Excellent note reading app.... Great great training app. I've been "playing" it a few times throughout the day and I can already see my sight reading improving. Major props to these developers!

Music tutor plus. This app is not at all beginner friendly. I cannot find any direction on how to set up the app. Also description states it can be hooked up to a digital piano but there are no directions on how to make that happen. Very frustrating!

Made me able to sight read music in a fun way. Made me able to sight read music in a fun way

This is super fun. I’m joining the honor band and I couldn’t read notes and now I can this helped me a lot to improve my reading notes. Do this or else I’m coming for you!!!!

Great - please add chords!. I’ve been so surprised at how smooth the app runs and how quickly I’ve been getting better at sight reading. The piano mode is well worth the price. I only wish the developer would add chords!

Great app. Wish it would allow progressive learning but great app otherwise

A helpful tool as I learn music reading. I have not tried others, but I expect this will help.

Nice layout, but doesn’t show me wrong answers. I like the layout of this app. It’s very simple, easy to adjust the settings, and has all of the options I need. The one thing I would change about this app is that it doesn’t show the correct answer when I get one wrong. If I put that a not is C# when it was actually D#, it just moves on to the next one instead of telling me that it was D#. It doesn’t do me much good if I don’t know the right answer.

Didn't think learning to sight read would be this fun!. Amazing results so far from a newbie :)

Great way to lock down basic notes. Highly recommended. Simple but effective practice

A fun learning tool. I played Treble cleft instruments throughout my younger years. This app helped me learn bass clef very quickly and the app is addictively fun. Highly recommended.

Good, but there are better apps out there. I used this app to train myself to quickly recognize notes on the staff. It was useful but it has its limitation, like not being able to train yourself to look ahead. After searching around, I now prefer Note Trainer and don’t use this app anymore

Love working and learning notes. Really love hanging out and I have so much fun leaning the notes. I have little challenges with fam trying to see who knows the most and it is just great. Really is great FR the brain and I love it. Download it Now and u will have an AMAZING TIME playing it!

Best Note learning App PERIOD!. Any time I have a minute free I go to this app. It has helped me more than anything else with my sight reading in both clefs. The scoring feature makes it like a game and I’m always striving to get a better score based on time and accuracy. It doesn’t feel like studying but you are in the best way!!! I absolutely love it and recommend it to anyone struggling to sight read!

Exactly what I wanted. Love this app. Wish it used screen space a bit better on iPad, though. Maybe a landscape mode with 2 or 3 octave keyboard, for example. Also, a reverse mode where you have to place notes on a staff would be cool.

Enjoying the app. I haven’t used this app a ton yet but it is definitely helping hone my listening skills. However, it sounds like an out of tune piano! 😬 Boo! It’s not quite bad enough that it affects correctly identifying the intervals but it would be great if the developers would up their game and give us in tune intervals to identify.

SO helpful!. I started using this ap 2 weeks ago and I’m now reading music 2-3 times faster with 100% accuracy! I love it!

Horrible. I don’t like this app because it is no fun. Yes I learn a lot but again it is not fun at all. Please revise it and make this game interesting.

Fun and helpful. I like it

Notifications. Started sending daily notifications without asking out of the blue.

Great app. Could use more statistics to see more progress but it’s a great app.

Like the flexibility. The app is simple and straightforward but you also have the option to select what specific clefs and note ranges it will quiz you on.

Great to practice!. Needed to tune my sight-reading and it’s perfect to freshen up the placement of the notes!

I love the app, just one fatal flaw…. I really do love this app. I’ve been super lazy about reading, because it’s hard to learn how to walk when you already know how to run. This app makes it a little more fun… For me there is just one big issue. I really, really wish that reading off the grand staff was an option. This app is awesome for learning how to read the individual Clefs, but many of us need to be able to read from the grand staff, and it would be a whole lot easier to just do it all at once instead of compartmentalizing. It could be just the way my brain works, but it would be super helpful to have that option. One more note: I would love to be able to practice reading time in the app as well. I know it would be a lot of work to implement. It would be like writing another app, but I would really love that option as well.

It works!. This is probably one of the best apps I have ever purchased. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. My son and I compete to see who can get a better score.

Sound of note preview. **No sound when note is selected Is this version free for Christmas Day? I downloaded it, and encountered the problem at the title. Also, why are the scores kept separate from the free and paid versions?** Took me a while to get used to the app, but it’s really great learning tool.

Helpful. As an adult beginning piano, this really helps me not hesitate as much.

Ok. Many of the stats not useful and functionality could be improved.

Highly recommend it to improve your site reading. I've been using it for a while and and had approved my site reading. Use it 5 minutes a (twice a) day you'll see a great results. Love it!!

This is a great app. It has helped me a lot improving my skills.. This is a great app. It has helped me a lot improving my skills. Recommended.

Virtual music flashcards. Awesome.. It saves you the time of making flashcards and it’s more efficient.

Great App!. A tremendous help with the foundation of music theory. Highly recommend!

Music tutor +. Very good

I Love It!. This is a excellent tutorial to build sight reading skills. I highly recommend it.

Very good!!. I'm, very happy so far, it's very convinient and allows you to study wherever you are

Great for training!. I really enjoy the option of choosing between notes and the piano keys. I find so much benefit from spending 10 minutes of my hour piano lesson practicing with this app! 5/5 for sure! p.s. To the developers, I would love to see an adjustable sizing option for the piano keys on the iPad. I enjoy being able to practice clicking the piano with the fingers as I would in the key of C for practicing!

Awesome app. I appreciate the simplicity of helping students learn notes while making it fun, like a game. The one thing I would love to have is a keyboard that has more octaves. That would really take it to the next level. I use my iPad with it, and it would be great if you could also have it turn into landscape mode with a keyboard with several octaves.

GREAT game, but sound doesn’t work anymore. This is a great game for improving your sight reading!

Useful to learners. This is the BEST way that I have found to train your brain to automatically recognize notes on the keyboard. I love it and got a friend hooked on it, too.

Great for practice. Easy simple app that helps you refresh in minutes

Wonderful. One of the most knowledge reinforcing music theory apps I’ve tried and kept

Game?. If it’s a game at least you’ll improve a skill.

Fun tool for working on basics. Highly recommend this tool for working on note recognition.

Ok. Not a bad design, but the audio quality for a $5 music app shouldn’t be so poor. I kinda want my money back

Really great!. I’ve been playing guitar for 15 years never having learned to read music. Recently I decided I wanted to be better so I started taking lessons and my instructor recommended Music Tutor and it has really helped. Plus it’s really fun to watch my average response time tick down as my score goes up over time.

AWSOME!!!. It is sooo good I love the piano! So in also take piano Lessons and it is and. This game good for because it’s good so I know my notes. 👋 Bye. Also send back thank you 😊

Great app for beginning musicians. I’m really enjoying it

Works for me!. Just what I needed.

The best app!!. It’s a amazing appYou should buy it!!

Almost Perfect. I'm glad this app has a better icon that i can stand to look at. Though, there needs to be landscape orientation support for the notes reference. So the references can be viewed in landscape. It's hard to view it smushed in a protrait view. Other then that this app has improve much over the years. I use Note Trainer as well but is nice to have a simple and quick app like this handy.

Star just star🤩✨⭐️. This has been really improving my reading of notes Thank you 😊!!!!!!!!!!!

Great for memorizing notes. I've had this app for 3 days now, and it's helping me memorize all the musical notes that I constantly struggle to remember. I truly recommend it to help you memorize musical notes.

Fantastic!. I love it! What a terrific tool.

Excellent learning tool. I always was stumped once I got to each end of a stave with those notes that hang in the air. Music tutor has taught me via repetition in a fun way to learn these. Love the keyboard option for identifying the notes. Well done.

Fantastic. Simple but very useful for beginner students struggling with note recognition.

Great little tool for adult beginners like me. Really happy with this - surprisingly struggled to find a good tool for an absolute beginner.

What do I learn?. I'm not really sure how this teaches me anything except how to hit the right button. It plays a note and I'm meant to guess which one it is?

Excellent. Great app to sharpen the reading skills

Wonderful. Really helpful in jogging my memory of music theory :)

Good. Love it. Could include optional sound tho..

Helpful. This app is very helpful, but also very boring. It did improve my sight reading a lot but it didn’t have any variation to the questions. Just ‘What note is this’ and ‘what note is this’ It did its job, but it wasn’t very engaging.

Simple and effective. Really good, quite addictive. Please add chords if you can!

Love it. I like how it links with your game centre too

Helpful app. Could do more. Great app. Good for sight reading practice in boring lectures. Would like a limiting function (so you can just learn ledger line notes or make it simpler for young students)

Great!!. This app is really simple, quite boring but it does it's purpose we'll, do even one minute of this a day and your site reading will improve so well!! If you want to improve an dedicate some time to this you will

Terrible choice by the creator. Presented an interrupting prompt to follow the author’s twitter account on the paid version. There should be NO advertising on the paid version!

Okay, but could have some improvements.. The app itself delivers what is says as adequately, but there is only so much it could do. Something that I have been looking for is an application that allows an audio input to listen for notes played (in real life) allowing a connection between the piano and the sheet music that is otherwise not achieved. I like the customisation options available, like being able to isolate certain ranges of notes to practice. All in all it is a nice app for anyone who has the patience to do it.

Music educator. A simple clear game - with good time periods for students to improve note reading. Also effective having separation of treble and bass. Well done

AWESOMELY AWESOME!!!!!!. I got this app and in a few seconds I learnt which note was which! And no adds! Awesome!!

Paid money and still get ads. I tried the free version and it was just what I wanted but annoying ads. So I bought the "Pro" version, but still getting requests to join games center. Very annoying and disappointing since I actually paid money for it.

Great.. Good for improving instant & unconscious recognition of notes on both staves. Chords please & more options.

Great app. Great app for learning notes

Music tutor. This app is terrible and it's not even the right notes

Just note it!. Great little app to help me get back into it!

Great practice app!. This is a wonderful simple app that helps a lot. My only wish would be that you had an option that revealed the right answer after you answer wrong.

This is GREAT!. This is great for people like me who are too lazy to search for cool apps. If you haven't got it yet, do it now before you miss something awesome!

Doesn't teach!. It doesn't teach you anything, just tests you. Waste if money for me!!

Good. More learning lessons for beginners

Great way to learn. Help reinforce memory!

Awesome. After decades of half know bass and treble clef, I’m convinced I will have these mastered within a week. Great practical app. Saves hours of rehearsal time. Should speed up note-reading exponentially.

Great to improve sight-reading. I just wish you would add the option to switch to Do-Ré-Mi-Fa-Sol-La-Si. Otherwise nice work! (UPDATE: thanks for listening and adding the option, switching to 5 stars!)

Excellent for learning how to play the piano. Very pleased with my purchase.

Can’t believe how fast it improved my music reading. If you need to improve your music reading you need to give this a try

Learning while playing is fun and easy. Finally learned to read piano notations within three days at 40. I was resting on the couch to heal my bad lower back and thought I’d get this app in the meantime to pass the time and attempt fir the unteenth thousand time to learn to read piano notations. I did learn to read all the treble notes and do it fast within the first day by doing the one-minute treble clef quiz. Then I did the bass clef one-minute quiz on the second day and learned to read those fast too, but it got a bit confusing in the evening when I switched to doing both the treble and the bass clefs quiz mode so early on. So, on the third day, I just focused on doing the treble clef with the goal of doing so for a week. This is the fifth day, and I’m reading faster and faster. It’s all sinking in and feels comfortable and easy to read at a glance. I will focus on doing mainly the bass quiz for a week starting on the second week to get faster at reading those notes too with ease and comfort at a glance. Then I’ll do both the treble and bass quiz on the third week. Last night, the fourth day of using this app, I already started playing the piano while reading Eric Satie’s Gymnopédie no. 1—a piece I’ve wanted to play for a long time. It’s a practice in progress, but the point is I can play while reading piano notations within the first week of using this app.. What an absolutely brilliant app! I wish all learning was done with ease and play like this. I wished for a way to learn piano notation this way for such a long time. I tried learning from books and it just never sinked in. I am a singer-songwriter, making music on piano and synths for most of my life by ear, although I can read guitar chords and tabs while playing guitar, I just never was able to learn piano notations until now because of this wonderful app. I started composing music for film this past year, so piano notation reading and writing will definitely be useful in my work. This Music Tutor Pro app is well worth it. To the creators of this app, THANK YOU!

A great tool. With the help of this app I have taught myself to read music! I can actually sight read which I think is amazing. I thank the authors

To cool for school. Really good and useful app, helps me a lot!

What an easy way to practice sight reading!. This is a great way to practice your sight reading! I really enjoy this app. I like that it has options to practice with time restrictions, or without.

Beginners. For starters I think there should be a practice mode before getting tested.

Awesome training app. I use this as often as I can.A great way to familiarize yourself

parfaite pour l'apprentissage. Je recommande fortement!

Good stuff!. Simple and useful. Keeps up my sight reading skill.

Reading notes. Interesting

Good for training. Great

Review. This is terrible. No instructions to explain how the app works. I was hoping that this would teach me how to read music. Don't waste your 99cents.

Knowledge Required. This app is a great review and mental exercise. However, you must have a basic knowledge of sheet music. If not, FACE and All Cows Eat Grass can only get you so far.

Great App. This IS a Great App! It may not have fancy colors etc. (It doesn't need frills to be good). What makes this App stand out, is the review! There are many others available, but few come close! If you can't learn from your mistakes, you really can't learn. I teach Music Theory and Piano, I strongly suggest each and every one of my students use this App! It's better than the pounds of boring worksheets I endured! Suggestion: make it customizable and it would be worth 10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thanks

Having fun, looking forward to levelling up!. Just a beginner who needs too brush up on some music theory amd sight reading. So far so good.

Terrible. Not useful at allo

Annoyed with Leaderboard. I am trying to find an app for my studnets, but the leaderboard does not seem to work well... Kind of disappointed.

Music tutor. It's the best app for sight reading on the App Store. I'm a pro, but could only read notes very very slowly. I'm absolutely surprised how good I am now.👍

Needs tutorial. Cool app, Needs a tutorial and a progression in learning to esrn a 5/5.

Needs the Tutor part. As a newbie, this tutor is too hard. I need a flashcard type page that I can learn from first before a test of the notes. It also needs a basic level. I am just learning the notes on the lines, not ones that are three levels above and below and sharps and flats. A basic test with a choice of two ie C or E is where I would be at right now. Otherwise I am just finding a note I know and then working my way through the alphabet until I find it. It is the best tutor out there so far though!

Good. Please add C clefs!

Great!. Great for quick ear exercise. Clean layout, easy to operate, can review mistakes after session (visually and aurally).

Great little App for improving speed of note recognition. My daughters (8 & 12) and I use this tool in conjunction with piano & guitar practice as part of the weekly homework. We keep a little table of high scores on the 5 minute game. Great to have a goal to increase speed of note reading (higher score without losing accuracy in 5 min game). Agree this program would benefit from a 'note reading tutorial' to round it out. I'd recommend this app for late beginner or early intermediate learners who already know how to figure out the notes, but still have to apply a mnemonic to figure it out. Especially great to learn notes above and below the ledger lines, and as a transition to bass clef. Use this app 3 times per week for a month and you'll be sight reading without even thinking. Say goodbye to 'Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge' and 'All Cows Eat Grass', etc.

Pretty good, could be great. Would like to see a 2 min time option and it definitely needs microphone access capabilities to listen to notes played and differentiate between octaves.

Très aidant. Je n'arrivais vraiment pas à apprendre adéquatement à lire la musique. Grâce à cette app., je pratique ma lecture à tous les jours et je peux enfin lire une partition

Bryce's Review. I think that this is a great app for learning but I do wish there was a tutorial or something for the people who aren't accustomed to reading music. I am a violinist and read treble fine, but for newbies might be helpful. Also I wish that the makers would include Alto Clef for those who would like to learn it. It is because of this that I have only given this app 4 stars.

Good but I would like to see 2 updates. I would give it a five if I saw two updates. First would be the sight reading more than one note at a time. As a pianist this would help. And secondly, I don't like how the noise it makes when you guess correctly or incorrectly is different from the actual note you guessed. It makes the sound of the note, which it plays right before, almost pointless. It would be great if when you guessed a certain note it would play that note rather than a boop noise. This way if you guessed the wrong note you can hear the difference and it helps you work toward perfect pitch. Whichever programmer thought that the boop sound was a good user-friendly idea obviously wasn't thinking correctly.

Great skill exercise!. You need to have a basic understanding of how notes are arranged on the staff. Like knowing FACE for the open spaces on the treble clef and ACEG on the bass clef, then you can count up and down to figure the others. Also remember that, A# and Bb ect., are the same key key on the piano .

Way better than flashcards!. I love the fact that it plays the note. This means that a singer can also practice hitting their desired note. An improvement I would suggest is to offer the option of hitting a note on a virtual keyboard instead of just on a bunch of labeled circles. A person could practice sometimes one way, sometimes the other.

Cool. I'm sure this app is really useful but for newbies, like me, I don't know how to read music in first place so trying to test myself on something I don't know is a little difficult. Maybe they should include a page that will show what the notes are beforehand so I can then test myself.

Always wanted to be able to read sheet music. Now I can, I love being able to adjust the ranges of the notes so that I can practice reading the ones I am struggling with.

Good but needs more options.... It works great, I just wish it had more options. Like an option to hide the timer (seeing the time going down just stresses me out!). I'd also like an option to turn off the sharps and flats, so I can just focus on learning the basic note names first before adding those in to mix it up more. Other than that it's a great app and really helping me memorize my notes, which is something I really need to do!

Excellent for me. If I had more self discipline to play this at least 30 minutes a day continuously for one year I'm sure my sight reading will reach a much better stage. App is wonderful. Where do the people can by self discipline ? I need some.

A beginner. I am a harmonica player and learned primarily by ear. Something was missing and it has been not being able to read written music. Now I read and will gain precision and reduce learning time. Im also a beginning piano an guitar player. Reading is helping me progress rapidly. This app enables me to apply the few bits of music theory i had picked up. Five stars!

The App I've always needed. This app more than satisfies my need for a great sight reading app. It is fully functional and includes multiple clefs. The Graphics and User Interface are top notch, and it includes leader boards to compete against my friends. This is a great app for learning to read music quickly and it is definitely something that every musician should have on their iPhone!

Awesome!. I love this app. It's helping me learn the notes on the staff quickly. Soon I'll be reading notes like I read words. :) I only wish it had more of an explanation on everything sheet music. Pictures along with names and what it does etc... That would get it 5 stars!

Excellent app. I was a music minor in college, alas, that was many moons ago and I thoroughly forgot how to read music. This app definitely helped jog my memory. I wish it had a special mode where you could also learn to read by interval. This sort of jumps a little too much for that.

Top Tier Sight Reading App. This simple but effective app will very easily help you learn notes on a scale and gameplay is addicting! I love the improvements they've made with this app over time; especially the graphs and being able to set range and keyboard/notes to enter Looking forward to seeing more music apps from this developer, maybe something along the lines of chord recognition or any music theory or education apps in general! Great work!

Nice but.... This app would be 5 stars if it kept track of your progress and allowed you to choose the range of notes that you wish to learn. I agree with others - the flats and sharps get annoying and I wish they could be turned off. I just want to learn the notes. Also, the algorithm that is used to generate notes seem to be giving me the same group of notes over and over again. It would also be useful to know how many notes you got wrong and how many you got right at the end of each session. Other than that, simple to use and I'm glad I can have it on my iPhone too.

Testing my music skill. Recently while looking through the App Store I found this one and thought I'd give it a try. I've used it only a times but have been happy with the app. I need to practice, though, to respond faster!

Simple. Fun. Useful.. I really like it. It's clean, uncluttered, and gets the job done while challenging me. Great for learning those pesky ledger lines. I hope in future versions they'll include key signatures instead of just the accidentals. Having a similar test for key signature names would also be amazing.

Perfect note recognition app. This app is just what I was looking for. It quizzes your note recognition in the treble clef alone, bass clef alone, or both by randomly mixing them. I like that you can easily specify the range of notes, and that it goes up to 3 ledger lines above and below BOTH staves. It quizzes you flash card style, telling you only if you were right or wrong during the quiz, but then allows you to review your mistakes after the quiz. Works perfectly on my iPad Air. It is uncluttered and straightforward, just what I appreciate as an adult amateur musician.

Basic but Solid. Very good for beginners as well as an exercise for the brain of a more advanced musician. Choose between letter names or a keyboard for two different ways of thinking of the notes, especially of help for performers.

Really nice app. Great app. I especially like that you can do both clefts at once. That is surprisingly hard to find. This has really improved my speed of recognition. The only improvement I would suggest is the ability to pick the note on the actual instrument (like on a virtual violin strings), instead of just the letters of the notes. Great app none the less.

Perfect. Be sure to skip the free version. The ads will drive you nuts. This app is well worth the dollar 99. I really like being able to select particular ranges of notes, and also the option of including or not including sharps and flats. It's an excellent app and I've tried many others similar to this. Just go with this one it's the best.

Sweeeet!!. Very cool app!! I've been playing piano for over 20 years, but I never really learned how to read music. This app is helping me to memorize all the notes. Now I just have to make sure I can read and play at the same time. :)

Great stuff.. I love this app! I use it all the time because I am currently taking an intro to music theory class. I have noticed quite the improvement in my reading, so it has helped, but I do agree with the others...a level system would be nice. I would also like to see the addition of a fourth ledger line for more advanced reading. This is a very straightforward "no frills" app, so tweaking it a little couldn't hurt. Other than that, it's a really nice time killer.

Music Gamification. I love this app. Taking piano lessons and I have been bad at the bass clef but this app brings me right up to the skill level of where I want to be. Might I suggest in the achievements section to add achievement separation for bass clef, treble clef, and the both clefs. I think it would be a wonderful addition. Thanks so much for this app!!!

Prior version was better. An excellent program that produces results. The latest version adds a feature that flashes correct/incorrect with every response. That feature is extremely distracting and needs to be removed. Otherwise, an excellent program

Great for teachers & students !!. I'm a piano teacher & I keep myself sharp by practicing with this ap. The note makes a sound when you touch it - or you can play silent. I encourage my students to practice with this ap for better note identification - it really helps !!! AAA +

Great app!. This has been enormously helpful to my 8-year-old daughter as she learns piano. She does 5-10 minutes a day and you can watch the scores go up ever few days. Thank you for this!

Simple and effective. I've only had this a few days and I already see an improvement. I spend a few minutes a few times a day, and am recognizing the notes noticeably faster already.

Awesome. Great app

Amazing. Simple but amazing. I do 10 mins a day when I'm waiting and huge improvement. Don't skip a day and you'll be reading rapid within a few days. Start slow then go faster, don't guess, think first and you'll grow faster

Excellent Learning Tool. I've used this app over the last few years and it has been beneficial in helping me learn notes. I like that over time it tracks my progress, which has been satisfying. I continue to use this app and highly recommend it for beginners.

Excellent but needs more to it.. This app has really helped in improving my sight reading when it comes to single notes, but I feel that it needs more features like recognizing/learning: chords (2, 3, 4, & even 5 note chords), key signatures, what certain notes are in certain keys (instead of just C major all the time), scales that represent key signatures, the different tempos, etc.

Music Tutor review. I was looking for an application to improve my piano music sight reading that would quiz bass clef "and treble" clef "simultaneously" as you would view on music sheet... One over the other; in other words a whole measure wouldn't be necessary, just two clefs... There is no such application. That being said, this is my favorite app out there. I would also include "Note squish" a little fun while you are learning. I find Music Tutor more beneficial as at least you can quiz yourself on bass and clef without resetting.. Still if you are going to improve dramatically the "left and right brain" must learn to work simultaneously . Somebody out there has to create such an app. Call it "serious sight reader"

Very helpful!!. This is a great app for learning to read notation. I highly recommend it. My only suggestion is that they add the ability to turn the phone sideways so the note names are stationary and maybe slightly larger. I could go a lot faster if I didn't have to keep looking down at the note names.

Good Practice, Levels Would Improve It. A very good way to practice. I like that you hear the notes, and that you can review your mistakes. It would be much more helpful, though, if I could choose different levels to work at. I'm just starting to memorize the Treble Clef and would prefer to leave out the ledger lines until I've learned the basic staff. There's no way to do that. A tiny bit more choice would be wonderful. Still, it's a good way to get in short bursts of practice wherever you are.

Wonderful App!. I went three decades without using my music reading knowledge. When I began to need to refresh my music reading, I looked for the best app for this task. This music reading tutor app is my favorite of all I've seen. It is a wonderful app!

Better than Facebook. At least with this app and a smartphone you will learn something during the day other than what your friends ate for lunch. Great app for brushing up or learning to read sheet music for the first time.

Love it!!. I love this app! Although, there are a few things that could be done to improve the app like, so fetch, different keys, finding different keys, matching pitch to the written note on the staff, and writing your own music. These things would be nice to have. If these things were to be added I would rate it a complete and total five stars. I try my hardest to do well in music and these things will improve me and many other people.

i love it. great practice 😁🤓❤️🔥✨🙌🏻

4 stars. I get stressed by the timer...would rather have it count up and try beating my best as I practice. There is no learning mode, bummer, just testing. Nice control given to adjust difficulty as far as range of notes, treble, bass, or both, time limit, etc. Liked ability to have in piano key mode, but then appreciate other mode as well since keyboard can't slide higher/lower.

An excellent educational tool!. This app is excellent for any level musician, but is especially useful in the classroom for note reading drills. The students all thoroughly enjoy it, and it helps their memorization greatly. The developer is also incredibly kind and responsive, and has been very helpful in terms of adding features and squashing bugs. These folks definitely deserve your support. Thanks for the great app, guys!

It's a sad day for music tutorials. Congrats I spent two bucks so I could rate this: The solfege syllable option is highly inaccurate and poorly executed. The syllables are supposed to be relative to a given key. They also DO have alternate syllables for tones that are not on the tonic scale and which vary depending on whether or not they are ascending or descending. (so not fa-# but rather "fi") For a tutorial this is fairly unforgivable which is why I gave it two stars. Please either remove the solfeggio option OR make them relative to a given key signature and then adjust their names accordingly. Also it is "ti" prior to "do". Not "si", which is a raised "so(l)".

Not very useful. The screenshot to this app is misleading. On the last screenshot which shows user has incorrectly selected a answer. In the screenshot it looks like it will correct you but it's just not the case. When it comes to wrong answers This app works exactly the same as the free one. It will blink the right answer then quickly move to the next question. Personally I think that set up is stupid. I would've never thought the paid app worked the same way. I would recommend avoiding this app at all cost.

Out freaking standing. Got this app not really having any idea how to read music. 6 months of this app and I'm already sight reading at a 2 year level, and I'm only been playing piano for 1 year. Worth the investment. Priceless

Great App. I love this app. It's helped my sight reading immensely. I love the new immediate response feature where it shows you right then if you're correct or not. Some people have complained, but I no longer have to take my eyes off of the staff and up to my Accuracy Percentage to know if I was right, which was a problem for me. Also, some people have complained about the amount of notes that are on ledger lines, but again, I loved it because it forced me to learn them very quickly. I used to be terrible at them, but now i read ledger lines just as easily as normal notation. A truly helpful app, and fun too. I play this instead of the games on my iPhone/iPad. 5 out of 5 for me.

If only .... In the hunt for an ap for my son who is a year into piano to sharpen his note recognition and found this. While very challenging for myself, I wish the above/below the staff could be turned on or off, he is not ready for this and there is a large portion of these kinds of 'questions'. If it had that feature, I would give 5 stars! Maybe multiple levels of play would be a thought!

Live this! Great practice for music lessons. I am taking guitar and having trouble reason notes quickly and certain notes confuse me when i see them on the staff line. This is excellent practice I can do anywhere! I like the quiz format that is fun to do and especially the ability To review my mistakes. I think this will help me tremendously. Will rate again once I have used it more but I love it so far!

Need the options to be a little different ..... Love the app for my piano students. However my youngest students need to be able to set the parameters at less than an octave to be useful. I'd like, for instance, to be able to set treble at C4-G4 when a child is learning those notes. Older versions of Music Tutor did this. Can it be changed back please ?

bluetooth MiDi. need to add support of bluetooth midi.

Alto clef and chords. I like your app and find it helpful. Playing viola it is helpful for reading violin and cello parts or using piano scores. Would be nice to see Alto clef in the app or triad chord ID with inversions. Many non keyboard musicians could use that kind of workout. Really like the addition of sound. Maybe there could be a perfect pitch trainer where the sound is played, the user names the pitch, and the correct pitch is shown. Just a thought.

Simple and straightforward. Easy to use app. bought it for my 7 year old. it's not very fun - but it does exactly what i hoped. it gives you a note to read and 8 or so choices to guess from. At the end you can review the notes you read wrong.
