important. ive used this app for about two years i equalize all my music with this app i even created different sounds for different songs but as of last month the components chorus flanger and distortion when i click on it show up a blank screen and i waited this long becuase i was contempt with the sounds i already made and hoped that by now the problem would be solved but it still hasnt im still giving you a five star rating because other than that issue which can be fixed with an update i love this app i now dont listen to music unless i equalize it through this app

wonderful app but improvments can be made. Love the ways I can change the way my music sounds. Please give the ability to press shuffle at the top of the top. Its also a wonderful idea that you can have an custom eq from others that posted it. please give a rating option for it; and make it so it says what genre the eq is for example all, rock, metal, pop. If you make an update please add more ways I can change my music. That I believe is the strongest reason i use the app is to change the way the music played. Overall, great app but please add ratings for the eqs from other people and some type of filter. Thank you for such a great app.

I can’t download songs ever since the update. ever since the update I try to download in new songs, whenever I play it it’s not there out there is a file right there they need to put it back like before, they ruined the app

Cant add songs. Every update this seems to be an occurring problem with capriccio, everytime you guys update the app we cant import songs into the app anymore and i leave the app alone for a good month or two and its back to normal. Whats the problem???

ISSUES ON CHANGING CUSTOM EFFECTS. I’m very disappointed... Very... Two updates and nothing has changed. Every time I change the effect on the parametric eq or Any it flashes grey till nothing is there and I can’t even do anything. Older Version was way better than this. Please update platform...

I am getting really interested now. Frankly, there is a need for a universal audio file downloader/browser/player on iOS devices. Apple has made a mess of file management and audio is probably the worst affected due to the greedy business around the iTunes cash cow. This app covers quite a few bases and I am figuring it out as I go. I am really pleased at the direct downloads from URLs in addition to all the audio formats, sampling rates, and word lengths. To be able to grab and play FLAC or Ogg Vorbis files as well as 24-bit/48KHz Wav, eg, makes this a far superior tool compared to the mostly hopeless competition. Especially if you are among those who make and share recordings, eg of literary works. At this point, you might as well show some support and shell out a buck. I am. This is promising work, on its way to becoming a top audio tool for iOS devices.

FIX THIS APP. This was the best app ever now I can’t even download music onto it. Why is everything changed ? It was perfect the way it was.

Update!!!. Updated the app now it keeps crashing!!! Was so mad because I have over hundreds of songs on it and now there all gone from the update that was supposed to “fix” bugs and what not! Wish I never did the update and kept with the version I had before!

Help. How to download music?

Music. I use documents as my app to download music into capriccio and with this new update I cannot add new music

Old format, but fix bugs please. Please change the app back to the original format, it was more easy to maneuver and configure. A lot of files don’t even show up and your custom effects from the previous version are blank and you cannot edit it

New Update. This new update is trash all my custom effects don't work and everything is so complicated now. Really wish we could go back to the old version!

Needs update. This app needs a serious update and a more clean stream line interface. It would also be nice to add an auto equalizer option and make the album art bigger

E. needs an update on custom effects because when I press components to adjust stuff like the echo, reverb or parametric eqz none of them show up unless I do it on a downloaded eq from effects sharing. Other than that It's just a blank screen and just shows the pre volume decibels

Wow. Really cool player, you can do everything with that effects editor. When I looked at screenshots I didn't liked the ugly look (and I still don't) but when you get in you'll find that it's still nice. I love the effects editor, there is noone on Appstore who did that. Super fast loading. But, the songs select and playlists thing is SO crappy, you didn't think about usability? But I'm still giving 5 stars. Also, there is lag when you turning EQ, I want my sound to change without a delay.

Awesomely Complex EQ Customization. Tad Glitchy, but WELL WORTH the occasional crash. Audio Fidelity is top-notch. Love the fact that the intrinsically selectable frequency bands not only allow for +/- dB (Gain), but also to the bandwidth allocated to the amount of gain specified. This sounds redundant, but if you know what you're doing, you can create amazingly accurate and absurdedly deep & spacious sound from ANY set of speakers/headphones, without the need for post amp modifications to the audio stream (e.g. reverb, 3D, Loud, etc...) If you own Klipsch audio products, check out my line of variant HiFi EQ's, listed under the same author name, Audiophile. A few revisions I made a month ago should still be listed under weekly populer, each having garnered a few hundred downloads already. If not, i'll be a short ways down the recent list. My most recent- 'H!Fi =[Fully Evolved]=,' is almost universal for high end speakers/headphones that possess close to reference response signatures. Klipsch S4 headphones cost between $60-90, depending on features and retailer, have insanely wide and accurate frequency response, and are an immaculate pairing to my EQ. I've been re-listening to my ENTIRE library; rock, hip-hop, classical, death metal, dubstep...and it's been like hearing it all for the first time. Unreal fidelity and spatial reproduction, with deep, layered, and most importantly, undistorted bass. Not to sound immodest....but pure sound is my epitomal passion.

Hands down best MP3 player. When I stay pounding my 22r down hanapepe town and here those spectrums come I just like CHEEEEE HOOOO. Nothing better than it

Almost great. Good app with functionality that's almost there. FTP streams but unclear whether or not it can download onto capriccios own file system. FLAC works. File system UI is dated, buttons too small and icons inconsistent. The player itself looks fine

What a nice job finally free FLAC. Thank you very much for wonderful FLAC player. Finally I can enjoy my Jang Geum sound tracks on the move. Only problem that the software crashes after uploading each file, but the rest is great.

Get This app. This app plays all my flac files and let's me make playlists with both flac and mp3 files, for a free app it is amazing!

Song not play at all. This new update is not use at all. Only half of the song play and then it stop automatically. I don’t know what’s wrong with this new update now. Can u fix this issue!

Great Value. This free app has some neat features that aren't available on the other much pricier Flac players. You can speed up or slow down playback, skip forward and back, loop sections for playback, and even change frequency(?) to play back audio like you're listening to the chipmunks or Barry White. It does high-speed scrubbing through your tune like iTunes does and you can repeat a song, all songs, and shuffle tunes as well. English help and descriptions are available and I've had no issue despite not understanding Chinese. I don't find the ads bothersome. It doesn't auto-magically handle your album info but you can set up playlists. In theory it will play your iTunes playlists, albums and songs if you wish but my library is so big I lost patience with the loading process. The biggest drawback for me is the playback of the same Flac file from this player is weaker/quieter than the other two Flac players I've bought to try and even compared to the iTunes mp4 playback of the same song. Overall this is a great "purchase" worth more than the FREE price tag!

the music player is trash. Travelling through the music player is terrible. I guess making it like the original itunes music player where artist songs albums and playlist are on the bottom is too hard for app developpers.

Save 9.99. Forget downloading the pay app to play flax files. This app may not be pretty but it plays flac no problem. Just brush up on your Chinese.

Best music player ever!!!!. As a musician and producer I have to say that this player rules!!! I have never seen an eq as in depth for a music app ever!!! You can adjust it to fit your headphones no matter what brand or make.. The possibilities are endless.. Also if you don't want to go through the trouble, you can download one from the thousands online!! Awesome work guys!! Super impressed!!

This is an Amazing Little Player. Figuring how to move files into folders took a bit of work but the sound quality is exquisite! The app does standard hierarchical file management which I love and... did I mention that sound? Bye bye compressed audio!

Insane Stability. Runs .flac with album artworks at 2000x2000 with ease. I am extremely satisfied. As soon as I get an iTunes card, I will buy the premium version!!!

Nice. A little slow to respond, and ads of course in the free version, but I like the sound/playback better than any other free FLAC player I've tried.

Great app. Does everything I need it to. My only complaint is when it checks the internet for lyrics to 'Wish You Were Here' by Pink Floyd, it comes up with the lyrics to the Avril Lavigne song of the same name.

Great alternative to iTunes. This is a great app, well worth purchasing the ad-free version. The description isn't especially clear, but one of main features of Capriccio is its built-in FTP and http file server, allowing you to upload files to the app with an FTP client or web browser - no syncing required!

Best music player app. All of the things which were janky in v2 have been fixed, and this app now not only does everything (speed, effects, file types and management, etc.) but it does it with a nice UI. Many thanks and congrats to the developer for these improvements.

Really good music player with a nice looking display. I've spent a lot of time reviewing music players to take the place of IOS "built-in" music player & Capriccio is at the top for combining features I wanted: keeps it's playlist independent of the built-in player's; decent font size for song titles and displays the number of the song/total songs in playlist. Plus has an equalizer to adjust for different speaker/ earphones. Easy to use.

I was stoked when i saw this app bbuutt.... This looked sick up until i can't figure out how to download music. I may just be an idiot. Please help. Other than that its cool.

Used to be my GO-TO MP3 App. Ever since the new update came out (around the end of April 2016), every time I try to play an MP3, the player stops playing roughly one minute into the song/show. I’ve tried everything I could find to make it work… no good. Bring back the old app PLEASE!!!

Awesome. This is da best app I ever had da number one fact I can customize my own sound and sounds like subwoofers on my 10xi klipsh earphones and I hope one day this app will make a sequence play my music backwards I will buy it

Neat and entertaining!. Not too shabby. this is a pretty neat EQ app. So far one of the best free EQ apps out there. Lot of different options you can use, not to mention the cool sound effects sharing downloading. Two thumbs up.

Volume up/down swipe not working. In the last update, the volume swipe feature broke, it does nothing now. No email to submit bugs or feature requests...

WOW !. After your recent update this application is incredible I have 7 other music apps on my phone and this app will now completely replace them all it doesn't crash or freeze anymore it plays all files and formats and with all the sound effects all I can say is wow !

YES!!. Thank friggin god I found this! Very specific with what I want my music to sound like. Not satisfied with iPod presets so this is a savior. Those presets don't give me those tasty high ends for those cymbal hits and mid frequencies to give those riffs enough juice. mmm juicy guitar licks.

Absolutely the best music player for iOS. It plays most of the audio files you name it! And not only that there is copious amount of ways you can manipulate music playback. It's been a while since the last update, thank you very much!

Revising my rating to five stars!. To my knowledge, this is the best music player app for iPhone. Use FileZilla with anonymous quick connect to transfer music files very easily. Thanx for the added documentation on FTP. This app rocks!

OK. Interesting features, but wish it would allow file association so it could be used to play sound files in other applications like email, Dropbox, and web browsers.

Problems fixed. Works great again!. I originally gave a very low review of this app when it was skipping through tracks, but since the new update this app operates as well as it originally had. If you like listening to audiobooks, then this is the app for you. You can load up an audiobook from your computer and then bring it to the speed you prefer. Thanks for updating Capriccio! Enjoy the app folks!

DrJLM. THE BEST app for listening to music bc of the equalizer options, and THE BEST app for listening to lectures because of the speed up,slow down, and a to b repeat along with 3 and 1 second fast forward/rewind. I'd give it 8 stars if I could! This app made my day.

Getting there. Bit slow with bigger libraries. Crashed once already and having a hard time reopening program. Crossfade would be a great future feature. Also, music needs to be broken up by album when you go into an artist. And the songs should be in their correct track order instead of scattered. Also, many albums display incorrect artwork in the artist view. Other than that it's pretty awesome. Great sound quality. Update: It won't play my flac files, which is the whole reason for getting this app. This is a necessity and must be fixed.

Ditch your stock music player..... Only been using this a few hours and will be ditching the stock iPhone app to the back page. Note to the program's author.... Really should have some help screens to show how to add songs thru ITunes, how to wi-fi transfer and just basic stuff. I had to assist a new'be who couldn't figure it out. Otherwise, the app makes my top 5 list !

Works flawlessly with Flac. Downloaded app to use with Flac only but after ten mins, replaced the Music app on the home bar and haven't looked back.

Does what it says on the tin - and it looks good too. And it played my .ogg files with no complaint.

Just Get It. I've tried other equilizers and they dont sound as good as this one and this is free and its better than the paid ones

Freezes and Shuffling is weird.. The app sometimes pauses music randomly, even if that app has no music. And I picked "reorder playlist" under shuffle settings, but it played the same song 3 times within 7 songs.

Revert Back To Last UI & Please Unlock The EQ Sharing. I Have Been A Long Time User Of This App. & Now Dont Use It Due To The Current UI & No EQ Sharing. I Will Gladly Use Again When The UI Is More User Friendly & Their Is Eq Sharing :)

Great app!. It's darn near perfect- only real gripe is that there is an audio "hiccup" when changing tracks. Still, very versatile app with a very customizable EQ (the main reason I got it) and loads of other features. Can't ask for more (for free, anyways).

Incredible Sound!. This app is head and shoulders above all of the other audio enhancing apps available. The sound is crisp, clear and has a sonic depth lacking in the native music player. I use Yamaha earbuds and I notice the difference. Everyone should download this app to enhance the sound of high end headphones.

Needs one feature. Great for browsing aid (ogg vorbis, midi), but it should be able to just play a file when I select "open in Capriccio". Instead it just puts file in inbox which is not convenient.

Crashes on viewing library or playing demo track, but opens OGG files from Safari. No way to use this as a music player, at least on my device, since it crashes immediately, but what I was looking for was an app that would allow me to play OGG files from Safari (e.g. on Wikipedia embedded audio File pages), and for that it works fine, whereas neither version of VLC I tried had this capability.

Very good, Unique. GR8 Update.. Some features are set or controlled slightly differently than expected. I'm going to check out the full version. CAN RECOMMEND

Great app!!!. Wonderful app but, the only problem is that when I would play songs through for a certain period of time, there's this screeching feedback that happens at the beginning of certain songs & this also happens when I manually change the songs as well! Please fix this annoying bug for the upcoming update. It would be greatly appreciated

Great idea.. This is a pretty cool app and works very well. An affordablle media solution that is easy to manage. The only problem I have is it appears to drain power.

Copy your files from Linux (or other OS). I use it to listen to all my FLAC files by simply copying and pasting to my phone. (in its directory of coarse).

Great app. Met all my expectations. Doesn't glitch even with extreme amount of music downloaded. Like the fade transition effect when you switch tracks. I don't know what else to add, it's really good music player

Great for rehearsing.. I use the app to learn and rehearse music. The section forward and reverse options are great. And the fact that you can slow a song down without affecting pitch is awesome. It's really made my rehearsal time much more productive. Thanks!!
