Best "Crush the Castle" game yet. This is definitely the most enjoyable Castle Clout clone I've ever played. The biggest improvement over other games of this genre is the removal of the awkward catapult. Finally, you can just tap and let physics take it's course! Another grand improvement is the scoring system. There's no irritating Castle Clout style damage scoring, but there's reward for doing more than merely killing all your targets. Saving civilians also adds another layer of depth to the game. Props also to the sound design, graphics, and interface. Somewhat below Crush the Castle, but loads better than Angry Birds! To restate my thesis, this game is definitely the best of it's kind. Devs, if you're reading this, just know that you have players who truly appreciate the work you're doing!

Siege Hero Review. Siege Hero was definitely an awesome game! I'm at the pirate stage and am still pleased and entertained! For me, most game apps can't capture my attention for more than 20 minutes, but for SH, it has had me for 6 hours. With strategic and intellectually stimulating content, it definitely helps you to look at things a new way. Not all challenges are the same and the scaling of levels is quite sporadic and spontaneous, and the fun and addictive quality doesn't end.

No free developer Levels. Paid for developer levels; there are no levels! Then the app went fully free. This appears to be fraud; granted it was a small amount! That adds up!!!! Where are the levels or refund the money!!!!

Review. Awesome game. I enjoyed every minute of it. The physics engine is excellent and to be honest I'll play this over angry birds any day. My only suggestions for the update would be: new items to use, possibly up the difficulty in solving the puzzles just a teeny bit(it's fun to be frustrated while playing this game), and just keep doing what you're doing. I hope you guys continue with updates until even the "Age of Aliens" and beyond. Thank you for making my bathroom breaks at work truly entertaining.

New discovery. So I'm browsing the app store right? I come across this wondering what it is. So I tap on it and scroll to the bottom and look at pictures, at first I though it was another one of those angry birds knock offs. Well it certainly is NOT that. It is similar but different because you are knocking down towers but in a different way. I have only played a few levels but it has turned out to be very good. If only there were more scenarios or whatever they are called.

Great Game. Some say that this game is simply a copy of Angry Birds. I disagree. While there are obvious similarities, the differences are so great that Siege Hero can even be described as original. The greatest difference has to be the simple yet challenging method of delivering attacks. It is simple compared to Angry Birds because you can direct the attacks exactly where you want to. It is challenging because, while you can do this, you at times still find yourself struggling to deliver the desired destruction. Great game! I'm looking forward to what's to come from the makers of Siege Hero.

Loved it so much I was upset when I beat it. You guys did a great job! My only suggestions are having the bombs available for purchase after your levels have been completed at least once. Additionally I'd love to see a slow motion effect when the cannons are going off just from ignition to impact it would be pretty cool to watch it all happen. Then once the initial impact is over return to normal speed. And I wouldn't be afraid of making it a tad more challenging. I has an awesome the playing and I look forward to Age of Cowboys!

The heir to angry birds. This has the potential to overthrow angry birds. Not only are the graphics and physics just as good, the gameplay is more fun and satisfying. Perfect level of not too hard, where angry birds is sometimes way too hard. My note to developers is please create more levels where you blow things to smitherines and everything flies everywhere. Those are the most fun. Also new more powerful bombs would be great! And dont make additions insanely hard like angry birds did! Please make more! You guys have gold here!

Flawless game got even better in MASSIVE update!. Yesssss!!! The big update is finally here (and was rather quick, too)! If you thought Siege Hero was packed with content before, you'll be floored by the whooping amount of new levels and content in this update! If you're into games like Angry Birds, Max Damage, and Fragger, Siege Hero is basically like those except instead of flinging projectiles "from the side" you do it from the first-person perspective which is actually a very simple but neat idea. I love the regal opening theme music; the graphics and visuals are wonderful; the sounds the soldiers make are funny and charming; and the puzzles are a blast, especially the challenging ones! I simply can't praise this game enough...and can't stop playing it to boot! =D Get Siege Hero. Afterwards, you won't care about an Angry ~who~?

Fun, addictive, creative, tons of levels.. Create chaos with a simple stone, collapse castles with a torch, all with a simple touch interface. Only gripe is I want more! Great game and a lot of fun! Suggest maybe allowing a player to select what to fire first, or allowing some sort of in game leveling up similar to your crush the castle game or a mode to replay levels with any weapons; always missing in these block destroying games. This is the best one I've played though, so kudos!

Longest kept free app. Love the game. I'm ranked 7k 4k and 3900 in the three available levels. I like the ranking because I always try to go back and beat my scores. Half the time I stay on a level if I don't get a gold crown until I do. Always looking forward to the challenges. Honestly more fun and challenging than angry birds. I downloaded this app when I switched from blackberry to the iPhone and ive kept this app the longest.

Need more levels please!!. Once I started this game I couldn't put it down!! And I have to get a gold crown every level or I won't go to the next one! I was really surprised to see so many levels already. Definitely a game that makes you think. And sometimes luck helps! ;) I just played the new pirates level, LOVED IT! Can't wait for the cowboy level to come out! Need more. Need more. Need MORE!!

Addicting!. This game is addicting!! When I played the levels each time, I was glad to see that I had cleared each one. Until I actually cleared one and earned a gold crown for not using all my resources! Then I went all the way back to level one from level three and did them all over again! Can't wait for more levels to come out. I may have to reset the game just to get my Siege Hero fix until updates are ready! Fun, Fun, Fun!!!!!

Great strategy games 4 all!. I've been playing this game for several months now and I just can't get enough! When they came out with the pirates level I was even more thrilled!! The puzzles got harder but that just made me want to play even more! My husband even got into it with me and would go back to the levels I only scored a silver crown on and he would work at them until her got a gold crown for each! Just a really fun and smart game that always keeps you interested!

Perfect!. Synopsis: You must travel through the different eras of warfare, defending the conquered as you go. With a simple tap to fire catapault, you will blast your way through this simple, yet very addictive iOS masterpiece. Gameplay: Simply tap to aim at the weekpoints of the structures to bring down the enemy. You can tap and hold for precision aiming. Menus, environments, graphics, game progression and overall style are very similar to Angry Birds. Graphics: Slightly more polished than the original Angry Birds, less so than Rio. Control: Spot on! I never found myselg cursing at my iPhone as I sometimes would with Angry Birds. Precise, simple, and intuitive. Perfect! Storyline: cute little cut-scenes depict your next enemy and adventure between levels. Aside from that, there is not much to be had. Superior to Angry Birds, however. Conclusion: This is a must have. It does everthing Angry Birds does, but better. Plus, the tap to fire method is far superior, and far less frustrating. Additionally, using the same physics based environment, they achieve much more here. For example, in one mission, you must destroy a box to tip a catapult. You then destroy the chain, releasing the catapult to knock over the enemy tower. Levels like this make it much funner, and truly outshine the birds. A mustt have and instant classic for the iOS platform. 5/5

Siege Hero Review: 9/10. Siege Hero is definitely an above-average "siege game" that offers something unique away from the giant we know as Angry Birds. Though some levels have only one way of getting a "gold" score, you often have quite a few ways of bringing destruction! The enemies and levels also bring great variety, and the level sound design and soundtrack and great! The game moves with great ease with a smooth frame-rate. The first-prison POV also makes it unique so it is easier to hit objects with a "scope zoom" option. You must try it! Gameplay: 8/10 Sound: 10/10 Graphics: 9/10

Addicting. I'm not much of a game player but found this fun and addicting. Kind of similar to Angry Birds and just as entertaining.

Best app ever. I enjoyed This app sooooo much and I think it's better than angry birds. I would love sooooo much if they came out with pirates. The last level of age of discover was pretty challenging but I would like of every level was like that but lil less challenging than that. Fun & Challenge. Just finish the cowboy one. It's more challenge than the previous 3 stages. As usual, total 63 levels for cowboy one. You unlock a bonus stage for every 5 gold crowns you earned. That adds another 13 levels. It's more challenge this time try to get all gold crowns. You really need to find the weakest link in the structure to destroy and utilize hanging weights as well. Can't wait for the next challenge. It's a very fun, yet challenging and rewarding game.

We want more ammo per level.. Fortress Level, Treasure Bonus 12, is a prime example of the best kind of IAP we would love to have, please. In Fortress Treasure12, there are MORE THAN ENOUGH BOMBS so that after we have beaten it, we can continue to play bombing everything. The first time I realized I could blow apart the train cars, I started crying ... happy tears, not the sad kind. It is not necessary to limit the supply of ammo on levels, for us to figure out that we can get a lower score using less of it. But the real secondary love we have, is on rather stressful days, we truly take solice blowing stuff up, without regard for the score. Keep up the great job Siege Heroes!

Cdblachly. Five stars isn't enough to rate this game. This game has a great concept, teamed with excellent execution. The graphics are clean, and the gameplay is challenging while not feeling impossible. Multiple skills are called to action throughout the various levels. Not only will a critical look at the specific architecture of each fortress, but some quick thinking and quick actions are required too. I can't wait for the next version and look forward to Pirates. New levels to crush, and hopefully some new weapons to aid in my domination.

Well made, sometimes too easy. This game is extremely high quality from art, to sound, stability and gameplay. Very surprised that apps of this level are going for free. Siege would be made better if only the levels were more challenging. I find myself earning the gold status in less than three tries most times. I would recommend a tier higher than gold (platinum?) for every level that really requires the player to think about their shots.

One of the top games, period. If you liked Crush the Castle then you will love this offering. It is addicting of a game as I have seen in a while. I would rate it just below Angry Birds. Could turn out to be one of the best ever as they release more levels and weapons. My 6-year-old son and I played it for hours the first night. We have beat all the levels but keep going back to get higher scores. There are levels that made us laugh out loud because they were so over the top. The best ones were the levels that could be completed with one perfect shot. One hit and all hell breaks loose.

Some very crafty levels. I love this game. I have yet to get gold in all levels due to the craftiness of their construction, but I won't rest until I do. It's one reason that its so good. You can't beat it that easy, yet it works from very easy levels into diabolically difficult puzzles. There are also some that are just cool machines to watch as they destroy everything. Good job level creator guy.

The Siege!. What an awesome spin on the genre and it's just as fun and addicting as Angry Birds! I literally could not put it down till I had every gold crown with all achievements! Great game for anyone to pick up and play! If you were not one to get it while it was just free there's still plenty of content for the price! Definitely worth it in my opinion and with more levels on the way it's a must! I can't wait for the Age of Pirates update to enjoy more Siege Hero goodness!

One of the best on my phone. The only real problem with this game is that I'm done with it and new levels don't come fast enough. Please fix the bug in Age of Discovery level 43 that does not allow completion of this level with gold crown. I've followed all the online tutorials & videos to the tee and the structure will not fall as it's supposed to. This is the only level I can't get a gold crown on, which also blocks me from unlocking the final Treasure level. Please fix this bug and release new levels soon.

This game makes me so happy. In this era of mobile grinding and microtransactions, it’s refreshing to pay for an app, plop down, and then wreck some fools on a rewarding physics game without more hands diving into your pockets — it’s incredibly stable, with a simple UI, addictive game play, and is more than fairly priced. Best $.99 I’ve spent at the App Store in years. Thank you.

Great Family Fun!!!. I have had a blast playing this game. I'm not a big game person, but I love trying to solve the puzzle of which beams are supporting the structures and which arn't. I like it that you can telescope in from a front view to aim your weapons at the beams. Saving the peasents added a whole interesting level to the game making each puzzle harder than it would have been without them. My boys are constantly looking over my shoulder trying to help me figure out how to topple the structures. They give a whoop when we have succeeded. Thanks for a great game. Keep the levels coming.

Nostalgia. This game is great and gives me nostalgia, that’s a win win.

Solid strategy, inconsistent physics. Every level of Siege Hero presents the opportunity to think creatively and beat the invaders while saving villagers. The only glaring problem that becomes readily apparent in some stages, however, is the inconsistent physics. Sometimes you'll find that there is, literally, only one solution to a level, but you'll end up redoing it over and over again because the structures don't blow up or behave the same way. This flaw is easily seen in the bonus treasure stages where many only give you one item to use. Despite finding the solution, the pieces don't fall into place as they should. I've had to redo a few of these bonus stages at least 10 times because the fragments of structures wouldn't strike the invaders correctly.

Deceptively Original. Aspect list: Well-done: level design, graphical theme, depth (not overwhelming but still satisfying) Decent: length (too short), difficulty (at times too easy, at others too hard), scope view (occasionally obscured) Crap: none Detailed breakdown: At first blush, Siege Hero appears to be an Angry Birds rip-off. However, after having played the game, one will, no doubt, realize that it is a happy medium of Angry Birds' art style and inherent simplicity and Sieger's strategy and critical thinking aspects; those aspects themselves being a perfect blend of satisfying and non-distracting (after all, we really just want to destroy things.). The game rarely becomes frustrating, although it is not over-easy. Overall, it is a great start. Hopefully this review will hold true with later installments, as well.

Disappointed. I was loving this game until I reached the Age of Cowboys level. All of the Mexican cowboys got flies flying around their heads. So wrong at many levels. DELETED!!!!!

100% Gold Crowns. Really fun time waster. I would say most levels are too easy. Only a couple dozen are really difficult. After playing this game for about an hour each day for a month, and not going to the next level until I got a gold crown, I finished all the levels. I then decided to look at the leader boards, and it put me at #1 for overall score. I am pleasantly shocked. So, for those of you who say getting a gold crown on some levels is impossible, I'm proof that they are indeed obtainable.

Awesome. I think this game is way more fun than angry birds. Angry birds gets boring, the same thing happens everytime, pigs steal eggs, birds get angry, so angry they are willing to commit suicide, and they get theyre eggs back only to have them stolen again. This game youre fighting new enemies everytime because everytime youre a new group, and i love how the building blocks actually crumble and break apart like you can pick away at one piece while the rest of it stays intact, instead of just poofing like in angry birds. Great game, keep the updates coming! *edit* i just beat the whole thing! Gold crowns on everything, really tough, but i did it, like i said before keep those updates coming and ill keep playing. Game rocks!!!

Excellent Game - Can't Wait for Expansions. If I am not mistaken, this game actually predates AB with its online iteration. I think the time taken to convert to iOS was time well spent. This game does skew on the easier side when it comes to gold crown achievements but that does not take away from the overall experience. New ages and a level editor would both be embraced enhancements to the next update as would a multiplayer aspect tied to a level editor. This is a fine example of gaming dine right.

Great little game!. Lots of fun, a great game for the waiting room, or at home. Some say it's an Angry Birds knock-off, but don't you believe it! Yes, it's the same style of gameplay, but Siege Hero has a much better aiming interface. I got frustrated with AB after only a few levels, but with SH, I had fun all the way thru! Now, we just need the developers to finish some more levels! Update: love the new pirates levels! Keep 'em coming!

Really great game. Nevertheless, it only worked once for me. Now it constantly crashes. I have iPod touch 2nd gen. I gave it one star to bring attention to my review, not because I don't like the game. I want to give it five stars, but I cannot yet. Please fix this issue. I REALLY want to play this game again. It's extremely addicting! I also made my review so lengthy only in an attempt (once more) to bring your attention to it. With all of these short, five star reviews, it'd be highly unlikely that you'd see my urgent request soon, if ever. The reason for all explanations, of course were to lengthen my review even more (that includes this explanation as well).

Perfect Balance. There's a perfect balance in this extremely clean cut game. There's just enough tutorial aspects as well as challenging obstacles that keep you stuck on a level but not for too long. The developers have done an excellent job with making it difficult enough to have to try to get a good score but not so difficult where you stay stuck on a level and quit because of the impossibilty of the level and sheer luck required to pass the situation. 5/5 from me.

Great game. This is a very good game. Game play is good and challenging while not being to hard. Graphics are good and well done for each level. The game loads quickly which is nice for a quick play while waiting in line somewhere. While you can make it thru the levels quickly if you want trying to get the best score possible will take sometime to figure out on some levels. Over all I really enjoy this game and look forward to more levels to come.

You did it!!!. (Amazing game I love these types as many people do the angry birds are amazing and this is to so much fun) I look foreword to seeing some angry Christmas and halloween ones as well as my idea I hope someone uses it's a game modeled after the first night of the living dead you walk thru the house finding all the things you need to shoot them and defined yourself as well as first aid food and stuff to board up the windows and doors but hurry the zombies are outside and they are coming kill them find the clues and wait for help

I will look for your other apps, as a courtesy for this piece of work that even a non-gamer will find themselves involved in at free moments! Challenging, uncomplicated, and quite addictive. (uncompensated endorsement for the game!) However, Apple, my next smartphone will do Adobe Flash! FREE THE FLASH! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH...YOU EXCEEDED OIL SHARE ONCE AND YOU CAN DO IT AGAIN! Armor Games does it again!!. Extremely addictive gameplay with tons of levels, good physics, and thankfully even an in-app purchase for levels that are just way too vexing for one reason or another. You won't need it often, because the core gameplay is very well designed and the puzzles are all theoretically solvable without frying your brain. Be warned, the physics are good but not 100% - the same action may result in different outcomes, especially noticeable with later weapons which remove a block all at once. But I would say 99% of the ample levels are great brain teasers which you'll be able to solve without resorting to the hilarious and fun buster bombs :) I still think buying a set of 'em to start out is a nice safety blankie just in case, haha. You will be extremely hard pressed to find another game in this genre that 1. Doesn't start with "Angry"; and 2. Is as fun and well supported as Siege Hero. Buy it!

Definitely Gives Angry Birds A Run For The Money!. Very, very addictive! when I play a game, and sit up until 2am to play "just one more time" you KNOW you have a winner! Great graphics and the puzzles are very well thought out. Just when you think you need to do one thing, it turns out to be exactly the opposite (hint, hint). Keep up the GRAET work and can't wait for the pirates level. And looking forward to many levels yet to come. Suggestion: how about letting us pick the order of the weapons we want to use instead of just presenting the "next one?"

Awesome. Such a great game. If you like Angry Birds, you'll love this. The levels get harder as the game progresses, more than they do in Angry Birds. I'm surprised, given how great this is, that it's not constantly ranked in the top 5. I stumbled across it while app browsing, and would never have seen it otherwise. I didn't know it even existed. But thankfully I did. Great game guys. More level packs coming out??? Can't wait for Age of Cowboys!!!

Resets itself! :(. I absolutely love this game. In fact, I love it so much that I was playing it last night til my phone ran out of batt. Plugged it in to charge and next morning found that it had reset my game and I now have to start again from 0. :( any way I can reload my previous game? That aside, highly-polished graphics, humorous sfx, fab gameplay, hours of fun. Looking forward to more new levels.

Scotty. Very very addictive game defiantly worth 5 stars in my eyes. Great concepts but needs to be longer as I finished it in 3 days with a 100% score on each game in every level. Keep the good work up, looking forward to the next one already.

Really great game. Thanks for the great game. Loads of puzzles to solve, some are quick and simple, others take a bit of figuring out. You can also go back over challenges that you didn't achieve a gold crown for to go for gold.

Keep on returning:). One of the first apps I installed when I got my phone last year. Finished it in a couple of "Dusk til Dawn sessions but I just can't resist the urge to return every few months and restart. Always get different outcomes on each level because you just never know where the pieces will fly. Love trashing old scores too. Would give 10 stars if I could, still one of the best apps I have gotten.

Still very good but I wish it was harder. The difficulty is often more in the random part (last treasure level) than in figuring out how to finish the level. Bring more level with the auto-driving wheels an generally any bits that move ! This game remains in my top 3 nevertheless on my phone.

The Next Angry Birds. This game gives you the feel of Angry Birds but is taking it from a new angle. Literally. You are no longer throwing your projectile from the left, you are now attacking them from the front with a range of projectiles. It has beautiful retina display. If you like Angry Birds you'll love this. Keep up the good work! Really like the sound of that Cowboy Update!

Simply Amazing. This game states "5 hours of gameplay" and well it isnt actually 5 hours to get through all levels. Its 5 hours, trying to get the "crown" (like 3 stars in angry birds) Can't wait for the next update!!! Very happy with this game, no bugs, good physics, fantastic gameplay, could only ask for more levels!!!!! Oh and mabye a few more achievements ;)

Awesome, but.... The game itself is really well done, just a bit of work on the physics, I've had structures leaning at like 30 degrees, the only thing holding it up is a thin stick. Other than those hiccups it's great fun.

Smashing!. Even better than the giant of the industry that inspired it. How? It has faster loading times and resetting takes less time. The sounds are nowhere near as annoying. And level design is arguably more inspired. Some levels are too easy and some diabolically difficult but the vast majority are just perfect. 5/5. Well done!

Totally Entertaining!. I download a ton of games and this is by far my favorite of all my games! I love the simplicity and the challenge keeps me coming back and I'm never bored. The graphics are nifty too. HURRY UP with the next levels!!!!

More more more!. Wonderfully addictive game. Very simple yet challenging at the same time. I love the varying complexity of the levels and eagerly await the new ones. Seeing gold on every level was extremely rewarding and I can't wait to challenge myself all over again.

Well worth it... money well spent!. Very cool game along the lines of Angry Birds, Stupid Zombies, Cave Bowling, Fragger ect... except with more intelligent gameplay, better weapons and your aiming is more accurate and relies on your demolition skills rather than just luck. It's a small 20MB download and only $0.99 for about 150 levels and hours of challenging fun.

Although at times this game doesn't present the challenge of Angry Birds, the thrills in this title spawn from the clean execution of a perfectly placed boulder or bomb, and the accompanying physics that had me shouting timber, as the enemy structure came to lie in ruins. Definitely deserves a 5 star rating.

Fun, addictive. A little too easy. Definitely worth playing. Game controls and physics are brilliant. I did however find the difficulty of the levels inconsistent and typically far too easy. I look forward to the next installment - keep up the great work!!

Market.... There is a big market for physics games especially for portable devices and what you have here theme wise is nowhere new but with the angry birds cut-scenes, thats good, and the rock types shot from you forward rather than sideways is an excellent touch added a new thinking tactic to it which is excellent and getting bigger and becoming a paid app would do you good! Nice work and I wish you good luck with whatever you do with this game!

Brilliant. It may look like Angry Birds, but it just feels so much more. I love the ideas behind it. My one complaint is the GUI is too similar to Angry Birds. Would love for them to make it better with their own great style. Looking forward to Pirates. Until then, Im maxing out my high scores.

In comparison to Angry Birds. Angry Birds is so much better and more challenging. Siege Hero is OK and you can sit there for a little while to play but I feel it's too easy. ( suppose you can say it's a good game for the younger ones). I always believe wen you have a game like "ANGRY BIRDS" which is a WINNER, you can't beat it. I feel people need to stop trying and come up with a new concept rather than trying to replicate an existing one. I'm sure my niece and nephews will enjoy this version (Siege Hero) as Angry Birds was too challenging for them. My apologies to the developers if I have offended them.  for creating an app my niece and nephews will play and I'm sure will enjoy.

Fantastic Game. This is (as my title says) a fantastic game. Great for any Angry Bird fan. In my opinion, Siege Hero is better than Angry Birds. The game play is a bit easier than Angry Birds, but if you want to get gold on all 63 current levels, it's actually quite hard. I love the graphics and overall design of everything. Siege Hero has huge potential with future updates, (In the upcoming level 'Age of Discovery' there will be Spanish conquistadors!) Well worth the $1.19. Hope this review inspires you to buy this app!

Addictive!. Addictive on so many levels. Once you have cleared a level, you can go back until you have succeeded in doing it in the least amount of turns possible. This can be frustrating but oh, so rewarding when you finally work out the engineering fault that will allow you to win. Can't wait for the pirate level. Game on!

Similar concept and graphics BUT the big difference is that it takes a lot of the guesswork and pure luck trying to hit something out, and replaces that by actually having to think how and where exactly to place the shots in order to solve the puzzle! Siege Hero. This game is addictive, we ended up with a family challenge. I won. I recommend you try it now. Can't wait for the next chapter! Loving going back and finding different ways to complete levels. Age of heroes is a lot harder but so far i am number one. Yay!

Truly addicted. I've had this game since the beginning and am still addicted. Keep coming back to it and always looking forward to the updates. Some levels are really tough but most are very do-able but require experimentation and thought. Just the right balance for me. The new 'trials' are just as good though one level was super easy requiring 2 weapons when 4 (I think) were available. Top stuff guys. Keep it up!!

Brilliant new style of angry birds. Love this game, loads of levels and i'm up to 4 different weapons so far. I hope the creators keep making levels. On this game you get a zoom in screen so you can hit right where you want to unlike angry birds where sometimes its pull back and hope.

Better than Angry Birds. Sorry to make the same old comparison but I feel I must. Angry Birds is more fun to begin with but it becomes extremely frustrating because getting good scores is at least 90% luck while Siege Heroes is at least 90% skill. All it needs now is more levels (hint hint nudge nudge).

More or less "Angry Crush the Castle". A much simpler version of Angry Birds. The simple point and fire mechanic makes gameplay faster and easier to go through levels. Another difference is that the main strategy behind every level is to create a domino effect instead of straight up crushing everything. It feels a tad redundant to be constantly firing at corners, but it's easy to look over and continue to enjoy.

I've replayed all games- then went back and replayed to get all the gold. It's fun and it makes you think about weak points and load bearing.... Ideas for new levels. 1.make more elabrate areas like more chain reactions, but not really obvious ones 2.Maybe a gun shot to shot at a character if you have trunle geting to them 3.explosives you can plant on walls and detonate them when your ready 4.moltoves with a small explosion and some fire And thats just some ideas

Addicting. I hurried through all of the levels thinking this was too easy before I realized that I was not taking any time to really focus on using as few steps as possible to achieve gold crowns. Now going back through to clean up my hurried completions leaves me wanting more and more new challenges to conquer. Can't wait for new levels to come out.

BEST GAME EVER. The game has amazing 2D graphics, and uses real life physics to test your mind to the limit. It has so many levels and is so much fun that you'll never be able to put it down until you beat the whole thing. I played this game for a week and stayed up until around 4-5 a.m. every night playing this game until I beat it. I hope the Age of the Pirates will come soon!

Great game. Unassuming and simple at first but you just can't seem to put it down. I love the levels that have the moving parts and you have to act quickly or lose. Can't wait to see what's in the new installment- hope there are exploding cactus, rail road bridges and tumble weeds. The tumble weeds should cushion a fall, so you have to burn them before in a strategic way.

Better than angry birds! Here's why:. You get to focus more on the physics of how the structure will collapse, rather than trying to make your bird land in the right place. This game is addicting and I hope there are more levels to come! Way to go on the new pirates update! Can't wait for more, especially since I just got gold on all the levels already!

Regarding the L22 update..... ....for the "unachievable" gold crown, I call foul. In fact the level 22 samurai level was one of the easier levels to achieve the gold crown prior to the update. Makes you wonder what the REAL reason for the "update" was.....pulled a star off of the formerly 5 star rating because of this shenanigan..... From earlier: in a sea of puzzler game apps, Siege stands tall. Fun, addicting, challenging. I put it right up there with my other top tier puzzler, Pin-o-Cannon.

Hurry up with age of cowboys!. Similar in style to Angry Birds but a hundred times better to play. The general theme and all ghat hirs with it is just plain cooler and more interesting. It's addictive and thoughtful without being too hard. I like how you can just pass a level, or go for the gold in finishing it "perfectly". There are many levels too. Here's hoping for a sequel or at least additional levels 😃

A great new take on Angry Birds.. This game is Angry Birds with a twist. With one awesome difference. This game makes you think. You have to really think to find a weak spot it the bad guys fortress. You have to ask yourself, "if I hit it there, will the whole tower collapse and destroy all the bad guys?" Angry Birds with a cool new twist. I love it. If the developers keep adding and adding and adding levels, like the developers of Angry Birds do, than this could become better than Angry Birds!!!

Refreshing Game. I have to say I don't give many games but this one is awesome! This game is a combination between angry birds and crush the castle but with 2 different time periods 3 different campaigns within each. I have beaten the whole game but I keep playing it. Brilliant game.. This is one of the very few iPhone games that I actually like. I like the precision of physics they have used in this game and the idea of completing the level in the least number of shots is what always keeps me excited. Also there are so many different ways of clearing a single level with just a few combinations is just brilliant.

This game is great. Puzzle games are fun for people like me, who don't really want to sit down and play a game for 20 hours or whatever. Load it up, throw some rocks and a bomb, and gain a gold star. Or keep playing till you do. The graphics are good, the puzzles are challenging enough, and the sound effects are great for a laugh. I've been playing since Age of Discovery. And I can't wait for the next episode.

Awsome. Love the game, hours of fun. Would love to see new rocks like one that shoots two balls with a chain attached or a sticky bomb that doesn't explode but you can link them together and detonate on in the chain to blow others up. Like to have big towers that crumble and the mechanical swings catapults and the driving ones. Also maybe in game purchase-able upgrades from scores. Best of this type of game. It fixed everything that is annoying about this types of games. Easy to aim & shoot. Quick reload when you want to stop in the middle of a segment & try again. Every level can be completed at the highest level once you figure out how to do it. Lots of levels. Lots of fun.

Very good game. To me this is the best of this concept game. You actually get to pinpoint where you want your ammo to go, whereas versions like Crush the Castle (which is fun still) and Angry Birds (different dev I believe) you have to swing the catapult which creates a luck factor of if you let go at the right time. More strategy here in my opinion. I definitely want to see the Age of Pirates made, so please do! :)

Easy. Almost too easy. Great game for younger children. Only a few boards really were a challenge. Might be because I have played Angry Birds though, one day is all you need. Suggest: Build and share boards. Online or Bluetooth. Like crush the castle you can add a players pack.? Use coins to purchase upgraded hooks, acid, etc. Like angry birds eagle feather but instead of one shot you can change the 3 rocks to an acid, tar and hook as example to try and get max points.

A must buy. Okay I know everyone compares stuff to angry birds so I will try to avoid. The idea is very similar but instead of throwing across the screen from left to right it's like throwing into the screen like a first person shooter. The game runs well and has a very polished feel to it. This game will end up on the top 25 chart soon.

Creative, Challenging. By far the best of the tower assault genre for the iPhone. The creative use of motion and puzzle solving keeps the level designs challenging. Satisfying treasure levels are awarded at intervals far enough apart to make them feel well-earned but close enough together that they don't feel out of reach. The only problem with this game is that it needs more levels!

Pretty much identical to angry birds but.... I actually like this game more. It's more about being able to think about the solution, rather than aiming well. I think it would be really cool if there were a level editor that would let you build your own puzzles and let your friends play them. That'd add a lot of replayability, I think.

Better than Angry Birds. I bought into the hype that was Angry Birds over a year ago, and it honestly bored me and was very repetitive. This game is better, hands down. The first person view is brilliant, and solves the problem Angry Birds had which involved often aiming at things off-screen. This game is an obvious clone but builds upon the formula in all the right ways and comes off as an original concept on it's own merits. Highly recommended whether it's free or not.

The pirate theme which also took VERY long to come out, was really easy to beat, it only took me a week to beat it. There should be levels worth waiting months for..

NUMBER 1NEEDS A SEQUEL. Needs more ages like you could have a ww2 age where u defeat the Nazi's, a hippie age where you defeat the hippies ( really not the best one) but it would be neat to see all the cool outfits in full retina, and perhaps like the future ages of space invaders, a lot could be achieved!!! Keep it going!!! Or even better, classic monster stages... Frankenstein, dracula, werewolf, mummy, ghost, robots,...etc. That could be a halloween collection and do a christmas collection.... ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES 

Good, but could be better.. I like the game very much, but I finished it in one evening and found myself wanting to be given the chance to do the levels again with either all weapons or my choice. Crush the castle was good in that respect. I would like to see a finished product all the way around and not be left feeling like I have to wait for the next installment as you do with this one. Overall, I suppose it was worth a buck.

Very fun!!!. Right up there with angry birds.. it's got that "just one more level" vibe and before you know it...you're hooked. One small gripe to the developers, PLEASE don't make us pay for achievements!!!! 5 buster bombs + .99 cents does not = achievement. The very word means you accomplished something....not purchased it, the game isn't that hard to clear without them!!!

The new angry birds. I love this game. It's so addicting I can't stop playing. It's like angry birds but with more accurate shooting and more control of your target. I highly recommend it. It has a bunch of levels and it really tests your brain and problem solving. I love it. You should try it after all it's FREE! so give it a go and try to put it down once you start playing....... Best Game!. My husband and I both love this game and agree that it's the best iPhone game we've played! Its perfect to play while in the waiting rooms at the dentist/doctor/DMV if you have the sound off. For me, I prefer the slow strategy-based games so this is perfect for me. My husband can play those fast-paced games, but he's waiting for the next level of this game so he can get back to his favorite game.

Fun distraction!. Love the 1st person view, and others are right, it is addictive! It's not too hard, so moves pretty fast, which is good -- I don't mind having to try several times to get the gold crown, but don't like getting stuck on one level for too long either. Truly a FIVE STAR App. There is good reason everyone is rating this app so highly. It's fun and challenging (but not overly difficult). Unlike Birds, where you can spend hours trying to pass hard levels, this game gives you the ability to have perfect aim. So the harder levels are completed not by hit or miss, but by figuring out the solution to the physics puzzle. Good stuff.

Plush2.0. I think it's a cool game. Needs many updates. Maybe a rush mode where you have to throw stuff at falling objects and enemies but not hit villagers. Or some kind of tetris like mode where wood and stone, etc. Start falling and then you have to destroy blocks to keep knocking it down before it hits a certain height, highscores can be fore both of these. Maybe even a creation mode to create ones and then we can have user created levels for hours more fun. Even submission contests. Like I said, fine game, but it's not at it's full potential.

Addictive, yet sometimes annoying. Strangely addictive game, but at times the physics and the fussiness about having to make the perfect shot can be annoying. The physics is strange with some broken blocks where you have to ask "There's no way that little sliver is holding up the whole structure." The fussiness of making the perfect shot comes to play on certain levels where only being a pixel off to one side or another prevents you from getting the gold. Not quite Angry Birds, but an interesting diversion.

A+++++ game!!!!. This is one if those apps that is a must buy!! Don't hesitate! Buy immediately!!! The concept is familiar in other games, but I love how you can aim your shot and the different types of shots go directly at the target, instead of from left to right. Plenty of levels to start and more to come.... Well worth your time and money!!! Take care all!!

Awesome Game!!!. I have been telling everyone about this game. I couldn't stop playing till I had all of my Gold Crowns. And now I want to go back and get better scores. I can't wait for the next level to come out. With it being pirates maybe some water cannons that do something or even a shot gun shot that shoots a lot of smaller pellets over a wider area. (something a little more than just the three shots).

Angry birds ish. Very similar to angry birds; menus, popups, level selection, level design are all nearly identical to ab. Big difference is you hit what you aim at, no struggling to get the forth bird to fly through a 1 pixel wide gap. This should open up seriously tricky puzzles down the road though these levels were all pretty easy. Scoring seems unbalanced, unthrown rocks count for way too much. Also without ballistic flight it's not scratching my cave man instincts. All in all, solid bucks worth.

Addicting In every way!. I downloaded this because it was free and I enjoyed their castle game. I was excited to find out that it held the same enjoyment as some popular games out there as well as keeping the interface user friendly and humorous. I would like to see a level editor and practice mode option. Other than that- Keep up the great work!

Angry Birds meets Crush the Castle. I enjoy the fling-something-at-something-and-destroy-it games such as Angry Birds and Crush the Castle, so I thought I would like this. Indeed, I do! Instead of using a slingshot or trebuchet/catapult, in this game your finger is the launcher! Hurl various stones, explosives, and liquids at structures to eliminate the enemies. The levels are relatively easy, so you'll find yourself playing through many levels at a time. Lots of fun!
