Was a great app. Like others, I had paid for the ad free version a while ago. Not sure exactly when, but the ads started and the mic and speaker options stopped working connections slowed way down. Kind of ticked off. It was a great app for the initial low cost and multiple cameras. Not sure I want to pay for an app where the developer can ask for more money anytime they want to if they make changes. If this is your first time paying for the app, it could be ok. Be ready for an additional payment at a later date.

Thank goodness for IP CAM!. The ONLY app that works with my older Swann system since Swann stopped supporting their own SwannView app. Just last week, the Swann’s app still worked, although buggy before iOS 11 was released. But once I upgraded to iOS 11, the app was DONE...SwannView was totally killed by the new iOS. I downloaded over 10 other apps to replace it, so that I could still remotely view my cameras around my home, and IP CAM was the only app that worked. Thank you IP CAM!! Well done!!

Full screen mode fails. Shows a snap of all six cameras at start up but when you click on one to show in full screen it disconnects. - iPhone 7 p

Can’t add more cameras, I have 7 now!. I upgraded from a Lite a couple of years ago. Everything’s been fine until I want to add another camera recently (I already have 7 running). It says I have to upgrade! What gives?

Works great.. Great app but I couldn't get it working with Avermedia NV Series (which is my actual hardware) but then tried Avermedia EB/EH Series and everything worked great. Then I purchased the full version. 4 stars for that glitch and also after paying for the in app upgrade, my app icon still says "lite" and the about section doesn't say pro. Will I be charged for downloading the pro version now?

Great. Works well, what is difference between lite & Pro.

Lagging connection. Added 2 local IP cams without an issue to the free lite version of the app, my question is does the lagging disappear if I upgrade to the paid pro version?

FOSCAM must have. If you have FOSCAM cameras you need this app- can't believe how long it took me to find this- get it you'll love it! Only reason it's not five stars is it either does not have or I have not figured out how to view recordings from this app.

Great IP Cam / ONVIF app. Finally found the app I was looking for to control/monitor my ONVIF cameras. Was able to use generic ONVIF config and by specifying manufacturer/model. Both setups worked fine. For the camera I have that wasn’t listed, the scan feature worked well and found a number of models from other manufacturers that were compatible. Being able to specify user configured ports within the app also allows me to view my cameras when not on my local network. Doesn’t get any better than this. Very responsive developer as well. Highly recommended.

P2P. Please make a one that can connect to P2P cams, I really like the app!!!

nvr support?. description says there's support for nvrs, but i could not find foscam's 9 channel nvr (model FN3109H) when adding devices. if there is support for this nvr. i would gladly upgrade to the pro version.

Solid and Strong Viewer. I have used this app daily for the last 5 years across 5 devices and it has performed flawlessly. The developer is very helpful if you encounter problems. There are imposters so beware. The lite version offers great features at 0 cost. Try before you buy.

Using it almost everyday. I am strongly considering purchasing the Pro version. This little app works well with my DLink cameras - even the pan and tilt models. It is faster than the DLink software for when I am on my LAN, too. I have it installed on iPhone, Google TV, and Win8. Nice consistency across all platforms so far. Updates come out regularly to keep it compatible and running great.

PTZ is gone!. I too have used this app for years and I love it, but now the ability to move or control the camera is gone when I updated it. Please fix!

Wide camera support. Seems to offer the best range of support for the most cameras, including generic settings/options for brands that can’t be identified. Upgrading the app removes the ads, but doesn’t remove the annoying “Support IP Cam Viewer” block that tries to get you to follow them on Twitter. Come on, I paid $5, give me an unobstructed screen without any garbage that I don’t care about.

Sercomm OC432. This ip camera is not supported by app ip viewer pro pay for update and this model is not in the list sercomm OC432 they are AT&T digital life system don’t buy this app doesn’t work send couples e mails with no response

Paid for app still have to view add ?. This is ridiculous to pay for the app and still see adds. No star Dont pay.

Works great with my mole cameras. With port forwarding, it works fantastically. It was relatively easy to set up and appears to be feature rich. On the critical side, I find the motion a little choppy, much more so than my windows viewing in chrome with the "multi tabs add in" turned on. The other is the lack of sound, which may be a limitation of the lite version.

Decent App. I initially downloaded the free app and paid upgrade two years ago. It was running well. However since late of last year, I noticed the microphone does not work. I can only listen. I have restarted my server and all the cameras. The issue still exist. Can someone tell where the issue come from? Thanks!

Ads are now in the paid version. I paid for the non ad version years ago.. Now I'm getting ads all the sudden

Not pleased. I paid for the upgrade and now program return to lite. Wants me to pay again.

Latest version fail. I should have known not to upgrade something that was not broken. Now none of my cameras are viewable.

Doesn’t work with Zoneminder. Stopped working with Zoneminder a couple of months ago. No info on updates or anything about if it will ever work with Zoneminder again.

Nothing displayed. I have to correct my previous review of positive recommendation since this app does not work at all after brief display. Reinstalling shows only one successful display of camera images then give blank image. I guess there is a bug that needs to be corrected.

Worked ad free then quit. This app WAS GREAT I woke up today with ads after purchasing this app. I really think it’s a nasty trick to do remove ads with purchase then give ads back with out explanations. I would be careful downloading this expecting results. REFUND

Can get support !. Tried lite version. Seemed acceptable. Needed more cams to be added (which I cant add, need assistance, hello? Anyone out there or do you care?) So I upgraded to pro. My app still says LITE, I still CANNOT DO FAMILY SHARING with my spouse. This is one of the reasons I paid money and bought the app. No way to get assistance. Not the best app , yet. Will upgrade my rating if assistance is rendered.

Help!!. I have this app and upgraded, although apple is not getting that info. The app works perfect while I am on wifi with the camera, but will not show feed when I am on cellular data. I am using this as a nanny cam. When I go to the url it does not allow audio. Is there a way for the app to work on data and not on the same network?

PTZ commands. Command strip disappeared after update

Flexible but Drains Battery. Offers a lot of welcome flexibility for connecting to different types of cameras. However, it drains the battery even when ts not open. You have to swipe up to close it completely when done using it.

Where are the pan and tilt controls and preset buttons?. I have loved this app for four years. Now, suddenly, they update the app and the control panel which allowed you to pan, tilt and move to present positions has disappeared. Please restore this function...

It doesn't play sound. I bought the pro version to play sound. But the sound never comes through. It comes through on my partners Samsung for the same cameras but not in my iPhone x. Would like to get my money back if this isn't fixed

Instant favorite!. I have five cameras (two brands) and have spent hours configuring them for individual web use with the manufacturers software as well trying to get an integrated display via 5 different 3rd party apps with varying degrees of success. I had all of them up and running perfectly on IP Cam Viewer in less than 10 minutes. Outstanding package!

Don’t waste your time or money.... Used the lite version and liked it, so I bought it. Upgraded my phone and now I’m stuck with lite again... and random and VERY loud ads... some of the ads are not age appropriate, especially in the middle of the night when my phone starts blaring and ad from the kitchen. Do you know what they call someone that deceives others for money?!?!?! T*i$f!!!

Upgrade. I originally bought the upgrade on my iPhone. When I went to upgrade on the iPad it would not allow me to restore my previous purchase. What you have to do is go into the app settings and restore the upgrade purchase. Then be upgraded app is working on the second device. Now everything works!

App is good, support is non-responsive. I got the app setup with all my cameras and it works well. I paid for the upgrade to the full version but I’m not able to share it with my wife (even though all the other apps work since we have family sharing enabled). I have sent 2 emails to the developer but have not heard back.

Don’t buy the Pro version. We were happy with the Pro version so that we could record if the need arose. But, an update became available which we downloaded and installed. Now we only have the Lite version even though we paid for Pro ! ! !

No sound. There is no sound for hikvision ds 2cd2432-iw, and the video&audio is set in cam cfg. It used to work.

What happened?. This used to be a great app. I paid for the pro version and a little by little features seemed to disappear. Now I’m lucky if I can get my cameras to come up in five minutes. Total piece of crap now don’t waste your money. The developer talks about updates are coming updates are coming but they never happened. So sorry that I paid for this piece of junk.

Quick updates and response time. iOS 14.1 had many issues affecting many apps and these guys were quick to resolve any conflicts with apples latest bug filled update!! Great Work!!

Awesome! Works with EasyN 147 Cam and Dropcam!. I am so excited that this app replaces my EasyN P app! That app was so buggy! The EasyN cam is super with 1080p, tilt, pan and zoom, but I couldn't control it easily! I googled generic apps and found this gem! I also added my Dropcam to it very easily. To find my IP and Port I used the ScanLan and Fing iOS apps. IP cam Viewer opens my cams immediately. It has many controls and is so easy to move my EasyN's pan and tilt! I highly recommend this app. I tried this lite version and then bought the pro for $3.99. It is worth every penny!

Great Ap. I upgraded to the Pro version through my iPad, so on here it doesn't show I own it to write a review there. As a retired programmer myself, I have to say Robert Chou did a fantastic job with this ap. When I purchased it, I had to 10 year old Toshiba cameras and was surprised to find drivers for both. Since I've added two Vstarcams, models C7815WIP and C7838WIP. There are Vstar drivers but not for the two newer models. Would appreciate them in a future update. Thanks in advance.

Ads placement. Since last update the lite version of the app started to show ads on the man screen which I don’t mind and also in the full screen mode of a live stream, which partially covers the the video. There was nothing about this in release notes, otherwise I wouldn’t update. I wish I could roll the update back.

Family sharing???. Bout with my old email. Don’t see any other way to get verified and don’t want to use my old email. Not going to give you 4.99 again.

Works great. I downloaded this app trying a few and it has surpassed every free version. An excellent feature that isn't included in other apps is the ability to export settings, and duplicate camera settings easily. Love the setup and plan to upgrade soon. All of our cameras run behind a vpn and proxy and work flawlessly.

Works great. I have Zmodo NVR and the app works great for up to 6 cameras, need to upgrade to pro version to view more cameras

WTH. They have removed the ability to see your presets and the directional PTZ controls what is going on I’ve been using this app for years and I don’t know if this is a mistake but they have seriously screwed it up

Bad News to Good News. Paid for upgrade to have more cameras, but advertising banner is now blocking some of the cameras. I can understand why the free version needs advertisements but not the paid version. So Bad News. Disappointed. Sent two emails. The problem was resolved and the advertisements have magically disappeared. My thanks. Obviously a glitch which was quickly corrected. Great customer service. Back to FIVE stars. (A+)

It works. This apps works well. There was a small glitch with v3.1.9 but the developer created an update to fix the issue for iOS 9. The iOS software that came with my cameras does not show live camera views on split screens. IP Cam View does this well. I just wish there was an easier way to set up the cameras to use outside my home wifi without having to change router/modem settings.

Diddo to thank goodness for IP Cam Viewer App. I searched all over and downloaded multiple apps for my swanneye app after it got thrashed by iOS 11 when it was born, and none worked except for IP Cam. Thank you IP Cam for an awesome app, well done.

Terrible. It's doesn't work

Was good until ads block the screen. This was a reasonable viewer for something that was free. However, quite useless now as ads block the screen and you have to click through. Stopped using it now.

Crashes. This version is crashing while trying to modify or add a new camera on my IPad Pro. Although, it seems to operate ok on my IPhone 6S.

So easy. Easy to set up. Edit the existing cameras. Scan your network after including the IP and Ports and existing cameras on the same network appear. Very good. I have two cheap IP cams from Kmart that weren't listed, performed the scan and compatible cameras were matched and working. Great app to simultaneous view up to 4 ip cameras with full functionality with my PTZ. Very stable app too.

Thank you so much for creating this app I use contacts to manage my cameras in my home and there is no app that I can find besides this on that supports contacam However only giving 4/5 stars because the app does not feel as modern as others or look as nice could use more modern background and buttons

It’s more adware than real app.. Not good

Works on LAN not on VPN. I use OpenVPN to tunnel into my home network. Unfortunately this application will not load my cameras when connected through the VPN. I’ve confirmed routing and firewall as I can reach the cameras web administration page through safari. Also other iOS applications seem to work fine.

Kicks me out. Finds camera but doesn't save it and constantly closes all the time. Would buy pro version if this worked well but don't want to waste 6$ just to find out it does the same.

I have paid for this app ! But it lags every time. This app needs to speed up the cams to real time ! As it should be

Works great with multiple devices. I have tried numerous ip camera apps and this is my go-to app. I have a mix of trend-net and Panasonic cameras. This app has no problem displaying them all simultaneously. I paid to remove the ads, the app is worth it. I also like the ability to save and export the configuration.

Excellent App.. Work with all my different brand ( no brand IP camera also ). The scan feature is very useful to help to configure the camera to the App. if the parameters are not known . The programmer has done a excellent work with many settings ( profile ) so it can be possible to control from the App. most feature of camera ( PTZ , Preset , sound ) . Very stable App.with some exclusive functions. Paid to remove advertisements, very satisfied Thank you, work great on my Open VPN tunnel .

Best in the market for the price!. It works so well with most ip cams. Has limitations when used to control PTZ! It need better supports for p2p cams.

Solid app. Great stable app. Have used for years. Will give 5 stars when SSL is supported. Currently, only HTTP is.

Linksys WVC54g Web Cams. Worked perfectly with my Linksys WVC54g web cams. It took me less than 3 minutes to set up 3 web cams on my iPhone 5 while drinking coffee at Starbucks. I would like a full-screen mode. Perhaps the paid version has that.

Awesome apps. Now I can view 4 foscam on my iPad, so easy to install, and it is free too ;)

user. upgraded Lite on iPad to eliminate banners and add more cams and works great, but I am having trouble with iPhone not being upgraded to the same capabilities...

WAS working!. Since last update it stopped working and it goes like freezing , when press back button freezes on white screen in 2 different devices, also after last update it lost setting!!

Great app, messy UI. Great app. Works as intended, however needs some TLC in the UI department. Buttons are very small, hard to see, and don't match iOS design standards. App settings is also a cramped mess of buttons and menus.

INSTEON camera works great!. Some apps don't work with the INSTEON brand cameras. This one is easy to setup and use. Controls sound and microphone along with all movements.

It just works. Easy to configure and use. The pre configured cams are pretty neat too.

Works Great!. I use this to view my Arecont IP camera stream via RTSP and it works as advertised. Love the snapshot feature.

Great app. I have used a lot of ip camera apps and this one by far is the easiest and fastest one yet.

Ruined with ads. Last update claimed more camera support but it was a lie to trick people on to upgrading so they could inject a ton of invasive advertising for junk games and more. Not content with already stealing real estate from the bottom camera image, now the ads take up the full screen until you click on the x. Sometimes that works sometimes it does not and crashes the app. Ah well, i guess this is another one of those apps ruined by greed! DELETED!

Pretty good. I upgraded to the pro. I wish the Ptz function would use the touchscreen as others but it's still good and still being supported

App is good. But needs to be able to get alerts on iPhone when there is motion detected. Getting an email when motion detected does not always work.

Please optimize for iPhone 6. This app worked great for iPhone 5. Now that I have an iPhone 6, I expected the same functionality, but I can't even get the camera feed to load. Very disappointing! Please optimize for iPhone 6!

Poor refresh on multi-Matrix view. When looking at the Matrix of cameras, the refresh is terrible. When singularly looking at one camera it works well. Can connect to ONVIF cameras, AND you can specify a specific RTSP port, something most other apps don't have and desperately need. So it's got that going for it.

Good app. Does what it says. Didn't like the advertisements so I bought the pro version

Might be good don't know because crippled. I hate when devs cripple features unless you pay for pro. The app has ads like CRAZY and they disable features so I can not test before paying so GOODBYE! Greedy.

Great App. This is the best App for Foscam products. I upgraded to the Pro and it even better.

Nicest Setup for Multi-Brand DIYer. I have multiple Nest Cams and various RTSP IP cameras and this app is simple to configure and display a tiled view of all your cameras (that fit) on your iPad. I was impressed how easy it was to configure a TrendNet TV-IP315IP, which had previously been a challenge with other packages, and the long list of supported brands encouraged me to add my Nest cams and they all look the same in the interface. Click the live video tile and you go full-screen with it. I was so impressed, I bought the premium version almost immediately. Nicely done.

Versatile but too frequent updates. Works perfect the only issue is too frequent version updates.

Best app out there. Wanted to review the paid version but Apple still thinks I have the lite version. This is the best ip cam app out there. My wife is disabled and this gives me piece of mind when I have to leave her alone.

Useful App. I've used this with two different ip cams with no issue. The Cisco WVC80N and the Dahua IPC-HFW2100. It looks like this app supports many other brands and models natively as well as generic feeds. Great app, haven't had any issues.

Hard Sell- does nothing else. I hate to give a poor review, but this app designer should have only offered a paid version- this is nothing but a few public domain IP cams with no way to add or view your own cams. Dont waste your time

Excellent Software. I could not get my Defender System to work with ClearVu. I tried IP Can Viewer with out much hope of success. It worked perfectly and is very fast. I highly recommend it

Very Good App. I have been using this app for years and am very satisfied with its features. All the remote controls are flawless. Strongly recommend!

Simple and works. Not an extravagant interface, but it works where other apps wouldn't even connect. The config list of 750+ devices makes it better than other apps and easy to setup and get running.

Has potential. I use other IOS available camera apps for my wall mounted iPads. While i like the fact this one allows full screen imaging, the biggest problem and why I do not use this app is the poor refresh rate. It skips often and not smooth. My other two apps do not skip a bit. Fix that and I might use this and upgrade.

Solid app. Seems to work well for me every time so far. Found my axis and dahuas and I see them each open of app.

Better than most. The free version allows 6 cameras which I'd better than almost all others. Performance is decent with good WIFI. I have 7 Sharx cams and lots of iPhone apps don't work with them. Very user friendly. Design is logical and simple Only downside is occasionally frozen video. Guess can improve on streaming performance a bit

Has Potential.. The audible motion alert will not sound off when audio monitoring is active. That should be corrected. Also, backgrounding is not possible, but should be. Finally, for purposes of triggering the audible motion alert, motion sensitivity should be made adjustable.

Stopped working. After your recent update, app does not find camera

Works well easy setup. I have an old D Link DCS-920, and a Linksys WVC series camera. Easy and everything works!

Don't waste your time.... Purchased upgrade and never got a key for the PC software. Developer will not respond to requests. Good program but on your own with this one and even after paying the only thing you get is an ad free app for your phone/tablet. The PC "app" part is garbage and crashes due to ads and because you can't get an upgrade key well......... 0 Stars

Xbox. Would be nice to see this on windows Universal Windows Platform (UWP) apps will be supported in Xbox One Works good with D link and Samsung phones with ip webcam app

Awesome. Ugliest user interface I've ever seen but don't be deceived by it. It works super well and everything in this version that is available works like a charm.

Issue with the current version. Older version works just fine on my iPhone. Current version does not work on the iPad. Glad I don't auto download on the iPhone.

Was good, now crashes when I change IP. This app probably the best IP camera app. Since my IP changes all of the time, I have to change it in the app. However, the app crashes before I can change the IP. Now it is a useless app. I will now have to try and find a new IP camera app.

Poor Customer Service. The developer of this app would be well advised to know that this app is only as good as the support behind it. Totally unacceptable level of service from technical support. My advice to potential buyers is to stay clear.

Great app!. Works great for my Going camera and supports many others.

Needs mirror option. I have my camera mounted above my babies crib looking down. Which means all the directions are reversed. I wish this app had a reverse or mirror option. If the presets worked it wouldn't matter as much. But it's a huge pain to operate when up moves it down and left moves the camera right. Want refund since I upgraded for $4 and have not benefited from upgrade. The ads didn't bother me. I upgraded for the preset option

Have to pay each time... I paid the firs time, after change the iPhone, the program don't recognized the first payment, then I have to pay again

Needs fixed.. App seems cool, but cameras disconnect after 10 sec and you have to exit the app to restart them. 5 stars when fixed

Works quite well. App works (I use LITE version). Never crashes. Connects to MANY different brands of cameras. (I have Ubiquiti & Axis). Does what you want it to, no muss, no fuss. Frequent updates to add new cameras. I can easily recommend..
