- Cerina

I want to post a review on a lovely woman, cerina. She is a favorite of mine. I have been coming to this hotel for the past two months. This lady Cerina works up front. She has an amazing heart. She doesn’t just do her job well, she cares. With everything going on right now with COVID that means a lot. So today I wanted to take the time out and say thank you to her and show appreciation. To her. She is one of the main reasons i chest on Wyndham rewards lol. It says a lot that I would rather come here then build up points for free rooms at a Wyndham property. Even though you don’t need points with how low it is to book a room here. To me that says a lot they could of upped their prices during COVID, like so many hotels did unfortunately, and they haven’t. It’s the hotel with a heart. But it’s people like Cerina who keeps that heart pumping. Thank you Cerina. I kk be up to pay my room soon. Sorry I’m an hour late. I’m blessed you let me sleep in some days. Lol. Again thank you.

- Great location but not what I expected.

Not what I expected for the price we paid. The hotel is in a great location but could use some upgrades and better housekeeping skills. The room was spacious but not as clean as it should be. The bathroom curtain was white with some gray stains which showed it had not been properly watched in a long time. The bathroom sink had some yellow stains in the corner and the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. This one had a whole right next to it that was never patched up and the footboard needed some real good cleaning as they were gray instead of white. I spoke with the front desk about it and they sent the housekeeper to clean the room but everything I mentioned was still the same when we got back to the room. You could tell they switched the bedroom sheets, replaced the towels and vacuumed the floors but nothing else was done. This is the first time I experience anything like this in a hotel and it was a shamed. The food is also over priced. I was only there for two nights and didn’t want to make a big deal about the cleanliness of the room but unfortunately, I would not be staying here again.

- Amazing Books!

From the beginning, this app, even within context of changing infrastructures, within networks, and all of us with individual security challenges test our patience I knew something was different immediately in the software design of this app. That is, I have often felt I was falling between the cracks in apps in the last 2 years, so was this skeptical of one that would hold so much info ( safety, financial) and transport hotel details of a reservation. But, it does, and so seamlessly set up my personal and business accounts (and led me thru process of organizing my 'books') in just making a travel plan that I was unaware of all the gains until now. The ease of use, for those of us with little or waning patience for glitches, 'fear of losing things' syndrome is great...hang in there thru a 3-4 bookings. it will all start appearing, syncing, all history intact, etc. My hope is (once again...) restored!!! Beautiful.

- Extended stay in Tampa Fl

My check in time was supposed to be 3 pm and I got there at 4:30, I still had to wait sitting in the lobby for another 10-20 min waiting for her to give me a room number but a man walked in behind me to check in and she gave him his room and he did not have to wait. I booked well over a month in advance requesting a bottom floor and got a 3rd floor room. The breakfast was nothing like it said had coffee and granola bars really disappointing! They say they are only 2.6 miles from the stadium and they are over 6.6 miles away!! The person checking us in seemed very rude and not very friendly at all!! At check out the lady was leaving the lobby briefly asked me what room and said fine and walked away not sure if I was supposed to do anything else instead, I really hope it was fine because there was no one else around to ask!! Was very disappointed and the facilities was a big let down!!

- Outstanding location and service

The room was large and appeared even more spacious with the tall ceilings. The view from our first floor room was amazing. Very large windows and remote control blinds made it all the better. The bathroom was up to date and clean. The bed slept well and I would rate it above above average. The addition of the included mini bar was a nice touch. They restock the wine, water, coke, diet Coke (Coke Light), Sprite, beer, and peanuts every evening. I never heard noise from the nieghboring rooms. The location was central enough to get around easily. It is only an eight minute walk with luggage to the central train station. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. I had but two complaints. First, the water in our shower and one of the double sinks in the room had a drainage problem. They backed up very quickly. The tub and other sink did not have the same issue. Overall, I would say the hotel was the best I've stayed at in Amsterdam.

- Incredibly courteous and helpful staff and team along with great location

The Oakwood has really gone beyond my expectations. I was originally going to check in at the Marriot since my brother was getting a room there; but instead I decided to next door to the Oakwood and I was not disappointed. It was 15% savings with a studio room upgraded to a suite by the fantastic fellows at the front desk. The rooms are very clean and modern along with large fridge and full kitchen. Beds were very plush. The gym on the top floor was well rounded and fantastic along with the steam room. I did laps in there rooftop pool which was very clean. The hotel is connected to the mall and the shopping was also very good and convenient. There are about 6 restaurants you can choose from here and so far each one has been good. You will feel very welcomed and have everything you need and then some at the Oakwood.

- Gorgeous but out of the way

It was not near or convenient to anything. When you look at the map you think “oh its in Jimbaran so it near...” as there are many great things worth seeing & experiencing here in Jimbaran or Uluwatu area but its quite far from anything due to the windy roads. You have to hire a car —no taxis available from here —and you are at the mercy of whatever they want to charge you, even to go 5 minutes down the road to the closest restaurant. I’d recommend stYing here for a night and enjoying a full day relaxing by the pool and taking in the views. The dinner at the restaurant is quite good and reasonably priced for the portions and quality. Then, after enjoying your time here, find another location for site-seeing the rest of Bali as this is not a convenient base for going on excursions, shopping, dining, etc. its gorgeous and inexpensive for what they offer—this makes it a great value, but its too far away to enjoy anything beyond this property itself.

- Awful customer service And bad customer relations.

I’ve used boooking several times in the past without problems, until recently. It was my birthday and wanted to celebrate with my girlfriend. I went on the Booking app to find a Jacuzzi Suite and located one in their site at a Holiday in express and Suites. Drove over a hundred miles to this hotel that I reserved And got to hotel. Checked in and went up to room only to find their was no jacuzzi in room. Called front desk and was told that they didn’t have any rooms with jacuzzis, and that I would need to talk to manager in the morning. Talked to manager at checkout and was told that They are not going to refund me at all because it’s not their fault, it’s Bookings fault and I had to call them. Called booking and they said it’s not their fault either. So I guess it’s my fault that I was lied to and lured into a hotel for something I was promised and paid for but didn’t receive. Beware of Booking. Com as they will not stand behind anything, and don’t care a lot guest relations. Again I used them to book many times in the past and will not again and suggest for your sake you do not either.

- Kind of pricy for what you get

This accommodation was more like a bed and breakfast (except without the breakfast) Beds were not comfortable. One, the hide-a-bed was a thin mattress and my son woke up with neck and shoulder pain. Queen bed was a mattress with memory foam on top. Wi-Fi worked only sometimes. Hot and stuffy in room but Xavier brought a fan which was helpful. Only one faucet worked on sink with lukewarm water and shower was not so great, but had nice hot water. Also, no fridge, microwave or anything. Parking was about 1/4 mile away and an extra $10-$15 a night. Xavier was very trustworthy and helpful and gave us good suggestions where to eat, etc.. (The reason for the 3stars otherwise I would give it Just 2 stars for comfort). He was also a good communicator and responded to texts and requests promptly. This place was close to the center and seemed to be safe enough with double locked doors. All in all I felt like we paid a lot for what we got compared to other places we stayed in MX though. Be prepared to pay for your stay in cash (pesos) too.

- Great Showers!

The hotel was near a new mall. The room was small but clean. We stayed for 13 days. On the 3rd day, a bottle of perfume was taken out of the room when they cleaned it. The front desk was notified and they said the cleaning crew knew nothing about it. Nothing else done about it. Use the room safe as the cleaning staff may not be trusted. The bottle of perfume was not high in value but still bothered my wife because something was taken out of the room. No manager came to talk to us in the next 10 days of our stay. Another thing, we received 2 card keys in the beginning of our stay. One cracked and did not work when trying to open the door. I alerted the front desk and they said they will replace it for 200 pesos as “all room cards are inventoried”. Such a valuable piece of plastic... We continued to stay there as we were already charged for the entire stay. Flip a coin when deciding on this hotel as they seem to be customer friendly until a problem arises. The only real plus were the showers.

- Trying to play in VEGAs - not working for them

Ya. Umm. Find a new in house management and marketing team.... Front desk manager should not look like a peep show girl with a small silver bow in her side part unless at an adult only restort 🤔 Coming from Park City Utah and knowing what the resort is like there—— No COMPARISOn - never staying at this Las Vegas property again! I’m sure this is not the atmosphere you would like to use for carrying on such a reputable establishment As a guest——Know resort fees are better covered in properties in Las Vegas that have fresh drinking water service at the pool..... Serve room service with water included.... (not upon request) ..... When going GREEN - don’t place the offer on the desk and hard to see —— use a tent marketing strategy in the BATHRoOM——Oh and coffee in room makes most excited!! Not included??? —- !!! AND when the pool is closed in April, don’t use internet, fitness center (not used) or TOLL free calls be obliged to waive the resort fee when addressed in this situation.

- Chic Royalton

I checked in here on Friday and I hate every minute of it.I paid for a luxury room what I got was far from that my first room was room 5111. You can tell the room was hit hard during the flood it has mold everywhere. I requested to get moved because of the awful smell in the room and breathing was impossible. When I called to complain they just hung up the phone. The first room we had had fresh cut fruits and a bottle of wine nice presentation but we could not eat anything out of the moldy room we finally got moved to another room that was not luxury with two beds instead of a king bed. Spoke to a supervisor who gave us reservation to a Mediterranean restaurant which already came with our booking lol.. I have requested to be moved to the diamond room and offered to pay more the hotels has refused to grant this claiming they are all full as I sit by the pool and see empty rooms. I have never felt the need to write a review but this is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in can’t wait to get home absolutely HATE IT unfortunately am here until Wednesday hopefully someone will make this right but I highly doubt it

- Abosolutely fabulous!!!!!

We loved it. It was more than what we expected. The 2nd floor jumper/ trampoline was a extra for the kids. They wanted to sleep on it. The kitchen had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious and great!!! Bathrooms were nice. Plenty of towels. Plenty!!! Everything was roomy for two of us families. Access was easy and they were ready for us. The top pool was amazing!! It was so beautiful up there. It had a bathroom and even a grill!!! The architecture and design of the building and every detail was so impressive. It was close to circle k, gas, food and a police station. We felt safe and at home. I really would love to own one of these units. This will be our spot going forward whenever we visit Tulum. We have always loved Tulum and all it’s restaurants, shops and activities. It’s the place to be!!! Thank you so much to All the staff!!! We’ll miss you!!!

- Worst experience ever!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE! Me and my girlfriend we’re both woman and a couple booked a room here for New Year’s Eve. We thought we would have a decent room in the back with privacy and some peace. Wrong, in as less than 1 hour we received a disturbing note on my car windshield. You can see for yourself in my photos. We felt very uncomfortable and threaten someone at the motel is watching over us. We called the front desk to informed them what’s going on and requested for him to escort us to the car we felt unsafe at the moment. He took nearly 30 minutes. And so we decided to reach out to the cops to have them escort us out the motel in a safely manner. But the cops never showed up of course it was New Year’s Eve. The front desk attendant end up showing up later and we decided to get a refund back it was unpleasant. Cigarette hole inside the comforter, the vent was off the ceiling in the restroom, a cloth towel was hung on the shower curtain/rod used, and red stain on the side table. It may be cheaper to stay for a Motel 6 but this one was the worst one I ever stay please do not book this place!!!

- Reasonable for a last minute booking

The B&B is located in a nice historic area. It is a bit too far from the station, especially because we could not find any taxi service in the city. There is no reception at the building and we didn’t receive the email by the time we got there, which was a bit confusing. But we managed to speak to the person in charge. The building looks nice and historic. The bedroom was a bit expensive for the type of furniture they have there. The bedroom furniture looks cheap and old. The bathroom was nice, but the shower box was poorly installed and didn’t work properly. They offered a breakfast, which was included in the price. But the breakfast was too basic and we had to order some sides to complement our meal. However, we were charged twice for the basic breakfast and the service was pretty disappointing. We did book our stay without researching at the very last minute. The B&B was a recommendation by a friend. But we expected a little more for the price we paid for the suite.

- Memorable Stay

I spent 4 nights at the Rocabella Santorini Resort. Simply stated, it was an excellent experience. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was presented with a welcome drink and informed that I was upgraded to a nicer suite. The room was perfect, large, and had all the amenities that I could ask for. My room faced the Caldera, which made for beautiful views. The highlight of my trip was twofold. First, the restaurant served very tasty food and the service was beyond excellent. Second, the waiter at the restaurant, Vlad, made my stay most memorable. In the 5 days that I stayed at the Rocabella, I developed a friendship with Vlad. During his time off, he showed me around the island and knowing my love for hiking, hiked with me to the town of Oia introducing me to some of his friends. As I was traveling alone, having Vlad there made my trip most enjoyable. Thank you Vlad and thank you Rocabella! I will be back with my wife.

- Broadway 3BR Apartment

Oh my goodness! Where do I begin? We arrived around 6:30 pm, after a 10 minute drive from Boston Logan Airport to the charming area of Revere. The entry details sent to us by the hosts were perfect! Upon entering the building, we knew that we were in a special apartment. The apartment is exceptionally beautiful. Everything has been renovated to the highest caliber. The beds are all three like sleeping on clouds. Although, we were here only one night, prior to a flight to Newfoundland, we could have all spent a week. The restaurants in the area are great & so reasonably priced. We ate at Di’Parma, 2 blocks away. Fantastic fresh swordfish & risotto. Great house bottles of vino for $17 USD. Whenever I am back in Boston, this is where I will stay. I would give this 100 stars if possible. Thank you Erik & Linda for allowing us to stay in your beautiful apartment. 😃🥰

- Le voyage splendide!

My fiancée and I flew away and was booked in Montréal for a one week get away. There were many amazing places to dine coming from the gem of hospitality in the South - Charleston, SC. There were so many great and diverse ethnicities to dine. We stayed above a grocery store on Sainte-Catherine Street that had all of the amenities one could ask. We ate at ‘Cacou 70’ Rue Sainte-Catherine where we stayed for breakfast, Mediterranean Tabouli at a grocery store for lunch and Israeli, Latin, Greek, Asian and of course, French food for dinner. We were two foodies in a nirvana metropolis. We found ourselves eating at Cacao 70 several times due to their many options. We never ate the same options twice, as we sampled bites from each other’s order. We also went on a hot air balloon and hit the spa ‘Sibéria’, and bought many postcards and trinkets to seal our memory. I proposed to my fiancée while in Québec and look forward to future travels with her. Viva Montréal!

- Mr.

The staff is so helpful and understanding. I had read all the reviews about the king size handicapped room on the 2nd floor next to the elevator. That is the room we have. For us, it’s not too loud, but we are here in late April. I do wish like others have said that it had a view of anything other than a wall. But it is what it is. I’m much more into the comfort of the room. Our room is clean, although, they do skimp on the toilet paper. I shall have to request more. We don’t use the amenities that the hotel offers. We don’t swim or go to a gym. We also don’t have have young children of any age. We have come to Reno to watch grass and trees grow somewhere. Anything other we say would be unfair because we have just spent our 1st night here. I don’t expect anything to happen negatively here that can’t be fixed.

- Super simple to use, but one suggestion for app devs

Downloaded for US cross country road trip. Used everyday so far, now going on day 7. Very easy to search, read reviews by category, apply filters for specific needs (pet friendly, free cancellation, etc) and book. Saves billing info for easy reservations across pretty much all hotel/motel chains. Super simple to use. One suggestion, if Bookings had its own rewards program, it would likely gain more market share as many of the chains have their own rewards programs that incentivize using their app instead. For budget travelers like me, Bookings is easier to use in finding the cheapest deals across chains, so having an umbrella “rewards” or points system through Bookings that could apply to all stays regardless of the hotel chain would be awesome.

- Read before you book! Your trip depends on it!!!

You get what you pay for... the first room I had because I did ask for a new room had a cracked and pealing ceiling, dark, and the furniture was so old and rocky, like a table that needed adjustments, the phone had some sort of interference that projected a high pitched screeching noise and rocky. That room needed a complete make over. So I get my new room in the “new” tower... the carpets getting there needed to be stretched like a low budget carpet company put them in. As you get off the elevator to the 22nd floor it smelled like sewage every day I was there which is gross. By the way so does the pool area that was half open. The bathroom in this new room is missing finishing touches the alarm clock is out of the 90s and the phone didn’t work in this room either. I won’t ever go back unless I go a nice free room to change my thinking... Which is why the saying “you get what you pay for” is true in this case. I would have rather payed the extra $200 and stayed in the Aria like I did last time and been a lot happier.

- LOVED IT

I must say my Husband and I checked in for 2 nights we watched the fireworks Father’s Day weekend it was beautiful I will be back I would never check in the Days inn again with there nasty slippery floors I like carpet the microwave wouldn’t even reach the socket at the days inn plus they tried to film flam us and said the towels was missing who on earth would steal dirty towels the supervisor fired the guy who lied and gave us our $100 deposit back I called the police got a report I was hurt to the pit of my stomach you don’t lie on me and my Husband we have plenty of money to travel with and if I was a thief why would I take dirty towels and not the iron or the blow dryer pillows and ironing board they was looking for an excuse to keep our deposit and it didn’t WORK I’m fine Hear at the Super 8 its way much COMFORTABLE BLESS THE OWNER WHO RENOVATED THIS HOTEL YOU'VE DONE AN AMAZING JOB MR&MRS JOHNSON

- Perfect for what we wanted!

There’s two rooms with a pull out couch and a full kitchen. Pots, and pans. Silverware etc. nice big king bed. Comfortable newer mattress. Nice bedding. I personally watched as the maid brought fresh comforters to the downstairs unit, so it’s all fresh. Everything works. A couple minutes walk to the beach. If you want beachfront you may want to contact to be sure. Everything is nice and quiet, and clean. Since Covid-19 you need to have a mash on in stores, and some restaurants you have to wear one to the table. Don’t let this scare you off! Avon cottages offers a nice place at an affordable price. The beach is amazing down here!! Definitely two thumbs up!! If I had an extra arm the thumb would be up! Definitely coming back here!! Next time I want beachfront though I have a bad back, and can’t walk far.

- Modern and quiet

We spent a week here and mostly just to rest it was quiet even know they're doing construction across the street and the room was nice and dark for sleeping on the air conditioning worked extremely well maybe too well. Staff is very accommodating and kind- You're within a five minute walk of the Times Square mall which is a great place to go for food on the lower level. also if you want to cross over where the monorail is a few blocks up there's a night Street market with tons of food and also the fancier Fahrenheit 88 mall and promenade. Personally I like the hotel but the street that it was on was off the beaten path and it could be a little scary for women traveling alone I would not recommend it. However I was always with my husband and never felt unsafe at any time. they have some fun theme rooms like the Beatles room in Marilyn Monroe room or the Elvis Presley room we actually stayed in the Beatles room for the first night and it was adorable. Breakfast was included but I'm not much of a breakfast person so I only saw one time and it was limited. Our favorite place was as you approach the Fahrenheit 88 mall there are some Japanese and Chinese letterings we found it on the last night and it's a massive food court with everything from Japan or Hong Kong. He was a nice stay and the price was right.

- Nice place but needs some updating

The customer service is the best. They treat you like royalty. That being said, the place needs some updating. They tile in the shower is cute but shower curtain didn’t go with th decor. The floors are sold and need to be replaced. The furniture in the room and lobby is very dirty and outdated. The pictures that are on the website are not true to the hotel. Hated the art work in our room. It looked like graffiti so we took it down during our stay and it made the room more acceptable. It was very noisy. We had a balcony and you can hear the rain and people taking and the wind. The halls were noisy and you can hear everything so not a lot of privacy. No elevator with so you have to walk those stairs! But absolutely loved the rooftop. Had a small pool and lounge chairs that we took advantage while there because beach is hard to get to in Old San Juan.

- Love it ! Highly recommend

It was lovely to live there ! We arrived a little bit late , but the boss was so nice , even it’s late, he introduced us where the swimming pool and the kitchen and where we could have breakfast! He’s so nice ! And after we slept, we reminded that we need to get up early next morning so we can leave for the Xcaret Park early, but we have no idea where to take the bus and everything, so we have to wake him up , he’s so patient and helpful , and even helped us search for the bus routines so we could know when we can catch the latest bus back home ! Totally nice experience stay with them ! And the other day , his wife is also sooo nice ,cook us the breakfast and call the taxi for us . Highly recommend stay with them if you need to stay in Cancun! Lovely place and friendly host!

- Three stars

When I initially got the app (about 6 years ago) I was very pleased with the recommendations and found that the reviews and ratings were quite accurate. I was also happy with how easy the app was to use. Notice I said WAS. Now, not so much. For some reason, I am unable to do a general city search; it wants to only search for what is closest to me. Most importantly, many user reviews of properties state peoples personal experiences and not specific to the amenities, facilities, staff and services. And I suspect someone has been editing out the negative comments. We stayed at a property three years ago with a high star rating and glowing reviews, but when we got there, it was a run down motel 50 yards from a freeway. They required a $200 deposit - even with a credit card, worn out carpeting, an AC unit that had to be beaten before it would cough out coolish air, if it blew any air at all, no hot water and spotty wi-fi. I have been reading reviews online and comparing those to reviews on Booking and they are not even close: 2 weeks ago people have began complaining about bedbugs and roaches at one property, while no mention of such nastiness is made on Booking where the reviews are still all positive. I will try the update and see if that fixes the functionality of the app and continue researching online reviews/ratings.

- Not right...

I called earlier this afternoon to make a reservation for tonight. They said they were booked full. Couple hours later, I tried on line and got a room but at a much, much higher rate. Very unfair way of doing business and a strange way to build customer loyalty. I also wanted to enter a comment about how they rent rooms (terrible). I had to enter a nickname to do it. I used my first name and initial of last name and a pop up message said that nickname was already used. I also entered both my initials and that got rejected, too. I then entered ‘Unhappy Customer’ and the same thing happened. I’m going to raise my scoring from One Star to Two Stars and keep going till it gets accepted. If this post appears online, it’s because it won’t accept lower ratings!

- Bed bugs

I have stayed in dozens of hotels. This is the first time I ever encounter bed bugs. It was literally on the bed crawling around. We called the front desk repeatedly to get the person working to come. They didn’t answer so we grabbed our things and told her there was a bug in our room. She asked if it was a stink bug, I said no and asked if she would come to the room. She went into the room and saw it immediately. She apologized and said she would move us. We were about to leave the room when she turned back and said let me get it before it spreads. We then went to the front desk where she was bombarded by phone calls and proceeded to say she would move us. While she was on the phone we talked to each other and decided no way. We told her we didn’t want that we wanted a refund because we have children in our home. She then asked if we wanted one of the new unused rooms. We repeated no and she said we would get a refund once we spoke to the manager the next day. It’s been five days and no call back.

- A travelers dream

I travel A LOT for both business and pleasure. This is MY FAVORITE app for booking hotels. It's always the cheapest. The rates always go down. It's easy to make special requests. You can sync it to multiple devices or send and share a booking with other people. You can add booking details to your iPhone Passbook or to your Photo album. It has a pay later option. The customer service is wonderful. They will send you maps and things to do in the area etc. everything about it is perfect. Recently because I book so often with them they upgraded me to the genius account which means I get up to 30% off a lot of hotels. I had a hotel booked in nYc for $1340----they upgraded me and reduced my price to $901! Hello thank you! Use this app!

The accommodation is well located at Taxia village, which is the destination of Tulou Course B. First of all, the owener of the place and his wife were really kind and willing to help me. They did not just pick me up from Taxia bus stop from the course, but also guided me around with a kind explanation. The madam cooks well and treated me dinner! The place is calm and homey, besides clean! If you have any problem, the owner will happily help you! Also, dried bamboo shoots that dried by the owner, (which is a local dish), is sold at the accommodation. Last but not least, thank you Mr and Mrs for your kind answers to my questions!!

- Better communication with the hotels/motels

Booked online but decided to pay at the hotel but I put my information/ CC info to reserve my spot only to show up and THEY GAVE MY ROOM AWAY. Because of some technicality even though I had called in advanced to let them know we were running late. This is something they could work on is the communication so people aren’t left stranded with nowhere to sleep! Next night I booked online but this time I payed online to make sure We had a place to sleep after a long day of driving. I call the hotel to confirm and they said I had to pay in the establishment, but I told them I had already payed ? So I ended calling customer service and they helped me thru the process! Only reason for 4 stars is because of the customer service representatives!!! You guys are awesome

- My Experience at Extended Stay

Hi my name is Michelle, I remember the very first time I chose to stay at an Extended Stay which was in Doral, oh my gosh” it was home, away from home. It has been about (6) six years now, and no matter where I go, it has been and will always be “ Extended Stay Inn. Very clean atmosphere, clean linens, white clean fresh bath towels , dishes, pots and pans, all clean, bathroom, tubs, toilet and face bowls all clean and fresh. - Muscat Hills Resorts

Day 1: Upon arrival we were not even welcomed at the gate. Security was very rude even though we arrived in an airport taxi. There was not even a hotel buggy to take us to our quarters. Dinner that evening was great we had a wonderful hostess from Myanmar and in my opinion absolutely professional beyond measure. Day 2 : The beaches and the breakfast were wonderful. The views were simply and breathtaking. Dinner that nights was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The hostesses were very pushy in trying to get us to place our order. Then after that didn’t work they ignored us until we had to signal them to come over. The kicker out of the whole night was their manager Ricardo. Me and my wife watched him greet every other table and guest that night twice while only glancing at us. I guess we had to either be Arab or Caucasian for him to even greet us in his Resturant. Horrible experience never would I recommend this resort to anyone.

- Less than expected

Location proximity to Oktoberfest was only good thing. Well the check-in staff were friendly enough. The place was dark and grungy with several lights out. My first room was okay, but missing furniture. There were not adequate outlets either. I had to change rooms for my two night stay. This made me quite upset, as I was traveling for business and it meant leaving everything in luggage storage all the time. The luggage storage did not seem secure as it was in in an outside building and not monitored. It was also a ransacked mess. The breakfast, that I thought was included, was not. It was an okay assortment, but the breads did not seem fresh. My second room was worse than the first. But at least it had all furniture. The bed was about the least comfortable I've been on in a while. All night long people were knocking on doors and making loud noises. Broken beer bottles in the hallway. It was just a mess.

- Gusde House

The price was right for me to stay next door to my friends and the staff was excellent. If you’re use to luxury I’d stay somewhere else; the bright photos on the website look new, comfortable, a magical. This place is dark n dingy at best. Very misleading photos but fine for what I needed I suppose. I booked 10 nights for under $350 USD I only slept there about four or five total nights so I sorta didn’t get to use all the benefits of free breakfast and sort of wasted money; that’s my fault not theirs but I’d have booked somewhere even cheaper had I known the downfalls of this place. Very friendly and trust worthy staff. I never locked a thing and was barely ever there to watch over my stuff. Sometimes it’s hard to find anyone depending on the hour but I would still suggest staying here for the price tag just don’t expect the Lap of luxury that the website promotes.

- Not what I expected!!

The room was clean and the staff was kind but that was were it ended. We booked a deluxe room with sitting area and a balcony; what we got was a small room with a double bed on a wooden pallet and no windows!!! The sitting area consisted of a small glass patio table and a metal chair, also there was no hot water. When I showed the front desk my reservation with description I was told they did not have that room available however I did not see any balconies so I’m not sure if that room even exists... this hotel was really difficult to find as well. So if you are a backpacker and looking for an upgrade from a tent this is your place!!! I would not stay there again and was charged for all 5 nights even though they did not have the room as advertised. We left after 1 night.

- 411 a 62 st

Overall appearance of the room was clean and quiet. The street is a little busy but is expected this time of the year. The queen size bed is very uncomfortable.. with multiple areas that have dips with springs poking you making it impossible to get a good nights rest. It is not a ocean view room - which was one of the things we were looking forward to was the fact that it said ocean view. The walk to the beach is pretty far and wouldn’t recommend it when it’s hot out. Beware when it rains because of landing water and there really isn’t a place for your pet to go to the bathroom. Be sure to bring trash bags, dish detergent and a extra fan because the AC unit is not equipped to cool the space when temps are above 80. The bathroom door must be left opened or your literally sweat to death just washing your hands due to the heat that comes in through the sky light.

- I Love the Hyatt but...

I was happy with most of the staff with an exception of a few unfriendlies. I like the fact that they want to be at your service but the mandatory bellhop (requiring a tip) can be annoying. I love to be served but I was running out of tip money. Also, having to call for items we forgot and then those items not coming was aggravating. I loved the fact that they offered full sized water bottles but was disappointed that we sent my daughter’s friend to grab some and they would only give her one. We all had to be present? Silly. The Hyatt is my favorite hotel, always comfy, friendly service and clean, staff attentive. I would stay here again. I only mentioned a few things that fell short because I assume you want my honesty.

- If you need a few hours sleep near Incheon, this place is perfect

I had a 14 hour connection at ICN and did not want to stay at a capsule room in the airport transit hotels or pay hundreds of dollars at the Grand Hyatt for such a short stay. I just wanted to get a breath of fresh air and a good night’s sleep. This place was just perfect. It’s a quick taxi ride from the airport, located just a few minutes away in a nice suburban neighborhood. The hotel itself is no-frills, what more do you need for an airport layover? Basic but quite comfy. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. There is a fantastic local Korean restaurant next door, as well as convenience stores, coffee shops, etc. I left at 5 am and a taxi was waiting right outside. Just perfect. Thank you, Hotel Hu!

- Convenient location, very friendly staff!

I stayed in more luxurious hotels in London, that’s for sure, but all together it was a nice spot and the reception girl was oh so kind and helpful! The hotel location is extremely convenient to train and tube connections. Our room was located in the basement. No exciting view but we were not bothered as the room was spacious, clean, totally silent at night and it featured a very good working air-conditioning which was a true blessing during the heat weave in July 2018. We had no breakfast in the morning so I can’t rate it. The location is perfect, very close to Paddington train station and a couple of other metro stations. Hide Park is just a few min. walk and we rented a bike nearby to cycle to lovely Notting Hill. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends who wish value for money.

- Amazing location. Too many details not taken care of.

Great location. We arrived at midnight for our night stay. Made it to the room. Took a bath and started getting ready to sleep. No lock on the main door , nor security tool to prevent others to come in. Wifi did not work. Not available. No TV. It was making a horrible clicking sound all night long. Although the linen appeared to be clean there was a stench of water damage/dust accumulation. No literature on the previously mentioned equipment tot working. Twice we had people come in the room uninvited and had no way of keeping them out. We decided to lean a chair against the main lock for security. Other than than apartment was good sized, amazing views, great location. Right next ro the beach, restaurants etc. We were out of there before 9am, the most expensive one night sleep ever!! Will not return.

- 4.5

I love Booking and use it nearly every trip I take. I rarely fine cheaper rates and never a more user-friendly app. Compared to others, it’s clean, simple and intuitive. Really the only thing that cost them half a star is that I had a problem getting them to honor their rate match. There should be a better approach than sending them a link to the other rate as by the time they read my email, the other rate was gone as the hotel had sold out. Of course I should have gotten a screenshot, but it would be nice if that was part of their instructions. All in all, I have been a massive fan since I discovered Booking and any time I try another site, I’m reminded why Booking is best.

- Removed features make the app worse

Booking used to be my go-to app whenever I was planning holidays. USED TO BE. Not anymore. They have changed former excellent features, and this has made the app worse. Two examples: (1) “Draw map” - I loved this function because it allowed me to draw a map and see only hotels inside my map. They removed this feature. Now every time I look for hotels I need to go through irrelevant results because their other location features are not accurate. (2) Filter by price - in the past you had a sliding bar and you were able to select your price range (from X to Y). Now you can’t. Instead, the app gives you predetermined ranges that in many cases are completely irrelevant for you. You end up with a lot of crap results that you don’t care about because they are either below or above your price range. Booking just keeps getting worse!

- Amazing Experience!!

Very great hotel staff!! From the moment we arrived. We arrived around 1pm and they let us check in our room early. As soon as we checked in they gave us our room card and we were off to the room. The rooms are very decent, they don’t look outdated. They look very nice and modern form the bathroom and sink mirrors. The beds are comfy. They have microwave, fridge and coffee in the rooms. They also have an ice machine in the building. They do provide free continental breakfast, very good breakfast. Bagel, cheese, sausage, yogurts, milk, coffee, nutrigrain bars etc. very great hotel. The pool is beautiful and large. Gym, pool bar, snacks. Concierge Rebecca super amazing. She has all the information you need. Some many things too do!! She reserved us a dinner cruise, scooter, jetski, parasailing, kayaking, paddle boarding etc. she has all the package deals!! With drinks and food included. It was my anniversary and this place exceeded our expectations. Rebecca provided excellent service as well as the front desk ladies. Everything is so close to this hotel!! Highly recommend!! If your looking for package water sports activities this the place!! They also provide free shuttle service to downtown, thats were all the activities will be at!

- Do not recommend

This is a horrible app. I downloaded to book a trip and when I paid, it said the payment didn’t go through and I needed to put in a second card number, which I did to get the booking. However, after contacting my bank and the hotel I found out that the first payment had already went through. Had to call three times to get the second card removed. During the ordeal, I realized that less than 24 hours after I made my booking the price of the room went down $50 dollars. They said they price match, so I sent an email and attached the two prices, but they wouldn’t refund me until after my stay. After my stay, I had to email the invoice and booking # TWICE to get the refund which isn’t even added back to the charged card but added to the wallet on the app. Would have been cheaper and less of a head ache to book directly through the hotel. Pointless and a waste of time

- Terrible app coupled with terrible customer service.

Me and my friends wanted to go to California for spring break so I booked a $250 room with booking. Turns out when I had chosen the date it had not saved after I had exited the in app calendar, instead it had booked me for that day instead of the date I wanted. I called the customer service and all the lady would tell me was that it wasn’t their fault because they were following the hotel policy. It wasn’t the hotel that was at fault, it was booking. They refused to give me a refund or book me for another date. Realizing i might be the one at fault, I went through the process again to make sure that I had done everything correctly. I entered the date I wanted again and exited the calendar and it went back to that day instead of the weekend I wanted. I have now lost $250 to company that will not take responsibility for their mistake. I will refuse to use this service ever again.

- First time guest

This was our first time to stay at this hotel. We selected it due to location which was perfect for the race we ran and access to the marina areas. We had a pool view first floor room... would NOT get this again... no privacy and very loud. They have some other pools and one that is quiet.. a room in that location would be great. They have harbor view/front rooms but save the money... The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. I liked having a bottle of water provided each night. The hotel was very loud... doors shutting and guest who appear to have never stayed at a hotel yelled down the halls at all hours... I invested in some ear plugs. Overall a good hotel, but there are others we like better.

- Small room-loud heater!

I’m not one to write bad reviews but this motel was honestly not the best. The room was WAY small and the rooms heater took forever to warm up too! To get to the closest you had to turn sideways and slide along side the bed squeezing all the way and I’m 5’2” and weigh 110 pounds. The heaters knobs were broken and my husband had to use a tool to adjust the settings. That wasn’t even the biggest problem either!! The heater made this horrible noise about every 5-10 mins so just as you would fall asleep that horrible noise would start happening! Both my husband and I had one of the worst nights sleep we had ever had due to this noise! Last but not least the breakfast they claim that comes free in the morning was not the best. After attempting to eat their “free” breakfast we ended up going out to eat instead!

- Fraud alert

When you cancel a booking one day prior to arrival and you are still charged for one nights stay this is fraud. The in app booking says one day prior. It is at this very moment still the day before. If these rooms were as represented but one of our party arrived early said the rooms were dank smelling and smelled of smoke but supposed to be non smoking room and the acoustic ceiling was bubbled off ceiling and saw signs of mold we decided to cancel. To be charged for this place is all wrong. If not I will use social media to express my dismay. Likewise if I’m satisfied I will pass that forward too. Have a good night/day. Mine was not pleasurable so far. Perhaps you should scout these out and make a new section called lower than dive.

- Stargate apartments

I stayed with you guys last week from Tuesday to Thursday and because I was enjoying your apartment so much we decided to stay an extra night I couldn’t suggest to anyone any more highly what a fantastic set of apartments you have. To have them serviced to go out and come back in to have your bed made , new towels are there , bins emptied etc. not just that feel so safe and secure in your apartments really means the world to have such a nice set of receptionists always at the front desk makes a world of difference and I know but I’ll be staying in the future whenever I need to get a break or whenever I need to stay in a hotel or an apartment Again. Maybe that’s why I’m staying there again this week coming for a couple of nights again you guys really do show what a true apartment should be

- Cheap, friendly, not much else

The Red Roof Hotel, nearby Dallas Fort Worth airport (in fact under the flight path) is really a motel, at best 1980s in style. The counter staff are friendly, and if you ask them something they will tell you. But almost zero information is volunteered. They have an assured clientele of flight staff, and are obviously not too bothered for other business. The room, though clean, has very little to commend it. The shower pressure is weak. There are no toiletries other than a soap bar and a single sachet of shampoo. My room had an ‘air conditioner’ which seemed to have no effect on the room, while the heater control had no control button: ‘It must have been stolen by some kid’, said the man asked to come and open the safe for me. (You can’t use the safe unless you ask for this service!) The ‘airconditioner’ made more noise than an airplane. Sleep was impossible with it on. Coffee is available at reception, otherwise there is no food at all. They rely on a ‘Denny’s’ next door, which offers every kind of fatty food you can imagine. This hotel is cheap by local standards. In every sense of the word.

- Great pyramid hotel Best kept secret in Egypt

This hidden gem is found direct across from the greatest view on earth the pyramids. The rooms are so spacious and so very clean. Fresh fruit and water are delivered daily for your enjoyment. The bathroom is also large and spacious. Decor is of high standard. What makes this hotel standout is the staff, the owner will go out of his way to ensure your time is spent well, he organised a tour for us with the guide Mohamed who spoke perfect English and a private car and driver Yassin who was safe careful and considerate at all times. Nothing and I mean nothing was to hard for these men to do to make our day great. Mohamed’s knowledge of Egyptian history is never ending as is Yasmin’s knowledge of how to get us from one place to another. Alli the restaurant manager was the most amazing personality he made us feel like a king and Queen for the minute we stepped in the restaurant he made the stay so enjoyable. The other staff could not be more polite helpful and willing to please So if you are looking to stay anywhere in Cairo this is the place to stay you will leave here knowing you came to Cairo and you saw all there is to see because you stayed with the best I am not paid by this hotel I was only a very happy guest Enjoy

- Sophisticated stunning surreal

This accomodation would have to be the most complete and beautiful place I have ever stayed in hands down . As a former International Flight attendant who has travelled the entire Qantas network , never have I stayed in such comfort. Everything has been thought about in terms of care and comfort ... the location was 10/10 .. but the villa .. was just Wow . Beautiful intricate little pieces .. a superb monopoly game that was just stunning :) overall this was high end sophistication .. right down to the owners who bent over backwards to look after me and every guest !! Amazing conserves in the fridge and beautiful cutlery! The Bath was handmade .. I can’t wait to return .. I would have loved to stay for a month !! Ps coco the dog was adorable .. I believe this place couldn’t improve ! 10/10 !

- Perfect Accommodations

I can’t say enough about this amazing place. The owners were friendly and welcoming, not to mention incredibly informative and ready to help make our stay perfect at every turn. We had a two bedroom apartment booked for our family of five. The apartment was affordable and very comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. The location feels like it’s in a perfect spot for fast travel to beaches, dining, or nearby attractions. There are at least two (that we found) lovely breakfast spots within a very short walk and more than that for dinner. Overall, Narooma Palms helped make our trip to Narooma a great one, with plenty of comfort and everything we wanted to do within a short walk or drive.

- OK but not helpful in fixing incorrect information

Bookings wrote to me and said that I had not showed up for one of the bookings I had made. I sent information confirming that I had used the hotel as planned and was informed that this had been confirmed by the hotel by the Bookings staff. I asked bookings to update my information and not to put “no show” on my booking records but they would not and could explain why. I asked several times but to no avail. I also noted that I gave a mixed review to a Hotel. It was fair, true and accurate and not disputed by the hotel. The response from the hotel was just rude and unpleasant rhetoric with no feedback about whether or how they would address the improvement areas. I noted that this was the way they dealt with less than glowing reviews from other posts. Bookings continues to recommend this hotel and permits the posting of rude comments on the website. It seems that Bookings perceives that hotel guests booking through the site are less important than hoteliers.

- Booking Assistant is absolutely infuriating

Everything is great except for the Booking Assistant, which is honestly the most useless function imaginable. Stupid lines like "What would you like to say? I'll pass it on to the property" and "I'll let you know as soon as they respond..." add absolutely nothing to the query except for annoyance and the fact that you in have to go through 2-5 prompts every single time you want to contact the property is utterly ridiculous. Not to mention that everything resets constantly and you have to go through all the prompts again just to reply to a message if you're on a slow connection, which you often are whilst travelling, is just infuriating. Why not just make a simple message thread for each booking and be done with it? The whole assistant thing is just unnecessary, annoying and tedious, ruining what is otherwise a great user experience.

- Worth the penny for what it was....

Booking into this I knew it would have been very Hostel like, afterall it was predominantly a Hostel accom with the option of booking your own tiny room with private bathroom. I however did not expect to have given a bunk in the room, rather just a single bed. This made sleeping a little less comfortable but as the title suggests it is what it is, for the money spent for this it was a steal! If you are a solo traveler who prefers to have their own room and bathroom but done on the Cheap, this is definitely the Cheapest of the Cheap option. Though don’t expect a hotel feel as it is a Hostel Dorm feel to it. Modern yet rustic! Centrally located to Central Station and practically walking distance to EVERYTHING. I hardly used the public transport as walking was extremely doable from this location. Thanks Urban House, I had a nice stay.

- 1 night stay

The good: The room was clean, the bed was comfy and was good for one night stay. Room has a mini bar fridge, coffee/tea making facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Not so good: if you are a light sleeper like myself then this is not a place to have a restful night, rooms are above the main bar and on a busy highway. I checked in at 11pm so only had 1 hour of the bar noise but I woke up a few times with the car noises and people walking on the corridors. But I kind of expected that when I booked myself into a “Pub/Hotel”. It reminded of a backpackers type of accomodation so perhaps there could be a cheaper rate for solo travellers when you share the bathroom ? Eg $60 instead of $90

- Great Location

Overall our stay here was O.K. The location was amazing with about a two minute walk and you were at the Ganges. It was near a great evening ceremony as well. The restaurant was good and the rooms service prices were very reasonable, as were their laundry rates. The thing that let them down the most was the shower and the bed. After a long day out all you really want is a comfortable bed and a nice warm shower, unfortunately we could have neither. The shower constantly ran out of hot water even though we left the geyser on for over an hour and I mean ran out after you had just washed your hair so you had to do the rest in the cold water. The bed we stayed in was extremely hard which had you constantly rolling over all night and the pillow gave no comfort. Overall it was an ok hotel but just could not get a good nights sleep.

- Amazing place!

This apartment has the absolute Wow factor: it is stylish, luxurious, comfortable and the view is out of this world! We spend 3 nights here and would have liked to stay longer! The beds are so comfortable you never want to get up, but then there is the large balcony overlooking the sea as far as the eye can reach and the infinity pool. All the amenities are there, it is truly home away from home. It is close to the ferry, centrally located near to shops and restaurants, but facing the other way so nice and quiet. I can highly recommend apartment 5203 with lift on the second floor in the last building of the Bright Point apartments. Only minus that there is no free wifi.

- Bowerbird cottage

I have been coming to these cottages for over 6 years now and have noticed the womanly touches have almost disappeared, with so many beautiful blooming camellias all around you would think just one real flower in there wouldn’t be to much to ask for. I found it a little depressing with all the dark furniture. Black cough dark blue rug black throw rug and the one brown cushion on the cough . The bath room now has visible mould as the vent doesn’t work. As I know the location is a national park the entrance to the cabins has turned into a play ground for children on the left as you come in and a storage area , with large un sightly shipping containers visible not to mention the stock pile next to the reception area. I guess what really topped it off for me is the best before dates on the cereal left for us . One was out by 7 days and the other 25 days out... so sad :(

- Room with a view

Booked accommodation based on information, and photos of the view...cost was not an issue. Upon arrival we were handed our key. Our room was on the first floor. First issue upon exiting was housekeeping having linen etc lined up in the walkway and the linen trolley in front of our designated room door. Once we entered the room, my husband and I were so disappointed..the room/view we paid for based on the above was looking directly into a tree across the road...we could scarcely see the ocean. I contacted reception who immediately changed our room to the 7th floor with the most spectacular view...thank you Nicki for looking after us.

- Recommend this .. clean, comfortable, great breakfast

Just an overnighter for our trip from Joshua Tree to Yosemite, so other that the location being easy to find from the highway, we can’t really comment on the location as we were only there for 12 hrs. But a great clean room, large and had all that was needed. Only negative is that we would have liked the foldout bed to be made up for us instead of having to do it as we did book for 5 so they new we would be needing to use it, and making a bed in a hotel room isn’t what we should be doing. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff were nice. would stay again

- Excellent Family Accommodation

We have just returned from a family holiday and it was everything we hoped for and more. The units were modern, clean and amazing well stocked with everything you need. The location is perfect, just out of Surfers paradise, (so nice and quiet) but only a 15 min walk if you want to head to the centre and the cafes and restaurants. Free unlimited WIFI. Lovely pool area and a Car parking on site. The hosts Jodie and Ben were fantastic, could not be more helpful during our stay (even was on hand when my dad set fire to the BBQ) sorry. We will definitely return for our next stay on the Gold Coast.. as it is the best units we have stayed in.

- Central comfortable quiet clean

I look at the view out the back it’s is directly looking over some train tracks. There is an expectation that it might be noisy?? I leap out of my skin at the sound of a train whistle blowing, doesn’t make a sleepy noise ....... Close the doors dumby! Double glazing? That night I sleep 11 hours. The bedroom has no external windows and is nice and dark and so quiet. I stayed 4 nights in total every day the lovely girls on reception get me a taxi or extra milk. I get locked out wearing only a towel. Thanks for your help Room keeping ladies!! I have no problem recommending these apartments. Who ever owns them or manages them must be a nice person or the staff wouldn’t be so fine.

- Very friendly and super clean!

I highly recommend this property. I let them know that I would be arriving very late; and they texted me how to obtain the room key and gain access to the building’s secure car park, in which there is an allocated parking spot. The studio room (no spa bath) is HUGE so much so, it far more than comfortably fits two queen size beds; a built in wardrobe (with blankets, iron, ironing board, and a clothing / towel airer-dryer stand). There’s a huge L-shape modular lounge, a TV, a dining table setting for 4, and an equipped kitchen with a microwave, fridge, cutlery, cups, plates, knifes, and some cooking utensils (note: no dishwasher or oven). They provide two toilet roles (expectation is you will bring your own if staying for a while); they provide tea-towels, dishcloths, detergent; as well as bath towels, and small toiletries. The location is ideal and very much within walking distance to Merimbula shops. A very comfortable stay. While I was a single traveller on business; this room would be suitable to fit a couple of young kids, their toys and belongings, with enough room to move.

- Not what I expected

So many issues - first, room stunk of cigarette smoke and was dreadfully hot on a very muggy day. The ac was old. I asked to change room and for my money returned (as I was going to find another venue) and was told I couldn’t get money returned so accepted a room on a lower floor. This room still smokey and the hallway had old musty smell. There were no lamps in the room, no extras at all. Bed was incredibly uncomfortable and hard. TV although new had no connection for half of stay. They need to do a lot to make this more appealing. Also no phone in the room to connect to front desk so have to go down to mostly unattended office to get assistance. Very disappointed for what was meant to be a relaxing night this was stressful. On a positive note they did change rooms and fix tv on second go. Staff were pleasant and tried to help.

- Querini an amazing place

I have an issue I want to tell the world how good Quierini suites are but in actual fact I want to keep it too myself so each time I visit Chania it is at my disposal. There are no words to describe the hospitality and friendliness shows to us by Manolis the owner, on our second day in Chania Manolis delivered an orange cake straight from the oven made by his mother it was delicious. Ww cannot fault this beautiful Suite, it was clean, luxurious and tastefully designed to complement Chania town. There was a private roof top court yard with a spa, we used the courtyard every evening having a glass of wine and looking out to the town it was amazing l. We had our suite cleaned daily with fresh towels replaced each day and breakfast delivered to our suite each morning fit for a king. The Querini suites are located in the town square of old Chania town, only a few minutes walk to the harbour. Even though there is no front reception desk Manolis was at out disposal 24/7 if we needed anything and happy to assist and suggest areas to visit. We will definitely be coming back😊👍

- Wonderful staying experience

Love this little cozy cute ryokan style hotel. Surrounded by beautiful temples, right in the centre of the Gion’s amazing sites. It has a little Japanese style garden, has everything that you would love for an unique garden. Location is the key for this hotel to be considered, then you will be amazed by its cleanness and unique features. Absolutely love it. My son actually asked me to return to this place whenever we visit Kyoto again. Highly recommended! And to Hero (a staff member in the hotel, sorry if we spelled your name wrong), you are actually a real hero to our family, thanks for your lovely service.

- Good but not perfect

A couple of points: I have travel a lot and I mainly use booking .com. main reason, ease of use but on saying that they can do better. Example: you make a booking , which I did today, booked a room with two friends, there is nowhere, once booked , where I can double check the room details. how many beds etc...quite lacking. Eg: as we are a group of 3 women , I remember it being 1 single bed but can’t remember if the other was a double or queen, and nowhere can I see the room details once booked. The other thing, personally, I think there should be 1 payment method throughout. As an example, two years ago we walked the el Camino in Spain, I booked a little isolated place via b.c The establishment asked for cash, a couple of days later I noticed they had also ,in tandem charged my credit card. On holiday I didn’t chase it up as we were on the move every day, that is a flaw in the system. In this day and age and with worry about online cheating and outright fraud I think a uniform payment arrangement should be in place, if not, some kind of safeguard.

- Happy Days

We booked a night to finish off our Gt Ocean Road trip. The motel is quite dated but nice and clean and comfortable. The front of the premises is a little cafe and when we arrived they were shutting up shop for the night. However when we told them we were hungry they rushed through an order for fish and chips and hamburgers and oh my goodness - they were beautiful! They even delivered the food to our rooms. The location was also good. After demolishing dinner we walked down to the water and photographed a stunning sunset. The following day we took a run down to the town and over to the island. A beautiful part of the country! Not a 5 star furnished room but certainly 5 star service!

- We’re friends again...

Ok so last year we were checking out of a resort in Thailand where it ended up taking 2 hours as there was a discrepancy with the final cost. Long story short, after speaking with you guys 3 times on the phone and being hung up on.....we finally found out that it was the resort at fault. We did end up paying the amount that we originally booked for and I am now booking our trip for next year through you guys again (it will be a total of 7 different hotels!) this app has been fantastic and I just want to say thanks for making my job easier in booking all of it! Keep looking after us please, we really do appreciate it!

- Seaview Studio Fannie Bay

My wife and I are 70yo pensioners who have just returned from a truly wonderful 10 days in Darwin!! Our hosts were gems and the seafront unit clean, comfortable, pool and well priced for the high season. The location was super for us in that bus stops were 100 metres away (and free for pensioners); several first class eating experiences within walking distance and wonderful walking trips in abundance (including the incredible Botanical Gardens and Mindil Beach Markets). Most of all the sunsets were spectacular. We noticed a comment regarding noise in a review of your property, even US and RAAF jet manoeuvres didn’t lessen the enjoyment of our stay. Thanks Angela, hopefully see you again next dry season. Brian and Jenny from Brisbane.

- Everything you need but small.

Rooms were clean with a decent bathroom and were in a good location for restaurants/attractions. The room also had good wifi and complimentary coffee/tea. The room itself however, was quite small. Even with just 2 people on their it became uncomfortable. There was limited space for our luggage and as such we were tripping over each other. This gets a little frustrating after a few days. Overall this would be a good place for solo travellers or guests that only wish to use the room for sleeping and showering.

- Viewing my current bookings shows old bookings

I’m trying to view my current bookings but on my iPhone 7 Plus with the latest version of the app, when I press the bookings icon at the bottom of the screen I just see very old bookings listed from 10 years ago. It takes ages to update but eventually it shows the current books. 2 months or so ago I’m sure it didn’t do this. I don’t mind if it shows future books first as I don’t have too many of these, but I have loads of old ones which I’m happy to still be able to view if I want them but just not the first ones I see.

- TripAdvisor FIRST, Booking second

I ALWAYS use TripAdvisor to check out accommodation and other travel details because of the authentic travellers' reviews. I take a broad review of reviews (you'll always get those who whinge about everything), and try myself to give balanced appraisals of lodgings and other travel ideas (so far I've only had to give one damning report- check out LA Bus tours using my profile). Now that TripAdvisor has revamped their booking options, I rarely bother to go outside of this App for bookings. TripAdvisor, you've done well!!!

- Okay but disappointing every day ...

Well, we stayed one week in a bungalow superior. First impression , staff very friendly, bungalow with amazing view, beautiful pool... we were super happy. But then we realised the housekeeper didn’t changed the sheet every day. The 3rd day I had to put the sheet on the floor to have a new one . In one week she changed the shower gel, conditioner and soap only once . •The food is very disappointing (frozen and long service) . •The tv doesn’t work. •No wifi. •We wanted to do kayak (the only activity they offer in the resort ), only one is appropriate the another you have all water in it. ( when you know there is a lot jellyfish in the lagoon you don’t want to take the risk ) . •We ate 4 times in the restaurant . And the last day when I wanted to pay the bill . The waitress forgot the last dessert on the bill ( she could at least offer it ) we booked one week in a bungalow superior . Ate 4 times a the restaurant . (And ordered the fresh lobster the last night ) . I mean they could at least do a discount . Very disappointing the last day . Fortunately we stayed only a week .

- D’wina villa Kuta

Me and my friend booked a week at D’wina Villa and DID NOT get what we paid for, the pool was filled with green filthy slush that we could not use, no hot water, there was mould growing on the walls, linens and towels that are stained and doors that did not lock. We felt unsafe and quite taken advantage of as we are young 19 year old girls and when we asked to be refunded so we could stay somewhere else the manager said no and offered only one night at a nicer place for us to stay. When we spoke to him he was rude and did not care for our wellbeing or care for what we had to say. It was a terrible villa, I do not recommend this place AT ALL. I am so disappointed and shattered as young girls we saved for a long time for this trip and were treated terribly. Here are pictures of the villa we were forced to sleep in.

- Mornington Hotel

Wow, I’ve traveled to over 44 countries around the world and stayed in many hotels around the world. This hotel with all its facilities and services should be a raw model for many other hotels to learn from. What an excellent value for money. Awesome quality room with everything your heart desires.. everything new and clean. Really happy as this is what other hotels should be doing for all their guests. Excellent service with friendly staff. Great parking facilities. Perfect for anyone as I highly recommend this hotel! Should be awarded 5 stars! Thank you!

- Excellent Hotel

My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at the Park Plaza Nuremberg. The lobby had free lemon water available and the hotel staff were so kind and very helpful with recommendations if you’re looking for places to eat. Our rooms were very clean with lots of space and comfortable beds. The breakfast selection was also 10/10. I would definitely stay here again, we were close to the old town and across the road from the train station which made getting around very easy. Highly recommend!

- The Briarwood, Daylesford. Victoria

Our stay was for a family wedding, booked The Briarwood in Sept not thinking we would use the open fire.... with unseasonable weather it was a lovely cozy touch. The lounge a touch small for 5 adults but very comfortable. The cottage had 3 lovely bedrooms, the kitchen was a delight with modern fittings and well stocked. The bathroom was modern with heated flooring a joy at 5-9 degree nights ( unseasonal for Nov) 2 toilets. In warmer weather the BBQ & yard would be a lovely setting. In short a lovely surprise on entering. Highly recommend if you are staying in Daylesford with a easy 700mtr walk to town. Julie

- Friendly people and great service

I loved my stay during my time. The host not only provided a clean room, delicious breakfast but also helped me organise my trips. What impressed the most is that they care about you more than just a guest. I was so unwell on the first day. The lovely host was so concerned and made me honey lemon water to help me sleep. All the services (that a hotel should have) aside, lovely staff and the host have made me believe that there are so many lovely people out there and we must live, trust and love! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️overall great experience with them!!!

- Don’t trust the “offers”

I finally accepted the refer a friend offer 5 months ago after years of unsolicited emails. The offer was a $25 each bonus after staying in certain properties. After the stay was complete the “automatic” bonus never appeared. I contacted customer service and was told to submit bookings, receipts etc. After doing this another two months went by before I contacted them again. I was told to submit all the information again which I did. I was then told the bonus would be paid in 7 days. That was 2.5 months ago. Worst, most disinterested customer service ever and from my experience the “refer a friend” offer is basically a scam. There are a lot of professional online booking services. Use them instead.

- App needs some refinement

We used this app often on our trip. But it seems like the developers aren’t travellers themselves. It’s rather annoying that when we are offline (because not everyone can afford to roam) the app tells us we are offline. Not just once, but sometimes there can be about 10 pop ups. Imagine this: you’re at an airport trying to explain to your taxi driver where your hotel is... hold on while I close these 15 dialog boxes that keep telling me what I already know: I’m offline! Last night I was searching for a place, it was great. I almost booked it, but then I realised I entered the wrong dates. The only way to correct this is to re-enter the search criteria with the correct dates and hope that I can find my hotel again. Seriously, who tested this UX? Another super annoying feature is that if you accidentally click on a link that opens the app, what ever you were doing vanishes. Like completely gone, so good luck finding what you were doing before, there is no back button. Fuuuuuuuu! Hope you enjoyed the review 😘

- John & Michelle

We stayed at the point for two nights and it was really really good. The rooms were clean with a great view, the pool area is awesome with an even better view. Staff were great, very friendly and very very helpfull. We hired scooters from them for real cheap and they filled them up with fuel each night. The road up is a little worse for ware as you need to dart off the main drag to get there but all roads are the same as soon as you get off the main drag. All in in a good place to stay if you keen for a sick view.

- Kia the Manager went above and beyond

In my life over hundreds of overnight stays I have never encountered such polite, professional and understanding management. This filtered throughout all staff and it was easily seen that the Manager in charge “KIA” is a great role model. My 10yr old son was rushed to Westmead Sydney trauma unit after a serious motor cross accident. Kia was so helpful and understanding, she went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after in every aspect. I have never experienced such wonderful service from an accommodation provider. Kia is a credit to your organisation and is a beautiful caring person. Kia is not just a manager, she has a big heart and her gratitude will be remembered for a very long time. A total credit and asset to your business is Kia. I will be always returning to SKYE Parramatta based on this experience and highly recommend to all. Many thanks from Shane room 407 Sunday 10th May 2020.

- Terrible reception @ Citadine Munich

I booked the property indicating 4 persons and only left my 2 yr old infant during booking and the staff was very rude - they looked at my 2 yr old and said he should have been indicated in the booking as a 5th person which would have disqualified the apartment that got booked under my name The reception lady was completely ridiculous and quoting stupid examples to justify her stance All other properties treat 2 yr old or less as infants and don’t make it mandatory to be included as an additional person for booking purposes Completely pathetic experience with the reception lady and her lousy explanations Will definitely not book this one again and will ensure that all my friends circle is aware that the administration at this property are a bunch of idiots

- Great App but too many updates required.

I have found the App easy to book with but it is hard for me with my limited tech knowledge to link my bookings to my account so I miss out on rewards. I think it is actually easier to ring up and book and ask them to credit my account. Also, as I have limited internet, I do find it annoying that there are constantly updates required. It is one of the highest maintenance apps I have in terms of constantly having to waste my limited internet on updates. Please combine some of these updates so we don’t have to do it every few weeks.

- Not a 4 star hotel

Very old building and room, had to kill a few big cockroaches in bathroom in our 7 night stay. Bed linen was never clean, they were being washed but had multiple stains everywhere seemed to be blood that needed bleech or replace. Towels were worn out to the point threads were loose and some had little holes, they surely needed replace. Breakfast serving was nightmare, expect 15 min waiting for every order you make, unless on crowded days when they make it buffet. WiFi only works in lobby and not the rooms.

- Best booking App

Fantastic booking app ever, highly recommend, easy to use and understand, no hidden icons you cannot find, easy to manage bookings in advance and instantly contacts hotels for you, also recommends places of interest within the areas of travel if you wish, plus recommend certain accomodation styles to your preference, we have used this now for overseas trip managing a few locations and short stays within km of home, cannot recommend it highly enough!!

- Good location and rates

I stay at the Adina regularly for business because it is well situated, rates are good, staff friendly and facilities good. There are meal options from local restaurants - delivered to the hotel and added to the bill plus breakfast is available but I use local restaurants for breakfast. You could argue that a hotel upgrade in a year or two might be needed and the lack of dinner facilities makes the hotel feel a bit glum and neglected but for the room rates and facilities it is a top pick.

- Works well except for twin rooms

This app is very useful and works well with quick confirmations. Also prices for rooms are the same as booking yourself or sometimes cheaper. The only difficulty I have is booking a twin room( room for two people, but two beds). The app only allows a search by two people so it brings up all the properties with only a double bed available so you have to sort through them all. I have tried using three people as a search but that excludes those places offering just two single beds!

- Good value for short stay

Room as described. They have kettle and microwave but in the reception hall not in the room. First night was freezing cold and we called the receptionist but was told it would be warmer as they set it up but nothing happened. We talked to him again then following nights were not as bad. Good location. 4 mins walk from metro station. Walking distance to Colosseo and 10 mins walk from central termini. Not many restaurants on the street but walking further a bit can find mini supermarkets which is handy. Recommended for short stay.

- Hunter valley family wedding

All 21 members of our family stayed here to attend my daughters wedding at Petersen House just up the road a bit. Great location, clean and good size rooms. Staff were very helpful and great facilities. We used the gym, spa, pool and the children enjoyed a movie on our last evening there. Only complaint would be is that breakfast wraps very expensive at $39 per person and children as young as 5 $18 a head. Just don’t eat that much. Could be a better more affordable family option.

- Overnight at Ocean Shore Hotel

We stayed two nights in this hotel on two separate occasions last week. It is a lovely hotel with views of the foreshore and ocean. The staff are extremely hard working helpful pleasant and efficient. They are a pleasure to meet and any queries we had were quickly resolved. The restaurant on site was very convenient. Breakfast was delicious and the choice of evening meals on the menu was very varied. The evening meals are cooked off premises at a local restaurant and then delivered to the hotel. They were hot delicious and well presented. The rooms were clean and the beds extremely comfortable. The car park at the rear of the hotel is secured and access to the hotel is convenient with the lift near the entrance. I would stay at this hotel again if I return to Geraldton and thoroughly recommend it for its quality of service and cleanliness.

- Great accommodation - poor communication

I stayed for 3 nights with my work colleague in November . I hadn’t read the fine print about having a credit card. Thankfully she had one. I don’t own one . We had to use hers to secure the room on checkin but the money has never been refunded back to her card. I’ve sent about 10 emails and all just get ignored . I feel terrible as I booked the trip and we had a lovely stay at the haven. The rooms are amazing and the pools lovely and clean . But I’m annoyed that she’s now out of pocket and I’m not even getting a courtesy explanation as to why this is not being refunded.

- Ramada encore

OMG where to start The staff here are amazing from when you first walk in and until you leave. It was an absolute pleasure staying here. I would hope anyone reading this thinks the same after their stay. The rooms are kept very clean and tidy. So many food choices either for breakfast or dinner. I definitely have to give the chef a big two thumbs up 👍👍 for the amazing food served to me. I would highly recommend this establishment to any foreign travelers. I will be back

- Love!

I’ve used this app so many times and recommend it to all my friends. It’s really easy to make quick bookings no matter what country or area you are in, and the prices are great! Also you can save your bookings so if you go overseas without internet you can still know where you’re going and be able to book in. Plus being a Genius Level 2 member like I am means that you get even more great deals and nice upgrades! Thanks guys!

- Excellent

Just beautiful !! Hosts could not be more helpful The decor is great and the house is cosy and comfortable will be back for sure and will highly recommend to anyone you won’t be disappointed There’s nothing negative to say about this property at all !! And to be able to have our dog in tow was another big plus from someone that has avoided this type of accommodation and usually goes to Anuka and opal cove resort I would pick this over those any day !!!!

- Twenty out of five stars

I almost don’t want to leave a review because this place is such a gem and quite undervalued. I would stay here at twice the price. Central location, newly renovated and spacious flats, fully stocked kitchen, and very attentive managers. Can’t go wrong. Good for families and romantic getaways. Simply amazing.

- Best view pyramide Hôtel

Very easy to use to make a reservation

- This app is a lifesaver

I’ve been using booking.com for 2 years now for all business related trips. I’ve never had an issue, I’ve dealt with customer service for accidental bookings and it’s just been a breeze the whole time. Will continue using this app!

- Love this site!

I was nervous to book a hotel through FlightHub. Once I made the reservation booking.com popped up on my screen confirming it. I knew I was safe with this reservation once I saw that.

- The Best B&B We’ve Ever Stayed At!

From the views to the hospitality you will not be disappointed staying here. It is clean and comfortable and quite possibly the nicest bed we’ve ever slept in on our travels. Comfortable mattress, pillows and the softest sheets ever! The breakfast they serve is top notch. We will absolutely be staying here the next time we come to Port Alice.

- Best bookings ALWAYS

We love booking.com they always have great choice with a wide range of options such as price, property, deals and suggestions. It’s easy to find comments and reviews. Thank you for being such a wonderful experience.

- Easy to Use

It’s simple. That’s what makes the app great

- Convenient..

Super fast.. reputable and safe.

- Great place

I stayed here in 2018 and it was wonderful! My bus didn’t arrive until the middle the night, I woke him up to get into the room super early... he was still friendly! Haha the room was clean and just perfect for me! The breakfast was simple yet just enough to start my day... he arranged my Ha Long cruise, had a bicycle for me to use, arranged a tour guide for me for the day... downfall was it was far from anything, no restaurants close by. It was clean and quiet and a great place to stay!

- Covid cancelation

I am from Canada and was looking forward to going to Louisville last week. However the borders between Canada and USA are closed to visitors until Nov 27/20 at a minimum. These people were a pleasure to do my booking and even better to do a late cancellation with no hassles. I will continue to do all my bookings in the future with this super company

- Great

Awesome

- Super easy and convenient

On a road trip with my boyfriend and we are living out of our van but every once and a while it is nice to have a hotel. This app is super easy to use and so convenient! Never had any problems which hotels not getting our booking even when we show up and hour after booking it!
