Remote control. I love being able to control my sprinklers remotely! When I work on the sprinklers, I don’t have to run into the garage and turn them on and off each time. I can go ahead and do it from my phone while I’m working it makes it so much easier!

Review. My Behive sprinkler system is the best device I have ever had. I can start, change and control the program from anywhere in the country. I’ve encouraged all my friends to have one installed.

B-hyve sprinkler controller. I love this thing! It is even easy for me to use, which is saying something! I can check, adjust, change, delay my sprinklers easily from my phone. Perfect!

Easy to use and reliable sprinkler controller. This controller is easy to set up and very easy to program. There are so many options, it is hard to imagine a situation that cannot be programmed. Because it is Wi-Fi connected, it can be controlled from anywhere. The online app makes reviewing and controlling your lawn watering programs from your iphone or iPad a snap.

Struggling with App. I have to say, I’m pretty good with technology but the app isn’t intuitive to me. I have a program set up but I manually want to water but it won’t let me. The message on the Home tab under schedule says, “your timer is in manual rain delay for 23 hours”. So I press the “clear delay button” below and nothing happens. Any advice? Also in the manual water screen, “what’s the difference between the green check mark and the play button?

Excellent devices. I’ve had several of the timers hooked up to my hoses and sprinklers for three years. Despite the brutal heat, they still work wonderfully. I love that I can leave out a sprinkler, set the timer and forget about it. It’s also perfect for times when I’m not in town…. No more dead plants and crispy grass! Today I added a mister that runs along the roof of my patio to one of the hose timers. It’s perfect! Cuts the heat and mists my patio plants at the same time.

Great Watering System. We absolutely love this watering system. We especially like the ability to water remotely plus changing individual zones to get more or less water is sooooo simple. Operating the BeeHive system is an absolute joy! I can change each zones watering schedule from my phone while sitting on my sofa! My husband has changed our system from his office in SLC! We honestly couldn’t be happier with the BeeHive watering system. It even shuts itself off if it’s raining. Love it!

Does not work on iOS. If you use an iOS device, don’t waste your time with this app. I am an extremely knowledgeable and technologically capable iOS user. I spent over two hours, working to integrate the app with the timer. An hour of that time was spent with their technical support. I was told they were updating their app and just be patient. Well, while I wait, I guess I will write this review instead.

A Mostly Sunny Review. Love the automation and remote management possibilities, however, maintaining connectivity with the box when out of state is not reliable. The system still shows what the schedule is, but the notifications stop when I’m out of town. When I return home and stay in town the notifications resume. I would still recommend the App, and I’m optimistic that it will become even more useful.

B-hyve app working great now. Last year the app wasn’t working so good. It didn’t record all of the watering. I updated to the new app and everything works like a charm. Thanks for a great product.

Watering made simple. I had a malfunctioning system that was frustrating me and wasting water.. I finally bit the bullet and purchased a new system. I was not expecting to spend $10 on an app, that was disappointing, but I figured it was an investment and it would pay for itself over time. Within 5 min, I had all 4 areas wired and tested with the app. Day one, system informed me that it would rain within 24 hours, so system would skip a day... that’s what I call immediate results! Totally worth $10!

Love it!. This app has saved me so many footsteps while i was setting up my new sprinkler system, and it allows me to program as i need without having to spend a lot of time at the actual controller. Totally love it!

B-Hyve Pro is Awesome!. Our B-Hyve Pro was installed in 2020 by Waterworks Irrigation. We have 14 zones which 3 of the zones are for drip irrigation. I use the WiFi feature 99.9% of the time to water our lawn or our gardens. There are times when our WiFi signal doesn’t extend to the garage where the B-Hyve controller is after I enter what we need done, but that’s not the controller’s fault. Since 5G started our WiFi signal has diminished. I have used the Manual zone watering the most (in Spring and Fall) and the Programming feature (mostly during the summer) especially for my wife’s gardens. I even have watered our lawn and gardens when we have been away for a long weekend and forgot to set a program. In 3 years we have had zero problems with B-Hyve Pro and would recommend spending the extra money on it. Good Luck Tom Rett Grand Rapids, Michigan

Works great!. Had it installed by a professional sprinkler company yesterday. Controls the whole system beautifully, zone by zone. Everything works seamlessly!

In Control. This is a bit troublesome in the initial setup, more detail in moving in and out of the different areas would help), but once it is understood it is a the most intuitive and powerful tool I have run across in 30 years of irrigation control BC

It is OK, but for the price of the controller and Pay for the App I expected Great. I bought a 16 zone controller, and I attempted to use the regular app, but it was difficulty to use. I spoke to customer service who recommended I pay for the Pro App. It was more money down the drain. The app worked well until last month, and now I have trouble testing zones. I usually have to reset the app after I start testing the zone to stop it. It is a pain in the neck, when you’re trying to fix the sprinkler heads. I expect better from the app. Had a Rachio system at my old house and was better system for use.

The B hive sprinkler control box.. I wasn’t very impressed with the control box but there must have been some updates for improve the control. Was having issues with how to run the sprinkler only twice a day. But wasn’t a step for that. So I wanted 10 minutes per zone twice a day. But it wasn’t allowing me to make the adjustment. So i reduced down to 5 minutes per zone.

Still buggy. The smart watering concept is cool but it still needs some help. For example, it’s been 100 degrees and sunny the past 10 days and for some reason the system thinks that even though my front lawn was watered two days ago the soil moisture is at 90%. Because of this it isn’t scheduled to run for a while. I’ve found that every so often it does this and I have to manually reset the moisture level to 0. Now I know I’m not actually measuring it, but when it’s this hot and dry I’m confident that two days without water doesn’t equal 90% moisture.

Great app. This is really a good app. You can take care of all your watering from anywhere. Not only that, but it checks the weather and decides if it will run or not. Definitely recommend it to everyone.

Awesome. This timer has worked perfect from day 1. I love that I can control it from my phone and it auto delays based on the weather. 100% recommend

App is not working for me. App is not able to connect Wi-Fi hub and Bhyve XD. In fact - Bhyve XD is not connected via Bluetooth too. Serious problem. Called customer care and they took the number ; never called back. Returning orbit Bhyve timer and hub. Not sure how to get refund on the app that I purchased.

Bhyve Orbit. Great customer service. Excellent resources when you have issues with your sprinkler system. They go to length to solve your problem. B-hyve, not the company who sold and installed my system. There were terrible. They just made the sell. Thank you Orbit, Bhyve.

Review. In my opinion I feel that if you stand by your product customers should not need to give credit card information in order to get questions answered!!!! Customers should be able to call and get questions answered if you believe that your product is that great!!!

Very inconsistent to connect. More difficult to control, update and maintain. The machine consistently will not connect. The firmware update doesn’t finish. Sorry, tired tonight and I can’t connect to shut it off to not water, so I’m unplugging power supply. I try again when fresh. Thought this would enable distant control. Even bought Pro app hoping it would work bwtter

Easy system. Love my system, so easy to setup each zone the way you like it . So easy to change the day and time of watering as per water restrictions

Manual watering broken/other bugs. The screenshot of the manual watering zone and the time left? That doesn’t seem to work anymore. I can set the manual watering time for all zones as shown but then hitting the green check and clicking the start icon brings you back to the Home Screen. No countdown timer or even any indication that the timer is running. So you go through it again and clicking run this time brings up a message stating that the program has finished running. No indicators for whether it’s watering anything. Only way to know whether it’s doing anything is to go outside and check the drip emitters, which isn’t handy if you’re not home. Other fun thing: if you forget your password, resetting it on an iPhone is super frustrating. They’ve got the “forgot password” link appearing under the iPhone keyboard. On iPhone (12 max for me) it won’t hide the keyboard, so you have to try to trick it into showing the link. Same when going through the reset process, should you figure out a way to trick the app into doing your bidding and resetting the password… basic Q/A would be great.

Adds flexibility to the wall unit. I’ve been using the pro app for a week now. It was a little tricky to pair with the wall unit (had to start in Bluetooth mode then restart the wall unit several times to finally connect by wifi) - hence the four stars. But once it connected it has worked great. Super easy to use; very intuitive. I am glad it is available. The visual tools help you understand your watering regimen better than the wall unit and doing single-zone manual watering is easier with the app than with the wall unit. Overall a winner! 👍🏼

Easy to use. The app works well to set and control our system. Haven’t needed to use the control box once with having the app. Very easy to modify settings and test zones while out in the yard.

Far better than fooling with old controller. The app is bulletproof. I easily switch between our yard and our neighbor’s, whose irrigation I manage. Very convenient and about the only problems we see are very rare network interrupts, once or twice a year. Simple reboot inevitably fixes things.

Waste of money. I changed internet providers back in the winter, I don’t remember the wifi being so difficult for the system add, after spending hours of trying to update the wifi, buying the pro app, contacting support with zero help I’ve given up and don’t know what I wasted my time and money on this. Im not the most tech savvy guy but I don’t think I should have to change my internet preferences & contact my internet provider like the customer support rep told me to and learn all that just to update my current internet so I can use the app, I’ve given up and trying to figure this out and just turn it on manually anytime I want it to water because that’s the only way I can get this to work right now.

Not a very good app. This app is not very good. It lacks common sense. It is difficult to navigate. Perhaps the developers Can redo the app in terms of easy navigation and workflow. Perhaps they can even come out with a feature that allows one to quickly turn on and off or pause while fixing repairs. That would be very helpful.

Absolutely!. Just installed this controller. Amazed, truly amazed. Unlike so many other things, this just worked with no hassle or problems. Bluetooth liked up immediately. Then the WiFi, firmware update, then programming. Everything was smooth and exactly as it was supposed to work. Very user friendly, didn’t have to do and redo, and try again. It just absolutely work. What a joy. If it works like this over the next couple years, I’ll consider this the best deal in recent history. (No more comparisons to “since sliced bread!”)

Love the idea. I really like having an app that lets me control watering from my phone. The rain delay was a learning experience, however. We started seeing our grass turn brown. Didn’t know about the auto rain delay. When rain is forecasted in our area we rarely get more than a tiny sprinkle, so our grass was burning up with the near 100 degree days. I’ve turned off the smart watering now and hopefully we’ll get our grass back.

So convenient. We travel. Recently we were in Europe when a heat wave hit our home. I was able to adjust the watering to protect my yard. So happy we installed the system. I have 2 to cover my yard.

Great app. At first I had issues figuring out how to use the app, but after some time I figured it out. Give it some time before you give up and you’ll be happy you did. setting up of programs is a breeze. You can also run programs manually which is nice if the lawn needs a bit more water. Lots of cool features but like I said, you’ll need to poke around to figure it out.

App is inconsistent. Your app is very inconsistent for iOS on iPhone and iPad. The calendar does not show the correct days that I have programmed. The app used to be stable and consistent until you added B-Hyve Pro.

Very efficient system for a good price. This is a simple system. If you’re a professional, you will appreciate all the features that this irrigation controller offers. I installed mine inside of a insulated box 3 years ago, and I never have a need to opened again. I do all the programming though the app. If you are a regular person, you will learn how to manage the system through the manual and the app in short time.

Useful app for IPhone. I have an IPad Pro and a Magic Keyboard. The app only supports portrait view. I know it's a pain to create a landscape view in X-Code, but if your going to charge ten bucks for a "Pro" version, you should go through the hassle of supporting landscape view. I'm also not seeing a lot of difference between the free version and the pro version. What's in the Pro version that isn't in the free version? The product is the real win here. I couldn't imagine using anything else now that I have the b-hyve. This is my second unit, I upgraded recently. It's great not having to think about when to water and oh wait... there's rain in the forecast, better remember to set it up to skip this scheduled watering. Not with this thing, it KNOWS when its going to rain because its connected to the internet and checks the weather. It lets you know that it is going to skip a scheduled watering because the weather forecast was predicting rain. Nothing worse than hearing the watering system come on when it's raining. This is especially true in Southern California where it's practically a crime to water when it's raining. This system should be mandatory in So Cal. The app makes it easy to adjust how much it waters a certain area. It makes it so easy to manage the process, practically a no brainer.

This AIN’T your daddy’s rain bird!. B-have Smart system was definitely the right choice. Simple to wire up…. A little work setting up perimeters, But once that’s done it does all the work. Chases your weather and adjusts everything accordingly. Water bill Will definitely like it. It will pay for itself if you have the old rainbird systems. Happy Watering!!! 🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃

Absolute garbage. There is zero chance these are real reviews this app is an absolute piece of crap. First it tells me my email address is not unique enough. I’ve already had an account with them but decided to delete my app to try again because it was so full of bugs. I can’t get it to connect to my Wi-Fi when it was kind of working. Again pick another company. What garbage

Limited to 4 Active Programs. This app works great as designed… but why limit it to only 4 activity programs at a given time? You can create and store more programs… but you’re only allowed to have 4 active at any given moment. Why? Can the developers please update the app to allow for more active slots beyond just A, B, C, and D?

Inaccurate, inconsistent, not ready for release. I bought this app and the B-hyve residential timer and have tried for a week to make it work. I have spent Hours of set up, calibration and test. The smart watering feature is horrible. Setting up water cups the app did not save my inputs on numerous zones. So it took forever to complete. I double checked the water estimates from my measurements and it was not consistent with orbit online scheduler. After setting up smart watering all my 12 zones watering all back to back so watering continues all night in the the afternoon. So I switch to manual programs which show history of watering, but I didn’t feel the grass showed as being water. So I put out catch cups and the next morning rather than watering 3 of my zones 4 times each like the calendar showed it would, each cup was absolutely empty. This is going to kill my grass if I wasn’t diligent enough to track it. When I first bought this it required me to log in to a users forum to request updates to the firmware of the residential timer. I am returning it. So frustrated.

I have had this app for over a year. Everything was fine last year this year in the other hand is not fine. I even purchased the B-Hyve pro for $9.99 and it still doesn’t want to work correctly. Horrible app and bad controllers. I am sick and tired of having to reset everything just to get this to work.

Installation. Very easy. I replace a different brand with the Or it timer. The install was easy. Wiring was a minor challenge as I have big hands and the screws and ports were very small. Works great. Still getting to know the system.

So far, so good. Still learning all the details, but I like the interface and the ability to control the system remotely. I think the smart watering will be helpful when I get the details right.

Trouble with setting up. I had a lot of trouble getting started with the B-Hyve XR. I entered a chat from Orbit and I was talking to a person named Heavenly. This person kept leaving the chat to consult a”team leader”. I ended the chat with no resolution to my problem. I have had this B-Hyve XR for three weeks now and it has not watered my lawn on its own. I have to go to manual watering to water my lawn.

Life changer. As an owner of a large saltwater system I have to filter large amounts of water from the outside hose several times a month. No problem until it’s raining, cold, snowing whatever. Now I can sit in the comfort of my home and get the water running without the hassle. Not to mention when I build a watering system for the plants geez yeah at 1/10 the cost of a sprinkler system.

Rain monitoring. The system doesn’t seem to recognize when we’ve had any a heavy rain. I noticed that the sprinklers still continue to water of how much rain has just recently fallen. Otherwise, the system works great.

No call backs. Problem with app. Have called twice. They text that they will call in 30 minutes to an hour. They don’t. Fortunately the water safer still works

Hopeless wi-fi connectivity. Drops out of so-fi all the time so useless as an automated system

Excellent - BUT. Great if you are using in auto mode. But no ability to run a pre-set multi-station program.

Packaging of Orbit Controller Misleading - No device bluetooth (or Wi-Fi) so iPhone can not interfac. Neither of the b-hyve apps can interact with the Orbit 6 Station Sprinkler Timer as it has no wireless of any sort

User friendly and simple. I found the app extremely easy to install and add timers.

I am impressed!. Reading through the reviews I thought doubtful about this app and system. Following clear instructions about installing the app on phone first and configuring it from there, it works brilliantly. The only thing I can complain about is, I had to pay for the app on top of the unit - that is a little cheeky, you could give QR Code for owners of the unit.

Rubbish. Garbage app to go with their garbage products. Confusing to use, poorly laid out and doesn’t do what it’s suppose to do. My taps just turned on despite it being heavy rain for 4 days.

Great Improvement (B-Hyve 6stn). The app is excellent. Has been and still is excellent. The problem with the B-Hyve is the controller itself. The older, 3 program controller was a disaster. Absolute piece of garbage. I had this model and swore black and blue that I would never ever buy another Orbit product. In the end I threw this out. Wouldn’t give it to my worst enemy. I relented and purchased the latest 4 program B-Hyve 6 station controller. Well, what a difference a change makes. This model has superior wi-fi connectivity which was the problem with the older 3 program model. Looks as if the newer 4 program model has had major surgery to the hardware and software. Unfortunately for Orbit, the damage has been done with the 3 program controller. They should not have done their R&D on the public.

Love the features but struggles to connect to server and devices. Love this app and features X would expand on system but at this stage it’s buggy and logs out automatically and struggles to connect to devices and server time out.

Always problems and zero support. There’s always something not working with this product. You’ll submit a problem and support might get back to you weeks or a month later, if they reply at all.

Goona. Works about 50% of the time. Constantly updating, reconnecting, reinstalling, restarting. Definitely cannot trust this while I’m not home.

Andrew Streeter. Exceptional product, really easy to use and great options for system changes

Cannot select multiple stations or order. Any program will only work in order of stations 1-8. You cannot select a program to run in reverse order or custom select station 8 then 4 then 1 then 6 etc. PLUS, you cannot select several stations to run simultaneously, e.g. stations 1 and 2 followed by stations 4 and 5 and again cannot even select the order even for a group of stations. PLUS, there is no customer service, neither a phone number to call in Australia neither does the “feedback suggestions” portal work (It’s just a computer bot that always returns “please repeat the question or doesn’t understand etc” you cannot progress at all). PLUS the controller on the wall can only add “rain delay” and it’s impossible to remove the delay from the control box. However you can cancel the delay from the phone app only.

Rain delay stopped working. The rain delay no longer works. You can set it, but it shows the pre delay watering day. I submitted a note on the app but no one bothered to respond. Used to be a good app, now become rubbish.

Clunky Software. Clunky Software.

Samson. Probably the most un intuitive app and watering system I have come across. It does work but not as advertised. I have spent days trying to figure this app out, countless utube videos and still can’t get it to work in a logical and user friendly way. Fortunately I have not purchased much of this system and will not buy any more until the developers action what most posts say about it. Please forget the complexity and focus on the system working for the domestic market. If my understanding is correct and you can only have 3 Chanel’s meaning 3 separate hose connectors per unit then it is useless. If I have this wrong then please include a user manual to explain how it works

B-Hyve Tap Timer reasonable but not perfect. A year or so ago I installed two B-Hyve tap timers connected to a single hub as per instructions. Then I opened Settings->B-hyve Account->Alexa Device and find that I can only connect just one of my two B-Hyve tap timers to Alexa. No doubt because the link to Alexa is connected to the hub, not the individual B-Hyve tap timers. So I’m restricted to commanding Alexa to switch on or off a single timer when I have two. Which one do I choose? I think this is a breach of consumer law when the packaging says that its Alexa compatible and that the hub handles multiple Tap timers. Next, after installing the B-Hyve app a year ago, I find that the only app on the Apple store is for the B-Hyve Pro, which I have to buy again (low cost but that’s not the point). I can’t see where there is any difference between the old and the new As simple watering system management tools, they appeal. It’s a pity about the small stuff

Fantastic. My wife would spend 4 to 6 hours a day watering our property gardens. We put in the orbit WiFi system with 6 zones and she now has her life back…. It automatically waters the whole yard gardens and hanging baskets. She can control the system with her phone if it needs extra watering. Mind you it took me 3 months to put in the under ground piping for it all but we are so happy with the end results. Thank you Orbit for the great tech knowledge.

Almost there.... Ironic that the call this b-hive where everything is working to serve one purpose whereas this app treats every zone as a unique separate unit... There is no way to combine zones if you use the hose faucet timers...

Please fix !. The latest update has stopped my device from working! I go to manually turn in my hose and it says it works but not water flows!

Frustrated - no accurate. Frustrated - it says it worked even when the zone does not turn on. I would also like to name and not photograph the zones, this is not a stand alone option.

It worked, until it didn't. So I was very pleased with the Orbit system and the app the first year I bought it. Then, after a year of use and several app updates, the program scheduled watering works only when it feels like it. Sometimes it starts when it's supposed to, and sometimes it doesn't start at all and skips all scheduled watering times. It is extremely unreliable. I was planning on expending my watering network this year, but after this, forget about it. Going to try Rain Bird instead.

Easy to use. One of the easiest systems to use and implement. It the unpredictable climate of southern Alberta I found this system with its phone app a game changer. As much as I like the pre-programming, there are times the garden needs a little extra. This makes it so easy. Also it is so handy to turn on a zone then off again instantly so you can make adjustments.

B-hyve Install. Initial physical install was easy. The terminal strip in the unit for zone connections was surprisingly low quality, requiring very careful screw loosening and tightening to avoid stripping the screw head. Included screw driver was useless. They really need to put a higher quality zone connection strip in the unit. Software was very easy to use, allowing me to set up 10 zones in a few minutes. I think I'll really like the unit, unless I have to rearrange zones in which case I'll probably make a cross-connect using high quality terminal strips to avoid touching the screws again inside the case for fear of stripping a screw head. I hope they improve this soon and preferably warranty replace my unit if and when they have the terminal strip problem solved. I've used many brands such as Rainbird and Hunter. Both use high quality terminal strips.

B-hyve pro. I have 12 watering zones and this app helps me to manage them very well. The wifi and cloud service is very reliable and easy to use.

Never stays connected to wifi.. This app never stays connected to my wifi. It constantly fails to recognize that I’ve signed in over 10 times, downloaded the app over and over, reset all my watering times, and refuses to just be a normal system that reaches my wifi which is within several feet away. What a piece of garbage. Meanwhile my garden is suffering from the failure of this system. Waste of money.

Great App and WiFi controller. Very simple and effective controller and this app makes life so easy

Big Improvements. I’ve noticed big difference in the app usage and connection stability comparing with last year, I am using two devices and now switching between them smoothly and showing the current watering, which was not working last year. One nice enhancement I would propose is the ability to connect two devices to Alexa, right now only one can be configured.

Problems with upgrade. Had no problem with older version. Since last version upgrade, it will not even load. Thank goodness it’s winter and do not require irrigation. Hopefully problem is fixed by spring!

Very intuitive. Just set up the B Hyve Pro app … the easiest, most intuitive irrigation system. Awesome

Looks promising, with proper support.. Just moved into a custom built home. GC is highly respected and very prominent in our market. Regrettably, while your brand is clearly superior to others available in the market, it’s the installer sub-trade that has totally ruined the experience. I’m near retirement and could benefit from assistance in learning how to best use your system. But can’t get a reply from the referring source and am finally to the point where I’ll speak with the builder about having it replaced with a more conventional model.

Saved my new turf. I put down new turf but was going to be away off and on. I set the timer for 30 minutes three times a day. The timer worked perfectly and the turf looks amazing. I recommend this time to everyone. I will now set up lawn watering on alternate days and drip watering of my potted plants twice daily.

Great resource. Have used the timer and the app for more than a year. Has helped me maintain a large English garden with hundreds of shrubs, perennials and fruit trees, an intensive vegetable garden, lots of roses and climbers, and long, hot and dry summers. Saved lots of time, bother and water. Bravo B-hive!

Not happy with it!. The system seems to go offline constantly and randomly come on not according to the program. I am away on vacation & when I try to check the app is says it’s offline & I cannot access at all. My daughter is at home and says it’s on now which is several hours later than it should be. Not really great as the whole point is having it in place to look after things while we’re away!! 😡

Unable to setup multiple zones. I have 2 hubs am only using one and 2 Waterhouse devices connected to the 1 hub. I have 2 zones that need to be watered. Am able to setup one device but not the second because the app will not let me add a second zone! Extremely frustrating! Been working on this for two days. The app is horrible… the watering setup is ok.

Review. Nice system but wish directions would be easier to locate online. My installer is new system didn’t supply directions.

Bugs. Has a few bugs. One that happens way too frequently is that it will get stuck when you go “test” an area. It just keeps “thinking” and you can’t exit out. I have to delete the app and download it all over again! Seems like it could be fixed but not sure if anyone is paying attention.

Digital idiot. I can screw up anything digital including sprinklers. I actually understand this system and modify it rather frequently.

App is awful. It does not give you correct readings for when the sprinkler goes off most time. It will tell you zone 1-2 went off not zone 3, you manually water zone 3 then look at history all of a sudden the 20 minutes you had scheduled miraculously show up!

B-hyve Pro. Have had this application for a little over a week. It makes it very easy for me to control the watering of my yard.

B-hyve pro sprinkler control. Take your old sprinkler control and throw it in the garbage. This wi-fi enabled controller allows you flexibility. Set and control all your sprinklers from your phone . Simply amazing. User friendly. !!!

Glitchy. Really glitchy.. Two biggest issues. 1 - Manually running your schedule is poorly buried in the UI. 2 - Most of the time, when I’m running a watering schedule, if I leave the app and come back, it changes from showing how much time is left to water on the zones to simply saying not programs scheduled.’ It’s been like this for a year and I can’t tel what the bug fixes on the app are actually fixing. I tried purchasing the pro version to see if there would be any differences, but in these two key areas there are none. Thank you for any efforts to fix these two items!

This app is great. It works well most of the time. I had the WiFi connection cut out for half a day. I could not get it to connect. Then it did and I have had no other issues. This makes taking care of my lawn very easy.

Not exactly user friendly. Basically the app is ok, but I wish there was a button for manual watering. As it is, I have to find help, go to faqs, and then find the info for it. As I don’t water manually often, I have to do this each time.

New sprinkler controller AWESOME. The problem is trying to change your email address so frustrating! Been trying for over a year!!!! easy to configure and use this is the system except for that. Makes keeping my yard green so easy.

Straight ahead install. Takes a while to program on all of the setting but it is a straight ahead process. Just a lot of info.

Really? Do We Need This?.... I Was Wrong!. I was a skeptic regarding the need to control my watering online. Boy was I wrong! This app is great, stable and very useful. Not just the banner notifications but in testing our zones for reliability. Also, the rain delays ave water, which is important. I highly recommend it.

This whole system ROCKS!. I just installed the system and I’m already in love with it. I wish there was a way to set all the soil at the same setting but other than that I love it!

When can I really create my own custom schedule?. I wish I was not limited to your hours maximum. I should be able to set 5,6,2,or 10 hours if I want need to.

The sprinkler will not stop after the running job period. The timer will start the scheduled job. The the sprinkler will not stop automatically. The apps will not respond during the sprinkler running. Which it shows not running any job after it started.

Great Sprinkler Control. I love never having to go to the garage to adjust time, or to check zones. Simply start and stop & adjust everything from my phone!!!

Love the product hate the app. Wish we could put the B-Hyve smart faucet into zones! Instead of having to switch between them. The app is cumbersome

Can keep connected to Wifi.. Have an exceptional router system for my wifi and all my other devices easily connect. It is a continual struggle to get and keep my b-hyve system connected to wifi. This basically turns it back into the manual timer that I had before the purchase.

No manual control of premade programs , needs a button to manually select “run program”. Needs button to select “run program” to water manually and avoid having to select from 13 zones then select 13 individual run times

Downhill spiral. I’m a landscape contractor that’s been using b-hyve for three years. When I first started using it, everything went really well. Now I can’t connect to a single box I’ve installed for customers, I can’t connect to wifi, I can’t control via Bluetooth, every thing I loved about this is no longer usable. I do not recommend b-hyve to anyone anymore.

Erratic watering. The schedule is unreliable! Occasionally, one valve will go without watering for a week or more, stressing out some of my more sensitive ivy’s and staghorns to the point where they are unrecoverable. I have lost thousands of dollars worth of plants and shrubs as a result. I’ve checked the history and it claims that watering occurred as scheduled, but the ground is dry and hard for lack of water.

Best App. This app is awesome. Responsive, intuitive, and visually appealing. Has only gotten better since owning over the last 3 years.

Very Slick!. This was a great buy! I will say I have only had it for half a season but the ease of use and setup is great! It has been running great and the ability to run it with your phone is super convenient.

Irragation control. The rain sensor arrived with no screws and the batteries were dead. Instruction manual was not included. I figured it out but would have been a lot easier with proper instructions.

Love and hate. I love this controller, but I have a 6 zone and a 12 zone. The 6 zone works perfectly, but the twelve zone has failed 3 times. At a $100 a pop it is getting quite expensive.

Pleasantly surprised. Bought this unit because it was only product that worked outside. Interface is simple and easy. Very good value for price.

No Instructions What The. So how does this work? Info in Settings are so brief especially when there is a problem. Or I first turn on when scheduled and my herbs die

Smart Watering System. This app, when paired with the b-have-pro controller, makes scheduling and adjusting sprinkling of our yard very easy. It also provides an easy means of delaying the sprinkling schedule when raining.

Not enough commands. The issue is the program is not readily controlled ( time and hours ) on the smart watering program. I can’t under stand why I have it going on right after the other and I can’t get it to stop the doubling up on watering !

Singapore. We had a wet spring. No need to start my sprinklers until the rain stopped. I was in Singapore when my sprinklers needed to be started. No problem!

New Sprinkler controller. This system was easy to hook up, program and use manually! We think this system will accomplish our goal of conserving water. We love our HRC b-hyve pro system.

Irrigation system. Your controller works great! I am able to see what is happening from my phone. In the future I would like to see a water flowmeter tied back to the system.

Group all devices. The devices watering schedule should have a view that shows all at once. That way I can decide when to set watering times. Right now I can only see the schedule for each device.

Timer box has a mind of its own. Timer box keeps turning on sprinklers even though all programs are set to off

App completely stopped working. My app was working one day and stopped the next. I could even get the app to open so I had to delete it and download again. When I tried to log in I received an message that my email wasn’t found. I tried to create a new account and I cannot get past the information entry screen. This is garbage.

Smart timer. This is a wonderful device. Took me about 10 minutes to set it up. The application works wonderfully.

Irregular watering. Rained the entire night before scheduled watering cycle due to begin at 0400 hrs. “Smart” watering decided to water at 0400 hrs regardless of rain the previous night. Will check rain gauge for operability. Otherwise, will ditch “Smart” rain program.
