Playable but impossible. I'm giving this game three stars for its general playability, although I'm not too fond of the time limit on answering questions. I also like that it adjusts the level of the next question to your success answering the current question. What I'm not enjoying, is the truly trivial nature of the questions. Yeah, I know it's a "trivia" game. But the sports, music, miscellaneous, and arts questions all seem to involve contemporary pop culture that I'm simply not in touch with. My experience so far is that the "easy" questions involve things you would have learned in high school or college that could be considered relatively important in the grand scheme of things (science history literature) whereas the "hard" questions involve ephemeral, contemporary, silly knowledge like hit songs or basketball players. I guess the developers show faith in our education system by structuring things this way. I infer that they believe, "Hey, you went to school, asking you about Charles Martel is easy peazy!" But it's just not worth my time to keep running into "hard" questions that are beyond my ken because I don't have a 16-year-old's taste in music and I'm not a sports fanatic.

Trivial and annoying. This could be a great game, but the commentary after each answer is condescending and annoying. It's so bad, in fact, that I'm deleting the game.

Love the game. Great game. Excellent questions. I just wish you could pick categories like Trivial Pursuit. Also, the reason for the four star rating, I get a weird running water sound that starts up when I play the game for longer than five minutes. It doesn’t stop unless I close out the app and restart.

Impressed. I’m a trivia junky. Like obsessed with any thing dealing with Trivia I’m on it. So I thought this game might be fun. I was so wrong. It’s not just fun. One of the best I’ve played in a long time.

Trivia to go doesn’t pull any punches!. Make no mistake, the questions are hard! There are no slam-dunks and few “soft” options among the possible answers. I really got schooled! And this is mostly real trivia, not a recap of high school. You have to just happen to know the answers. I was thoroughly humiliated the first time I played! Often I win big hypothetical prizes on other trivia apps, but I found myself getting 4 and 5 out of 10, and once as low as 2. But I loved it the way you do when you’re really challenged. Here’s my “but”—there’s not enough content, or else something’s wrong with the app’s operating system. I finished every question in a few days and eventually got them all perfect. I was willing to pay for a new pack of questions, but even so I couldn’t find material to buy. Come on, add some more of those ruthless questions, or fix the link to the App Store!

Tough. It took me about 250+ games to achieve a perfect 10/10. These are really tough questions for the most part, but if you read the questions carefully, sometimes there are hints buried in the wording. Memorizing correct answers is no fair!

All about the ads. After playing this game and looking at all the ads that they force upon you it eventually stops giving you the opportunity to continue and you can only play the repeat questions.

New Questions. I like the game and the questions are not general trivia in my opinion. Although, the questions can get very repetitive once you make it to the higher levels, I wish they would update with different questions more often.

Problems with the app. Though I love to do trivia and have no problem if I get a question wrong because I chose the wrong answer, I have a great issue with getting a question wrong because the app changes the answer I chose to a wrong answer and it is happening more and more so I will not be playing this game for much longer unless this issue is addressed

Good game but moving forward . . .. Good game. Great questions. However, after round 20 I got many repeat questions. Do I am afraid to pay the $2.99 to remove the ads. Developers pls answer these questions directly: if I pay the $2.99 wilball future questions be new? If I pay $2.99 will all ads disappear forever, or will I be asked to pay more in later rounds to keep the ads removed? Transparency please. Thanks

Obscure Facts. Questions repeat very quickly, otherwise a fun little game. Needs WiFi because of constant ads.

Best Trivia Game Ever. Thank you for making such a great game, but there is a recent glitch. I’m using an iPad Pro with iOS 13.4.1 and in both this game and Knowledge Trainer my Average IQ score goes down instead of up after good results on the just finished game. I don’t know how long this has been going on, but I started noticing it the week of May 10, 2020. I’ve been on a steady upward trajectory all year and I hate seeing it go down!

Hard questions. This is a really fun game. You learn a lot and there are not as many adds as there are in other games. I learned things I never knew before and it was fun taking a guess at it. If I changed anything I would make so there was different categories. Like one for kids one for music one for science one for random etc.

Hate Reviews. This is not one of those… What do you call them, computer generated reviews. I’m 50 years old and this is the first review I’ve ever written. What can I say? Exquisite. Brilliant. Engaging. Addictive. I can’t get through any movie because I’m constantly pausing to answer the next question. Get it, pay the $2.99 to get rid of the ads and support them. Do it. Their line should be: Want to loose weight? Want the old ticker to last another 57 years? Sit your arse down on your unused exercise bike, play this game & half an hour of peddling will have felt like 5 minutes.”

A real trivia game. Most trivia games ask really stupid questions like “what is the capital of the UK?” Not this one

Very Disappointing!!. Loved the game. Questions just the right amount of difficulty. But have to deal with an ad every 3rd question while ads run across top and bottom of game. Then after about 25 minutes of play you either have to pay for more questions or cycle through the old ones again. For the amount of ads forced upon you to use this app the greedy developers should be ashamed to ask for money. June 14, 2019- response to developer: thanks for your non-responsive canned response. People understand that some ads are necessary but the issue is some apps give little content for the privilege, abuse the process by over abundance of ads, then quickly come with their hands out wanting you to pay for them for it. I have no problem paying for an app that is worthy. But you have to give me more than 15 minutes of play, most of which is ads to entice me.

In appropriate pornographic ads. I really enjoyed this game and played it on a train ride back from NYC to Boston. Every so often an ad pops up while you play... no big deal. But one of the ads was hardcore porn, and the video appeared on my entire phone for several seconds before disappearing. Unbelievably embarrassing.

Mind bender. I love this game! It keeps me on my toes and I am also learning while having fun!

Best game ever. I am confined to my home and in quite a bit of pain. I cannot see a doctor because I’m not considered an emergency. Only people having a medical emergency can see a doctor due to the current pandemic ...coronavirus. I have to use a cane to walk and every step is extremely painful. Having this game on my iPhone is perfect. It helps me to keep my mind off the pain in my hip. I play for hours and love it.

Could improve. Good for testing your general knowledge..BUT..the developers should consider that not ONLY Americans using app..so probably do without the condescending comments when you get an answer wrong..most of the rest of the world don't know, nor care about American general questions, as they are NOT general knowledge to the rest of the world..so when the app says 'you should've got that one, pay attention next time' you want to abuse the developer..There's a WHOLE WORLD outside if America..just saying??

Fun but too Americanised. Fun game to exercise my mind, but too many specific irrelevant American sport questions. At least in the Asia Pacific region I am from..... I would have thought soccer, athletic, or swimming for example would be more appealing

Ice app except for one thing. I like this game, it’s fun to kill time. There is, however a problem with it. It has asked several questions on the Bible. Why would they presume knowledge of the Bible as a test of how intelligent you are?

Horribly buggy. Freezes, has a black screen, and shows ads while you’re reading a question or in the middle of answering, causing your time to expire. I tried paying for ad-free, didn’t help. Turned off the phone and rebooted, didn’t help. Deleted the app and reinstalled, didn’t help. IPhone X running iOS 11.4. Don’t bother.

Great Challenging Trivial app. Are you in an app "stuck~hole" and are in need, if not in a more desperate need of finding something to play on your phone to help time fly bye quicker?!??? Good but not great. Questions have quite a wide range of difficulty. Some areas I'll never get. But at the moment it's one of the more interesting challenge games.

Good but buggy. Great trivia game. Interface is simple and unobtrusive. Every so often it interrupts play for a commercial. Some of these cause the app to freeze.

Wrong answers. Many answers are wrong In Saving Private Ryan was 3 brothers not 5 like the game suggests

Answers obscured - why not fix?!. As stated so eloquently in many of the other reviews, the answers are in red, obscured by being atop a red background! The questions are hard enough as it is, without being unable to read the answers. For someone like me who has keratoconus it makes this game impossible! If it wasn't for the answer issue, I would've given this app five stars? Why can't you fix this?!

Pop up ads like crazy!. I tried this app and was unable to get through three questions without Abad popping up. Then as I clicked out of the ad, it came right back at least three times before it went away. But it was back two questions later. I would have enjoyed this app from what little I got to see of it but I deleted it because it just isn’t worth the frustration.

Good trivia. There are a few things. Way too slow. When it shows the score you need a button to bypass it very quickly. Quite a few spelling errors. That slow thing is so bad I am removing the app. Way too slow. Like, quaaludes slow. . Did I mention it's way too slow?

Addictive and challenging. This game really makes you think quick. And it's educational too. I usually can't answer more than 1/2 right, but it shows the correct answer. If you like trivia games, you'll enjoy this one. And it's free!

Difficult but fun. This really tests ones knowledge of trivia in the true sense if the word. Most other games are mostly general knowledge questions but this game is quite challenging.

Good game. Was looking for a replacement for a game I used to play called Qrank. Not quite the same but a good quiz game nonetheless. Not 100% sure though on the difference between it and the $0.99 app though.

Annoying. You can't see the answers on some of the questions. No way to pick a correct answer.

Previous version was much better. This game replaces Knowledge Trainer, a five star single player trivia game. This updated and revamped version uses a notably smaller pool of questions than the previous build. I was seeing repeat questions after a few rounds - after fifty plays now, there's no point in continuing at all. It's too bad, as the App Store could use more quality trivia games, but this one disappoints rather quickly. (Hint: stick with the free version if you must download it).

Better if difficulty went up by subject. Hi. This is a fun game, but it is frustrating because the difficulty level goes up when you do well...but the next level might not be your area of skill. It would be better if the app kept track of your levels, and presented you with the next higher level according to where you last were. For example, I might typically score higher in areas connected to history, art, literature, and science, while performing dismally at sports and entertainment. So I might bomb one that is out of my comfort zone, so the level is dropped, and then get an easy one in an area where I have more knowledge. Then the level would go up...and I might get one out of my area. I know, it's a free app. :) But I do think changing it in this way would make it better.

Stalled. My game is frozen on my iPad. I can play it on my phone but I can’t get it to reboot on the iPad. Also the entertainment questions are only good if you are under 30. Us old folks have no idea.

Terrible App. The Ads in the app make it impossible to answer the questions. They pop up and block the screen even after hitting the “x” repeatedly. Don’t get this app, the advertisements are unbearable and many of the questions are ridiculous.

Smart fun. I really enjoy these quizzes, and they can take as long as you choose, or be finished quickly. Too bad there is so much repetition.

AWFUL. Videos pop up between questions which is fine and expected. However, when the pop up during “timed” questions and then keep looping...this you run out of time—a major bug and glitch! Repeatedly occurs!

A fix is definitely needed. Great game, but red-colored answers are too long to stay within the yellow bar and bleed into the red background making it impossible to read the clue ending. Please fix this as soon as you can. It is very annoying!

Could use some updating. I've noticed a lot of repeats even on questions I've gotten right previously. Also the yellow bars on the answers need to be extended so the entire answer can be read. Otherwise this is fun and I'm learning stuff I never knew!

"MY"..."Trivia To Go". I really like this game...however, some of the questions, or rather the answers, are a bit suspect(?) Not because I think I'm right and they're wrong, but I've been confused a time or two and researched answers...2 out of the 5 I found to be not only suspect, but downright WRONG!?! That's VERY VERY frustrating!! Other than this, I enjoy the questions and feel I've learned quite a bit, which is the entire point of the game...yes?!? Good trivia game. Reasonable amount of ads and only one repeat question in several hundred.

Trivia to Go. I'm becoming addicted to this game, but I hate the ads and periodically a white screen pops up where I assume an ad should be. I have to leave the game then go back in to get out! I can deal with actual ads, but the white screen is most annoying.

Limited questions. Really great app to play first few times. Very challenging questions. But only a limited amount of questions so the challenge ends quickly.

Fun, but with bugs. Good and challenging questions. Although you can't see some of the answers in their entirety as the highlights don't highlight the whole answer, so you are trying to making out the red text against a red background - takes away from the fun of the game. Fix it!
