Classic Solitaire NETFLIX Game Reviews

I don’t want to log in between every game!. I started playing this a few months ago and I have really been enjoying it, until today. After logging in when I downloaded the app in May, I have not been asked to log in again, until today! Suddenly, after each game I play, I have to enter my login info before playing the next game. Very very annoying! If this glitch persists, I will uninstall.

Why?. Love this game. Spent many hours playing it. A recent update is requiring me to log into my Netflix account every 10 games or so. Very annoying and when I’m on a plane and not connected, it limits my ability to play the game at all. What a terrible update. Deleting and looking for a new on. Nice job, Netflix. You win. Keep your stupid game.

Love this solitaire game!. Love this solitaire game great smooth play and it has many great backgrounds, cardbacks, and faces; but the absolute best feature is NO ads!!!! Thank you Netflix!!!

Outstanding app. This is app is just so polished and well done with cool card animations and all kinds of settings for the most nit-picky player. Bravo developers!

The Best on the App Store. Yes, a Netflix subscription is needed, but the app works exactly as needed, isn’t bloated, and is ad-free. In a way, it reminds me of the old Windows solitaire.

Not as expected. There isn’t a way to draw three cards, only one at a time which makes the game way too easy.

LOVE this Solitaire game!. I’ve downloaded and played hundreds of Solitaire games and they ALL demanded buying more “coins” in order to keep playing or “ads” at the end of each hand that force you to spend at LEAST 2 minutes watching before you can play the next hand. Not this one!! I can correct bad plays, deal a new hand, get a hint and all without paying points or buying anything! BEST Solitaire game EVER. ONLY PROBLEM? I went to play tonight and when I clicked on the “N” it wouldn’t go to the game. Kept returning to the “N”. I thot maybe an uninstall and reinstall would help. It installed “Free Cell” instead! I hate Free Cell. Now I’ve found the right download but all my superior hours of play are gone. So very sad about that. Otherwise, THANKS for a great solitaire game.

Logging in over and over. I’m having to repeatedly log in to my Netflix account to keep playing games, sometimes in the middle of a round it will pause and say that to continue playing I have to log in to my Netflix account for the thousandth time. I saw someone else had this issue and the developer recommended the support button, but I can’t find the support button anywhere. There isn’t a main menu to go to, just settings and couldn’t find anything there. If the support but is in the app, make it more visible! Also you should actually put a link to the website someone has to go to to report a problem, not just type out the URL people don’t type URLs in anymore, it’s not the 90s. On top of that, the link is to Netflix’s help page, where the options are about the streaming service, nothing from that link is related to this game AT ALL. I want to play solitaire but if I have to keep logging in over and over AND the developer responses are going to be USELESS then I’m gonna have to find a different game. I’ve played other Netflix games and none of them have done this, so clearly the developers are the problem, not Netflix

Great solitaire game. This game is free with a Netflix subscription and there are NO ADS. There are daily challenges, you can undo moves, replay a deal, draw 1, draw 3, play only winnable deals, and many other useful options and settings.

The best!. Best solitaire I’ve downloaded. Truly is good! If you like solitaire this is for you!

Solitaire. I would like to have the option to play wit 2,3,or 4 suits instead of just one.

Log in. Loved this game until it started to kick me out and I had to log in every single game. Just keeps kicking me out. Really frustrating.

Offline still doesn't work. Update 6 Sept 2024: I am still unable to use the app when offline. The issue persists--when I lose service in-flight the game logs me out and forces me to sign back in. Without service I am unable to sign in and unable to play. This app used to be awesome. Now it doesn't like it when you're not connected to the internet. When I'm traveling and there's no WiFi or cell service I can't play because it keeps kicking me out and making me try to log back into, which is impossible when you have no service.

Love the game. It takes my mind off the stressful things and allows me to relax. It’s become a great comfort to me.

Nuisance update. It was a good daily game until the update added selecting other games. If I wanted to play other games, guess what… I would choose those. With the update you can’t get into the Solitaire game, it freezes. The only solution is logout, login again, choose the game again… takes longer to start the game than it does to play it. Update: I thought uninstall/reinstall might help. No. And it did not keep all my records, they weren’t in my Netflix account apparently only saved on the device. I don’t want to repeat all my settings so… DELETE APP. goodbye.

Get rid of that logo! 🤦‍♂️. That giant Mobilityware logo on the play area has got to go. Ego much? Please get rid of it. So distracting. For shame. Also get a real IX designer. The most used object is the deck, and it’s in the top right… should be in the bottom right near the thumb. And hide the ugly menu bar with a settings cog or hamburger menu. Looks like it was designed by a student or worse a coder who thinks they can design 🙄

Solitaire. It helps me to think it helps my mind to concentrate

Good for the mind body and soul. This game has helped me in so many ways. Focus, relaxing,deeply satisfying. I wish there was a way to communicate with our opponents. Really enjoy. I think this is a great solitaire app however I wish there was more play styles like spider solitaire, and that leveling up unlocked more cards and background styles

Game shark. I lose track of time when I’m playing.

Keeps asking me to sign in!. The app is now asking me to sign in every time I try to play a game! I finish one game, try to go to another deal and it asks me to sign in again! Would have gotten a 5 star but now will only get 1!

How can I find game number?. This game is fun, and I love all the statistics that tell what % you’ve won,, number of games played without hints, etc. Lol, I guess I’m showing I'm a nerd! One of my favorite things about free cell is that you can easily find out the game number to challenge to a friend on a particularly hard, yet solvable deal. But I can’t find a way in this game to find out the game number. I know that this game does track the number because some of the “Daily Goals” will be to beat a certain game number, and it will include that game number in the goal. I’ve looked on the developer website, etc but can’t find any information. Can someone help us? Thanks!

I found a bug. I love this game, but I found a minor bug and can’t find a way to communicate that to Netflix. I’m hoping the one star review gets some visibility. It would be nice to have a way to submit bugs. Here’s the bug: If you have a goal that’s based around placing Aces at the top portion of the screen, such as: “Place all Aces before you place a four”, you are able to meet the requirements of the goal by placing three aces at the top and then moving one of them. It might even be possible to use a single Ace and move it through each of the four slots, but I couldn’t test that.

No ads. When they say stress free……..it’s far from STRESS FREE when have to spend (what feels like 3 minutes) jabbing at a X or watching an ad for a game where a mother and daughter are depicted as damsels in distress. I can play game after game without distractions.

Everything you want solitaire to be. Easy to use. The pile goes one card at a time, not three, you can undo the last move (which also counts as a “move”) ask for a hint. Fun and great graphics. The hints help you learn new strategies for solving.

Seems pretty accurate. I have played some solitary games that seemed as if the deck was either stacked against you (frustrating) or too often in your favor (boring), but this seems fairly balanced. You win often enough to keep playing, but lose enough to keep it “real’. However I’m deducting one star for the inability to completely disable hints, which appear as “glowing” cards on the screen. They appear fairly quickly when you start and take longer to appear as you progress, but part of the solitaire experience requires you sometimes (perhaps if you’re tired or distracted) to overlook something that’s been staring you right in the face; you should be able to disable the hints altogether if you choose.

Thinking. We should an option to pick any color..

Best choice. This solitaire app has all the bells and whistles anyone would want or need. Best of all NO ADS!! One lone caveat; when a hand has reached a sticking point there is a little pop up notification that says, “We’ve noticed you may be having some trouble …” Ugh! The arrogance. Ah, well, the rest is fantastic.

Amazing. I have known how to play solitaire since childhood but I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I could become half as good at it as I have become since playing on this app.

Great Game. Everything was going good until I was forced to restart and re-install. Now I can’t reinstall it because the App Store shows a spinner which never stops.

Passing time. I find my time spent invigorating my mind with word games has sufficed until I came across this solitaire game. If hating is a good sign then jump on board. I’m spending way too much time on this age old game done differently.

Was fun while it lasted. After the last update an issue kept recurring, a known issue (game freezes) where the “solution” is to close the app, any running app and try again. If that doesn’t work, then restart the phone. This game is the only one out of many apps with this issue, and needs to be fixed instead of the proposed solution. The freeze occurs whenever I deal a new hand, restart a hand, or completes a hand. I’ve disabled animation, but that doesn’t work. It feels the developer would rather we reboot than fix the issue.

Shuffling the deck. Please look at how the deck (random?). Seems unlikely on how these decks are shuffled. Also, I like how I can move the kings location, so that I can isolate them to one side. I like that to be available to move ALL. THANKS

Fast and fun game!. Enjoy the game but warning, it’s very addictive and it’s hard to stop playing!

No moves. It seems like “there are no moves left” more often than not.

Netflix games yea!. This one has more pleasant sound effects than other solitaire games, and is more challenging than others. Makes you think.

Love it. Great alternative to sitting front of the tv and to do in between reading. Keeps the mind sharp.

Additive. One of the greatest pastime activities ever! I can sit for hours on hand just playing solitaire. It exercises the brain, vision, speed and response while navigating to solve the puzzle. I love it!!!

Somewhat glitchy. Over all a good game but i think that there are a few glitches

Too easy or too hard. There are three types of scoring and they are either extremely easy, standard, or extremely hard, Vegas style. Vegas style has no explanation of the rules and in one configuration you get one pass through the deck and then you are done. Dark mode is ugly and hard to follow. Generally one of the lamest solitaire games available.

Fun game. I can not stop playing, so much fun for my brain!

Great game. Great game and I have had no problems, but I do think developers should try to add all versions of solitaire rather than just classic. (No idea if there already is I just don’t see it in settings)

Crashing 10x a day. I still like the game but it’s gotten infuriating with the number of times it’s crashing every day. It’s so disappointing 😰

Just the Solitaire ma’am.. Netflix have got it right with this take on Solitaire. Nice customization option allows you to put your own picture on the back of the card. Just one feature request: can we have left handed mode? Reverse the layout so is lefties don’t have to put our paws over the screen to play.

No ads. Much more enjoyable without waiting for ads to finish.

Solitaire revisited. I played solitaire as a child and I’m sure it improved my arithmetic and later my mathematics.

Keeps requesting to authenticate when on plane Wi-Fi. Used to love this game on long flights, but a recent update has now made that impossible. It now keeps asking me to authenticate myself every few minutes.

Bit of Fun!. Easier than playing with actual cards, though cards are fun for going old school. Only dislike is when the cards all just move at the end. Would prefer to do it myself. Feels all woah what?!

Nice. I like this app. I wish multiplayer was online, seems to be the computer instead solving the pack (like when they show you when you’re stuck)

Great app but custom card back image bug. Well made app, satisfying UI, good daily challenges, what’s not to like? The only issue is a bug that I recently noticed - if you assign a custom image for your card back the image is used but it has a big black rectangle in the middle of it, blocking out a part of the image. I feel like this maybe didn’t happen before the last update, but I wasn’t really using custom backs before so I could be wrong. Anyway just reporting this here since I couldn’t figure out how to log a bug report through Netflix support. Thanks!

Irritating as all get-out. Major flaw. The app assumes you want to add cards to the foundation as soon as they can be added. This spoils game play. There are strategies that require a delayed or never used move of cards to the foundation. By auto moving cards, it disrupts advanced play, as you work to undo auto moves. This should be a selectable option.

♠️♥️♣️♦️. Only problem is the custom card backs have a black rectangle in the middle of them. This does not exist in the regular version of this game.

Why is it so hard?. I’m not the best at solitaire, but holy moly this version is hard. The daily challenge for March.28th is literally impossible. I tried many different times and even used the Help function as much as possible and I still failed. Solitaire is meant to be fun, not frustrating.

Hint. If there is no useful move left, I should not cycle trough the remaining 10 cards. Can we get on this please? I love that there is no adds. Thanks Netflix.
