PetDesk Comments & Reviews 2026
The Wilson Fur Babies. We have been coming to Dr Schuler for 13 years and they have taken care of all dogs and cats and have done a fantastic job!! All of my animals have loved all the Vets and Staff very much!! When I lost my Riddick over the Rainbow Bridge they were all very comforting to the family and sent us the sweetest card which we appreciated so much. I also want to give hats off to the Front Desk ladies who do a wonderful job of taking care of not only the Fur Babies and there owners!! I am not sure if I am spelling Renie’s name right or is it Rainy but she is an outstanding employee who goes beyond her job to help the customers and of course the Fur Babies she is definitely an asset to your business! I just want to Thank each and everyone of you for all your service and time when we come here!
Love the app and it’s functionality!. A few years back our local vet switched over to this and at first I was hesitant, but we’ve use this app countless times and it is incredibly simple with great functionality. You’re able to go through and select your animal that you need to bring in. Do you have the option to select what is needed such as a follow up or an emergency etc. which is very nice. Once you’ve selected what you need at that point you go through and get your animal all set and when you show up they are ready and expecting you. You’re also having to go through here and get medication orders taken care of which is also very nice. I don’t know if you’ve got pets I would definitely say this is a must have app.
One request. I just downloaded because my vet’s office is using it for appointments and I really like the app so far. Recently my dog went on a medication regimen so I use the app for reminders on his medication. I like this feature but it would be more convenient if there was an end date was an option. My dog needs to repeat different doses at different times so I always have to keep up with the end date of my dog’s regimen. It would be better if the app did this for me. For example, I need to give 2 tablets of medication for 3 days, then 1 tablet for 5 days, then 1 tablet every two days. I have to set the reminder to repeat but then when the first dosage plan ends, I have to edit the reminder to end repeat before I start on the next one. Right now, I just edit the title with the last date I need to give the dose. It would be great for this small change! Otherwise, great app! I’ll update when I start to use it more
The pet desk app. This is a great way to keep track of appointments and thing on ur pet or pets. Also if u have questions u can email them and someone will get back with u if not and emergency then i suggest u call them. There a great team of drs and techs and receptionist. They cared for my last dog from day one till the day we put her down a few weeks ago. Now we have a new pup and picked a dr to follow us thru. Love this place they are everything u would want to have loving ur pet from day one. Highly recommend place to go and to send friends and other family.
Clinic. This app allowed me to find Lexington Pet Clinic who had a vaccination for my rabbit that no other clinic had on hand. (None that I could find close to my home at least). They were a bit of a drive, but I went out anyways. They have very lovely staff who are communicative and supportive. The app allows me to connect with the clinic in a swift, easy manner. Lexington Pet Clinic has been kind enough to me that I considered switching to them instead of my primary vet after only two visits. I have been going to my primary vet for about 2 years. Thank you Lexington for taking care of my baby Coco 🥰
Looks amazing but.... The app is very intricate and well managed. I love how you can add reminders and to-do lists. I bet these features are amazing and I would rate it a higher rating but unfortunately the app will not allow me to add reminders of any sort. I was only able to add my pet profiles and providers. It won’t let me add any sort of record/reminder of given medications, vaccines, etc. Every time I fill out every field for the reminder and click create, a pop-up that states “Sorry. Request failed: bad request (400)” appears. At first I thought it was because I didn’t fill in every field but that wasn’t the case. Plus I deleted the app and downloaded it again, nothing. Please sort this problem out, I would hate to leave this bad review over an issue that can be resolved. I really want to be experiencing the app that most of the pet owner community is buzzing about!
Dr. Little (who’s not very little @ 6’11”+). STAFF; They are very accommodating! As some know, I have a hard time getting around, they always have someone come out to my vehicle & carry my pet(s) inside. They make you and your pets comfortable starting as early as making the call into the office for the appointment. DR. LITTLE; He is very “knowledgeable” about diagnosing the problem and treating it accordingly. He treats your pet with respect and compassion! He also explains the treatment plan so you can understand it. THE FEES; Oh even they can’t help with the rising cost of medications for your pet. Thankfully they do have plans you can apply for which are interest free over quite a long period before they add on interest! OVERALL; Dr. Little is a third or forth Generation Veterinarian, there is “No” Doubt in my mind, this young man has followed in the footsteps of some very intelligent doctors! We will continue to bring our pets as long as he’s in practice!
The EMR comes to vets. The electronic medical record has done nothing but degrade the patient and physician experience in health care for humans. I hate to see it metastasizing into our otherwise wonderful vet care. Though the animals don’t care, I sent a message days ago about a medication issue and have heard nothing back. Fortunately something I was able to work out myself (I think) but the lack of response doesn’t reassure. I do not blame the vet. Human docs hate the amount of time EHR takes — my PCP shouldn’t be emailing me at 9:30 pm— and how it paradoxically distracts from the physician-pt connection and doesn’t focus of actual care, bec these programs are developed to prompt and capture chargeables. The human ones don't convince us that they consulted people doing the care. Yay, progress. We’ll see what happens.
Wonderful Experiences Always. The staff is extremely friendly, they understand my children (fur babies). They respond to calls right away, remember my babies & their issues & take everything into consideration and get us in to be seen in a timely manner. The techs are just as attentive & caring. I FEEL the dr’s treat my babies like they do their own & I always appreciate how above & beyond they go for their care. They aren’t only caring & sensitive but do all they can to find the issue & try to help & make things better. My one dog’s allergies were so bad & the shots & meds stopped helping. They suggested blood test to look for allergies & they were 100% right. My dog was allergic to the food he was eating all his life! Who would have thought, not me but they did! He’s much better with his new food. This place is animal friendly, takes care of them with love & cares about their parent’s feelings as well & that means a lot!!
Ridiculous. We suddenly lost our cat and we were getting email reminders to refill medicines that we no longer need/ were kind of upsetting. My husband has been attempting to unsubscribe/ close this account to stop the emails from coming. When he initially requested this to be done he was asked for a reason which he gave. We then got ANOTHER email asking why we want to cancel this account. I understand that information will be lost when the account is closed and you want to insure there’s no issues. But just MAYBE when someone tells you their pet has passed away you don’t need to send insensitive emails asking for a SECOND time why we are closing the account???? If we ever do get a pet again in the future I will for sure never ever sign up for the junk again. Thank you for your insensitivity.
So Frustrating!. This app is a fabulous idea, but it’s rarely correct. I get hung up on pretty much everything I try to do on it. The appointments are never right, I get reminders for appointments that have already passed (as in months ago), and just now I tried to update the picture on my puppy’s profile and got stuck in the picture selection process. I can’t get back to the profile page, or any other page in the app for that matter. Now I just have to wait an hour or more to get back in and try again. The only thing it seems to get right all the time is trying to sell you pet health insurance. It’s frustrating to the point that I rarely use the app anymore. Unless I’m in the mood for an unnecessary challenge, I avoid opening it. Honestly, I wish my vet would just hook up with another app.
Most caring veterinarians you can hope for. We have been taking our pets to PMC for years. We couldn’t have been more blessed to find the most caring and knowledgeable staff anyone could hope for. They explain step by step what they think and how they want to proceed. Weather your pet is seriously ill or is coming in for a checkup. They all have helped our family go through some of the most difficult times in pet ownership. They treat your pet just like you would, a loved and important family member. Thank you PMC.
Awesome App!. Such an easy and hassle free way to request med refills, make appointments, etc., etc. I imagine it helps the busy vet office out, too so they’re not bombarded with phone calls for things that can easily be handled via the app. Very user friendly, no frills or confusing hoops to jump through to get what you need. You get feedback for every request you make so you know the office staff has received your inquiry. I also love the paw some rewards. As someone who buys medication regularly it adds up! I haven’t cashed in yet but I’m already up to the max amount required for a free office visit. All in all an excellent app that makes managing your pets needs very easy. Two paws up for me!
All Pet-Related Apps Should Have a Memorial Function. My cat was put down. After he died, and no longer was an active pet of mine at my vet clinic that uses this platform, his entire profile was deleted without my knowledge or say-so for my account. It feels like losing him all over again. What a stupid, stupid oversight. I should be able to access his profile, the picture I uploaded for him, and any of his records, whenever I please—regardless of whether or not he is still alive and in need of care. *PETCO*, of all companies, has this function! It is absolutely inexcusable for a veterinary care app to not have the option to memorialize your pet’s profile as well. This has been so distressing I am seriously considering switching vets to a clinic that does not use PetDesk. The development team should be ashamed of themselves.
Unnecessary app, cannot use on iPad in landscape mode. The app is small in size and does what it purports to do with a good interface…fine for a smartphone. For an iPad however, the app will only open in portrait mode, useless for those of us with iPad and cases with keyboards. I never use my iPad in portrait mode, never have. There is also the question of need; this solves a non-existent problem as I can get everything I need about my pet, their veterinary services, and their online pharmacy from the vet’s website. Much easier, no app needed. Another issue: the App Support link in the Apple Store just connects to a 404 missing link. Not helpful in any way.
Make an appointment feature is awful.. The app is fine but when you request an appointment you don’t get every option you need an appointment for, no big deal, however, there’s a request date of appointment and time. Ok, fine. Well, 9/10 times I’ve ever requested times, it’s always met with “we’re fully booked that day. Call for appointment” if you have a request appointment option, don’t make it a one day (I left times open 8 days out from open to close) request option. Make it known what days you have available and the times not just a “sorry that’s fully booked and call for appointment” that defeats the purpose of request an appointment.
Great app but needs a bit of work. I use this app a lot since I have many pets to keep track of. There are a few things that need to be addressed and would love to see updates for it. You cannot put notes in as the type box comes up and blocks the view so it is useless. You cannot see what you are viewing. The reminders are very confusing and when I am late for something, I don’t know if it sets the reminder again for the date when I actually finished the task or what I had scheduled. I really do not know how that works at all. Also I would like to put in how many months for reminders. There are some that are due in 9 months but have no way of putting that in. The option is either 6 months or 12 months.
Pointless app. I do not know why this app exists. Supposedly it is so you can book appointments with your vet, and have it save all your pet information. But in reality you cannot use the app, you have to go to the website (if you try in app it just opens a browser). Then you have to enter all the information about the appointment you want again, except this time none of your pets info is saved so you have to manually enter it. If I have to do that why have it saved on the app. If I have to use the website to book and none of the information from the app transfers why have the app. This app is just a waste of space. Save your self the memory on your phone and just use the website if you have too.
Multiple locations. I like the app and I rate my Vet highly. However, there was one problem that I experienced with managing my appointment via the app. I made my appointment on the app and subsequently realized that it had placed me at my Vet’s location that is 45 minutes away, instead of the one 10 minutes away. I called the office and they changed it for me. Later, I received 2 confirmations via the app. I confirmed the one I wanted & cancelled the other and I received a confirmation of my appointment at the right one. However, when we arrived for the appointment, my cancellation of the wrong appointment had wiped out my good appointment as well. They worked it out for me, but I think that this app is not built to handle multiple Vet locations for the same entity. Perhaps this issue can be resolved. Thank you.
Flawed but Lovely App. A great app for recording stats on your pets, like their age, weight, and diet. You can set alarms for their medications or feeding, and it works effectively for all sorts of pets (I use it for my dogs, cat, turkey, and chickens, but the features would be equally useful for animals like tortoises, snakes, fish, rodents, or rabbits). However, there are a few clunky features, especially with setting reminders. I feel like you should be able to set your pets into groups for reminders. I like being able to remind myself when to feed my chickens or dogs, but they always eat at the same time, so I just have to choose one animal to represent all of them instead of being able to place the reminder for multiple animals at once. But for the most part, this is a great app.
Design Flaw? Developers not responding.. I use a password manager and my passwords can be pretty long. It requires a copy/paste function for the password input box, since the passwords are just too long to type in. This app does not let me paste a password in the input screen. I’ve never run into any other app that has apparently disabled the paste function to input a password. Perhaps it would work on a desktop, but not on my iOS devices. Don’t know if this is by design or accident. Without being able to log in, the app is pretty useless for me. Update. Still no changes and no reply. I don’t understand the purpose behind any app that doesn’t allow a password manager to input login credentials. It’s almost as if they are encouraging weak passwords. Still won’t use that kind of app.
Loss. Our first visit and it was to put our 14year old dog, Molly to sleep. This was our first time going through this process. The nurses/technicians and doctor came out to the car. Very understanding, empathetic, and caring. Then we returned the next morning after being at the ER vet with our 2 year old cat Freckle, who passed away of liver failure. Again the nurses/technicians and doctor were phenomenal. My daughter and I crying and very upset. They did everything to make us feel better. There really isn’t enough I can say about everyone and how wonderful they are and how well we were taken care of along with our beloved pets.
Not inclusive of farm animals, doesn’t track pets history. I was very excited when my large animals vet began using this app. Until I realized that there isn’t a species option for “goat” “cow” “chicken” “pig” or “duck”. I have had to register all of my goats as “dog” because when the “other” category is selected there is a glitch which will not let you advance through the rest of the pet profile. All of my cows are registered as “Horse” again, because of the same glitch that doesn’t allow processing with “other” selected. Also, I really expected this to function as a “MyChart” for pets and when my vet came to the farm I told them I was so excited I would be able to track vaccinations and health exams through this app. They looked at me like I had two heads. They told me they don’t have a way to input information into the app, and they didn’t even know the practice had begun using the app. So, maybe I can kind of make appointments, but it’s really disappointing otherwise, and not farm friendly or inclusive.
Surprisingly Well Implemented😃. I was not very excited to use the PetDesk App when my vet recommended it. But, after giving it a try, it’s been fantastic. I haven’t noticed any bugs, and it’s been very reliable. I can see a quick-glance view of my pets, and all the important information regarding my pets gets filled in automatically and remotely by my vet the first time they have an appointment. It’s one of those diamond-in-the-rough apps, where there “rough” is more like “Ruff!” GET IT cause it’s like a dog barking HAHAH I’m so funny. But yeah, awesome app! I look forward to keeping track of the health of my pets with it. The medication reminders are very helpful as well; after trying PetDesk, I’ve never forgotten to give meds!
Best Vet in the area. I recently went to visit this Vet and took my dog who had a small growth on her paw. She removed it. Very successfully and did an excellent job. I like that she took us in the room to look at the x-ray and show us exactly what was going on with her. She was and it showed on the x-ray. She even showed us that her liver was enlarged and showed this not just word given, so with that being said, I will only go back to her. I will be switching all of my animals, the results came back benign thankfully she called me personally on the phone and spoke with me what a great experience with someone who really cares about our animals highly recommended.
Great app! A small flaw though.. There isn’t an option to message my veterinarian through the app. However, I don’t know if that’s the app itself or my vet may not have it set up. Other than that, the app is very easy to navigate, very user friendly. It lets you view everything from vet records to prescription medications and their ability to deliver those as well as other food or vet recommended products. My vet’s address, phone number, and photo of the clinic itself make it very easy to contact them via phone. You can also request appointments in the app. I’ve used it to make appointments and order medications to be picked up from the vet, but I may start ordering them to my home monthly due to my work schedule. It’s hard for me to get there during the day so the delivery will be a life saver. If there were an option to send a message to the vet for questions about care or other needs, or if the app developer(s) can explain why there isn’t that option, I’d rate it the full five stars. That is really my only qualm about the app. It’s an amazing app and I have recommended it to other pet owner friends of mine and will continue to do so. Great job y’all!
Great care of all 4 legged family. Have been going here a very long time. Dr Schrader fixed my lab Xena when she got hurt. Then later when she was dx with back leg meniscus dr Findley helped her and helped us in how to care for her without surgery. After that visit I transferred all our 4 legged family members here. Dr Findley has helped many of our family to better health. This time we saw dr Brian K He was very nice explaining everything. Apollo liked him also. The staff are nice and make a fuss over all of their patients. We have needed help in the past for payment of a problem and they were very accommodating. And never once did we feel that were bad fur parents for asking for payment plans. I have recommended this practice many times over the years. Thank you for help with problems and just routine checks
No SMS message. Really needed a prescription yesterday. Was told by my vet I would receive a text message. I did NOT. I did receive message in app and email (neither of which I was checking), but no SMS. And yes, I do have SMS turned on in the app and yes, my cell phone number in my information is correct. Not sure what the problem is. So now I am sitting outside my vet’s office a day late waiting to get my pet’s meds. And I have now tried a dozen “nicknames” in order to send review, all of which are taken including a random list of letters.
Basic but could be better with few improvements. Overall, great user friendly app. However, I would LOVE to be able to upload files from the get, have a record tracker document area in it that can refer back to such as vaccines instead of just showing upcoming reminders/schedules. Would also love to track puppy’s weight as we continue to visit (I know you can put the weight in the profile but can fluctuate / if a puppy they are growing). I’ve been trying to find another app to keep all health records but would love to be able to do it all in one.
The best and most talented and caring. We found Newport Animal hospital through a friend when our nearly 11 year old Westhighland Terrier was diagnosed with n stage kidney disease. Our other vet misadvised us and basically wrote our Willie off. Dr Andrew confirmed his critical kidney disease however he took him off unnecessary medications which he had been put on by our other vet, he proactively started IV fluids on a daily basis to aid his kidneys, he gave us food that was healthy and Willie liked (He did this 2 times) and he and his colleague Dr. Amy, along with his technicians and people at the front desk were and are so caring, thoughtful, and skilled! We are so grateful that we found this animal hospital which delivers state of the art personal care to our dog, that we will bring our other dogs to them from here on in! I have experienced many animal hospitals and veterinarians as we have had dogs throughout our lives but Newport Animal Hospital with its bright and talented doctors and caring and skilled staff is the best I have ever experienced!
Great for Medical Appointments. Loved this app because it helped me find good veterinary providers for my rescue. She has some medical needs but most of her care is maintenance. This app has a great feature for keeping track of meds for dogs with a complicated med schedule. The main improvement Id like is a scheduler for foods so I can remember what supplements (or human foods) I add throughout the week to make sure my pup gets a balanced diet without feeding her the exact same thing everyday. I want to be able to look back and make sure I haven’t been too redundant with supplements and she has a diverse diet that keeps her happy and out of emergency vet visits. Shes also older, so I want to have a record of her food so I can make adjustments as she ages.
Always updating. Tried to enter information, went to save and get the red sign telling me that they are currently updating my experiencce with even more features. On a Monday morning? Really?!? For hours?!? Is the app gonna make me some breakfast too? It should if it takes that long to upload new features. Or maybe the app was not ready to roll out and the vets bought a pig in a poke. OMG! Got an email today from PetDesk apologizing for my bad experience. The asked that I email their customer support so they can get more information. Well, how do you like them apples? It only took a month and a half to respond. That has to be some kind of record, I’m sure of it, especially whem snail mail is faster than your email. I know, your site was updating with important new features! That’s the ticket! I won’t be sending an email to support as I approach retirement age, and I suspect I’ll reach that age long before support can possibly respond. I’ll just talk to my vet and explain it all to him. He is the one that is ultimately is adversely affected by a bad app.
Not enough explanations. My primary interest in this app is to see the lab results for my cats, but you have to be a vet to understand the information. If a result is above or below the standards there’s nothing to explain why and/or what the significance is of the result. Most are just initials, for example WBC, which I assume is white blood count, but there’s nothing here to help you as a pet owner. In my personal blood results things that are concerning appear in red and an explanation is given along with a recommendation to discuss with your doctor. With vet costs equal to and exceeding personal health care costs more information needs to be provided to help pet owners make educated decisions regarding care for their pets. Regarding the other sections I can more easily call my vet directly to get the information.
New Pt visit. From the moment I called for appointments for my dogs, Axel and new puppy Winston. The staff treated us with kindness and professionalism. The building has super cute curb appeal, the flowers etc spoke to me. Front office and the exam room was tidy, clean and welcoming. The entire staff ( I wish I knew everyones names) was knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. Dr Patterson was very approachable and again super nice. I feel they treated us with respect and took their time listening to us and our concerns. All the staff answered all our questions, eased our concerns and made us feel like we mattered. Thank you so much, for taking care of our pups. Your kindness is greatly appreciated. The Schillers
Stick with calling! Another wasted trip because of PetDesk. We scheduled for a dental appointment in advance on PetDesk for a dental for our cat. We drove all the way to veterinarian one on the scheduled appointment day but were refused because of PetDesk appointment glitch—this is NOT the first time PetDesk app has screwed up appointment scheduling. We already know that for a dental appointment you have to only click on the Dental option (do not click on other options) or it will not book with the correct appointment priority type of availability. We drove over 50 miles with our senior cats again for a wasted vet visit and had to schedule in person instead of the PetDesk app. We are so upset and disappointed and FRUSTRATED with the PetDesk Ap. Our cat really needed his dental and we miss work (Which enables us to PAY for the vet visits) to take our cats to the vet.
Unreliable, can do more harm than good. This app is used by my vet to manage appointments and communication. It failed at the latter miserably and, as a result, put my pets’ health at risk. I took our newly adopted cats to the vet on 9/12. The vet prepared parasite medicine on the next day given their test results. Even though I enabled all forms of push notifications in the app - banner, email, text - nothing came. Unfortunately, the vet put too much trust in the app and didn’t call me until three weeks later noticing the medication had not been picked up. For god’s sake, the worms are not hurting the cats too badly. If this were some more serious illnesses, a delay in weeks could have really jeopardized their lives! I will certainly find another vet after this experience and hope the next one does not use the same app.
A review for the PetDesk app. I think the PetDesk app has changed. Or a few things that was on it before that I no longer see. It is not changed for the better. I was very happy with it before, but not now. Things that have changed: 1. I can no longer find my Pet’s lab work, testing, etc. that has been done. 2. I was able to see older Appointments, lab results, x-rays & even older medicines. But I cannot locate them now. It was nice to be able to have that info to compare to prior studies. That way you knew if your pet was getting better or worse. 3. If you could give a little instructional video of how this app works that would be great. Please please turn the app back to the former version.
First Time Visit. I was impressed at the service of the staff and their efficiency. Coupled with warm greetings and professionalism. Dr. Treated my bunny Mocha with such care and educated me on the treatment of fleas which I was shocked because Google seems to think bunnies don’t get guess. Boy, were they wrong. I’m was anxious about Mochas bald spot on his head but after the Dr. assured me it was fleas I felt so relieved because it at least it wasn’t depression or dental issues. Mocha was given an inflammatory injection and is now home resting. I was able to buy the RX right from PetCo and two supply from PetMeds. I was happy that Mocha has a new Dr and staff that love him. Oh the exam price was so affordable. I’m super happy it did not cost that much. Thank You South Shore Pet Clinic! Bunny Mocha says hi.
Need to fix flaws in updated version 9.01. I have been using the Pet Desk app for a few years and had been satisfied with appointment scheduling. I downloaded the update upon prompting by the app and am so disappointed that I am thinking of deleting the app. Here are the issues: 1) Privacy & Cookies-there is no option to NOT accept all cookies. If you click on the Privacy Policy thinking there might be an option to decline some cookies, you will be stuck in a multi page legal disclosure without an option to choose certain cookies. 2) Scheduling Appointments-I reluctantly chose “ Accept All Cookies” after several attempts to find a work around to not accept all cookies had failed. I tried to schedule a technician appointment for my pet and wanted to schedule in 1-2 weeks time. I was only offered dates for this week (of which no appointments were even available) and could not choose a date past April 11th. I did not experience these issues prior to the recent app update. At this time, I cannot recommend Pet Desk until the aforementioned issues are resolved. AND NOW, This app is not accepting any nickname to submit this review. Shady!
I love PetDesk!. Super handy app! I really appreciate the pet desk app, it’s a great place to have easy access to your dogs records. I love how you can set reminders and even request appointments in it. I was really impressed with the app one time my dog hurt herself after hours and so we had to go to the urgent care vet, and because he was able to look and see her records from her recent physical he felt totally fine prescribing her some painkillers, even though he wasn’t her usual Vet. So just beyond impressed and thankful for PetDesk thanks for making such a great app!
Could be much better. I began using this app several years ago after my dog’s vet began using it. I just had to remove my miniature schnauzer after he passed away and, although the procedure to do it is straightforward, I find it to be insensitive. You could have the app reply to the request with a list ok 4 or 5 possible reasons for the removal including “Diseased” and if it’s checked, the app could then reply with a short condolence. Instead the dog’s name disappears and that’s it. Also the “To Dos” list is basically inoperative. The completed items just shows a list of items that were completed 2 years ago. I don’t need the app to make appointments with vet service providers because I can call them directly. To me the most valuable feature was the “To Dos”. If that doesn’t work then I’ll remove the app.
Best Vet. I've had dogs for my entire adult life and this is the best animal clinic I've ever been to in 20 years. All around, 100% satisfied with the treatment she receives. They take time to thoroughly explain everything that is going on with my dog. They have taught me about diet, about her chronic issues with her ears, and about the medications they offer. I have never felt like they are in a hurry to get to another patient they spend all the time I need with them to make sure we get the best experience out of your visit. Highly recommend this practice.
Review. There was a mix up on the location(which admittedly has as much to do with the PetDesk app saying the wrong location as it had to do with me for not checking and confirming.) They we’re still able to fit us in despite the location mix up. Other than that, the assistant(?) that helped us was both nice and professional, great job! It all went pretty smoothly and they showed respect and patience to the dogs. Altitude is expensive but they do match up their services with that price
Good app but not without bugs. This is a great app when you are able to sync with your Vet. We had trouble with this but the vet took care of sorting out. A couple of issues on the "to-do" list mostly related to syncing with your iCal. First this app doesn't seem to update dates if you miss a dose or off by a couple of days. You would figure it would recalculate the next due date for something like heart worm and update it in the calendar but it doesn't. Next because of this lack of updating dates when you try to manually edit the to-do it doesn't sync to iCal (even though sync is switched on). This provides a challenge because if you forget to change the calendar you now have 2 dates to figure out which is correct. Lastly in the completed section of the app it seems to not register that you checked the box off in a completely different date and marks the history as the scheduled date and not the actual dosed date. At least when checking the box it should ask when the dose was actually given. Too many holes in this app to actually make it worth using, better off using reminders.
Good but not great - Suggestion. I like most of the things about this app. It’s pretty easy to use, my vet seems to like it, I can easily see some of the information I need. However, there’s a huge missed opportunity. When I make an appointment, I want to be able to put in notes to list whatever issues my dog is having and keep that for future reference. It needs to have a place for my vet to add diagnostic notes, instructions, etc and a weight tracker. There was an old app that had this and is no longer available but I loved it. Made it easy to see trends and remember all the problems we had dealt with. With 5 current dogs and 5 no longer with us, it’s hard to keep track of and remember ever little thing that I need. Also, while I love the lab results being available, I have no idea what any of that means. I would love for my vet (or me) to be able to enter notes and translate all of that into something understandable to someone with no medical background. Finally, I’d like to be able to “archive” a pet’s profile when they pass on rather than delete it. It just seems harsh to remove them, but maybe losing 4 in two years made me over-sensitive to that.
Super helpful app!. It’s really easy to use, and so helpful. You link it to your vets account for your pet(s) and then you can see all your pets info. I just got a notification today that my dog is due for her rabies vaccine, which I probably would have forgotten about, if I hadn’t gotten a reminder. I know a lot of vets send post card reminders or call, but to me a notification on my phone is faster and more efficient (for both me and the vet) so I love it. Also they sent me a “Happy birthday” message for my pups birthday a few months back which I thought was sweet!
User friendly, reliable, and CONVENIENT. This app makes the busy pet parent’s life so much easier! It’s user friendly, reliable, and best of all, convenient! You can manage your own pet profile(s) and how you’d like to communicate with service providers like groomers or veterinarians, and it makes it easy to have everything you need organized into one place. You can schedule an appointment and even request your pet’s records with the touch of the button - no need for a phone call. I use it both as a dedicated dog mom and as a team member at a veterinary hospital and can’t say enough good things about PetDesk. Their support team is also very accessible and knowledgeable.
Major flaw in giving pet medications. There is a major flaw in this app when giving your pets medications. First, it does not act like the Apple health app so that you can log the exact time when the medication was taken or, in this case, given to your pet. This means that if you set up the medication to give it every day at noon, but you don't give it until 3:40 PM, the medication is still going to show as though it was given at noon. For certain medications that are time sensitive, you want to make sure they are only given every 24 hours. It's very important to keep track of the exact time the medication was taken. This is a fatal flaw in this app, especially for cats on chemotherapy. In addition, there should be an Apple Watch app with a complication for pet owners to use.
Visit for Chance. Our visit for Chance, our 12 week old German Shepherd, went perfectly, we got there, was greeted promptly and friendly, we were taken back to a room and didn’t wait even 2 minutes when the Doc came in! Chance was looked over, given his shots and we were released right away! Awesome!! Then when we were checking out, I was short on funds and was able to pay on my next payday, which was in two days. They had no problem with my income info, the prices were right, and trusted me to pay them back! I love this place, Riverview Veterinary hospital is the best around!!
Nice, but needs a bit of coding help. I like that you can schedule appointments and have an easy place to organize most of your pet’s information. There is a fairly annoying bug in that you cannot delete old messages and continue to get reminders—even postcards!—for things already taken care of. For example, the practice forgot to save two of my pets’ records, even though they had them, and set a reminder for me to provide them again. I did. They had them. PetDesk had them. The reminders were deleted from the practice’s systems. But PetDesk continued to remind me about them and there’s no way for either myself or the practice to delete the message with reminder out of PetDesk. You also cannot add OTC medicines to the pet’s medicine list from the user’s side, creating an incomplete record. Finally, you can only add one note per pet, and that is limited to a certain number of characters. This is prohibitive and again leads to an incomplete record. As pets age, people need to be able to track weights, breathing records, and will have increasing questions for vets, all of which could be stored in the pet’s notes... if you could have multiple notes with unlimited character text boxes. Very close to being a great app. Fix the coding on these few things, and it will be ready.

Pet Desk. Excellent App Keeps Everyone Informed Well With Regards To ALL Services Provided, Service interruptions and Appointments Necessary and Upcoming
Français. This app should also be accessible in French.
Thank you. The staff and Dr Patel at the clinic are the best I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment I walked in the door I was helped by them. Kind considerate and informative with a concerned cat owner. What a relief to found you wonderful people. Thank you for all your help ,professionalism, care and compassion . I highly recommend your clinic!
Good App. Nice to be able to contact my clinic via the app. Would give 5 stars if you could also review invoices.
BAILY. Had in for vaccine love being reminded . Lady at desk very helpful with a bit of problem I had . She corrected it and apologized for the miscommunication. Everyone very nice
Easy to use. Was
Pet desk. Love the reminders and easy access for all my appointments
Rewards section. Something changed if I go into reward section ( the bottom page menu disappears) I have to delete app completely. Then go into store app find and reopen sign in. It repeats every time I try to look into reward.
Great app. It’s a great app and love that I can have record of my petsMedications, bloodwork and any other testing. The cons are maybe because it’s something new.. not all my pets info can always be found.
History. Would be nice to see a history of all appointments and treatments. Currently can only see future appointments and current ones drop off.
Years. I’ve been going to Clarence street veteran clinic for years now… I love that the entire team there they care,,, not only about your pet,, but they care about you!!! Informative,, they explain everything to you,, and you can always call and they help you over the phone.. I can’t express how much I love this vet he really loves animals!!
Gunners Annual Checkup. Visit was excellent. The vet and tech were very professional and listened to my concerns about Gunners health. They offered alternative solutions to his aging health issues. Gr8 visit, recommend this clinic.
Everything for your furry friend. Easy to navigate and handy
Excellent App. The app makes it so convenient to book any time of vet appointment with a reminder a few days ahead. Easy to navigate as well.
Convenient. Nice to be able to book during the evenings and weekends! And to have all their vaccine Information with me at all times 😁 when I was travelling I was able to show a doggy daycare my pups vaccines were up to date ! 😁
A brilliant app for pet lovers. I have constant contact with the most amazing team at the vets.Reminders for prescriptions and appointments. In this busy world this is the BEST app to keep my pets needs met!!!
Vet. Nice service but can’t seem to find our actual vet business?
Great idea. Love having all my girls Information available , easy to use
Excellent service and care. We have been coming for a very short period but the service and knowledge of Dr Hickey and staff has been excellent. We also appreciate the follow up phone calls and messaging.
Crash!. I updated Petdesk and it crashes no matter what I do. Frustrating.
Okay app, but has limitations. It seems to do most of the things it claims, but the inability to change the units to metric is very annoying. Likely won’t be using this as my primary pet app.
Love this application. I love to have all the information from my pet on this beautiful application
Appointments for Sasha. I have heard about the vet clinic from my family and friends and it is one of the most caring clinics around in kitchener . Sasha has arthritis and she is only 5 but with the right injections she can enjoy running and climbing the stairs and the best part to it is that there is no side effects !
App. They where fast at responding to my email 👍🏻
Amazing. This app is seriously amazing!!! I usually don’t like apps, they always seem to have so much jank to them, but this one… I absolutely LOVE it!! It helps keep my sanity for appointments for all my pups.. I mean I don’t have a crazy crew.. right?!! 😂 Thank you guys for coming up with this app!!! So impressed!!
Easy to Use. Makes scheduling vet appointments easy, adding pet photos is great to differentiate them and other details is easy too
The app. It works pretty good I was able to book my puppy in for his boosters no problem after setting up his profile
Good job. Amazing app easy to contact my vet …
Love using this to connect with the vet. Links to pages only have the option to allow all cookies, why can’t we choose non essential cookies to be blocked. This pop up makes it so I cannot submit the review of my vet visit. Unable to message the vet using chat.
PetDesk. Could be easier to use.
Français svp!. En anglais seulement!
Great vet. Burtch animal hospital best in Kelowna Highly recommend 5 star review from Gus thanks for being the best vet in Kelowna and for my amazing care 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Convenient App. It’s easy to use and convenient. I like being able to have all my kitties information in one area. I wish there was an allergies section though. Overall, I like it!
Wonderful. Nice to go to the app when you can’t remember when your next appointment with your furbaby is
5 out of 5 ⭐️. I like that all your pets information is at your finger tips and you are able to book appointments plus your vet lets you know when vaccinations are are due.
PetDesk is a great idea.. I wish all vets used it. It makes ordering prescriptions and booking appointments much easier.
Thank you this is a great way to keep track of your pets thanks. This is a great way
Error message keeps coming up. I keep getting an error about an unacceptable response time whenever I open the app
Convenient. That desk is a one stop shop for all your veterinarian needs. From ordering food to emergency contact numbers to all your pets information. I love it.
New app. This is a new way for me to keep my pets appointments organized and I am loving it…
BBs vaccine. I’m so thankful for all your good work I’m driving from Vancouver for my two BBs to be look after and be sure the both ok Vets are the best girls at the front desk are professional and sweetheart I love you guys and I don’t know what a do without you guys,I know my pups are safe on ur hands
Pet desk. I think I love Pet Desk.it takes me a little time to work it all out🙏but, what I really do like is how I can look up everything about Charlie in one place, especially his medical info. So well organized - which is important for me! No more loose papers!
Very easy to use and contact my local vet. I like the fact that this makes it really easy to book and appointment or renew a medication for my pet
Awesome!. Awesome!
Shrieking Dog. Has been going to Forrest Glade Animal Clinic for the last 5 years Erg happy with there services
Loved it, 400 error recently. We used this app a couple of years ago and loved it. Recently downloaded again and I’m getting a ‘Sorry, response code unacceptable: 400. This is happening with any action I try; adding a pet, editing, etc. I’ve deleted the app and am now getting the same error when I am trying to login. I’d love to be able to use it again!
Good for pet info. Unfortunately, it gets a failing grade when dealing with appointments & reminders! and numerous reminders from providers, that do not update their system or the PetDesk app and get lot of useless emails
Desktop. It’s a great reminder when you have a busy lifestyle
Wellness exam and vaccine. Great staff. Could handle ex- large Dog. Excellent price.
awesome. best app out there to receive your kids appointments and keep track if their stuff👍👍👍

Crashes, design problems. Switching to the app during account creation caused it to crash. This is because I switched to my password manager to create a new password for it, and switching back caused the crash. Now that I had a fresh password in the clipboard buffer, the app did not allow me to paste it into the password field. Forcing the users to manually type in a trivial password (like the horribly insecure “password1”) works, but in today’s internet you need longer, more complex passwords than that, and forcing a retyping results in typos and not being able to access the account. Great app idea and it looks like it’d be really useful. But it needs fixes.
My feline family. My name is Kim Turner, I have adopted four cats from the McKean County SPCA and the staff at your clinic has always been wonderful to my family and me. I had my late husbands dog in my care and she was old and not well, and the day I decided to have her put to sleep was very sad, and comforting as well. The staff, from the vet to the techs to the receptionists, are the reason why I would gladly recommend Potter County Veterinarian Clinic to anyone in need of the right place to take their fur family’
Great resource. I am new to this app. Every time I take my pets to the vets I get asked questions. The answers are always a phone call to my wife. Now I have what I need to know the answers like what meds and or supplements they may be on, shot records and flea and tick treatments. I plan to make use of this app. If I can provide this information to my pet sitter just in case an emergency would be very useful.
Appointments are not sorted!!!. The developer refuses to sort the pet’s upcoming appointments. My do is in physical therapy and is scheduled for up to 24 appointments at once. The appointments list in the app is next to worthless because they appear in random order. I can’t easily find when the next appointment is. I have brought this to their attention multiple times over the past six months. This new release claims “improvements to the appointments screen”, but there is NO improvement. I’m about to just delete the whole app. :-(
Service. Been using Powder Ridge for 15 yrs. with no complaints. The waiting room and exam rooms are clean and comfortable. When appointments are made your pet is seen on time or before always friendly. Just recently my pet Bruno (Dog) had a ear issue called and they got us in that day. Price is good and they never have tried to talk up other services that that “may” be needed. The Vets and MA’s are always friendly and explain what their doing and what the pet owner needs to do on follow up.
Great service!. Took our almost 10 yr old Lhasa Apso after having been a 14 yr customer at VCA. It’s like night and day between the two. In and out in less than an hour, service was great, and the ease of appointment via the app is huge for me. So glad we made the switch after having to put our other fur baby down last summer. Keep up the great work!
Doesn’t work. My cat is dying so I’m trying to reach the vet. I had to request an appointment time but the option glitched. I was unable to request an appointment time or send a message. Tomorrow my cat will probably be dead. I thought this app would be awesome for emergencies. Now I have an emergency and the app doesn’t work. I was really counting on this app and it really let me down in the worst possible way.
Frustrating grrrrr…... I have used the app for years - only because the vet recommended it for ease. Semi helpful as I still have to follow up with a call to request a specific doctor or ask questions. But used it nevertheless. Upon logging in today to make the yearly wellness check appointment I received a notice to update the app. Which I did. After the update, I attempted to log in. Didn’t work. I reset the password and was able to login. The vet office info was there but ALL data on my pets is gone! So now I can’t even make an appointment since I have no pets! Back to calling the vet’s office to make the appointment and deleting the app!
My dogs (puppies). Attention towards my dogs care is “A1 +++”. Always very personal attention. LOV the doctors there, Dr. Kayver & Dr. Hahn. I highly recommend Cadence Animal Hospital in Henderson. We recently moved from Hawaii to the Cadence area, and had an emergency for one of my dogs. Attention was given IMMEDIATELY and the treatment given at that time and after discharge was highly appreciated/satisfied. The follow-up attention .. impeccable… Thank you doctors for taken special attention to members of my family.. my dogs, Matti & Azabella.
Need to up your technical game. I loved this app until today. Unexpectedly, it logged me off and then I had to do a password reset to restart it and it still didn't work. After a tech-support phone calls with no help and then a tech-support email response to my contact form that was completely useless, and multiple access rejects by the app, I finally fixed the problem myself - only to have the support people erroneously reset my password. One of them finally admitted that the app was recently updated, which did not show up in any of the update processes on my iPad. What a mess.
Helpful if I don’t want to call the vet. This app helps me remember when I was last at the vet. It also helps me remember the name of medications. If I don’t feel like calling, the request features are nice. I don’t know if this is an issue on my vet’s side, but I don’t actually see results of tests or they are partial. I wish there were options for adding providers. “Boarders” search doesn’t even list them all. This time our dog will stay with a friend, and I wish I could add her name in case our dog needs a vet while we’re gone.
New client. I recently rescued a 3 month old kitten, and saw that Lillian Veterinary was right down the road from my house. I took lil Ms. Oakleigh there and they saw her right away, have a clean bill of health. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Oakleigh and I are very thankful for them. I would definitely recommend anyone in the Lillian area to check this place out. Clean, plenty of parking, and friendly staff. Thank you Ladies for all your help! You all are very appreciated!
Nice to have all this info in one place. It is nice that all your pets info is finally available at your fingertips but the only reason I gave it a 4 Star was I keep getting notifications daily for the same message I even go in and hit the x to I’m guessing delete it and at least twice daily sometimes more I get notification that I have something on this app and when I go in it is the same read and dealt with message that I keep getting.... it is very irritating!!
Love it! My pet’s medical history at a glance. I love having this. The dog profile picture gets sent to my vet, I get appointment reminders, I can make recurring reminders to give my dogs their flea & heartworm prevention. One suggestion for improvement is allowing the user to remove notifications from a prior vet, while still keeping the medical history. I moved around a bit and had to switch vets. But I keep getting overdue reminders for vaccines, from a vet I no longer go to.
App accesses your email account without any notice. I downloaded this because I got an invite from my vet. Within the app, there is an option to send an email directly to your vet. I merely thought I was filling out a form with my return email address when I used this to send an email to my vet. However, much to my shock, when I went into my Gmail account, I saw that this had actually initiated the email from directly within my email account as it was in my sent folder. I didn’t authorize this nor is there anything about this on the terms of service. Reported to Apple and deleted immediately.
Not a fan. I used this app to schedule my dogs appointment at the vet and gave a window of like 10:30-2. The appointment app then told me I had a time at 1 o’clock. Then 2 hours later it sent me another email telling me my dog had an appointment at 3. I called my vet to confirm the time and they stated I was in at 3. Later I got a reminder and a request to confirm my appointment at 1. I called again and they stated that she in fact did have an appointment at 3. So it scheduled my appointment during I time I did not request and it scheduled an appointment that I did not have. Don’t waste your time with this app, just call your vet and get it scheduled it’s way less painful.
If you want a doctor for your pet family this is the ONE. This veterinary office has fantastic doctors. Very clean. During the Covid they come pick up your baby from the car & return them. You can come in (I wear a mask out of courtesy) for the exam or they can bring the meds or food out to you. They are very contentious and care about your pet just about as much as you do. The techs are great and knowledgeable. I’ve been with them for almost 20 years and would NEVER go anywhere else.
Amazing Place. The team at Little Animal Hospital are amazing and wonderful. We would like to thank the entire team for all of their time, effort and talent for doing such a good job with our dog. Dr. Elizabeth is a wonderful vet with top notch surgical skills. Carmen, a receptionist, brought her dog up to let him be a blood donor for our dog. Amazing! She doesn’t even know us. Everybody that works there were friendly, and compassionate, and did an outstanding job. Kudos to Dr. Elizabeth and team!
Very helpful!. This app is so organized to help you manage your pet and their upcoming appointments, reminders for medications, and quick important contacts. It helps a lot to remember what/when meds your pet needs and how to give them the meds. It really keeps you connected to your primary vet. I love that you customize it for your pet and it’s quick and easy to access important information. I highly recommend!
Care Takes Love. I am so pleased to say that for over 12 yrs our pets have been well cared for in our home and by the team at The Macungie Animal Hospital. We, both owner and pet, always find ourselves in knowledgeable and loving care when we receive their services. I drive a good distance to maintain my relationship with this veterinary team, by choice. So for the professional and kind attention, I give MAH 5+ stars and say, “thank you for your sign, COME, HEAL“. You are devoted to your patients and your clients.
It’s got potential. I was so excited to see this app and that’s what ultimately made me go with my vet clinic nearby. But I had issues requesting an appointment - to the point where when I called a couple days later they had never gotten my request. I also had issues with the drop down menus during pet account set up. It’s got soooooo much potential! I mainly wish I could just make an appointment through the app. But understand the request instead of just book an appointment.
PetDesk & trust in veterinarians@AVH SONOMA CA. Always feel confident in going into this particular facility, confident that every individual there is going to take care of me and my pet in the best way that they can. Thoughtful, kind, professional and knowledgeable staff and doctors give me a great sense of security and a great sense of trust. Their work with me and my pets have always been “top notch”❣️ Petdesk is easy to use and always a great reminder and keeps very well up-to-date on everything concerning my precious Pet.
Helpful app, but could be more feature rich. This app is nice for keeping track of the basics and upcoming things for your pet. I do wish there was an easier way to see a list of all past shots / vaccines / immunizations other than e-mailing yourself, which results in a less than optimal format to share with others. Also, my vet says the admin side of the app is difficult to use, so not sure the longevity with any given veterinary business.
Overprepared us and gave great insight. So we signed up out in our info and then got our appointment info immediately. Also the vet asked if we would come back in 30 days to bring a fecal sample but PetDesk asked to bring today so we don’t have to come back. It told us to call ahead for instructions and we were able to choose to come in with a mask or just stay in the car. Felt super prepared and ready.
Love the app but can’t select appt reason. I love this app - or I I did until about four months ago. It was so easy to refill our dog’s meds! Honestly, I am not a phone person so I appreciated the convenience - especially as I give their meds at night and that’s when I would remember to submit the refill request. However about four months ago, the screen to “select a reason” for the service (appointment, refill, etc) went blank and I am unable to use the app any longer. I’ve deleted, reinstalled and even contacted customer support with no results. Can you help?
Dr Hugh Giffords, Sun City West Animal Animal Center of Sun City West, AZ. What a wonderful veterinarian, including all of his support staff. It was my first appointment but I knew his office and Dr. Giffords came highly recommended. I had attended a presentation he put on for our local pet club and it was excellent. You could tell from his demeanor and the course of his presentation that he was a very knowledgeable, caring and educated veterinarian who does his very best to help his beloved pet patients. I highly recommend Dr. Giffords.
Excellent service. I brought in one of my cats who had suddenly become ill. I was stressed and anxious of course, but the Cat Clinic was able to accommodate me and fit her into their schedule. The entire staff was kind, empathetic, supportive, and professional. They gave me step-by-step information on her exam and bloodwork, and answered all of my questions. They treated my cat with the utmost care. And fortunately they were able to provide medication that helped her immediately. Thank you!
Bailey. Staples Mill Animal Hospital was recommended by numerous people on the Montclair Kennel Club Facebook page. We were looking for a veterinarian who had experience with older dogs. After Bailey’s appointment, I can say that we have a good fit. I especially appreciate the patience and perseverance with Bailey since she tends to be agitated at any vet visit. I also appreciate that we can spread her updates and treatments over a period of time. This is a new experience for us. From the moment we entered the clinic, Kerrryn took the time to get to know Bailey. Dr Nelson did the same. There was no rush. (Thank you, Ladies. Believe me, I have seen Bailey quite anxious at the vets office. This was a different and new experience for her. ) Thank you for all you do. Mary H.
Very Caring. My Elly was frantically scratching and miserable all night one night and we got no sleep. I called to get an appointment and they worked her in to an already full schedule! They were so very kind and understanding and found two issues to treat and she is sooooo much better now! They are so very caring and even called me the next day to see if she was feeling better. I am grateful! They are definitely my veterinarian of choice!
Pretty decent - but.... This app is actually pretty decent and does exactly what it’s intended to do in a very good way, some good user interface design and good features. The only thing I would change about this app is the app icon, it’s pretty hideous. And when it comes to apps the first thing your user will see is the app icon and that speaks volumes about the quality of the app. Looking forward to this app’s growth and continued improvement.
Phoebe. I brought my cat Phoebe in for a check up and have her nails trimmed and was very impressed with the whole experience the place is spotless, the staff was very professional and the vet was very gentle and caring with Phoebe and I thank her for that this animal hospital is the only one i will ever go to i was nervous how they were going to treat her and was very relieved when I left thank you all and keep up the great work and I hope everyone has a great thanksgiving
Cheyenne’s last visit. Cheyene and I had a great visit the other day with Dr. Kimball....looking forward to getting at least this one bad tooth out of her mouth for good, possibly others...no one ever wants to have their dog go under anesthesia I’m sure, but sometimes it is necessary and Dr. Kimball was great going over and explaining everything and answering all the questions I had, and there were many...thank you We will see you for surgery on 7/1 Vickie
We love Pet Desk. It’s convenient for keeping track of immunizations, upcoming appointments, etc. If you need an appointment you can book from the app. If you’re worried your dog might be missing a vaccination and you can’t find your hard copy, their all listed on your pets profile under one of the tabs. It’s a great app. I also didn’t have to do much to set it up. All I did was download it. After our vet appointment it was all entered in and linked to our dog. Thanks.
Never works when i need it. Logs me out every time i want to use it, and when i try to login and forget my password tells me i don’t have an account. Have to try repeatedly to reset password before i finally get an acknowledgment that i DO in-fact have an account. The password reset link keeps giving error message “There was an error updating your password. Please try again “. Well i have, repeatedly and with no luck. No info on password requirements so if my selected password is the problem i have no indication of that. Just trying to make an appointment for my sick dog. Wth?!? Thanks for nothing.
great aside from some minor issues. i like this app & use it every day, but not being able to delete completed/old reminders is incredibly annoying (also confusing if it’s a similar name to a current reminder). i STILL get notifications for a few deleted to do items that were set up to recur weekly. i also noticed my messages & appointments don’t update regularly. i would love this app more if those could be fixed, otherwise i’ll probably find a replacement.
Happy new puppy owner. We had our first appointment with Dr. Katie. I could not have been more impressed. Not being a dog owner for many years, I had a long list of questions. Dr. Katie entered the room, sat on the floor and began interacting with my puppy. She began examining my puppy and explaining almost everything a new puppy owner should know. When she asked if I had any questions, I pulled out my list. By this point Dr Katie had already answered 14 of the 15 questions on my list. I could not be any happier with our first appointment
A+++ app.. This is a wonderful, convenient and easy app to use. My vet has been using it for about a year and it makes keeping track of my 4 dogs easy. All their records are accessible including shots and medicines. There are reminders if you need to book an appt for shots, etc. and you can book an appt easily. Not a single complaint can I list. This is perfect. Vets if your not using this get it, your patients will be so happy with it.
Prescription missing from last vet visit. This app is great to document when & what services rendered for your pet(s). Unfortunately it appears that the last vet I visited forgot to enter the visit and prescription given to my pet. Not sure how to go around that except to put a note in the notes section so that I can share it with the next vet office I visit. We travel often so we don’t always get to have the same vet office.
CRAH!. I will take any opportunity I can to brag about this place. We take our newfies to the best veterinarian in North Carolina. Doctor Jordan is truly one of a kind. She’s knowledgeable, sweet, kind and most importantly, she gets straight to the point! We trust her with all of our pets and you should too! The entire staff is genuine and I appreciate all of their efforts to make us feel comfortable and welcome during our appointments, as well as when stopping by to replenish food, treats, shampoo etc. Check them out and see for yourself!
Pushy on vaccines. I appreciate this clinic but they are too pushy on vaccines, not all are continuously necessary, they just want the high cost of office visit & vaccine money from us. Also I received no credit for laser treatments I cancelled, & 2 times I had failed diagnosis on specimens sent in & not read. To say the least I am very disappointed but they have also given miracle care no one else can do. So I take the good with the BAD🤬
At your fingertips!. I appreciate having all of my pets information in one app! Birthdays especially, as I have a hard time remembering them all! But also appointments upcoming, what shots or test are due, and any perks! The perks are part of the payment plan. Always have some kind of perk I can use, like free nail trim, free office visit, $10 off this or that! I could go on, but this draws up a pretty good picture.
BEST VETERINARY CLINIC EVER!!!. I have rescued many animals and have seen a good amount of vets and none even come close to being as amazing Manchaca Veterinary! That are so professional and so good at what they do they easily become family. I recommend them to anyone that asks me if I know of a good vet. Their app is incredibly helpful. They really love animals and they really appreciate those who are their owners. They really are one of a kind!
Missing really basic features- not comprehensive!. So disappointed- no specific place for tracking my pet’s vaccines or other important dates. That’s literally what I wanted to do and while there is a Notes section in the app, that’s nothing different than me creating a note in my phone. I was hoping for a section that listed common pet vaccines, the date they were administered, and when the next vaccine was due. How about a spay/neuter date recorder? Adoption date? Last Annual exam date and next exam due? Same thing with labs. But there’s nothing like that, which is so basic! Why don’t you include these feature??
Great App!. I have 4 pets and it’s always so difficult to schedule appointments and track any info I need so I saw this app and decided why not get it! It works great and is extremely helpful! Love all of the features, there isn’t one I don’t use. Thank you to the wonderful creators of this app! I recommend it to everyone I know and anybody on this page right now debating whether to install this app or not, it is so worth it!
Updates on upcoming events. It’s unusual to receive upcoming events from an animal clinic on discounted vaccinations. I enjoy receiving these events while saving on vaccinations for my pets. It allows me to share this information with neighbors and friends who are also animal lovers. This clinic has expert doctors and every assistants who are knowledgeable as well as the friendliest staff who make your experiences a positive experience. The number one priority are your animals health and wellness.
Great Start!. I think this is a great start for an app! I love the way they link my vet clinics, health conditions, prescriptions and appointments. However, I’d like to see more options. A place to diary about our pets (health conditions, food, etc.), add pictures to the diary. Would be nice to be able to share pets with other household adults that manage their care as well. I had another pet app years ago that had the journaling with pictures - it was very handy!
Needs work, slipshod design. Great idea but so not ready for prime time in 2021. Editing pics is clunky plus there’s a permanent ad banner on pet’s photo to account for. If you wing it & edit an Inactive pet incorrectly it places them back on the Active pet list & YOUR VET’S STAFF needs to move them back to Inactive. Really?! I can’t manage my own pets in the app for managing my pets?! The Notes field for each pet is ~30 chars long so best of luck adding anything meaningful there, ditto the Food field, & worst of all only one pet parent/contact can have a sign-in & contact info. DISAPPOINTING! Wouldn’t use at all except my Vet’s now using.
Puppy Exam. The facility is lovely! Everyone was kind, but not a single person introduced themselves. Not even the veterinarian. As a new customer I felt that small step would be nice. I understand everyone is busy, but it is a courtesy to introduce yourself and perhaps your role in my pets care. For our first puppy exam and shots there were 4 different people that handled my puppy at different times during our 45 minutes at the facility. I believe that is too many different hands on an animal for no reason. Especially a puppy that has not completed their shots and is susceptible to all things. Overall, the vet was attentive and listened to my concerns. She offered testing based on our conversation. I was very happy with the care my puppy received. However, I do not even know what vet saw my puppy. :(
Our pup max and ours thoughts!. We took our pup max here for the first time and they were amazing! From the front desk associate Amanda to the nurse tech to the veterinarian! They made us feel very welcomed and answered any and all questions we had. They were very friendly with Max, he really enjoyed them and got along with them wonderfully! They are AMAZING in price point!! All around a great place and I’m thankful we finally found a vet that’s going to work for the doggies! ❤️ -Jayson + Brandi McCarty
All aspects of the vet clinic. I love the people the service is great but the friendliness and the respect for feelings and the atmosphere is just what the pet owner needs when they are bringing a loved one. Scott and Tony and Julie are like family to me and it just makes a difference. When a vet goes to his knees with you when you are having your pet put to sleep and shows emotion that’s a gift you won’t ever forget.
