok. I trusted the app and put every bit of my information as far as passwords in it and they got deleted when I went to add one I lost everything I have had for four years. I’m in a fix. Don’t trust too much with the app make sure you have a back up

Oh no. Not a useful app. After using it for a small amount of time It ask to update and did not let me continue with my notes. Very confusing app. Doesn’t allow me to add more notes. App wants me to pay for services in order to work.

Restore deleted data?. I loved this app while I used it… but I deleted it and now I can’t get my notes back. Is there any possibility of recovering data?

App Won’t Open. After installing the latest 14.2 iOS update this app will not open. I’ve tried restarting my phone numerous times and it still won’t open. I’ve lost hundreds of important notes due to this and the developer is not responding to my messages. Has anybody had any luck opening this app after the latest iOS update?

The app is good but it could use some improvements. Having the ability to add pictures/contact information/audio clips to my notes would be an awesome addition.

Memory helper. Easily accessed.. I like this app for keeping bits and pieces that would have in the paste been written on a scrap of paper and probably misplaced. Easy keeping notes updated and current.

It’s cool. I have always liked stuff like this so I use it a lot. Nobody in my family knows the password so they can’t see what I write. The only bad thing is that you can only write three different notes and you would have to buy the rest

Disappointed 😒😠. I have for quite a while and I just got it this year too and so far I only have 3 notes on this app. Yesterday I tried adding new notes and it's telling me that I have reached my limit and if I want a full version of it I have to buy it n it's $2.99. Really I thought that it's free I can't believe it I woulda give a 5 on this but I changed my mind. 😒

Why it’s food and bad.. This is good because you can keep secrets, info and passwords. But anybody could hack it and you can only make 2 of them, which isn’t very helpful, I just got this app, because my cousin suggested it, so I’m trying to see if it’s good. 4 stars so far!

Lost all of my passwords. I’ve had this app for over a year. It worked really well until this new update. Now the app crashes every time I try opening it. I tried updating the app and and a completely new app was installed on my phone with out my saved notes. I reached out to the developer and never received a response. Very disappointed!

Simple and Useful. This is super easy to set up and super easy to use. I use it to write down very personal things in a very safe place. Highly recommend this free version.

Not included information. I had this app for a couple weeks. Nice and easy to use. However ever taking a small handful of notes I was advised by a message that the storage limit has been exceeded, and to buy the paid version for more storage. This was not mentioned anywhere in the free version. I hope somebody sees this before wasting time and installing this free version.

amazing. i have been using this app for about a year and this keeps all of my feelings safe from anyone reading them. this app is great for passwords, writing, and anything else that you want to keep safe. the only thing i don’t like is that you can’t have more then 3 notes at a time without paying.

Like it but could be improved. This is a convenient and secure App. But it is challenging to organize. It could be improved if the notes were in alpha order or you could add folders for topics-like airlines, finance etc.

Transferring. Bought the app to secure my passwords so could get them when I needed. Got on I-pad Pro and I-phone only to discover I can send from one to the other. Need to retype entire note. Pain in the %#*+>#}.

Great until they wanted to make me pay. This is a fantastic simple note app. Want to write notes? Great! Want a password? Perfect! Until they wanted to make me pay money to make more than 3 notes. Immediately deleted after that, there’s other apps that provide unlimited notes for free
