Great learning tool!!!. I have purchased several of the Nemo language apps. They are great for listening to while driving or on the plane ride to a foreign country. I highly recommend !!

^_^. If there is a fault it probably lies with me! I like this app... I use it on long drives to help as well. Keeps from having to change the radio because of static. And then my head can swim with words!

Pretty good app, one suggestion. My suggestion is for the apps ability to give you the words of the accumulative days you've used altogether in a loop. I not sure if I'm making sense, but I've used the words of the day for the last 5 days. I would love to listen and respond in a loop all 5 of those days instead of selecting each of those days. I hope this suggestion makes sense. 😀

Purchasing the additional items is a ripoff. After downloading this app, and trying it out, I was initially so pleased with it that I decided to unlock the remaining chapters by purchasing the complete app for $9.99. Unfortunately, this is a waste of money and time as this does not add anything more to what is already offered.

Love this app. I really like the fact that you have the options to change speed and tiles etc... Everyone learns at their own pace and this makes it easy for all people’s trying to learn Russian.

Helpful and easy to use. I started using the app about a week ago, and I am already able to say normal things to my Russian coworkers, such as thank you, hi, you're welcome, bye, good morning, etc. The app dives into essential vocabulary and speaks the words in both English and Russian, making it easy to remember. I like that I can hit Play and repeat as much as I want. I gave it a 4 star rating though, because some of the words are incorrect (for example, in English, St. Petersburg is pronounced "Street Petersburg") and the initial Russian words given are too formal to be used in everyday conversation. I got some funny looks when I greeted my coworkers with hello, which, with the Russian word I used, was the equivalent of saying, "Good day to you!" It would have been better to learn to say "Hi" first. But overall it is a good app and I'm learning Russian.

THIS APP HAS HELPED ME SO MUCH. I've been spending a lot of time with my uncle lately, and his mother in law is Russian. Every time I see her, we can not communicate very well because I speak English, and she speaks Russian. I downloaded this app to learn simple words like hello, goodbye, your welcome, thank you, etc. I have not been back to his house since starting this app, but will be in a few weeks. I know way more than I expected to learn in such little time. This app has made it so much easier for me to memorize words and phrases. I highly recommend.

Take Me to Moscow!. What a clever app! I've been using it daily for a month and am really impressed with it. There are 8 different features to help you learn Russian words & phrases. You can use the record feature, the repeat feature ( repeats the word/ phrase 8 times), the ' flash card' feature, etc. I recommend this app.

Worth it! Works great. No bugs.. I am pleasantly surprised by the app's ease of use. If you want to learn Russian or dust off your skills, you'll be happy with this purchase. I highly recommend it! I also use Duolingo to learn languages, but I prefer this app's vocabulary experience. Great app! My suggestions for the developers include a) modernizing the UX/UI, b) adding a section on grammar (possibly sentences where the student must fill in the blank for word endings), and c) allow the student to take a placement test when they first sign into the app as well as along the way to ensure the lessons are consistent with their level of comprehension.

An Excellent Memorization & Review Course. When used everyday, it is easy to learn many basic words through memorization and repetition. This has been very beneficial for me to learn Russian words and to be able to speak Russian to my Russian friends at Church and in Eastern Europe.

Love this app. I’ve tried various apps. This one takes the cake. I find myself spending more and more time with this app than any other. It has a great layout. And it don’t pressure you to buy more every time you get a new word.

Not working well on iOS 12. Used to be my favorite app. I upgraded phones and lost all of my progress on active words. plus , now it won't add words automatically.

Great app. I really like this app so far. I like all the different options there are for ways to learn. Would be nice if there was an option for writing in answers, and then it checks your translation. It doesn't teach you the Russian-Cyrillic alphabet so it would probably would be helpful if u learned that elsewhere first. Overall, I think it's a very helpful tool for learning.

Mama Masha. In general, great app. I would like to see it a little easier to navigate and notice that some of the English pronunciations appear to be off.

Daniel. Honestly, I just started using the application today. My initial impression is that the second word in English-St. Petersburg, is read aloud as "Street Petersburg." I can see how this sort of thing may undermine the intentions of the app creators. Try some editing.

I needed that. The daily reminder is a good thing. Getting so busy throughout the day, easily forgotten are the little joys.

Awesome!!. Within 20 minutes I could speak a couple words in Russian, faithfully. Other languages are awesome as well on this app. In my spare time I learned some hebrew and in a month I’m here right now in Israel getting by speaking it. You can do this app while driving the car, doing dishes, whatever. It’s great buy it!! Also it’s like a little cheat sheet when you’re talking in the language with the dictionary.

One of the best language apps. Russian by Nemo must be great for brushing up on the language, but it's also good for people like me who have never been to the country or even had a Russian class. In fact, most of my Russian vocabulary came from having read A Clockwork Orange several times. I especially like that you can study English to Russian or Russian to English and that it's easy to save favorite words and phrases.

Great when driving. I get to spend over an hour every day whilst driving learning words. Love it.

Amazing!. I have never rated an app on the App Store, but this one I must! Amazing app! I was scared to learn Russian because of the difficulty of the language, but Nemo Russian has made it so easy. 10/10 would recommend.

amazing, but one thing.. Okay I got this app excepting absolute garbage and when I opened the app I could already learn like 100 Russian words! But, I needed and still need to pay for the full version. It’s kinda sad that people need to pay but they need it because it’s a free app. Thanks for the 100 words though.

Amazing progress. If you would have told me a week ago that I would be understanding and writing some Cyrillic and knowing 50 words and phrases in Russian, I would have thought you were crazy. But this app is amazing. It has encouraged me to immerse myself in it, and I have been having a lot of fun. I recommend supplementing with the book "Russian for Dummies." Very helpful.

Awesome App. I’ve learned so much Russian from this App. I’m not quite conversational but I’ve learned a ton of words and phrases. I highly suggest this app. For beginners. The only thing I would recommend to make this app better is for there to be regular updates with the addition of new words and phrases.

Awesome Verbal Flash Cards. I live this app and the way it keeps repeating and adding new words!

I really like it. I really enjoy this app. It's just that I wish it had quizzes or something to test my skills in more of a school-like way.

Useful for many environments. I love this app because of the versatility. It gives the user different options to have the app speak the words and answers in ways that tailor best to the listener. The app will play the track whether in/out of the app and even while the phone is in sleep mode. Car, office, home, a walk, any environment really, this app will help solidify sub-cognitive recognition.

Really good app!!!. So I’ve used this app everyday for about 1.5 years. I’ve learned all 1200 words they offered, but the only problem is they don’t offer more words! I hope that they do soon because this app is amazing. It’s increased my vocabulary with simple words and phrases that I can understand quickly. I’m able to read, write, and speak in Russian now. I’m from California and my native language of course is English. Anyway make more words please!!

Very good app. This app offers a variety of methods for learning the language. One of my favorite features will say the word you are learning ten times to ease memorization. Best app I have seen of its type.

A fellow learner. This app is great, it can be played when you sleep, and it helps you learn basic words. The only disappointing thing is that you have to pay to learn more words.

Great app! NEEDS MORE WORDS!. To the designers: PLEASE PLEASE ADD MORE WORDS!!!! sorry about the all caps. This is a great beginners app and I say this after memorizing half the word bank (I know 650 words and it took me 4 months). Don't look any further, just download and buy this app. I have been supplementing it with grammar books and it seems that I will reach B1 by this time next year.

I love it!. I downloaded four apps to learn Russian (with no experience) and this is the one I use every night. I started with 5 words and every day it adds 5 more while reviewing the previous word list. The program then builds on to the words I've already learned (like its starting to make sentences that actually make sense). Very well done. It's so easy to use.

Learn at your speed.. The option to adjust the speed of new words is great learn at your own speed I have used this for a month and love it so for only thing I would like to see is an option to switch announcer positions English then Russian and Russian then English.

Great for learning vocabulary. I really like this app. I used the polish version first before going to Warsaw and just used it constantly. When I got there I could actually communicate and understand what was going on. No regrets for buying the full version here. Thanks Nemo!

Excellent Resource. This is an amazing app- it cycles new words perfectly and makes it easy to improve your accent. I highly recommend it as great resource for learning Russian. I have learned a lot with this app and it makes the language easy to learn.

Amazing app. This app is great! I have learned so much vocabulary (which is what I struggle with the most) in so little time. My one suggestion would be to add the ability to study grammar, but other than that I recommend this app to anyone who wants to learn a language.

Single flash card at a time is better. I fixed the problem I had by uninstalling and reinstalling. I love this app but I liked the single flash card at a time much better.

Pretty Good. It repeats the words often and has lots of settings. Great for learning to read and speak Russian.

One suggestion. Multiple voices (at least one of each gender) would help to really absorb the subtleties and nuances of the words. The one speaker occasionally slurs syllables together, which may very well be the exact way a native speaker would pronounce the word; but it would be helpful to be able to hear the word(s) from alternate speakers.

Russia App. Great for learning Russia

Great, but needs some setup. First off this app is fantastic. Never crashes and it's well designed and easy to use even on the go. The only downside is that if you are completely new to Russian, you really need to turn down the learning speed and start with fewer words until you get the hang of it. Great supplement to learn!. This app is well done! It has all the important categories for basic communication. It's well organized and easy to use. I use it to learn and review throughout the day- and there is plenty of content to learn. The native speaker recordings are great. I only wish there was an option for a slow playback too. Of course, if you really want to learn the details of the language, such as pronunciation rules, you'll need additional study materials. I didn't find the Roman alphabet approximations of words all that useful, fortunately you can just turn them off. I'm very happy I purchased the full version. Спасибо Nemo!

Amazing app. I loved this app. I was disappointed though that you only get a certain amount of learning(roughly 1-2 months of learning) before you have to pay for the full version. Other than that it super easy to use and really user friendly. Unfortunately I don't want to spend 10.00 for the full version so I will be downloading a rival app.

good but one problem. after a day of two when looking back at the words i studied under "words for today" everything before the current date would show "this list is empty" this has been a problem for all of my nemo language apps
