Big Bug...I'm Uninstalling. I was starting to enjoy this game until I realized hearts/lives were not regenerating passed the first heart/life slot if the app is not open, even though there is a timer ticking down. I'm sure this is an "accidental" bug that they will "fix" soon. But in the mean time you can go ahead and purchase more lives....This tactic is very apparent and very dirty.... I've tried keeping the app running in the background and closing it completely, nothing. The only way is to leave the app open and the iPad on (no sleep mode). No thank you, uninstalling now.

Heyy, it's pretty good. I have only played a couple of matches and so far it seems to be a very well developed game. The graphics make the game look great while having a fun experience, slicing your way through monsters. I would recommend this game to anyone who wants to play for a long time, seeing how many levels there are, it would take quite a while to complete this game.

Must play. Addicting

Fun combat match3 game. The game is simple to play and essentially free to play. I bought gems purely as a way to show my appreciation to the developers. Some levels require a bit of grinding but often it was more a question of finding the right combination of stuff. Arena combat has good gameplay but the matching algorithm needs some tweaking. I like that I can skip my first fight for free when it's 8 levels higher than me and I understand the dynamic of having to pay to skip my second match but often this just made me participate in my own slaughter. Things I want in the future include the ability to earn gems and the ability to use gems to buy iron. I'm also looking forward to more map levels!

Quite good.. I'd definitely recommend this game. It's fun, simple, easy to use, doesn't have a bad energy system, and it's something quick. A great game all around.

Awesome game!. I love this game so much it is a great thing to play when your bored! You should definitely download this game if you like games that have a story to them unlike games like clash of clans or boom beach. I can't even wait to see if they come out with a second one because I would download instantly! One thing that I don't like is the amount of characters you can play as, but other than that I recommend this game to everyone

Just Starting Out. This game is great so far! It uses lives instead of "stamina" and you can grind previous levels for coins & xp. Interesting mechanics that allow for both chain style matching and then cascade bonus matches- just enough of a change to make me stop and think about my moves.

Fun and difficult. Love this game. You don't need to spend money just so PVP to get great rewards. Don't underestimate stats!

Great game but there's a glitch. This game is pretty fun and stuff, you know! But there's a problem with the map that shows stages 1-7. The problem is that the stage doesn't load, all you see are the couple of sheep, the stage numbers, and a black background. And for some reason when I try swiping up, it won't go up and instead it glitches out. PLEASE fix this!

Love the crabby! Not too shabby!. Great work by Armor Games here. I haven't played one of these mobile games that had such a nice story before. The introduction of many RPG elements really hooked me on this one. You actually have to "THINK" for once about your battles and make sure you are outfitted properly with your most effective animal companions.

This game is just amazing!. I highly suggest it to anyone who wants to enjoy a game. It’s very addictive and you will want to play for hours on end. Anyways this game is great and I love the creators of it!!!!

They haven't updated levels in months!. There are times I win a battle & my phone locks up. It doesn't give me the credit for the win or reimburse what you lost to battle. They have deleted my second hero twice & I lost everything when switching sometimes it deletes your character & you can't get it back. There is no delete button if you want to delete a character either. They haven't upgraded. I cannot go any further with my character until they make more levels. Outside of that, The game is fun easy to learn & addictive to play. Upgrade fighting gear for both your character & your fighting pets! I Gave it a 2 until revisions are made to 5 star standards.

Please develop more content!. I love this game and have been playing it for years! I don’t know how many active players there are anymore, but I hope the developers consider continuing the Emetteoe campaign. I think this game has a strong foundation worth expanding, and I would be willing to pay money (not a subscription) for additional content. Ideas for improvement: * A marketplace to buy special gear, either using coins or gems * Ability to change gear or abilities on pets for arena battles * Ability to use pets in campaign battles * Ability to reassign level up points after the fact Just some ideas… I gave it 5 stars even without all this!

Eh. Eh. It's ok I seem to only face the same five or six people in the arena no matter how I do. So it's getting boring.

Great game! but.... This game is amazing! I haven't found an app on the App Store that I've loved in the first few levels, so this game is doing something right. The game play is addicting and the story is funny and well written. However I do have a few complaints. My first is that occasionally when I go back to previous levels and defeat the monsters, in stead of the final screen I get a pop up stating that "Your progress was lost". I'm not sure if it's the game or my phone but I thought it was strange. Another thing is I hope in the future they add in actual fighting animations rather than the fairly basic ones they have now. For example maybe the Knight could swing its sword when it attacks? Other than that it's a great game.

Crash. So I played a hour with zero issues. Then I spent 2.99 for double coins since then....all it does is crash. After ever battle crash....even upgrading crash. So don't spend and you might be ok....such bs!

Great Gameplay, Can get repetitive. Enjoyable, addictive, at times aggravatingly repetitive. Makes you wish you could buy steel for equipment upgrades as well as buy jewels with gold. While the arena can be a blast, it often seems broken matching me with opponents 4-5+ my level so I'm not sure what that's supposed to accomplish besides frustration and lvl envy. The story's witty and fun, definitely worth playing every few days or else I burn out at trying to go too far too fast, which is not what this game is about, unless you have the cash to spend on flashy upgrades, I imagine! Looking forward to more levels in the future. :)

Love it!!!. It combines matching with fighting and a funny, easy to follow story line. Fun to do when you have some down time.

The game itself might 1) depend on luck (what kind of board you get) since everyone else has similar spec as you 2) Storyline is limited for now (6 normal, 6 iron) and the max level is 60, so there are not many contents other than playing arena. The developer seems to still update the game frequently, so there is a hope it will have more coming 4) Loading is a bit slow, and the loading screen can get annoying when moving from game, inventory, achievements, and maps. Might be better either if the screen isn't there, or at least for the inventory. - I love the story behind all this though! The characters are pretty well designed, the lines are hilarious, small things, and it's a cute little story! Totally worth it to spend time. Thank you developer for making such a game :)

Server problems. Was one match away from finally beating a level I've failed at 15+ times before. Popped up an error, kicked me out, and I lost all progress. Not the first time that's happened but it usually does it while loading something. Oh, and the loading is ridiculously slow. Often the levels take longer to load than they take to actually play through. (It is not a problem with my internet, it is for sure the game's server.)

Eh..... It's a fun game to a point but after a while they make it so hard to finish levels you just get frustrated with it. After you finish the first world it's gonna take a long time to do anything else in this game don't waste your time after the first world

Enjoyable Challenge. This game is very enjoyable, with a nice concept and story with loveable characters. The first campaign ending is very funny. However beating the final boss felt impossible unless i waited and saved up the gems but it was very much worth it and satisfying

Fun reminiscent of Pokemon. But the PvP (Arena) is not balanced and filled with bots. You are matched with opponents 5 -10 levels above you to get you to buy gems and spend money skipping opponents to find a poorly balanced bot to fight. The bots are pretty obvious. They are 50+level players who have never leveled up or changed their starting pet? ..and then have a bunch of duplicate equipment whose stats don't stack.. No human player gets that far doing that.

Fun and highly addictive but. If I try to play an ad for the free gems my phone locks up and the ad doesn't play or come back to the game screen. It is stuck on a black screen. If I close and reopen the app it will restart just fine but there are no rewards for watching the ad. Please look into it!

Gameplay seems fun, but big problem. The touch response is so sensitive I can't even make a long string without it changing the direction every time. I tried slowing down with no effect. It should be intuitive that you are staying on the same color you started with; especially since you can use 3D Touch to see the best path. But, it thinks I want to go from blue to green every single time. Even worse is that all of the initial level monsters are weak to water, but strong to earth. Game deleted!

Fantastic fun. Aside from the rogue attack based character being overpowered in the arena, this game is super fun, and a great time. Though there are times you have to grind, it never feels boring. And, although I've always hated the concept of "lives" in mobile games, I very much appreciate that lives recharge after only 10 minutes. Overall, one of my favorite apps!

Where Are You Guys?. Love the game. Love the snappy repartee. But for cryin out loud, would you add the next world already?

Gem hunters is a great game for people who like challenging games but games that aren't to hard to play also it's not pay to win and the arena battles are very fun because you play with thousands of players for awesome prizes The jokes throughout the game are hilarious and i have had no problems running the game All and all the game is amazing I highly recommend it.

Just recommend this one. This is a easy and fast game to kill time. I would always spend a few minutes playing it every day.

Great Game; however,. This game is addictive and fun. You will get to a point that you cannot win battles without spending $, or spending a lot of time fighting in the arena to level up powers. It will put your character against 3 others in one match. Those characters will all have more life points than you do, and you only get your life points against all three. Each character starts their match with full life while you are drained. I just don't enjoy games that force me to spend a lot of $ just to move on.

Great game. I don't normally leave reviews but I felt this game really deserved one. It's a lot of fun. Its not difficult to learn and the color matching is a lot like other apps out there, but there's strategy as you equip your character and there's an entertaining story as you move through levels. The arena area is great way to earn experience points and move up levels. Vey fun game and I can't wait to see what the developers come up with next as they expand the game.

Great game.. First off, I never go out of my way to write a review. However, this game is the closest I've got to completely free. It doesn't require in game purchases, it isn't hard to acquire in game currency for the paid purchases, it doesn't exactly limit you to how long you can play, and it never has crashes or performance issues. The only issue, if you even want to call it an issue... It just goes from kinda hard to insanely brutal all at once. Lol. But very good game! Give it a chance.

Fun Game but Some Issues. The puzzles are really fun, the graphics are clean and cute and we love grinding to get the items and levels. It has a lot of potential but we wish there was a website that listed all the items or talked about statistics or tips for the game. Otherwise, I'd recommend this game because it's just so fulfilling to beat a monster. Please make more levels!

Amazing but needs improvement... Although this game is very fun and unique, I wish the developers would make it easier for the players to earn gems. In this game 20 gems is equal to $1.99 USD and in the game, you can only resurrect two times... It's a rip-off. And the free 2 gems doesn't even work for me. It always tells me to check later and see if it works. I waited for a long time but it won't even work. Please fix this! - Carly

Thoroughly Enjoying. I'm having fun playing the game. The concept is easy enough to understand. I don't understand all of the different ways to use my items and I wish when you were battling multiple characters, you would start with a full life after killing each character. By the time you get to the second or third character, you are usually out of life. Might be something to consider for a future release.

Awesome. Update: The game is not finished!!! The developers apparently forgot all about this game. Which is a shame because it’s pretty good. Old school RPG with fun graphics and a nice story. Be prepared to grind a lot for higher scores in the later levels. You’ll need to upgrade equipment. My only complaints are- if you accidentally skip part of the story, it’s gone for good and the upgrades cost too much vs what an enemy may drop. Still, I’m going to keep playing! And I’ve finished what is there. Wish they’d cared enough to complete this!

Addictive and Fun!!. Very few games last on my list...they usually get deleted after a day or two because most of them are repetitive, boring, and share the same ideas and quality as most successful games out there. But Gem Hunters is so awesome! So addicting, so true to its nature and really quenches my thirst to always continue forth! It has been on my list for over a week now and I plan on never deleting it until I finish it all...even so I might just keep it haha thank you! 5/5 stars from me! 👏👏👏

Phenomenal Game. Very few games last more than a day or 2 until they are deleted. I honestly adore this game and will most definitely recommend it to others. My only problem is the bug which involves the hearts not regenerating after the first one. The timer seems to only start when the player is active in the game. Overall, this is a great game :)

Almost great. So the game itself is fun and pretty easy to understand. The game is a lot of fun and doesn't really require you to play to win. My only problem with the game is its weird difficultly curve. The game starts off easy and levels you except to be hard are hard but then some levels are just unfairly difficult and it requires you to grind in previous levels and in the arena which isn't all bad just annoying at times. I mean I understand why you have to grind it's an rpg after all but still the difficulty curve it just random

Fun and chill. I like this game because it is a good way to kill time. Many would say the game is based on luck of the board. But I have learned that there is a definite dependency on skill and forethought. It is still simple enough that it does not get in the way of any regular life activities. Whilst the storyline is simple I find it quite witty and amusing. I would like to see more worlds open up to continue the fun. Update: A new world was released with a plot twist! I love it!! I can't wait for the next world to be released! :))

Awesome Game. I like this game because of the different stats, characters, spirit animals, the 4 different attack types like lightning, basically I like everything about the game except how does the points in the arena work?

Good but.... This is a fun game. I enjoyed all seven levels that I could play. That, however,vid where the problem lays: I couldn't scroll past the seventh level. Whenever I tapped the map that I think was supposed to be there, it just went black, and when I released, it went back to the map, which wasn't a map at all, but rather a pure black background with the levels on it. Yes, I have tried re-downloading it, twice in fact, but it still won't work. I will get this game once again once this bug has been fixed. Good day

Experience bug. My exp bar went from the original game getting 3k when I need 20k for a lvl. Now I only get 100-200 exp per mission or arena battle. Please fix this bug would love to give 5 stars but I can't with this bug. Good job on the game devs! (Not sarcastic!)

Won't open. I have not been able to play this game once because it wont open. It always says it is logging in but never does which is upsetting because it looks like a pretty good game.

Scrolling stages doesn't work. Stages disappear when I try to scroll for more. My screen only shows up to about 7. Please fix this or tell me how to fix it if my phone is the problem. I really like the game otherwise.

Truly Artful - Best Game I've Ever Had on iOS. I'm so impressed with this game already. The dialogue is very entertaining, the gameplay is dynamic, and there are tons of components in the game to keep it engaging, like equipment, upgrades, the arena, and varied characters. Can't load.. The game looks awesome, but I cannot open it. It's stuck on the loading screen. Just thought I'd point that out.

Death by ads. Fun game, simple design but the ad spam is annoying. Turn the ad frequency down to 1 every 4-5 mins and 4stars.

Ads crash game. When I watch an ad to get something it just shows a black screen. Sometimes if I'm lucky it'll play but I can't exit the ad. Nice developing, forcing me to pay you to get better items, or continue after a cheap boss with 5000 health at Level 10.

Just 1 bug. Really like the game but if you forget to close the app and your iPad goes to sleep the timer stops for regen-ing lives. So a full day later you still won't have any. Works fine if the app is closed (which of course I keep forgetting to do). Please fix.

Fun but..... This game does NOT refill lives properly. Overnight I gain one life, instead one life every 30 minutes. It doesn't matter whether I leave the app open, close it or force-close it...always the same.

Gameplay itself is not bad, but so much tech issues. Simple casual gameplay. However, rather frequent server crash, long loading time and arena is super unbalanced.

Nothing Special. I'm a little confused as to why I found this game in the card game section of the App Store. It's a cute little matching game, nothing more and nothing less. If you're into that kind of game then feel free to download and have a blast. But if you aren't a fan of the genre, it'll turn you off as it did me.

Charming and fun. An interesting take on the match three genre. The RPGs elements makes strategy and combo moves more important. I like to grind level ups so the difficulty curve suits me. But I wouldn't mind paying for power ups just to help the developers.

Love it. I'm not one who prefers games where I connect gems and such, but I truly enjoy this one. The story line behind it adds to the game, the graphics are good, it is challenging but not too hard and progresses, and there are a nice variety of levels/worlds.

Fantastic game but one bug issue. I got this game three days ago & enjoyed it so much for the games RPG lvl-ing style, combat structure, and overall function of strategy/luck. This game also contains ads like mother. ( 1ad every 3 tries) I personally enjoyed it so much that I purchased item from the app to get rid of the ads. ( 2xCoin one ) My only issue is that my game keeps crashing after each lvl ( saves progress but still annoying). So I updated and now it crashes every time I started level. PLEASE Fix This BUG

Solid but.... Fun and interesting, but with no heal or block options in combat you have to relay on the rng of which gens you get to decide if you win or lose... Because you only have so much hp.

Great game. I like this game for many reasons... You can pay to play but you don't have to- the story line is witty and funny and although it can take awhile- if you're patient- you can earn the things you need...I love earning a variety of weapons an figuring out how to best use them

Broken Map. This might be a bit repetitive, but the map's breaking for me too. I tried deleting and redownloading the app, but that didn't work. Other than that, I like the design and story, and it's a lot of fun to play.

Great Game, But Game Breaking Glitch. This is a great game and I sincerely enjoy it, but I'm now stuck on level 8 on the first world, since the background is now textureless ( it is just a black background ) and whenever I touch the screen it resets under the map ( it resets to how it is supposed to be afterward ) meaning swiping up is impossible, since the aforementioned effect keeps on occurring. Please fix this glitch. Thank you.

Fun until the 3rd world. The game has a solid premise, and it's certainly fun. However, there comes a point where the levels are brutally unfair and it's impossible to continue unless you mindlessly grind in pvp which is also bull**** and with a pay-to-win system implemented, you'll hardly win a match past a certain level. From fun to frustrating in a matter of hours.

I am unstoppable (just kidding). Fun fighting game with no blood. I find it easy to see the best play on the board but not easy to figure out where the stones will fall. Small gripe about the last update: I think the pets make bouts less fun.

Fun!. So far the game has been quite engaging yet simple. If you enjoy simple matching games with an rpg element then give this a try! The game scales quickly but overall it is very manageable.

Fun to play but can be a little repetitive. Half of the game is matching blocks but the other half is developing a strategy to beat the enemy. There isn't enough variety in enemies. I agree with previous reviews a little better character animation would go a long way. All in all the game is very well made and it's has tons of potential

Really good game but.... Gem hunters is by far one of the best games I've played so far. I think it's a really good game and I know it has a lot of potential in further updates. But I've been having trouble signing in to Game Center and as a result I couldn't log into (play) gem hunters. Please fix! Other than that 5 STARS!!

Good but needs work. The gameplay keeps you coming back for more but the despair time for hearts are way too long. Also needs to add more characters.

Great game. Just a little unclear how all the stats work, what does magic do? And I don't seem to find much use for the spirit animals

Adorable action game. The graphics are cute and the ads aren't too annoying. The gameplay is fun; I like puzzle/gem matching games, and this is a fun twist on it. And I'm a big fantasy fan, so this is right up my alley.

Little gameplay, and much grind.. The simplest level of match three gameplay I've experienced, and the highest level of grind. And the PVP is a joke; even the PVP is no more than grinding. All the right elements are there, but it's crafted with the least amount of effort necessary to create a platform to accrue In App Purchases, and is not fun - even as a distraction.

Crashing Issues. I have been crashing every time I have reached the in-game loading screen. Reason being that this isn't a one star review because I didn't have this issue before and the game was very enjoyable. I use an iPad 4 and I hope this problem can be solved soon.

Good so far.... Battles get a little more difficult around world 3 or so (without spending $ for chests), but fun so far... Not sure the benefit of friending people yet, but if you'd like to find out with me, my ID is d0ef772f

Super fun and addictive. Very simple yet incredibly addicting. Very few games hold my attention but I can't stop playing this one. Easy to play for extended periods of time without having to spend money. Highly recommended!!!

It's not so bad.. This is actually a pretty fun game to pass the time. I wish there were more classes of characters to play with. Also, I'd love to see some different kinds of gems to match, maybe add light and dark magic?!? Overall though, it's a fun game!

love the game. the game is awesome. love the concept. it's simple but still keeps you wanting more. only thing I would change, is new/different enemies for new regions. but I also have never made an app before so what do I know.

fun. really fun game. it's quite fun to fill up time if you need to. only issue I have is that some of the fights can be way too hard. and a lot of the arena fights are pay to win.

Looked fun- big bug on map & can't play. Enjoyed playing this game to level 9, but since the ads came, the map is buggy and won't let me scroll. Now that I've played all the levels available without scrolling on the map, I literally can't play further. Don't know what to do, but I'll have to delete if it doesn't resolve. Reboot of app didn't help.

Great wonderful story. My goodness the music the art the story all very well developed The only problem I have with it is the ads in between quests! Very annoying and ruins the game but aside from that beautiful game

Don't believe the hype. It's a "money grab" game. I'm not sure why so many are praising this game, it's "ok" at best. The gameplay mechanics are familiar, so nothing to figure out. It has a tournament feature as well (don't get your hopes up on placing without some heavy real world spending.) The randomization of the incoming tiles are suspect, they always seem to give you the tiles you need the least after winning one or two games.

Slide to Smash. The game overall is very fun. The turn based system is very interesting, because one turn you can deal a lot of damage, but when you are HP critical, there isn't many damage-dealing options to choose from. All and all, makes a good game to keep.

Awesome!. This game is amazing, I love how instead of just little buffs you get "spirit animals" that are so cute and awesome, and I would give this four stars saying I'd love to see more updates but they already have new areas coming soon. Five stars!

really liked what I was able to play!. I was able to play up to level 8, but the map seems to be broken and I'm unable to scroll to later levels. I really enjoyed those first 8 levels and would definitely raise my review if I could continue. hopefully they fix this soon.

Very great game!!!. The innovative puzzle-like battle system combined with 3d touch makes for awesome gameplay! Just one thing though, since the title says "Gem Hunters", the player should have the 3 playable characters, be able to name them and out them in battle order. Other than that, this game is awesome!

Scrolling bug. I love the game but I have this one problem that is annoying me so badly! WHAT IS UP WITH THE MAP SCROLLING! Other people are having the same problem as me and I am on a IPhone 4 and I can't move on to other levels because the scrolling is messed up! Please fix this bug so we can go on to the other levels in the game than get trapped in one section of the game!!!

Fun, crazy adventure!. I love this game! Everything from the sound, the art, the gameplay, and the humor is very fun and appealing. The response of the game is also very smooth and speaks to the high quality of this game. It's a bit addicting, but that's a good thing when it comes to games 😝 Play this game! More animation and detail. HI I think the game is great I spent $30 on it but i thin that your character should move his arm when he attacks and also when you equip hin you should see the armor on him same with sword also i think that your pets should float beside your character. Great game. Very addicting, would give it 5 stars but in the arena you have to wait 4-5 hours just to see if you moved up or down in ranks instead of it instantly changing.

Fun, but not many levels. Could use more levels. Needs more items or gems. Pay to play.... Meaning if you want to get good gear to beat levels you will have to put money in.

Login issue. Basically there is a login issue after the latest update for this app. It will forever say it's logging in but won't. Sad because it's really such a fun game. I was on the 5th level too😪

Fun game!. So far it's a pretty good game except for the fact that I can't scroll on the map so I can't move on. Other than that I like it but I can't move on without scrolling to the other levels. I don't know if it's jut something wrong with my phone or anything like that but I wish I could continue.

Super fun!. This game is really fun! The storyline is very cute (although I am somewhat traumatized by the end of the Radiant Gorge lol) and the arena feature is also fun and a great way to get more XP before facing difficult levels. I hope a new chapter is on its way soon!

Pay to win, broken arena system. The game concept are great but the pay to win make this game bad. The arena system broken, i always fight against people 6-15 lvl ahead. Ex: im lvl 20 and the system always match me up with lvl 26->35, how am i suppose to win? 1 or 2 lvl ahead are hard enough, but 6 or 15 lvl, consider you get 11 point each lvl, 6 lvl = 66 point ahead, that hug advantages, how come i beat them? Im rank 467 now if you wondering.

Awesome game. This game was amazing and I love all the different collectibles in the game. I real hope you continue the game I would love to play more levels. 👍👍

Great game. I've never liked these kinds of games, but this one is incredible. Definitely becoming one of my favorite games. I do have one suggestion, though. In the next update, I think it would be cool to be able to duel your friends

Addictive. All the way around it has it's ups and downs. The matching in the arena is off. Been playing for a couple days, I am lvl 10 and it's putting me up against lvl 17 and up. Other then that great game.
