Yandex Mail: Email & Cloud App Reviews

Is there anyway to sort reversely?. One of my main problems while using the app is the unfamiliarity. Gmail and all major email providers show emails from oldest to latest (top to bottom). But this app shows latest emails on top which is kind of confusing. Is there any way to reverse that? Also if there's no subject in the email, the app shows a Russian subject. I would expect it in English

A great foreign to USA yahoo like experience. The only thing id need to add is that it actually has the ability to save passwords directly in the bowser leaving the need for any remembered accounts a thing of the past. I believe they’re based in Russia and have a sister program

The BEST mail service you can put on your phone!. Never left reviews before- but this app definitely worth it! I would say it’s the best and user friendly service you can use for your emails! Unified Inbox. Begging for a unified inbox...Fantastic mostly except for the odd random email heading displaying Russian instead of English, but that's like 1 out of a few hundred emails that display in English. But please, unified inbox.. Update: it displays a Russian heading if there is no subject in the field. It's saying no subject in Russian I assume. Need English.. Update 2: cannot sign in to Yahoo accounts at all. Service temp unavailable.

Amazing. Unlikely Google, Yandex is very professional in not sharing your information with third parties. I love it.

Pin not received. Pin is not being received when login in to account.

Impossible. This email service is the worst ever cannot send one email without getting an error saying they think it’s spam or whatever will be canceling soon

Can’t send emails - BEWARE. This seemed like a great app. I was all ready to switch over from Gmail. Until I realized I can’t send any emails to any person. And support is nonexistent. They give you a link to email support and EVEN those emails won’t send. So I try to email them from my Gmail account and get no response whatsoever. For days now

Not receiving any emails. I’ve set up 3 separate accounts and emails for a game I want to play and need an email for, yet I haven’t received ANY confirmation emails at all. Not even in spam. I’m so sick and tired of this, because it’s only with this email app specifically.

App stopped working. About a week ago the app stopped syncing up my mail. It just spins and spins. I try to delete old messages and they disappear for a second then reappear. Missed a few important messages because new messages aren’t loading. Uninstalled. Looking for an alternative app. So disappointed.

App no longer works. This app no longer works on my phone. After months of flawless use, one day last week it just stopped working I am no longer able to log in. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times to know avail. The Apple store app support appears in Russian which is no good to me.

Love it but there are some buggs. I switched from outlook to this email app. So far I like it a lot especially dark mode. Not everything needs to be overly bright. There is one bug. My sent email folder keeps showing me old emails from 3-4 years instead of my most recent. Be great if you guys can fix this.

Great for small businesses. Yandex is one of the few email companies that lets you host your business domain (i.e. your “dot com”) for absolutely free (with POP3 and SMTP access). It was easy to setup and I absolutely love it. Thank you Yandex, please keep this service free forever :)

Disappointed, non starter :(. I was excited to try this app as I’m always looking for improved email apps and the features & reviews look great, but after several tries I couldn’t even connect my first attempted email account (gmail) bc the authentication breaks when you leave the app momentarily to manage the 2fa (error msg was something like “error in transport”) Eventually after 3-4 tries I managed to get the gmail connected but then it declined to allow yahoo subsequently & tells me to try again later.

Hacked. Someone used this service to hack and change my Facebook account information..Facebook won’t help me neither will these people..he’s been using my old fb account to scam people most of my friends have gave him 300$

Beautiful Interface, But not working. I downloaded this app to celebrate the creation of my new Yandex mail account and was shocked to see that it would not send emails. I have read the recent reviews to this effect and can confirm it does not work properly after repeated attempts to reinstall. Shame, because the app is very handsome.

Generally happy but one thing. For some reasons, almost every mail I sent was considered a spam and I have to go through the verification procedures multiple times which is very annoying and time consuming. Could you please update your algorithm (or whatever it takes) to help user spend less time to send a regular email?

100% pure lousiness!. This app, just like the country of origen, Russia, has gone down hill. I got a new iPhone and I am setting my e-mails accounts in my new phone and it’s asking me to enter my phone number. No Yandex, you can not have my phone number. There is not need for it. I set up a secret question already. That, and don’t you people spy in us more than enough already? Of course you do! I suppose that since I can’t access my accounts unless I provide my phone number, and I won’t, this is it. Good bye Yandex!

Poor. My mail sent out to another address not delivered to the inbox directly, all the mails I sent out are delivered to the spam! Why? You guys need to fix this ASAP!!!

Can’t send emails…. I haven’t been able to send emails for over a week. I keep receiving the message that you think I’m spamming so my account will not send my messages. I tried reaching you through the app but it tries to send you an email with my concern. It will not allow me to send any emails from any of my accounts. Hinders my business. Hopefully someone can help.

NO RESPONSE FROM CUSTOMER SUPPORT. I have requested multiple times for my account to be deleted and my email taken on their servers but they never respond. This is in the instructions to remove your account, yet they don't even abide by their on customer support instructions. I would consider removing this review or updating I'd they actually ever respond.

Icon Change. Yandex Mail has been my most trusted mail application; with simple interface; that I have been using for almost half a decade. The only question regardin the application is the modification of the app icon with more vibrant red and yellow colors and a touch of some creative design…!!! Thank you

View. All is good and smooth So far everything is good,

Not even close to user experience of the 21st century. This application requires at least two hands to be used in order to complete such easy functions as “delete”. The buttons are small and located in the less comfortable place of reach for the user. While in a view where I see an email I expect to delete it in single touch and be forwarded to the next one - instead I have to click “...” first, and then am forwarded to the whole list. Time to change a product owner.

Mark all as read. It’s not that hard to implement this, but “mark all as read” is nowhere to be found neither in app nor in web version. And starting 2017 it’s impossible to use yandex email with Spark App. Be better, guys

Great Email App!. Great email app! Gmail doesn’t even compare to this. My only compliant is sometimes I get Russian spam mail but that has mostly stopped. There is no built in ads, great organization, and a good UI. It’s amazing! Go Yandex!

Passcodes. I have enjoyed this app for several years. I want to be able to lock this in such a way that no one can get into it. At the present time, I am unable to do this with the passcode or the 4 number lock. Calling this to your attention so you can fix it. N

You just ruined it for me. I was quite happy with this app, but this last update made this adds at the top of the screen so annoying, that I most likely will stop using it. Seriously, what were you trying to achieve by that?

Yandex.Mail is better than Gmail. I’ve been using Yandex mail for 3 years now. It’s a great email platform; more stable and more trustworthy than gmail.

It was ok. Inspite of it constantly being hacked it was okay until last update when message size decreased so small even with text size on phone to the largest setting i cant read the messages or even the inbox the size decreased so much I dont need to see every message in my inbox at once as I can even see who they are from You also can use default browser it only uses safari regardless of what the default browser is

Ad. Great app and collect way less than any americans email provider 5/5 that can explain why we got ads but still wondering why there is no paid version or a paid subscription with the email provider (because if you pay it in apple id you will have to pay on each apparel you don't use the same id) so that way you can get money and us we can get an app without ads

Cannot disable ads anymore. In the recent version the setting that disabled ads has been removed. Do not download this update!

Not good email client. I like Yandex.Mail services overall. But app is not convenient at all.

Ads. Where all these annoying ads came from? App used to be so transparent and well designed, now there is always an annoying banner on the top. Doesn’t Yandex make enough money to keep its apps ad-free? Time to go back to good old apple mail app. Disappointed!

Yandex is my primary email provider. Everything is great with Yandex.Mail it meets all your needs and wants however that would be better if they produce Yandex.Admin app, but everything else is great I do recommend it.

Need HTML Signature. Hi, As we all know, most organizations requires HTML signatures in E-mail, sadly we cannot do it on app. Please try to enable this feature or else the signatures can be grabbed from the Yandex Web Mailbox where we saved them. So that could resolve the hassle to copy paste signatures in signature section on mobile phones.

Отвратительно. Что еще ждать от яндекса? Что это вообще такое? Почему интерфейс постоянно прыгает? При нажатии уведомления висит на экране загрузки. При нажатии на письмо в списке сверху появляется реклама, смещает и в итоге нажимаешь на другое письмо. Почему заранее не выделить место под рекламу зачем по всему приложению кидать интерфейс?

Good app. This is a good app, but I need to access RSS feeds reader too

Unstable and crashes. As soon as I turned On a Compact mode in the Settings the app crashed and won't start anymore. If you click on Reopen from the system crash popup it says this file can't be found... If you try to start from appli application folder it just keeps crashing Also it doesn't have all inboxes "birdview" view on the side. If you want to glance over all the mail accounts to see where are the undread emails in any you can't. You have to get out of the current mailbox view and click on another mailbox icon on the top of the app to actually see if there are unread mails there. You can only chose and see one mailbox at the time and only in the list view. There is no sidebar for emails either. Your either in the emials list veiw of the current forlder (Inbox, Sent, etc.) or you're in the currently chosen email view reading pane. Unstable and pretty badly desinged app. Deleted.

Amazing, works great and I’ve used it for years!!. I have trusted Yandex to my email and cloud service for years after safety concerns with iCloud and i absolutely love it. The support is immediate and completely personal so I don’t understand these reviews. I would say half may be fake reviews or uneducated of how to use the Yandex features correctly. I work in Software Development and Network Security, so with that said Yandex is amazing and for security reasons I highly recommend it.

A major mistake. I created an account. It was able to receive but not send messages. On the fourth time I attempted to send a message it logged off automatically and then when I tried to log in it sent me a message that my account was hacked and I should set up a new password but since it refused me entry to the account I could not do that. I've deleted the app. Major mistake trying it out.

Good app, few things missing. It’s a good app, and I like the idea to have multiple emails accounts under one roof. But there are a few features that need to be implemented. First, the pdf attachments don’t open. Second, when you link your gmail, all the mail goes to the same folder. Gmail does good job separating it by folders like Updates, Primary, Social...etc. I wish the Yandex app mimicked the similar layout, at least for gmail account. And please, remove those adds. Apart from that, the app works fine.

Cannot send or receive emails, I have subsequently been locked out of other accounts.. I got a new email address and it does not work. I cannot send or receive emails. I used the email address to sign up for patreon and have been locked out of that account as I cannot confirm my email address because I can’t receive emails. Even worse, Yandex support is nonexistent. I can not submit an issue because even though it is a form to fill out, it goes through email and since I cannot send emails all my help requests are just saved in my drafts. Yandex used to be awesome, now I suggest you go anywhere else to get an email address because many people (read through the reviews) are having the same issues and their lack of support is horrendous.

Not working. This app is a total waste of time. after creating a new email account I can not send nor receive any emails, my user I’d and password have been entered correctly. If you can’t create a working app why are you even bothering?

Works. I don't use email extensively (it annoys me) but my general use of this app has been satisfying. No issues I can think of, has a relatively simple interface that makes it easy to do everything I have needed it for. Using as a replacement to the Mail app.

Separate email boxes. I like the background changes, but most of all the fact I can have different email boxes at one platform. However, wouldn't be easier enabling the account holder to create aliases within the one platform rather creating new accounts for each?

Garbage App. This app has a feature on a button that has Trips, People, ...so annoying feature I refuse to this app. Used Yandex mail for many years until this new garbage button.

Performance is Very Good. I was a little surprised to find the experience is so smooth. It's simple and accomplishes exactly what I wanted from an alternate email provider. Both desktop and mobile app function without error and have some nice features.

Crash. On launch - iphone x

My favourite mail application. This is my daily mail application. It is very simple and easy to use and looks incredible. It is also very easy to forward your other mail accounts to your Yandex which is extremely beneficial. It’s better for native Russian speakers but English version has gotten much better with time and is getting better with every update. Yandex still needs to update this app for the iPhone X but it’s still great
