Partia Game Description & Overview

What is partia app? Partia is a SRPG (Strategy Role-playing) video game inspired by Fire Emblem and Tear Ring Saga series. In a high fantasy setting, the game will take players through an adventure where magic and sword collide and friendship and betrayal intertwine.

Thank you guys for your reviews and suggestions. Good ones encourage us and bad ones humble us.

I am constantly fixing bugs that are brought up to me and trying to change things that bother people. It takes time since I am just one guy (Imago Software is only two guys) dealing with many issues. Still things will improve in future updates that I'm working on.

Meanwhile, obviously this is a paid game and I don't want to disappoint or cheat people out of their money.

Here's a gameplay video from TouchArcade's Sanuku (Thank you!):

Yes, the minor character development was very weak. More dialogs will be written in part of effort to more complete game experience!

@Tony Peniyoung
I was going to answer your concern but didn't really get the message!

@Grievlocke
Wow, having big battle animations will be really cool. Number 1 in my wish list too. Simply there was no budget and it looks like there will be no budget in the future, either- looking at the sales.

@Many who wanted more stages
I had random map generation for more guild quests, but I couldn't get the quality right yet. Random really never worked with the element of strategy, and became just a brute fighting.
Partia 2 was planned for 25 stages that wraps up the story, but at 600 games sold, well, I wonder if I could ever get enough budget.

@ErnieBernie876
I know it is not as convenient as having a restart button, but you could suspend the game and load the last save data to restart the stage from the beginning.

@frozencracker
It would be a bug if you have an attack option without having a valid target, but I can't seem to reproduce it. To cancel the attack while targeting, you could press 'B' button (that's the inside button) or you could choose a target then select No.

I will try my best to answer any question! You could also email me to:

A disgrace to Fire Emblem. When I bought this app, I expected a legitimate fire emblem like app. But no. This was a waste of four bucks, due to the terrible controls. It takes minutes to finish a turn, and the touchscreen controls are very clumsy. You also cant skip scenes, and you cant see the range of multiple enemies, and neither can you see the range while you move. Without these features, this app is not anything like fire emblem, and is just a bad game. I suggest you go back to the normal ab lr controls with the control pad, because you clearly cannot optimize the touchscreen.

Just bought this game. Good job guys.. So I haven't actually played it yet, however I have read the details part (yes every word of it, even the feedback part) as well as viewed the pictures and read other reviews. I may re-write this review later, however, as it stand this game has been presented amazingly. I'm willing to bet this game is very fun (I am a fan of Fire Emblem type games), but even if the game needs work, I am far ready to give my 4$ to you. Keep up the good work! We need more honest and hard working companies.

To all those who down grade this for Tutorial or being "Hard". I will say this right now, this was a game that was geared more for people who played FE and for those who played GBA. And if your complaining about the platform not being up to date, read "Details" and you will find it was 2 people making this game. If you need a tutorial, literally look up "Partia Walkthrough" and it will give you the mechanics. Also, just click on someone to see their attack range, the old fashioned way.

Partia. The game is very very good especially after the latest updates. Some additions like being able to view and switch from unit to unit to see stats such as level and attributes outside of battle would be another big improvement.

Decent but far from great. This is a decent fire emblem clone but there are something's missing to make it great. There is no manual at all and the game doesn't teach you how it works. I know as much as I did because I enjoy fire emblem and assumed it was the same, but if you haven't played fire emblem you'll be completely lost. 3.99 is a little pricey for what you get if you compare it to other apps. The story was interesting but I just couldn't keep playing because of the clunky mechanics and lack of essential information. I am happy I bought it though because hopefully this game will sell enough that they can bring a version out that will fix the information and mechanics issues.

I love the Partia trilogy!. I bought Partia because I was looking for a good rpg mobile game and I was not disappointed! I beat this one, and the second one now I’m going to buy the third one! I can’t get enough and I will most definitely replay these over and over! 5 stars!

Best game on the App Store. This is truly the best and most strategic game that is currently in the App Store. Nintendo would be proud knowing that there are many supporters of their popular series known as Fire Emblem. Again, this is a magnificent tactical RPG, so take buying this into game consideration, it's worth every penny.

Awesome. one of the best rpg games for iphone, reminiscient of fire emblem which was one of my favorite games for gameboy. the controls can be a bit tedious but otherwise perfect. I cannot wait for the sequel!

Would not suggest for beginners or anyone looking for game depth. Maybe it's just because I'm a newb, but I can't even get past the second battle. It's too hard and there are WAY too many enemies for an 11 man team. I'd rather spend $150 on a 2DS and a real Fire Emblem game, then waste anymore time on this thing.

Mehhhhhh. Game is pretty much like fire emblem without the fancy fighting scenes.. which is aight I guess; however, it is very hard honestly. The ratios seem a bit off but not crazy and the difficulty from stage 1 to 2 goes way out of scale. Practically impossible to save the girl from the house... just saying but yeah pretty fun game worth trying if your a fire emblem fan.

Great title. At first glance, the story is good, I definitely like. the small bio on each character helps them feel more like a character, rather than a piece to level up. I would have liked a explanation on mechanics, like how armor works, but I put it together easy enough. I also would like to see battle animations like other srpgs have, but it's not required.

Just like Fire Emblem but... Must give a poor rating. This would probably be my favorite original tactics game on iOS if it wasn't for the fact that I cannot pass Chapter 2 without losing characters. Partia is close to a perfect Fire Emblem copy, and I wish I could enjoy it fully, but I feel too much experience is needed to level, character stats are WAY too low (same with stat increases during level ups), and somehow my 80+% hit chance will miss twice, but a 30% hit chance will hit twice. At first I thought it was just bad luck, but after witnessing this happen on multiple occasions, I feel there must be some sort of imbalance. To put my frustration into an example I just experienced, my level 6 lord face to face with a level 4 hero in a duel could only do 2x2 damage with a steel sword with 61% chance of success and 13 health, died when he missed the level 4 hero twice, and the level 4 hero, with 11 health and 7 or 9x2 attack, landed a hit both times at 30 or so percent hit rate. I have had this game for ages, and I would deeply love to enjoy the full story and gameplay, but there seems to be some issues in this. Would give 5 stars, but I've been waiting for this to be fixed, I keep playing even though I know how imbalanced it is, and it will never get fixed.

Great but needs work. This game is amazing(mainly because it's fire emblem and has an actual story unlike some) but it's way too hard I've never beat chapter 3 because of how hard it is Please fix this but otherwise this game is great

Great game. My favorite game ever is fire emblem and this is so much like it. This is my favorite game in the App Store. The game could be a little smoother as in controls and gameplay but other than that it is an A+ game.

LEVEL TWO!!! +. Okay first of all I can't get past the second level (I'm only a kid though) and I suggest that like in the real fire emblem (at least awakening) there should be a run away option instead of just die. Also I suggest that they make a tutorial. This game has definitely achieved its goal of being like Fire Emblem for a cheap price. I personally like the horizontal form of control, but the middle of the D-Pad is actually a button that does nothing at all. I give it a 4.5 but I don't know how so I give it a 4

Flawed, but good. I found this by searching fire emblem, hoping I would find something in the same vein, and I did find something. There are flaws though, but overall it's enjoyable. First, the game needs to take up more screen space. Also, some of the writing, particularly the intro, could use some editing. It may help to read it aloud to grasp some of the awkward sentences. A bigger screen should also enhance font size as it's much too small. It would also be nice to have a screen showing the attack power. I saw a Mage with 3 magic thinking everything would be dandy to have him kill a unit in one hit and the weapon description doesn't tell you how much power the magic has. That needs to be fixed. Otherwise, solid effort, and I hope this game can get the support it needs to realize it's potential

Great game !. I found that the game was amazing ! I didn't run into any glitches or bugs and i was very happy but disappointed at the ending :( please make another game or add more levels because i am dieing for moreeee .

FIRE EMBLEM, WOULD BE PROUD. I've been looking for a fire-emblem style game for so long, this is literally the best game for Apple devices- and since its priced so low IT'S A STEAL, seriously it's like where ripping the Devs off, it's a great game one I've been looking for awhile. I recommend this game to any and all Fire-Emblem/RPGSGP or anybody who wants to have a good time. The only fault I see is charcter dialogue, and lvl shortage other then that this game is solid. Thx Devs, for such a great game!!! Looking forward for many more games!(>•_•)>SO PEOPLE PLEASE BUY SO WE CAN GET A SEQUEL^(>_<)^

Old school is better. Greatly resembles FE 6 to me! This is a great game and, although it has a few text errors and the like, it has real potential. I like it way more than that disappointment Awakening.

One of my favorite game series of all time.. Cannot express enough how much I love these games(all 3). The only thing I hate is the excessive amount of precise tapping on these big phones it hurts my hands honestly. I wish there was a d-pad and buttons option to avoid all the stretching but hey if that's the worst part I will gladly deal. Edit- I tried using a Xbox One controller and it did not work. Thanks for responding you seem to be a nice developer and I am glad I supported by buying all three. Would Apple allow you to instead of updating the game for all sell the virtual d-pad and the ones who want it could buy it for say 2 bucks? Just wondering if there was a workaround or loophole we could use. Edit- Deleted my save after starting Chapter 8. Only that file have no idea why.

Scratches that itch. So far proving to be a great SRPG in the vein of Fire Emblem. Has a decent story and good gameplay mechanics. There is a more robust item management system than I expected. With New units to hire and flavor text for everyone and unique abilities the only thing I miss are in-battle conversations between units. Am glad to see developers supporting this game with updates and look forward to a sequel.

Partia-lly Complete but Good. Great game and I'd love to change my review to 5 stars but there's some work that needs to be done. GET AN IN GAME GUIDEBOOK.....there's needs to be a section where the game and it's mechanics are explained a little better. Half the screen is black so you can put a d-pad and two buttons?! Stupid! It's on a Iphone....utilize the whole screen and make the touch mechanics better, no one wants to look at a 2 inch game for hours......other than that it's a very good Fire Emblem clone (one of my favorite games). I really do enjoy this game I just think that it could use a slight overhaul and some polishing! I know it's asking for a lot but maybe even some animations for combat :-O

Awsome. Good story and gameplay but needs to be updated and needs a little easier controls but everything else is good

Reviewing your attitude. Hey I came across the game and started reading the description. I want you to know I'm buying it mostly to support you guys and haven't played yet. You earned my respect through how you wrote the 'details' section. Here is my 4$. Don't give up on making games, it may take time but you've got the potential to go far.

Well played. This is a game that I much appreciated after not playing a fire emblem game for many years. It has a relatively good story and gameplay that would fight right into fire emblem my one problem is the difficulty to level up a class they upgrades cost more gold than is achieved in many mission.

It’s an okay game. I feel like it’s an incomplete game with some problems. You can only equip items once you are in a battle, can not upgrade units like upgrade an archer to a sniper, level ups don’t help much and the max level is only 20 witch I can reach pretty fast, and the story doesn’t seem so smooth and sometimes hard to understand. I do like how every character has a different face, we are able to train before we move onto the next chapter, there are different endings, and the different game play options was pretty neat. Overall it’s not really worth the price because of the problems and it’s not to different from some of the free tactics games on iPhone., but it was enjoyable.

Better then I expected. Obviously any game can be nit picked and can be improved but for the price it's the best turn based ios rpg outside of FF:Tactics.

Just needs full screen.. Partia is a strategy game that reaches its goal of being a pretty genuine clone of Fire Emblem for iOS- the best, imo. Gameplay is pretty solid, although horizontal style is pretty awkward since the d pad is really tiny and right under the game display screen, so 60% of the device's screen isn't really used. The story is okay, and, overall, Partia is a good game for a small fee. There thankfully isn't any IAP rubbish, and that could have fit in perfectly with this kind of game. Sadly, it lacks a tutorial, so I recommend everybody to look up a quick guide on how to play Fire Emblem before embarking on a quest with Partia so that you get the basics. The thing Partia really needs, though, is full screen for vertical play for 5G devices and up. Even if you just want to fill up those empty black corners with a cool Partia wallpaper, that would be enough to keep me satisfied. I was going to put four stars because of this minor issue, but i'll cut the dev some slack- I read that the dev consists of only two people working on this game which is pretty amazing: you have done a great job. Keep up the good work.

Not bad.. To get this out of the way, I'll lead with the cons. - Controls feel a bit clunky and slow compared to a real Fire Emblem game. - Interface is small and difficult for users with large fingers. - Aspect ratio is not adjustable. On my iPhone 5c, the picture does not fully fit the screen. I know this game hasn't been updated since 2013, but a last patch to attend to these issues would greatly benefit anyone wishing to play in the future on newer hardware. Now for the pros. - Interesting story, eager to get further in and explore the characters at my disposal. - Aesthetics and gameplay feel very close to the Super Nintendo era Fire Emblem games.

Worth the Fire Emblem memories. Great game that reminds one of fire emblem. I only wish this were longer, and that it was made clear in the beginning which class is upgradeable.

Not Good. If you think you're going to relive your love for old SRPGs through this app, think again. The animation is low quality even by 8 bit standards. Everybody looks like either a blue or a red pixelated stick figure. There's no exploring in the game. It's all linear story broken up by navigation menus and the actual battles. Worst of all, when a character dies it's gone forever, and there's no way to reset a battle if you mess up, so good luck trying to get better. It's nearly impossible to maintain your team and level up your weak characters. I want a refund.

Fun but somewhat grindy FE clone. Pros: - Visiting Town between chapters is entertaining and makes sense. - Dialogue is expertly crafted, easily better than the ridiculous Japanese-English translation dialogue that plagued FE games - Character portraits and character personalities (so far) are mostly pretty great, with the ocasional hilariously “homemade” portrait - Special abilities on characters, including support bonuses boosts the depth of combat. Having an accuracy boost on the pathetically weak main character is especially welcome! - Big maps! Some might complain, about more tapping/clicking/turns to traverse, but big maps make battles feel epic! Cons: - Punishing EXP system (esp on expert). You will need to grind, especially with your main character, to get them strong enough to not get one shotted by enemy grunts Tips (for noobs only): - Exploit the arena. Revisiting town spawns new random arena match - Save your potions! Should be used in arena only - If you run out of potions for the arena, bring in your healer and do 2v2 matches vs. weak enemies to heal your injured units - For best EXP gains, it is most effective to unequip your character weapon and wait for a weak enemy to attack (and hopefully miss) for 25 turns, OR attack with slow/weak weapons. (Edit after response from Developers): Bumped up to 4 stars, since the punishing EXP system works as Devs intended!

Great Job Devs.. This game is great. I have read many reviews knocking this game for lack of tutorial, but come on, this game is made for people who have played Fire Emblem and the like. I have played so much Fire Emblem and Shining Force, and I have to say, this game is pretty great when it comes to being a clone of that brand. As far as controls go, they seem to have overhauled what was once a clunky system, after reading the older reviews, and made it all touch, (when horizontal) and it handles great. The dialogue could definitely use some work, but it's still a pretty good story. After some extremely tense battles, and a few chapter restarts, I was actually able to clear the game without losing a single character, which was very difficult but the challenge was welcoming. It is possible people! Over all I would give this game a 7/10. The 5 star rating is due to being the only clone I've found that is worthy in iOS form. If you like Fire Emblem, get this game!!

Cheap Fire Emblem, but could be so much more. Okay. I'll list some of the obvious flaws. 1. The control scheme is awkward. The way the horizontal view works is weird and the touch controls just feel wrong. In a vertical view, the D-pad and buttons are MINISCULE. Fix this problem, and the game instantly becomes better. Flaw 2: lack of tutorial/info. The lack of tutorial is okay, since the game lets you figure things out on your own with very little risk of losing your units at the beginning. But I can't see the stats on a weapon or armor. I can't even tell how much my potion heals! 3. Combat menus. Let me select an enemy, then a weapon. And for the love of God, don't set the cursor on "Back" by default! 4. Introduce the units you start with a little more. I like forming an emotional attachment with every unit I have, but I can't because they're just kinda THERE. But here are some praises: For a $4 game, this isn't bad. People would probably say I'm an idiot for saying that, but if this is supposed to imitate Fire Emblem, it's really good for 10% of the price of Awakening. So far, the storyline seems good. I REALLY like the introduction of armor. It's really cool and I've wanted it in Fire Emblem for forever. All in all, this game so far earns a solid 3.8 stars.

A short but brilliant start to a series. Partia is an excellent Fire Emblem knock off with some innovative map design and mission sets. There are plenty of characters to meet and an instant gratification storyline but with only 9 missions to speak of, the game is easily beat in 3-4 hours. It is a fantastic initial effort and has a promising future, but is somewhat insubstantial lengthwise at time of writing.

The surprise present. I wasn't expecting much for the price, and in many ways this game lacks of of the features which give it's precursor so much character and depth. However, for an indecent game, and a cheap price I was pleasantly surprised! The difficultly level cn be challenging, an near impossible if u don't stop to level up! This isn't a detractor though but a plus! For if a game holds no challenge what is the point in conquest? To sum it up, this game is like that cheap toy you got for Christmas as a kid that ended up providing more pleasure then the over priced go-cart you hardly ever used.

Guide and tactics. I like the game alot but there really needs to be a plot and you shouldn't over level the enemy's cuz it makes it difficult to proceed through the chapters

I want my money back. Extremely painful to play on the phone, controls are really bad, gives me a bad headache every time. Horizontal screen gives u bigger picture but touch screen on this type of game is exhausting need both hands and no cancel or back button is a pain, vertical screen only gives half viewable picture with ill-response control buttons. Also extremely irrational difference in character levels the second stage already, and the missing ratio definitely has bugs

Fun Game. Overall experience is good. Story and gameplay are good. There is lacking explanation on how the interactions work with characters, items, etc Overall, very worth the price.

sadly, terrible. I can tolerate a clunky game, a game with no ability to save/load, a game that force you to sit through long cutscenes over and over, a permadeath game, a game with bad writing, a game with no help or manual, and/or a game that forces you to tap 5-10 times to complete one action for one of 10-15 units. but not all of these together. if you love fire emblem and/or having fun PLEASE stay away from partia.

Don't Purchase. I spent 3.99 on this app thinking that it would be much more similar to the fire emblem games that I used to play on my game pay advance back in the day. I was very disappointed, as there is no engaging battle graphics when you attack an enemy unit. Also, the game doesn't seem to flow like it should. You can change the game speed and increase the speed at which enemies perform their turn sequence but it doesn't effect the flow... I had high hopes. And was greatly disappointed. Simply not worth the money. It need to be updated for the new gen, specifically resolution. Don't waste 3.99 on this app, spend your money in something more worth while.

Solid Game. Very fun, not too easy, art is almost copy paste Fire emblem and the gameplay is very similar as well. Leveling up and promotions are smooth. Saving is a bit choppy at times. Only major critique is that certain missions require a key to complete. So if you do not buy on or have too much inventory you are screwed.

Great Potential. The biggest problem this game has is unit balance; The avatar/main lord has the combat ability of a piece of bread, and some units are way too good (i.e. Tatum). Also, magic feels a bit too good, since the enemy fire mags in chapter two often one shots most of your units. Still, I'm loving this game 👏

Great game so far.. The game looks amazing for what it is. The style is perfect for this type of game. Price isnt to high or to low, i plan on purchasing the other two games as well but i will only be purchasing them after i complete the one beforehand. Thank you for making these games as they are what i have been looking for and Just now found.

Too Rough and uninformed. It’s not horrible. It’s okay the problems however make me just throw my hands up on the second Map. Yes. Second. Still here? The game sells itself as a Fire Emblem like even if that’s not what the devs wanted. But Fire Emblem at least TOLD you how it works. Is there weapon advantage? Maybe but I can’t tell. Is there Perma-death? They don’t tell you, they want to seem to have you waste time figuring it out. How the bleeding heck does Magic work with its damage and resistance? Nope get out what is this some spoon fed hold your hand sim? It’s far to rough and seems to take sadistic glee and not telling you anything. Maybe the sequels don’t waste your time as much.

Good game but some flaws. The game is good but the mission on the second level is to difficult and earing money from the Pub Guild is not easy. Every time i go into a match I lose more money than im gaining.

Worth the price!. There's only a few problems and I'll start with the bad: -sound track is the same the whole time -story mode is only 8 chapters -when the phone is horizontal, a good amount of screen size is not put to use but is like playing on a game boy with improved graphics Good: -fun -challenging -unlike fire emblem, there's an area that you can go to too train your troops and gain money. Which is awesome!!! -variety of people you can get on your team -price isn't bad for hours of entertainment

Love it. Love it!! But where is the rest? It ends without the whole story. So I got the seconded one and its a whole different story! What happens after they board the ship?

Decent.. Chances are you found this game by searching "Fire Emblem" in the App Store. If so, you've found the closest to what you're looking for; Partia is just about the closest to FE I've seen in the App Store. However, the game is severely lacking in polish: it's not optimized for the larger screens of newer devices, the controls are quite simply awful, and the game's also quite short. That's not to say it isn't worth purchasing, as many people will be less bothered by these issues as I was. Hardcore FE fans will most likely enjoy it regardless. Just don't expect perfection, as you won't find it.

Bought to play the series. The first Partia feels quite partial. I enjoyed abusing the arena, but the money was short for my effort. Wasn’t ever any worthy enemies to use the greater weapons on. Would recommend to anyone that has a deep love for Fire Emblem.

Good games. Not a bad game, it could be tweaked to flow a little better.

Interesting. Enjoy playing it but it is quite short...please add more chapter!!!

Pretty good. This is a great game, but there is a problem with the enemy levelling, at the 3rd level there is a spike in the enemy lv and its impossible to complete without casualties.

Good game. Still good but it was a fake version of Fire Emblem. I played Fire Emblem and he still better. But ! I love this cause its the first i found on the app store. Thx to make this awesome app and im gonna enjoy it

Nice. Cool game. Fire emblem for iOS ! I hope they polish the controls and it'll b perfect! Make part 2 I hope! Super good game

Great game. The game itself is a lot of fun. No real explanations just hoping you know the format. Not overly difficult, just be sure to stock up on weapons and items. The controls are little off which is why it's a 4 star instead of 5.

fire emblem fans mainly. Fire emblem fans would love the game but hard of you are new to the game

For Fire Emblem nostalgics. If you can put aside few glitches and slow rhythm this game is for you.

Great game. Loving it.. I find that the graphics kinda add to the (feel of the game I suppose) rather than to take it away. All in all well worth the money to me. I am sort of sad that I can't use the guys I worked so hard to lvl up in partia 2 but kinda adds to the fun in a way. Keep it up devs.

Great fun. Love this game. Old school stuff. I'm a huge fan. Need more games like this one. - Ryan.

Wow. Simplement trop cool comme game. Vaux vraiment 4$ et même plus , l update en 1.02 fait un monde de différence. Si vous aimez ogre battle, fft , jagged alliance, ou tout autre srpg ce game est pour vous.

Awesome Game!. I really LOVED this game. It goes without saying that it's similar to Fire Emblem (which I LOVE) so playing it was an enjoyable experience. It was fun and challenging. Great Job Team! Looking forward to Playing Part 2!

ok. This game was very fun to begin with but after the first few levels the story line broke down. There were gaps of years (game time) between levels and there was no character development at all. If they make another they shold probably make it more than 9 levels.

What a copy if fire emblem... I love it!:). This is a wonderful game that really got me addicted for the first few days... I finally beat the game, and it's a lot of fun! I don't recommend this game for beginners because it is pretty hard, but to all those fire emblem players, this a great game!!!

Partia<3. Fire Emblem for iOS ! A dream come true :) Great story and i hope for a Partia 2 :D

Good stuff!. Medieval version of super robot War!

Fun RPG. I had a lot of fun playing Partia, it does remind one of Shining Force/FE a bit. The variable classes and abilities i liked a lot. I found some of the in game class promotion items were excessively expensive, a minor balance issue. Some game mechanics were not explained overly well (ex: how "talk" works around level 5). I would still buy Partia 2, I think there is fair value & depth here.

Great game!. A little hard for amateurs... But an amazing game that will make sure you will have fun!

Partia. Great tactic game!

Nice. Love the game !!!

Great game. Very nostalgic reminds me of shining force

Has potential. The biggest problem I see is that the sound doesn't work. Other than that, it's not a bad app, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Love it!?. I love this fire emblem style game, keep me busy for days hours, hopefully years so I don't have to buy another one!!

Awesome. Love this game! Very similar to Fire Emblem, one of my all time favorite games.

Love It. This is coming from a huge Fire Emblem fan who has played each game within the franchise repeatedly. Firstly, I just want to keep this review short since there is too much I enjoy about it. Basically, I am overjoyed and eternally grateful for this game. The Partia series is like having classic Fire Emblem on mobile, and it is something I have always wanted (Fire Emblem Heroes is NOT it, from really just being another gacha game). With a few other gimmicks, it can definitely come out as its own thing. Yet while still far from an original idea, I mean it is just so much like classic Fire Emblem, it is not at all a bad one. With Partia, you are not getting garbage. Partia gives you a legitimate and thoughtfully made game full of fun. On a side note, I recommend turning on all three of the special settings — horse rule, etc. — for the nearly diverse fun-filled gaming to which I am referring. It will probably be more or too difficult for some to most players, but best experience for people like myself who love the genre of T/SRPGs. Secondly, I will be honest in which I have not played much of it thus far. I have owned this game since released, played it for a bit (recently restarted and getting further), and even have had the Partia 2 and 3 since release. And yet, I have played enough of this game to get that satisfaction I always get from the genre. It is by far from perfect, which is expected from an indie game as well as something only on mobile. Overall, it’s a hidden treasure in the world of tactical RPGs. I am thoroughly excited to get more into the world of Partia and continuing with the next two, and hopefully more, games. And finally, there are a few things I wish to see from Partia. The biggest one is for there to be controller support. I use screen mirroring with my iPad, and Partia could benefit perfectly from having controller support (hopefully on each of their games) so that I can connect my 8BitDo SN30 Pro+ controller to my iPad and just play it like any other game. As for the other things... I forgot what they were. Maybe add some more fighting animations such as what has always been on Fire Emblem? For all I know, that has already been implemented into the sequels. Honestly, the rest does not matter much. Imago Software is doing good work. Keep it up, and many thanks. (Guess this thing did not turn out all that short after all.)

Good. This is a good game if you like fire embalm.

Pretty much Fire Emblem. If you haven't played Fire Emblem then go play it it's like this but better. This game is awesome though.

Really good!. The Game is very good, just like fire emblem. The Game need animations so please!

Good game. Okay good game, I've been craving a fire emblem game. Here's what I like: -it's a fire emblem style kinda play -it's easy to level up -nice and classic looking -IT'S FIRE EMBLEM -addictive Here's what might need to be fixed: -there's a luck stat, but you can't see it. -It's TOO easy to level up, no fun then -No resistance -theives can't unlock stuff for free. -you have to manually end turns -slow gameplay -characters don't have a profile (like gale, there's nothing I know about her) -towns and houses don't do anything -don't know how to get new characters besides going to the tavern -no supports -controls are confusing Otherwise awesome game! Nice job!!

It's alright. I like how this game is classic 8-bit but I do not like how the prince is really bad. Leon, however, is amazing and he was basically the Narron from Tearring. Every other character is alright but Leon is better! X3

Graphics a bit sketchy, and there's no instruction guide but solid gameplay and level design!. Woo!

Thank you!. I'd just like to thank Imago Software for putting a Fire Emblem-esque game on the App Store. I love this game so much!!!

Very Good, Very Interesting, Very Short. Hi, don’t get me wrong with my title for the game. I felt/believe it was very good and somewhat went along with what I was looking for as a “Fire Emblem” experience while not being FE. I rated this as “8/10” on a solely personal opinion. For the price of the game, it’s certainly worth getting. Very cool and very refreshing to me. Just a bit short and repetitive. But that makes sense, as it feels like a chapter going into a chapter. A game going into a sequel. And a beginning game at that. Spoilers Ahead for anyone reading this: First, leveling up units is easy in the arena. Pair your fighter with an archer and let the archer fire away at you. Each miss still counts as EXP, which is super valuable. Also, don’t worry about potion healing at the inn. Just have your healer step into arena fights with your weak partner, heal then and then “abort”. Make sure the bet/crowns are low during those aborts, as they cost you. As for the game, for me, I played FE for the stories compared to gameplay. Most of the time anyway. Path of Radiance did both for me. And FE7 - Lyndis, Eliwood and Hector - was a tremendous experience too. Story really gripped me with the older FE series, which is what I was looking for here. Sadly, I feel like there was a story here but… it felt rushed? It jumped places? Especially the south rebellion? It would have been nice to see the characters interact. Even see chats between them at camp. Instead, it felt like you just moved on from chapter to chapter with some light connection between your character and the romantic interest. And then there were politics behind closed doors; involving the north and south at each other’s throats. But there was no real side intrigue or anything. No one wondering why “this” was happening or “that”. Who was acting “suspicious” lately. No reports on the “unexpected”. I do give points for being able to name the main character! That was very nice and helped me feel connected to the world/fantasy. And the class promotions were still encouraging, as usual. I did find it interesting to see armor units limited to one class, although there was “sword” missing. Also, dwarf and elf weapons. Those were surprising! I wondered about what races there could be in this FE look alike. The world builds were interesting too, alongside the character sprites! I do wish that the character icons changed expressions for emotion like happy, sad, surprised and so on, to set the mood even more. But it was all still good. Overall, I very much enjoyed this game and feel like it was a start project of some kind. I’m going to look into the sequel, which the “trailer” showed me. I had a spectacular time with Partia, although feeling a bit lost. Reminded me a bit of Dungeons and Dragons, a prologue leading into the bigger story later. A start to everything, ha ha.

Amazing game. Thank you creator ^.^ I love the game

Retro with a side of bugs. It plays exactly like Fire Emblem, looks like FE, and feels like FE. Not a bad thing, that. But, the UI is clunky and glitchy. If you, for instance, select a unit and chose "Attack," hen choose the weapon, you will get the selection squares for a target-- but if you then decide to not attack, you are stuck in limbo, with no way cancel the attack, and if you don't have a valid target, tough; you cannot do anything but kill the app. Also, if there is a clear display of range for missile weapons, I cannot find it. The touch controls are somewhat unresponsive too. But, the core gameplay is quite solid.

Amazing. Please finish making it

Great, even on its own laurels!!. Whether you are looking for a decent Fire Emblem clone or just want to play a good strategy RPG, this game delivers! It is by far one of the best apps I've ever downloaded for my iPhone and it is well worth the measly $4 that it costs! My one and only complaint is that it could use an instruction manua,l for sure.. All of the other complaints from people such as poor graphics and whatnot are trivial compared to the amount of fun and content that you get for $4! Stop questioning yourself and just buy it.. You'll be glad you did. I really hope that the developers get paid like they deserve and make a sequel. Please, just give us an instruction manual next time! Note to all IOS game developers: we want more games like Fire Emblem!!!!

Fire emblem fans must get this game.. This game is definetly a fire emblem inspired game, and if you're a fan of the series, this game deserves your attention and support. While it is a bit rough around the edges, this game is what most real fans of the game have wanted to do their entire lives, make their own better version that fire emblem. The game has several improvements in terms of game play. For one, the colloseum is structured in a less risky way, and also more stratigic. Another big thing is staves do not only give you 10 or 20 exp per use, but rather scales off the level of the healed and the amount healed. The game is sadly short however, but you have to understand the amount of work and dedication less than a handful of people had to put into this game. For an indie game, this game hits home with a whole lot of love for the genre, and the sprites are absolutly beutiful. The amount of work done into just all the battle animations are amazing. While some people might understand or apprechiate the sprite work because they too young, people who remember spending days laying down with a gba will really apprechiate this game and the effort behind the imago team. Props to them, and if you want indie game makers to be able to make games you love, this game is worth the buy. What else are you going to do, buy the 9000th installment of angry poultry?

Don't waste your money. Like off brand fire Emblem but 1 million times worse. Felt like a slap in the face for spending my hard earned money on that crap; had to delete it after playing the first level. Please take my word for it

Definitely FE inspired but.... No detailed combat animation. That was really the one thing that makes FE do enjoyable and it is sorely lacking here. This would have been the best game on my iPhone if it had the FE combat animation in true GBA style. Alas that is not the case here, be warned! The fact that you can understand the dialogue and it sounds intelligent is one of the only saving graces here. Unfortunately I had bought it in hopes of superb combat animation that seems to be absent. Maybe in an update? But probably not.

Great job guys :D. First of all, I love all strategy/tactical/RPGs, so this game definitely gets some biased points for that. I have only played through the first level and I admire the work that has been put into this and for the price it's totally worth it. On flip side it still needs improvement on various aspects, for example touch controls does take some time to get used to but all in all it is functional. I look forward to seeing more work from this developer!

Partia. Great game if you love Fire Emblem.

Keep it up!. You guys have something great going on. Don't give up guys. Here's my support.

Artia. Great game

Fire Emblem had a baby on the ipod and its the Great. thay should come out with alot of games similar to games that came out for the gameboy & advance i loved the fire emblem series and still do but this blow my mind like a mindfield definently make this a series of games ill buy all of them i love trying to play with out loseing any units unles the story dictats it to be done Also Keep up the great work and the great ideas like this one

Excellent. Great story and gameplay

Good but.... It won't let me go to stage six every time I click next stage it goes to screen with dialogue then crashes..

Game. It's good

I am So Sad. This game's value was not even close to what I paid for it. Its value far surpassed what I paid for it 😄

Ight. The game overall was alright. It should have been longer and the character should have been able to get more money for the merchant weapons.

Awesome. Just awesome!

Limited weapons/item stock. The grind would be fine if weapons armor and items were not limited in quantity. Trying to level up my hero in arena is near impossible since it depends on either not getting hit or wasting weapons/armor

Level. How do you beat the level when your brother dies I have all my units upgraded but they all seem to die

Controls. Good game. Great story. Controls need a little work.

Great game. If u like fire emblem you'll like this game

Unsatisfactory. Just terrible.

More. Please make more to the game, i really want to know what happens next.

Great game. Love the game. As soon as I first played, it reminded me of fire emblem.

A must for Tactical/SRPG fans. Amazing game so far, everything from the music to the tactical gameplay makes this a must for anyone that enjoys games like Final Fantasy Tactics, Shining Force or Tactical Warrior. Don't let the graphics fool you, the animations are actually very detailed, watching the main character dodge an attack was a treat from the normal "swing and hit" sequence. I do feel the need to mention two suggestions, although really minor: -text sound should be turned off -update for iPhone 5 screen Honestly, amazing though, don't let my suggestions deter people from buying - great gameplay, story and music so far. I will update when I complete

Cool. So fun you should make a part 3, sale the 3,game as a bundle

Great game!. Partia is really helping with the wait for Fire Emblem Awakening! I'm glad that I decided to take the leap and buy the game! I love the Fire Emblem series, so having a game like this on my iPhone is a big plus! The sprite work is great. I love all the detail in the environments. Hard to believe you were able to pull so much personality out of such small sprites. The story good so far, and the music is nice too! Speed feels good when set to fast as well. It does seem like it could still do with a little polish though. The animations, while nice, lack the impact of the battle scenes in Shining Force, Tear Ring Saga, Fire Emblem, etc. I know that for a small production like this, it probably can't be helped, but the fact remains. Touch controls can be wonky too. Once again though, that comes with the territory. Still, Partia is a great game and I can't wait to see what you guys come out with next! You obviously have a knack for this kind of thing. Would love to see your games on the PC as well!

Needs a tutorial. The controls to move are: Double Tap on the character A box will appear there will be an action called move Tap it and there will be green squares around the desired character, you can ONLY move in these squares. The box will have other actions such as end turn also. Your welcome for the instructions

Great. Amazing game. Hope to see a sequel soon! Many applauds y'all. A little rough around the edges, but such a good game!

But this game :DDDD. This game is amazing if u loved fire emblem ... But there arnt any video fights :/ ... But still amazing ... So buy thi games so they have the funds to make more :)

Excellent Strategy RPG. Patria is a great SRPG game with compelling plot and methodical tactic based combat. The level designs are intelligently constructed and large. Highly recommended.

Controller support. Please add controller support! This game would be much more enjoyable for me and others if it had it! Thanks!

nvm. i have absolutly no sound when playing on my 6s plus. please fix this. update: fixed

Amazing Game!. This is the best grid-based game I have played since "Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn." To have achieved such a high level of entertainment on the iPhone is an amazing feat. The characters are intriguing, the story takes you through many ups and downs in their lives, and draws you into the game. It's really impossible to believe how well this game has been out together. I have not encountered any glitches with it, and this is the first game on my iPhone I have EVER had that happen on. The system works great, and the varying levels of difficulty make it fun for both new-comers to grid-based strategy games and old pros to enjoy. Some of the first battles could be a little bit frustrating, particularly when a character doesn't get any stat boosts, and the characters went up levels a little to fast, but the slow growth progression balanced it out. The only real complaint I have is, why couldn't there be more?! This is an amazing game, and I would recommend it to anyone! Thanks for the amazing game

Interesting Fire Emblem clone. Only downside is slow game speed
