Excellent Pseudo-Retro Fun. I wish this game was more expensive so I could give the developer more of my money. THAT'S HOW GOOD IT IS.

Awesome Game. This game is worth every penny. Very fun. Great sound effects. Would buy part two if it manifested itself. Lot's of old school arcade feel here.

Not a bad little game.. Very nostalgic and fun. Got better after last update. Here are some suggestions for next update: 1. Bigger maps and monsters. Some of us dont have as good a vision. Perhaps a Big Mode? 2. Self-playing mode. Would make a nice visual while just listening to music. And an option to turn sound fx off. 3. Pipboy mode. Simple vector graphics. 4. Cameo by Pac-man. Or Dig-Dug. The game practically has Centipede already in it. Anyways, great game.

Awesome, but.... I love this, don't get me wrong, but I only wish the pixels in the graphics were sharper. That's all I ask.

Fantastic retro game. I bought this game when it first was released and I still come back to it. Lots of originality in gameplay but the fun sounds and graphics will immerse you in a retro wonderland.

PLEASE UPDATE OS 11 😭. THIS little gem would've been a far better PacMan! I rarely get hooked on games and I tend to lose interest rather quickly, so I usually spend a few minutes playing here or there. With Forget Me Not, I've been saying "one more time" for the last hour and I'm not ready to call it a night yet :) There's something special here and it's certainly worth downloading!

Why just why. Game club literally took the game and ruined it with subscriptions. This game used to be fun to play back when you collect the flowers to unlock other game modes but oh no you have to pay for them now. Game club is a joke and is literally EA under a different name

Gee. Plenty of fruit and food to be eaten here. Flowers too. FMN looks plays and sounds like a pure genuine 80s arcade game most similar to Mr Do or Pacman. It's got more to it with randomly generated levels, shooting, keys, potions multiple game modes and more. This keeps it very fresh and interesting. It's simple yet deep and very addictive. The thing you won't find in other iOS games other than classic arcade ports is this forgotten balance of collecting food and avoiding bad guys the way FMN does it. I love it I was worried about the controls before playing it but I have to say it works fine. The character kind of has a slide to his turns so it works well with swiping. It won't be as good as an actual joystick of course but it's still so much fun. It takes up very little space and I don't know if it's perfect but it might be one of the only games you need on your device if you can stand the retro style.

Bad.. The reason this game gets a low score for me is due to the fact that my own gun is what kills me every time. My own weapon shouldn't be my worst enemy. It should be what helps me. Would look way better if it was full screen too. Every time I lose its due to my gun shooting myself. 3 lives only and you have to start completely over?? Lol Boooo.

Seriously AMAZING. It is so much fun my one complaint is that you can't turn the screen sideways on iPhone other than that it is amazing

Great game worth playing again and again.. A great retro-arcade game with tons of surprises and replayability. I've been playing this game on and off for about a year now, and have a respectable spot on the scoreboards, but today, on a very early level, I stumbled across a new monster type I'd never seen before. So much random procedurally-generated goodness. This game just never gets old.

Crashes. This game is terrific - when it doesn't crash back to the home screen. I am running the most current iOS for the iPhone 4s, so it isn't my device. And out of 10 times opening the app, it crashes 7 or 8 of them. I e-mailed the developer and he responded which is nice, that he is involved still, but that was back in March and no update…

Fun !. If you like Pac-man, shooting and puzzle solving you will like this game.

I loved this game way back when I bought it, BUT.... ...it was bought, originally, as a one time purchase. The sale and subsequent “subscription revenue model” for game club are a deal breaker for me. Not because I object to subscribing, outright, but because of the sense of a broken promise. Once sold as an indefinite license, it should remain an indefinite license. I have a budget for subscriptions and I’m not spending that budget on anything that breaks a promise. Because ... why would I? The number one issue with subscription models is trust, and if the trust is already broken from the outset, that’s a problem. There are ways to rework this such that purchasers of the original game aren’t forced into the subscription. It’s implementable in the AppStore, and I’ve seen it work. This then constitutes an unforced error on Game Club’s part, having purchased it from the former developer.

Awesome game. I love this game I play like every day. Sometimes I just get really mad at it but I still like it .so maybe sometime you should play because it is a really great game

Very happy that early customers still have access. I LOVED this game on my old iPad, so was thrilled to see it updated in the App Store, and to see that early customers are able to unlock access to it.... much appreciated. It’s a great game for picking up here and there as a boredom buster.

Brilliant. Looks, plays, sounds, and feels like a long-lost classic arcade game. This is one of the App Store's greatest sleeper hits and is pure bliss.

Great with or without iCade. 2-player FMN on iCade is great: two simultaneous players! One on joystick, one with inverted-T "cursor keys" using the iCade buttons. Try this with Arena mode. Don't forget to "grind the walls" (try to turn before you really can) to charge your power... I always forget that...

Super fun, but not available for new softwares.. This is one of the games that I have enjoyed most and I couldn’t stop playing it when I had a couple free minutes. I hope they do the new update for the latest versions of iOS.

Great Retro Arcade Game. Awesome game. Love the randomized levels and the retro look and feel. Unfortunately, a bug with this game and its game center implementation causes it to crash on launch unless I'm in airplane mode.

A Masterpiece. So nice to see this back on the App Store and updated for new devices and operating systems. If you bought this back in the day, like all GameClub games, you can download and play it without joining the service. You will need to create an account but they can’t charge you.

An action-adventure classic. A fiendishly inventive mix of Pac-Man maze action with Rogue-like adventure. This plays like some long-lost Atari 800 or 7800 classic from 1984, or one of Jeff Minter's Llamasoft hits, and captures perfectly that simple complexity of classic video games. Always challenging, always surprising, and always compelling. An iOS classic!

Twas love at first sight.... I have to say right off the bat: I thought this game was amazing within the first 30 seconds of starting it up. The controls and idea of the game are simple and easy to understand, yet, when going deeper, you truly understand the depth and complexity found within this game. Everything in this game is fun and thrilling. From keeping up a large point streak, to choosing which enemies to confront or avoid, this game is exiting to the last second of your play through. An absolute must have for anyone looking for excitement and fun in their iPhone game.

This game my phone a virus. This game gave my phone a virus when i first opened the app it gave me an alert "warning this game might slow down your iphone" then i deleted the game and went into my strings and all of a sudden my screen started glitching very bad...then my whole phone shut down and i had to take it to the apple store and get a new phone

Crazy awesome game!. This game is an interesting classic style game. The graphics are beautifully simple, as are the controls. The sounds are perfect :) Cons: •Needs achievements. •Ugly icon! With such cool graphics, why is the icon so unlike the game graphics? •More lives! I just started, but I don't think I'll be getting any more than 3 lives. more depth than most retro arcade games. There's a lot going on in what appears to be a simple little game. The author clearly put effort into keeping the game fresh and surprising, even after dozens of plays. Sometimes I fire it up for a quick play and run into something that I've never seen before, right there in the first level.

Seriously.... This is my first time to write a review for a game and I wouldn't be doing this unless I really really thought it deserved a recommendation. If you are a fan of puzzle type games. Tetris, lumines, PAC man, arcade games, etc. you will not be disappointed with this game. I read the reviews and even still was a little bit skeptical because I too think that some of these reviews are fake and bloated to make a game seem more popular. The developer/team or whoever made this game should be applauded. They got it right, its simply put a fantastic retro type feel, the game controls are simple, the gameplay is simple... I bought it and can't stop playing. Procrastination 1, me 0. :)

I remember. Seeing this title on the Internet with like a trial download or something. I tried it out and thought meh. Seeing it on the iPad i decided to grab it and I'm glad I did. Forget me not is one of the best and freshest old school style games you can find on the market.

It's more game than 1st meets the eye. Getting a long flower run is very satisfying. This plus many other elements make this game deeper than it first looks. Also if you have an iCade, this game is an absolute must!

Very impressive. Wow, this game is seriously impressive. It's like a long-lost Williams arcade machine from 1982. It's not just the pitch perfect graphics and sound, it's the depth of gameplay on offer here. Like any of those classic games, there's serious skill involved if you want to rack up a decent score. I found the swipe controls a little imprecise at first, but suddenly it clicks and you realize it was just your brain catching up. If you like classic arcade games like Pac-Man meets Tutankham this game is for you.

WOWZERS!. How is this not a top 10 game in the App Store? There’s no justice. Forget-Me-Not is a fantastically clever game that is perfectly implemented. More than just feeling like an arcade game from the 80’s, it could have been one. Moreover, had it been released into the arcades back in the day it would have been a HUGE hit. Forget-Me-Not is a quarter gobbler of the first degree. Grab it and let the good times roll.

Great but needs a fix. This is a very very fun arcade PAC-man style game. Well worth the money. The only problem that NEEDS to be fixed is the controls. They need to be more precise. PLEASE fix the controls!

Pac-Man meets Zelda. If you like the simplicity of Pac-Man but find it a bit repetitive, this game will make you happy. Generated levels, diverse baddies and a nuanced combat system improve on the classic while preserving its basic fun mechanic. The art and sound effects are also a perfect homage to the original.

Good but not that good. It is good but it is not worth what I paid for it.

Perfect neon-retro game. This game is perfect for those retro gaming lovers. I would like to see further updates with more gamecenter support (achievments) and more level elements to spice things up. Overall this is a must buy and is worth the price.

Retro done right.. This little gem of a game is easily worth the modest price. The graphics are a lovely old-school tribute with some nice color cycling. And the gameplay is just wonderful...although I shot myself several times before realizing own my bullets could wrap the screen and kill me. The "bad guy" variants are interesting and appear bit-by-bit. It's like Pac-Man meets Centipede meets Rogue, and it actually works splendidly. This one's a keeper. I have to go play now.

Perfect.. I have been a fan of nyarlu labs since 2006, back when I uploaded Magnetic Shaving Derby to my Nintendo DS flash card. I have fond memories of playing it and thinking it was the best homebrew game for the DS. But along came the iPhone and indie game development exploded. I was happy to see Magnetic Shaving Derby show up on the app store with a makeover and felt thrilled that the developer was still making games and standing out from the crowd much like he did with the DS. Now along comes Forget Me Not and wow. I am now a lifelong supporter of Nyarlu Labs. This game is amazing. Lots of talent and programming knowledge went into this game. Thank you.

Perfect Retro love letter. This game is seriously awesome. It's got that haunting, echoey sound design that would kinda freak me out as a kid. I have no idea if it's possible, but if you added support for the upcoming iCade it'd make for the perfect retro experience.

My favorite iOS game by far. A hybrid of pacman and a roguelike in a package that feels totally original, yet reminiscent of the arcade games of old. I play this game at least once a day and try to top my previous high scores. Thank you for making this lovely, delightful, polished game!

Great Re-imaging of Pac-man. This is fun game that takes the tried and true pac man formula and adds some new idea from other games like Gauntlet and Rogue. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a optional controls instead of just a swipe.

2nd review. I just need to stress that this is my favorite game of oodles of games on my iPhone. I have never been so floored by, so stuck on a game. A perfect amalgamation of my love for new age and retro gaming. I've been sharing this with all my gaming friends, and I love watching their eyes bug out.

Easily Makes my Top 3!. Folks, don't let the simplistic screen shots throw you off. THIS little gem houses a TON of addictive, varied, and extremely entertaining game-play. Something that simply can not be said about 90% of the games on any format including ios. Yes it has a maze and yes you collect dots (flowers), but that's where its relation to Pac-Man ends. Your character shoots in the direction he travels, and many enemies do the same. . There are goodies to collect like heal potions, keys, etc.. and a variety of monsters which have different personalities. Some may be harder to kill, others go out with a bang, taking down chunks of the maze and sometimes even kill each other! New levels introduce new dangers and more intricate mazes. The visuals are pure retro - but done so stylishly .. they actually look much better on an iPad then the screen shots shown above. I love the crazy retro sound effects - which adds a lot to the game! In a nutshell - this will be played LONG after games like Dead Space and Infinity Blade are put to rest in ios folders.

Excellent retro game. I bought this game on a whim, not knowing anything about it, and I'm sure glad I did! This game is awesome! It's kind of like Pac-Man but you shoot lasers and there's a lot more going on. The levels are randomly generated for endless gameplay. Good swipe controls, HD retro graphics, cool sound effects, fun gameplay. This is an excellent retro style game, highly recommended.

Love it after playing a few times. Of all the games I have this is the one that i keep coming back to. The first few times I played it I was not sure but then it sucked it me in, now I just want to keep playing. The levels are always different so each time is something new. I have never had this game crash on my iPad or iPhone 4 so I am not sure why someone reporting it crashing. Over all this is a game that will hook you if you give it a chance.

Deserves to be on "All-Time Greats" list!. Update: WE DID IT BRANDON!!! I was fortunate enough to have come across an article that had mentioned this game as one of the Best iOS Games Ever. The article was absolutely right but, unfortunately, 6 years has passed from it's release and billions of other games dawning the retro theme have been piled on since. Nevertheless, Forget.Me.Not is THE quintessential retro game for iOS and could possibly be the best ever in the history of the App Store. If you can imagine a gun wielding Pac Man in search of a key amongst the Ghosts who have many different cousins including a dungeon altering wizard...you'll understand the gameplay. The game itself is truly an experience that hearkens back to the quarter dropping days with all of it's neon-pixelated beauty, heart-pounding blips 'n' bleeps, and frantic levels. Multiple game modes and simultaneous two-player (on iPad AND iPhone) is an incredible bonus adding UNLIMITED gameplay. I especially love the fact that the two-player mode can be played competitively or cooperatively depending on the players' strategy. This game really is THE reigning retro champion! ***With this said, I'd like to request that this game be updated and respectfully featured please. This game deserves it and so does it's loyal fans.

One of my all time fav iPhone games. I never write reviews but want to say how much I like this game. The sounds are amazing! So cool... Sometimes I like to play just to hear the cool old synth sounds. The gameplay is great also. I wish this was available as a arcade PCB so I could put it in my arcade cab. Thanks for this game!

Pac Man + Rogue. Fun title that has variety and requires more strategy than you would expect at first glance. The retro style is well done and the control scheme works well once you get accustomed to it. My only gripe is that the sound stopped working after I received a call mid-game. Sound works fine with everything else. Suggestions for a fix other than "reinstall"?

An excellent game. This is one of the few iOS games I've continued to come back to after months. A great blend of action and simplicity.

Awesome retro arcade style action. Lovely title that reminds me of old days on the 8-bit computer. Great chunky sound effects and pixel art. I kept seeing new baddies up until I stopped playing. I look forward to further sessions with it. I played it on my 1st gen iPad. It worked fine, despite what Mr. OneStar says.

It's amazing how little you have to add to pac-man to make it awesome.. Ok. Take pac-man, add randomized, destructible levels, screen wrapping, bullets, and infinitely spawning enemies and you get a game that I have spent far too much time on. On a surface level, it seems to be a ridiculously simple game (and, well, it really is), but when you really get into the game you realize the amount of strategic depth these new additions add to the classic (and, in my opinion, stale) formula. And it's half the price of pac-man (because NAMCO, like all big publishers, doesn't understand how downloadable titles work). I truly cannot recommend this game enough.

Pac-Man only wishes it was this good!. UPDATE: As of this update it only gets BETTER! The new Seed mode lets all of the world's players play in the exact same set of levels for that day. So now when you look at the day's top Seed scores you can't write off the tops scores as just getting lucky layouts. The Arena mode is also neat since there is no easy way out. You're trapped in this level for all eternity with beasties and flowers regenerating with each wave. I love how you are really FORCED to get to know the random level the game has thrown together for you, for better or worse, if you want to survive long. Wow! This game is freaky fun! Pac-Man with a gun in random mazes with a variety of enemies and a twisted take on power pills (there are none, you need to scrape against the walls to charge yourself up...but even then must be careful not to over charge or you might blow up). Something also way too twisted in a good way is how the scoring from gathering pellets works. No longer is it some silly 10 points per pellet but a clever progressive scoring based on how many pellets you're able to gather in a row without a break. So, amidst all of the chaos of spawning baddies, you're trying to find a patch you can take through the maze that will have you gathering as many pellets as possible in an unbroken run. The points gathered this way can be massive! Pickup some 4 pellets in a row and get 16 points, but collect half the maze in one continuous run and you could be looking at 4,000 points or more (the points from the run are added until you end the current run).

frickin awesome. This game is really good, way better than 90% of ios games out there. Who knew such a bizarre ruleset could result in such enjoyable gameplay?

awesome rogue + pacman + 8-bit action blend!. ingeniously simple and incredibly fun, a mix that's hard to come by these days. Much better than any pacman iteration (thanks to rpg 'progression' elements), has a very unique feel to it, every floor comes to life as enemies start to wander around and try to beat down...not only you but other enemies too! Maybe the best pick-and-play game on the appstore, 5 blazing stars hugely deserved!

Interesting, but could use some work. This is an interesting game with a lot of potential, but there are a couple of interface issues which mar the experience on the iPhone version. The bonus indicator when you finish a chain or pick up certain types of fruit is very difficult to see due it it's small size and dark color- it might work better if it were brighter or appeared under the 'score' indicator instead of on the maze itself. The swipe controls don't feel as sensitive as they need to be for a game like this, either; I hate to say it, but an onscreen D-pad might work better. I very much like the idea of the randomly generated mazes, but because of the exponential nature or scoring, it feels a bit like your score depends largely on how big the mazes generated are and where you start out- big mazes produce higher scores due to the higher number of flowers, and a maze where it's convenient to chain flowers will score significantly higher than one where it isn't. Still, it feels like something that will be great fun after a few updates- I'm definitely keeping an eye on this one! - HC

Must-have iOS arcade game. forget.me.not is hands down the best arcade games on iOS. I've had this game for (what seems like) over a year, and I continuous come back to play again and again. Bottom line: forget.me.not is a Gen-Xer wet dream. It will take you back to the days of dumping quarters in arcade machines at Aladdin's Castle, the bowling alley, or putt putt golf.
