Hu?. I don't get it. With headphones this thing is annoying. They continually play the same repeating single beat in one ear and a second drum playing in unison with the first in your second ear until the timer runs out. Then the drum you get to play will quickly become very overpowering and will generate this loud annoying feedback tone unless you slow down. Even the occasional tap from you yields a sound that marginally mixes with the auto drum. Maybe I'm missing the spiritual aspect of this app, but it's extremely simple and does next to nothing. Don't waste your money as this app isn't worth a free download.

Great app.... Perfect for solo practitioners, as well as novices to practice between classes. Having a "random intent" option (suggestions provided by users) would be a great function to this app: IE: "The intent for your journey is to travel to the Upper World and meet with your Higher Self".

Great for meditation. This has replaced drumming recordings that I was using. I love how the tempo and duration are adjustable.

Keeps the beat!. Just the basics for when you need the drum and don’t have a drum. Thanks to the makers for offering this app.

Waste of Money. Drums sound like crap with excellent headphones, or iPhone by itself, or with decent speakers. Journey map crashes when I try to zoom in. Nice idea. Wish for refund!

Clear Seeing. I used this app to journey for the first time. I started with my imagination then quickly began seeing and experiencing my surroundings easily. I love it. Helps me journey/meditate with ease. Wish the sound was a little richer but works great all the same.

Drum too fast. The drum beats are all way too fast now even on the slowest setting. This sadly isn't usable for me like this. I have the most recent update.

Just what I need!. This is perfect for taking along to a secluded place! I often go hiking, and would draw attention by drumming; invariably interrupting my journey. this allows the privacy I need at the beach, or lake.

Easy to use but. Easy to use. Clear sound, wish the drumming rate could be adjusted and to be able to add the rattle to the settings. Enjoy the call back feture.

Terrific for solo journeys. Great option for solo journeyers who can't journey while drumming themselves. Customizable drum tones and speed for the recordings that run automatically--yay! Personally, I don't like the sound or feel of the interactive drum or rattle features, but maybe I'd feel differently if I didn't have the real thing. Ability to import songs from iTunes is a nice idea, but not that useful when it doesn't seem possible to add a callback to them--hopefully a future update will make that an option. (Developer is very responsive to support queries, so I'm hopeful they read these reviews, too!)

Simple and good. Worth it

Good Idea. This app is a good idea and what it does well is give options to choose type percussion, length of journey, and call back. Areas I'd appreciate improvement: 1. Starting Journey Tempo to transition between worlds 2. Richer sound--the sound is thin and tinny Great idea that needs to upgrade the quality, flexibility, sound, instrumentation, and implantation of the concept.

Pretty good. I love that there's an app like this for shamanic journeying. Easy and convenient to access. I would however would like to hear a definite beginning to the start of the journey, like four long strikes on the drum track before it begins. The mind needs a starting place for journeying.

Great app!. No complaints here! I use this app almost daily. I like the double drums -- the sound is good. Plus, I love the fact that I can see lights on the global map and know that I'm journeying with others around the planet at the same time.

Miss the variable tempo. I have used this app for about 6 months and the latest iteration removed the variable tempo option. The 'slow' option is too fast for me. Love the callback option, just need the variable tempo option back please.

I keep this on my home screen!. The first time I used it to journey, it made diving and climbing a whole lot easier. The call back is also appreciated.

Steady crashes. This app crashes every time I make a change to the settings. Setting are not sticky and the pre set tempos do not vary much at all. In my opinion, this app is very buggy on my iPhone 5 and needs to be fixed

Good features, ok sound. I appreciate the ability to set length of time, callback, etc. I have been usin this app for a few iterations and liked the precious drum track quality better, but this is a useful app.

The Perfect Journey. I've been using this app since 2009. I use it to journey at my apartment where actual drumming would disturb my neighbors. I like the simple yet thorough set of drum options, sound and timing. Overall a perfect app for the modern shaman. Thanks so much for creating it and continuing to support it.

Not updated for iOS 7. App not working in iOS 7 at all. Just freezes and won't play.

I'm a fan!. I've been using this app for a while now for journeying. I've tried other apps that are out there as well as MP3 tracks. Ultimately, I always come back to this one though. Great app!

Slow drum beat!. It’s been really hard to find drumming - in apps OR on YouTube - that feature a very slow beat. This app does and I’m so grateful! I’m only giving four stars though because the only category that offers the slow drum beat is the only category that doesn’t have callback -_- PLEASE ADD A CALL BACK FEATURE FOR THE CEREMONIAL DRUM

Great app. All earlier mentioned problems seem fixed. Can control drum rate. Sound is fine. Callback is awesome. Can play drum and rattle at same time. Only downside is rattle is a little jarring/too synthetic. Also I'm on a 3GS if it matters. Love this so much, exactly what I was looking for.

Drums too fast and quiet. Sound quality seems poor not that you can hear it well without headphones turned up. There are far too few tracks to justify paying 1.99$ for this app. Great concept, should have been free.

Great App!. As a shamanic practitioner, and teacher, I am thrilled with this app. Great drumming. Love how customizable it is. I am going to encourage all my peers and students to pick up a copy for solo journeys and journeys on the go. Great job!

Love it. I really like being able to customize the drums and timing. My only complaint is that some of the loops are uneven, though it's not enough to really distract. Only the ceremonial drum loop seems to just cut out unevenly at the end. Otherwise the app is great and the drum sounds very effective.

Does what it says on the tin. Neat little app. Highly customisable, with a callback and a choice of drums, rattle etc Its not the same as having a live drummer - its never the same as having a live drummer - but it does the job !

Thanks!. I very much enjoy this app. I like being able to alter the length and rhythm of the drumming. I also enjoy being able to add my own songs to the list. I wish there was an option for a slower drum that comes with the app automatically. That's my only complaint so far.
