Atlas 2010 Pro. Total waste of 99 cents! You really don't get anything more with it if you already have the free version. What you see on the free version is what you get. Only the pictures are bigger. This is not an atlas at all. This is a bigger picture of a big map. Very disappointed.

Not to shabby. It's a great tool to learn your geography. Only problem is the stars do not necessarily mark the capital cities but the biggest cities such as with Mayanmar.

Don't waste your money!. This app gives you general, broad maps of the world and DOES show countries and states, BUT that's it!! It is totally WORTHLESS as an atlas. You cannot zoom into a US state to do any research and it shows nothing besides the name of the state and it's capital. If you are looking for a reliable, USEFUL atlas app, KEEP LOOKING!!!!!

A good, quick mobile map reference. I use this app whenever I need a quick, on-the-go map reference. It works well and is simple to use.

Umm..?. Real laggy an always crashes. Needs more information like roads cities and stuff like that. To plain and regular for a paid app. There's one dollar that went to the wind.

Bad atlas. This atlas is badly managed, you can not see much and you can not go back from area to area. In short this atlas is bad and doesn't worth it

Very good. Would be better if it was a universal app so it would work better on the iPad. Very useful.

Needs more detail, and seem less transitions between areas.. Needs to be an all in one globe that can zoom in. I paid the $1.99 dollars for the “more detailed”, and I did not find it to be that much more detailed. It will be much better if one could see the land from one region to the next without having to tap on a different area. The old National Geographic world Atlas has it right, but they have stopped updating it. I use maps like these not only to teach, but to give perspective to others about where my country/state is, and vacations as well.

Atlas. I find it useful. Would like a helpful to have a search tool for school children to use.

OK AS A BASIC WORLD MAP. This app has been on my iPhone since I got the larger screen models like my current 6S+. It’s a quick reference for a check of where countries and major cities are world wide. Additionally the rendering of topographical features is good to know since the topography of a country or region often shapes its human history. Example is Iraq versus Iran. Iraq is largely a ‘flat’ territory where Iran is more mountainous. I give this app only 3 stars because it’s a Swiss Army Knife (SAK). Well constructed for a quick geography lesson or context in the relative placement of nation states. BUT...ill suited for any rigorous study of national state boundaries within world geography. I’ll keep this app on my iPhone cuz my (2) different model SAKs are still handy in a drawer if I misplace my more versatile multi-tool.

The App Should Not Cost Money. In fact, it should be free. It’s a very general source of information and does not allow a user to dig into specific locations or even regions. I’m pretty disappointed with the lack of depth.

First Time User. Moving from one map sheet to another does not seem to be very intuitive😞

Not continuous. I need to be able to continually scroll across the atlas. This is too segmented.

What am I missing here?. This could be the worst app ever! There is no detail to view. I was looking for something that would provide some detail offline, but this is not it.

A very dependable and useful app. It’s my globe on the go. Have used it for years. Great for quickly figuring out just where a country is.

Okay if you are in the Third Grade. This application works fine, if you are in the Third Grade and want to get the "big" picture of the world. However, if you are looking for an Atlas that will zoom in to give you a more detailed picture, keep looking. I am very disappointed with this application.

Boo! Paid 4 full app, 1 new map. I have had free version for awhile, it's great. I was impressed with offline capability. Finally decided to buy the full version hoping it get more maps with more details. Nope!🤔 Got only one new map, nothing great. Disappointed😢

Atlas. Great! No more guessing about the true location of that country you were sure was "right over there!"

Maps too limited. Poor navigation. The maps are very simple - more like jpgs you can zoom in some on. Not much detail. And if you want to go from one region to another, you have to completely exit the program.

Atlas. Well the only difference I can see between the free version and the for sale edition is that there is a "back" mark for returning to the previous screen on the for sale edition. However it might be worth the $0.99

It's Just Maps. But I like maps. This app gives you some nice regional maps, an international time zone maps, and 2 world maps. It isn't Google Earth but if just want a quick look at a map to figure out what country borders another or some similar question, this app is better. If you want Google Earth get it, it's very nice too.

Atlas 2018 Pro. This App is garbage for the price. I don't know why I bought this.

Atlas 2010 Pro. Disappointed - Expecting more map details in full version. Should list smaller city names.

Great to have easy access to maps of the world at your beck and call any time to verify facts.. Easy to use and quick access to geographical data at your fingertips always. I love it!!!

Very disappointing. This is the Pro version of World Atlas. The maps provided are rudimentary at best with almost no enhanced detail with zooming. Definitely NOT worth the money.

Thanks. Offers the world at our fingertips and for existing on such small devices is pretty well created.

Very basic maps. Ok for seeing where countries and a few cities are located as well as get sense of some basic physical geography. But not much detail. Not really even worth $2. You can easily find similar free maps on the internet.

Love maps. This is a really wonderful app! I am the kind of person who is absolutely obsessed with maps, so to be able to have a whole atlas in my iPhone is fantastic

Not a good Application!. This application has nothing to offer. It's almost the same as its free version. You cannot really zoom in to find any details. I do not recommend it at all!

Atlas. Great atlas! I like having the convenience of a world map on my iPhone.

Atlas User. Like many Americans, I'm embarrassed by my ignorance of world geography. That's why I refer to this app repeatedly. Not a detailed atlas, this app quickly helps to locate little known countries.

Great!. Easy to use, always at your fingertips. Granted, it is not too detailed but it pulls you out of tight spots quickly!!

Misleading, useless. I wanted an Atlas, something I could use to assist with trip planning. This app is useless for that. I don't know how they can get away with calling these detailed maps. I didn't look at the rest of the world but for the state maps in the United States the most detail shown is the boundaries of the state with a few of the cities names within that state. There are no interstates, highways, or roads of any kind. If you try to zoom in on a city the dot just gets bigger, no maps of cities. Don't waste your money!

So far, lacks versatility. Upon opening, I had the choice of political or physical map. I chose physical but now I see no way to switch to political. This is a badly needed upgrade. The map, itself, is clear enough for general use, but lacks real detail.

Rubbish!!!. Maybe the creators of this app never did geography, but i highly doubt they have never seen an atlas before. Either that or maybe I have bought an underground version of an atlas which somehow survived the mass book burning that our goverments were behind to make us believe that all countries have no more than a handful of cities.

Disappointing. This app needs a lot of work before it can claim being an atlas. Perhaps start by increasing detail on zoom.

Review Atlas. Not a good buy. Actually, it's a pretty poor app. Would not recommend.

What happened?. I just did the latest update and now it's completely unusable. Stuck in portrait mode with a half blank screen. How do updates like this get released? What a joke.

Basic. I wish there was a possibility to zoom in, view more details and see the scale of the maps. Overall it is a very basic product that does not go far enough to be truly useful.

$1 for an Image. It's basically a group of images. There is potential (more zoom, more cities, etc) but this means more effort. Best to wait for a meaningful update.

Mr. Not worth buying

Not quite there. The app has potential but is very basic. Constructive critisism: 1. The back arrow at the top left of the screen is exeedingly difficult to notice. Once found it works well, but... 2. There is no search function, so unless you know where to look for something you will not find it unless by chance. 3. There is no homogeneity between maps - some are grey and show mountain ranges and borders are depicted as just lines, whilst other maps are coloured and flat. 4. There is no zoom in function that allows for more detail on a particular country beyond the original basic capital city or two. 5. There is a Timezone map, which could be linked to the iPhone Clock so that it made it more practical. As it is it is just a rudimentary flat world map with red lines that tell the reader little. In all honesty I would not buy it again for $1.19. I am not after a pocket atlas that is very 'fancy' but this is not quite even that. It requires a lot of tweeking.

Maps. Maps is too simplistic in that one can't zoom into detail of state boundaries, major transport routes, rivers and general topography. 'Google maps' and 'Maps' provide a good easy alternative. More should be done to use the opportunity of starting with a general large scale map and zooming down to focus on each country's detail.

My Mistake.... ...there IS a back button. A hard to see arrow in the top left corner.Just well hard to spot! Cheers...

Map of the World. This atlas is "ok". It would be better, much better, if it could be 'broken down' (physical map) into countries showing their capital cities.

The Atlas. Very basic maps! Poor value for money!! Needs to be improved!!!

Basic. The paid version has no more features or functionality than the free version. The only difference being that with the paid version you don't get adverts. This atlas is very basic. It shows the countries of the world, has a timezone map and a geographical map (although this is cut up & is not viewable as a whole of the world). As you zoom in you can see the map better as it is larger but there is no extra detail. The back button disappears after a while.

I like The Atlas. It's very convenient - I can use it while I'm talking to my father on the phone. The only things I miss are some distance scales.

Atlas 2012 Pro. A great program, easy to use and very comphrehensive.

Ol. Needs more city names, major rivers, islands & ZOOM. After all isnt that what an app atlas is supposed to be.

Atlas 2010 Pro. What a joke and rip off. It barely has the capability to zoom into a capital city and yet it is called "Pro". What a waste of time amd effort. Knowing what i know now i wouldnt download it if it was free.

Complete rubbish. Not worth downloading even if it was free. No detail in the maps. Watch you see in the screenshots is as detailed as it gets. Nothing 'Pro' about this at all. Avoid like the plague.

Pretty basic. It's OK for a quick reminder of where some country is, but otherwise level of detail is not useful for anything else. It shows basic state and provincial capitols only

World map. Don't get much

Don't buy. The bought version is the same detail of the free version, which is not very much...

It's ok.... It is very basic and doesn't allow you to move freely over continents. It would be more useful if you could.

Pretty great map app!. Easy to use, like all the different features. I like the time zone feature a lot. Could be a little more detailed, and would be nice to see more than 1section at a time but overall a great app.

Atlas. After an update it is not functioning as efficiently as previous version. Very disappointing. I would gladly pay for a better version if it was available with a guarantee.

More care is required. Major geological features missing. One example: The South Saskatchewan river. Another: Missplaced Great Lakes.

Atlas 2013 Pro update colossal screw up!!. Ever since the update, the display is in portrait mode and displays half screen ( the bottom portion is a white screen). What the hell happened? Waste of my money.

Crashes. When I try to open the Detailed World Map, the app crashes. (iOS 6.1.6)

Well.... It's a start. Hopefully more complexity will be included such as borders within countries delineating provinces/states. More detailed maps and so on. Right now it is just a bunch of pictures of countries. AND, by the way, we all know where the U.S. is located. If you are going to name continents - don't put countries in there! I wouldn't recommend this app until more improvements are made.
