Good App for Writing. I like this app. It provides me an easy place to store my notes for my stories. It provide good prompts and lists of title. Titles are hard for me so it's nice to have prompts to help. I like the exercises and character sketches. This app is a good one.

Please read!!. If you are looking for something to spark you imagination for writing this is defiantly the app for you. Although if you are looking for something that tells you how to write... Please do not get this app. I personally enjoy every bit of this app, to help me start stories. This app has helped me a lot and I recommend it to you.

creo que hay que mejorar más el app. por Teófilo Nuevo dato al final Ante todo felicitaciones, el app es bastante bueno. Lo que sí es un imposible es exportar el texto. ¿Porque no haceis un link a Dropbox? ¿O quiza a más editores de texto? Ojala podais hacer el export feature mas amigable, pues no lo es. A, y ya que estamos en esto, al enviar el texto por correo va con imagen..... ughhh... Si quisiera imagen lo guardaría así.... No sera posible quebrar el txt+imagen y separarlos.... Otrosí. Mirad que sería muy conveniente que usando las capacidades del Ipad pudiereis mover, cambiar de orden las notas. y es que me veo encantado escribiendo en ellas cuentos y todo va estupendo hasta que cierro el Ipad y luego ¿dónde está? Pues refundido... me parece que si pudiesen mover, alterar el orden sería muy bueno. también sería magnífico si añadierais más elementos de edición, como una barra extra o un sistema como el de el app fastkeybord, texkraft o al menos phraseology. por favor vedos y a ver si os inspiraís aún mås, sería estupendo! Mirad StorySkeleton, tiene la función que permite reordenar los textos. Si vosotros la incluís serian 6 estrellas, si se pudiera.... Buena suerte!

Hrmmmm. Got this in a bundle with one great app, two scam apps, and this thing. This is not great, but it’s pretty good. It’s strange that you can’t just start typing under a prompt, but you can save them and then type away under them there. For this sort of practice writing I think it could be great, just needs to be a little more intuitive, don’t see why it needs that extra step. Tempted to go 2 stars, but the other apps were so bad this seems good in comparison, so 3 stars.

Needs Proof-Reading/Editing. If you are going to create an English App for writers then you need to hire an English-speaking proof-reader. Writers are sort of sensitive about that kind of thing.

Update. I finally was able to removed this app from my iPad. I just down loaded it to my phone and I'm happy that I can use this app again. FIVE STARS!

One of the best writing apps!. I really like using this app! Not only does it have the prompts and exercising, but I can keep all my tidbits of writing in the notebook. I only have one thing- I don't like that you have to hit 'done' in the notebook for it to save what you wrote. There should be some sort of auto save. I've lost work a few times because I didn't remember to hit 'done'.

Good idea, but too much bad grammar.. I just deleted it after reading some of it.

Morning jump start or great break. Really great palate cleanser if you've been writing and need a little something to distract you while you're subconscious is working out a plotting or dialog problem you've been grappling with. I set the timer and only work in a prompt for 30 min and then get back to my principal project. It's great fun and let's my mind play.

Inspirational!. I love using this app to jump start my imagination or exercise my writer muscles. Single best writing prompt I've bought in the App Store.

Great App! Needs IPad Rotation. I love the app. I like the handwriting look. Random character is really good. The workshops are too! The app can use an IPad rotation. It will make writing easier.

Excellent Imagination Sparkler & Logger.. I love this app. Helps get the mind working then let's you make notes so you don't forget about your new ideas.

I like it but.... There isn't a lot of variety to the first lines and titles, and often it is difficult to make sense of the first lines. I dislike how there is no spell check on the notebook (it is very convenient for me to have auto correct), and how I can only type with my iPod when it's right side up, with the smaller keyboard. I also wish there was a way to go right to the notebook when coming across an exercise I'd like to use, or from the generators. Also, there are some contradictory things that get thrown together in the character sheets, and I wish there was a tad more information on those. I also agree with other users, a plot section would be awesome as well. I already like this app quite a bit, but there is a lot of room for improvement! I say it is definitely worth getting, especially if there are more updates to come.

Plenty of Inspiration. For a few bucks, this app offers a lot. A great kickstarter when looking for ideas and to get your gears moving. The workshops are nice as they give ways for you to use the Triggers in a certain way. Saving prompts is great as well, considering everything generates at random, so you're not going to see the same one twice. It seems it was translated to English, but only a few errors on that part. The only downside is when they invite you to visit their site on the Tips bar, their blog is in Spanish. Other than that, great app.

Oversimplified. These writing prompts are way too simple, trite. Don't really inspire writing, just buying. The organization is really great though. Could be improved with the ability to change or add your own prompts to theirs.

Good prompt app. Great app to fuel daily writing exercises. The variety of helpful tools is pretty nice and gets the job done for beginners. Wish there were more words and ideas in the generator though, because I've seen the same words/fragments pop up several times.

Worthwhile!. Amazing for organizing your creative thoughts. The prompts are pretty elementary but they are helpful triggers for your own thinking. It won't make a person creative, but it is certainly a helpful tool.

Great Concept. Excellent idea. But it does crash a lot. A lot of the suggestions given have a supernatural base, maybe have categories? Overall good app, just needs some improvement.

Pretty good. The writing exercises are great but the title generator and person generator is kind of odd. With the titles, they have things that make no sense and with the person, the people are usually really elderly. But overall this is a fantastic app if you want to improve your creativity and writing abilities.

Extremely Continuous. I got this as a way to lengthen and structure my writing, and it never keeps me bored. However, I would love a setting where I could write and have suggestions, so that I could learn how to write better much faster. Still, awesome writing help!

Well..... The workshops are interesting and fun. But there isn't much of a variety when it comes to characters because most of them are like 40 and above. It could use some younger characters. The first lines are kinda nice. Some don't make sense but I found some I can start a story with. All in all it would be 5 stars if there were more younger characters and if all of the first lines make since. Otherwise. It's worth the 99 cents :)

Not for me, and maybe you. I bought this app because I have to write 15 min every night for school and often times I run out of ideas. I am 14 and in 8th grade and these prompts are aimed towards one group of people all the characters that come up are old. This is not good for younger audiences.

Ok. I thought it was good but I wish you could put a photo for the first page and it freezes up. It could be an amazing app just needs work.

Nicely done.. I've been running through all the prompt apps and this one seemed the most versatile and creative while not just totally random. So far- love it!! Great tips, ideas, and suggestions. The 'Triggers' section is my favorite so far- so many options and lots of good springboards for ideas. I definitely recommend this app!

Good first impression. I just got this app today and it seems pretty cool. Lots of ways to spark new ideas as far as characters and book titles. Even the five random words can help you think of something, even if it seems pointless. It does everything it promises. Oh, and you can also save things that spark an idea for you.

HAHAhA. OMG THIS APP IS HILARIOUS!!!!!! I pull up the title scrambler thing whenever I need a good laugh!! But seriously though, this app does have some good exercises and ideas.

Please add multitasking split screen support! Awesome app regardless. Love this app, I would’ve given 5 stars if it had split screen available on iPad OS though.

Uninstalled magically from my device. This app uninstalled itself (or disappeared) from my device once I got a higher IOS system and updated the app. Maybe the developers took it off the App Store to put in their other $9.99 app? I think that's it. It did look like the update wasn't there anymore, so I guess I had some warning. Oh, well, I got my use out of this in the past. Previous review: I like this app, but there's quite a few spelling/grammatical errors. I know the creator's first language isn't English, but if this app is meant to better our writing HIS writing should be better. [Better proof-read, at least. He doesn't make *that* many mistakes.] All the characters are really old. Even if you're an adult writer, you'd have to make a kid character in there somewhere. I'd love a plot line as well! The last update was good. I'm thinking about deleting this app. It's not that inspiring. It would be great if there was more spice to the suggestions!

Good. This is a good app but the notebook needs to have spellcheck. Otherwise it's pretty good and helped me come up with A tittle for my book. It also has really good exercises and prompts. 👍😄

Very good. A very good app, but it would be useful if you could write underneath the activity in the workshop. Hope you change this in the next update!

Money back. I want my money back this is not at all what I expected I thought one could actually write in the app, I thought one could create custom topics and perhaps have suggestions re that topic, but no!

Some flaws but good overall. Some awesome features (I love the workshop!) but some of the prompts are completely nonsensical which takes away from the usefulness and enjoyment
