Love this app. Love this app it has helped with communication for our son.

I've been waiting for this! Yay!. I had retired myself to huge memory-sucking sign language apps for the iPhone and iPad, and then this comes along and completely changes everything. I love it. I haven't used it very much yet, but I love what I have seen so far. And I LOVE that it takes up very little memory but offers so many words. I guess my only wish would be the ability to put in a sentence and have the signs all line up and show themselves to me. But, that may be asking too much, so I'll take what I can get and be happy.

I like this app, but .... I like this app. Shows different uses for for the same word, shows many idioms, and common phrases, and putting a looping feature was great improvement. However, ever since the last update, that loop feature stopped working! Would appreciate it of anyone would tell me how to fix it! Thanks. Thanks so much for fixing the loop feature! I really enjoy this app. I like how they have many different uses for a word. How about the word settle? Settle down and be quiet, settle in this area meaning lived there, the salt will settle to the bottom. This word is spelled the same, sounds the same, but has different meanings or concepts so there is a different sign for each concept. Example sentences would be cool for this app. Thanks so much for all the work you do. :)

Love this app!. This app is the best app ever!!!

Very helpful with deaf brother in law. This app has an extensive dictionary and the loop feature is very helpful. I use this all the time and recommend it highly.

Solid App for the Price; Hopefully to Improve. A good app. One major thing for me is that it doesn't explain similar signs—how they differ, or if they ARE the same and one can figure it out by context. For example I just looked up “day in and day out (everyday)” and it looks like another sign I’ve seen. Unfortunately I’m worried about doing it wrong. No one is here to help me move fwd.

Not super helpful. As many other people have said, these signs are either outdated or incorrect. My friend who speaks fluently in asl had no clue what I was saying.

Useful. My first app that I paid for and well worth the money. Love this ASL dictionary.

Some sign wrong!. I look on your asl some wrong word! No perfect!

Not bad, but one major annoyance. Very comprehensive dictionary, nice search feature, and the price is right. But there is one major annoyance: the signs are all videos (as opposed to some other ASL apps that use animations) so it takes a second or two for each sign to load. To save space the videos are cropped very short. And they only play once before returning immediately to the dictionary. So if you want to watch the video again (which you almost always do because of how fast they go) you have to wait for it to load again. Hopefully they'll fix this in the next release.

Best ASL app EVER!!. Most complete, clear, many options, intuitive yup!!!!

Pretty good. Some of them don’t seem right and I don’t have someone who I can ask because im not around deaf or fluent asl people also she doesn’t have any facial expression which bothers me a lot. And there should be notes on some where it can mean different things depending on the face. Just a thought but it’s pretty good

Best ASL. Easy to find words I need. Thank you !

Great App. I like this app, because every time I needed it, it was great to do a Quick reference. One thing that I wish they had on here is where you can type in something you like to say and then it would play it back.

Awesome app. This app works perfectly for what I want. I just wish it could send me a word of the day or week or some notifications to remind me to practice. Other than that this app has almost every word I have needed in one way or another.

Word database is correct and exhaustive!. Just wanted to correct the one reviewer who said the numbers are "wrong." They aren't. Numbers 1-10 are signed with the palm facing away from the body. 11-14 are signed with the palm toward the body. I usually use comm-tech msu's online dictionary but the flash still won't play on iProducts so this app is an excellent pocket, easily accessible, version. As a "hearie" I am slightly annoyed my music is stopped when I open the app but other than that I am satisfied with the purchase! Overall this is worth every penny. Two thumbs way, way up!

Great app!. Overall really great app! Has basically all words I need in the moment. Very accurate, although it could use a bit of an update on some words. The app design is also old, but it does everything I need it to do.

Use at work all the time!. This app helps me fill in the many large gaps in my ASL vocabulary. I use it almost daily with young children who receive speech/language services and their parents. I’ve referred many parents and other professionals to the app, as well!

Great. This app is great to remember signs and keeps you updated on new ways to sign concepts.

Some of the signs used aren't correct for ASL.. I just started taking ASL this semester, and was looking for something to supplement my learning outside of the classroom. I found this app and decided to try it out. As I was looking through it, I realized that some of the signs are incorrect for American Sign Language. For instance, in the numbers category, # 1-5 are signed with the hand facing outwards in the video. But in reality the hand signing is supposed to be facing towards the body. Maybe in other forms of Sign Language the numbers are formed this way, but in that case the app shouldn't have been called 'ASL dictionary'. I think in theory the idea behind the app is brilliant, but the creators should have double-checked the signs used. And maybe have signs in different categories for the regions they are used?

Can I please get a refund?. Can I please get a refund I’m not used to ASL and it got boring to me I want to give 5 stars but I have to give a 3 because I’m being honest about how I feel when you get a chance can I please get a refund?

Wonderful and useful. I recently started a job with a coworker who is deaf. The whole crew is really cool about learning ASL and this tool has been great. I only wish there was an option to save signs to flash cards or a shortlist to study them more easily when you have specific words to learn.

Needs Updating. This is a great app and one of the few of it's kind. I like this app because of how many signs are provided, but some signs are either outdated or incorrect. One that i know is incorrect are the signs for "Missouri" and "Montana", they're actually backwards (Missouri is M-O, and Montana is that sign that's listed as the one for Missouri). It would be nice if the signs could be corrected or updated, maybe even include different ways of signing them since there are often regional differences in signs.

Love it!. Yes I love it, and it is very easy to use. It has lots of words which are easy to find alphabetically. Because I am deaf on one side and heard of hearing in the other, I am learning ASL. The ASL Dictionary is very useful and I highly recommend it especially for ASL learners. It is now two years later and I still love this app.

Clear and confident.. This is the best video dictionary in the App Store. ASL is a living language and there are always differences regionally of how things are signed, but after showing this to many deaf friends from all over the USA, they all universally seemed pretty impressed with it. This has given me confidence to use new signs I have learned from the App in real life situations. The list of words in the dictionary is a nice base vocabulary. I like the loop function to repeat signs, and I feel they are demonstrated clearly. If they expanded it to include some common phrases and basic conversation, I think that would be amazing.

Great app for beginners. Several of the signs are outdated but people will still understand you! Wish there were even more words, but all in all this app is very easy to use and helpful for beginners!

No basics. No helpful basic phrases like “how are you?” “Nice to meet you.” No language signs. What a waste of $5 bucks. Not going to help me in my beginners ASL class.

Great App. this is an excellent tool for on the go if you need to check on a sign. The other reviewer obviously forgot that signs are regional and what is typical for a sign in one region is not the same in all. Religious signs differ among religions so insisting a sign for Bible is Jesus Book is correct for many religions but there are others that use Holy Book instead, so dont think this app is wrong because signs differ from whatever region you are from. When in doubt, ask a Deaf person for what they use in a particular region. I have seen very different signs for many things due to this. I find the average ASL dictionary, including the one from Gaulledet will have signs that differ from what the Deaf use in my area. Would like to see an app that uses pictures for kids to learn sign that dont read yet, hint hint..... I have a Deaf son so I this app is very useful for me when i forget a sign.

Good response to break-fix request. After a recent upgrade, app crashed in my iPhone IOS 6. I emailed support not expecting much. They replied right away, gathered more information, and promised a fix. New upgrade was out in about a week and it fixed the crash issue as promised. I also got a follow-up email from tech support to let me know that the upgrade was available (I had already downloaded it, but appreciated the email nonetheless). Better response to a bug report than I've seen from a lot of apps. All seems to be working as expected now.

Very helpful in learning ASL vocabulary. This app has been an important tool to help me learn ASL over the last 7 years. It doesn’t have all the signs I want, but as I don’t have fluent ASL speakers around very often, it is a good source for new signs and to help me remember some I once knew. I’m a Dad with 2 deaf children who have cochlear implants. They are mostly oral and in mainstream school, but we want to be bilingual as much as possible. This app is a key tool.

Very helpful!!!. Thank you for amazing app!!!

First Time User. I’m currently attempting to learn ASL, i found this app to be perfect. The app has a play loop but the best part of it, there is a slow option to see the clip and even play the clip in a slow loop. I highly recommend it!

New Update for Korea. Reason why I give 3 stars cause some of Sign Language is error and need to update new sign language. Like Korea that you sign language was insulting to their language. You need get updates for Korea their sign language for Korea. By the way I’m deaf!

Incomplete. It doesn’t have words like car or pretzel. The signs are often different from what I learned in ASL class in college. I deleted this app. It’s easier to just google the word I want.

Great Easy App!. Easy to use would give a 5* if included popular phrases, but as a newly deaf person it has helped me more than I could say!

Very good on i-phone and I-pad. Very good but on occasion it gets "stuck" and the sign I need does not come up.

A work in progress. When I first got this app some of the signs were incorrect. Upon contacting the developers they corrected the issues. I appreciate their willingness to help people with deaf children like myself that depend upon resources like this one.

Awesome!. Being able to communicate with the deaf persons at my job has changed the team dynamics tremendously!

Great features. What a great app! The loop feature combined with the ability to swipe makes it easy to go through and add to my knowledge of signs. I wish it had a feature where you could translate and type in words and have it put together with several signs so that I didn't have to hunt for them all. It would also be awesome to just have a search feature to type to go to one sign rather than having to scroll alphabetically. But besides my wishes for additional features this is the best ASL app I have tried and it's certainly worth the time of anyone trying to learn ASL.

ASL app. This has helped me so many times when having trouble remembering the sign so I have this to fall back on

This app helps!. My granddaughter lives with us and is deaf. We use it everyday for past 5 years or so. I wish the photo of the interpreter was bigger or a written explanation of the sign and where it comes from (memory aid) was included.

So amazing. It's so amazing how helpful this app is, you just punch in what word you need help signing and it instantly shows you a video of how to sign it. It's all in the palm of your hand. If you want to or have to like we do it's an amazing tool/app to have! Just as a hint to mamas with babies who are teaching they have baby signing apps too and my son loves to watch the babies it's not the signing dictionary for babies it's called baby sign and baby sign and sing! I hope everyone gets as much help out of the signing dictionary as my family has!

Well executed. My wife and I love this app. We have been using it for several years now on the iPhone and the Dev Team keeps updating this app to keep it stable and working efficiently on every new iOS upgrade and new iPhones. Thank you! The UI is very simple and so user friendly; the videos are clear and effective. I like the slow motion feature. Only one suggestion: Please allow user to bookmark different signs as favorites or into different user created folders.

The cool is sign language. This amazing hard for me sign language thank you for help sign language 👑👑

Disappointed. It’s hard to see clearly what she’s doing with her hand in some signs, and it would be much better if she’s positioned to do it from different angles and closer. I wish I’d purchased one of the other apps:(

Great resource. I end up using this quite often. Great range of vocabulary, clear videos.

Not many signs. I am a DHH long term substitute teacher for who is not fluent in ASL. I know, I know, but the district was desperate and I know enough to teach kiddos who are very young and don’t have much language since their parents don’t sign. Anyway, this app has been pretty much useless since about 90% of the time there isn’t the sign I need on here. Thank goodness for my aide who is hard of hearing and is fluent in ASL, but I feel bad always having to ask him. Also, I have an awesome paper dictionary but it takes longer to look up words and the drawings aren’t always easy to understand. If you added more signs, this would be an awesome app since the signers are very easy to understand.

Fantastic and Killer Tech Support Team. I've used this app daily for about a month and could not be happier with the ease of navigation and the simple commands available for each video. I've purchased another of the teams apps, "ASLT" which acts as a great resource for personal learning. Although, the "T" stands for translator, it should not be misused as a replacement for a real translator. The app uses the same images from this dictionary and splices them together for viewing based upon what you type. The Tech Support team is extremely prompt and had my problem with missing videos solved in an instant. Thank you.

I love this app. It's quick, precise, and altogether a great access tool for learning how to sign however, there are many signs it does not have that others do.

❤️ ❤️ ❤️. 😍

Great and Helpful. Love this app. Easy to navigate, informative and expressive.

Good app. Very satisfied with this app, strong list of words, but would be nice if they were updated and added to more often. Also not a fan of this woman moving her lips with each word she signs but overall helpful app.

Nicely done. Large number of words with the ability to slow the playback, & to loop the playback to repeat constantly. Unfortunately some of the videos seem to stop early, and the loop option works inconsistently.

Great word list. Wide selection of words with mostly the most common variation of the sign. I keep my data on for it and it uses next to nothing. I use it daily, and find it to be a great reference, often in combination with another signs-dictionary app. Definitely worth it.

GREAT. I got this app worried i would spend money and not get what i wanted. Ended up loving the product, also how i can cache the videos i have seen so i don't always need wi-fi.

Excellent tool. Great for catching up on my ASL. Very handy.

Good list of words but that's it.. Thought when it said cache videos, you could pick what video clips to save (making a playlist of sorts) but it's just any video you view gets saved. Also if you're offline, it still shows all words but will only let you watch previously watched/cached videos so if you dont remember what ones youve viewed you have to sift through all words.. Should have a favourites or playlist or even flash card option... Something along those lines. But is a large collection of words and videos are easy to follow.

Not for beginners. Really good expansive dictionary but the videos start and play too fast and you can't slow them or start them over. Maybe good for those already familiar with ASL for reminders but too fast for beginners.

Good dictionary. Just purchased this and seems to have a good amount of words. I'm disappointed in the fact that there is no sound. I have a daughter who cannot speak but can hear. Sounds would help as we are still working on reading words. There could be an option to turn on/off sound.

Ty. Ty for this awesome dictionary to learn signs. Love it.

Could be better. Videos are way to fast, and now I'm finding some won't even play ... Not very impressed considering I'm learning and spent so much money on apps

Very impressed. Easy to use, very clear, lots of content. My favourite dictionary to use. 👌🏼

Glitchy. I love this app but some words are glitchy. For example, when I look up "church", it gives me CIA (which is the next word) or the word "cheap" signs chauffeur (which is the word right before that). Then I just have to look up the word. Also, it's annoying that it only works with Internet. When I don't have service, I can't look up words. I'm still very thankful for this app, just hope they fix the glitches! I love Dima

Awesome App!. I think this app is very helpful! Being an ASL student, I forget words sometimes so it is helpful to pull up the app and find the answer quickly. Some of the words don't translate the exact same way my teacher would like us to sign them, however it is a great tool!

One very big complaint. The one BIG thing keeping this from being a great app, is that after viewing a sign & you page back, you are placed at the beginning of the alphabetical scroll, regardless of where you were viewing previously, making you scroll Back thru to where you were before, this is a HUGE inconvenience. And VERY frustrating, wasting time having to scroll all the way thru to find your place!...

Handy Interpreter tool. I'm a certified educational interpreter for k-12, as well as a parent to a deaf child. I use this app for signs that aren't normally used in daily vocabulary. I've also used it to prepare for lessons during my planning period. I suggest to my Beginner sign class and Sign Language club to purchase this app. I like that the signs are ASL, love the idioms, and the categories. Doesn't have it all (4stars), but what it does have is a nice collection of signs.

Excellent. Great for a beginner. Views from the side would occasionally be helpful, but overall there is much to learn from this app. Has basic vocabulary, slow movements if desired, and repetitions if desired. Fun to just scroll through randomly to pick up new signs.

Best App Ever. I've been learning American Sign Language for 9 years now, and like any language, you will never remember every single word or phrase. And that's why I'm so thankful for this delightful app. It provides a resource for knowing the everyday words of ASL. I look forward to future updates of this app.

Best I've Seen. I am so impressed with this app—and I've tried a few. This is better than the more expensive ones. Worth the money. *Developers: would LOVE a history option so I could review the words I've just looked up. That's really helpful for learning new vocabulary.

Thank you. Since I'm still learning ASL I refer to this frequently. The videos are at a good speed for learners. My only request would be to not mute other music while the app is running. Since there is no sound for this app, it doesn't really make sense that it mutes everything else. Thank for this fabulous tool!

Great guide for those just beginning ASL.. I don't use ASL on a regular basis, but this app comes in handy when I do need it. I work in a coffee shop and one of our regulars is deaf and mute, and can only speak in sign. He would normally just write down his order, but I found this app and it allowed me to communicate, albeit in a limited fashion. He was very impressed and also very touched that I took the time to learn some sign just to talk with. Great app, and very useful!

Well done. I really like this app. Almost daily I use it for translation or just plain curiosity. When im working on a song translation almost all of the signs are accurrate. My nephew is deaf and uses the same signs and if there is a different sign he was taught he tells me that the sign i am using is not wrong just different. I highly recomend this app but you should always use multiple references for accuracy.

Easy, quick, and clear. I use ASL as part of teaching foreign language through immersive games and having this video dictionary on hand allows me to improvise in the classroom without taking 20 minutes to look up signs I don't yet know. Fantastic app!

Amazing app!. I am studying to become and interpreter to work with the deaf community. This app is awesome! Every once in a while I forget a sign or two and I can refer back to this application. It also comes in handy to keep practicing. I showed it to my deaf professors and they approve of it too. I love it 😊!

Very extensive. This app is great for those like myself who are trying to learn sign language, and on top of that it's only $0.99, my only complaint is that the videos are a bit dark. I hope in the next update they add a "favorite sign" menu on there, I mean, it's pretty hard to keep track of 4,800 signs. Other than that this is the best ASL app I have. I recomend it to anyone intrested in ASL

Great resource!. I'm taking recreational ASL classes at a local community center and this has become an invaluable tool. It's more insightful than a book of illustrations and easier than browsing website after website. It was recommended by my instructor and I'm glad she did. Thank you for putting this together!

over exceeds all expectations. We are still new the sign language (and other spectrums) world. So, however much I paid for this app it was worth every penny. It is perfect to have on my iPhone. I can pull it out at any impromptu/ practical/ real life moments and educate myself and family on a new word that we can use right then. The "loop" feature is the best. It will repeat the sign over and over until you stop it. This is a great way for my child (and myself) to learn. I've only had one problem and I emailed them and within minutes a real person (Josh) communicated with me and answered my questions. Then, when the bug was fixed he emailed me back letting me know of the fix and the new app update. The "ASL Dictionary" app over exceeds all expectations that I ever had or have for an app. Thank you.

Perfect!!. I lost my hearing 9 years ago and it was hard to find ways to communicate with everyone. Finally my kids and I started learning sign language and it takes practice. This app has been a life saver when I need to communicate the deaf or hearing friends that want to learn sign language. I thing it's great!!!

Well Done!. Looks like the developers addressed the concerns stated by previous users. The navigation is user friendly. When you look up a word, you can replay, loop the video to watch repeatedly, and an option to play the sign slowly is available. The back button returns you to where you were in the dictionary. Totally meets my needs as a beginner!!!!

Much improved. Definitely the best ASL app out there so far. The update is a huge improvement. Only drawback - a few signs are out of date or perhaps colloquial. I like an earlier suggestion to make it go bak to the point where you are in the dictionary, instead of back to the beginning. Intuitive search would be great, too. Overall, a great app. I love that you listen to feedback.

Great app, so helpful for learning ASL. I love that the app lives on my phone and works where there is no wifi or Internet access! My son is on the autism spectrum and struggles to talk; ASL has unlocked communication for our family! Max can now navigate this app on his own and look up signs for himself!

Doesn't provide explanation. I got this app to help me learn ASL. I was downloading free beginner ones, and felt like I needed an upgrade. Some free apps I downloaded provided an in-depth explanation of how to make each sign, but only had about 50 signs on it. I was very disappointed that this paid app did not provide an explanation on how to make the sign. I hope that a future version of this app would include that feature. Other than that, I was very satisfied with the amount of sign included in this app. Would recommend to a person who is not like me and can learn just by watching a GIF (which can be slowed down).

great app for ASL students. i'm taking an ASL class and this app is a great resource to find signs that aren't in my dictionary. it's great because it includes video demonstrations for each sign, so even if i'm having trouble reading the sign out of my book, this app can help clarify. i highly recommend this app for any ASL student, or anyone interested in learning ASL!

Five Stars for the price. There are websites with better videos, options and Category lists, but for the price and its functionality (does exactly what it is supposed to and is very clear), this app is excellent. I've used it everyday since I bought it!

Great ASL app!. This application is truly wonderful. Looking up signs are a breeze! I really like how user friendly it is and how accurate the signs are! I use this app frequently, and would recommend it to anyone learning ASL, like me, or even an experienced signer that just needs a refresher every once in a while!

Great app. This app has helped me communicate with my daughter, who was born deaf. I use this app all day everyday! Best sign app, for my phone ,I have found. Great for learning sign because you can practice whenever you have a few minutes too kill! If don't mind a few strange looks!! LOL

Great app!. Easy to use interface, clear video. New features for looping and slowing the video are welcome addition to an already solid app. I've been using this for about a year and a half now and have found it to be the best reference - not just on the iPhone

A fabulous tool!!!. This is the most useful app for learning signs. Won't substitute for actually learning ASL from a Deaf person as I am. Like any language you need to see how the signs go together in a sentence. But if I forget a sign or want to fill in a hole in my knowledge it's spot on according to my Deaf friend. BTW I capitalize Deaf because I've been taught it is a sign of respect for not just hearing loss but the entire culture that goes with it.

Fantastic!!. What a great app. I am in the law enforcement field and have been looking for an app that can help when I have to communicate with the deaf. It has so much information and such a great investment. The only suggestion I could make, is allow replay of the video. I look forward to putting this to use. I highly recommend this app!!!

Great app. I've been using this app for about a year, and it's definitely my favorite out of the different ones I've tried. It's easy to use and has a good variety of words, though I wish they'd add more. I'd be more than happy to pay for a deluxe version, since I've been so happy with this one.

Incredible resource. I've been using this app for a while to help me learn sign so I can communicate with my deaf girlfriend (who has also been a great teacher). I required additional support so in lieu of that I found this app and it is a very good resource for furthering my ASL knowledge. Even when I ask my girlfriend what a word is and she doesn't know it, she pulls out my phone and uses this app to look it up. I highly recommend this app to anyone really. Beginners, intermediate like me, or even experts because even hearing people use dictionaries.

ASL dictionary. Love this app. As a deaf person it's always great to have a review. Showed this to several friends and they were in awe! Had some problems contacted their tech support and Josh was amazing stayed with me till it was resolved which ended up being my own Internet connection Thanks for this app😄

Love this app. My 6 yo daughter is hard of hearing and, while it is not a substitute for classes, this app has helped us and my daughter's teachers (she also has Down syndrome and is in special education, but is the only child who is HOH in her school) learn new signs when the need arises. The dictionary is expansive and, so far, it is rare that the necessary word cannot be found. Worth the money!

Excellent support for learning ASL. I have pursued learning ASL for two years using A Basic Course in ASL text book from Santa Fe School for the deaf & this app. I use this app often to see actual sign in motion when diagrams from the text book are not clear to me. I also refer to this app often to expand on my ASL vocabulary when my text book does not cover certain words I would like to be able to communicate. This is an excellent app & I highly recommend it to anyone pursuing learning ASL.

Great for adults and kids learning sign!. This application is so easy to use in compliment with Signing Time videos for kids. It helps me continue to teach her even after she has completed all the videos. As a word comes up I can reference and teach her. Love it!!!! Amazing ease with visual recordings.

Best resource app. I have deaf friends that I love to talk to and this app is the best resource I have to better learn to talk with them. I've grown to love and respect deaf culture. If you know a deaf person, download this app and look up word to introduce yourself. People appreciate it when you make an effort to get to know them.

Big help!. It doesn't have everything but this app has been a big help when my 7 year old and I are away from our hard copy dictionary. It gives me a chance to have some way to communicate a word when I just can't remember or don't yet know it.

Nice app, could use an update.. Only recommendations would be to not close video directly after making the user reload to watch again. And also possibly caching the videos you watch during one use until you close the app to allow quicker replay of watched signs during the apps open session.

This is a truly wonderful app!. Having this app is allowing me to refresh my memory on many of the signs I have already learned back when I was in high school and learn many more, providing me with the great opportunity to help my fellow co-workers to have another person to communicate with. Thank you, Chad

Useful. I enjoy the interface and how smooth it is. It's simple and effective. I would like, if possible, the addition of synonymous or glossing. To aid the translation and transliteration portion of looking up signs for accuracy. I know it must be overwhelming to keep everything possible that n perspective when developing apps, but that would be an awesome addition. Will recommend the app and hope+wait+patient for updates.

Decent app but.... As a professional interpreter, I try to keep several reference apps on my devices. Every other ASL or finger spelling app I utilize works on both my iPhone and iPad except for this one. Instead the developers want me to purchase the same app with the exact same vocabulary twice. Overall, this isn't my go-to app anyway since I typically default to NTID and only use this one for a comparative but now that they've changed it and I can only access it on my phone, I will be using it even less.

excellent app but closes too quiclky. This is an excellent app. It has alot of words and the signs seem to be current. The only problem is that it closes too quickly after you are shown the correct sign. You have to stare at the screen, because if you blink, you'll miss the sign. If they could add speed control and not close so quickly after the sign is displayed, this would be beyond 5 stars!

Greatest ASL app out there. I want to be a deaf school teacher or interpreter and this app helps you learn so much so quickly and easily! My only thing is at the beginning the videos where supper short and I missed some of the sign but after using the app a little bit it helped a lot! I think this app is worth the money!

Let us access cache.. This app is great. It really helps while I'm trying to learn ASL. One request. Please put in an option to access cache of watched videos. There is a toggle switch for "cache: on/off" but if we can't access and watch cached videos, then what good is it? I've looked and looked, but can't find cached videos list. Please install this.

Good. Very helpful. Using as a check & review in my spare time... Also my kids like doing a word a day... I like the way the app works in general. One thing gets on my nerves; which is that the search bar stays at the top of this list. After scrolling down looking for something i'm often looking up the next word that will follow in the sentance, but then I have to scroll all back to the top. I wish the search bar was stationary so it would be quicker to get from one word to the next.

Awesome app!. This app Is great - it has a sign for every word you can think of, and even the ones you wouldn't think of. ;-) It's actually a lot of fun, even if you don't need to learn ASL like I do. The ASL Dictionary is a wonderful app - also works on my ipad. You'll love it!

Awesome for learning ASL. I got this to use while taking online ASL classes. It's been an invaluable life saver! I can always find the words I need and the modeling is very easy to follow, you can even slow it down if you need to. I would highly recommend this for anyone who needs a great ASL dictionary!

Woohoo!!!. After long anticipation it's finally here! This app is a great way to broaden the spectrum of communication amung all intelects and abilities. This app is also a great way to expand ur language domain along to great visual demonstration. Overall the best ASL app! For those experiencing problems I suggest redownloading the app. It's worth the extra dollar.

Great app for reference. This app is great, my cousin is deaf and I know some sign language, but I got interested into knowing more than just common conversational words. This dictionary is great as a reference, but it does not help constructing sentences, to do that you have to pay another 5$. This seems a bit much, but I will always suggest this as a reference and I have been very happy with this app so far :)

Handy and Easy To Use. ASL 2 student here. Very easy to look up a word and with over 5000 signs, most of the words I have looked for have been there. Being an app, it's much handier than going to a web page with all the requisite pinching and zooming. The only down side is that sometimes the sign is different than the one we learned in class. This isn't a unique problem to this app of course. ASL often has different signs depending on what region of the US you are. Good response when a recent upgrade made the app crash. Tech support got right back to me.

Could be 5 stars!. I agree with other reviewers. This is a comprehensive dictionary, but it could be much more user-friendly. I would give five stars if the video did not close right after playing but instead could be replayed. "Favorites" and "categories" like "food" would also be a major improvement. Can't complain for $.99!

Fabulous!. This is a lifeline for our family!!! We are the proud parents of some wonderful boys the youngest one being deaf! We use this everyday to help in our communication!!!! This app is wonderful!!! The support team is very on top of things also! Definitely worth the money!!!!
