Not worth the supposed savings. Downloaded the app. Bank info put in to get that savings and easy to pay at the pump. A few weeks and fill ups later, I have bill collectors after me treating me like a criminal accusing me of stealing fuel. Somehow Dino app and folks on their end linked another account with a bank I. A completely different state from where I live and demanding payment. Their bill collecting sharks hung up on me three times cause all they wanted was payment. No one cared that the information they gave me was NOT MINE. Just demanding money. My biggest regret was downloading the app and all the grief. Their management has not resolved this yet and I still have not received a call back from customer support. Still not resolved. In the Sinclair stores, staff do not know how to use or know anything about the app. Complete and utter incompetence and lack of care. Please re think if you are going to download this app. I do not recommend.

Love DinoPay. I live in Coachella Valley, and believe it or not. Sinclair has the best prices out of all the cities so I’m very happy that I live in Indio and the Sinclair that I go to is just like four minutes away has the best prices has a lot of gas pumps. They even have racing fuel and this app super easy to use so now every time I go to the pump, I save money each time I pump gas and believe it or not the savings add up and a little bonus I like dinosaurs ever since I was a kid so it’s a nice view to see a dinosaur every time I go. Thank you, Sinclair. You’re the best and so is your DINOPAY app. I should say instead of keep on trucking keep on pumping.

Wonderful. I’ve always preferred Sinclair fuel to other gas stations but now the fact that I don’t have to run my card at the pump helps me feel even more secure in this decision. While also saving 10 cents a gallon! Whoot whoot! I’m all for saving money. I also love that you can search for Sinclair gas stations on the app which is really helpful on road trips! I highly recommend you use this app if you love Sinclair you won’t regret it.

Dino pay app. I spent time downloading and setting up Dino Pay because you stopped applying the discount at the pump using the Dino Green Card. Tried to use the app on three different pumps and I kept getting there was a server connection error. Even after closing the app completely and then reopening it and signing back in. Ended up just using our Sinclair Green Card to get gas because there was a line of cars waiting to get gas. Worse experience ever.

Going Downhill. I’ve started having issues with the app. Now that gas prices are ridiculous, the app has not been allowing my 10 cents for using the app go through. A little black bar appears saying loyalty not available. The only way to contact someone is by email. When you’re at the pump, and it’s not working, you need to be able to call someone to troubleshoot it. I left today without gas because of this. I emailed them about 45 min ago and no response yet. If you’re going to claim you get 15 cents off for using your card and the app, it needs to work or someone needs to be available to speak with when it doesn’t. This problem has started happening frequently.

App changes make it difficult. App must have been “upgraded” but now it’s more difficult to use. You have to have your phone in-hand and choose which grade of gas before it will let you authorize the pump. In the past I could authorize the pump & put the phone down before getting out to pump gas. Left hand holding phone. Right hand unscrewing the gas cap. Right hand pushing the grade of fuel, then authorizing the pump on the phone. What to do with the phone if you don’t have a pocket? Hold it! While you put the nozzle on and try to flip the little switch so the gas will hold by itself. Try it one-handed! Then fix the stupid app!!!

Not Enough Duscount. Prior to Dino, with the credit card you got a $.10 discount. Now you get a $.20 discount but Sinclair has use of the money for the balance of the month that it wouldn’t have with the credit card. it’s hardly a discount when you have the use of the money. The only good thing I could say is that Sinclair has the lowest prices in my area to start with so any discount is welcome, but does it buy loyalty?no

Not Always Available. Perhaps it’s my location and poor Internet service. A few times the app doesn’t work or provide me with the ability to pay. I tapped on location. We were right in front of the pump and couldn’t call up the pay at pump or pay inside. While I was still trying to locate the station, my husband filled up the car while DINOPAY was still trying to open. When he was halfway through the fill up, after pressing more buttons, the app started working. Too late to use the app, though. Several times I wanted to use the app, I had to reload the app and provide all my information again. It works most of the time. It’s irritating that it’s not ready when I want to use the app.

Not bad but could be better. I hate how sometimes the app glitches and won’t let me do a transaction so I have ti try a couple times and end up saying that I have ti many requests to pump gas and I have to wait 24 hours when I need the gas at the moment not in 24 hours usually when this happens I have to drive to a different gas station chevron or 76 the app needs to be fixed also the to many requests shouldn’t be a thing as long as you paying why do you care how many times a day I pump gas

Feeling Cheated By Sinclair App Change. I used to get $.10 off each gallon and it was on the Sinclair/cash side. Now they’re running a discount off of the right side price , which says credit card. Instead of getting $.10 off each gallon (which by the way went down to $.05 off a gallon), I’m now paying 15 more cents a gallon than I was originally paying. The only way I can really save is by getting the Sinclair credit card. I’ll check into this, but if there’s a card fee, I’ll pass.

Mobile Advantage doesn’t work. I thought this would be a good app. Boy, was I wrong! Mobile Advantage has worked exactly twice. Every time I try to use it as my preferred payment method, I get an error that it couldn’t be used and to try a different payment method. That happens locally and out of town. The two times it worked, I saved 40 cents a gallon. Great. Every time I had to use a different payment, which has been the majority of the time, I got 10 cents off. The Walmart down the street is consistently 30 cents a gallon cheaper than anyplace else in town without the hassle. From now on, when I get the error and have to use a different payment method, I will also be using a different station (Walmart). If I get the error two more times, I will be deleting the app.

WORST FUEL APP (VERY BUGGY). I set it up EXACTLY as their video instructed, but every time I try to use it at the pump, it always says there’s some kind of error. This last time was when I entered the pump number. It wouldn’t even allow me to put in my real birthdate during set-up. It only accepts today’s date in the year 2008. There are multiple bugs, and after three attempts to maneuver through them, it makes you wait 24 hours to try fueling again. I even tried setting up a new account, but this thing just never works, no matter what. I’m done trying, because it shouldn’t be this difficult. I’m not a stupid person, and all other fuel apps work fine for me. This is an app problem, not my own error. I gave it all the patience I could muster, but now I’m off to be a Chevron customer… Byeeeee!

I LOVE SINCLAIR...❤️⭐️. I would like to say Thanks a lot to the man who is working @ the Sinclair Pico Blvd. Santa Monica and his name is "WAGNER" . He is very nice, very helpful employee, and very cool man as an employees of this location he has a very good heart and He offered some helping me to put my gas on my car and he help me to put some Air with my 4tires... I was very amazed and feel touch and feel appreciated the help that he did to my car... I never seen an employees like him ever before that who has a good heart and kindness attitude to the customer like him... Hipefully I can see him again to thank him enough helping me w/ my car even in a little way it's a very big compliment from me like him and his kindness heart...I give him an 👏🏼☺️ the way that he did. He did a very good job...And because of his kindness and he is good with a customer services, I would like to Say Thank You also to my favotite gas station"SINCLAIR"... I love Sinclair a lot because it was very affordable prices compare to a many different gas brand....And also I give a big support and applausr to a "Sinclair"station....👏🏼☺️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I hopesome other location or state have their worker like "WAGNER" who is working here at "SINCLAIR" Pico Blvd. Santa Monica... Dinopay is great, the rest of the app features not so much.. Saving money on fuel by tying your debit card to the app and authorizing the pump without leaving your vehicle is great but the joy of the app ends there. The map shows the cheapest price they offer of any pumped product meaning if a station has DEF that’s the price you’re going to see. You can filter by a specific product to only find stations that offer that product but it will still show you the price of the lowest price product. There’s also no way to filter by only E-85.

Trouble at the pump. If you travel out of Utah the app doesn’t always work. I was in Scottsdale and traveled an extra 20 miles to find a Sinclair station and when I got there, they didn’t take the app and they happened to be a full service station. Instead of saving a little, it cost me an extra $.50 per gallon. When I stopped at Flagstaff, the app said my credit card wouldn’t work on the app and locked the app for 24 hours. That’s great when you are traveling. My credit card worked just fine on the gas. This has happened in Wyoming and in Nevada. Please let’s just go back to the card that always worked.

Bait and switch…. The app functions perfectly fine. However the discount that was originally offered has eroded over time. What used to be a $.20 discount on the lowest cash price at the pump is now a $.10 discount on the highest CC price at the pump. Kind of a bummer. Still a savings, but not as significant as it once was. The language is also confusing, because on the Dino app receipt it shows a $.20 discount, but on the pump it says a $.10 discount. I wish they would just go back to rewarding their patrons, who have committed to their app and are saving them processing fees, with a $.20 discount on their cash/Dino pay price.

Worthleas. This app doesn't do anything. I created a new account, loaded it with the required information and credit card, but when I pulled up to my local Sinclair place that claims it supports DynoPay it doesn't like my credit card. I can take that same credit card and insert it directly into the fuel pump and it accepts it that way, but not through the DynoPay app. I deleted the credit card from the app and re-entered it again from scratch but same result. Plus it had somehow logged me out after my last unsuccessful attempt to use DynoPay at a Sinclair station. So there I was at the pump today, standing outside in the 20 degree weather, fiddling around entering my email and password back into the app. Which as mentioned still didn't accept my credit card when I tried to use it to pay for the fuel. I have since removed my credit card info from the app and have deleted the utterly worthless app from my iPhone.

Great App. I have no clue why so many folks are having issues. I added my payment account in less than a minute. I pay with ease every time. I even paid for a friends gas at home by then telling me the pump #. I don’t know if any other company yet doing this. I am so happy with this because you get $.10 off per gallon each time! I used to use a combination of gas buddy and shell fuel rewards but this gas is much better (top tier). She’ll is good, but only their premium is a top tier gas. Dinocare is in all levels of their gas. Regular (non high end or sports cars) don’t need high octane gas. It’s actually bad for them, so Sinclair giving $.10 off and offering top tier gas at all levels is a win! I’m not saying folks haven’t experienced issues. It may be that I started using it after they fixed them (started late October 2020), but it also could be user error for these folks. I have had zero issues and it’s been super nice for me.

Dino pay Sinclair app. This app was supposed to reduce your cost at the pump by $.20 as long as you download the app and fill out a shared information on your banking. The second part of this seems to be a fraud, because all that does is try to get you to purchase product that you really don’t want and continues to give you phone numbers to call to customer service that does not lead to customer service only to sell product. I am writing this review so that anyone that download this app be aware that they are not forthcoming with helping me reduce what they promised.I am requesting someone reach out to me with a phone number to customer service so far that hasn’t happened and me reading. This app is a minus one.

Device not safe?. What does that even mean? Never had a problem with this app but then a few months ago it kept kicking me out and I had to log in every time. Whatever not a big deal. Now all of a sudden, I assume with the newest update, as soon as I open the app I get a message saying “we detected something indicating your device may not be safe”. I looked online before finally calling a customer service number for their credit card. I asked the lady who answered if she knew what this was and she said I should check with my phone provider. That makes no sense since I don’t have this problem with any other app so I hung up. Guess I won’t be buying Sinclair gas until this is fixed.

Filter for stations is a disaster. If you filter for the seemingly redundant options of DinoPay, Mobile Pay, Pay at the Pump, etc, you can wind up with zero results, even though there will be many stations in the search area that match those criteria. For example, an unfiltered list of stations in an area will mark all the stations as "Mobile Payments." If you use the filter choice "Mobile Payment," it will show zero results. The dozens of filter choices aren't alphabetized or in any sort of order, but in a disastrous jumble.

Bye Bye “Gas Buddy”. Downloaded and was able to fuel with Debit card in 60 seconds. I have been using Gas Buddy forever with ¢.05 savings, used to be .04 for the longest, not anymore. Saw the advertisement above the fuel pump, stopped mid fuel up, and downloaded app. Before I started even pumping it changed the price by ¢.10 as promised. I would have saved $3.00 if I’d noticed before I started but still saved $1.60. Thank you!! Will continue using from now on!

Horribly inconvenient. My experience with this app is so bad that it makes me reconsider even shopping at this gas station. I had to logon multiple times to get gas. The new version app will not allow you to stay logged in, but must login each time you select it. Then I had to login again in order to select to pay at the pump. Then it asked for a pin number, which I have never created, and it tried to log me on again. I logged on again, but it would not let me pay. I had to sign out completely and back in again to find a place to create a pin number. Then I had to sign on again to select to pay at the pump. Then I had to log on again with my pin number. Absolutely ridiculous.

This really is awesome!. I actually stumbled upon this getting gas one day. My thoughts were “yeah right” but tried it for the heck of it for the discount they offered in the spot. We’ll it truly is the greatest thing I’ve ever come across as far as getting gas goes! That’s a rather short list but anyway… I fire up the app on my way to the store, log into the pump as I’m pulling in, and I am out three minutes later with a receipt in my email. And to top it all off I get a discount. I don’t typically do reviews, but I had to definitely give this a shout out, because it really is quick and easy app do use, and a great deal on the gas. It allows me to be able to afford ethanol free gas for my car, which makes it run a lot better. So far I have had no “upgrade” requests so I like that as well. It is just a great deal and ultra easy to use.

The Preferred Payment fails on the app. I will be only paying directly with the merchant going forward. This app has glitches and there’s no other place to report the issue except in this commentary review. The third-party payment processor and the Dino pay app does not have any recourse when there is a software glitch. The software glitch is that I selected my debit card as a preferred payment and said that use the mobile app payment and that account was no longer active. When signing up for the app it appears you must leak a bank account in order to use it this is not accurate. In addition I cannot submit a support ticket to bring this issue to the programmers. With the best gas prices in town I still plan to buy the gas however I would never use this app again.

Sinclair is my gas station. I am so pleased with this app. Not only is it economical, it is super convenient. 10 to 20 cents on a dollar is precious to the gas prices today. Now we live in a world of convenience. Getting gas is as simple as opening the app, select your pump, select authorize payment and BAM! You’re ready to start fuel which is also indicated by a big water drop. Once you return the pump your phone is automatically updated with a receipt on your phone which you can keep for your records. I will drive all the way across town to get to my Sinclair.

Great Customer Service. The app is great but when I do have issues, like I got a new phone but didn’t update my phone number or something, I emailed customer service and they responded quick and fixed the issue I had asap, I have reached out a couple different times and each time they were able to help resolve my issues with login issues and mobile advantage updates and they would respond within 24 hours and I was able to keep doing what I was needing to do!

Frustrating. I tried to use the app today to fill up and take advantage of some in-app coupons for fuel savings. At the gas station, I had to use a couple different pumps, because the first pump would not work. Not the app’s fault, I know. However, when I went to a second pump, the coupons in the app didn’t stay clipped for me, and I didn’t realize that until I started filling up. When I cancelled the transaction to try to start over with the coupons clipped, I received an app message that told me that I have tried to use the app for fuel purchases too many times in a 24-period and to try again tomorrow. Super not helpful when the coupons are only good for today. So, I’m frustrated with this app, and I don’t know if I’ll be using it again.

It WAS a good app.... This Sinclair app was wonderful. You could pull up to the pump and quickly authorize the pump, it was intuitive easy and slick. The only thing I didn’t like about it was every once in while you would have to put in your user ID and password rather than Face ID. But just a couple weeks ago they changed the app to add advertisements and now it is torture. I’ve literally sat here for three minutes trying to figure out the stupid app to get the gas to pump. They had to put advertising on it so you could buy a bunch of crap on the card. Sinclair, make the app intuitive again. Make it easy to see without glasses. Put it back to the way it was-Blah!

Rarely Works. I downloaded and setup this app a couple of months ago and it has worked exactly twice. I usually get an error saying there is an issue processing my card. I have it linked directly to my bank account, no card involved, and I am 100% sure I have sufficient funds available. Basically I go to a Sinclair gas station thinking I’m going to save $0.20 a gallon but end up paying full price which is generally a little higher than area competitors. Instead of saving money, I’ve managed to spend $0.05 more per gallon than if I went elsewhere.

No discount. I filled up and was supposed to get the app discount and a mobile pay discount. I got neither. Same price at the pump. I would’ve been better using my own credit card, at least I would’ve gotten some discount from it. I tap the customer support link only to see that that page is not active. I contacted them another way and left a message never to have it returned. I even tapped the link on this app site, just below the link where I make this review. The link doesn’t work, just like the rest of the app. I highly recommend using the Phillips 66 app instead I’ve never had a problem with it and the discount is bigger.

Saving money is cool. Consistently saving 20 cents a gallon and they’re the cheapest premium in town…not sure why lellle are having problems, but it’s pretty cool actually. You can reserve/start paying while sitting in the seat, and once you get out and to the pump it’s discounted the fuel and is ready to go no more swiping and zip code/PIN number and wondering if there’s a “swiper” on the machine stealing your info. I had a nice stranger tell me about it, and will pass the word too

Inaccurate stations and prices. Watched the videos, put in my payment card no problem. However, in my hometown, where I know we have two stations, it only shows one. On my I 5 drive, only showed one station at Buttonwillow, the notoriously expensive one, and listed a price. We arrived to find the price was actually .90 higher. Went over to the cheaper station, but the app didn’t recognize the station so I couldn’t use the app to pay. Not sure how one would use the Sinclair card/app when it won’t show the station. Have deleted the app. Perhaps stations have to pay to be listed?

Love this App. I have really loved the convenience of this app and the additional savings it offers when I can use it. I only gave it four out of five stars because several times I have tried to use it and it would not work. A couple times I needed to fill up several cars or boats on the same day and it wouldn’t let me do more than one or two transactions. I would’ve loved to use it for all of my gas needs instead of just part of it.

Great....when it works about 1% of the time. This app is the most frustrating app I’ve used. It is an excellent idea if only it would work. The few times that it did work I didn’t get the discount. The many times it did not work was “opps something when wrong” error. Standing next to the gas pump, “your too far from gas station”; goto another Sinclair , still thinks I’m at the other gas station. Prior to this it cleared all my information... name, credit card, etc. re-entered everything and then as soon as I entered the bank card I get a fraud notification from the bank and it says your account it locked. It is one problem after another with this app. Once again great idea I’d only it worked.

Don’t “fix” what isn’t broken. App used to be great. Quick, simple, and easy to use and no problems whatsoever. The new app, however, is terrible. All kinds of issues and hassles now to the point that it’s not even worth using anymore most of the time. I used to seek out Sinclair stations so I could use the app and save a little money. But what’s the point now that the new version of the app doesn’t even work half the time? It’s slower, more tedious, buggy, constantly wanting you to sign back in, and today it even locked me out and said something along the lines of “you’ve tried to get gas too many times now…please try again in 24 hours” …what a joke. The app was great how it was and you guys literally ruined it and are now costing yourselves business. Why?

Abysmal. Why they ever thought it was a good idea to go full app with no cards allowed, I will never understand. You are completely at the mercy of good cell phone coverage to be able to use Dino pay. And, it took months for the Sinclair closest to my house to get online, so I was having to pay a higher price until they would show up on the app. And the last time I went to use it, the app had signed me out and when I signed back in, I had to create a new password. That alone took over five minutes sitting in my car trying to remember what email I used and my password, when all I wanted to do was swipe a card and pay for my gas. Sinclair will no longer be my regular gas station even though there are two right by my house. I will only use it if I’m on the road and absolutely have to. I’m going to go back to using Costco.

Nice for convenience, but. This app would be a five star due to the convenience at the pump. The biggest concern is that it always seems to log you out and you have to go through the login process if you haven’t used it for a while. This can be very frustrating if the weather is cold or hot outside you just wanna pump the gas and go. You got a fumble around with the app trying to remember what your password was because it logged you out even though you never asked to.

Seriously 25 gallon limit on DIESEL?!?!. I would really like the name of the individual that thought it would be a good idea to put a 25 gallon limit on the app for diesel! Then I would like to know the name of the individual that said yeah that is a great idea! Let’s make buying Diesel at all of our stations extremely difficult for all the hard-working men and women that drive Diesel vehicles! This is a perfect example of how corporate individuals loose touch with the working class individual. If this is how it’s going to stay then my company will no longer be using the app to buy fuel. We will go somewhere else and my guess is a lot of other companies will do this thing…

Mobile advantage a HUGE disadvantage!!. While I love to save a few $$ on gas, and enjoy utilizing the mobile advantage app. It has become a huge disappointment. I travel for work, and find that there are some days I may need to fill my tank more that 1x or 2x, sometimes 3x and most certainly more then 1x within the 1-5 day waiting window for my previous purchase to “clear the account” which it ALREADY had/has the very next day. It would be a blessing to have this feature meet up with the times and move in the future and become a rapid system like Maverik does!! I’d like to use the mobile advantage app to my advantage and save the money that I’ve signed up for MORE than 1x every 5days!

The phone App. I don’t know what planet the guy was on when he invented the Sinclair App. The FAQs will tell you that you can use the Sinclair green card in it . It even gives directions on how to enter the card . But none of the instructions work on my App. Especially when I get to the. Settings icon . I can only enter a bank credit card or a direct debit to a checking account. It invites me to APPLY for a green card but obviously disregards the fact that my card is valid until 2026. I may suppose that Sinclair cancelled my card without my permission or knowledge. Nice work to the pin head developing the App. Just another example of fault I am sitting in Las Vegas NV and when I ask for the location of Sinclair stations it replies there are NON AVAILABLE. Yet I know there’s one on Rainbow and one on Jones and half a dozen on Cheyenne. Too bad there’s No ZERO stars on the review page

It’d be great if it ever actually worked. I love Sinclair and the prices but the amount of time spent into having this app make me enter all my information, pretend it loads and say something isn’t working. It does not matter how much data or WiFi strength I have. I can’t give this a zero so I have to give it a one. I’d be more than happy to write a good review if it ever finally worked, or if I were to be reimbursed for all the times they claimed I could save money and couldn’t.

New App. I LOVE the substantial discount you give for gas & I search out Sinclair stations wherever I go & I travel frequently. I get 10-20 cent discounts out of town & its worth it! That was before the new app was forced on me. I haven’t been able to use the app for 3 weeks now and paid for gas with cash. I FINALLY got it to work today after calls to Mobile Advantage & appeals to the girl inside the Stinkers store & my son who is an IT guy. He is 38 years old (young & computer savvy). Even he said the new app is not intuitive. So there ya go. I hope the new app works for you all at Sinclair b/c it certainly has been a challenge for your customers.

App SHOULD tie into account on line. After 20 minutes I gave up. My card works fine but the iPhone app does not. Know about my card. Why is that? Why can’t I open the app, sign in, and purchase using the information you already have for the Sinclair card. These two should be tied together. I have idea how to enter the uncommon spacing of the numbers on the card. You need to take some lessons from Apple about how to make things user-friendly. Tie the app to the existing account & inform users trying to make your app work that it is NOT sync’d with the online account. I could not be more disappointed

Poor reliability. I like the convenience of this application. The Dino application is not yet reliable. On my journey to Utah and back over a five-day period I was able to successfully use the Dino application to pay at the pump only twice. Also, after trying to pay in Idaho today, the application locked me out, without a warning. That is because I had made three unsuccessful attempts within 24 hours. I had intended to use the application several times during my trip. Reluctantly, I purchased gas elsewhere for the majority of the gas. Humm?? my career is in application engineering, and I believe you have more beta testing yet to do.

Terrible results after latest update. I hate that the green card was discontinued. Getting the app linked to my bank account has been frustrating it frequently loses the link and the mobile advantage doesn’t work and I lose out on the discount associated with using it. I end up just going to the another station that has a lower price. I’m a Sinclair employee at one of the refineries and I would like to support the Dino but the benefit I got is no longer available. It’s so hit or miss if this app will work at the pump I tend to go to the maverick more now. Fix the app as I would love to support Dino but the price difference is too much to ignore if I’m not getting the discount through the app

Great when it works. Like all computers and apps, it is great when it works but frustrating when it doesn’t. I stopped for gas last night on a very cold evening and the app wouldn’t open, walked through a bunch of steps, thought it was good to go and my payment method was an old card and the new card I had entered was not in there. So after freezing for 10 to 15 minutes I gave up and just used a credit card and not getting the fuel discount. I open the app today to make sure the payment method is correct and the card it was trying to use last is not listed but the correct one is.

Bring back the prices!. Update 4/2: this app just keeps getting worse and worse!! Now it won’t apply my 15 cent discount for my Sinclair card, and the prices listed are never right! I went into the store and had the ABSOLUTE rudest employee ever who refused to help and said she has never been trained on the app and doesn’t know how to use it, because she doesn’t buy her gas here. That doesn’t even look good, Sinclair!!! Come on now!! You are better than this. The update is horrible!! fix it already Really not happy with the latest update. I liked being able to quickly look at the map and see the prices for gas stations in my area - now I have to click on each one individually to find prices. Very tedious and annoying. Fix the map and I’ll fix this rating!

Wonderful/Best. This is the best thing since sliced bread. I have the Dino credit card as well as the Dino app, I get five cents a gallon for using my credit card and 10 cents a gallon for using the app for a total of 15 cents per gallon savings. Key is’ is too pay off your debt each month and not get hit with interest charges. And since it’s app driven I can authorize the pump when I pull up and it’s ready when I get out. Thanks Dino. They have all of my business now. If not for this i’de likely shop around.

Great App… If it Works!. I downloaded this app early on and really enjoyed it! It was convenient, worked well, and offered savings. Now, for the past many months, it is VERY slow to open and almost useless! I will pull into the local Sinclair station and attempt to open the app. It opens to the landing page and stops. If lucky, the app may open in 5 minutes. I mean, how long is reasonable to wait?! Depending on my situation, I may use a credit card, or, just leave and not fill up. I have deleted and reloaded the app, tried turning it off and on… very frustrating! Needless to say, Sinclair has lost some of my business because of the poor performance of their app.

If I could put 0 stars I would. This app has worked 2 out of the 10 times I have tried to use it. Tried to pay by adding my card directly and just using Apple Pay, it always says there’s an issue then if you try more than 2-3 times it says you can’t even use the app anymore. Kind of a joke. I live in a small town dominated by Sinclair and it’s not the cheapest option without the discount so it’s super annoying and inconvenient when it doesn’t work. 🙂

Super Convenient. This app has made getting gas extremely easy and convenient!! The sign-up process is brief and quick, savings are immediate & the app only needs location (turning location services on loads your location automatically) & pump number. Very user friendly!!

Never Worked. I pulled up to several different Sinclair Gas stations that are supposed to accept mobile pay. No matter how many times I attempted on the app to authorize payment, nothing but a error. I tried multiple times at each station until it told me I attempted too many times try again in a few minutes. I respect the brand and love the lower prices in my area. Don’t like the faulty app. My bank account is already enrolled as well. Fix the app and I will give 5 stars.

Hard to go back. The only problem with this app is that I take for granted being able to pull up and have the pump paid and ready to pump in seconds. It’s ready before I get out of the car.

Software update. I’ve enjoyed the DINOPAY app for years. This morning I arrived to fill my car only to have the app disabled by an overnight update. I looked over at the other customers and saw them also trying to update the app before fueling. In today’s world of online scammers, updates performed in a public space where changes made on phones could be intercepted by anyone nearby is a poor option. I paid full price with a card and went home to update the app. Don’t do this again!

Worst app. I have not been able to use this app yet ! It will not find my location , even though it’s turned on in my phone , keeps taking me to Chicago or Wyoming and will not allow you to do anything on it , even the young Lady at the station Street Corner here in Aberdeen, SD , COULD NOT GET IT TO WORK

The worst!. This has been the worst app!! For the longest time wouldn’t keep me logged in!! Then your update kicked off my bank information and now o have to verify everything even though it’s the same exact bank account for mobile advantage!! Now twice I’ve tried using my credit card and it takes the authorization amount from my card but won’t turn the pump on!!! Most frustrating experience I’ve ever had with an app!!!

Love getting my gas this way!. I always get gas at my local Sinclair Station and try to find a Sinclair wherever I travel. The app makes it so easy to pay at the pump, and I love that I don’t have to get out my bank card each time. (And getting 10 cents off per gallon doesn’t hurt either!)

Very disappointed with main Ave norwalk ct station. This is the third time in July that the app is unable to communicate with the pump!! Tonight I spent over 35 minutes trying to get a signal to communicate with no luck. I drive out of my way to use my Dino pay and I get stuck with no discount 😤there needs to be a better way! Denise

Overcharged. Absolutely horrid app. Do not install and use unless you want to LOSE money. Ever since the update, it has been near impossible to pay through the app with no issues. When my first two payments didn’t authorize, I did it a third time, to which it finally authorized. Only to find out, I was still charged for the other two, when they weren’t authorized, and no gas was taken. I am now in the negatives. Make that make sense please. Awful app.

Really need to get it together. With a line of cars behind you waiting for a pump it’s frustrating to wait for several minutes on “Reserving Pump” only to then get an “error communicating with a server” message. I tried again and got a “you’ve made too many requests to buy gas, try again in 24 hours” message. So I bought a gallon to get me to another gas station that’s the same price. So not only did this app lose a sale from me not working, it also lost whoever was behind me in line and got tired and left too.

Terrible service. Since they change the rules and you pump your own gas, the attendance never come out to assist anybody they stay in there and they talk and people need help out here not to mention the fact that Wood is Subaru. You’ve got to fill on the right side, there’s no pump dedicated for people have right side there should be. I come all the way down here for the last five or six years and it is so difficult to get into a gas pump do something about

Good service. Got there and had to update my app because I hadn’t use it in a long time because of your high prices and Sisters. And I tried to use it the other day in Bend, but that didn’t work because they didn’t know how to update it. But we got it done and I was able to purchase fuel so I thanked him.

Great Savings. It’s a great app, it’s always good to save some money, only one problem the times you can use it in a 24 hrs period are limited, also maybe add all the Sinclair gas station and better training for the gas station people, some of them don’t know how to use it when you want to pay inside.

Security risk DO NOT USE!. Had terrible problem with managing bank accounts. Their whole backend payment processing is ancient and probably insecure. Be careful signing up for Mobile Advantage debit that connects to your bank account: once enrolled, there’s no way to identify which bank account it’s connected to and no easy or obvious way to change it. If it has an old account, they’ll immediately charge you a $40 fee and send you to collections with no warning or notification thanks to their poorly designed application.

20 cents off a gallon!. This is the easiest and most cost efficient app! I just hook the app up to my bank account and when I pay through my phone at the pump it gives me an automatic $.20 off per gallon! With gas prices the way they are, I don’t know why everyone in the world doesn’t use this app!

Hardly ever works. I go out of my way to find a Sinclair with Dino pay to save the money and three times out of 10 it doesn’t work because the host is down, or the cashier doesn’t know what is going on or it just won’t pulling up. Don’t offer a discount if we can’t have it.

Clarksdale, Missouri Sinclair. The Clarksdale, Missouri mobile app function is routinely down and has been down for several weeks. Is there something that could be done about this? I like supporting my local gas station, but if I can get a discount at another Sinclair store, that’s what I do. I have inquired several times at the local station have been sold in the app or Sinclair’s issue but yeah I can drive into town. Use another Sinclair at the.

Green card. You have your reasons but I feel that your making a mistake by removing your green card option. Our small company utilizes dedicated card services offered by our fuel station choices. Sinclair was our recommended card but unfortunately we must figure a method for our account’s receivable payment methods or go back to our former brand. Removing a department that facilitated the green card may be saving you money but as a customer it’s affecting our consideration considerably. Thank you

Easy peasy. Super simple app to use. Our discounts range anywhere from $.10-$.30 per gallon every time we gas up. I have not been able to figure out why some stations give us $.10 off and others give us $.30 off. No complaints though.

Great app on stations where they have it. We love using the app but unfortunately not all stations have it that we’ve been to on our road trip this summer. Some show up but don’t allow you to pay with it. Would be great it they all had it especially with Covid going around

If it ain’t broke…. So why in the world would you make it more difficult to buy gas than it was before? And then, when people finally figure out the app and start to use it, you change it! Now the order is confusing – your asked to hit pay before you ever get gas! What sense does that make? I’m about to switch brands of gasoline because you’ve made it so difficult to buy from Sinclair. Chevron makes a pretty good product, and even though it’s a few pennies more expensive, it’s really easy to buy.

“Newer is not necessarily “better”. The app was upgraded recently. It now seems to take more clicks to perform a basic fill-up than it used to with the old app. I’m sure the programmers think it’s better, but I’m not sold. Looking at the recent reviews, the development team struck out with this version. Do you use a focus group of real users before you roll something out??

The App is terrible!. I tried five times to load a credit card, and each time I did it step by step it didn’t work. I tried calling support & the gentleman said, I could use my phone number at the pump. That didn’t work! I’m NOT happy I tried at a number of different gas stations with no luck. The support team was not helpful & a couple of gas stations I even went inside and the people were NOT very friendly OR helpful, period. I even tried it in different states back east with no luck. You folk’s get 1 star, and that’s it. Thank you.

Exceptional customer service. I changed my phone on the app and couldn’t use it as it kept sending to my old phone. Your customer service corrected that situation just as fast as I told them there was a problem! I appreciate Sinclair and your hometown old-fashioned service! Thank you so much.

I LOVE DINOPAY. Most of the time DINOPAY is one of the BEST apps I’ve ever used. The last 2 times I tried to use it before today it wouldn’t let me use it but other than those 2 times I’ve been VERY SATISFIED with it and have saved a lot of money over about 4 years! One of the easiest apps to use (I usually have Murphy’s Law trouble when using apps!).

Love the app but loyalty 10 cents wasn’t available today. Why no 10 cent saving every time? I have referred several people to this app and was very upset today when it said loyalty not available. Your company needs to have integrity and honor their word!

Doesn’t work. I have tried buying gas at several different places with this app and I have reached several error messages after the payment acts like it is going to go through and then I go to try it again and I receive a message that says “You have tried to purchase gas too many times, try again in a few minutes” I wait several minutes, try again and get the same message. Not a very helpful app, really disappointed!

Not operational. Y’all claim to be doing maintenance on your app but I’ve only been able to use it once since downloading it, and that is severely discouraging. Seems like when the gas price shot up your app quit working. It can’t possibly be having maintenance for weeks at a time. Do better! your users depend on you to get your act together. I used my daughters app for months with no problem until the gas prices went up and I downloaded my own app. seems fishy to me that suddenly the app is under maintenance for an extended period of time.

Would not accept my valid payment method. Would not accept my valid payment method trying with ‘2 valid cards. The it said I tried too many times and I am locked out for 24 hours to even use my card in the pump!!!

Limited number of times per day. The app will only let you use it a limited number of times per day. I’m not sure the number but it seems to be only twice per day. Also, I pulled up to a station, opened the app and it won’t let me select pay at pump or inside. It shows the station but is t allowing me to purchase with the app which is linked to mobile advantage debit. Very frustrating!

Like. Needs a feature!. I like the app and savings. However, I have several vehicles in my family. As I make fuel purchases for different vehicles and manage the expenses in my family I need to track which vehicles are using how much gas. I want a way to label fuel purchases as something like, “wife’s car”, “mine” etc…

Doesn’t always change the price.. I have been using this app for about a month now. And it only seems to work about half the time. It’s supposed to give you $.10 off per gallon on your normal credit card. But so far, for me, it’s only done that two out of the four times I’ve used the app. I even use the same pump all the time.

Great app. Wish you could select car.. This app makes it so much easier to get gas! And helps keep a record. No more searching bank account to find out how much I spend a month. Only wish you could put your different cars in and select which one you are filling. Then I could track my mpg.

You’re missing out. Best gas app ever! I save 20 cents a gallon anytime any Dino gas station. My whole family and extended family all use this app. Game changer for fuel prices even when they are sky high you’ll still be paying less than the rest

Fixed the issue. I previously rated a 1 star and left a bad review, but after reaching out to support they responded and fixed the issue, it is now working and i received the discount. Good customer service. Fast customer service. My disappointment is now lifted.

App Does Not Work. I used the app last night & I didn’t same nothing. I paid for regular price on fuel. The app only wants info and don’t link your cards or bank account to the app. The app doesn’t work. There is a Dino fuel station in Beclabito, NM. Your system informed me that there is no fuel station at that location. That location needs to have free WiFi service. Beclabito, NM has very bad service for WiFi and internet. You can ask any of your customers and they will tell you the truth.

Great way to reserve a pump and save!. Sinclair comes through with a marvelous way to reserve a pump and save a dime a gallon. The only recommendation I would suggest is to have the app search on a wider area and give choices. I live in a rural area and won’t find a station until I am within city limits or right next to the truckstop I live by. Thanks for the app!

App stopped working. App worked fine for a couple of months. Very convenient. Nine weeks ago it stopped functioning at my local Sinclair station. Customer service said via email: “We are doing updates at this location, it is temporarily under construction”. Uh, I’m done waiting for whatever is being “updated”. What a shame. Deleting app.

Review. Updated this new app in order to maintain a savings on gas. Unfortunately it did not go smoothly. Had to update card, sign in every time and now maybe the app will not let us type in the pump number? Went inside for help and was told perhaps it is the app? Figured out manually to type in another a green the number of the pump then copy and paste it. Hopefully this will be updated some time soon

Works great. Started using the app because of low lifes placing skimmers in the card readers. It’s a full time job for the gas station attendants trying to keep their stuff secure. The app is stable and saves me money when I use it. Only drawback is I wish I started using it sooner.

Stop Putting Advertisements in Every Nook and Cranny. This used to be a great app but they have now added a pop up ad to the start up which hardly ever loads. Due to the ad not loading you cannot exit out of it thus rendering the app useless as I can’t access the necessary actions to pay for gas. I have to close my app roughly 5 times to be able to get to a useable screen. You already advertise when I sit at the pump! When is enough enough?!

Frustrating app. It was easy to set it up and add my payment. Where this app fails is logging me out, location finder and pay outside. I went to use the app and it requested me to sign in. Why do I have to sign in each time? Also, I was literally at the station and it couldn’t find it. When I was finally able to locate the station, the pay outside indicates I was too far away. I really wanted to like this app but it’s too much work to deal with. I don’t want an app that is difficult to use, doesn’t that defeat the purpose?

Great app! But….. Wish there was a way to set how much I want to get on the app instead of using the pay inside option. Don’t get me wrong I love the pay inside option because I can use it to purchase drinks and snacks etc. when I leave my wallet at home or in the car. Will this feature be coming to the app soon?

Sad to say good bye. Dear Sinclair, after many many years of loyal support and thousands of gallons of gasoline, you have forced us to say goodbye due to your elimination of the Sinclair gas card. We are not comfortable attaching our bank account to your app. We have enjoyed doing business with you and again are saddened that you have made this decision and forced our hand. We are only a tiny blimp on your screen and only are giving you a one star rating in hopes someone may actually read this and care about our concerns. We shall miss visiting Dino.

Dino pay at these stations only work every other time it’s wrong. It the dalles oregon the two stations in town seem to be able to shut Dino pay off when it helps them I spend a lot on gas next time I go to one of there stations and it don’t conveniently work I will delete my app this been three times they have done this so I no they can turn it off when they want to ses they except it but don’t work sometimes does most don’t

Best gas app. No frills, let’s you compare locations and their prices, easy to use. Absolutely the best one, and I have the 3 other main companies apps as well. I drive a lot for a living. I try to find a Sinclair whenever possible because it’s always the best price.

Outstanding App. I used the App for the first time and it was so easy. It took less time and effort than using a credit card. It turned on the pump, gave me my receipt and turned off the pump. I am sold on it and it’s my favorite brand of gas station from now on.

Quality. Love this app it’s super easy to use and makes paying at the pump super fast! The 10 cents off a gallon doesn’t seem like a lot but as much as I drive for work it adds up quickly. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve played the “Yea I think I can make it” card just to make it to my usually green Dino stop! 😂
