Can't be used offline.. It says that the map can be used without wifi but that's not true. If I don't have wifi, I can't do anything within the app including the search, map, services, etc.

Forgot to mention the mandatory sign up. Another "free" app that delivers a gateway to spam in addition to service.

Problem. The app continue to crash many time after login please fix it

Awesome App!. This is really a great app! I know people from heaps of different Unis who have made themselves familiar with it. Great for first year students! A good way to familiarize oneself with their Uni. Good work guys!

Keeps crashing and message function spams. Very useful except the messaging function makes you spam the people you’re talking to. Photos don’t upload properly and there’s no “sold” button after books have been sold. Needs work.

Love the concept but a few ideas/improvements!. Great concept, but I can’t find my campus - Box Hill Institute, as an option. Please make Box Hill one of the campuses available! Thanks!

Has not been working for a month. I downloaded it, used it for two weeks and by the third I can’t press into the search bar. It’s frozen and others are going through the same thing! Haiz

Bug fix. Helpful but when downloading the app there is an issue with verification. It constantly tell you there is an error and you have to get out of the app multiple times until it actually accepts your email verification. This has happened to me and two other people.

the worst. How is this the number one app for uni students? Actually the worst for user interface. Means well and could be helpful if it wasn’t so clunky to navigate.

Needs update to include all universities. The concept of the app is good, however it makes it hard to make use of the app if it doesn’t support all universities such as ACU Melbourne campus. Frequent updates needed to improve the app, such as maps and how the app is designed.

No more updates?. Just returned to app to sell my textbooks and the app seems to have not been updated for over 2 years according to the App Store. No wonder some stuff in there don’t work properly anymore. Tbf couple other things still work alright. All in all, the app was so much better 4+ years ago. Quite sad to see that it’s been left to this sorry state. 😔 Maybe try the website version instead of the app. Dunno if it would make any improvements neither, but it’s probably worth a shot. Update: Yeah, tried the web yesterday and it’s heaps better than the app in terms of functionality and smoother user interaction. They need to fix and rescue the app ASAP so students can actually use it on the go, and not have to go long-winded on browser.

Freezes too much. It was once a very useful app and worked functionally. Now it just freezes constantly. Very hard to navigate when it doesn’t work to its full potential. Hoping they will update and fix the issues.

Disappointed. If I could give no stars I would. I can’t even access the app because it won’t allow me to verify it in my email.

Unstable and abandoned. The app used to be good, but now it consistently crashes after clicking into building details and exiting. The bug was reported months ago, but the app seems like abandonware and hasn’t been updated in ages.

App keeps freezing. This has been happening for a while. When I open the app, it freezes and I can’t click anything. Then when I exit, and open again it works for a short while before freezing again. Didn’t have these issues before

Better off without. Freezes every 3 seconds and points to the wrong direction when navigating

Unusable with Wrong Information for Deakin Burwood. Don’t bother. Can’t search rooms as per Deakin’s apparent room naming convention. Incorrect cafe information. Laborious sign up process. Absolutely useless.

Crashes constantly and no directions. Great in theory. But crashes nearly every time I search a location and when it doesn’t crash it only gives a straight line for directions. Much work needed.

Buggy. Login flow is extremely buggy, and won’t even let me enter the app at one point 😞

Doesn't work on Mac. Downloaded on my M1 Mac, tried to login cannot, tried to create an account cannot. It seems lthat the app cannot connect to the server hence not allowing me to "download campus".

Sell users’ information. After register this app, my uni email keep receiving Chinese scam saying they can help me cheat exams. And this is the only app I use my uni email to register. So they definitely sell my information. Don’t use it.

App is become outdated! DEVS PLEASE UPDATE. The all was good a few years ago, and even my University provided it to us as a useful tool. Now half the buildings have changed, new ones have been built and everything, yet the app hasn’t been updated to match those details. Why? People could utilise the app and without consistent updates it’s become unusable. I also find that like others in these reviews the app freezes sometimes. I hope that the developers read this and update what use to be a good app to use for new uni students. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

Requires Facebook or login.. Needs you to login via Facebook or account. Why? So you can track me all over campus, home, work, life etc? No thanks.

Pretty ordinary. Shows you buildings, etc., and your location but when you want to get from a to b, it just draws a straight line from a to b - doesn’t map the route you need to take along paths and roads like google or apple maps do. A geospatially-challenged person like me needs a turn-by-turn route to follow, not a line that goes through the middle of buildings. Finding it hard to use.

Unable to use. App freezes when I open it

Useful when it works. I’ve found this heaps useful while at uni, when it works. Firstly, some information for places on campus are getting outdated and I’m not sure who is responsible for updating places and photos etc. The biggest let down though is the constant freezing. If I actually got lost on campus I wouldn’t bother with using the app, it freezes whenever I actually need it and it’d be quicker for me to work it out myself.

Helpful app but stuck in portrait mode. This app is helpful but it is always stuck in portrait mode making it almost impossible to use on iPad. Being able to use it in landscape mode would be great.

app not working properly. i am still lost on campus after using this app

Used to be much better. Used to use this app all the time as a new student, very handy and simple map. Recently every time I tried to use the app it crashes, I deleted it and reinstalled it and it now forced me to make an account for lost on campus (which it never used to before) and now won't allow me to log in even though I've verified my email several times. If you can get it to work and get past the hoops at the start it's a handy app, however if you're just looking for a simple map app without the extra details and promo material you don't need this isn't it.

It’s no apple or google maps. But for uni stuff, works well.

Not so good for some. This app is great... If you're studying at the major universities like Maquarie, Sydney Uni and UTS. But, if you're studying at some of the smaller Unis like ACU, UWS and Charles Sturt, it's absolutely no help at all. A fair number of the campuses haven't been mapped which isn't any help at all. And these ones that haven't been mapped, often the locator won't show you in the right place. If you select, for example, Maquarie as a map you'd like to see, it looks exactly as you'd expect it to: buildings outlined and name, pin drops for places of interest, the works. But if, for example, afterwards you choose to look at ACU North Sydney, the map pops up in the right place at first, then drags you back to the last fully mapped campus you looked at. So then you can't even at least see the surrounding streets. You're stuck looking at this other uni. Really, it's a great app for those studying at the larger institutions, but the rest of us are left helpless.

It’s ok. I think the fact that you can only change your home campus once every 24hr is not very helpful for people that have two different campuses to go to. Not to mention one of the ones I need info on is not supported by lost on campus ? What’s the point.

USC Sippy Downs. As the usc Sippy Downs campus map isn’t on here or I can’t find it. Not very good. But I do love the concept. I was able to access the Sippy Downs campus amp about 6 months ago and now it’s gone again..... need a different app..

Constant lag. Lags every single time I use the app. Unusable.

Needs an update. Great if you’re learning your way around campus however: 1. If you are not on campus and trying to work out your routes before semester starts it will automatically zoom in on your location and tell you how far away the room you are searching for is. I know where I am, I don’t need to know that the particular classroom I’m searching for is 7.3km away as the crow flies. 2. Mixed with above point - will only give straight line directions. 3. Don’t swipe away to another app on your phone as the app will then freeze when you come back to it, causing you to need to restart the app.

so buggy. I just finished my second year at university and I don’t think I’ve used this app once without it freezing. So incredibly buggy. Helpful to find classes and plan where to park but oh my god can you make it not freeze every minute please.

Verification email not sending. Says that it’s sent an email with a verification link to log in but I never receive anything. I’ve tried three different emails...

Doesn't work. Used to use it all the time but recent updates have actually made it completely useless. I select my campus from the list, it resets it to 'null' and tells me to choose a campus before it can continue. Doesn't matter which campus or university I select, it will reset it to 'null' every time and refuse to continue. Additionally, it now wants a bunch of information before it allows access to the app, including personal details, irrelevant study details (what year did you start? What's your major?), your email address, and you have to sign up. I just want an easy-access map of my campus. I recommend other users don't bother with this app and look elsewhere.

App freeze. App always freezes

Needs improvement but still good. The app is good but it needs work. It’ll tell me how far away my class is but it won’t actually tell me how to get to the class or even what’s the quickest route which is kinda frustrating. Wish it gave you directions that’d be so useful!

freezing. every time i leave the app (even just sliding up) the app freezes and you have to close the entire thing to be able to get it to unfreeze. so annoying when you have to double check the number to a building/room and leave the app and it just freezes when you come back lol

Cant sign up or log in. Whenever I try to log in with Facebook, it reports a server error. When I log in with email, i cannot list my area of study. So i signed up on studentvip and it didn't allow me to log in. Please let me know when you fix this
