Very fun. Some minor bugs.. Had to hard quit the game after every arena battle when I had ads. Doesn’t get boring very quickly

Love it! But I’m poor. The game is amazing! A walk through memory lane and is better than I remembered. tons of fun and worth it in the long run. I myself can’t afford to buy the whole thing so I’m stuck with the demo but to the rest of you reading this I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUYING IT because the challenge is fun and makes you think your fights and dungeon crawls more as well as the many MANY things to buy and collect there’s never a dull moment in this game of chance! Maybe I can one day afford it but for now I’ll just replay the demo over and over

Too much health regen. Wanted to get into this played sas since I was a kid. Started an archer and it’s impossible because they’re ranged only. Bought the full version of the game made another character after giving up on the archer and the first fight is over 300 turns now because they set the health regeneration so high.

Dungeon door glitch. I enjoy the game, but it’s absolutely Firestone in the dungeons when sometimes the squares just can’t be clicked. I’ve tried everything, and just some levels I can’t go deeper because it can’t click on the door. I’d love if y’all could work on that

Shouldn't be released yet. Homestly, this game is just S&S2 with two extra, extremely bland and buggy gamemodes. It needs much more content and fixes for it to even be considered a stand-alone game. Don't get me wrong, S&S2 was great, but I'm wishing I didn't buy it twice.

Extremely boring. Spent over 30 minutes trying to find rats for the 2nd quest really boring don’t waste yo time

This game is good but one thing prevents me from playing it anymore. I cannot tell u how many infinite fights I’ve gotten stuck on because they regen health like tf dude why is that even a game feature and it force closes as soon as I click start on some right but for the most part this game is fire

Sentinal rooms. Room 5,10,15 are boss rooms in the dungeons. 3 times now when i go into the room the lever spawns underneath the boss. So when i move there it only give me the option to switch the lever, which i cant do until i kill the boss. But it wont let me agro onto the boss because the switch is there. So im just stuck. Please fix this. I love this game played it when i was a kid so happy its on here, spent the money to play it more just nneed this fixed

Like it but not like it! Needs update. I hate the dungeon darkness! I couldn’t see anything! I want an update where the dungeon darkness is removed! PLEASE make that happen or I can’t even get past the first arena! 😢

Paid for subscription. I paid for one of the subscriptions but now that the update has come in it says that I haven’t paid for the subscription and I was wanting to play the dungeon crawl but now I cannot because it reset my payment towards my subscription.Besides that though I absolutely love this game it’s a great game I just need my payment fixed to where it shows that I have paid for a subscription

I keep losing my progress and saved character. It seems that every time the game freezes up after I defeat a gladiator. So when I go to restart the game it gives me the option to start a new game and does not have my previous gladiator. This has happened 3x’s on this game and once on SAS 2. Even after the upgraded purchase to continue playing...

Game breaking bug. The only big problem I have is after I defeat lumberjack it gives me the dialogue as if I defeated big moo and the whole save crashes and I have to start all over.

Game Crash. I’ve created 3 different characters and at around tournament #10 the game crashes and stays frozen and will not continue. I own an iPhone XR and this is obviously the apps issue. It’s a shame because I absolutely love the game to death but am unable to continue.

Dungeons are boring and unfair. I didn’t expect much from this game but I feel like the fact you have to constantly go into dungeons to fight arena champions is really annoying, it’s also the fact that the combat in the dungeons is really poor, you can’t move around so if you are running low on mana or health when fighting an enemy you’re done for. If you could just do the arena fighting more than the dungeons I wouldn’t be writing this review.

Movement, frustrating. Overall I like the game and the idea and am a huge fan of the series, but maneuvering in this game through the dungeon severely needs a patch I think maybe for new phones or something. The squares clicked on are inaccurate. (Played on IPhone XR, some of the screen can be cut off at times as well)

Great game, only few bugs. I love the game. I didn’t feel pressured to buy the upgrade, but I did anyway to support the developers. The thing I noticed is that when first starting the game, the “privacy” button at the top right seems to be almost entirely cut off. I can still press it, but it makes me feel as if I’m missing some of the screen area. I haven’t run into any problems because of it, just thought I should mention it. A couple spelling errors. Also when in the dungeons, it seems really hard to accurately choose where to press. Tapping on the actual square I want to go to does not work, it’s like I have to aim an entire extra square in that direction to move where I want to, which makes traveling in the dungeons kinda irritating.

Amazing game ....buuuutt. For some reason after level 20 the game won’t show items in my “inventory” icon whenever I’m in the dungeons

Good Game!. Great game, I recommend you install it! I used to play swords and sandals when I was younger and this brings back memories. For me to be able to play swords and sandals wherever I am! Really fun just wish I didn’t have to pay to play the entire game! It’s worth it to play the entire game though! Great game overall! Definitely a 4 star if it didn’t have the purchase, also I do feel like there can be some more adjustments to it, to kind of make it a more fun experience such as making it a 1gb game for some other stuff added such as being able to roam around the city and tavern. If this was added though, it would be a huge game, and probably around call of duty’s size game like in gigs. Probably 4 or 5gb would make this easily possible. Doesn’t even need to be like that just like to be able to roam the stores like the menu thing to buy stuff, then to be able to click on it and be put into a 3D game like the dungeon! This would be absolutely insane and a game changer!

Very entertaining. Loved it. The only thing that would make this app better is if they had a player vs player mod, that would put it on a new level of addicting.

Met my Expectations. As much as I love this game, and even if I grew up with it, I wish it'd have more features and less bugs. Also I don't really like the dungeon exploring, because my favorite part of the game was fighting in the colosseum. I think I'd be better if the exploring was optional and not required for quests.

Update needed fast. The most addicting game you’ll ever play but I can’t get outta the dungeon so I can’t face the third arena champion plz update soon I love this game but I can’t get any further

Dungeon Bug. The dungeo doesn’t progress to the next floor it just freezes

Such a great entertaining game. I could play all these games all the time, just wish they’d put the rest on the mobile platform, they’re so great!

Sentinels and Bosses. Everything is great except that when I got to the frozen cave and cathedral the sentinels and dragon boss dealt damage straight to my health while I have over 2k shield points please fix

Bugs but great near future. Great game. The game still has some bugs tho, which the dungeon possesses at trying to enter/leave the steps. The dungeon also has another bug which is you can’t click on some floor tiles for your character to move around:/

A mixed review from someone who actually enjoyed the game. The game was a big part of my childhood! It’s great to see that it was converted into a mobile game. I didn’t mind the dungeon part of the game and there were a couple bugs/ typos here at there. Overall would highly recommend to friends interested in this genre of games because this franchise has done extremely well over the years. Saying that, I did have some major issues with the game... Some of the quests definitely felt like chores and the ones where the player was required to fork over copious amounts of gold for convoluted quests were infuriating!! One bug/typo I encountered while playing was when the player is required to pay 40,000 gold to HeChaos for war funding. At the time, it was a lot of gold for the level I was at!! And then later the game said that the payment was only supposed to be 10,000 gold.... Some of the ailments encountered such as vampirism or poison were so punishing while in the dungeons I ended up avoiding those features all together. The arena champions being animals or monsters was kind of a let down for me as well, I was hoping to fight those unique formidable gladiators that the games are centered around. There were other little things here and there but once again this game was fun and amazing aside from all the problems and I wouldn’t take the time to write this if I genuinely did not like the game. The last major complaint for me is THE COMPLETE LACK OF VALUE AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE MAIN STORYLINE THERE ARE NO MORE QUESTS NO MORE BATTLE PIT BATTLES NO DUNGEON FREE-ROAM WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH MY GLADIATOR AFTER EVERYTHING IS COMPLETED AND I HAVE NOTHING LEFT

I love this game but (I need help). So I love Swords and sandals played it since I was little but in this app I got to like level 27 and then when I went into dungeons my item bag didn’t work and I couldn’t use torches thus I got killed by grudars and the grim reaper

Glitch. I really like this game. However, my game will no longer load. It won’t let me play my current character. I don’t really want to restart so I hope this is fixed.

Very Fun Game. This game is so nostalgic from when I was a little lad, and this the the only mobile game I can play for hours!

Game breaking. When I try to descend in any dungeon my character just disappears and doesn’t go farther into the level. It happens in every dungeon and I can only go back to the surface Edit: I’ve encountered another bug where the gladiator keep just doesn’t show up. And the cloud background is the only thing there. The only way of leaving is closing the game entirely. I’ve gotten as far as I can in this game without being able to descend farther but now I’m stuck. I’d like playing this game and would like to finish it especially since I paid for it.

The ads literally kill this game.. So it’s sword and sandals, what more do you expect? Well I honestly expected a lot more. Swords and sandals 2 is my personal favorite of the series, but since the whole game for S&S 2 is pay locked (don’t worry I’ll make a review for that soon.) this had to do in the meantime. Ads of course aren’t bad, but it gets to a point where it gets worse.... WAY. WAY WORSE. after the first arena champion kill the ads somehow bug out the entire game. Now what do I mean by that? Well the ads appear after every time you lose or win a tournament battle. Now why is that a bad thing? Well something strange happens when this happens and it will make or break your entire game when it does happen. The ad pops up right on the victory or lose screen. And will actually bug out the game somehow into either not bringing up the “return to town” button prompt, or just not leaving that screen at all. Yes. The ads literally soft lock your game. And the only way to get out of it is through closing the entire game and waiting 10 seconds for the intro bull crap to play through before you can get back to your current progress. It’s pitiful. And it’s not like it has a rare chance of happening, no no no, this happens every time you win in the arena. And the logic as to how this happens make no sense. So I guess go ad free to avoid this? Which means you have to pay to avoid this glitch, right? Sounds about right. Pay money to avoid the mistake of the developer. Well after that salty note, the only redeeming factors in this game is the game itself. It’s a very immersive story with great characters and even greater quests. However. That doesn’t save it when a glitch to continue the story of the game will make you want to tear your hair out of your head for when it happens. It’s sad and pitiful.

Amazing!!! but. These let me relive my childhood!!!! but once I get to a certain part of the story everything glitches and it doesn’t let me move forward w the story... only if this was fixed

I am stuck. So basically After defeating the third champion. an ad came up. after that ad came up I closed it and then the game bugs. My best character gone because every ad doesnt let me exit. I did try restarting but now its stuck on a black screen. Please fix my game I swear. Ive worked really hard for my character. thank you

Bugs. Beat the tree boss arena champion and the game black screened. If I restart and load the character it’s still a black screen. Fun game but some bugs make it literally unplayable.

Why though. In a dungeon, i can see the stairs to go down, but cant get to them cause they are blocked by blue terrain that i cant move (aka it spawned in a way where it faces the edge of the map, or the map is 1 tile to small for me to proceed). Fun game otherwise.

Fix the crashes!!. It's a great game and I love it but it seems it's always a 50/50 chance that the game will crash when you try to go down stairs. I'm at the cathedral stage 11-15 and I can't even load the levels now the game just crashes and I loose 15 mins worth of progress..

Why bother with S&S Medieval?. Why bother releasing Medieval when you were planning to do S&S 5? Medieval was a 2 star 1 dimensional effort, while there’s more to do and strategize in 5. I always loved the S&S arena battler formula since 2, but these sequels haven’t hit the mark until 5. If you enjoyed S&S during the height of Flash popularity, 5 is basically free with a $1.50 unlock for no ads and some coin. With Medieval the Maximus unlock was the only way to stay sane playing for another couple of levels thanks to the double xp. 5 is much more all around playable.

Can’t play after 3 boss. After 3 boss the game turn black and I can’t play. Please fix it

Easy is not easy. I understand some games are meant to be hard But when you give me a difficulty setting and I pick the easiest one and can’t even get past a random hobo in the dungeon who has 2 levels less then me without feeling like I’m fated to lose then yeah I’m not gonna play this game. I know there some people who disagree and enjoy being spanked by games but I’m not them. Give me easy when I pick easy please.

Has no more content than 2. The only change made since the second version is some TERRIBLE dungeon crawler that you MUST do to progress. The second game was great, and assuming this game was as good i bough ultratus here. I essentially paid 7 bucks for the same game with that garbage dungeon mode.

Game glitches after third arena. Fantastic game. However after the third arena champion the game goes black and cannot be refreshed ! Address this or you have lost a player

Playing ranged is impossible. All npcs in this game can Jump as many times as they want and stay in your face for literally the entire arena match without losing stamina while you can do nothing but jump around and walk backwards making no progress and slowly getting killed by lunges… this game is not good and I encourage anybody who thinks of buying it to spend their money on something else.. 10 months without an update so its blatantly obvious these Devs dont care about this game 1 bit

Glitch. So i have beaten the wooden arena champion and it froze and went to a blck screen and now whenever i try to play it doesnt load or do anything so now its stuck, overall up until this game ending glitch it was good and lots of fun but this glitch is a game killer to me and i dont wanna play this anymore because of it
