Incorrect!!!!. The woman who signs for the common phrases is in correct. I'm taking a sign language class and the people on this app don't know what they're doing. Waste of money don't buy.

Great app!. This app is really useful to learn sign language or to communicate with the deaf.

Lackluster. I do not care for this app. I am in an interpreting program and sometimes need to refer to an ASL dictionary for a forgotten sign. Too many times when I've referred to this app, instead of showing the sign, it fingerspells the word. ASL Dictionary app is much better, although, it is expensive.

Awesome. I love this app so much, easy to use and totally worth the price. Buy it!

Still great. This is still a great app, and I highly recommend it for ASL students needing help with vocabulary. It's a lot easier to use than going through Signing Savvy. It could use a few more common signs that are currently just finger spelling.

Bad program. This is NOT ASL, it is signed English. In addition, the program is fingerspelling half of the words, even though the words put in were simple. The developers should be ashamed.

Absolutely wonderful!. Amazing! Thank you so much for coming up with this wonderful tool! My father is going deaf and it has become almost impossible for him to communicate with his family. I can just type in what I want to say and within seconds your video showing me how to sign it plays. Thank you again!!

I love this app!. I have been looking for an app like this to help me with memorizing scriptures in the Bible and now that I got it I can say it has made memorizing so much easier plus I use it for signing to songs! Love it!!!!

I love this app!. This app is so easy to use. I have been signing for 20+ years and do not know all the signs. When I need to know a sign immediately I find it quick with this app. I even refresh my skills while waiting at the Dr. Office or anywhere that I find myself waiting in line. It's great!

Best ASL Translator. This app is the first truly USEFUL ASL translator app that I’ve come across, and it has been incredibly beneficial in my learning. Two things I would love for the designers to add as they increase the dictionary: - the ability to watch in slow motion - a “favorites” section so we can access our personalized sentences with just a tap - a “memory” game where the translator randomly signs words we’ve typed into the translator and we type in and guess the words for the sign we’re seeing. (This one is just something I’m looking for in a learning app, it’s how I learn with visual repetition). Thank you SO MUCH for this app!

Not happy. Won't open needs an update asap. Don't buy at the time.

So very helpful. I'm dating a deaf man and I'm trying to learn ASL so we can communicate better when he's got his hearing aids out at night, in the morning, after a shower, on the motorcycle, etc. This app has been so very helpful when I'm at a loss for words/signs! THANK YOU!

Very helpful. I use this frequently and love the text to sign function. It helps build conversational skill.

Disappointed. I bought this App and for nearly $5.00 you'd expect it to be really good. What a disappointment!! The ASL phrases used are just a few and there are many letters of the alphabet left blank and without a phrase.

Best app ever!. I absolutely love this app. Commonly used phrases are great. Slow motion and the video loop are amazing! Text to sign is awesome. I recommend that you get the ASL dictionary along with with this one. Great tool to learn ASL. I hope to see more phrases as well. Tech support are very quick to respond, THAT is wonderful.

Good!. I like this app and I’m glad they finally updated it. The only thing I would change is make the “text box” larger print. I struggle to see it. But the app works well and is very helpful. Thanks developers.

Grammar needs to be improved. The text to sign translation from English to ASL is incorrect.

The text to sign is a not ASL. This app does not translate your sentence into proper structure in the text to sign portion.

Updated review. After months of working flawlessly the app suddenly stopped working. I received a prompt reply from the developer and now the app is working again. Very happy!! 😊

Pretty good!. This was better than I expected but still has some room for improvement. There are some old signs here and I'd like to see it updated with true ASL across the board but overall, I'd say it's worth the money.

Appreciate. I just love this app. My sister is about 90% deaf so I am committed to learn ASL. This app comes in handy when I need to translate a word or expression. I appreciate time taken to make it possible for me to communicate to deaf ones.

Very helpful. I was going to a conference that was being hosted by a very prominent University for the deaf. I used this app to help refresh myself a bit and to learn some new signs. Overall I was very happy with it and even some of my new friends I made while there thought this was a wonderful app to share and use.

This app is actually really useful. I was accidentally charged for this app but after talking to the extremely human and considerate tech support i got my refund and actually checked out the app and its not too shabby. I mean I personally wouldn't get this on my own but since i had it its actually been really help. A friend of min has recently become a bit of a selective mute and we're learning sign language to help him and this app is great for learning phrases and in general checking single words. Its handy for just the simple stuff.

Terrible. The app is always freezing. If you press play it just doesn’t translate what you type.

Not amazing.. The translator isn't good at all. If you have the other app, it's the exact same thing except you don't have to click on the different words. The videos it comes up with are choppy and usually incorrect translations. I looked up "here it goes again," which I know is very simple to say, and she started fingerspelling in the middle of it?! The common phrases are okay, there need to be more though, and have them maybe integrated somehow with the translator? The asl idioms are nice to know, but there's, like, 5 of them. Needs an update pretty soon.

Really??. 30,000 words? The first word I typed in was finger spelled. I paid $3 for that?!?!?

It's about time!. I have been waiting for an App like this for awhile now. I have a similar App, but it shows a lot of FS instead of the signs. By far this is the best Translator App to date. Thank you, hope that you keep this App updated.

Best App I’ve ever purchased. I was hesitant to pay anything; I’m glad I did. Easily the best $5 I’ve spent on a App. I’ve been using it for 4 years- no problem. Actually, I needed help with initial navigation and support was immediate and helpful. It’s amazing how much I’ve learned using this App. This app is great in distinguishing synonyms: Quick, Speedy, Fast Learn the differences easily.

Also disappointed. I agree with another reviewer that there are too many finger spellings.

Great supplemental tool for ASL!. This is a great app to supplement my class for ASL. I use the Text To Sign option to clarify and learn!

A bit disappointing. I wish the videos showed what words were being signed. I’m trying to learn sentence structure and I don’t know most of the signs so the the text to ask function isn’t much use to me

Excellent little app!!!. This is truly a great little app. Very responsive to simple phrase structure. I agree with the other reviewer though. Signs need to be slower a bit. Really great tool though. Two big thumbs up ;-)

Great. This is a great app for beginners!! You can type in what you want to learn to sign. The only thing I would like different is for the interpreters to either sign a bit slower or to have a button to increase and decrease the speeds. Other than that, it's worth the couple bucks.

Top notch algarythm for smooth running app. Does what it’s supposed to.. Awesome App. Headsup, signing what we type, in English word order, is NOT ASL. The common phrases include some asl, which is awesome. To truly learn this beautiful language and not offend a people and their culture do your research, take some classes and meet deaf people to learn and embrace them as a people. Great app for getting what we need quick. Please add ASL word order option with an upcoming update to make this app out of this world.

Alright. This app is alright it will translate some words but others just spell them out.. Impressed and not impressed at the same time..
