Meh. I wanted to like it but it is just soooo repetitive and quite honestly boring. Couple that with maybe the worst inventory management system I’ve ever seen and I had it uninstalled after a couple of hours of messing around with it.

Best Swords and Sandal IOS game. So good, would be better if it would just cut out night fighting. just get rid of the time system at all tbh, everytime I go to my inventory, the game makes it 1 am heavy rain, and i then have to fight in pitch black. i dont see anything, its really annoying. pls fix, tho so fun worth it even w that.

Developer Please Fix This. I play on a iPhone 13 Pro and it’s not in full screen there are little black bars on the sides, and there’s no option to make it cover the whole screen which makes everything a little smaller and harder to read. This is literally the only app I ever downloaded that has had this problem. If this was fixed I’d play everyday but it is just annoying.

Better than I thought and ik it was a SAS 3 type game. Just beat it for the first time thinking it was gonna be a cake-walk. You almost fooled me with how easy the early-mid game is too I set everyone to tough, and barely scraped by at the end, I only won because I was careful not to waste time. Though I did close the phone over 100 times when stuck on bosses. I was too determined to win and without spoilers, the ending was amazing! My character? A 200 strength evil skeleton fighter. Been following this tradition since SAS 1. Bugs - Ghost strike sometimes doesn’t teleport back, I think it’s more frequent when using colossal. - it’s rare but both player and foe get a free turn once in a blue moon. - idk if it’s intentional or not, but I think the stun from warfare tree actually stacks with the smash skills, if so that’s pretty cool. -you can’t throw dual swords? Criticism - some stats could be a bit more descriptive, it would help to display mana cost and cooldown of skills before buying it. - the new armor system could use a tutorial, the most confusing part was how dash targets armor like skills do. Questions - Did Charlie participate in the heavy metal gladiator music or did he just say “RAAUGH!” - I’m wondering what the max damage boost is for paladin/dark paladin passive, and the boost for holy weapons and armor. Final thoughts I can’t say enough how enjoyable this was start to finish and I have decent gaming standards. I was looking for something on par with EBF5 by another flash veteran and had no hope since most mobile games are p2w garbage. I fully expected this to reflect the standard steam prices too, that’s why I’m so late. Normally I can’t afford your games. So glad you got what’s rightfully yours from fizzy. This was really inspiring how you made a masterpiece while raising a family. The art’s richer, the metal’s heavier, and the gameplay’s showing off to a couple friends (especially now that it’s mobile).

An Ugly Masterpiece. The first thing you’ll notice are the flash sprites, which means janky limb movement in a fighting game. I find the game art charming as it reminds me of newgrounds, where I believe this game originated. My god, does their experience show. They’ve made an incredible F2P Gladiator RPG with loads of content and extensive replayability all available to you from the start. ADs are short and infrequent, and can be removed for $0.99. If you are at all interested in the idea of a Gladiator RPG, play this game and maybe even give these people your money. They freaking deserve it!

This is a really cool game. Just gonna keep this short, been playing for a couple days now and this game is really cool.

I think the shackelford boss is bugged. Everything on YouTube shows his stats way lower then what they are, and I’m on normal mode, so I think his stats are bugged

It’d be fun if it worked.. Many, many issues in this game. -Your game can become bugged and stuck on infinite load screens, forcing you to restart the entire game as it corrupts your save. -Night time is pitch black, literally. You won’t see anything. -Cheap Unity Marketplace assets everywhere in this game. -World map clearly made with stock, default Wonderdraft assets. -Store options are overlapped by the iPhones “swipe up” white bar making it near impossible to click on them Overall the game could be fun but it’s got a lot of issues.

Actually beat the game and just disappointed. Theres barely any replayability as it takes a gruesome grind just to get the end. The game barely tells you what to do for an end goal besides “prepare for final boss in x amount of days” that isnt hidden in the the rushed text dialogue, even though I defeated the person that took my place to fight the final boss. That killed all my motivation to do another character. I will give credit with all the ads being short but they seem to frequent after almost every fight if you start 1 shotting enemies even tho grinding lower level enemies is almost a must. Difficulty is a whole other issue with random bosses depending on your playstyle will just be almost unbeatable even if youre several levels and power above them. It makes you build your character off whatever boss youre stuck on, having to waste level up points on ways to counter the boss instead of being able to focus on your own build which the games tries to incentivize. The town events dont change so after the first playthrough youll know which options to pick every time as most of the town adventures have choices between lose stats or gain stats with the occasional lower level gear you can get. Dont even get me started on the hit chance mechanic as some bosses unless youre super over leveled will be a struggle to hit if the game has them set up that way. Theres a lot more smaller issues but I just wouldnt recommend this to anyone that isnt already a fan of swords and sandals as a newcomer to the series myself. The foundation for something good is there, just needs less focus on padding out playtime.

As close as you can get. This game is functionally the exact same game that I’d assume we all grew up with. The main screen U.I. is different from the original game but the fights are the same and the armor and weapons work the exact same way. I really enjoy this game and am so glad that there’s a replacement for the flash game

Easily one of the worst games I’ve ever played. The game is so slow and you have to watch and ad at every turn. The fighting mechanics make absolutely no sense and there’s no tutorial to help you out.

Good could be great. This game is so addicting, I spent the past week playing hours everyday. There is so much replay value with different classes and weapons. However, I have noticed bugs and issues with the game that can’t be overlooked. The most pressing issue being the star system, by late game stars become extremely tedious to obtain. Stars are needed for a lot of things including learning new skills and participating in dungeons. The game becomes repetitive and less enjoyable especially since I cannot learn new skills to try and I can’t even beat the game without completing the dungeons.
