Awesome app!. This app helps me track my progress which helps me have more balanced workouts throughout the week. I also find it very motivating with all the support and encouragement you get from other members as well as a weekly progress report that they send via email that let you know when you beat a PR and how well you worked various areas of your body over the week. They have a large selection of exercises that you can track, but still need to add more in my opinion (hence the 4 rating and not a 5). Overall FANTASTIC app! My only complaint is that they don’t continue to add new exercises to track...I like to track EVERYTHING to keep myself accountable.

Awesome app for any level of lifter. I'd consider myself to be a lifter that has been training for about 11 years. It all started with school training and has continued as my stress relief through college and grad school. BodySpace has really made my workout tracking much more convenient. I set 4 stars as some of the features like supersets and things aren't as intuitive as I thought they should be, and exercise names are very sensitive in the search. But hands down has helped me transform my lifestyle and how I go about my workouts. The professional plans and forums have also helped teach me a lot about healthy living that I wouldn't have ever known on my own.

Carrying a Workout Journal is For the Birds. First and foremost, I would like to state that I’ve had BodySpace on two different devices in two differing junctures of my life. Carrying a workout/fitness journal does absolutely no justice to the BodySpace app, with instructions on how to use each equipment with optimal efficacy, set and rep count and rest timers help prevent pussyfooting about or losing count on sets or forgetting what equipment used. In addition, every week, a summary of your workouts is sent via email with motivating quotes, like “What’s up? No workouts this week?” or “[first name] is a weightlifting machine!” It’s the little things that keep you going on your workout goals.

Much better than when I last used it. I haven’t used this app in about 3 years and it is drastically different. So I like the ability to enter weight and reps then save it easily. I wish it would integrate into the Apple health app. Also the 12 week trainer programs....it appears you have to pay for them now? At least you get the workout routine. Also is there a way to enter/track morning cardio from a program and it not continue to add total time? I don’t want it to add all the time that lapses from my first workout till my second one. Other than that I really like it.

Great Workout App. This app is amazing and really gets me to push myself. I enjoy the fact that it tracks reps, sets, and weight which helps you push yourself the next time you go to the gym. My only complaints would be the fact that it doesn’t create a workout session that is easily transferred to Apple Health so I have to manually create a workout on my Apple Watch in order to track my calorie burn properly. Also I would like to have a workout schedule available for offline usage because sometimes when I go to the gym I don’t have service I’m unable to open the workout and track it.

Best App Ever. This is by far the best app that I’ve used. I must say it has helped me with my weight loss and keeping track of my workouts. I’ve lost a total 52lbs, covid weight I was able to keep off 42-43lbs. I’ve never had one issue with the exercise database and if I don’t see an exercise I just modify based off what’s available. I’m a Fitness professional with my AA in Kinesiology, CPT & Sports Nutrition Certs, even Zumba Licensed Instructor and Licensed Plate by Zumba Nutrition Coach. I just received my Bachelors in Kinesiology for Dance. I’d highly recommend it to anyone. Keep up the good work, track your workout, and crush your fitness goals!!

Best workout ever. I have used this app on and off for years I have tried others and majority of the workout app you only get 30 day free trial and then you are charged an arm and leg. I always come back to this one! It’s a mix between a workout app and social media you have support of other users. It’s user friendly and has programs for everyone from someone that has zero exercise experience to the most experienced exerciser. You type in what your goals are and there is a never ending list of programs or you can create your own! I’ve been consistently using this app for 3 weeks and I am doing a program and I started seeing results by week 2! I highly recommend for all ages and expertise

Great app, needs a few improvements. I’ve used this app for almost a year and it has completely shifted the way I workout. Using programs (I use Kris Gethin’ 12 week trainer) has made a drastic difference in the way I work out and the goals I’ve set for myself. I love how each day has a set workout list, some that are familiar and some that are pretty foreign, that are geared towards accomplishing the end goal. I can go into the gym not incredibly motivated to workout in the beginning but as the program list helps he organize my workouts in a way that helps me finish every session. What still needs improvements, however is certain bugs within the programs. I’m not sure if it is specific to the program I use because as of right now I’ve only used one but there have been some pretty frustrating issues that have put pauses on my workouts. For example, there will be times were it just won’t list the “target rep number” where it should. Sometimes it won’t list the workout day all together and I’ll just have to skip it and move to the next day. I’ve actually temporarily paused my subscription because I didn’t want to deal with these issues. This is the only review I’ve given for an app because it’s one that I want to incorporate into my daily lifestyle as I saw significant improvements in my workouts and wellbeing after using it. If these issues were to be resolved I’d for sure pay for a subscription to keep going after my goal.

How do you have so many stars? Pathetic!. Can't take how in a couple years of using this, issues have not been fixed. Fitness Programs available are incomplete or outright wrong and they're not being QAed. There isn't a way to record body measurements which is a major thing in real bodybuilding. The basic Quetlet BS is out. "Ditch the scale" is not implemented here. When I post sometimes pictures do not show, or my workout doesn't show at all. It is very difficult to maneuver and is glitchy. Sometimes freezes and I can't continue. Also, this textbox for fit posts doesn't mingle with Apple's autocorrect so I have to capitalize and add every punctuation which is triple reason for me to move on. Goodbye, Bodyspace. You have never worked for me. This app has way too many problems that you clearly have no priority to fix.

Half of what I would like. The exercise database is great, though creating custom exercises is frustrating. Also can't simply log exercise post workout and it wants to time the reps when I already did them. Would like to access full plan website info as well. The meal part of the program I chose only displays in the full web version. Also, it doesn't sync to my Fitbit account. I would like that so the meals I log there are tracked from one account. My fitness pal has better overall function but terrible on exercise logging. If Fitbit, myfitnesspal and bodyspace all smashed into one app, it would be perfect. Also...”friend” requests can be tricky. You post images of your workouts and work progress and this is inherently tricky since it is the body impacted by weight training. Some people are in BodySpace to flirt and it would be nice if everyone came to work, not pick up a date or send creepy messages about how hot people are. I love the exercise and motivation but if the pervs could be addressed it would be great.

Good app for tracking workouts. Easy to create your own workouts or follow others. A deep library of exercises, and a weekly summary any via email. Rest timer keeps you on track. So far it’s free and keeps me focused on my workout when I’m at the gym. Bugs: timer settings don’t flow through to all exercises in a planned workout or if you add exercises not on the list. Desired Enhancements: ability to add notes during an exercise especially if doing a variation or what worked/didn’t work when trying a new exercise. Also ability to view historical data online so can see more than just weekly progress.

#1 Community. I’ve had this app since 2015 - it’s an awesome way to hold yourself accountable to the gym and to learn how to use gym equipment if you’ve never stepped foot in a gym in your life! There are step-by-step videos, photos, and descriptions of each workout. Goal-driven fitness programs that lay out exactly what days are for what. Spots to load progress photos and weight tracking. And an overall kind, encouraging community of people rooting you on, commenting on your workouts, offering advice if you have questions. 10/10 would recommend to people looking for a place to start in the sometimes-daunting fitness world!

Was a great app.... This app/community helped me so much over the past 4/5 years. I’ve logged over 700 workouts and made quite a few friends. The functionality and variety of workouts were great.... WERE. Lately I have to restart the app several times to even view my WOD. My notifications barely load (I constantly get an error that reads “Notifications cannot be loaded, please try again later”) My profile page does not load at all, just my avatar pic and no info (workouts tracked, weight lifted etc). I have brought this up SEVERAL times to customer support and all I’ve gotten back was a generic “we are aware of problems that users are having and are working to fix the issue, in the meantime please consider paying for a subscription...”.....?!!?! For an app that has been free for HOW MANY YEARS?! BB doesn’t make enough money off of their website and supplements that they now have to make money off of an app that has been free for so long?!! Now some workouts that I have used over and over are now behind a pay wall??!! Stop being greedy and FIX YOUR APP! I already spend enough money ordering supps on your site!! This makes me want to just delete the app and delete my account. BB obviously isn’t interested in the well being of its users as it is in the all mighty dollar.

Love it but has room for improvement. Like all of us, this app is working hard but has room for improvement. It would be beneficial if we could make notes on the workout or easily modify a workout plan if the gym doesn’t have certain equipment etc. I know you can add sets or add extra exercises at the end of a workout but being able to modify an existing super set would be helpful. Making notes like, how a certain exercise made you feel, what you should work on, tips to improve your stance etc. would be great too. Let’s take it to the next level! The search feature is quirky too. Sometimes I can search for an workout plan by a name and it comes up, sometimes it doesn’t. Searching for a particular exercise isn’t easy either. The categories don’t always make sense or have a body part even selected so it’s hard to find an exercise if you don’t know it’s exact name. Again, the app is awesome and it’s amazing that it’s free. This is just some wishful feedback.

Great app, could use some improvement. This is probably the best tool out there. I’m a little salty they started charging for All Access which used to include things like meal plans and supplement info for free with the workout. Sometimes I wish they had alternate exercises for people who are injured or don’t have access to all equipment. Sometimes when you click on an exercise to track it it will also give you the wrong way to calculate how long or how much you did so you have to guess. Other than that this is basically my Bible to weight lifting. I highly recommend it for everyone.

Frequent User. I like this app, it helps me stay on track. The thing I like most about this, it is a pocket size fitness journal, where I can track my workouts, and it tracks history. I also enjoy the calendar, where it tells me what workout I have on what day, it just makes it easier and less time consuming to remember:) If you use it for the social aspect, that function does not always work. Sometimes it posts to the firewall, sometimes you can read comments, and other times you can’t. We are all her for different reasons. Happy lifting!

Looking for a start... this is it. This app isn’t going to drag you to the gym, but if you possess the strength and will to get yourself there, this will help you get started. It has everything you need for whatever fitness level you are. It has premade workouts with videos that show you proper form, it has a build your own program for the more advanced it has modifiers If you have some sort of injury... and that’s all just the free app. If you pay a monthly subscription it gives you nutrition and meal plans too. It opens up a “instagram” like area that lets you be a part of a forum that people can encourage you if you need that kind of thing. It tracks your weight history it’s a fantastic app

Great if your workout is already there. This app was awesome at first. Sure it’s missing a few machines I have available at my gym. But overall it’s all there and there are a TON of Bodyspace and User created workouts to follow and track in the app. That being said. If you want to make your own workout or customize another you’re better off getting another app rather than put up with the frustrating way the app handles create-a-workouts. From being unable to do so in the app (you’ll need a pc) to their updates making it even more annoying to the point where you might be better off looking elsewhere. As far as I’ve seen it’s one of the best. But it will never be THE workout app until they fix the customization.

Great fitness motivational/tracking app. First off, I’d like to say this app had been mostly pleasant since I began using it 8 years ago. I have found a system of motivation through the fitness programs found within the app, and I find it easy to stay on track since I am reminded through the body-calendar to hit my workouts each day. Aside from the great fitness features, you can add friends or follow motivational people. Although there are the drawbacks of having creepers from time to time, I have only found that issue to happen once or twice, and it was easy to resolve. Ultimately, it comes with the territory, and I enjoy the social aspect and community that BodySpace has established. Overall, this app does a nice job of helping you track your workouts, find a fitness program to help you on your journey (if needed), and connect with like-minded people in a fit and fun way.

Gr8 App. I love that you can easily track a workout and if you want to do that same workout down the road, you can easily copy it. There’s a multitude of exercises and plans to choose from and it doesn’t matter your current skill level, they’ve got something for everyone. You can also track your progress with specific exercises which is really helpful when you’re wondering if you’re making any progress. I’ve used several apps when it comes to working out and this is by far the best one.

Nothing loads / slow and likely intentional. We enjoy our social fitness app as it was but with the new app being deployed I believe they are ruining this one because it has so much free resource and social connectivity while the other is full of paid programs we aren’t interested in. The programs and workout history aren’t loading anymore, the counters are all blank and even the feed doesn’t load properly tested on multiple devices. Maybe they hoping they will lose enough of a user base on the app no one will bat an eye if they take it down. Disappointed.

Buggy with server connections. I’ve used this app nearly daily for years, logging more than 1200 workouts. I like the database and design workouts on my laptop. The big problem with the app is that when I try to use a custom workout template, I frequently get an error message that these aren’t available - to try again later. If I quit the app and restart it, the custom template is now available. Sometimes it takes multiple restarts. Sometimes it will tell me, “You have no history for this exercise” for something that I’ve done many times. Sometimes it won’t show previous stats for an exercise. Again, quitting and restarting seems to restore these, but it’s very frustrating enough to deduct 3 stars.

Need to integrate Apple Watch. Look, I like this app. I love the database, even if it sometimes needs updates. I love that I can create workouts and plans (on the website) and follow them on my phone. I hate that tracking a workout doesn’t track as an exercise on Apple Watch. I hate that the timer doesn’t ding on my watch like “Strong” does. I hate that I can’t save sets and adjust weights/reps on my watch like Strong. I hate that there isn’t an audible ding in my headphones when the rest timer is up, and that I have to click on the timer on my phone rather than it just stopping and letting me get back to work, thus killing my flow as I have to pickup & open my phone. If y’all could pick up those kinds of things and make this work with Apple Watch, it would be 5 stars all day and I’d consider upgrading. As it is now? Should be 3.5 stars.

Weekly Rep Recap has become pointless. After not working out for a few weeks, I did not get a weekly rep recap for about a month AFTER I started logging workouts again. Not only that, it isn’t even capturing all of the workouts I’ve logged in a week. What gives when all of the data is already there in my workout history?? Individual exercise entries would be much improved if we could save notes/details to them. For example, if I am using a machine with various seat adjustments, I could jot down what those are instead of having to remember them or list them outside of the app. This app is so close to actually being great, but neglect in updates is clearly not helping.

Best workout tracking app, needs these changes:. The Bodyspace iOS app should let me to design and save workout templates and programs just like the website allows. Some exercises such as Weighted Pull-ups need to show previous stats. I should not have to go to my workout history over and over just to view them. All exercises should allow you to make comments on them so you can document how you felt during the lifts or even for reminding yourself about a setting, or a form change, etc. These comments should be visible with previous stats so each workout you can easily look back at your last workout to view weight, reps, and the comments. Everything else is phenomenal about this app. Thanks for hard work and for considering our feedback.

Sad day, had to delete the app. Enjoyed the app for the last 5+ years, had great workouts and really appreciated the variety from which you were able to choose from. Videos were incredibly helpful and ultimately loved the results. Was curious why the constant badgering to refresh and change my password... finally finished my last work out from a 12 week plan and pushed the button....... now it wants me to pay for a subscription.... sorry too many free options out there to pay for this app. Thank you for the last 5+ years and FYI I will also go else where for all of my supplement needs which until today, I ordered from your website. Should have thought of that during your focus group sessions before you tried to pull the old bait-and-switch routine. Wish more people could have benefited from the FREE version, promoted your app to everyone I knew. Keep me posted if you ever return to your previous version!

Crashing A lot Lately and Quality is going downhill. I’ve had this app for over two years and when I first got it- I loved it. Lots of workouts and programs to choose from, with a quite diverse database. However- In the last year it has continuously become more glitchy and less productive. More of the workout programs are wanting you to join the paid subscription. However when I did that- the programs didn’t convert to the app very well. I.e. Hannah Eden’s program. I had to download ANOTHER app to access the videos and then there wasn’t a way to record my workout in the BS app. The app is glitchy and crashes a lot. With increased frequency, I am unable to load the daily program on my app. So here I sit-ready to workout and can’t pull up my workout. Please make some changes. I like the app but am hating the increased headache!!!

Amazing. This app is like having a thousand personal trainers. The network of friends is truly supportive and positive, more than any social media I’m aware of. The app has given me the right amount of motivation to go to the gym (because there’s never a shortage of excuses not to go), and the programs maximize my time there. The app really helped change my lifestyle for the better on all fronts! Just try it. The missing fifth star is for the software not being able to keep up with so many users. A minor inconvenience to not have your previous weights from six months ago or your friend’s comments not load from time to time. Kind of endearing, like the app is run by a couple of dudes in the Midwest. Highly recommended for everyone curious about fitness. From teenager to retiree. From no experience (that was me) to professionals (that answer my questions) it is a great tool.

Great app but needs tech support. The app is great! It gives you the exercises with instructions for each and the ability to log your progress, both in weight progression and in body metrics (body fat, weight, etc). The last star is lacking because the app can get frustrating if you’re trying to get into the customization parts of it. However, the frustration is also felt on the desktop version so it is what it is. The app and desktop version are free and it does a lot more awesome things than not, I’ve recommended this to several friends. Highly recommend. And it’s free so you have nothing to lose!

Too Buggy!. I wish I could give it more stars because of how much freedom it allows the user when it comes to choosing from so many community-created workouts. That itself is such a great, unique feature to have compared to other popular apps. The only thing holding me back from rating it better is one MAJOR flaw, and I need to know from other people if this is happening to them as well. For the life of me I cannot find any other complaints from other people about this issue so it makes me wonder where the source of the problem is. The issue is that literally every single time I get on the app and start searching for anything from a workout to a program I get the error “there was a problem loading templates, please try again later”. NOTHING will load even when I kill the app, delete and reinstall the app, hop off the WiFi, or restart my phone. I would love to hear if other people have experienced this because this app has so much potential, but this literally makes me want to throw my phone against the wall. Dev Team NEEDS to see this review.

Amazing app!. I’m going to go ahead and lay it out right here.. this app is great. I HATE the gym, and the workouts that people have put on here really help me through it every day. I’m a very schedule-oriented person and that’s exactly what this gives me. I was skeptical at first, but as I went through trial and error with different workouts, I began to find ones that I loved. Not only that, but they sent me an email to give me an overview of my previous weeks workout. What muscles I did great on, good on or nothing at all. That’s something I truly value and appreciate, and honesty didn’t expect. (I don’t always read fully what I get, I guess.) I like that there’s a social media aspect to it, but I don’t use that. Keep this app great, please!!!!

Great programs, super buggy. I don’t know how this app has such perfect reviews. The programs are fantastic and provide a great guide to your routine, with videos and step by step workouts. I don’t use the social media aspect, but my workout buddy uses this and has the same issues that I do. You can save your weight and reps on sets, but lately it often isn’t saving in the app if you forget to complete the workout. This may be because the data requires an internet connection, but why not have an option to make it local? The app also doesn’t show your previous day workout weight and reps unless you close out the app and relaunch it. This is a problem when all your tracking data from your current workout can be erased. There’s also no way to pause a program if you choose to only do some of its phases. From the viewpoint of just following workouts, they’re great, but if you can’t properly track your progress then what’s the point?

Time to go back to paper. Honestly, I’ve loved this app. I’ve used it for years with only two complaints: 1. I would like a spot for notes when working out on specific exercises. 2. I’d like a more intuitive way to see previous sets and reps. I think having previous numbers beside your current workout is a better format than having to click into a different window to see previous stats. At this point though, the reliability has become a major issue for this app and website in general to the point where it’s affecting my workouts as I pretty much primarily use this app to track progress. With how inconsistent it has become I think I’m going to have to go back to pen and paper as much as it pains me to say it.

It used to be great...... before they started subscriptions. I used to use this app a lot when i was getting into lifting weights. It was fantastic to work with! The tools they put in place and the helpful tips found throughout the website really helped me get started on my goal to swoleness. So it’s sad to see that when I suggested this same app to a friend I quickly discovered that the same tools I had utilized for free back just a year ago had now been locked behind a paywall. On further inspection, I saw that there were no additional tools to suffice the cost. Plain and simple, this app was perfect when it was free, but I can’t recommend it now that everything is locked behind a pay wall. In fact, i would suggest googling certain workout regiments, like Kris gethins plans, and finding the programs for free cause through a $9 a month subscription is not worth it. I know they’re a business and need to make money, but they have their own clothing, supplements, and other various product lines to generate a sufficient profit, especially with how popular the site has become.

Just awesome. This is an amazing app - I love to use it to plan my programs and track my progress - and to quickly review how to do an exercise since I train by myself and sometimes want to double check that my movement is perfect. I find it highly motivating and much easier to stick to my routine by tracking everything in the app. The only thing: the number of total weight lifted only goes up to 1m lbs (yes, I really use this app all the time). Now it just sits there and I don’t see the progress anymore - please find a way to show the progress past 1m lbs :)

One of the best lifting apps to date. Been using this app for right around 7 years. (on and off, depending on my life choices) Honestly for me has always been a great experience. Has always had a program to help me achieve whatever fitness goals I had. I have always been too lazy to put my own program together and this app is perfect for that! Would recommend to anyone that is trying to find a challenging routine whether you’re an expert weight lifter or beginner. Safe lifting!

Finally A Fitness App To Keep You On Track. I have used this app now for almost a year and I love the mixture of social accountability and trainer programs. I’ve had the opportunity to speak directly to some trainers and get motivation, tips, etc. I do wish there was an Apple Watch app for tracking workouts at the gym. Also, the app continues to improve but there are a few quirky features like trying to reset a program in your calendar, or removing a program and starting a new one. Other than that it’s a fantastic app that has kept me on track to accomplish my fitness goals.

Great for starters. The app is SUPER glitchy at times. It could use a tune up from a techy that knows how to streamline an app. Awesome for keeping track of workouts and weight lifted. The database could use we a tune up as well in regard to searching for workouts. Sometimes the exercises need to be spelled out perfectly. Maybe a search option for keywords to populate exercises similar to the one that was being searched for would help. Also, it would be really nice if the app had the ability to suggest the weight needed for each exercise for the intended rep range based off what was used for the previous lift or similar movements. Kinda stretching for that one, but I’m sure there is someone WAY more educated than me with an algorithm that can solve that with a reasonable percentage difference for a suggested weight for the intended rep range based off a max out of said workout or weight use for similar movements.

Customer service is not great. I had this service for a little while. The app itself is fine. What definitely needs to be worked on is the Customer Service. The emails got annoying so I decided to close my account. After back and forth with customer service to close my account for about a week and a half, customer service finally got me to where I needed to be. Absolutely not a fan of the customer service portion. There needs to be a portal to close the account yourself, or have to ask the app to close your account. Will not be coming back to this service based upon that alone. If you want to be annoyed with emails and frustrated with the customer service portion, this app is definitely for you.

Great app But…. Great app! I’ve been using it for years to help track my workouts, gains and progress and it’s a really really good tool. It’s also a good resource to help you connect with folk who share similar interest. The store is pretty good too. The only reason I can’t give it a 5 start rating is that the exercise database needs to be updated. I’ve had 2 back surgeries and have been forced to adjust my routines through the years and many exercises I do ‘in addition to’ traditional resistance training are not in the DB therefore I can’t track them and get the full overview of the impact of my training. Small thing (I know) but even with that it’s still the best on the market- hands down.

It’s good, but could be better.. I love the BodySpace app. But a few improvements could be made. Right now it’s just slow and acts and looks like it’s dated, another thing that would add is autocorrect to status updates. You guys could definitely make it look more sleek and streamlined, like by putting a “user search” on the bottom menu that could search random people to allow you to see your followers and people you follow. And lastly, more functionality like being able to choose different reactions to other statuses and pictures.

The Best Fitness App. I’ve tried a lot of apps to track my progress and this is by far the best. There are tons of exercises in the library and odds are that that obscure movement you read about in some fitness magazine is in there somewhere. I also like that there are many routines produced by fitness professionals and gym goers alike that you can use as the basis to change up a workout or try something outside of your comfort zone. The integration with the health app is great but I think that we can use a Watch app to quickly log a workout from a program or template.

Great app but... Love this app! Able to track workouts accurately over time and compare to previous results. However, loading photos is a pain, and sometimes with workouts like the sled push, it wants to track your reps and not your weight. You can input the weight still, but the tracking system makes it difficult to see previous results and compare to see if you’re growing stronger. But for being a free app, I can deal with all that. Best app I’ve ever used to help keep me honest in the gym! Still deserves 5 stars in my eyes 👀⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great app with huge potential. I recently downloaded the app again to start a workout program (shortcut to size) and I’m loving the workouts with built in guides. Fairly easy to log, and great timers and tools to help me from getting too distracted at the gym. My main complaints are that it’s ALMOST perfect. It needs some polish in the design to make it easier to see what’s happening, it would be amazing to have it work on Apple Watch so I could leave my phone. The workouts themselves and the logging aesthetic could use a facelift. All daily minor things but they are holding it back from a world class 5* app. I’m hoping they keep updating the design to make it more intuitive and efficient.

Great app. I love there there is a place for like minded people to meet and motivate each other. I can’t do that on any of my other social media accounts. You can be met with a lot of resistance. You can meet like minded people on any fitness level. I’m beginning but there are people who compete. I hate that when I try to upload pictures it won’t let me and I have to log out of the app then get back in to upload. It’s a pain. Still with everything this app offers I wouldn’t take away any stars for such a small issue. I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

A favorite:. As someone who has been focusing on building muscle and/or losing fat, I absolutely adore this app. Yes, it could do with some different updates, a more modern feel (a timer that actually sounds/beeps, not only vibrates) is only one of the few. I've heard that the company is looking into combining all apps. If this happens, please continue to leave Bodyspace as it is now, available to any and everyone, without payment. Being a Stay-at-home Parent, this is only of the very rare and few apps that I have found, that I can utilize without having to pay. Thank you. ☺️

Great App !! Just a little pricey !!. So I really love the app , Just don’t understand why it went from being free to $ 8.99 a month ? I totally use it everyday but it is a bit of a pricey app. It definitely freezes up on me quite often , Not sure how long I will continue to subscribe to the service as there’s so many fitness apps similar to this one. Don’t get me wrong it’s really good , you can find workout programs, get nutrition facts , The BodySpace is my favorite feature , I’ve meet a lot of really cool people that are after the same goals as us! So if you don’t mind paying the $ 8.99 then go for it !!

Few bugs but on whole it’s good.. The app holds up for exercises and searches for programs but if you’re searching other peoples workouts then the app stalls and shuts down causing you to restart at the beginning and having to search again. Some people are great at keeping track of their workouts and you can see which caused the best progress, others don’t and only post pics. If you’re interested in programs that worked for people, it’s awesome to look at the profiles with progress photos and programs they were on while their transformation took place. This app is also great for looking up programs without machines or weights for those who do not have access while traveling.

Best workout app. This is the best workout app that I’ve come across by far. You can download different workout plans and search for certain ones with filters like gender, age, muscle group, intensity and more. You can use other people’s workout plans as templates and adjust them as needed or create your own. The descriptions of the exercises helps beginners to feel more confident about what they are doing. You can put in your own sets and reps along with the weights you used. For cardio workouts such as the elliptical or treadmill you can even go in and add details such as the amount of miles you ran how many calories your burned and your heart rate.

Needs updating.. I always loved this app but I’ve tracked nearly 170 workouts and it’s only gotten worse. More buggy than ever. Half of the time my workouts won’t load. It’s stopped showing my calculated max and previous workout weights. It used to show this cool weekly breakdown and I haven’t gotten one in a year. Rest pause sets never record the pause time. Planks want to record reps instead of time 🤦‍♂️. The workout search bar criteria is horrendous. If you have an extra space in the search bar it will just tell you the exercise is nonexistent. Half of the features don’t work. And you can waste your gym time trying to get it to work. I loved the idea but it’s just sloppy development.

Great tracker. Could use a few tweaks. The app has been fantastic so far. Just noticed a feature that I wish it had but I haven't figured out like changing the order of the program whilst in progress because there had been a few times where I couldn't use an equipment when I wanted so I had to move onto the next one and come back to it. Could be there but I didn't see it. It's great to get programs and track my workouts instead of carrying a paper and pen all the time. Couldn't find a suggestion box in the app but I could just be blind or too tired to notice after my workout.

Great app. Great app, would be nice to have a watch app to track the time between exercises

Excellent for me. I have no issues with stability etc. Well set out and user friendly.

Mixed experience. Pros: - Extensive workout and exercise library - Great workout tracking and history Cons: - Buggy, often can’t create a workout based off previous workouts as they don’t load or sync up - Can’t create our own programs / workout templates—can only use what’s there - Can’t record machine settings used in the app

Great app. I use this app regularly to log workouts. When are you bringing Apple Watch support?

Do not download this app. Have used this up for years, but now it’s just rubbish. It doesn’t show anymore your saved workouts and it doesn’t work properly anymore. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Frustrated!. I love this app, BUT it is letting me down! Lately, the app does not load if I am trying to add a program or track a workout in one of my programs. There is nothing worse than standing in the gym like an idiot looking at your phone while trying to figure out what exercise I should do.

Such a good app. Been using the app for over 120 workouts now and rely on it so much. 10 out of 10

Finally being supported again. Had this app for almost 8 years and it has so much potential but about 5 years ago it stopped being supported so got very buggy as in didn’t record reps or weight and you couldn’t get the history for each exercise. I persevered through with it as it was still doing the rest timers and program layout ok enough. Recently (last 6 months) it has become supported again! And the functionality is back with accuracy in recording past workouts and stability. If this support remains, I definitely recommend this app for beginners through to advanced. Great to have a goal in the gym and this helps support that whatever yours may be.

App is not openinf find a prog not showing the saved prog. App is not working well# I have saved my programms bt its not showing any thing and click is not working on find a prog and other options#please work on it i have saved my programs that i really want

Love this app. This is the first workout app I've had that I truely find has almost everything covered, epic app. Only thing I would like added is a favourite excercise list so you can quickly add excercises simpler.

Best workout app ever. The app is fantastic. Have used it for years and love it. So easy to follow and track a program in the gym. Starting to develop a few bugs. I hope this isn’t getting shut down for there subscription service as this app is great.

Could be awesome. After 4 days of using the app, data from one of my work workouts has already been lost, and now program as incomplete on my program. Really frustrating as tracking workouts is the main purpose of the app...

Loving it. First of all it’s free, then it offers you need to get back at it in the gym and at home. Beautiful app’s experience. Thanks to engineers and the coaches behind the programme

Love it, but some issues. Have used this app for ages, love how I can track my workouts and my improvements. That being said, haven’t been receiving my weekly recaps for a while now...something I used to love, AND a huge issues I have is I can’t look at my workout history. Constantly being told there’s an error in loading and to try again later. Very frustrating when I want to see what I’ve done or retrack an old workout.

Not working anymore. Looking for a better alternative

Workout doesn’t load. I used to love this app ... but in the IOS the workouts don’t load

Terrible - completely useless. This app used to be good, but it’s riddled with errors now and is effectively useless. None of the features around tracking or selecting programs work. The useful mobile function of the app doesn’t work at all. Very disappointing. If the app is no longer updated, remove it from the store and put us out of our misery.

Awesome but no full suppprt to health. Using this app from last 6 years. Awesome app.. only issue it doesn’t give workout data to health app

App. Good

Outstanding app (updates required). The app has been perfect 👌 for tracking workouts, thanks. Lately having trouble with errors within the app, perhaps it needs an update. Over 3 months since last one ☝️ cheers 🍻

Love(d) this app. Great app, love the features but since new IOS is almost unusable with bugs

Good. But can be better. This app is good. Better than other fitness apps I've tried. I particularly like how you can download a whole 12 week program so easily. The photo feature is also good motivation. Saying that there is room for improvement. The calander is not very user friendly. It would be good if I could look at what the workouts are in more detail without tracking them. It would be good if I could upload the program into my phone or work Calander as well.

Jamie Eason plans. This app is awesome for having day by day plans with clear images to follow and to be able to track your progress

History gone. Love this app but over the last few weeks my workout history is broken. Had to enter workouts again manually.

Constantly crashing. Please support this app. It’s fantastic when adequately updated for bugs.

Slooooowww 🐢🐢🐢. Needs an update, app is great but it like using windows XP.

Not able to click on programs. Functionality to search for programs and click on them is not working. No results show up and then nothing happens when you click on them

Pro reliability. App workout history won’t load. Trouble loading feeds, trouble loading pics. Errors on friend requests. I could go on and on... good app let down by these issues

Pretty good. I'm a fan of this app. Program's that can be tracked & dietary ideas. I would have given it 5 stars but the programs on the website are not replicated in the body space app. E.g if you want to do a 12 week program and you select it via the app - you have to read the program on the website first because the website has more detail. The app may detail 30mins of cardio but the website will say the same but with a complete breakdown of intervals and levels that make up that 30 min period.

Great app until lately. Been using this app for 7 years, has been great to track your workouts and assist in choosing workouts and programs. Lately there has been many errors where the programs and workouts aren’t loading. Email updates for how you went in the week are great but haven’t had any emails for that for about 3 months, a bit disappointing. BodySpace has a new app that you have to pay for, probably the reason with all the errors on this one.

Best app for tracking workouts!. I have been using BodySpace since starting my fitness journey in 2015 and I have never looked back. Not enough people know about this app and how good it is! There’s not a lot you have to do as it calculates 1rms and keeps a track of which muscle you have worked out and at how much weight etc. Perfect for anyone from a beginner to a professional bodybuilder. Plus most importantly you can make your own set workouts and plans.

Inspirational. If you don’t have this app are you even serious about your goals? Surround yourself with like minded ppl who lift each other no trolls

Super pumped about this app. BodySpace is a unreal workout tool and is my go to guide as a beginner who is getting to get the results possible. I am able to search and track workouts, view blogs and enter forums and see my progress mapped in a easy to view format. Totally rate this app!

Amazing!. It is an amazing space to keep in whatever shape you desire, physically!

Only ok. Workout history disappears, some videos don't work, previous exercises/weight lifted is gone. App needs a revamp big time. Too clunky and confusing to use, all the money and skilled people BB has and can't produce a better app?!?

Love the App - Interface can be a Touch Confusing. Overall, the app does exactly what I want, though the interface to isn’t the most intuitive. You can get lost trying to figure out where the program you just chose is, where and how it’s starts, that sort of thing. You also have to be careful as there seems to be a few funnels designed to bring you into paid services. Once you get the hang of the navigation, it’s brilliant and motivating.

Number one. I have been used bodyspace for 5 years. It is very cool fitness application ever. Helpful and useful

Insanely good content. The content is amazing the UX & UI needs a tonne of work ….. ironically

Body space App. brilliant, however finding a glitch when someone likes my weight update, when you click on the Notification, through the app the weight shown is a lot lower than my actual weight that is on the screen when I update my weight changes as well as the weight update on the website, these figures are correct, however not on the liked notifications, ie weigh 111, but liked notification shows 54kg, so r people liking 54kg or 111kg???

Think app is not supported anymore. Can’t seem to add any photos etc

Great plans but app is very poor. I have been a longtime user of BodySpace however in the last month the app is running very slow, rashes or doesn’t even load or search. Also lost all history data. Very disappointed as I have been using this app for years

Great App. I have been using the BodySpace app for years and after trying many other apps, this is still my favourite… only one thing, can we please get it compatible for live tracking with Apple Watch?!?! :))

Unresponsive. The app does not allow you to search and start programs.

If your carrying around pen and paper at the gym your doing it wrong!. This app has everything you need. Thousands of programs. Full measurement tracking. Ability to upload and track progress photos. Full social media network for support. Written really well and works with intermittent internet access and the like and recovers well. I have not lost a single tracked rep with the app crashing or losing connection. They even send you weekly reports on ur tracked workouts muscle groups and progress across muscle groups.

My most used app. This app is incredible and powerful. Easy to use. Tracking workouts is awesome and I can plan my workout during the day, build it on the computer and it's ready for me on my phone. My only request would be that the search function on the phone was a bit more flexible in how I can find exercises. Best app I've ever used though. Amazing. And free? Far out

Update throws dates and workouts out.. Edit: Great potential but is probably the most unreliable app I've ever used in terms of showing correct data. Stats from the previous workout are mashed with other workouts and then they disappear when you swipe between workouts. Wish I could export workout plans to another app as this app is useless if you're trying to track your lifts. Since the update all of my dates have been screwed up. I know what workout in a plan I'm meant to be doing but now it's showing a different day to what I'm on. I can't even go back to the previous day and select the workout that I should be doing. Now with that update I have several "no workout" days because the app doesn't mark it as completed even though the workout was completed. Pretty disappointed because I feel like I've lost a lot of data.

Fix it!!. Fix it!!! So unreliable and my workouts are t loading so i can have to screen shot from the web page my programme

Good app. No need payment plan it’s a magic app tho

Bugging out. I have had this app for years and more recently it is unable load previous workouts, load comments, load notifications. Have deleted & downloaded again & again it hasn’t made any difference. Would love to hear if it’s being addressed

Crashes constantly, doesn't load. This app used to be great and reliable. Used it daily for my custom workouts. Since the update to iOS13, it crashes and fails to load anything.

Best workout app. I love the simplicity and how can easily have access to numerous exercises with video demonstration. Big thumbs up

App crashes frequently and fails to load. Been using this app for years and it’s always been a little flakey. Used it on multiple iPhones and iPads all with the same results. Works great when it loads and works but frustrating to have to keep closing it and reopening it for it to load pst data.

Unable to load saved programs. Good when it works but Unable to load saved programs happens a lot.

Easy and motivating. Extremely easy to use, and sends you weekly reports of your activity including how many days of the week you worked out, any personal records, and a visual of the muscle groups you targeted. I just wish that they would add yoga to their exercise list just so I can see/track that I worked out that day.

Used to be my go to. This APP has been everything to my workouts. Since the last iOS update it’s been flaky at best. Can’t load any historical data and I have a lot of valuable information in here. Suspect they stopped supporting this app in light of a newer $$ version.

Good fitness app. I’ve been using for about 5 years. It good for tracking but would like to see the fitness library expanded with more. It used to have a messenger but was removed, it would be nice to see it back to promote more community.

What happened??. This app used to be great. What happened? Almost impossible to load your saved templates without getting an error message. Then if you are lucky enough to get into your templates and you click on a workout, that screen usually give an error. Forget trying to look at the stats of the previous workout because that doesn’t load either.

Used to be amazing. They have not updated in over a year. The app is severely broken and it doesn’t look like they care to fix. Download one of the many other fitness apps.

Not anymore. Used to use the app all the time. Loved the breakdown emails. But don’t wanna mess around with an app that doesn’t work properly when trying to train. And all the custom functions I needed don’t seem to exist anymore. Went from a must have to a can’t use. Why can’t I customize exercises anymore, or even find the ones I already have? Your database doesn’t have the exercises I do. Or create workout templates anymore? People use the app for years then this happens. Very frustrating

It’s free!. For an app that offers thousands of workouts to follow, and keeps track of your progress for zero dollars…this app is amazing.

Useful. The best app ever. No ad no creep

Extremely helpful. Extremely helpful app to track your workouts plus it’s free. A lot of workouts to choose from. One flaw that I see is the rest timer, it doesn’t give you an alarm when the rest timer is done.

Weekly Rep Recap. I’ve been using this app for a lot of years, ended up getting locked out of my old account, not the biggest deal, made a new one so I could continue tracking my workouts. What I liked best about the app was the weekly re caps that I was receiving, I’ve noticed that those have stopped since November. Hopefully this is something that can be brought back, or is there a paid version that supports this feature? I’ll still continue to track with this app, however I miss those darn weekly re caps!

Garbage!!. This app use to be great but now my workout history won’t load and I can’t track workouts! I’ll find another app!!

USED TO BE. This app was awesome when i started 2015 tracking, and i am sure it was great even before my usage time—in 2015 i got so into lifting that it was a one stop shop- bought the monthly workout plans and bought supplements from bodybuilding.com- after 2018/2019 things started to go downhill. Not only glitches, but the amount of creeps in the forum. Fast forward 2022/2023- spamming (political, religious etc) has become the main theme, non fitness related and no moderators to help. I am surprised bodybuilding.com has affiliations with this app still. Bodybuilding.com i have a tip- shut bodyspace down! - i am sure its not generating any revenue and you are destroying your brand.

Crashes too often. Been using for years, great for tracking workouts but it keeps crashing lately. Very frustrating

Great fitness diary. Amazing programs for anyone with any goal, love the fact you can follow others on their journey. Strongly recommend to anyone either just starting out or just wanting to track their workouts. Amazing to look back at how far you come. Great programs and very user friendly

Spam emails constantly. While this is an excellent app for workouts the experience is brought way down because of all the spam emails they send. I have my settings set to not receive emails and have even contacted them about this yet still spam, spam and more spam. Was happy but now very annoyed and disappointed.

Previous stats not loading. This app is usually great. But today November 11th, the previous stats are not loading. Please update and fix.

Doesn’t open programs. This used to be a good app. Since last IOS update I am unable to open any workout programs. The app no longer works.

Not working anymore. Some reason for the past week or so it won’t send notifications in app saying I have likes or comments last notification in the app I got was like march 16 yet people are louring likes and comments on my pictures …? Kinda annoying

4/5 ⭐️. I’ve been using this app religiously for years to track and I’ve referred many others to it!! Id give it 5 ⭐️s if the Weekly Recap Report returned! This Report was priceless for activity with data on body parts that breed more work etcetera. Please bring this back as it’s been 5 months.

Need some fixing. Awesome app for working out but it just needs some bug fixes, the app crashes quite a bit and I’m finding myself closing and reopening the app like 10 times in one go with it, it can get very ridiculous so for the future please fix, other than that amazing app.

Broken. App seems to be broken. Most pages don’t load. Doesn’t update my Health App or Vice Versa

App does not load any programs. App is now broken

Lacks iWatch compatibility. The app works great, I have no issue with the app itself. But I think BodySpace could take their app to a whole new level of user experience if we could track work outs on our iWatch or fit bit. This would eliminate the need to pack a phone into the gym…just sayin! Cheers!

Best app out there. Been using it for 767 workouts and 23,000,000 lbs. Likely the weekly summary.

Abandoned App. This used to be my favourite app for tracking workouts. Since launching BodyFit (a subscription based app) this app has been crashing, not recording workouts, won’t show previous stats. DO NOT DOWNLOAD

Was great. It was great, but now it doesn’t load any of your workouts

WAS a great app. Seems like they must have stopped supporting the app. It’s buggy as hell on iPhone 8. Most of my program doesn’t show any exercises and sporadically one will show wrong exercises. 90% of the time I can’t get my program to load and have to kill the app and go back in a half dozen times before I can get something to load. I’ve given up on these guys - I used to use this app a lot and really liked it. Now it takes more time trying to get it to load than my workout takes

Great app. Extremely useful for tracking your workouts and for creating new plans. Especially if you don’t like carrying pen and paper to the gym.

App is broken feb 2020. App is broken. Can’t see any programs. Join programs. Can’t see past workouts. Workout history. Past programs. App is completely broken.

Amazing - and fixed. THANK YOU for finally updating and fixing this app! Always loved it and now it’s usable again 💪🏽

Great app. This is probably the best app I have seen. Works great with the All Access. Would be great if they would sync together but not a show stopper. I like the way it keeps record of last weights used for an exercise regardless of the program you are using.

Body Space. Love this app. I‘ve been using it for years. I love that it keeps track of the weigh used in the last session and times rest breaks. Very convenient

Using since 2017 great app. Been using for 5+ yrs. Great app! I am intermediate advanced level bodybuilder

Useless. This use to be a good app not any longer. Programs aren’t appearing, tracked workouts aren’t logging. Tech support doesn’t respond to your emails. Don’t waste your time.

App used to be perfect.... This app was absolutely perfect a few months ago, had everything you could ever need to track your workouts.. Now to come back to see it is now a paid subscription is a massive joke. Don’t tell me I’ll like what you have to offer, I’ll never pay. What a joke...

Where’s Canada in location???. Can’t buy a subscription in Canada. (Location does not have Canada when signing up for subscription)

Workout tracking not working since iOS 13. App is useless since iOS 13 can’t track workout. Heard it is an issue with iOS 13 and network. Hopefully this gets resolved ASAP

Workouts dont sync. Been using this app forever. It’s usually great but recently the workouts have stopped syncing. You cant see what you did or repeat it. It’s Bs. Please fix

Connectivity. I really used to love this app, until I started having connectivity problem a few months ago. Now I can’t upload any of my saved templates unless I’m connected to wifi. I have data on my phone but for some reason can not access any templates. FIX PLEASE.

Bugs in the plateform.... I used to love the app, bit with apple it dosn’t work with ios more then 11,4 I have the 14.something.... so its always bugging so sad I loved it ... I wish you could fix the problem...

Worthless and annoying now. This app was great a while back but now I’m lucky if it loads any previous data at all. Won’t load previous workouts or stats, blank dashboards, endless error messages, save rest timer doesn’t work and you have to set it before each session if you don’t use the standard 45 sec. rest time, previous workouts show up blank, you name it - it’s all garbage now.

Fixe the bugs. Why is the application always saying try again later everytime i try something, or look at something or notifications or add a picture... always a red box showing unavailable to ... try again later and it never ever works....

To get developers attention. Used to be great. My acount is loaded with previous workouts that i cannot have access to now because of the new iOS update. Please fix ASAP

Accessibility. The app is quite well put together. Great resource, but could use some streamlined actions or “grouping” actions. Does have some issues when using Data over WiFi at times, which can be alleviated by logging in and out. Use it all the time when lifting to ensure good posture for the right exercise and trying new ones. Would like to see other muscles represented for specific targets.

Not working anymore!. Used to work but was flaky. Now it’s unusable. No access to history and frequent error messages related to connectivity.

Useful app. Extremely good app. However it bugs often. If not I would rate it 5 stars.

Decent app with a lot of potential. Really love that you can find certain workouts and track them. Eliminating the use of bringing a physical journal into the gym. Also you can click a link that sends you to the supplement store if you ever need to purchase on the go. Would like them to have more customization when possibly doing a program that asks to do squats and instead I do leg press that I could add that in so next time I do legs I remember I did leg press and the weight. Overall a very nice reliable app to track your fitness goals.

Best fitness app yet. 4 out of 5 due to a bit of UI clunkiness but it’s honestly the best workout tracker I’ve used yet. Plug and play workout programs that allow customization and calendar tracking. It’s a great all-in-one fitness app for anyone looking to track their fitness transformations! A Primary improvement that could be made is making commenting and genera post locations more obvious. For example, where to submit photos for the #BBcomChallengeSeries was not easy to find.

Great App. For someone just getting into the gym not knowing much about working out this app is the perfect companion. It allows me to have my own personal trainer in my pocket. Instead of doing random workouts to try and gain muscle you can use a program that tells you exactly what workouts to do each day as well as sets and reps of them too. No complaints about the app and I would recommend it to anybody!

WAS good, now ok at best. App used to load previous workout reps and weight which is key to tracking your progress. Now previous workouts don’t show up 90% of the time. Since bodybuilding dot com added a premium option to their website, things have fallen off everywhere else. They had a beautiful biz model of providing a ton of free content in exchange for a huge customer base to market their products to. It seems that they got greedy and added a monthly paid premium option for their top content and honestly everything has changed for the worse since then. BB, please update your app and return to your former biz model.

Excellent App. With all the apps out there, many require paid subscriptions. This app is great for providing the user with many free workout plans. Have honestly cycled through many because I can’t figure out which one I like best! But overall, great for exercise selection, workout progression, and tracking! Definitely recommend

DOWNLOAD IT you won't be dissapointed!!. I want to start out by saying, I had this app about a year ago and it was glitchy, I tried it again a few weeks ago and they fixed it!!! I've been in the gym for a few years and this apps great wether you're nEw to the gym or an experienced lifter. It's awesome that you can search by muscle group/type of workout/or type of machine you use. The community on here is so uplifting and encouraging! It's awesome to exchange tips/motivation with the ladies and gents on here! I get a slightly creepy dude every once in a while but they're easy to block. Favorite gym app!!!

Needs updates!!. The concept of this app is great, I’ve been using it for a few years now. But lately it has been very buggy, I often am unable to view previous workouts or start new programs. I kill the app and reopen multiple times during a workout and it is very frustrating. The search feature is also not great, if you don’t type exactly how it shows in the app then it can’t find it. For example, if I type “seated row” nothing comes up, but if I type “seated cable row” then it shows up. So you have to know exactly how it appears in the app or you will never be able to find it. I love the app, but it is in desperate need of updates.

BodySpace everyday. Love the app and the community is great too. Articles and forums and a fit board that allows you to post your own feed. It has everything including exercise tutorials and a space to keep track of progress made whether it’s strength or body goals and you can upload selfies for yourself or to post to others.

Improvement needed. Like the app but during the rest period I can’t scroll to the next exercise to set up the next station, so it takes longer then the suggested rest time for me to start the next set. Also, more functionality with the Apple Watch is needed. With the AirPods I don’t need to carry my phone during my workout which is convenient. But because, other then reminding you to start the next set, the program doesn’t interact with the watch at all I have to still carry my phone.

Glitches. Good app when it works.. BodySpace has a lot of glitches, and it can be clunky, but the idea behind it is awesome. I love tracking my workouts, connecting with other people on their fitness journeys, and finding motivation through the variety of program options. However, I do get frustrated by the error messages, the strange autocorrect, having to modify my timer settings each time I work out, and the inability to edit a post after it has been sent. It would also be nice to scroll through my feed between sets without having to exit my workout entirely. In spite of all that, I believe it’s the best fitness app out there.

A love/hate relationship!. While I use this app EVERYDAY and I thoroughly enjoy using it... I also thoroughly HATE IT! It’s absolutely buggy as “all git out.” When I switch between apps it shuts down and I have to reopen it. 75% of the time my workout history doesn’t show up. I’ve deleted and reloaded and I’ve done everything I can do and I don’t want to lose YEARS worth of history by switching to a different app! I’ve also noticed there are workouts that are not in the data base, dumbbell squeeze anyone? PLEASE, unbreak my heart and fix my favorite fitness app ever!!!!!

Three and a half stars. I’d give it three and a half stars if I could, but for a free app it’s great. Building a workout takes a bit of patience and starts the time of the workout when you start building it. I’d rather have a section to be able to build workouts and save them, then go and do the workout which would start the time. It would also be easier to repeat workouts at a later date than scrolling through a months worth of workouts looking for what I want to do again. It would also be nice if I could input an inventory of what equipment that I have and it could suggest possible preprogrammed plans that would work. The team at BodySpace is doing great things though and over the years the app has indeed improved.

Thanks for botching my kickoff into health. Thanks for nothing. Spend 3 days preparing for my new training regimen, I won’t even go into detail here how much that requires. Only to get into the gym in the morning and the program I’ve built in the app won’t load, tracking won’t load, nothing works. Blank pages. Spent my first 30min in the gym trying to access my workout. Deleted and reinstalled the app, etc. Now have to wing it, without tracking, thanks for wasting my very important f’ing time. Guess tonight will be spent looking for a fitness tracker I can depend on ..yes I have perfect signal, everything else on my phone works just fine, it’s only your app

Needs serious IT attention. The app use to be great, you could log workouts, message friends, and really find great connections with people but for over a year now the app has been completely bugged. They removed a lot of the benefits from the app and now most people can’t even see what they’ve posted themselves much less what other post. I would say it needs to be fixed but some of these issues have been going on for over a year and doesn’t seem like they are interested in fixing them, but instead they will suggest you pay for subscription which to me seems counterproductive. Maybe one day it will return to its former glory until then I guess it’s bye bye bodyspace.

Amazing app, just needs Apple Watch compatibility. I absolutely LOVE this app. I love the tracking and the social networking side of it as well. I’ve used this app approximately 410 times and it has just about every exercise I do. There have been a few times where I’ve tried to view previous stats and they didn’t load but technically that’s the only real problem that takes from my workout. I would also love to see this app on an Apple Watch, hopefully they’re working on that.

Great App!! 💪🏽. This is a good app that allows you to track bodybuilding workouts with ease. It has the set types that you would normally do and making super/giants sets easy!! Not to mention all the programs that are offered. But you can track and make your own. This app being combined with a Social platform allows motivation to go through the roof! Can be a little glitchy here and there but nothing an update can’t fix! Highly recommend getting this app to make tracking your workouts, weight, gains a lot easier!!

Love it!. I love this app and the workouts you can find here. It’s like having a personal trainer in your pocket. My only issue is about the impossible task of adding different exercises to existing programs. I want to be able to track the additional ab workouts that I do whenever I’m on a program, but it is impossible to find the exact name of certain exercises or machines. I’ve been able to increase my strength and keep consistent on my routine with this app, so please make it easier to track everything!

Effective. I really like the ability to create and track workouts. I wish there were more professional workouts on here, it seems like any ol person can upload a workout for all to see, great but I like science based workouts. I think if I paid for the upgraded version I would have more selection. For now great app that allows me to create and track my own progress. Not sure why it has posts like Facebook or something, as if the world needs more places to share with the world..

Motivated. This will help you to stay on track on your fitness Journey and to not drop the ball on your exercise routine, I recommend posting photos before the journey and along the progress this way you motivate people who are going through the same journey plus speaking for my self it will keep me in check and day by day trying and pushing myself to improve the progress photo.

Suits It’s Purpose. Building your own workout is great. I love the way I can track history from when I first started until now. Socialization features are subpar because it’s 2018 you guys can improve upon the system you already have. The new $8.99 fee for professional programs is the only thing I really dislike but I understand the need to charge. I am just not paying for it. Too much information is already available for free.

Great app but needs better user interface.. The app is great but it took me a couple of times to figure out how to configure predetermined workouts made by other people to fit my schedule. To date I don’t think there are ways to change workout days from working out to rest days other than skipping them and then going back to them. Also the database has a lot of exercises but there are a lot that could be added. Also maybe add a function where users could enter their own exercises instead of the ones preloaded in the database.

Love this App. First I love that the workout database is FREE! And then you have all the workout trainers and the free programs and diets and the list just keeps going. I love the videos that demonstrate proper form and how a specific movement should be done and what muscle group is targeted. This app is the best I have found and has everything I need to keep up a good workout without worrying about a plateau from repeated movements or workouts. Thank you BodySpace!

Please fix the bugs. Used to love this app but in the past year or so it has gotten incredibly clunky and outdated. It rarely loads workout templates or previous workouts, and sometimes fails to save workouts altogether. I have grown so used to seeing “Notice: there was a problem loading templates. Please try again later” that I’ve all but given up tracking my workouts and body stats here, opting almost entire for Strava and other fitness apps instead. The social media feed and Fitboard features also need improvement.

Best Workout Tracker App... when it works. So I used to use this to build my weekly workouts and once use another trainers routine. I loved it for 2 years and the community is great. I noticed last year I have been getting issues logging in or getting my workouts to load. It’s been like that this year so I’ve just not bothered. I hope the bug is fix as I am deleting the app and re-loading. Also the store is great, amazing deals, just make sure you do your research and review other people’s reviews.

Is this even supported anymore?. Remember several issues when I used it 8 years ago. Now, if you have any exercises with compound sets (drop, rest-pause, etc.) it just won’t save. Won’t save the pause duration on rest pauses, but mostly it won’t save that entire exercise. Which means it doesn’t save the routine for the day. Wouldn’t be a problem if historical tracking didn’t matter but it kind of does. No bug reporting through the app or website, either. Abysmal, really. Which is sad, because the exercise data base and videos are really expansive and helpful.

Working hard and hardly working. This app allows me to find and track workouts for what ever shape or fitness level I am at the time. No constant reminders to do this or that. Just jump right back in where you stopped the last set of work outs and you’re ready to go. Great app that was recommended by a friend and I’ve used it on and off for about 3 years.

Decent App. Overall, I like this app. I like the fact that it is preloaded with so many workout routines. It is a very good app accountability and encouragement. I think it has ongoing glitches which is why I only give it three stars. Sometimes my workouts don't post. I can't take a picture in the app. I know I've given the app permission and access to my camera. The calendar and tracking could be more user-friendly. There are other little things too. Hopefully there are changes for the better in the future and I can change my rating.

So great for tracking. This app makes it so easy to track your workouts and your progress week to week. It also has a bunch of great info and people to help you along the way. One of the best things about the app is when that while you are tracking exercises, it will give you a rest timer and then send you push notifications when you are waiting to long to put up the next set, it keeps me motivated at the gym.

Great app with many programs loaded. I found the program I wanted was already loaded by another user so I didn’t have to input everything myself, it was already there. Wish I could swap out exercises as I’m doing them though… I just made a note of the swap instead, not the same. Still better than the pain of trying to create a workout in the app.

Good, but needs Watch support. Great variety of workouts and fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it, but DESPERATELY needs an Apple Watch version. The watch version would make logging your reps/sets so much easier, tell you when your rest period is over with a quick vibration, could integrate HR, and maybe even track reps for upper body exercises (I.e. biceps curls) itself! No more pulling your phone out of your pocket after every set to log your weight & reps, then again to turn off the timer, etc etc. PLEASE MAKE A WATCH APP

Great App. I love this app. I like that I can view short videos of how to complete each move & that I can follow workouts or create my own custom workout. What could use improvement is the workout search- it would be nice to save filters so it’s easy to enter a muscle group and it save your search so it’s easy to go back to instead of having to re-enter after adding workout on create as you go.

Nice app, wishing for Apple Watch app. I’ve used this app for more than a year. I like the provided workouts and the way the logging works when you’re in the gym. That requires the phone. Now that the Apple Watch has music streaming without the phone, this app is the last barrier lift without a phone to move around the gym. Im always sitting it on the floor, equipment, forgetting and walking back to find it. The strong app has an Apple Watch app. I will check it out.

Great app to learn from other people who have the passion for working out. Love the app and I would like to thank body space cause I met my girlfriend on the site and she will be my future wife and I can’t think body space enough for finding my soulmate it’s not a dating site but you meet awesome people and I guess I got lucky by finding her here and I’m a happy happy man these days for that so if I can rate it 4 million stars I would lol

Best exercise tracking. I love that I can create custom workouts and programs. The tracking of workouts is also very well designed. Great work on this app. Time to add Apple Watch tracking so I can leave my phone at home I would also like to add my workout times to my outlook calendar, so I can time block workouts in my daily schedule.

Love/Hate Relationship (but mostly love). I love this app for the exercises and for what it has done to my body! Completely changed my shape and got me looking right. However, the app needs some work. Sometimes, it won’t load and you have to close the app multiple times before it starts to work. It didn’t use to be this bad and has gotten worse. If they could just fix that issue the app would be awesome! It’s a little hard to work at first but if you keep with it you can figure it out.

Work out progress. Ability to track work outs and push yourself a little harder based on previous numbers is great! For a free app, no complaints. Only caveat, when tracking drop sets the app will state that the exercise is not complete even when you’ve finished... but not a true problem as you can just click next exercise.

Love! easy to use and get results. I love love love this app. I started using it as a beginner and not knowing anything about weight lifting. The app provides easy to follow steps on how to perform each movement and what the proper form is for each. That’s very helpful to prevent injury and to get results. I also love that there are plenty of easy to follow programs or a huge database of exercises if u want to create ur own workout plan. I can’t find any fault with the app.

It could be better. The community on there is existing with zero interaction from each other, having a profile is pointless. The body updates are nice, shows if you need to go heavy in certain areas if you had a light workout that week. I may have experienced technical issues because I stopped getting updates, it made me lost interest in using the app for direction. I deleted the app and will be trying something else.

Overall a great app. Love this app, it’s the only one I’ve consistently wanted to use to track my workouts for the past three years. Only reason I’m giving it four starts instead of five is because I would really love for it to have an Apple Watch app to log workouts as well as track calories so I don’t have to start a separate workout on the watch. I also wish you could add exercises to the database that aren’t already in there.

Subscription stinks!. I’ve lost over 40 lbs and changed my life using workouts from Kris Gethin and Jim Stoppani thru the BodySpace app. I recommend it to everyone I see that wants to workout but doesn’t know what to do. Now, however, they want to charge a monthly rate for the same content I’ve used for years! I get that if you want to monetize charging for the new content from here on out, but I can’t follow a workout I did years ago anymore without paying a subscription. I would gladly pay a one-time fee for the app but I have too many subscriptions in my life and I don’t want to pay for content I previously used for free.

Good record keeper, but lacking. I essentially use this as a way to keep track of my reps and weight each workout. Main problem is the ability to see previous workout reps and weights is temperamental, but I’m not sure if it’s because of my internet. Such information should be enabled to be stored on the device it was recorded on. Also, certain exercises like sit ups and pushups cannot have their reps history stored. It’s just numbers, that shouldn’t be too hard to record. Good record keeping and workout organizing app, but more could be done.

Almost ideal application. Out of many excessive tracking apps I’ve tried this one is the best so far. The major reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is navigation issue. When I’ve started using it I couldn’t figure out how to track my exercise. I thought I’m crazy, but when I asked my friend who referred me to this app she said the same thing. Now that I’ve used it for a while it is easy, but for some reason in the beginning it was confusing

Amazing Weight Training Aide. This does so much more than I expected. Currently am working under a previous program but will begin what seems to be a detailed program using this app once I complete the one I'm on. This app gives instructions for exercise types, checklists, tracks weight, tracks progress, and links with Apple Health. I can learn from new friends on this app as well. Highly recommend this app for weight training!

Used to work. This app was awesome for years. I never had any issues. Now you cannot make comments or look at comments. It notifies you that someone made a comment and you go to check it and nothing’s there. It always says to try back later. It doesn’t always load your past workouts. So you have to start from scratch almost every workout. Now you want me to pay for workouts for free? I would but if the app doesn’t work now like it used to why would I want to spend money on something that doesn’t work. I used this for app for ten years. Not to much anymore.

Great app. This app is awesome, and it’s free as far as I can tell. It’s an exercise database, with video explanation of the workouts. It also allows you to follow workout programs set by other users and trainers, these plans often include a nutritional component, and you have a little experience and knowledge with fitness this app is all you need to get on target with your fitness goals. A couple things I would change in the app 1. Allow offline downloads of instructional videos 2. Provide an audible alert when its time to do the next set, or when you get to a high point in your work out, or when your heart rate is in that high energy biting zone. These are why I am only giving it four stars. Other than those things, the app is darn near perfection.

Delete programs. Absolutely love this app!! Only issue is I accidentally added the same program three times on different days so when I go to pick up where I left off I have to remember which one I’m actually working off of which gets confusing easily. Should be able to delete a program with just a swipe! Other than that, I love the reports they email every week and it’s such an easy way to keep track of weight and reps I used last so I’m always pushing myself to go harder and heavier.

The worst workout app on the market. If you have an internet connection that isn’t perfect, this app is extremely frustrating. I’ve been using it for about 4 years and initially liked picking workout plans and the weekly review feature. After 4 years of getting abused by this terrible app I finally went with another app which is 100 times better. To get to workouts with this app took forever to load if it loaded at all. Maybe, I thought, it was the internet connection! Not at all. All the websites worked and the internet was not the problem. This app is the opposite of user friendly.

It is what you make it. I think this app is very useful for tracking time, gains, weights loss etc. I especially love giving people positive feedback, as I like getting positive feedback from some of the muscle heads using the app as well. If you are a nice person a make friends with other like minded people, this app can take over your life. Truly I don't even use Facebook anymore. I just want to get back into the gym and prove to myself I got what it takes. 5 star all the way around.

Workout not being saved.. I don't know if there is a bug in the new update but most of my workout has not been saved. Everytime I want to check my previous workout I keep getting 'there is not history for this exercise' when I have been doing the same exercise for 12 weeks. Why is that. I can't see my 1-rm. I am using Excel and other apps for until there is a fix. An another thing, why is the rest time count is not vibrating to the time is set it for, only 45 seconds. Where is the song we use to had before at the end to the count down. Help me out.
