Love it but one huge problem. I really do love this app. For someone who finds it difficult to track anything or create any habit, this app helps a lot. The only big issue is that there is no “monthly overview” showing your mood states. You can see them weekly, but in the grand scheme of things, you want to see how your mood has shifted over the course of weeks. So a monthly view of your mood lights would really make this app perfect. Hopefully the app editors or creators see this and can implement this.
Buggy?. Really good for logging your mood throughout the day and I really love the light that changes as you add moods. A problem I’m having though is that I used the app around a year ago and then stopped, and I’m using it again now, but the app keeps going all the way back to my logged emotions from last year rather than showing the emotions from this week. This means that whenever I want to look at current emotions I have to scroll all the way over. It would be nice if this could get fixed/updated.
Amazing Growth. At first, I didn’t know what to think about this app. When I tried it though, it was amazing, and it helped with my mood and tracking it. I felt relaxed and happy afterward, but when it was hard to talk about my moods and such, it was really helpful because it wasn’t an actual person. You can also lock your stuff in so you don’t have to share with anyone else. I think that’s a really really good thing for me, so I suggest this app.
Wish I could adjust my responses after submitting.. I pre-saved this app just days before it was released through the I Am affirmations app and I was really excited to track my mood. So far ok day one. My only issue is that after going through the onboarding process I went to add a note to today's mood and I couldn’t scroll down to the done button with my note in. I tried backing up and adding my note a couple times and it didn’t work. So I figured I’d be able to save it and then add it afterwards through editing my entry, but there is no way. I tried tapping on my entry, going to the settings and still nothing. I so far love the app, the design, the layout. It all comes together very nicely but this one feature doesn’t allow for very much adjustment in case of wanting to add more or change your initial response.
Needs big fixes. It’s a great app when it works. It often crashes on me and it always takes forever to process what I’m asking it to do. When I open it to put in my mood, it hangs for a long time before it moves on to do what it’s supposed to. If I need to edit a note, it takes FOREVER to let me type in my edits. I don’t understand why it gets hung up so much. If I use the search feature to find a mood rather than look through the list, the app crashes about 90% of the time.
Awesome. Mood light is awesome. It helps me by going on everyday and jotting down the answers to the questions they ask. There not hard questions and there’s only 5 questions which you answer by choosing the bubble words they already have given you. It helps you feel how your actually feeling that day. It helps you feel your emotions and literally lets you know how your feeling. It’s easy to use and it’s well worth the money. I see a physiatrist along with using this app. I also use a quote app called motivation which is an awesome app that you get to choose the mood your feelin that day and it’ll give your quotes based off how how your feeling. Both well paid apps. Mental health has a been a big thing for a couple years now and that could be because what people were thinking about physcos isn’t how it really is and that the real truths are coming out about people that are named phsyco- and whatever else your word is used with. It’s okay to cause coas sometimes!
Love it except makes you pay for everything. I love this app and the pack that you can get that includes this. I love how It can give me tips and quotes to help me feel better, but without purchasing the subscription, you can barely do anything with these apps. Plus the subscription is too expensive and unreasonable. I might go find a different app that doesn't require you to pay for everything in it.
Mixed emotions. I love the concept of the bubble being multiple colors, i wish it was more like a specific emotion, even simple ones that you can put in it, as your overall day can’t be assumed right then and there unless you wait til the end of the day, which i struggle to remember and identify my own emotions by then. so, dropping the emotions in will not only make the bubble more colorful, but also be more accurate. another thing, the widget is nice, but i specifically would like my bubble to appear, and to be able to add the widget to my lock screen. it’d also be cool if there was a function to see your friends; not the specific emotions their feeling, but the color of their bubble. lastly, i do not like ai, but ive been desperate in trying to find a good mood tracking app. so i criticize it for using ai — to an extent. using ai to help better peoples understandings of themselves is commendable, better than stealing ideas and art of others. so, in conclusion: i love this app so far, but it could be so much better.
Love it just not the price. I absolutely love this app it is help me so much track my mood and it’s been some thing. Nice to look forward to every day to journal and reflect back on. The only downside is they only have one option for purchase and it’s $20 for the year and I think it’s a little much, especially when there’s no monthly price options for people who have mental health problems a lot of them are low income and a lot don’t have $20 to spend on an app that tracks their own moods and feelings, so that’s the only reason I get it 4 Stars but if there was a monthly price option or maybe a option to choose your price like some apps do with donation I think that would help so many more people in general and it definitely would be well worth the 5 and then some !
Buggy, haven’t been able to log my moods consistently for about a week now. Every time I open the app I get a blurry view of the add mood screen. I don’t know if it’s because I recently turned off the Face ID encryption, or what. But I can sometimes start filling out the log, but then it remains blurred out, meaning I can’t see/read the buttons I’m selecting. I’m pretty disappointed, as I broke my daily streak of logging my daily moods since early February of this year this past week. I’ve had a stressful first full week back at school and really hoped to have been able to track my fluctuating moods as things came up on the daily. Needs massive improvement or bug fixes. I have noticed when it did still work, too, that it was very slow to respond and took several presses of buttons for it to select a mood, trigger, and take down my note/entry for the day. Considering moving forward with other more consistent alternatives now, tbh.
Decent app. Not much to say, it is a little annoying that all the analytic features that are advertised are behind a membership, but otherwise the app is great. My only comment is that I wish you could add emotions like you can add triggers. Because sometimes I’m feeling something very specific and the emotions that the app supply just aren’t quite sufficient. I hope you consider what I’m suggesting because it would be a feature I’d love to have and would make my experience with the app much more pleasant.
Want to subscribe but need more features. Big points that it lets me use it without subscription making me way more likely to subscribe (downloaded 3 other apps that in essence 😊said”no pay no play” (not game apps) It’s helping me hone in on my emotions much better than when just in my head/body. In fact as I identified I could feel connection between some feelings and physical symptoms I’m having. That’s a huge gift. I just wish there’s some follow up Re what to do with the feelings and triggers once they’re identified!?! To developers-thank you and keep up the good work! PS would help if palette isn’t so dark. I find that depressing ominous in itself!!
Bait and switch tactics. I have the (iam) app. I was offered this bundle for $59 for this app a 3 others. At first I was allowed to choose any options, but now I’m allowed 2-3 choices and all the others are locked unless I pay each one the full price for an annual subscription. So what in the world did I pay for? What a disappointment and it shows how little respect and care these developers actually have for people. It’s all about the money $. Of course no one gives refunds right. So I can just cancel my subscription and leave this review to worn others. It sounded good. The apps looked good but it’s all a lie. You get a minimum of things while getting bombarded to get the premium version of each and every app!?!? Good grief. Save yourself some money and aggravation.
AMAZINGGGG⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I suffer from extreme anxiety and depression. I do go to therapy once a week but when I’m not there this app helps me understand and helps me cope with my emotions and feelings. As a teenager, my emotions are all over the place. It’s really hard to understand them which can be exhausting and extremely frustrating. I’m truly trying my best to be the best version of myself as possible and this app is definitely helping me!
Good but slow. This is simply a diary or journal and the design of it is pretty warm and aesthetic but it is one of the slowest things I’ve ever used. Going to click on a previous date or trying to make any edits to old days completely breaks the phone and the keyboard doesn’t type out what you wrote until a good while after you touch the screen. The delay is very annoying and it is only this app for me I’m not sure if it happens for everyone. Other than that pretty good
Needs updates/fixes. I love the intuitive elements of the design, but I paid $30 for the subscription and the app constantly crashes. The help and contact links on the app don’t work. (I would have contacted the developers directly rather than leaving a negative review, but this seems like the only option for communication.) The constant crashing and clunkiness makes the app difficult to use. I also think it would be beneficial to be able to view a month or year of stats at once, or to be able to scroll through the weeks to get a more holistic impression. Overall this app has a lot of promise but it needs major improvements and customers need a way to communicate issues. I feel bummed about having spent $30 on something that doesn’t really work at the moment. Hoping for improvements!
Best app ever! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. i have been SUPER SUPER stressed lately and this app is literally the best!!! I can’t explain how much I love this app!! It helps me express my emotions and let’s me breath when I feel like I’m about to drown in my worries! While you are looking at this app, you need to get the other apps it recommends. I can’t remember the names exactly but there’s two other that I also use from this company called headspace and I am I think. Go check them out they literally help me sm!(so much)
Great idea, needs more data analysis features to justify price. I downloaded the app two weeks ago and plan to continue using it! I like that I can track/identify my moods and triggers. One thing I would like is to be able to assign a specific trigger to a specific mood. Sometimes I have more than one mood and a certain trigger only applies to one, but in the stats area it shows up as related to every mood I rectified that day. (E.g. my friends trigger me feeling loved, my job triggers me feeling anxious. But it links my friends with anxious feelings since these are on the same day.) Lastly, I did the free trial for the stats but it does not seem worth it to pay for a subscription. It gives you stats for only one week at a time. I was hoping to identify overall trends, so having the option to switch from stats for this week, this month, this year would make it worth the subscription for me. Would be 5 stars if these two changes were made!
Subpar but aesthetically soothing. This application doesn’t offer enough practical features. It would be helpful if it helped us breakdown why we are experiencing a certain mood or offer us tools to dial the intensity of the mood down. Biggest drawback for me is that there aren’t enough words provided to allow us to describe our mood and we are unable to add in and use our own words. There’s maybe 40-50 moods provided. It’s not enough. It makes me out my moods in a categories they don’t really belong in. Very aesthetically soothing nonetheless.
Really not all that great. I don’t understand how this has so many positive reviews. I’m assuming people didn’t try multiple apps to compare or Moodlight must have good marketing. It does look polished, but beyond having an exhaustive mood list filled out by default, that’s really all it has going for it. I tested this alongside similar apps Moody and iMoodJournal. I was looking for an app that let me record my moods several times a day as I’ve recently begun taking medication that can cause mood swings and my doctor recommended keeping a journal so we know if the dose needs to be adjusted in a few months. I prefer the guided ease of Moodlight as there’s so many emotions already available to choose from, but similarly to Moody, the analysis function of the app is terrible. It gives you very little grouping and it’s much harder to view trends - an option which is only available through subscription. At the cost of ~$20 a year, it’s insane to me that anyone would pay for such worthless analysis and I’m glad I cancelled during the trial period. iMoodJournal is more open-ended which seems a little daunting but I can log everything the way I want to, even medication if I’m so inclined. The analysis functionality is by far the best of the three apps. Any moods or factors that you’ve entered have a running score for the time period you’re viewing so if you’ve tagged an emotion or factor multiple times, it shows you what the average feeling score you had when you selected it. I purchased Moody at the reduced subscription rate of $5.99 and tbh even that was too much. Maybe if it was for a direct purchase vs subscription. I would never pay ~$20 for Moodlight even if it was a direct purchase. iMoodJournal is also cheaper at $2.99 with no furth subscription necessary so the fact that it has the best analysis blows my mind.
It’s fine but lacking. I like the simplicity of tracking, I’m not quite sure why I had to enter in goals or why it costs $20 a year to do this, but I guess I have a year to find out. Other people have mentioned more features that I don’t have, so maybe that’s just coming later. The one very frustrating thing is the list of triggers for your mood. You can’t enter in custom ones, and it lacks obvious stuff like pets, home/house/living situation, gaming and music but not tv/movies or even just some catch all for entertainment… I feel like everything I have to select is not even close to the real trigger so what use is the trend I get? You may find the options better for you.
Great app! Please add certain and uncertain as emotions. I love the app, especially since I can scroll my mood like a timeline and watch the changes. I would subscribe if certainty was in the emotions. Because a lot of people are highly impacted by how certain or uncertain they know their future is gonna be. It especially impacts my mood. I mean there’s a “lost” button but no button for the opposite emotion. If you guys had a line chart for emotions over the course of a month a TON of women would love the app, because tracking hormone cycles is very popular right now. Possibly the ability to choose the dates that show the chart. Again amazing app and so many opportunities.
Finally an app that lets me see what I need to improve my mental health.. I love this app. Just too bad you can’t get the “advice tip” AND a good quote for the day. Sometimes I journal in it3-5 times a day… I hit advice tip always because I have another app for quotes of the day. That would be an improvement I’d love to see here though, so it’s all in one. Otherwise I have NO complaints. Thank you SO much for this. My anxiety has been through the roof lately and I’ve been having panic attacks…I record them here and the insight is fabulous!
Emotional Intelligence for adults with ASD. I was diagnosed with ASD at age 35, and I have been working hard at developing my emotional literacy and intelligence. I appreciate that this app provides me with a plethora of emotions for each base mood to explore- especially since I struggle to recognize and name emotions. I also appreciate the feature that allows me to add my own triggers, but not emotions. This helps me recognize when I am describing a scenario and not a feeling, and reorder my perspective accordingly. I have only one complaint: I don’t understand why the app opens on the same date in early October, not today’s date in December.
Keeps Crashing out. Its unfortunate, I use to use this app almost daily and was my favorite journal and mood tracker, it helped me in so many ways and I enjoyed that it can give feed back, I enjoyed all its features. However in these past months, this app has consistently crashed out or has been very slow at responding to tap demands. At first it wasn’t to much of a problem since it would just take a second or two, but it has gotten far worse and at times it will take me out of the app entirely and delete what I was writing. Also at the start of 2025 I was looking back through my history, trying to look for old notes from 2024, to find out it has been entirely wiped, it was heartbreaking, I didnt expect that at all. Its just saddening since I did love using this app and was one of the few mood/journaling apps that I checked regularly, now I dont even use it at all.
Some improvement but good app. I’ve just gotten this app, like an hour ago, and I was telling my friend,T, about it. She really liked it but then pointed out something that I agree with. While the app is great, it doesn’t do what the description says? It’s basically just a mood trackers and that’s it, which is great, but everything is premium. Like EVERYTHING, so I think the developers should add more general things to be free. Might be just my opinion but I think that I shouldn’t have to pay $20 a year(ish) to use an app as it’s directed in the “free access” zone? Other than that, it’s a great app.
My honest review on this app! :D. I am a teenager who has struggled with my mental health for quite some time now, but when I saw this one day, I decided to try it thinking it would maybe help me some. I’ve only had this app for a few days and I truly believe it has very much helped me. The fact that you can like log your feelings is very very helpful and I really believe this has helped me. And if your struggling too I think it will :)
Technical issues. I just started using this app and already there are issues with the ability to scroll to read the rest of the content on each slide. The keyboard once opened to journal your day can’t be removed because you can’t scroll down the page to move to the next slide. The graphics are great if I were able to scroll to the bottom of each page I would be able to enjoy the whole experience without having to assume what the bottom of the page looks like/ said. Unfortunately, I am quite frustrated with this app because I was really excited about it but it is not the experience I hoped for.

Predatory. The way you had me fill out a mood journal and then went straight into having me agree to make a purchase in the same flow is honestly one of the most predatory things I have seen from an app in a long time. I’m an avid user of the app, I Am. In fact, it’s one of the very few apps I’ve ever paid for, and gladly. I think it’s a wonderful app that has brought my life a lot of goodness and I am happy to support the developers. When they advertised this app to me I immediately went and downloaded it. However now reading the reviews I’m seeing that overall people are having the same complaint as I am. I doubt I’ll be using this app in the future. Too bad.
Love this, but the UI is argh!!. I've used Moodlight for nearly the past year, and there are many great features: the Moodlight tips, the ability to add your own triggers. However, using the app is so tough because I have to tap my screen 3-4 times just to get to the next window on the app. I made sure that my phone was not the issue, and using another app right was easy: that's how I know this problem is specific to Moodlight. Maybe I need to tap on my phone screen in very specific places to use Moodlight easily? It's such a wonderful app but using it is tough!
Need more subscription options. I’ve been liking the app for the most part so far, but 7 days was not enough time to explore all the app has to offer, nor did it allow enough time to form a habit of using it and making it impossible for me to give a relevant review. Why is the ONLY OPTION for a subscription, YEARLY??? And after a mere 7 day trial. I really wanted to get into it. It’s not like other apps in this “genre”. I actually felt that I could benefit from this app. But I’m on disability (fixed income), and $30 all at once is very hard for me to do. I’m not saying it isn’t worth it… I can’t really answer either way at this point. I would gladly subscribe on a monthly basis if given the option. That way I could truly try all the app has to offer without get bound by a yearly sub. I very surprised and extremely disappointed that an app meant for mental health help, doesn’t offer more subscription options… monthly works well without a long term commitment or the need to have to give up $30 all at once. That’s not something I can gamble with on a fixed (low) income. I truly hope you provide more subscription options and soon. I’d like to write a positive review after really using and exploring all this app has to offer.
Has deleted all my data 2 separate times!!!. I’m really upset, I’ve used this app for about a week and in that time, the app crashed once, so I had to try and remember everything and re-enter it. Then it crashed and deleted everything a SECOND time. I love the idea of this app and was really enjoying using it until this happened. There’s no log-in so it essentially doesn’t save your data! I haven’t been able to find a customer service number or email to contact so I can attempt to get all my data back! It’s really important to me to get it back because I send my daily mood entries/journals to my doctor. If you use it, I highly recommend screenshotting all of your entries for when it will inevitably crash and delete all of your progress.
Finally the mood tracker I’ve been looking for!. I was told by my therapist to track my mood and after trying multiple apps I found that many that didn’t really work for me. I struggled to remember to log my mood and most apps only allowed me to choose one mood for the day which was stressful because of my fluctuating mood because of ADHD. This app tackles all of that! I’m very happy with the app so far, I hope they add more emotions or allow for custom emotions but overall I love it!
Good app for mood tracking but the way it’s advertised is kinda of misleading. My only complaint is that you’re given the impression that the apps whole thing was to detect emotional and behavioral patterns to identify your triggers for you…which is the case if you pay $20 for premium. But if you don’t do that the app is nothing but a mood tracker…and you’ll have to identify all of those things for yourself lol. Which is still helpful…the app is still helpful as a mood tracker but unless you pay $20 a year then that’s all it really is lol. They should make general stats free and maybe offer more specific or detailed stats with the premium subscription. Also I know this app is new but the written one star reviews are very misleading. Expecting an app to get rid of your mental issues completely is just unrealistic. The app says in the very beginning tutorial thing that “This app will not replace therapy with a mental health professional.”. And not even therapists can really make your mental issues completely go away. You need to learn how to manage your mental issues in order for it to even be possible for your mental issues to go away completely.
This is a great app. Just a small bug. This is honestly one of the best apps I have found to help me track and manage my anxiety and my moods the giving daily tips and quotes, especially are so helpful because they help me embrace the fact that oh I’m doing the right thing or redirect me to go in the right direction. Small thing. There is a glitch that whenever I open the app this slider of the days at the top are on the right day, but not the right date. Currently, today is Sunday so it shows me that I am on a Sunday but it’s the Sunday of two weeks ago on the calendar on top. haven’t seen anyone mention this, and I don’t know if this is a bug on my end. Thought I’d mention it besides that (which by the way is a very manageable glitch) this is a spectacular app
Great quality, wish there was one subscription. Great quality app, like all the other ones from the same developer. Really wish there was a bundled subscription that would activate all the different ones. So far, I subscribed to 2 and paid for the year, and then just learned about this one. And it is a bit out of budget right now. A bundle seems nice because at different times of the year, some apps are more relevant than others: sometimes loving kindness, sometimes I am, sometimes Moodlight etc. This specific app seems very nice though, and looking forward to see how it evolves. MEDICAL/MENTAL HEALTH. This app has helped me so much be able to recognize my triggers, common patterns, and help explain to my doctors more about my day to day struggles. I highly recommend this app. It’s absolutely amazing if you’re wanting to be more mindful, aware, and simply a better person than you was the day before. 💚 We call could learn a thing or two from ourselves. This app helps you become more mindful of yourself and your triggers.
Daily Mood Tracker review. I have loved using this app over the past couple days. I was easy to track my mood through the day and had some prompted questions to help me think back on how I felt. In my Psychology class we learned about different depressive disorders and anxiety and this app helped me to become more aware of my emotional and mental state. It gave me options of different feelings I could have been experiencing and set me up to pick area I think I needed to focus in. I chose to pick manage anxiety. The app then prompted me to choose how I was feeling at that exact moment and then had me choose emotions that make me feel good. I think this app overall was a very positive way to look at understand your emotions and mood and helped my anxiety overall. I think this app would help alot of other dealing with any depressive disorder or anxiety because it walks you through your emotions and helps you understand them and how to make them improve!
Helpful app for mental health. So far, I’ve really enjoyed using this app, the unfortunate part is you have to pay for it. However I really do think it is helping me to process my emotions and put them into words in order to better express myself. I love the list of feelings and possibly causes. Also if I’m not feeling the best, the feedback is super helpful and gives tips to increase mood.
Daily Moonlight Affirmations. This helps me reflect on myself, and helps me to grow in every aspect of my life, but by the pale moonlight, I feel more at ease and calmness. The day time, I like to be out doors, but this app is helping me to grow spiritually, feeding me, and untiring me at the same exact time. Life is what you make it. Stepping out of my comfort zone , and being about myself, my business, and becoming and up right citizen, and adult. I have grown, in many ways, and being all about it and staying silent l, just proves, my sincerity to and dedication. I am honored and true, and this goes out to myself. I love and except myself. Love this app 💜. I was recently using another app for many years. But unfortunately they had took away access for those who weren’t employees and other apps were just too complicated for me. I recently discovered this app and it has already help me manage my anxiety or just simply when I need to jot down how I’m feeling, especially if I feel overwhelmed with my ADHD and other aspects in my life. Even with the free version of the app has help me tremendously and I’m grateful for it.😊
Interface Complaint. This app is perfect for those who are better trying to understand their baseline and track their moods. Obviously this app will be a cure to whatever mental distress you may experience, but it does offer you a better way to tap into your daily feelings and expand on your mood vocabulary. My only complaint it that the widget and app does not offer a light mode/theme. The app solely being navy/dark makes it feel heavy/daunting to open.
The App is wonderful. Everything is nearly perfect, I just wish there would more subjects that are responsible for emotional responses. For example there’s things like relationships and corresponding emotions like loved and Optimistic. I would like to see more things for the overall 3 things you select daily: Good, Okay, Bad. Also recently, I’ve very pleased that these developed added no limit to the side notes we can create. But yeah, adding more emotions for ‘I felt’ and more things for ‘because’ would be amazing.
Needs more trigger options. I like it so far, seems helpful to track moods and find patterns. I would like it if there were more options for emotions and triggers or if it had an option for “other” that we could fill in. If we had our own triggers that we could plug in and re use. For example we could plug in “cold shower” or “EFT tapping” for positive triggers “my fitness pal” as a negative trigger (lol IYKYK) . I know there is the option for the note but it would be nice to have the option for other triggers rather then whats there! Thanks!
Overall great but would be better if…. Overall super cool and grateful for this app. There is a feature you can look at stats for the week and previous weeks but would honestly be such a game changer if there was a way to look at the whole month overall or even all emotions from a larger calendar perspective . I hope that this is something that can be implemented as I’m afraid as of now there’s a slight limit as to the effectiveness of this app due to this. For example I just use it to write and log versus compare over long periods of time how each month is. ALSO!! Would love to have the ability to add more emotions like you are allowed with triggers. At times there are many emotions I feel but aren’t available so it’s a bit of a shame
Great ! Lacking a couple of features. I love this app so much and I use it daily. I love the aesthetic and the simplicity. My favorite feature is the AI assistant because it really gives you advice catered to past knowledge you’ve put in entries and that specific recent entry. I have depression and anxiety and I struggle with identifying exactly how I’m feeling and my triggers. This app has helped so much with this and has made it easier for me to bring up these things in therapy. My only requests are the ability to delete entries. I’ve added some incorrect info accidentally and I can’t change the time or mood. Also I wish the app would open to the current week but instead it opens to the first week you used the app which really bothers me, but besides that I would recommend !!
Amazing. I can’t say enough about this app and it’s approach towards just being able to get people conscious of where they are mentally and what a huge difference it can and will make in so many people’s lives. It’s just really nice to see technology being used for the better of people. In closing I guess I’ve just been let down by our healthcare system and I can honestly say that this app really picked me up when I was pretty much planning on staying down. Thank you guys seriously
Some glitches. I really like this app and I’ve been using it for years but, there’s been an issue recently where the app has been really slow and glitching. This started a couple of weeks ago and anytime I would try to type something the words take forever to appear on the screen and my whole phone just glitches. I can’t even get past the loading screen anymore. It might be just because I’ve used the app so often, but it doesn’t happen with my other apps and my phone has no other issues.
A quick guide to understand emotions. I like how it gives you the option to pick multiple feelings and that it gives a summary of those feelings once you’ve checked in. That is nice to see the bigger picture. My suggestions: It would be nice if you clicked on a feeling and it gave you a short description or example of that word. That way it is easier to decide what emotion you’re having. And, be able to add your own words that describe your feelings.

It’s okay. It’s a good app overall, but I do t know what benefits you get from paying for it. All it basically does is show you what you can see without paying in a different format. As other people have said, if you could connect personally with a psychiatrist then it would be awesome. Features like lock screen widgets and things would make it more interactive, showing you how your emotions are. Or being able to tell you what to do in situations. I like the idea of it! It’s just a bit bland and kinda pointless.
Widgets. I love this app so much it helps me reflect on my emotions & see if I need to fix things but I set up a widget I just can’t get it to show my mood though I’ve done it many times! I read the help thing & it’s still not working? Any help? It’s updated too!

Echo chamber. It’s wonderful to be able to record my moods and observe patterns but what am I really paying for? I feels like I’m yelling into an echo chamber and no one can hear me scream. It would be an incredible addition if you added science and psychology to this app which observes the patterns and gives non-medical advice or suggestions on ways to improve. I.e. “here’s an alert: you’ve recorded really low moods everyday for 10 days - here are some great ways to improve or we recommend speaking to a professional”. This advice will need to be renewed somewhat like the “I am” app. You can consider modelling your app off the “clue” period tracker and “I am”. Clue predicts period dates and pregnancy probability but requires consistent use to do that. Happy to help if you need more suggestions.
Bummer. I’m unsure about the app, The start wasn’t clear, the steps to set up profile and emotions confused me, then once submitted I realised I’d taken the questions the wrong way and now I can’t go back to correct it. Plus not sure how it may help me overall.
Its has some improving to do. So its alright. Like the features are great but without premium its just a list of why you feel happy/sad etc. The only way to manage these emotions is pretty much getting premium which is kinda ngl trash.

Give it time. People here seem to be not understanding that this app literally just launched. As with everything, improvements will be made and new features added. You can see from the Developers profile that all their apps get regular updates. As for the echo chamber comments: I think self reflection is vastly underrated. This app helps me so much with checking in with myself, identifying the emotion I’m actually experiencing, and not letting my day get away from me because of unconscious reactions. In its current form, the app really helps me daily. I’m really looking forward to the future of this app. It has a lot of potential, the design is absolutely on point, and I believe the developers will continue to improve the app to become an absolute powerhouse in the industry.

You just write your mood in few words. There is no depth even when I used the premium option it’s not enough. It’s not gratitude it’s just journaling a bit. With premium you should suggest things from our responses or doing something with our journal like analyzing something. It’s superficial I’m disappointed I prefer your other app with affirmations

App is VERY SLOW. I’ve been using this app for a few months (premium). I really enjoy it and find it useful, however even after updating its painfully slow. Idk if it’s cause I have so many entries but even so…that’s what it’s for? Even with each update it does not help. I’m definitely switching apps because of it.
Real person here. App needs work by dev … beta stage (subscription not functional as part of bundle) but I’m sure this will be corrected. Can recommend (when dev fixes) but only as part of bundle. Doesn’t seem to get dev’s attention or work compared to their other more mainstream offerings. Conception is strong but only as part of a wellness bundle. It’s like the stick holding the burger together you throw away to eat the burger (motivation and I am apps). Nice to see dev working on other offerings but this app isn’t ready for mainstream … maybe TestFlight as a freebie testable … dev, you know this!! Promising company working out kinks.

Scam. Thought I was entering into a free trial of the Moodlight app. Nope, charged $39.99 to my credit card after I’ve barely even looked around the app. Most apps have a trial period whereas this immediately charged me. Not cool, not happy about this, and not interested in trying or using this app anymore. Deleted.
Almost but no cigar. I have high hopes for it.... But I am noticing a good few problems ; and I am a retired technology professional with over 30 years of experience in all things tech. I was a systems analyst at the best company in the world as my first job after all the universities and technology colleges. I have always been able to pick stuff up on my own and since my retirement has frustrated me, I now enjoy the rest of the bits I can do here and there. But I digress. I tried to add my own triggers using the right, the only, field and I couldn't save one without overwriting it with the next. Basic guys, come on now.I'm used to a very high level of experience and expected ability and love of the work so I had a great time working. But I would have been shot if I had dared submit something little like that to my testers! I'm not sure how y'all missed the obvious bits so buck up its not rocket science. I'm used to running the whole mainframe systems that run the eastern countries banks and financial institutions. Like the bank of Hong Kong. Plus I have always worked on the side at home, if I ever got there, Building and planning whole new company 's technology systems. I still did fixing my friends and family members computers and such. Anyway you are pretty close to good right now. Easy to get to perfect with an app this size and scope, and I know what I am rambling about. You don't know complicated until you have the scribbles in half English on literal drink napkins of the new plans and system specs. And we did it over and over again for so many clients! Huge ones. So you can see my point. I'm a person who loves the world of tech partly because I am synesthetic and able to see feel find experience things differently than most so I have a unique perspective and it is so much fun to see it and just go along with my assigned stuff, asking if I could just take a look at a little thing (huge thing) that I came across in the middle of my stuff. So I am used to getting right in deep and I learned so much more, even as a new hire, thank God I was at a great company that saw the willingness and ability come to my team and I was let loose enough to find and fix things that had been missed for ages. So yeah you are close. Go for it.
Great app but cannot share info with Apple health. Since apple health introduced the metal wellness, it also bring a function of mood tracking. Could you make Moodlight align with Apple health so that I don’t have to record same thing twice?

Very Deceptive! Theft. Full Stop.🛑. This app was “bundled” with 5 others that I was trying (free trial for THREE DAYS) *for all the others. THIS one is 24 hours. (!?) I went to cancel my subscription before 3 days -reasons: the app wording doesn’t fit - it also has no “positive” so called triggers * no option to list what makes you happy. (?!) How is THAT healing? Also looking at ones device is not really a good way to lift your mood. 🤔 Will contact my credit card company to deal with this bordering on fraud. Not impressed. Shady they have a 24 hour trial - while every other one is 3 days.

It’s great, but missing a few things.. I do appreciate this app a lot, because it’s a simple way for me to log my emotions & keep track of how I’m doing on a daily basis. But since it’s a paid subscription, I was hoping not to run into many issues - however there are a couple I’ve noticed, just in my personal experience! The “vote on new features”, and “give us feedback” options in settings only display a white screen when selected. I waited for quite a while and nothing loaded, only a white screen. I also wish there were more options in the “how am I feeling?” page at the beginning of the daily log. Sometimes it’s a mix between a good day and a bad day, I think there should be buttons to express that. However, this will not stop me from using the app. I think it serves a great purpose and I enjoy it, this is just my feedback! :)

Thumbs Down. The app crashed in the middle of me journaling and all my thoughts, feelings, etc. are lost. I went to the app store to ensure it was up to date, but it showed I needed to redownload the app. I never had this issue with any other app unless it was offloaded due to no use or I uninstalled it. Now, the app will not open. So, in addition to losing the entry I was working on, all of my data is lost. What a bummer. I'm glad I didn't purchase a premium subscription.
Wanted to love it. I love the concept and the design but the app itself is wonky…doesn’t respond to multiple touches on the buttons on the interface, continually prompts to try premium when I’ve already subscribed, deleting app and restoring doesn’t fix any of the above Joe updating to the latest version. I use another app by the same company (I am) that I absolutely love that has none of the above issues. Seems like this one wasn’t quite ready for prime time
Don’t buy premium. Stick with free. Super glitchy app, wasted my money. I loved this app and had no issues initially, so I decided to buy the premium version. However, as soon as I did, the app stopped working. When I try to input my feelings and mood, it crashes at step 3/5, leaving me frustrated and disappointed. It's incredibly discouraging to pay for a premium service that doesn't work, especially when I'm trying to better myself. I want a refund.
Love it. I would really like it more if I could see more of a monthly view/yearly view. Seeing each week is hard to keep track of overall trends. I love that you can add triggers so I can customize them to my life. The only thing that holds back from 5 star is not having a wider lens to view overall trends and patterns.
Really great app. Love this. It’s helped me recognize how I actually feel instead of getting stuck in one lane. Also what triggers certain feelings, awareness -> change. Simple, easy, non invasive. Quick journal/ notes about why/ what’s going on is helpful too. Try it.
Bugs. So Moodlight is one ofmy favorite journaling and self care apps. I love it, especially the AI feature. I have just noticed that it takes a while to open and load, and sometimes it glitches. I don’t know if this is a bug, but it constantly gets worse, so if there could be a bug fix, five stars.
Great app for mental health support. This app has almost every emotion you could be feeling and so many reasons why! It is great to improve your emotional heath, but it is money greedy! I can’t get the premium thing, so I can’t access the stats. I actually found an app that could help me find the cause of my depression!
Absolutely love. I love how you can put it to different times of the day so then you can just sit back and assess what’s going on. I think that this is such a good idea so then you can confront what’s going on in your day so then it can help settle what’s going on. It’s helped me.
Really wish it didn’t crash so often. I didn’t see my last review posted? I’ve been using this app for 5 months and it’s a good idea but Moodlight regularly crashes when searching/selecting emotions and triggers and there have also been issues with the Face ID. The mood journal on Apple health has never crashed on me before.
Good app, could use more options. It’s a great app but if you could sort the order that the emotions you selected display when they are listed. Things besides alphabetical like in order of selection would be nice. If so you could see what you felt like vs when/why in the day you felt that, like match it up😝

Could be better. Maybe have a calendar view. That way we can see past entries better than swiping. Also should automatically show recent posts. Mine shows the first month and year I started which is like last year.
Was great but now not working.. I got this app right when it came out since I use all the other apps from this developer. I used the app pretty consistently but then i didn't for a month and since then everytime I try to use it, it doesn't work. The app will either freeze or close out when i try and put in a mood. I had really enjoyed it but now I'm disappointed
5 STAR WORTHY. When I feel down or not so we’ll, or just happy in general, this app help!! Their questions are helpful and it make you feel so relieved, and all the stress is taken off of you. I suggest you get it!

Recommend. I just really love this app, it's incredibly helpful for me, I used to journal but can't do it as much as I want anymore but this app still helps me to identify my emotions and what is causing them, which can be really hard for me. My only note is that I wish you could add emotions to the emotions list like you can with triggers. But it's not a huge deal, I recommend this app 100%

So far so good. I got this app today and i was quite confused about the fact that i had to pay to use it but i went back on layer and it let me use it. There was apparently a few things that i had wanted on the app for me that i had to pay for, for example the face id. But other than me having to pay for a trial for a few thing it is really nice and will hopefully help me alot

READ THIS BEFORE YOU GET THE APP!. So you are able to write down and reflect on your feelings but you have to pay for premium to know literally everything else about your feelings. To know your triggers you need premium. To know what makes you feel good you need premium. To know what makes you feel bad you need premium. Literally you need premium to navigate this app. I advise getting a different app unless you want to have to pay to technically use this app.
Please enable iCloud sync!. Love the app! One concern I have before getting the plan is that the app currently doesn’t support iCloud sync :( I use both iPhone and iPad quite often. I really want to add mood and access the same history from both devices. Otherwise, the stats won’t be accurate neither.

As a teenager and it's hard to tell your parents what you want this honestly is the best part of my day and. it's like an online therapy for me i love doing this and reflecting on how i felt and leaving notes for myself and explaining my day js helps me a lot so i would 100% recommend to everyone especially teenagers.

Nice way to track!. I like taking a second of my day to reflect on how I feel & why. Definitely helping me understand some of my triggers and stuff. My only suggestion, under the “why” area, please add “Pets”! I wanna add my pets as a reason for stress or peacefulness some times and it isn’t there :(

Being a person who has been diagnosed with cPTSD Anxiety Manic Depressive Disorder to name a few, this app has helped me to understand my moods and triggers better and with that I have been able to focus more on my personal path of healing. Helps with your mind. I think it’s a really good thing to use when you’re feeling down and it’s a great thing to have when you’re feeling a certain way because it really helped me in that way and I really appreciate it for what I’ve done to me. I really love this app I think you should too.
Great app—functionality problem. I love everything about this app except the fact that it randomly crashes in the middle of a log half the time! Shame I spent $20 on something that crashes so often, really hurts the overall function
Glitches/Crashes often. I bought the annual membership because I enjoyed the simplicity of the app and wanted to know more about the trends of my moods and triggers. However, the app is slow, glitches, and crashes often. It happens so frequently now that I find that I want to mark my mood as irritated solely from the app. I’m a bit frustrated that I paid for an app that does not run efficiently.
Great and now sluggish. I loved this app in the beginning, but now it takes a long time for it to register my finger taps and sometimes it can take up to 5 minutes for me to finish the process. Sometimes it crashes midway through. Not sure if it is my phone or the app. If it weren’t for the lagging and crashing, I love the app.
Well Developed and Welcoming for Therapy and Healing!. This is the best mood tracking app I’ve used on the Apple app store since I started using Apple products in 2012! I hope this app gets the App Store’s “Editor’s Choice” award soon!
App crashes often. I’ve been using the app for a week and really like the idea of it. Was considering the paid version, but it crashes at least 1/5x that I use it. I also recommend the developers allow us to add emotions because the options are pretty limited. Hopefully the fix whatever bug is causing it to crash.
App is Always Closing. Whenever i’m trying to add my mood, i’ll be halfway done and the app would randomly close, me having to do it again. This is very frustrating and makes me want to delete the app. But it’s a good mood tracker ig.
So simple. I’m not one to keep up with a journal but feel having a record of thoughts and feelings would be extremely helpful. The entries are quick and easy and really helps learning about oneself, leading to changing what can be changed.
What an original and helpful idea!. I love this app so far. It’s beautifully designed and I can see how it will be helpful to me. My life is busy. I feel like it will help me keep things in check. Thank you!
I love it but have a problem. Every time I open the app it goes blurry. I didn’t do anything to make it like this it just happened once, not sure how to change it.
So much potential. So my biggest issues with this app is that all it really does it track you mood. There is no resources provided for variations in moods, there is no sense of “what can I do to improve my mood” nothing. So although tracking moods and later using that data to find out patterns is helpful if you already have a proper therapist or modality set up to work in coping mechanisms is helpful, this all is useless for acute management of mood variations. My proposal is that for $20 a year, at least provide insight and options and coping strategies.
I love this app. I just spent $76 on 3 journals which is still nice to have but since I have this on my phone, I can log from anywhere and it reminds me. It’s actually caught me at times I really needed to log. So I’m going to transfer log onto paper from my phone. So happy to have this! Thanks for this amazing app, seriously!!
