Meh. It did an ok job. It told me what key I was in, however it was super slow. I would be playing a key, then switch. Ten years later it realized I switched to another key and finally told me what I was in. It might’ve been because of poor internet connection but I don’t think the app requires internet connection to tell what key you’re in.

WHY ?!?!?? 🙄. The foundation of the app is great. Everything seems to be simple but when i tuned my Bb Clarinet none of the notes matched. I thought it was my jacky reed yall so i opened a new reed still the notes didnt match up. Finally it hit me to go to the piano and boom EVERY SINGLE NOTE WAS GREEN . When i played on my clarinet it was giving me notes that didnt even makes sense like for example i played a Eb and it told me it was a C 🤨 so i thought to myself maybe this is in the settings of an instrument not in my range then had the idea to look through settings . I changed some stuff and changed it back and changed it again nothing happened just same ole’ same ole’ so i gave up 🤣 . If ya really wanna use this app dont use it for other instruments use it for pianos 😂. Or maybe im doing something wrong 🤷🏾‍♀️ but man that whole thing makes me wanna skip my practice time for today LOL.

Great for piano tuning. This is a great app for piano tuning, it gives you what you need and has minimal ads. It tells you how many cents off the tone is, and has a waterfall display to visualize tone stability. Plus, the pro version is only $3.

Love this tuner- put it in a pedal please!. I do a lot of recording where you ideally tune for specific riffs played around the fretboard. I love that I can see the initial pick attack as being sharper and where the note will settle as it sustains. Properly tuned guitar so essential it’s overlooked.

Great tuner!. Works just as well as a regular tuner. I especially like how you can see just how far off your tone is and that you can set different sensitivities!

Good app, does what it is supposed to. There are buttons to press that will play a pitch for you to match, you do have to hold them down, which might be difficult if you are playing an instrument. It also uses the microphone to pick up sounds and match them to a pitch and tell you if they are too high/low. It work perfectly for what I am trying to do. Good app.

Best app that there is tuning via a device. The tuning is so precise, I move my fine tuners on my cello ever so slightly and it registers it. (note if you have a bad microphone you may have some issues) It can’t hold a pitch for tuning by ear, that’s honestly the only downside I see to it.

If I had this tool years ago, I could probably sing by now. Seriously. I know nothing about singing, but I always wished I could have a singing instructor. Sit beside me and tell me yes you’re on key no, you’re not on key. That’s exactly what this will do. It’s super handy for an absolute beginner like myself and, I understand from my music teacher, very handy for accomplished musicians as well.

Just works. Very useful for tuning my viola, it’s better and more accurate than most tuner apps. I got this about a week ago, after hearing my open strings in-tune (and checking by playing the corresponding fifths in my piano’s alto area, I can confirm it’s accurate) I realized that I’ve been doing it wrong for years lol (especially with my C string)

What happened?. I like this a lot better than the previous free app I was using, being more instantly visual. Today though it suddenly developed a buzz and then quit working for a while. After an hour’s break it’s back on its game. Glad to have it back.

Love it!!. I’ve tried tons of tuner apps, and even paid for a popular one back in the day- pretty sure it was a Wednesday… anyway- Love the multiple tuning displays and it’s versatility. Also- the layout/look is friggin awesome. Best wishes to the creators! Cheers

Good but major un-functional low side of piano. This app is great, it is very very accurate with my piano but sadly the tuner cannot track anything lower than A2 of my piano. A little bit too for the high notes you only get to see like 1.5 secs of how much is out of tuned so you can’t really see it for sure. All I need out of all this is the A2 and lower fixed pls. I would pay if this is on the paid app. Plz fix and I will consider upgrading.

Great tuner!. I love this tuner because it does such a good job at showing you what you’re currently playing and how far you are from being in tune. I also like that I can change the range of what is considered “in tune” so that as my ear gets better I can make it where I need to be more precise with my tuning. Great app!

Good app. I think this app is good because I play a trombone and I’ve listen to various thing I’ve used other apps and they don’t sound like it should or it doesn’t figure out the no I’m playing but this app does

Awesome, Practical Tuner App for Band Kids. This is an awesome app. While simple, it single-handedly outperforms all freemium tuner apps I’ve ever used. Showing granular detail, it is very practical. It is also sensitive— and it has previews of notes, which is nice. Specifically, I appreciate how it seamlessly handles different instruments and their various pitches, whilst staying accurate. This is invaluable as a section leader at my HS band! Thanks for such a wonderful app!

Skibidi Saxamaphone. As a very skibidi saxaphone i appreciate the fact the i can tune my sigma alto saxaphone perfectly! I would highly recommend this to any other band sigmas that want to seriously upgrade their skibidi alpha skills!🎷

Great!. This tuner works really well, I always use it when I’m playing my flute and it works great!! It’s always super helpful and doesn’t bombard you with ads and stuff 24/7. It’s really great and has helped me a lot, so I would really recommend it.

OMG SOOOO GOOD. Are use this for my orchestra class, and this is so hip and Welk, I love it, so freaking much, and it brings joy to my day every day. I love it more than life, and we do anything to make sure that this app stays running. If you’re thinking about downloading it just do it because it’s so good and so fetch.

L O V E IT. Yes, it could be better but not by much if you are looking for a tuner that allows hrtz measurement other than 440hrtz. This is a must if you don’t want all the unnecessary additions (that I would never use). Just want to tune and get it on. Some advertising does happen. Really not much to speak of.

The whole package. Finally a dependable tuner that also gives frequency address. Mosdef worth the money. I use it in my practice as well as studio. Very nice to use on tour as well to pinpoint problem frequencies in your monitor wedge.

Little Boring. When I first saw this app, I thought it was going to be the best app ever created for me! But then I realized (after I used it for a while) it was actually really boring. It wasn’t really that fun to use and the features allowed (even when you are pro) are not the best. The Continuous Display glitched every note I played. The Smart Detector couldn’t even detect that I was playing the violin! But still, the tuner is still somewhat useful sometimes.

Great free app. At first the app is a little confusing but once you take a little time to actually understand how the app works which attack me 2 to 3 minutes then it's actually very easy and helpful.

Way too sensitive. This could be a good thing for musicians who want to get their tone steady but as a beginner having an oboe, it is very weird. You can change the “sensitivity” but when I tried doing that, it said my notes were way too sharp compared to the normal settings which said the tone was normal.

Spot On!!!. I was so in the weeds tuning my new 5 string base. This ap made it easy! I mean easy. I have retuned to it several times today as the strings stretch. The green bar is a perfect target. Job well done!

Very useful. I like this a lot. I am making wooden flutes. I use this to test the tuning as I make flutes. I like that it is accurate and responsive. It also has a tone generator, which is helpful in certain use cases. I wish it has a graduated scale to show how deviant a note is. I don’t see any graduated scale, other than there being a digital value. I also wish the tone generator covered more octaves. Still, great app.

Suddenly stopped working. I purchased this app and it worked well for a couple of months. Suddenly a couple of weeks ago, it suddenly stopped working. It made a buzzing sound and would not register the instrument playing. I remove the app and then reinstalled it. I actually paid for it a second time. It worked for about a day and then the same thing happened again. I don’t see any way to contact the developer and get a refund. I was very disappointed.

Keep it simple & small. Easy to use. Clear, uncluttered visual feedback. Minimal storage space. Free. Only request would be the option of “latching” the tone buttons to free up both hands when tuning by ear.

Great feedback for vibe Rado exercises on the guitar. I wanted a clear smooth vibrato on the guitar and needed to see how far the sharp and flat push/pull was working. I tried many many tuner apps all of which jitter around so much it was annoying. This tuner not only tunes but shows the waveform of how close you are or far away you are. It is perfect. I would pay for it but I cannot figure out how :-)

Amazing tuner. Having a tuner that graphs the frequency over time is so helpful. I usually play with old strings and so the pitch can take a while to settle. Being able to watch the pitch settle takes all the frustration out of tuning.

Wow!. I got this app a few days ago and it’s helping me so much for my upcoming concert! The ads are kept to a minimum to! Although I have been finding it hard to understand if I’m playing to high or low, could you please find a way to fix that? Otherwise, it’s absolutely amazing!

What the Hell .... Your app was thee best tuner app out there!!! Did you do any updates recently??? Tonite my phone app pick up feedback noise thru app on cell , this never happen before. I reinstalled it , now app is jumpy and getting guitar tuned was an adventure tonite .. grrrr!!! On my way looking for another tuner - GREAT!

Great tuner for phone. This picks up the tones of my many instruments easily, and this app has always worked without issue for me. Would recommend-very easy and quick to use, and very useful during an in-depth tuning session or a quick tune-up.

(Can’t get rid of review). I wrote this review about this app a while ago for a performance and deleted the app cause I couldn’t figure it out I later found out that the app wasn’t working because I was on FaceTime with a friend and it was using the audio

Best app DOWNLOAD THIS APP. This is the best tuning app that was ever created. It works so well and it’s free! It can tune many instruments. I tune my trombone, piano, and ukulele playing this app! I gave away my old guitar because I didn’t have a good tuner. Wish I would’ve came across this app sooner!

This is the one.. The only tuning app that doesn’t hinder use with annoying ads or lock you into a specific tuning.

Great job on difficult task. I use the app to help me tune antique reed organs. The scrolling time line is very useful In diagnosing problems as well as tuning. These instruments are tuned in many pitches. The app makes that adjustment. Some small problems in the very base ranges

Great app but just a few changes need to be made. This app is great but I wish I could adjust to each instrument and know whether I am tune a concert pitch instrument our a Bb instrument. Because I am a trumpet player and when I play a G it shows that it is an F on the tuner, and no this is not an intonation problem because I can tunes and it will still be wrong. I guess what I am saying is please make it to where you can adjust to a different instrument.

DCH The ad wins, I lose. The advertisements seem to make it completely unusable. I can’t seem to get back to the tuner no matter what I do. I can’t make the advertisement go away. If I click on the link to go to the advertisement website, when I come back to the tuner, it is still frozen by the ad. What a shame! The app was very good for maybe a minute, before the ad popped up.

Awesome App. This app gives an accurate display of how sharp or flat my instrument is, and you can tune to different notes. Highly recommend for any level instrument player!!

Ez. Ez to use no brainer tuner for those times when your brain is out to lunch or even when you’re lazy and don’t want to focus on anything but what the strings might bring.

Develop great relevant pitch. This app is very effective in developing or fine tuning your perfect or relative pitch. I make sure all of my trombone students download this app and check their pitch while they’re practicing. Young trombone players often struggle with pitch and slide positions. This app is the quickest way for them to land on 1 note, and then play that note exactly how and where it is on their slide. Then they can check their pitch to make adjustments accordingly.

Probably not a big deal-. So This is a really good app! I do use it when I’m playing but I did notice this strange thing If I ever screen record on the app, it plays a high and loud note throughout the ENTIRE video on photos. I’m not sure why this happens or if it’s with my phone but screen recording anything else works This isn’t a big deal but it partially is for me since I use this app to help me figure out notes for songs I wanna learn but can’t find sheet music to.

takes too long. used to be great. More recently, I wanna say the past year its been progressively getting slower. Now when I open it it's just frozen. I wait a few seconds until it asks me to pay then I swipe down, then I wait again for the ad to load, after dismissing the ad it still is non responsive. Takes a solid minute total to actually get to the tuning. Frankly doesn't make me want to pay for the ad free version since I don't trust the programming to be efficient. And if it's not efficient and quick, it can't possibly function as a tuner. Keep it simple, keep it fast. Really disappointed.

Not worth the money. I paid $2 for this app after my friend recommending it to me. My microphone is halfway broken, it works with some apps but not others, so when the app couldn’t recognize that I was playing, I wasn’t surprised. Since I had paid money for theirs app, I decided to restart my phone, and then it worked perfectly! I have to restart my phone every time I want to tune my violin, which is time consuming and annoying. I don’t think my phone is the problem, because the app works perfectly after I restart my phone. I really like the way this app works, but if I always have to restart my phone, I think I’m going to have to use a different app.

Don't use this app if you have an instrument connected to orchestra. I was recently looking for an app I could use to tune my viola strings correctly and this app didn't work all too well with that. The only string that was properly in tune was my A string, all the other strings were way too low (according to this app). Once I got to my C string the app wasn't even correctly picking up on the tunes and was saying it was too low when the string was too high in tune, this is very bad because I do not have anymore spare C strings currently, and if I ended up breaking my C string I would have had to spend money for a new string just because the app for some reason could not pick up on the sound of the C string. I know the app heard me playing because I was playing loud enough for it to pick up. I will not be using this app again because of the risk of me almost snapping my C string. If anyone uses apps to try and tune their instruments, I recommend using tuner ninja, its a website on google I believe (and its free to use, no payments) and it tunes stringed instruments very well. Im not sure about other types of instruments since the only instrument I play is a viola, but I can say that it works very well for tuning strings.

Innacurate. Whenever i tune my saxophone and play a C for the tuning note the app claims that i’m playing an A# which i’m not. And the same goes for every other note. I play one note it says it’s a different one.

Suggestion :). It would be cool if you could deflect certain notes to where it actually doesn’t turn green, I would use this personally to practice free styling singing while in key and I would happily pay for that feature!

Best tuner for classical wind players. I am a bassoonist in one of the top 5 US orchestras. The latest version of this app is my favorite tuner. (I’ve tried many.) Much easier to read with continuous display disabled (set with a toggle in the settings). The graphic line gives an excellent representation of your general pitch, the general stability of your tone, and you quickly learn what a preferred vibrato looks like, too. When trying alternate fingerings, it is much easier to see the real general pitch of a fingering compared to another fingering than any other type of display I’ve seen (Korg-like needles etc.). There were some adjustments made over previous versions, and it now picks up very well the full range of the bassoon (many tuners get confused in the low notes).

Great app if you just want a tuner…😀. Great app if you already know what you’re doing and just want a tuner to put on your phone and hand when you need it… no ad’s no signing up I went through ten other tuner apps till I found this one I hope I can save you some time.. this is what you need..

One of the best. This tuner has been one of the beat apps I've found to tune as it is clear consistent and also gives you visual history on how you did but there are some small issues such as the app failing on me once after a long tuning but all in all a good app

Ads. This tuner app is amazing, not only accurate but you can change the hz! One flaw that I’m starting to get frustrated about is that ads are popping up way more often, like I mean taking up the whole screen instead of those little banners. Some are fairly inappropriate to younger ages using this app. If you could change your system with ads slightly that’ll make everything perfect!

Brilliant, love it, helps me to play my double bass. THANKYOU. Thank you. This app is brilliant, it’s almost organic in the way it just works. I acquired a double bass, needed to tune it - this app worked. When playing it - there are no fret marks, you play by ear, so this app helps me to see that I’m in tune. Absolutely brilliant. This one’s different. In that it gives you a record of intonation over time …. That’s a big big deal - you can see the way a string behaves right from the moment it was plucked, some seconds ago, and the way that decay affects intonation Highly recommendable

Great for Choir. As a tenor, I can drop these notes an octave (adjusts up, too), and find my note. Plug in the earphone and it's not a distraction.

T 1 tuner. When I began using this tuner for my violin and harp, it worked beautifully, but lately it’s been crashing on me. The lines glitch , break and stop showing up at all. This morning it did nothing at all so I deleted it and reinstalled it. Still glitchy - broken lines etc. Suggestions?

Im not satisfied. For those of you about to buy,dont waste your time UNLESS you are a person who likes to tune by ear,i prefer to have a proper (virtual) tuner.all this app is is u tap the key of your instrument and it plays the sound.

SO MANY ADS!!. It works decently as a tuner, but if you don’t buy the paid version, it forces you to watch ads every 1-2 minutes of using the tuner. This aggressive bombardment makes it basically impossible to use the app.

Hi. Cool

This just became my favourite tuner app. The free version is fully functional and provides so much info in real time, can be used to tune any instrument (I use it for drums and guitar, ukelele etc) or voice or just the pitch of every noise you hear in a perpetual frequency graph which is fun. Latency sensitivity adjustment lets you filter out reaponse to background noise in varying amounts so it is very adaptable. This is all I need - I’m upgrading to the Pro version though as this dev deserves some love

Not bad, too much delay. Not too bad, love the wave trace feature, however it won’t pickup drums; there needs to be a couple seconds before it picks anything up, so any initial attack information it processes is not accurate at all.

I’m rating this :). I think there should be Octave -2 And +2 because this app doesn’t go as low as my guitar and it doesn’t go as high as my piano, but other than that this app is amazing.

Cool app. I use it whenever I’m in class before we start, and there are basically no interruptions! Also I’m not a bot this is a genuine response

Solid Cello Pitch Finder. I use this app when I play cello to tune the strings and see how well I'm hitting the notes. It works great for every note except open c, where it has trouble detecting if any frequency is being played. Everything else works like a charm!

I love it but it’s a bit laggy. I downloaded this app because I wanted to measure the frequency on a radio, ( the buzzing on the radio ) so when I downloaded it, I used it and I used it on a frequency, it was really laggy when I did it. Even when I played the tones on the app, I did it fast, it slowed down and lagged.

Like the interface. Really good interface gives you a clear idea of drift and starting pitch. Really great integration for producers/pianists you’ll like how it’s presented.

Great but continuous display doesn’t work. The continuous display makes each note different than the real sound it also makes it glitchy

Great free app. At first the app is a little confusing but once you take a little time to actually understand how the app works which attack me 2 to 3 minutes then it's actually very easy and helpful.

W Tuner 🔥🔥🔥🔥. This is the best, most simple tuner I have ever had. It’s free and it it’s preference settings get pretty specific. Highly recommend for string players.

Great for practice!. I have been using T1 tuner to focus my violin intonation. It has helped tremendously. The app is stable and easy to read while practicing.

Tuned my Spinet Harpischord. I’m restoring a 1962 Spinet Harpsichord from Neupert. This app works very well and accurately compared to a couple others I downloaded prior. So pleased. Instrument hasn’t sounded this nice in years.

Great multi instrument option. Was looking for a multi instrument tuning option and found Tuner T1. Works for piano, guitar, ukulele and more. Check the settings to adjust app sensitivity. Very happy with it.

Started well and has recently gone to sh$&. This started off nice and working a week to a week and half is hers progressively worse, like you try then they pursued you to buy premium to make it like it was at first. It hardly reads now thank you team

Review. I’m pretty smart about music so I know how to convert trumpet music into tuba music but the high notes for trumpet is a B flat and low notes for tuba is B flat but anyway there’s an ad every 24 seconds so that’s just something you have to be aware of before you buy this

Not great. Stops working after maybe a minute because of adds i guess? Not certain why but I'm tired of having to clear it out and going back in just to repeat every few notes

Ez. Ez to use no brainer tuner for those times when your brain is out to lunch or even when you’re lazy and don’t want to focus on anything but what the strings might bring.

It’s a good tuner. This tuner has helped me a lot sense I got it. I definitely recommend it to anyone who just needs a simple and easy to use tuner.

Non functional. Either I’m surrounded by ghosts wailing every sharp and flat note in existence that only this app can hear or this app is busted because the line is constantly shooting left and right flipping through notes like a lie detector. When I saw it say you need to be in a quiet place they should have specified a certified sound proof room.

MY FAVORITE!!!!. I love this so much! It tells you everything and can play different octaves and IT IS MY FAVORITE TUNER APP I HAVE EVER DOWNLOADED!!! And lemme tell you, I’ve downloaded QUITE a few tuners that are perfect for band. I think I’ll use this for the rest of my band life!!! Spot On!!!. I was so in the weeds tuning my new 5 string base. This ap made it easy! I mean easy. I have retuned to it several times today as the strings stretch. The green bar is a perfect target. Job well done!

Very useful. I like this a lot. I am making wooden flutes. I use this to test the tuning as I make flutes. I like that it is accurate and responsive. It also has a tone generator, which is helpful in certain use cases. I wish it has a graduated scale to show how deviant a note is. I don’t see any graduated scale, other than there being a digital value. I also wish the tone generator covered more octaves. Still, great app.

Great free tuner. Served me very well and is nice because it shows your pitch very precisely relative to the actual pitch you're trying to play. I just wish it had a drone option, because then it would be perfect.

Picking up something unusual... I was just using his app after purchasing it, and it was going crazy picking up noises that weren’t even there. It wasn’t connected to headphones I know that for a fact. I’m in a completely silent room. Idk what it was picking up, but it wasn’t me.

Great visualization for tuning. Minor issues. - Connected Bluetooth speaker doesn’t play notes from this app. - in-app support request form doesn’t submit, no error message just hangs there

Kudos to the Maker. Great app, man! I had this as my second choice in what my primary tuning app would be to tune my Wurlitzer (acoustic) piano. Man, this works so well. Definitely beats calling in for a pricey tuneup!

Unknown problem. You see I have been using this for a while, but all of a sudden it stoped picking up notes at all. I have no clue why but this is the reason I have rated the one star, however If this problem is fixed in the future I will gladly change my review.

Very useful app. What I like about it is that I can tune the "A" to whatever pitch is needed. This feature makes the tuning very flexible.

Confusing but works. I tried with my flute it doesn’t work for me and it helped me figure out I had a broken key I recommend using this app :)

Honestly a really great tuner. Me being in an orchestra band I need a tuner for my percussion instruments and I really needed a tuner so I got a tuner and I found a good one, that is this one. :)

One of the only accessable tuners. Almost completely Voiceover friendly, which is rare for tuners. However if Voiceover were to announce mhz without user touching it would be much easier. Can't tune hands free yet.

Great tuner, but really annoying adds!. Tuning is great, but the adds are super annoying! I’m a trombonist, and this works very well! The adds are the only thing that really sets me off. Overall, great app!

Perfect tuner. Just one suggestion to the developer. This is the best tuner I’ve used. Ever. Period. I have one suggestion to the developer: You have buttons on the bottom of the app, and I had no idea what these did before. You should light up what note is being tuned. For example. If I’m playing a Bb. The button labeled “Bb” should light up. This would make the buttons’ purpose seem more apparent. This would also make it more ‘visually appealing’, so to speak.

Great tuner!. Works just as well as a regular tuner. I especially like how you can see just how far off your tone is and that you can set different sensitivities!

Best Acoustic Guitar Tuner. I've played an acoustic guitar for 40 years. This is the most accurate tuner I've ever used. With your guitar in position to play, you can lay your phone on top/side of the guitar and use it hands free as a tuner.

Keep it simple & small. Easy to use. Clear, uncluttered visual feedback. Minimal storage space. Free. Only request would be the option of “latching” the tone buttons to free up both hands when tuning by ear.

Ease of use. This app is simple to understand and can be used soon after you first open it The use of it in intuitive.

Great job on difficult task. I use the app to help me tune antique reed organs. The scrolling time line is very useful In diagnosing problems as well as tuning. These instruments are tuned in many pitches. The app makes that adjustment. Some small problems in the very base ranges
