Partiful Invites App Reviews

The rare *perfect* app. So many apps try to do too many things and does any one of those things just okay. Partiful sets out to be one thing - the best way to coordinate a party or event. And it is that one thing perfectly. You can subscribe to your Partiful calendar to add everything automatically to your Google or iCal! Genius! Guests have easy and automatic access to all information. It’s simple, fun, easy to use…. Perfection. Almost every app could be better, but not Partiful. I have no wants or suggestions.

Great. Just wish it recognized you/that you’re already logged in when you click links to events you already RSVPd to. Often I want to check the address or time and end up having to RSVP every time I check.

Your app crashes when non-English keyboard simply exists.. Your app does not respond at all when my non-English keyboard (default & top of the list of keyboards used on my phone) shows up. Specifically after I sign up and try to type my name. That means it cannot even let me switch my keyboard to English. I had to go to settings and remove my Korean keyboard. Only then I could type in my name. I’m not asking you to let us type in anything non-english. But it is pretty stupid that non-english users basically get kicks out at the door, only after we sign in and get your downloads and user numbers up.

Run, don’t walk, to Partiful!. Partiful is the easiest way to plan and manage your next party. It makes it easy to coordinate schedules, invite your friends, etc. no more ugly group texts! Easily share updates, photos, and more. What are you waiting for?

Last time I use this clumsy app. Very unimpressed for something so many people are using. I just organized a party with it and found it very clumsy. Half the time I couldn’t respond to people’s comments without switching to iPhone messenger. And after I selected notifications, the app leaves badges active on the app itself as if I didn’t view the notifications. You have to go into the notification section in the app which is hard to find and then click on each one even though you’ve already seen them. Also, some people let me know they couldn’t come not using the app (probably because it’s so awkward.) so then I go to mark them as not going, And the only option is to remove them completely from the invite list. A basic usage flow design is not that complicated guys.

Use this app! It’s amazing for party planning!!. This is an amazing app for party planning. You get pretty much an accurate count of who’s coming and you can make it so customizable and so cool. My only thought is I wish that I could RSVP (as the host/organizer) for the folks that get the message from the app that may be older and not good on technology. If I know they’re coming from word of mouth, I could RSVP them myself and get the best headcount. Otherwise, this app is amazing. Please use it!! Thanks Partiful!

Perfect for Events!. I absolutely love this app! My friend introduced it to me last year and I was using Facebook for events and now I’m using this and this only. This has been so fantastic with organizing events sending messages out and responding to comments. This app is just awesome! My one suggestion and I tried reaching out on Instagram and through the help center is to allow people to respond to comments when people RSVP as “Can’t Go”. I get a notification from people who say they can’t go and explain the reason why and I do not have the ability to respond to them. Would you be able to add that feature to respond to people who can’t go and who have left the comment saying they can’t go?

Love except for 1 glitch. I love this app and think all the features and UX are great! As a designer, I really appreciate all the details and the way it works. One complaint I have though is that the app crashes when I want to edit the date and time of an event, which is so key and super inconvenient. I can’t seem to find a way to fix this even after reinstalling and trying the browser version. Other than that, no complaints!

Amazing app. I love Partiful. It’s been game changing for managing my social calendar. Love how easy it is to use and all the fun details like the gifs. The messaging functionality is super helpful for telling guests about any changes. Love that you can share photos. So much better than paperless post or Facebook events

Poor Communications. If you’re a youth without a social calendar I think this is a great app - if you check it frequently it seems fairly functional and the imagery is fanciful. If you have a busy work and home life, it’s not great. Often when I receive an invitation I think it’s great, but I have to check calendars, see what my husband and I have that day, etc. And then respond. I usually probably know if I can make it but I rarely know with certainty the instant I receive an invitation - and that’s what this app wants from you. You get an iOS notification and asked you to decide instantly. There’s no email that you can forward to your spouse or keep in your inbox as a reminder, and you only get a text message if you haven’t installed the app. Once installed, they expect you to be diligently scanning your iOS notifications waiting for an invitation, and then responding instantly. If you have to follow up, then you are obligated to copy the invitation into your own task or email so that you can remember to follow up. It’s a rude experience for guests and a terrible way to plan an event - unless your events are for other children or you are just seeing who is available right now to go to dinner or something impromptu.

Telling Everyone About This App. Obsessed with this app!! It makes planning just about anything so simple and easy and fun! Way better than a group text thread. I have told everyone who will listen about this app. Can’t believe how new it is. Would love to see a Poll feature be incorporated in the future version.

Best App Ever. If partiful has one million users I am one. If partiful has one thousand users I am one. If partiful has one hundred users I am one. If partiful has no users then I am not around anymore. I will forever sing this apps praises. When people ask me which 3 apps I would have on my phone, Partiful is my first answer. They know their users well. I’ve never experienced bugginess or lags while in the app. It leaves little to be desired, yet every addition impresses me. Impeccable 👩‍🍳🤌💋 I’ve planned more parties than ever thanks to this wonderous tool.

Can’t live without it. Rallying people for a party and getting an accurate headcount was always a nightmare. Whether it was a party, a picnic, a bar crawl, or a comedy show, it was near impossible to know how many people to expect or share info. I’ve hosted 20+ events and attended 50+ events through it. I recommend it to everyone!

So far so great. I’ve used Partiful for three events so far and I really like it. It’s so convenient communicating with my guest all at once vs trying to message each individual person with any updates. There are a lot of options in the galleria for the event cover which is fun. It’s user friendly for my guests as well. They don’t have to download the app to RSVP. The one thing I wish is that there was a feature to manually add names to the guest list.

Easy & aesthetic app of every host’s dreams. YES. From the event-creating navigation to the dashboard showing upcoming events, every aspect of this app is thoughtfully designed. Having the app handle confirmation and reminder text messages means that I just focus on planning the fun parts of a party! 10/10 for usability, convenience, and vibes.

The most convenient way to organize an event with your friends. Before I knew about Partiful the only way I could organize an event en masse was through Facebook. Now you can send a link to your friends via text, no hassle about making an account. After I invite people, I notice that they start to use it to organize their events also. It’s just better than everything else out there.

AMAZING.. Y'all this is truly the best. I have struggled with party (read: *any*) planning type things all my life, and changing platforms over the years (remember Facebook events??) has not helped. Partiful has been the easiest system I’ve ever used, with lots of support from small planning details to sexy invitation aesthetics to automatic reminders I don’t even have to worry about (plus extra ones, like 2hrs before the potluck when I realize I don’t have enough plates for everyone and invite folks to bring their own to limit disposable use 🤣). And it doesn’t even require everyone has the app, which is great for when I’ve had multigenerational events. I love the ways it builds collective energy before through the comment exchanges and seeing other friends’ rsvp’s, and how easy it is to thank everyone after and encourage uploading pictures in a single message. Just, so easy. I’ve gotten to see it grow over several years and it just keeps getting better. Thanks Partiful peoples.

It’s like having a party planning assistant. I love that it automatically sends reminder notifications to guests. Having an easy to use and access event page is helpful for sharing parking tips, photos, and cultivating community. I recommend this app for event planning all the time! :)

So fun and easy to use!. LOVE that this app uses texting to communicate with guests- super easy to coordinate a group using the text blast feature. Also the events page designs are🔥🔥🔥 - I got a ton of compliments when I used it for my bday. Will keep using and would definitely recommend for anyone planning a party.

The best party planning app. Ever since the demise of Facebook and Facebook events, there’s been a big gap left for planning, larger events between wide range of people. This app/website is the perfect solution to clearly communicate everything you need to in a secure and organized manner for large events or small gatherings. I cannot recommend us enough, and I absolutely love the graphics and animations that they have built in that allow you to customize the look of your event for a little extra fun.

No Regard for Privacy. Love the app, have been using it for years. I’ve been trying to keep my calendars up to date recently so tried to add a Partiful event to my iPhone alendar for the first time. The app (understandably) asked me to allow it access to my Calendar. I don’t feel comfortable with anyone having “Full Access” to my personal calendar so I chose the “Add Events Only” permission. However, it seems Partiful wants all your personal data before they are willing to do something as simple as adding an event to your calendar. I’ve used many apps with Calendar integration but this is the first time I’ve been blocked from using a key app feature like this. Hope yall can get this fixed.

Pour a big glass of wine because this app is gonna take you to your dream place. Partiful came along at the perfect time – when we needed her most. This is the app to replace the void that Facebook events left in our lives. Love you Partiful. Definitely recommend downloading the app. What are you waiting for!

Frustrated. This looks like it will be a good app, but I am unable to create an account through the app. I was able to create an account and event on the website, but when I try to open the app it asks for my phone number and I am unable to enter anything. I’ve tried several time; I’ve deleted the app and downloaded it again; I’ve restarted my phone but no luck. Through the website, I’ve had guests reply; I just need the app to work.

Too good to be true. Enjoy these free premium features while they last! Waiting for the day they paywall text blasts, it’s an insanely good feature. It’s a clean app that somehow manages to maintain a gen z color scheme and vibe without feeling like too much. I use this both for hosting and attending events, all private. I don’t use the public feature. Privacy shout out for not requiring users to upload their contacts to invite attendees - what a unicorn of an app in that regard. The app remembers attendees of past events you host that you can easily pull from to invite people but you can also manually enter email/phone or generate a share link. Love that it’s totally disconnected from social media and there’s no “sign in with” option.

Why doesn’t partiful work with add-only access to my calendar?. Great app, love using to coordinate socials with friends. I’ve found that with the latest update, it requires “full access” to my Apple calendar, when it used to work just fine to add only a single event. I’d also generally love for it to work more seamlessly with adding a single event, instead of constantly prompting me to sync my calendar. Thanks so much!!

Fun & Easy. I love this app for sending out party invites. It has lots of fun layouts and backgrounds to choose from and it’s easy to keep track of all the details of the event while also creating community and interaction between invitees. I’m obsessed!! I will definitely be using this for all my future events.

Not totally user friendly if you use a large font. You might go crazy trying to change the time of your event if you use a large font on your phone. You have to go into settings, change the font size then back into the app to set the event time. Not sure why I couldn’t just scroll down. It would only let me change the time zone, not the actual start time.

A frequent host’s dream app!. How is an app this good free?! I never write reviews but I host a ton of get togethers with friends who have chaotic schedules—this app has been a lifesaver for coordinating RSVPS AND getting your guests excited about your event! I have gotten so many compliments from friends who I’ve invited to stuff using this app, they love the aesthetic design and how easy it was to use. As a host, I love that I can see everyone’s responses and send out text alerts too. I LOVE this app. The only feature I would ask the devs to add is a way for hosts to reach out to the invite list and find out which date/time works best to have an event. I found a workaround by adding a questionnaire and adding a question for each date and asking my guests if they could make that date, and then I will edit the invite with the final date and time once I see what works best for everyone. I would pay for this pre-event availability add on! Overall, a fantastic app!

Best party planning app. Partiful is the best app for party planning in my opinion. It’s so easy and gives you tons of options for RSVPing and other things as well as party page design. They don’t make you pay anything either which is amazing. Way better than Eventbrite party planner in my opinion since they charge if you want to have an event with more than 25 people.

Fun & Easy Events App!!. This could be the next platform/social media for events! Such a stylish and easy way to plan parties, art shows, or dinners with friends. I’m so excited that this is finally an app. I don’t have any parties planned but downloading this is making me want to throw one soon!

Easiest and cutest way to plan anything!!!. Partiful is literally the easiest way to plan a party (And the only way I ever will now). They only need your phone number to plan or RSVP, so you don’t have to remember/forget and reset another password (which I hate lol) Tbh I am not even a party person but when I used this for my bday dinner, I was instantly converted forever. So many options of cute designs for the invite and you can send updates via text to all guests if anything changes!!! I think there are a lot of cool features, most of which I haven’t even tried yet. It’s the best and I’m always happy to get a Partiful invite because they make it so easy!

ITS TOO CUTE. I have an upcoming bday party and needed an app or website to make invitations for the people I wanted to invite. I like to be creative so I tried finding websites and apps that could help me out like picsart, canvas, and even evite but they all have premium stuff which is so irritating. I wasnt going to waste money on a membership that I was most likely only going to use once. So I went to Tiktok and found this absolute gem. Everything was so straightforward and easy to use. I love the formatting, aesthetics, and animations of the app. Its absolutely adorable and perfect for my needs. It helps me track who will be going all in one spot!

Thankful for this app. This has filled the void of fb events since everyone stopped using facebook. The interface is cute too and please give my personal thank you to whoever came up with the add to calendar button - I am so grateful. Please keep this app ad and garbage free for as long as you possibly can. Thank you <3

Great App, But a 'Pay Later' Option Would Make It Even Better!. I just hosted my first event on Partiful after using it as a guest for about a year, and I love it! Partiful makes event planning so easy. But I wanted to share one suggestion that could make it even better, especially for events where people need to chip in. For my party, we needed a minimum number of guests to rent a bar, and we asked people to help cover costs. The issue was that Partiful currently requires guests to pay as they RSVP, which can stop people from confirming right away—even if they want to go. A ‘pay later’ option with automatic reminders (like two weeks before, one day before, etc.) would make RSVPing easier without needing an immediate payment. This way, hosts can see who’s interested without pressuring guests to pay right away. Thanks for all the work you’re doing—Partiful is a fantastic app!

Best Invite App. LEGIT THE BESTTTTT app for party invites! Simple to create, simple for guests, and super engaging/interactive. It’s like a mini message board for your party with no fees. It’s also very easy to share your invites in texts, emails, and social media. I’ve used it for parties with 30somethings and also for a 75 year old’s party! It’s super easy for everybody!

Best app I’ve ever used. I use this app for a lot of events, making the flyers, the user interface, sending out mass texts is all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I don’t understand how this app makes money because they’ve never tried to sell me anything or shown a single add. Can say enough good things about Partyful!!!

The best event planner on the market. Partiful is the easiest app to handle party attendance and outreach. I’ve hosted three events on Partiful already and attended over a dozen hosted by others using Partiful. My favorite feature is the ability to send text blasts to remind folks about event logistics and send updates in case something changes.

I regret downloading the app. I like Partiful as an invitation platform, but I rely on unread text messages to organize my invites. When you download the app, party invitations you receive go to push notifications and you can’t control which ones you want to receive or how to want to receive them, you just get push for everything (looked everywhere in settings for any ways to customize, could not find). I deleted the app but my texts turned off and now I’m missing invitations and updates, making it unusable. Wish I hadn’t downloaded.

Severe privacy problem. When you ask this app to add an event to your calendar, it request “full calendar access,” meaning it can read and write to ANY of your calendar events. To add an event to my calendar only requires “add” permission. To refuse to let me use the app to add events to my calendar without also giving it access to the entire rest of my calendar (to do what with?) is a pretty severe privacy problem that Partiful needs to fix quickly.

Super helpful for party invites!. I’ve used the Partiful app and site for awhile and am grateful for it. I do wish a way to invite more people existed. Also, it’s been great for me in one city, however in places where I’ve known less people, it’s been more difficult for me to get reach. Overall nice app.

Great concept! Just need a few fixes. Okay so I was looking for something to replace paper mates and to avoid my personal invites or messages come off scamish to other people.. this ones is so great and so up to date with the times/trends. However I find messaging on the app (text blast) alittle clumsy and I tried a testing invite with my husband for this exact purpose and yes the texting wasn’t hitting the mark. We couldnt find ways to directly message one another. The only easy way was the comment section of the invite and still wasn’t notified when each others messaged on the comment board even. Another thing DEFINTELY worth mentioning is that this app crashes my phone after using the app for longer than a few minutes. Sooooo I’m not sure if I should continue using this app because of the crash and my phone constantly restarting. Outside of these two flaws this app would be TOP NOTCH for my family!

Use it ALL THE TIME. my graduating class in college started using it to invite bigger groups and I now use it for almost every social event postgrad. Love that you don't NEED the app to send the link to anyone but I've found that the app is more reliable than online and makes it easier to track the guest list.

Please add +1 link feature. I love this app! It’s so fun and easy to use. The only thing that’s missing is to tag another person as your plus one when you RSVP with a +1. Otherwise, they are unable to view the event details without RSVPing themselves (which defeats the purpose).

The best event app around. Never has it been so easy to create events, rsvp to events, and keep the party going after the party. I love partiful for it’s easy to use UI and inherently social style. Plus it’s just fun! Everyone loves to receive a partiful and it has truly powered a huge portion of my social life this year. Thank you partiful team for making such a useful, fantastic product. Now, how do we pay you??? Hahaha

ProblemApp. Several of my invited guests received messages that required them to sign on, without alerting them that it was an invitation from me. They thought it was spam, and never did sign on. Then it told me that a reminder would be sent out. That I canceled. If someone wants to forget that’s their prerogative . We get too many emails and unless I make the decision to remind them, then that’s my choice or should not be automatic and forcing me to make the change I found the app annoying.

Amazing interfacing. This app has been such a God-sent! Super easy to use & helps keep everything organized. Also, great color scheme choices. Will definitely be using this app for future events. Thank you, Partiful for helping a girl out in keeping the party alive.

Great App. Our friend group recently discovered this app and it has been a godsent for all our events! All the customizations of the invitations are so fun. So easy to send invites, see who’s rsvpd, send Venmo requests all in one place. Only complaint is we wish we could add videos not just photos! Give us videos please!!

Mostly great; hate the cap system. Love the alternative to Facebook. Love the google calendar integration. Hate that people are capping the attendees of their events and it creates this panic of “oh gosh, guess I need to get a spot!” That was never a thing with Facebook and I think we are all better off without it. If there’s a real space capacity, folks generally have ticketing systems, anyway, and it’s awkward when the ticketing system (eventbrite, etc.) doesn’t corrrelate with Partiful. E.g., Partiful says there are no spots left, but many of those people that clicked going haven’t bought tickets, etc.

A LIFESAVER FOR HOSTS.. I use this app wondering when the “must pay for this feature” will pop up. This app has everything you can think of from RSVP, to text blasts, to surveys, to group gifting options, to comments, to options to export RSVPS. It’s literally amazing and it has helped me to keep everything organized for planning events. I plan events often for my job and this has been such a dream come true. I love this app and will continue using it. It’s been so good I had to come write a review(this is something I never do)!!

ACTUALLY WORKS. I've never been able to plan any events with my friends and it was always so chaotic. I'm honestly so shocked by how this app made it so easy to plan my birthday party!! It's intuitive, fun to use, guests feel comfortable leaving private answers to your questions, and I was able to figure out the date and place to go all through a voting system in the app! Can't recommend this enough, all my friends are raving about it! I've never seen them respond to RSVPS so quick!

Type A’s rejoice. This is truly the best way to plan any kind of event. Takes into account all possible needs of getting people together for any occasion.

It works!. It’s straight up to the point. I don’t love having apps for everything, but this one is worth it. It allows you to manage your guests get messages out and leaves all the extra out of your hands.

Love this app. Literally so glad this exists because who wants to use Facebook or eventbrite. Fun (and highly useful) features! If this was integrated with instagram so small businesses could promote open invites it would literally be the most perfect app to ever exist.

Best Digital Invite!. I love this app so much! So far I have used it for birthdays, game nights, watch parties, GNOs, and holiday parties! All the the gatherings I use this app for are a hit, I think it gets people excited. Super convenient, far better than Evite. So thankful for this app!

Adding Personality & Responsibility To Hosting Events. So easy to keep track and have fun while planning events always use it and recommend it to my friends.

Love it!. I wish there was a way to see your full guest list and change content after publishing. I wish only people with phone members added in invite to respond and not any random number to respond.

Social gatherings redefined. I love Partiful. No more boring event planning and I can use it for way more than parties. After COVID, I was tired of hanging out online and wanted a way to organize events for my friends IRL. Partiful was the answer!

WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!. Partiful has changed the game - and I’m so happy for it’s here. With the decline of Facebook Events, we’ve been needing an app like this for years. I love the flyers, interactivity, and how fun the notification sounds are!! Partiful team - you’re killing it.

this app changed my life. before partiful, i was hand drawing flyers for my events and delivering door-to-door. Now with all the extra time i’ve saved, i’m able to have deep conversations with new startups and ask them how they make money

Works well but could use some improvement. This is our go to invitation app but it’s missing some key features. For example would be great to send a message to all attendees after event so pics can be shared, people thanked etc

Partiful is the new thing. I don’t know where it came from, but it’s here now and it’s the new rage. PERFECT for any event big or small!!! Makes planning so easy, I love all of the different decoration options and commenting+ photo features!

Delightful to use. This is a beautiful, simple app that does a great job at helping people connect. I hope they can figure out a business model so they can be around for many more years.

Keeps it simple for me. It allows me to know who is going and who’s not I can make reservations for the exact number of people that are actually going. And if you are, maybe I won’t count you at all.

Love it!! Great aesthetic, and makes hosting fun. Love it!! Makes hosting parties way easier, and I love getting all of the notifications whenever my friends RSVP. Also makes it surprisingly easy to create a party invite with very good aesthetic.

The only social network I use. I host way more parties now because Partiful makes it easy & fun. Also makes it easy to invite friends who take a while to respond— Partiful handles any reminders automatically.

Fun and easy. Super easy to use and fun invitation designs. I like that it sends text messages to your guests’ phones too in case they don’t have the app. Fills a needed gap since Facebook events have gone out of use.

Great App. This is a great app. It could do with a bit of additons, like being able to change the color and type of the font. Or adding sounds once invitation is open.

Why does it use so much data?. This is a great tool for organizing events, but why does it use so much data? It has consumed over 400MB over just three days. All it does is display text and a few pictures. It must be doing something very inefficient or transmitting things it shouldn’t…

Finally a good app that’s 100% free. I LOVE THIS APP! It’s 100% free, it’s cute, and innovative! I love that you can change the theme, the backgrounds, add a link for the address and get RSVP’s, etc!! My only critique is that I wish it had more fonts 😁 10/10 recommend!!

Easy to use, great features. I enjoyed Partiful as a website so I’m glad that as an application it retained its qualities and is still a very easy/straightforward way to make an event. Will definitely continue to use Partiful for future events.

Party on!. Partiful is my bread and butter. Monthly book clubs, birthday parties, holiday get togethers, annoying my friends with an invite to come over and watch a movie together… Partiful can do it all! I love how visual and inviting the platform is. The themes and effects are a delight to play around with. Plus they add a real flair! When it comes to organization, another win. All the deets you need are formatted and you can even set up your invite so everyone Venmo’s you. Gorgeous. Amazing. 10/10!

Event invites that actually make sense today. We’re not out here pretending to be mailed envelopes. We’re not tied to another feature of a social media app nobody really uses anymore. It may not be the best ever but it’s the best right now!

Looking for something to do? Get this app!. Honestly could not tell you how many fun shows this app has got me into, always handy and streamlined to get you RSVPed to the best shows in town, and may I say the ui design is very slick. Great stuff! :)
